•May 8, 202622 days agoSummary
Joy shares decades of Sasquatch encounters in rural Georgia, beginning with a 1973 bedroom window sighting at age 8 and culminating in a 2:30 PM highway encounter with a large male specimen. Her experiences span physical evidence (16-inch footprints, tree structures), vocalizations, and corroborating accounts from family, friends, and community members across Dooly and Pulaski counties.
Insights
- Sasquatch activity correlates strongly with waterways, food sources (crops, livestock), and areas of human emotional/family conflict, suggesting territorial interest in human settlements rather than pure avoidance
- Witness credibility increases dramatically when multiple independent observers in the same geographic area report consistent physical descriptions, behaviors, and vocalizations over decades
- Social stigma and fear of ridicule create a hidden witness population; public acknowledgment by credible witnesses (like Joy) unlocks corroborating stories from previously silent observers
- Juvenile Sasquatch display more aggressive, attention-seeking behavior (rock-throwing, window-peeping, road-blocking) while adults maintain distance, suggesting age-based behavioral hierarchy
- Paranormal phenomena (orbs, invisible entities, telepathic communication, electrical interference) frequently co-occur with Sasquatch encounters, suggesting possible interdimensional or consciousness-based aspects
Trends
Increasing public willingness to share Sasquatch encounters on social media and podcasts, breaking decades of silence driven by ridiculeGeographic clustering of sightings around specific waterways and county lines in rural Georgia, indicating possible migration corridors or territorial boundariesPattern of Sasquatch encounters escalating when witnesses actively search or communicate (tree knocks, vocalizations), suggesting possible intelligence and response capabilityConvergence of cryptid sightings (Sasquatch, dogman, UFOs, orbs) in same geographic regions, indicating possible ecological or dimensional hotspotsLaw enforcement awareness and covert monitoring of Sasquatch activity areas (shooting range placement, increased patrols) despite public denialGenerational transmission of encounter experiences within families, suggesting either genetic predisposition to perception or inherited territorial knowledgeSpiritual/paranormal interpretation of Sasquatch encounters gaining traction among witnesses, moving beyond purely zoological explanations

Deep in the rural backwoods of Georgia, where pine forests stretch for miles and old stories still linger in the shadows, tonight's guest has lived a lifetime of encounters that started when she was just a child. Joy's experiences began in 1973, when a creature she describes as something between a man and a gorilla stared at her through her bedroom window. From that moment on, the activity never stopped. From being stalked in the woods, to hearing terrifying screams at night, to finding massive tracks and witnessing objects thrown with impossible force, Joy's story spans decades of encounters with what locals call the Boogerman. And these aren't just sightings, these are moments that left a mark on her life, her family, and the land she grew up on. If you enjoy listening to Sasquatch Theory, like this video, subscribe to the channel, and be sure to comment down below. If you have a Bigfoot or Krypton encounter that you would like to share with me here on the channel, feel free to get in touch with me sometime at SasquatchTheoryAtOutlook.com. With all that being said, let's dive straight into Joy's Bigfoot Encounters from the state of Georgia. All right, Joy, welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing today? I'm fine. How are you? I am doing excellent. Thank you so much for asking, Joy. If you would, tell me a little bit about yourself, where you're from, and your Bigfoot encounters and experiences from the very beginning. Okay, my name is Joy, and I'm from Unidella, Georgia. And it all started for me in 1973. It was the summertime. I was about eight years old. My parents had left with my other brothers and sisters and left me with my oldest sister and my cousin, who was a year older than me. We stayed home that night. We watched a werewolf movie, and the windows were open. It was summertime. time. My parents got home later on. My sister and everybody went to bed. Me and my cousin stayed in the den laying on palace. I was located underneath a window. Our house was facing north, and this was sort of a horseshoe type house. You know, in the middle, it was blank. There was a septic tank that he didn't build over there, and the kitchen window was right there on the north side. I was right there facing I was on the west side there was a window right there well we went to sleep and in the middle of that I was suddenly woke up and I opened my eyes and looked right there in the window there was uh it was a being looking in the window at me and I was freaking out I didn't know what to do. I was terrified. I couldn't move. I was like, I was paralyzed. I was scared to move. I thought it was going to reach in there and grab me. It had like black hair, a smooth back. It had a nose. It kind of pushed up sort of like an ape's tan skin, a little wrinkled, a beard all the way around its face. And it was looking at me. I was only eight years old. So I was freaking out. I was scared to move. I finally started creeping and squiggling over, and my cousin, she was right there next to me, and I couldn't wake her up. I pushed her and rolled her and pushed her all the way across the room to the back door, and she wouldn't wake up. She wouldn't wake up, so I couldn't take it anymore, and I jumped up, and I ran to the back through the hallway to my sister's room, and I was beating on the door, begging them to let me in, screaming and crying. Oh my God, let me in, let me in, that bugger man or whatever that is. He's going to get me. He's going to get me. And they finally got to the door and let me in. And I got in between them. There was a sister on each side. Well, I went to sleep. And in the middle of the night, I threw up in my sister's hair and she woke up. Oh my God, she was mad. I had thrown up all in her hair. And so I had to get up and clean that up and everything. And then we went back to bed. And the next morning when daylight came, I thought about my cousin. I I said, oh, my God, my cousin's still in that room. Things probably got her. I got to go check on her. And I went in there, and she was in the same position up against the back door. She hadn't even moved, and I woke her up. And then, you know, I told my mom and dad and everybody about it, and they just laughed and told me that it was just a bad dream, but it wasn't a bad dream. I know what I saw. So that was my first experience, and that was in 1973. three. Okay, before we move on to the next experience, can you kind of describe what this creature looked like? What did it, what did its face look like? He had like eyes like ours. I mean, they look like just brown eyes with the white around them. His skin was like an olive tone tan. It was kind of wrinkled. His face was not attractive the way it was shaped. His nose was pushed up sort of like more like an ape more instead of a human but the hair framed all the way around his face and his neck and that's all that I could see because that was what was looking at me and the light was shining on him and I couldn't understand how he could be angled under the e to look at me like that with his body on top of the house but then I remembered we had a tv antenna back in those days we got like three channels but he had his legs I guess locked around the antenna and his arm hanging on the side of the house and then leaned his head under the eave to look at me. Wow. So that's what I saw. I didn't know what in the world it was. All I know is it freaked me out. I thought it was like some kind of werewolf man, like the old days, you know, werewolves used to have like sort of the human face, but it traumatized me. From then on out, I was always scared of werewolves or something was going to get me out there in the dark. And My brother used to tease me and scare me all the time about it. Yeah. And you guys called it the booger man? Yeah. Called it the book. My mom used to always tell us y'all need to get in here before dark because if you don't, the booger man is going to get you. Me and my brother used to look at him and go, what in the world is the booger man? I thought the booger man was just them teasing us that it was some kind of devil man that they was, I didn't know it was like something that was all hairy and scary. I thought it was just like the devil or something, you know, I didn't believe in any of that stuff. I just, you need to, we need to get in the house before dark. I didn't believe any of that stuff that they were saying to us. They didn't believe it either. That's what their parents had always told them. I mean, anybody that would go into details, we've never heard anybody talk about seeing that kind of thing. If you did, people would say you were crazy. So even if people did see stuff like that, other people would make fun of them. So, you know, they're not going to tell that or talk about it. So it's like it didn't exist, you know. and whoever had seen it, they would have just, you know, something was wrong with them. You know, they might have been drinking or doing something. They didn't have any business, and that's why they saw something like that. So people just didn't talk about it. And it was, you know, to us, a Sasquatch or anything like that, you'd have to go to California or Washington or somewhere like that to see anything like that. And there was only like one or two of them out there, you know. And then we watched the Boggy Creek. That was like in the late 80s. we saw that movie, but we never imagined that anything like that really existed. We played in the woods all the time, you know, my daddy hunted. So nobody imagined that anything like that could ever exist. We never believed in anything like that. We didn't even have a clue. We just had weird stuff happening. You know, my mom said when they first moved in that house out there, that something kept slapping the walls and daddy would tell her, well, that's just birds flying into the side of the house. And mom said, I told him that wasn't any birds flying into the side of the house. Bats can see it now. And birds are out flying and hitting the side of the house. But that's what your daddy would tell me, that that's just birds hitting the side of the house. So we didn't know that's what it was. We didn't know any of the signs. We didn't know what to look for. We didn't have a clue. We were just living our lives. With the windows wide open, the doors not locked, when my older brothers and sisters, there were six of us, so there was three older and three younger. The three older before we came along, they were in there watching Saturday cartoons, and we had one of those doors with the three windows that went down like steps. Well, somebody came up to the windows while they were watching cartoons and put their hand over their eyes so they could see in there and was looking at them. Well, they freaked out and ran back there and got Mom and Daddy. They hadn't woke up yet, and Daddy came