Me and Kevin are living our best lives. Sam and Eric are just sitting in the corner like sour sandwiches. This text, text her. Sam and Eric can all, you all agree, this song is ass. No! It's from the Devil's Prodigy soundtrack. It's gonna be so fun. That movie made first. I can't wait. I can't wait. I want to see the movie and it's gonna fit great of the movie. Fine. I love it. I feel like I want to hear ordinary because he is. Oh, like she's original there. That was trying to rip off Badon like he said to RuPaul. And her last song was the, what was that? It was F1. Wait, Voodoochi? No, it was Gaga. It was the Wednesday song. Yeah, Dead Dance. Yeah. So I feel like she's trying to be like, it's just a vibe. She's just doing like weird Al stuff. She's just trying to do whatever she's just trying to fit whatever is coming out. Like, all right. She's doing movie hits. She's doing movie. That's a weird, weird, weird. Just hush. It's fine if it's making our money. Just shut it. Just shut it. I'm saying she's going for the money. Just shut it. For sure. I don't blame you. Go for it. Sure. Just shut it. All right, really good. Okay. You're a whole entire 100 people on the list. Okay, I'm ready. The scoop is ready by Taqueria Arrandas. Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people of 2026 can be found at time.com. And they have broken it down by different categories like icons. Who's an icon? Well, that would be Olympian Alyssa Liu. That would be Victoria Beckham. That would be Sterling K. Brown, which, Loki, I have a massive crush on Sterling K. Brown as an actor. I just love him so much. Did I hear that? I have not seen him in that. No? But I gravitate towards- Oh, yes. I just love his acting. I think he is so talented. This is us. I feel like I want to just hug him. Like, when I, if I see him in real life, I'm like, I'm sorry, this is really weird. I really feel like you need to hug from me because I want to hug you. I feel like him and Dream on Green from the Golden State Warriors should do a movie together, like Brothers. Because they both kind of look the same and act the same too. They both could be, pull it off pretty well. Hillary Duff is on the list for icons. Houston's Hillary Duff. Now, are we, do we have a right to claim her, Eric? Do we claim her? Ooh, that's a tough one because I never heard her talk about Houston that much. I know she did the rodeo. She did an interview with her son and talked about the rodeo and he was like, what? You did what? What? So- She was trying to explain to her son. She'd gone viral talking about how the amazingness of the Houston left- That's not weird if you don't know what it's about. And she, her son just did not understand, what do you mean rodeo? And so she was like, it's amazing. It's like all these people and it's so fun for all these days because she knows it well. So I don't know. I guess you could count it. Would you count her more than you would count Beyonce? No. Never, no. Like what's her name? Jennifer Garner was born here, but she's never, she's- Yeah, you could be born somewhere but never have lived here, right? Can't claim it! Hillary Duff was born in Houston on September 28th. When did she move away to become a Disney kid? Let's see if I have her year here that she left. Like is that why she moved? Yes. See, she started her career at a young age. I don't know. I'll have a year here for- At the daughter of the Goldbergs, she was from Shirland. Yeah, we got a lot of people and Judy from Righteous Gemstones, she's from here. Judy! I love her. Okay, Hillary Duff on that list. Nice principles. For pioneers, you've got Mr. Beast. If you've not known what Jimmy Donaldson does, he gives away millions upon millions of dollars but claims his touching count isn't any. He's smart. He goes, okay, what did they do in the 90s on radio? I'm gonna do other bits. On YouTube. Right. For artists, you've got Luke Combs, Noah Wiley from The Pit, Dakota Johnson's on the list, you've got Claire Danes, Benicio Del Toro. Let's see, who else? For Titans, Ben Stiller. Interesting for Titans. Fashion designer Ralph Lauren, Zoe Saldana, which I always called her Saldana, but it's Saldana. Let's see, who else? For leaders, the Pope. You've got the Prime Minister of Canada. Pop quiz, anyone know their name? Who's the Prime Minister of Canada? It's not Justin Trudeau. I know Pope Leo. I thought it was Justin Trudeau. Oh yeah, that was a new guy. Carney. Look at you, you got $15. Here's a taco. You get a free taco. Man, put that on the quiz, on the rapid fire quiz. Mark Carney is the Prime Minister of Canada. Put all people in politics. I know everyone's name. And for innovators, you got the women's team USA ice hockey captain, Hillary Knight. Call him Kevin Berry over here. Kevin Berry, because I got that. You want to go join him? The Politics Show on AM. There you go, you can do that. Hey, I did start on that channel. Can I ask you this question? Go play. Innovators, Eric, they put Nikki Glazer on the list, but Nikki Glazer is also the host of this category special that's going to be airing on April 23rd. It's a gala for the Time Magazine 100 Most Influential. She's the host. And they also put her on the innovator list. I'd give that to her. She's worked her butt off for years. She's in what, mid-30s? I don't know how she is. Working all the time and she finally got the last... Working night to five. And then we found out what you said it was. Dolly Parton's not on that? Dolly Parton is not on this list. Not this time. She's been on the list before, but not this time. This list sucks. Now stop. Yeah. All because it's a gala. It's time for What's Going Down in H-Town. On the Rula Show with Eric. 104.1 K-R-B-E. It is brought to you by Easy Fiber. And I talked with this last hour. A lot of you, Houston, in the community of ice skaters and hockey players, have reached out to me personally on my Instagram at Radio Rula. I've got lots of DMs and asking us here on the Rula Show with Eric to get this out there. The Memorial City Ice Rink was announced to be closing in July. Now this is privately owned. Metro National owns all of that area at I-10 in Gessner. Anything that has that neon light on top of it, that's Metro National. They are doing a complete redevelopment of the mall area. Not sure what's going to stay. Not sure what's going to go. What we know is going to go, because they said it is, is the ice rink. What I didn't know until all this army of the ice community came out to scream and say, please don't do this to us, is that it's the only regulation-sized ice rink that's in this area. The Galleria is not regulation-sized. You have girls who want to be figure skaters and boys who want to be figure skaters. Girls and boys who are in ice hockey leagues. And this is where they practice. This is where they play. This is where they get in it to maybe become the next future gold medalist at the Olympics. But if this goes away, where are they going to go? There are some other rinks, but they're over-exhausted because they're so limited. There's one getting built, I believe, in Richmond, Texas. But if you have a kid in sports, if you've ever had a kid in sports, you know what their weekday is like. They're at school from like seven-something to three or four. Then they've got to go to practice, practice. You're going to go all the way to Richmond if you live, I don't know. You live on Wart. You live on Antoine. You're going all the way to Richmond. We want to be a hockey town. For three hours of that. We want to hockey here. We got to step it up. The best I can tell you is hit up Metro Nationals Instagram at Metro National. There is a change.org petition about saving the Memorial City ice rink. It is profitable. That was a question. It is profitable. A lot of people spend money there. So that is the big push. If you feel that this is very important, let's go. I want to see the plan. I want to see what they're going to do. What are they going to do? Metro National, let us know what you're going to do. All right. We're going around the table next. I'm going to play audio of this influencer, this social media star. He talks about his looks. Oh, you want to play that still? Yeah. Even in the aftermath? Yeah, because all the stuff happened on Tuesday night. I'll tell you all about this guy. Some people agree with him because what he's saying is not lies. We are an entire society and culture based on physical appearance when it comes to television and movies. He thinks looks is all that matters. Okay. You'll get more about him. That's not Kevin. It's other audio. We'll talk about it. All right. Next on The Rural Show there, K-R-B-E. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. Let's do it.
