Summary

Haley Bishop from Squatch Fishing Outfitters shares multiple Bigfoot encounter experiences from expeditions in North Georgia mountains, including thermal imaging sightings, physical evidence like footprints and fingerprints, and nocturnal campsite incidents. She discusses how these experiences transformed her from a skeptic into a believer in Sasquatch existence and the organization's public expedition offerings.

Insights
  • Direct field experiences with unexplained phenomena create stronger conviction than theoretical belief, fundamentally shifting investigator worldview and behavior
  • Sasquatch investigation operates as experiential tourism with dual appeal: outdoor recreation with friends and genuine cryptid research curiosity
  • Physical evidence collection (footprints, fingerprints, thermal imaging) combined with behavioral observations suggests systematic documentation approach to cryptozoology
  • Fear response during encounters often overrides investigative objectives, even among dedicated researchers actively seeking such experiences
  • Community-based investigation model (Squatch Fishing Outfitters) enables public participation while maintaining safety protocols and data collection standards
Trends
Cryptozoology shifting from fringe hobby to organized expedition-based tourism with commercial offeringsIntegration of thermal imaging technology into amateur field investigation practicesExperiential tourism combining outdoor recreation with paranormal/cryptid investigationCommunity-driven data collection model for unexplained phenomena documentationAnecdotal evidence aggregation as methodology for pattern identification in cryptid behaviorInterdimensional or non-physical explanations gaining consideration alongside flesh-and-blood creature theoriesSafety-first protocols in high-risk investigation activities (key fobs, group dynamics, communication systems)Social media as primary recruitment and communication channel for niche investigation communities