in there, what's going on, what's going on? there's some man looking in the door at us. And Daddy went up to the neighbor's house and threatened that man. I went up the road, and that man was begging him to him, Bo, Bo, Bo, that was not me. You see, I'm not breathing hard. You see, I haven't been running. I'm not going down there to peep in your house. What is wrong with you? And so Daddy just, you know, had to turn around and come back and go, what in the world? Who would peep in our house like that? So we'd have weird stuff like that going on. You know, the dogs barking all night. When I was in my 20s, I was spending the night there with them. And in the middle of the night, oh, my God, it sounded like a woman was being martyred and killed in the woods. And she was screaming so horrible and so loud that it was rattling the window panes. It woke me up out of a dead sleep. And I was freaking out. And I went in there crying to my daddy. Oh, God, you've got to wake up, get the gun. My God, there's some woman out there being murdered. oh god and he said joy joy go back to sleep it's just an old screech owl well later in life you know i'll look it up on the computer and listen every owl there is it's one of my things that i do you know because i like owls but the screech owls don't sound like that and they sure don't rattle the window panes but that was another one of strange occurrences you know and accusing us kids are giving the dogs, I mean, the goats and the horses to sweet feed. We couldn't lift two, you know, concrete blocks and a three-quarter inch plywood off a big old drum and give the animals to sweet feed. We didn't even think about doing anything like that, you know. When we'd get accused of taking his tools and moving them around, we didn't do that either. It was just a lot of confusion at times, you know. Something's eating the chicken, something's stealing the chicken something's getting the quails you know we didn't know what was going on I mean nobody ever thought it could be anything like that nobody talked about it nobody knew about it they didn't know what the sounds were they didn't know anything about tree knocks so that was you know just part of the things that would go on around there with the dogs barking I even had a dog one time that went missing that I had tied out behind my house I was coming home from work one night and there was a box in the road i was in a low car it was a camaro and i run over the box and oh my god somebody had put puppies out there in the middle of the road and i had to go side of the road and pick them up they were dead one left i took it home with me my interior light didn't work when i got home oh my god the dog had the mange and so i treated him and i and i tied him out back behind my little house i turned my mom's beauty shop into like a studio apartment added a room on the back with the bed and the shower and stuff and uh the next day the dog was gone and i went over there upset i said d did you take my dog i was treating him i was gonna you know treat him for the match and all that i said i feel so bad because i run over this box of puppies on the way home from work last night somebody put a box of puppies in the middle of the road in the dark and uh he said joe i wouldn't do that oh my god and him and my brother So they rode all over the countryside for about an hour or two trying to find that dog, but we never saw him again. So, you know, what happened to the dog? But it seems like the Sasquatch, they didn't bother the ones in the kennel. They didn't bother the ones that hung around the house. So I don't know. We never saw anything. You know, even my sisters, when they ran outside, if the man was looking in the window, they looked all around the house, all over the yard and didn't see anything. I said, well, did you look on top of the house? They said, no, we didn't think about looking there. Or up in the magnolia tree. We didn't think about looking there either. So they're real elusive. You know, they can be around you all the time. And if you don't know the signs, you don't even know they're there. And that's the way it was. And, you know, you have somebody out there digging in your garbage can at night. My mom and dad, my dad was going out there to see who was digging in the garbage can. And mama said, Bo, Bo, Bo, don't go out the door. Remember what Joy said. But, you know, a coon can't lift the lid on these garbage cans and go through it like that. It was digging in. It was right next to the back door because the man was coming the next day to dump it. So they had it ready to go down to the curb. But they didn't go out there to look. Oh, my God. They would have freaked out. So, you know, like his deer getting stole. So that's the kind of stuff that was going on. And nobody could, you know, figure out what it was. Okay. So what else happened? When I was about 26, my brother was 25. He had got a Magna V65 Honda. He drove it so fast, he would come by the house, and the sound would follow him. I'd go tell my mom, you know, she'd come out there when he'd pull up in the driveway and beat on his helmet. Don't do that. Don't do that. Well, one night, he was going to see his girlfriend over in Hawkinsville. So that was like east of where we live, the next town over about 20 miles. between Unidell and Hogginsville, there's this curve, and it's the county line right there after the curve. Well, he swung around that curve on that motorcycle, and I'm sure he was going as fast as he could, but he was on a curve, so he slowed down. And when he got around the curve, there was a Sasquatch in the middle of the road. It was a female. She was about five feet tall. She had olive-toned skin. He said she had size, eight-cut breasts, and I started laughing. I said, how do you I don't know what size eight copies. He said, when I used to see little bras hanging on the clothesline, I said, oh, my God, shut up. Anyway, he swerved around her, but she was in mid-stride. He said her mouth was open. Her nose was like an ache. She had a wrinkly face. She had eyes that were big and brown. She could see the white around her eyes. Her hairline was kind of weird. She was weird looking. She was kind of gross. He said, you know, she wasn't attractive. I mean, I'm not going to tell you what he said about her because, you know, we don't want to record that. But she was not attractive at all. It freaked him out so bad. He said she had hair all over her, but right there on her chest was bare, real, real thin. That's how come he could see all the way down to her stomach. And then she had hair everywhere else. But she was in mid-stride, and her eyes was open and surprised. And she had her mouth open. and he swarmed around her and he said he went on down the road said oh my god i can't believe what i just saw he said i started to turn around he said all of a sudden this thought came to my popped into my head said don't do that there could be a male behind her and so he said i kept going he said i thought oh my god a male oh so he kept going anyone out there to see his girlfriend and he told his friends in hawkinsville and he said they made fun of him all night long so the next day, you know, I had come in from work the night before I worked late, and I came in, and the next morning, he said, I got to tell you something, and he described the situation, he told me what he'd seen, and I know for about six hours, I drilled him, and I just kept on, but I just couldn't believe it, and I thought he was lying to me, I thought he was joking with me, I thought he'd turn around and say, oh, I'm just kidding, because that's what he'd do a lot of times after he told me a big tall tale, oh I'm just teasing he believed that blah blah blah he never came back off of his word in fact he got mad at me and he started crying he never cried he put his head down he started crying he said you're my sister and he says I can't believe that you're doing this to me you interrogate me like this nobody else believed me and everybody laughed at me and made fun of me and there you go You've been doing it for six hours straight. I told you what I saw. I can't help it. If you don't believe me, I can't help it. I saw what I saw. And he started crying. And I went over there and I hugged him. I said, I am so sorry. I believe you now. I said, I thought you were just going to turn around and tell me you were joking. I believe you can. Don't cry. Don't cry. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I believe you. And then, you know, I still, in my mind, I couldn't hardly believe it. And like the next day or two, he was walking across the yard and I came up on him. I said, hi, man. You saw Sasquatch for real? And he wouldn't even talk to me. He looked at me like, you know what? You need to get on out of my face. You know, I don't even want to talk to you anymore. He just told me I don't want to talk about it no more. Don't ask me about it ever again. And I knew then he was telling the truth, but I couldn't accept that. because I, you know, even though I'd seen that when I was little, I mean, I just accepted everybody else's word that I probably dreamed it, but I know I didn't. And, you know, I just couldn't believe it. And so, you know, later on, my brother, he's dead now. So, you know, he never came back off of his word. So life moved on, time moved on, and I moved over to Marshallville, Georgia. That's another country spot. I mean, I was out there. It was probably 15, 13 miles out of Perry, out in the country. So going west, you know, like toward Montezuma and Oglethorpe and stuff like that. But my sister had bought some land, and she had a double wide out there. But she was a computer programmer, so she was working all over the place. And I wanted to get away from living right next to Mom and Daddy. I told her, well, I'll move out there and take care of your place out there until, you know, you're done with all your work and see about it, you know, pay you the rent, take care of it and all that stuff. And so I moved out there. Well, as time went on, you know, I lived there and it was kind of spooky out there, but I got used to it and I took care of it. I managed to cut the grass. I bought me a tractor and all that stuff, you know, and I had a neighbor next to me. She had horses. and so uh one night i was sitting up in there and i heard something take a stick under the of the double wide from one end to the other like a picket fence and it had to be something tall because it was only the eaves at the top of the double wide from one end to the other i was freaking out you know i kept all my windows closed after that i put blinds up curtains and all that stuff, something or somebody is out there. Oh, my God. You know, and I started getting scared. And sometimes I would just walk out there at night by myself and walk around the yard so I could relieve the anxiety of the fear of living there because I didn't understand what would have done that. And it wasn't even a month later, my neighbor came over to my house and woke me up out of bed. She was screaming at the back door, pounding on it, begging me, let me in, let me in. It's joyous. Ava, let me in. And I said, oh, my God, what in the world? I jumped up and went to the back door. I said, come on, come on, get in, get in. And locked the door. I said, okay. She's like, have you been over there to my house, slapping on the side of it? I said, hell no. You got a mack daddy. There's briars. There's a fence. I got better things to do. I'm not going to go out there in the dark and slap the side of your house. Are you kidding me? She's like, well, something weird's going on. I said, yeah, something weird's going on. And I told her about, you know, the stick incident from one end of the house to the other. You know, I even told my daddy, he said, well, that was probably an armadillo. I said, daddy, an armadillo is not going to be under the eave of a house. It wasn't down below. I told you it was coming from the top. But anyway, you know, she started parking her vehicle right in front of her house after that, you know, because she was so scared. So, and then later on, you know, I wanted some peaches. We had peach bros all around there. And I said, I'm going to slip over here and get me some peaches in the middle of the night. And I don't want to get caught. I'll not do this. But, you know, I put on all black and I got me a bag. I said, I'm going to go over here, cross the road over here and get me some of these peaches. Well I did I went over there and I was going to get some peaches And I climbed up that big tall six bank onto the flat part where the peach grove was and started toward the trees I went in like two rows, and all of a sudden, oh, my God, there was a heart of deer, and they were just stampeding all around me. I was petrified. I had to get against a tree because I was scared they were going to run over me and kill me out there, and they were stomping all around me, And there was no sound except for them thundering down and running all past me with their horns and all kind of stuff. It was a whole herd. Anyway, I forgot about them peaches. As soon as they cleared me, I got them back down that bank and went back home. That was enough of the peach stealing. No way. Uh-uh. So, you know, it makes me wonder what was chasing those deer. I heard no coyotes. I heard no yipping or nothing like that. It was totally quiet. So I like to get killed over trying to get some peaches. so you know that that should have been a clue right there for me you know so anyway later on you know i moved from there and i went up here to warner robbins and so i bought a house up here my sister came back home and when i got up here i started going to college and stuff so i got me a computer and i got on the internet oh my god then i said well i'm bored and see what they got on youtube and then i started looking at you know sasquatch encounters i looked at sasquatch and I couldn't believe it, man. I was like, oh, my God, they're going to talk about this. This is crazy. You know, it was Brent Sawans and Bigfoot Crossroads, and later on it was Scott Carpenter. And I would listen to all these eyewitnesses and all these tales and stuff, and then I started putting it all together going, oh, my God, that's what that was. You know, that's what was happening. My brother was telling the truth, but I still hadn't seen one myself, so I found it hard to believe still. so I said God please you know I just gotta know it's Sasquatch real you know I need to see one for myself oh my god this is just unbelievable how could this be going on and nobody know about it and then all this weird stuff that's been happening it'll explain a lot of things you know and so you know I had a couple of friends and we different ones we go looking I know that's stupid be careful what you look for you know so you know we went up to Bond Swamp me and this one my neighbor's brother and we went up there and it had a like a four mile trail and then you know we got in there and I said well here's some like king tracks possum tracks and I brushed back the leaves it was like a step up on the muddy road and it was icy cold weather only like it was like 35 40 degrees that day and when I brushed them leaves back there was a perfect human child's fit every toe everything squished down the mud down to the next level and then I started pushing the leaves back everywhere else and I'm like no way no nobody's gonna have their little kid that's like two or three years all out here barefooted in this kind of weather you know what in the world if I never could find another track and then when we got looking there were structures everywhere with the trees bent over and x's and stuff like that and then that boy he was kind of you know he had like a little slight mental issue you know a little bit of schizophrenia he was you know kind of childlike he was like 20 years younger than me he was a sweet pie he went to freaking out he said they're watching us they're watching us oh my god we got to get out of here he was about to cry i'm like man you need to calm down we ain't nothing and there's nothing out here quit man don't it's gonna be all right we just walked this way a little bit but we couldn't do it because he was so upset saying they were watching us and watching so i just got creeped God, I said, you know what, let's go. So we got in the car and left. But when I got home and researched Bond Swamp, there were two boys from Cochran that were up there. They went out there fishing, and they thought it was a bear out there in the water, so his friend yelled at it. And when they did, he turned around and looked at them, and it looked like a big old eight, they said. You know, and it started chasing them. And they run down the railroad tracks that's located near there. And then they split up, and it was screaming at them and being all aggressive and violent. and they finally got up out of there, you know, and they said they'll never go back fishing there again. And then on the website, it was a report that the sheriffs had this little boy that was over there, you know, messing around, hiking, and he had saw one, so he went home and told his family, and this was an actual report that I looked at myself, and his older brother said they were going to go over there and look that he didn't know what he was talking about, and so they went and looked too, and then they got chased out of there, and then the sheriff came, and they wrote reports on it and all, so there's something there too. and then on another excursion i went on we went over to this place over in fort valley georgia it's called the little grand canyon my sister had showed it to me years ago but it's a place with the hills and it was like looks like bauxite down in it washed out like a big giant gully and it's on a little dirt road and it ends up in the back of the cemetery over there but we rode down in there you know and i had this bullet and i got out and i started blowing in it was making whistling noises all through that canyon and there was no way I was going to go down there and get down in it and then it had a ledge up there and I looked up there and I said look man there's deer tracks up here and it had been sprinkling and it was like Georgia clay and sand and I was looking at the deer tracks and all of a sudden there it was man it was like a 16 inch barefoot print and I was like oh my god look at that it's a print man it's a print from a Sasquatch I mean You know, I know some people with some pretty big feet, but 16 inches. I've never heard or seen a guy that wore 16-inch shoes. I mean, a man with feet that big, but there might be some out there, you know. But it was really big. And we started looking for the second one. We looked all around. I mean, within 12 feet all around it, there was only one print. And we couldn't understand that. Why is there only one print up there? So anyway, you know, when we were there, the fence was all tore down. You know, you can tell people had been up there, you know, looking. Even I knew about it. And so it was starting to get late. So we started driving down the dirt road, and then I took a curve to the right. But before, when we were cruising down through there, I was going really slow. You know, I had been blowing that whistle. There was something that was stalking in the tree line next to us, but I couldn't see it. It was like I could see the bushes moving and things like that, but I couldn't tell what it was. And I started getting nervous. I'm like, something is stalking beside the car. I'm out here in a Ford Focus, okay? Oh, my God, on a dirt road, and it's starting to get dark, and I couldn't tell anybody how to get there if I wanted to. You know, would they know what the little Grand Canyon was over there? I doubt it. And there was no houses, you know, around there for miles. I mean, I didn't see any. And we took a right, and when we got on that road, oh, my God, the sand was so deep that the car got stuck in it, and it was already getting dark, and we were freaking out, and now the car was stuck in sand, and now it was dark, and all we could see was one little light way off in the distance through some trees and stuff. You know, and we didn't even know where that road came out at. I mean, oh, my God, we were freaking out. I said, oh, God, you got to get out and push this car, man. I'll just keep working the steering wheel and everything, and you push it, we got to get out of here. Oh, my God, we're stuck, and it's dark. And I don't know who we could call or anything, So we were panicking. And so he got out and he broke a limb. I said, oh, God, don't be breaking limbs. I'm making them cracking sounds. Oh, they might hear you. He said, they who? I said, you know who I'm talking about? And he was getting nervous. It was the same old guy that was like, you know, had a little schizophrenia, you know, my little buddy. He was freaking out. I said, just get, just push the car while I try to get out. And we were bogged in it. And he was trying to push the car, push the car. I like to tore up my car, you know, the power steering and all that stuff, trying to get that car there. Well, he said while he was at there pushing, there was cracking like feet, cracks on limbs on each side of the road. You could hear them cracking on each side of the road. He says he swears they were out there on each side of the road, and he was freaking out. He was like superhuman. He finally got the car up out of the sand. I kind of got it working, and I got it in slow motion, backing up out the sand, and he started crying. He said, I'm like, don't leave me. Don't leave me. I said, man, you better run then. And I said, because I am not going to stop this car in this land. And you're talking about we hearing them cracking limbs on each side of the car. Boy, you better run. You better come on with it. And so he kicked it in high gear, jumped in the car, and then we finally got it on the firm dirt and went back the way we came. But all the way back to Fort Valley, his leg was shaking so bad, man, he was about to throw up. And I was too. I was like, oh, my God, man, I need a four-wheel drive. This ain't going to work in the Ford Focus. So anyway, we came back home and had another story to tell. But his brother thought we were crazy. You know, his brother's real smart. They write books and stuff like that. So he looked at us like we were crazy. We would come back with our tales about the stuff we'd seen. But anyway, another thing was I had a best friend down there in Unidella that I grew up with ever since we were kids. She's the same age as me. We went to school together. We rode to school together every day. So we would go out looking. And she always laughed at me. She didn't believe it. She was just humoring me. And so I tell her, you know, this is what we're going to do, man. We're going to ride out here to South Prong Creek over here on an alligator road. I mean, we're just going to go out there and look around, you know. And we go out there and look around and stuff like that. And one time when we were out there, something dropped a big old boulder down under the bridge. And we freaked out, jumped in the car and sped off. And then another time she got out of the car. I said, I don't think you should get out of the car. I had my little dogs in the back. I said, I don't have a good feeling. You don't need to get out right now. She said, I just want to look at these four-wheel tracks. They're just four-wheeler tracks. These are not Sasquatch tracks. Come on, man. Don't get out. Let's go. I don't have a good feeling about this place today. And when she got out of the car, something started growling and shaking the bushes over beside the car, the side that she had to get in. I said, oh, you better get in here now. And she was like freaking out. And as she was getting in the car, her butt was hitting the seat. We were pulling off. you could feel it in your chest and then we got away you know so we went on about our business and we got a good laugh oh my god what was that and then you know another time we went down to the bridge and uh there was these boys down there with their four wheelers and their little kids on the back you know down there chicken it's so beautiful down there the creek goes under the bridge and it's just on each side of the creek is beautiful you know and so they get on their four wheelers and they pull off and we're still sitting there and all of a sudden this tree knock started sounding off. I couldn't believe my ears, tree nuts, pow, pow, pow. It was like they were letting each other know that they were left on the four wheelers. And, you know, they had to know that we were still sitting there. So that was another experience. And then another time when me and her were out riding the dirt roads, we'd go out there and just ride looking for anything we could see. You know, I'd go out there and yell. I had learned this word, O-C-O, I-A, N-I-H-A. It was like by this lady named Kat that's on one of those Bigfoot shows. And so I was yelling it out because it was ancient Cherokee dialect of, hello, I am your friend. And I did it one time on this little hedge rod that was off the dirt road, and I got a single tree knocked back. I couldn't believe that. I'm like, my God, man, I got a response. It's unbelievable. Somebody in there down deep in the woods hit it, sounded like, you know, a Louisville slugger, pow, right back at me. And so, you know, and then another time we went over Big Creek down Elko Road. You know, we were just riding to see what we could see. And we didn't see anything. And it was kind of late and it was getting dark and I had to go home. I said, well, I didn't hear anything. We didn't see anything. I dropped her back off. And then on the way back, I drove real slow over that bridge going over Big Creek. And when I did, oh, my God, it sounded like something just crashed. A big old giant tree crashed. It was so loud. And I was just like, why did it wait? So I was by myself to do that. That's weird. You know, I always do stuff when you're by yourself and you don't have anybody with you. The weird stuff that they do. So anyway, time went on, you know, and I went on with life. And then I got a phone call from my brother one day telling me that they wanted me to help put my daddy in the nursing home. My mama did, and I told her, no, ma'am, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to help you put him in the nursing home. I love my daddy. I'm not about to do that. So, you know, you might better call somebody else. I can't do it. She got mad at me, but I don't care. You know, and then my daddy, my brother went down there, and they took him to the nursing home. It was horrible. I was so depressed. I just thought about it night and day. I couldn't believe it. And then my mama had to have somebody stay with her. And then my brother calls me, like, you're the only one that's not working. So, you know, you're getting elected to go down there. and stay with mama. I said, oh, so you're just going to tell me I got to go down there and stay with her. Oh, my God. Anyway, so I went down there, and it was a year that I stayed with my mama, you know, while my daddy was in the nursing home. But he didn't stay in the nursing home long before he passed, you know. But I would go over there to see him. And one day on the way back, six days before my daddy passed, that morning when I got up, my mama told me, Joy, you ain't going to believe this. And I'm like, what? She said, your daddy was standing right in front of me, in front of that breaker box. The weird ghosty stuff always seems to happen around electrical things. But she said he was standing there in front of me and everything that he wore when we took him to the nursing home. She said, I couldn't believe my eyes. And so I was like, oh, God, I need to go see daddy today. So I got ready that day and I went over there to see my daddy. And when I got there, I said, what you been doing, daddy? And he had like Alzheimer's, the dementia. He says, oh, I've been going up and down the Flint River with my buddy Herman. The Herman had already passed. We've been fixing trawling motors, and we've been fishing and stuff. He said, and then I wanted to see your mama. He says, all night long, I have walked these roads. I walked these roads trying to get to the house where your mama was at. And he said, and I got lost, and I had to come back. He said, I got to get out of here. I just can't take it here no more. But Mama had seen him that morning. Isn't that weird? I guess he got there. You know, he astral projected some kind of way. That's weird that he told me that after she'd done told me she'd seen him that morning, that he'd been walking all night trying to go see Mama. So anyway, on my way home, after that visit, six days before my daddy passed, I took a different route. I took a different route home. Usually I hadn't really been to the nursing home that way, and I came back a different way. So I came back on 230 Highway, and I didn't know it, but they had clear-cut all this land at Mom Walker 28, right past the county line, you know, where my brother saw the female. And I was like, oh, God, they have cut all those trees. Look at that. And then all of a sudden, there it was. It was 230 in the afternoon on 230 Highway. I'm heading west, going 35 miles per hour. there is a Sasquatch less than 100 yards away from me had his back toward the road he had a his shoulders they were like 4 feet wide he was really big and he was V-shaped and they went down to a booty his behind was like perfectly shaped like an NBA player I'm not lying his legs too he didn't have no neck he had his back to me he had these big old long arms And he had this big old log stick. And he was taking it and he was prying and pushing big, you know, sticks logs up with it. Using it as a pry bar. And he had his back to the road. And I got a good long look at him. And I said, oh, God, I want to stop. And I looked in my rearview mirror and there was this white car that was right up my behind, man. It was right up. And I couldn't stop. And I'm like, good Lord. Anyway, I let them go around me. And I turned around and came back real fast. Because I wanted to see what he looked like in the face. But when I come back, he was gone. And then there was this big gully wash down through there. And it looks like I could see a dark shadow. Like he was down there hunched down, you know, like all on the ground, hunkered down looking at me. But I couldn't tell. But he had gray skin. He had thin black hair that was about five inches long. He had a round head. His hair was thin. I always expected it to be thick like you see on all these movies and these shows, like the one in Washington. But it's hot, Georgia, so. He had thin hair. You could see his skin through it. The sunlight shone on his back. You could see his muscles on his back rippling, his arms, the whole pure shape of his behind. It was thin on his behind. It seemed like up there around his shoulders and the upper part of his arms, it was thicker. And then after his behind on his thighs, it was thicker. so anyway i just was in shock you know it wasn't about three or four miles to the house after that to my mom's house and then i got there i said you ain't gonna believe this oh my god i can't believe it and my baby sister was there and she said you saw him didn't you and i looked at her like what are you talking about she said oh you saw him i said i saw him and i started laughing because i couldn't believe she knew she said you saw that big man you saw the sasquatch i said god almighty how do you know she says i know you did i can tell by the way you look and i can feel it i know you saw him she's i gotta call some friends i got a friend his name eddie i'm gonna call him because he's seen him and everybody laughed at him and everybody made fun he's been so just drawn over him and these two girls they were out there on that bridge and they were you know smoking at something, and he felt something looking at him. Well, anyway, Eddie called me, and he's like, Joy, Lori said that you saw the man. You saw the Sasquatch. I said, man, I saw him. I cannot believe it. It's real. I saw him. Oh, my God. He was a big one. He started crying. He said, oh, my God. I just can't believe somebody else has seen him. this is a you know a strong black man a friend of my sister's he's like i've been made fun of everybody's made fun of me and them two girls they said we was lying he said that's all they did they made fun of us all night long i can't even hold my head up in town up there they just think we're crazy i said man you saw him i believe it he just started crying he says i feel so good to talk to somebody that's seen him besides me because the pressure and the humiliation and people making fun of him was just more than he could take us as a really a small town you know but he told me the story he said that they was out there in a little honda and he's out there smoking on the bridge on alligator road he says i felt something looking at you know how you can be in a crowd you can feel somebody looking at you said i felt something looking at me he said i turned around looked out there by the creek he said and oh my god there he stood. He said, Oh God, I'm mighty. He was big and he was ugly and he was scary. And I told them girls, I said, look, look. And he said, they look. And it's two black girls. He said, Oh my God, they went to scream. And he said, they was kicking me all upside the head. It was a stick shift. We was in that little bitty car and it was rocking and they were screaming. And that thing started walking toward us and they was kicking me and about to tear up my car. And I was freaking out And I couldn't get it in gear because he said they was kicking hard, too. They was hurting me. They was kicking so hard. They was freaking out. And he said, and he went, when he put it in, you know, put on the brakes to change it, to put it in gear to try to get out of there, he said, this is when the taillights hit it. It was going, you know, it was dusk. It wasn't quite dark yet, but it was getting there. And he said, and when he did, he said he looked in the back and he said all he could see was like, you know, the bottom part of his, like up to his thighs, the thing was so big and so tall that he couldn't see anything. but that part of his thighs through there. So anyway, he said they sped off, you know, and went to Unidella, and then they made the mistake of telling people, and he said they haven't lived it down yet. And, you know, and then later on I went with my mom to church, and there was this girlfriend, and my mom's a really good friend of hers. She had a husband. His name was Thomas. For 30 years, Thomas has told his wife that he saw the Sasquatch out on Lackler's Bridge Road. Lackler's Bridge is another little old creek that we got around Unidella. it's closed off now because a boy fell over on a motorcycle and died there so they they closed it off it was not a necessary road but when thomas was young he was older than me he said he was just out riding you know and you know we like to ride in the country towns we love to ride the dirt roads man it in our blood we ride the dirt roads and we check it out we check it out the nature you see eagles You see armadillos You see all kind of stuff out there Anyway he says I stopped there on the bridge a minute you know listening to the water trickle, and he says, and I felt something, you know. And I looked, and he said, and there it was, man. He said, it was a big old black thing, and he said, it's already starting to get dark. And he said it had red eyes, you know, that were kind of glowing. He said, I had a heart attack. he said it scared me so bad and it was so big and it growled and he said and I jumped in my car and I went home and he says I've told my wife for 30 years that I saw that and she tells me every time and laughs at me and makes fun of me and tells me that I'm a liar he said do you know how that makes me feel as a man to have my own wife laugh laugh and make fun of me and tell me a lot I know what I've seen I said oh I know what you've seen too oh my god you know and then I talked to miss kim i said miss kim you need to quit doing that to thomas i said because those things are out there and they're real she says joy you have got to be keen i said no mama told you i saw one few days ago you know this so you need to quit that are you supposed to be a christian too and you're doing that to your husband i said that's wrong you know and then the insurance salesman another story he come out there to see mommy you know still he's a friend of ours his name is john i said john you ever had anything weird happen to you out here because i ask people all the time because I love collecting the stories. He said one time him and his daddy was over there fishing, and it was on that same creek from Lackler's Bridge. He said they had put these here jugs out, you know, the little trolling lines over there in the creek, and they were going to camp out and spend the night there. So anyway, they had done that, and they had them a little fire going. You know, it done got dark, had the little tent and stuff. And he said he was going to go check the trolling lines. And so he walked over there to the creek, and he said, and we went down there to check the lines. He said, there it stood on the other side of the creek. And he said, this one had red eyes, and it was dark, and it was black because it was dark. And his daddy freaked out. He left the trolling lines, and John said, he came back up the creek, said, get all your stuff, get all your stuff. Right now, get all your stuff. We got to go. And John's like, what in the world? What's wrong with you? He said, do what I said. And he said, my daddy was so mean. My daddy was such a nice man, but he was so mean and hateful and told us to get our damn stuff that we was to leave right now. and they just left them their little trolling lines. And then they got home and his mama was there. And when they walked in, she said, well, I thought I was going to camp out. What are y'all doing home already? And she looked at her husband and said, oh, my God, you wide as that refrigerator. What's going on? And then he told her, you know, what he'd seen. So, you know, the insurance guy told me that's his Sasquatch story, you know, that that's what his daddy's seen. And they never went camping and they never went there, stayed overnight, or did any of that again because of what he saw. and then there was a little boy at church. He came to me. He made me laugh. He says, oh, I heard you as the Sasquatch lady. I said, oh, my God. Who in the world said that? He said, Mr. Thomas and them. He said, I got a story for you. I said, you do? I said, I love collecting the stories. I said, what you got to tell me? He said, Ms. Joy, he said, we live over there in the boonies and the double wise, and he pointed, you know, as the crow flies in a direction. He said, there's no neighbors around us. He said, and this little boy was about 12 years old. He said, I was on the porch, you know, just messing around, doing what boys do. They don't do nothing. I'm just sitting on the porch, looking around, you know, eating me a snack or whatever. He said, and then all of a sudden, this thing come out of the woods. I said, what thing was it? He said, he was a hairy, and he was scary. He had red glowing eyes. He had long arms. He was standing there just looking at me. He said, and I got so scared. He said, I couldn't hardly move. And I ran there and told my mama. And we locked all the doors and shut all the windows and pulled all the blinds. I said, he had red glowing eyes. I said, really? He said, yes, ma'am. I said, have you ever been on YouTube? Because I thought maybe he was just telling me a story, you know. And he says, what's YouTube? Because he's from the country. They don't have the internet. I knew right then he was telling the truth because how many stories do you get about the red glowing eyes? So, you know, there's a kid that's done seeing him over there. And then another person at church told me that this man, they own this land over there and they love to go hunting. That's why they bought it. Lots of acreage over there. His son loved to hunt. Oh, they love deer hunting, all that stuff. They said his son went down there deer hunting and got screamed at and yelled at and saw one. And that he won't go hunting anymore. He's done. He don't want to talk about it. They want to sell the land. They don't want to hunt there anymore. That's all they got to say about that. That's the end of it. So, you know, when people find out that you've seen it and you're bold enough to come out and tell it in public, you're not ashamed or whatever, it gives other people a chance to tell you what they've seen. And a lot of people, nobody believes them. You know, nobody wants to listen to them. Nobody wants to hear. They want to call them a liar. They want to interrogate them. I know because I'm one of them people that used to do that. I did that to my own brother and made him cry. So, you know, when people come to you with a story like that, you know, lots of times, you know, they're not lying. I mean, you got your liars, but you know the known liars. I mean, my brother had a couple of friends. We all know they lied all the time. I mean, they're known liars. So anytime they tell you something, but they won't tell you nothing like that because they're the kind that would make fun of somebody else, you know, if they've seen something like that. I got a friend who does taxidermy. You think he's hunted all his life. He's been all in the woods. He ain't never seen no Sasquatch. Okay, okay, fella. It's all right. You ain't never seen one. You're the expert huntsman. You've been all over swamps and all over the woods. You know, if you don't know the sign, you don't know what you're looking for, you don't know if you've been around one, but he hasn't been chased out of the woods. Okay, and back on the subject of where I saw the one on the side of 230 Highway, right next to the area where I saw them. The Duly County Sheriff's Department has a shooting range out there. And before you get to the shooting range, there's a woods on the right-hand side. When we were out there riding, and that is right around the corner from where I saw that big male, there are just arc over trees and X's all in them woods. I mean, if you don't know about that kind of stuff, you don't even know what you're looking for. But there were so many, it's like, But, golly, that many? Me and Laura were just amazed, you know, at how many. I mean, what's the chances of it being that many of them like that bunched up in that area? But that's all in the same area around South Palm Creek, around the Dooley, Pulaski County line down in there. In fact, you know, nowadays, they don't even want anybody riding down Alligator Road. Me and my friend, we got pulled over by the police. They'd just been to the shooting range after we'd been down there looking and stuff. Oh, what are y'all doing out here? And there's about 10 of them. I'm like, oh, my God, man, out here in the boonies, we get pulled over by 10 cops. It's the Duly County Sheriff's Department. They'd been to the gun hunting range, so they sent us out there, and we were suspicious. So they pulled us over, checking my car, checked me. You know, he grabbed me and said, oh, what's that? And he yanked up my shirt. Oh, it's an ostomy bag. How you like that? Oh, like he touched something hot. And I went laughing, pulled my shirt back down. No, it wasn't a bag of dough. Thank you very much. Well, what are y'all doing out here? I said, well, if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. You'd think I was crazy. But there's a reason why we're out here. Well, why y'all out here, Miss Bellflower? I want to know now. And they were just mean at them. You know, that's their job to be that way. So I told them, I said, okay, we're out here looking for Sasquatch. And they went laughing. I said, what you laughing for? I said, hell, I wouldn't be out here looking for him if I hadn't already seen him. And then this one guy that was with him, he was about my age, a little cute little blonde hair, blue-eyed older man about my age. You know, he started laughing. And they said, come here, me and you need to talk. He says, oh, I love them Sasquatch stories. Oh, my God, tell me all about it. And while I was telling him the whole Sasquatch story, they'd go through my car, you know, looking for drugs and all that. And my best friend pops out, and they just totally ignore her. And that was just mesmerized with the Sasquatch story. You know, I gave him every detail. So the Dooley County Sheriff's Department, you know, knows all about the Sasquatch. because as a matter of fact, in two or three days, they had a six-man hunting deer stand in the same exact spot that I reported that I saw that thing. So, you know, why would they go through all that trouble to put that up at mile marker 28? Okay. So anyway, he told me, he said, go around each one of these boys that's searching your car and tell them about what you're saying. And I started telling them and their ears would turn red and their face would turn red and they wouldn't look at me. They were embarrassed. they were uh freaked out by it i said so while y'all out here hiding out you know pulled up in these little groves you know waiting on somebody to come by so you can bust them i said you better have your donuts tucked away somewhere i said because the sasquatches were able to reach in the window you know take them from you they got their little stuff and they let us go on our merry way you know and then laura was like man they forgot about all about me over there you know when you started telling them about the sasquatches you know so the duly county sheriff's department knows about it, you know, so I told him, you know, I don't tell lies. I don't have a reputation for telling lies. I've never. My daddy told me when I was younger that everybody lies, and I looked at him like he was crazy. I said, no, daddy, everybody don't lie. You know, I guess he thinks that because, you know, he used to do coon hunting all the time, and him and his buddies would stand around in the living room right there and tell a whole bunch of lies before they would go hunting, and that reminds me. I asked my daddy, is there anything weird ever happened to you? And it There's two things that happened to him that was strange. When he was a kid, he was on his bicycle. He had been at his friend's house too long, and he was on his bicycle, and it got dark. And it was a curve in a hill, and on the hill was a graveyard. My daddy said he rode by the graveyard. He said they used to call them ghost lights, gas lights, whatever. He says, well, I saw some up there at the graveyard, and as I rode about it, he said, one guy after me started chasing me. I was on my bicycle. I'm freaking out. I'm pedaling as fast as I can. I can't outrun it. He said, so I slung my bicycle down in the middle of the road, and I just run to the house, run through everything, and jumped in my bed and pulled the covers over my head. He said, and all of a sudden, I seen a light in the window, and it was that ball, and it said, Bo. And he said, and I was just freaking out because it was saying my name. He said, I can't believe how in the world would that ball of light know my name. He says, I was so exhausted. I was sweating under them covers until I just finally went to sleep. And then the next morning, this man came by and said, Miss Dora, what's Bo's bicycle doing out here in the middle of a dirt road? That's because he'd left it. But on that note, Daddy liked to coon hunt. And so one night he went by himself, and he had his blue-tick hounds treading. He was by himself sitting on a log. He wore them headlights with the big battery back in the day. And so he's sitting there. He was by himself, and the dogs were treading. And he said, all of a sudden, something came up and tapped him on his shoulder and said, Bo. He says, I like to lost all of my bodily functions. He said, it was all I could do. It was like I was walking in water to stand up and to walk forward. And then I got 12 feet around, swung around with my headlight, and there was nothing there. So I guess that's like counting coo on somebody. That's what the Native Americans do. So he tapped my daddy. Daddy didn't see who it was. He thought it was one of his friends. There was nothing there. So he got his dogs and he went to the house. And after that, he never went coon hunting by himself ever again. That was the end of that. So, anyway. I think that's about got it for the Sasquatch stuff that I can remember. You know, other than my best friend, you know, her daddy up there on that curb was doing logging work for the people that own the land right at the Dooley-Pulaski County line. It's a campsite. her daddy was having lunch with him one day and one of his co-workers came in and said miss lemuel the men have quit working they refuse to go back in the woods to cut the trees they're all freaked out they're all terrified they said there's some kind of monkeys or some kind of aches or something out there in the woods they're hollering at them they're growling at them they're throwing rocks at them and they said they're not going back in the woods they scared to death and so her daddy you know got wiped his mouth out from the lunch table you know rode with them back out there and told them look here you're gonna go back to work because if you don't go back to work i'm not going you're not going to have a job i'm not going to have a business we ain't got it like that you're gonna go in there and you're gonna get them trees and so he forced them to go back to work and they went in there and finished up and the whatever was out there backed off and left them along they were able to get those trees and move forward and take them on out of there but that was laura's story from her daddy and then i have another friend of mine him and his daddy was out on the logging road over there in crawford county way out in the woods only logging roads dirt roads all up through those woods okay nobody lives there for miles they go over there him his dad and his uncle and they shoot a deer okay they got the deer they're trying to get out of the woods with him and then they're starting to be stalked his uncle is a grown brave man okay he started crying like a little baby oh lord is there something follows we gotta get up out here just drop that deer let them have it let them have it i don't care i'm gonna bust up out of here i damn that deer and they're like hey hey you need to stay calm man they'd already been up to a creek and saw tracks, human footprints all around the creek, way, way deep in the woods. Nobody took their kids all up in there, all different sizes, you know. And they know that was what was after the deer. But, you know, them two, Chris and his daddy, they weren't fixing to give up their deer to nobody. They're crazy like that. They're from Cochrane. But anyway, they made his uncle, you know, hold on to that deer and get it out of those woods. But all the way out of the woods, they were stalked and tracked and stuff being broke all around them. it was trying to intimidate them so and then i had another friend of mine she was on the facebook she said i just bought this property out here in pelaski county out here around hawkinsville and i just can't believe it i told my mom and she was posting this on facebook there's monkeys out there in them woods and i'm like i respond back to i said that's not monkeys that's sasquatch and you know what crickets okay people just can't believe it and then my best friend her son had been over there partying over there in hawkinsville well he couldn't get a ride home and he didn't have a car so he said aunt joy that's what he calls me i'm not really his aunt but by blood but anyway he said i had to walk home i said oh my god you had to walk home on that long desolate road oh lord i couldn't have done it he said well i had to so i got to walk and he said i got so tired he said that you know i come to this here uh pine grove you know side the road he says hell I had to lay down. He said, so I jumped the fence and went over there and made me a big old bed on that straw, you know. And he said, all night long, I heard monkey chatter. He said, Aunt Joy, are there monkeys out here in these woods? I told him, no. They say it, Sasquatch. He said, well, they didn't bother me. He said, I was out there sleeping. I know they had to know I was there. He said, but all night long, the monkeys chattered. So that was his story. And then his sister had been out there on the South Prawn Creek Road, and they had this tree out there. They would go out there and hang dead people's shoes on. I'm like, y'all are weird. But they put their shoe out there. They called it the Soul Tree. Since then, it's been removed because I felt that's distasteful. But anyway, they had gone down there for that. They went down to the creek, checked it out, and was coming back. And they stopped right there at the Soul Tree, and she says, something in my rearview mirror caught my eye. I turned around and looked. She said, the Sasquatch crossed that road, the dirt road right behind them. So she saw one. And then she was over at a friend's house one night, and she didn't have her way home. And she started going through the woods trying to take a shortcut back to Unadella. And she had to call her mom about 2 or 3 o'clock in the middle of the night begging and screaming and crying for her to come get her. She was with a German Shepherd that belonged to one of the people that lived there. But something was stopping her all through the woods. and she felt like, you know, that dog was trying to protect her, you know, but she was so terrified. But her mama had to just, you know, get up out of the bed and go get her because she was freaking out because she was being stalked in the woods. I'm trying to look at my notes here, see if there was anything else that I could. Oh, my baby sister was out on the front porch. She called me at 3 o'clock in the morning when I lived here in one of Robins and told me that, oh, my God, you're not going to believe this. I'm like, what? What's going on? She said something just run me in the house off the porch. I was out there smoking a cigarette right now just a few minutes ago. But I had to call you because I know you into that Sasquatch stuff. She said it sounded like somebody had turned loose of a big old freight train with it, you know, not being crunked up, no engine on it. And it just was crashing through the woods coming toward me. And she was freaking out so bad she had to run the house. But it chased her into the house, I guess, so it can wander around your property. They'll chase you into the house. you know maybe they don't like smokers but they've never really bothered me like that but my sisters you know she's a bad girl so I don't know if they can tell if you're a good person or a bad person or what's going on with that but maybe they just want to you know get around in the yard so you know after I saw the the one off 230 highway I came home and sketched him and I was sketching him I said in my mind I wonder what his name is you know you wonder do they have names I mean are they people what are they and then all of a sudden out of the blue you know right time I said that a thought was projected in my head it's not my thought because I had never even heard the word before I mean I hadn't thought that I'd heard the word before I didn't know the word but it said Brahman just so quick and I'm like Brahman you know and then I looked it up on the internet and there's Brahman bulls we call them Brahma bulls we don't say Brahman but whatever it was that put The thought in my head said Brahman. And so I looked it up, and it was like the ultimate reality. It's supposed to be like the God source, like the source or the energy of all things that runs through everything that connects everybody. And that's what Brahman is. But I thought it was weird that a Brahma bull is gray and has the black hair on his shoulders and on his thighs. And that there Sasquatch that I saw on the back of his thighs, I didn't see the front, but the back was thicker and on his shoulders was thicker. but he was gray so that was weird and other than that i've had a few sightings uh like ghost stuff and a orb let me look at my notes here okay so you have about everything okay one night i came home from work took a shower i used to sleep in the dark all the time because i wanted to save energy not have any lights on. So I take a shower and I lay down in the bed. My whole house has been shaped, which I did every night. All the doors are locked. All the windows are bolted. Everything's good. I lay down in the bed. And as I'm laying there, I start hearing somebody. I have hardwood floors and I call it the blue room. When I moved here, I had to paint that room blue. But like a hank blue, like a baby powder blue. Eddie Bauer blue is the color. But somebody was walking in that room with boots on, and I'm laying in the bed, and I'm like, oh, my God, somebody is something is in my house. I just knew it wasn't a person. I was freaking out so bad. I couldn't hardly breathe, and I felt this negative energy. I swear to God, I thought I had a demon in my house. And I started praying to God, and I was crying. I said, God, please save me. There's a demon in my house. You could hear it walking. I was so scared. I couldn't even get up and go look, man. I said, what if I do see it? It's coming to get me because the steps started coming toward, you know, the hallway. And my room opened up the next room over from where this room was having that noise. And I was crying. I was freaking out of sweat. And it happened so fast. And I was freaking out so hard. And I was praying to God, Archangel Michael please come save me There a demon in my house I just know it a demon There a demon in my house I freaking out And then all of a sudden those rooms are next to each other adjacent to the wall They share the same wall. This big orb, it was blue. It was the size of a soccer. Shot out of the top of my closet wall on the outside, down to my face. Just inches, like 12 inches from my face, I've got a blue sucker-sized orb in my face just right there. And then, you know, I was crying and freaking out already. And then I said, oh, God, what is that? And when I did that, it popped, and it had three crackles come off of it, like little firecrackers shoot off of it. Every time one crackle went off after the other one, I went back, back, back until I was in a complete sleep by the third crackle. and I got up the next morning and everything was fine, you know, but I started getting into a lot of spiritual stuff after that, you know, salt in my house, sleeping with salt. I'd never slept in the dark again. I was just freaked out by that. I mean, I'd like to know what that blue orb was, you know. What if I, did I have a demon in my house? I mean, was that Archangel Michael? I mean, what was the blue orb? Soccer size, I'm talking about, in my house, in my face. that really just woke me up to things being really weird. So that was crazy. And then one day my sister worked for the Red Cross. She'd come up here to work because I have that high-speed Internet, you know, that good stuff. The coax, you know, I can't think of the name of it. But anyway, the real fast. She's in there working. I'm on my computer. And I just, something caught my eye, and I looked up, and there's a lady standing in my hallway dressed in 1900 clothes. She had on like one of them big straw hats, like a peasant's blouse, a white one. And it looked like she had like a black cloth over her hair, and her hair was pulled back in a bun. And she was kind of young, and she had a long black skirt on. And that freaked me out. And then when I looked at it, I got a good look. Then she walked on into that room. And so I got up, and I said, Beth, did you just get up now? I said, well, there's a woman just walked through the hallway, and I looked in the blue room. There's the blue room again. I didn't see anything. Only thing I could see, you know, that made me think of her was this picture, this etching I got by Jeannie Brown's comb. She's got the same initials as me, an artist. And it was berry picking time, and that's the way those ladies were dressed in it. So I told my mama what I'd seen, and she told me that I just described my great-great-grandmother. So I don't know. That was weird, though. I mean, my neighbor one day was sitting out here talking, and my neighbor next to me, his mother had died in the house next door. Passed away there, you know, on purpose. You know, she died there. We're sitting out there talking, it's dusk, and we're looking toward my house and my neighbor's house with the other neighbor. And I'm like, who is that woman right there? And we was like, I don't know. What's she doing right there between y'all's houses like that? I said, I don't know. So I crossed the cul-de-sac and run up there, and she was gone. But when you see these entities and stuff, it's weird. They're always near a meter box or an electrical box. I don't know if they're pulling energy from that to manifest or what. You know, and then I got this old antique iron bed in here, and I was in here decorating, working, cleaning and stuff, and there was this big old black mass that accumulated over the metal head part of it right there while I was in here. And I was like freaking. I felt the energy off that being all negative, and I was like, what in the world? you know so after that I started saging and praying over my house and stuff you know all the time with uh Paula Santos you know and prayers and salt and blessing my property and every night before I go to bed I pray and so you know ever since I did the Jesus the Archangel Michael with the blue orb thing and that works so that's my go-to if you see anything crazy I feel like that's what you need to do i mean it worked for me so i don't know what's going on in this world i don't know if the veil's thinning or things are getting weird or i don't know if it's that i finally slowed down in my life to notice things but the other one more thing that i can tell you about is me and my friend went to the georgia guide zones before she died you know she passed my best friend did but we went up there because we wanted to see them and it's weird a lot of these entities and stuff are seen around granite and stuff too like granite on the railroad tracks granite at the cemeteries so we go up there to the georgia guidestones and we're reading them and all that stuff and you know i'm always looking at the sky because i see weird stuff in the sky from here time to time even my little boy saw a ufo over the pine tree here in this cul-de-sac so i'm always looking at the skies but i looked up and there was a chem trail up there and then there was a jet And then there was this big silver round ball up there. It was bigger than the jet. It was closer to earth than the jet. And it was up there. And I was like, oh, my God, and what is that? That is weird. And then, you know, I found out later that day there was two more people that reported seeing it. So I tell my friend, but she's blind. She couldn't see like me. I got good eyes, and she doesn't. But she couldn't see it. But anyway, when we got in the car to leave, I told her, I said, I'm going to look up and see if that thing's still up there in the sky. And when I come out the side of the car up to the hood, oh, my God, over the top of our car was a white orb. And I looked at it, and then I thought, you know what, if I'm not tripping, in my brain, I said it real fast, do a 180 and shoot off. And it did a 180 and shot off. So I don't know if it came from that thing that was in the sky, but it was following us. You know, and I got in the car and told her, but, you know, she thinks I'm full of it, you know, laughing and everything. but when I got home and this is another strange thing about it is right time I got home you know I go on my computer and pound pop there it is oh Merkabah they're still over they spin they're with the Pleiadians is like Billy whatever his name is it was advertised you know for the UFO shows and stuff on the internet and I'd never heard that before but what I saw was a Merkabah is about what he described it and they do send out white orbs and the white orbs can read your mind and follow you around they're there to observe they're there to listen to what you say and then return to the mothership so i don't know if that's what i heard that was weird that day but i think that's the last of all my oh when my baby was little i had a little boy he was a baby he was in the other room. It's the first time I'd let him sleep in his crib. I had a whole room just made up for him. And that was when I lived in Marshallville. I didn't want to do it. My sister said, you got to let him start sleeping in his own room instead of right there next to you, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. So I did that. And in the middle of the night, I was in a dead sleep. Something came to my ear and said, your baby's suffocating. And I shot straight up in the bed and said, oh my God, who was that? It sounded like my own voice or perhaps my brother that had passed because his voice sounded like mine. And so I sat up in the bed and I said, oh God, man, wait in the world, you're crazy. And I laid my head back down and said, oh hell no, I got to go in there and check on my baby. And when I went in there, his blanket was twisted around his head five times. So I took him and put him back in the bed with me. And the next day I told my sister, don't ever tell me what to do again. And so after that, I was always over watching him all the time, but I always wondered who was that that told me my baby was suffocating. Woke me up in the middle of the night. Yeah, that's terrifying. I'm glad you're able to wake up and check on the baby. I know, right? I don't know if it was mother's intuition or it was an angel or it was my brother or what it was. And then like my brother-in-law, he told me that him and his friend was on the dirt road over here between Perry and Fort Valley somewhere, and there was this thing that came charging down the road on them. He said it was weird looking. He said it had a long tail that was colored like a coon's, and it was big as a big old timber wolf. It was huge, and it was running down the road on all fours, and then it veered off right to the time we got up close to it. But that sounded like a giant lemur or some weirdness. Those are supposed to be extinct. And then he also said that he saw a large rectangular shape object in the sky. And then when I looked it up, it said it was a reptilian UFO with the windows on the side. He was in the middle of a pine grove. It just quietly flew over the top of his head. So that gets it. I think that's everything that I can think of. But if I forgot anything, I don't know what it'd be, but I just wanted to tell you about all that. Okay, Joy, I appreciate you for sharing all that with me. Why do you think the Sasquatch were around your property, and why do you think your family members experienced it as well, and your friends and the people surrounding you and your community? I think that they were there because of the creeks. And we had all these farm animals. It was out in the country. We had watermelons and cantaloupes. apple trees, peach trees, fig trees, chickens, quail. And then this neighbor up the road is a wealthy German man. He had brought these Russian war hogs in and released them. But we were seeing them even before that. And, you know, I don't know. I think they just like to watch people. You know, they don't want you to know they're there and they're watching all the time. And if you don't know the signs, you don't even know they're there doing all that. Just weird stuff happening. You know, there has been some negative energy, you know, around that property at our house. You know, there's been a lot of fights, fusses and arguments and, you know, a few violent things going on. You know, my daddy was a pretty strict, you know, he was an enforcer. My mama was too, you know. so and then my daddy you know every now and then he'd come he was what you call a spray drink would come home and show out you know once or twice a summer so i feel like we were kind of like entertainment for them you know and other than that maybe they're attracted to some of the negative energy you know but sometimes they're i hear people that are attracted to them and there's no negative energy so yeah i don't know yeah i agree with you they're following the waterways seeking out food sources and they're interested in watching people we are their entertainment yeah that's what i think they just like to watch and see what's going on what are they doing today well look at this one sleeping that's the one that got a butt tore up yesterday oh that's the young one uh-huh and they were young too that one that was looking in the window at me he was young he wasn't an old one he wasn't big enough to be an old one you know which and the juveniles are the one that get into the trouble and stuff that throw the rocks and do all kind of stuff you know i think that the grown ones that's pretty serious yeah absolutely which encounter was the most memorable and which one did you get the best look at the creature i feel like when i was going down 230 highway the one that i saw on the hill mile marker 28 six days before my daddy died even though all i got was the back view I got to see just how big they are what color range I mean I wouldn't even have thought of that kind of color I mean if he was standing next to a pine tree you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between him and the pine tree because that's the way his coloration was it was like a camouflage but I'm not saying that they might disappear or do some weird stuff because me and my friend had went to this pond up here in Warner Robins the one that I used to go on the excursions with my neighbor's brother. We went over there to the military college. There's this pond over there, and then there's woods on the backside of it. I'd been there by myself before, and as I was sitting there, I heard a pig squeal. He was screaming, and then all of a sudden his wind was shut off, and it sounded like a gorilla grunted. So I was like, what? That sounded like a Sasquatch killing a pig. And so, you know, I got him to go there with me the next time, and we're sitting there, we're checking out the pond and stuff, and there's this old dead tree and it's got like a V in it. And there's something black up in the tree. It looks like a little, like a Sasquatch, a smaller, a younger one or whatever. But he was pretty far away. But you could tell he was sitting up there in the V of that tree. And I looked at my friend. I said, let's start sending some telepathy. Let's tell it to come over here. We want to communicate. And we looked at each other and smiled because we had fun doing stuff like that. And so we started looking at it and we started thinking that. And then all of a sudden, right behind us to the side, this whirlwind started kicking up. And it had like dry leaves, and it was clicking so loud. And it was going so hard and so fast. And then all of a sudden, this cop pulls up with his brights on, and it falls to the ground. That was one of the things that was really weird. That's what makes me wonder, you know, about the woo-woo part, you know, the paranormal part that people talk about. Yeah, absolutely. There is a supernatural side to it, and there's just a lot that we can't explain as human beings on this planet. I am running out of time, unfortunately. I'd love to ask more questions, but instead of me asking more questions, is there anything else that you'd like to add? anything else that you forgot oh just only one more story and that's it one night my mom sent me home she was in the nursing home to check for the guns my daddy's guns well I went up into the house and there was nobody there of course and my best friend was in the car she had a broke shoulder from a hoverboard and I left the door open and I went into the house and I looked for the guns and they were gone I opened up this closet and I was hit with this static electricity which freaked me out and I was like what in the world was that and then I heard her screaming all of a sudden she was screaming bloody murder and I run through the house and I got in the back door I'm like what she was screaming so hysterically man I couldn't do anything she's telling me come on come on shut the door there's something trying to get me there's something trying to get me oh my god get here now and I just slammed the door locked it slammed the door and jumped in the car and she was yelling at me telling me don't you ever leave the corridor open like that again it was coming for me it was coming for me I'm like what was coming for you she says it started all the way down the highway you know there's tall tree pines on each side and it was clicking and it was clicking and it's clicking and it got closer that got closer and then it got in the car with me and I was freaking out because I couldn't move because my shoulders are you wouldn't hear the door was what up in this dark hey get me up out of here but that happened and I'd never seen her like that before. That's like where I get the woo-woo part of the Sasquatch. She says, I swear it was an invisible Sasquatch. I'm like, what? Yeah, that is interesting. I've heard of people talking about this clicking noise and it reminds me of the Predator or something. That whirlwind had that clicking noise in it. There's three little dry legs. There's no way they were making a clicking noise out loud. But I think that's everything that I can think of. I'm running late. All right, sweetie. Well, I'm going to let you go then. Okay. If you want, we can talk again another day. Well, that's fine. Just give me a call. Give me a shot. Send me a text. Okay. I don't check them all the time, but don't give up. You know, just keep calling or texting. Okay. And I appreciate it. I just don't stay on the phone all the time or the computer or check my emails. That's all. But I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. And I really enjoyed listening to your encounters. And I definitely want you to know that I believe you 110%. and it's just amazing to hear other people's experiences and what they went through. And after a while, you realize how similar they are, but at the same time, each person provides a different piece of information that you didn't know about. So I definitely learned a lot from your information. There's a lot to go through, and whenever I edit the video, I'm definitely going to have a lot of questions and definitely pique my interest. So if I think of some more questions, is it all right if I write them down and then call you and we can talk about them and maybe put it together with this podcast? Yeah, yeah. Okay. I'm like you, though. I like to hear everybody's stories. I don't ever tell people they're lying. I just like to gather stories. I like to tell them. I think that the world is so mundane and boring, our reality. And don't get me wrong, I'm scared now. You know, I'm scared of that. I'm not trying to get up close on a Sasquatch or anything. I don't mind seeing it from a distance. The other thing was I saw a dog man a year later after I saw the Sasquatch on Elko Road at Mount Olive Baptist Church. You know, I'm a rubber knicker. I love riding the country roads and going down to my hometown and stuff. But I was just riding. I wasn't thinking about anything like that. I passed by this church, and there's a graveyard right behind it. There's a fence. It's dead of winter. Gray briars. between the fence and the briars on the other side is a dog man. He is solid black. He has hair on his head like a chow dog, sticking straight up. Every muscle in his back was defined. He had arms like a man, shoulders like a man, a back like a man. He had long curved claws. He was solid black. A lot of people say that they're inky, that, you know, you can't, they don't reflect sunshine. He was shining, and you could see his muscle structure and stuff. It was daylight. But he was pushing those briars back, squiggling in between the fence and the briars by the graveyard. I thought, what in the world, man? I don't think I'm losing my mind. I've seen a Sasquatch, and now I've seen a dog man. And then, of course, you know, I've had a couple of friends tell me the dog man stories, you know, seeing them at the cemetery, the graveyard. or one that was pushing a buggy homeless saw one that looked like a greyhound. That's here in town in Warner Robins. So anyway, I know you got to go, but give me a call if you got any questions or anything else. And if anything else happens to me, I'll text you, but I don't expect anything. You know, this is a cumulation of years and decades, you know, so. Absolutely. And I appreciate you for being a guest on the channel and for sharing your experiences openly. And you did an excellent job. So I'm really proud of you. and I'm happy that you got in contact with me. Alrighty. Thank you for calling me. I never expected it. Absolutely. Thank you for listening. Yeah, it's no problem. All right. You have a good night. Yeah, you too. Bye, Miguel. Bye, Joy. Take care. Joy's story isn't just about one encounter. It's about a lifetime of interaction with something that seems to exist just beyond our understanding. From a scientific standpoint, her experiences line up with patterns reported across North America, territorial behavior, vocalizations, tree knocks, and physical evidence like tracks and structures. These aren't isolated incidents. They follow a consistent pattern that researchers continue to study today. But there's also another layer to her story, something deeper. From a biblical perspective, some would interpret these encounters as part of a larger unseen world, one where not everything that exists is meant to be fully understood by man. Whether you view these things as undiscovered creatures, something spiritual, or something in between, Joy's experiences raise questions that challenge both science and faith. Why her? Why over decades? Maybe it's proximity, maybe it's awareness, or maybe some people are simply more open to experiencing what others never will. One thing is certain, stories like this don't come from imagination, they come from lived experience. And in places like rural Georgia, the woods are never as empty as they seem. I really thought Joy was very genuine and you could feel the emotion and terror in her voice. This tells me that these are real experiences and she never missed a beat when she was relaying her encounters If you enjoyed this episode, please like the video subscribe to the channel And if you have a bigfooter cryptid encounter you would like to share with me here on Sasquatch Theory Feel free to reach out sometime at Sasquatch Theory at Outlook.com With all that being said, you guys be safe out in the woods