Granger. For the ones who get it done. I am Haley Bishop and I am part of Squash Fishing Outfitters. I have been since 2022. I was on their first expedition with them and been with them ever since. And since then, we've racked up quite a few interesting events. One of them I would like to go into detail about is one fall. I had seen one on thermal. You know, we had went up to the North Georgia Mountains. And you know, everything was going like it's supposed to. You get there, you set up your camp, and got to know everyone. So we were about to go out and just see what we could experience. And at the time, there wasn't really a lot going on. And so we didn't really know how the evening was going to go. But we had picked this four service road. And at this time, it was already dark. And so me and a group started hiking up there. And about, I guess, a half a mile in, we would stop. Kind of scan surrounding areas, you know, and then keep going. You know, we did that a couple of times. And then we got to this one spot where someone had picked something up on their thermal on the right. I would say, I guess, about a one or two o'clock angle. And it was up on the hill. And so Scott was looking at it on a thermal. And Scott is one of the leaders of Squatch Fish and Outfitter. And Nate, he was looking at it on a thermal. And it looked like, you know, they said it was peeping in and out of a tree, like from behind a tree. And so Scott handed me the thermal to see what they were talking about. And, you know, I could see it peep around the tree and then go back into hiding. And then like three seconds later, I saw it take off running. And it did about two or three good arm sways. Like you, you can see the arms and the legs and it disappeared behind trees. And it was kind of, I would say, maybe a hundred, 200 feet away. And like you could, you could tell that it was like a humanoid shape. But, you know, we, that was on the right side of the road and it was heading to the left. So it was heading towards the road. And, you know, all I can remember saying was it runs like a man. And at that time I kind of wanted to get out of there. So Scott always would tell us that if you're out here and something happens, you should never run because that makes you pray. So then I started speed walking as fast as I could. He kind of had to reel me back into the group. But I was just afraid that it was just going to follow us. And, well, I'm pretty sure that's what it did. That night, I was still a little bit shooken up from it. And that night around 3.30, I heard this really loud metal bang. And that's what woke me up. And I was sleeping in a tent at the time. It was October and it was pretty chilly. So I had Mr. Buddy heater on. And that kind of casted my shadow. So if I moved, something outside would see it. So I tried to stay as still as possible. But I got woken up by this loud metal bang. And it almost sounded like a metal trash can hitting the side of the car. I couldn't really tell what it was other than maybe something was trying to get into the metal bear box in that general area that I heard it coming from. And so I just laid there. And I could hear metal crunching and popping, almost like something really heavy had gotten on top of the car. And I just laid there and I kept listening. And then after the crunching sound, I could hear very loud percussive footsteps. And it wasn't like something on four feet. It sounded like two feet, like boom, boom, boom. And whatever it was, was coming closer and closer to my tent. But I laid there and I kept listening. And I didn't move like a single inch. And when I heard it getting closer to my tent, that's when I heard it sounded like a fingernail. How it would sound if you scratched the outside of a tent. Well, it sounded like something was scratching the outside of my tent. And it sort of went all the way around my tent. And by the time it got to the door, I was waiting to see what was going to happen. And I was clutching my key fob because, you know, they said if you hear something outside at night and you get scared to press it and it will all come out running. Well, I had it in my hands. I just didn't want to press it because I was afraid of what might what happen. And when it got to the front of my tent, it let this deep exhale out like a, but deeper. And after that, I heard it get into the camp kitchen. Like it was opening and closing the grills and everything. And at that time, I was extremely tired. And I was just like, you know, whatever it is, just have to get me. I have to go to sleep. And I ended up falling asleep. And the next morning, we looked around the campsite and there was a creek behind the campsite. And past that creek went up into the mountains. And how we had our cars parked. It was almost acting as a barrier from the creek. And we kind of got over there looking. We found a wet like a footprint in the mud and measured it. And it was about 17 inches. And then all over Sheila's Jeep was these greasy fingerprints. We took pictures. We lifted the prints. And they were, I would say about three times the size of my thumb. And when you look close at it, you could see that it had normal ridges like it had a fingerprint. But just to backtrack just a little bit. When I heard the metal bang, after that, I had heard what sounded like a mix between an owl and a coyote howl. I couldn't place that sound on any one creature. It just sounded like either an owl or a coyote or both. And it was this howl like I can't even try to repeat. Yeah, that's the end of that experience. The next experience that I had was with Squatch fishing outfitters. See, I don't go out into the woods by myself. It's always usually with them because I feel safe going out with them. And after the things we've experienced, I definitely won't go out by myself. This episode is brought to you by Progressive Insurance. It was about 8 or 9 o'clock and everyone had already packed up their stuff and headed deeper into the mountains to do their little hiking expedition. And so I was going to get to the camp and set up my tent and have it all ready for them when they got back. And I got out of the car and it was just really dark and the vibes were just off. I was looking around with a flashlight and it was... I just did not feel comfortable pulling my tent out and putting my focus on that. And so I stayed in the car and I waited for them to get back. And as I was waiting for them to get back, one of the trees across the campsite, I could see what only I could describe as a orb, like a pale white orb, hover from out, like, from out behind a tree and then slowly fall into the ground and disappear. And honestly, I could not tell you what that would have been other than an orb. Then everyone started showing up, you know, got out. And then Michelle, one of our friends, she said, you know, it's been raining a little bit. You don't need to set up your tent and get it all muddy so you can stay in the pop-up with us. And that night, you know, nothing happened. The next day we went and did what we were doing up there and then that evening, you know, we settled in and then I stayed in the pop-up with Michelle. And I honestly could not tell you what time it was because my phone was dead, so I didn't have a watch kit and tell what time it was. But everyone was already asleep and this really loud scream woke me up. And at first, I thought maybe it was a mountain lion because their screams can sound like a woman's screaming. But whatever this was was probably 20 or 30 feet away from our pop-up, like right in the middle of camp. And it screamed like a woman and then it went off into this gibberish, like almost like if you'd heard the samurai chatter. That's what it sounded like. It sounded like it was frustrated or it was trying to speak. Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I couldn't point to one specific thing. And I tried to get Michelle to wake up and she was just she was out cold. And so no one else heard it but me. But it definitely it woke me up from my sleep. And I couldn't get to sleep for quite a while after that. There is this one other time and this is in the same location as the last story. We were up there and we had split off our team. I was staying at the campsite with Sheila, Michelle, Danny and Austin. And then Scott took the rest of them further into the woods to go hiking. And so we were just hanging around the campfire trying to keep it going. Michelle, she won't let a fire go out. So she was out there. She was popping and cracking limbs and sticks and trying to get a bunch of firewood for us. So we were just sitting there talking. And all of a sudden we started hearing branches break. We heard one from our on our right side and then one to our left. And then something started throwing rocks at Austin who was the only male in this group. They were about the size, I guess, slightly smaller than a golf ball. These rocks were and they were all zoom and past us going straight towards him. And I guess whatever was out there didn't like that there was a man with all these women. And then, you know, we kept hearing these branches break off in the dark. We were shine a light. We couldn't see anything. And we tried to use our walkie-talkies to get in contact with the other group. And they had already died. They were fully charged when we got out there. And they were just dead. So we couldn't get a hold of the other group. And during all this Austin had seen a blue orb off like past where our cars were. And he said it was about, I guess, the size of a basketball and it was like he was moving. And then we heard a growl come from that same area. And after that we were ready to leave. Like normally when you start hearing growls, it's time to go. They're getting tired of you. So they just getting close to midnight and we were making our plans to leave with or without everyone else. And we were trying to wait as long as we could. And then we saw the group come back around the mountain. And then we were able to pack up and leave. But that experience there was just a lot going on. And there was this other time. I was with the hiking group this time and we, going down this trail. And it was late at night. And the frogs, the cicadas, everything were just, they were super loud. And we got about maybe a quarter mile down that road. And we were about to turn around because you know we weren't seeing anything. We're hearing anything. And you know the nature was just really loud. But then just as we were about to turn around, we heard the whole forest get quiet. Like it was strange how it went from so loud to so quiet. And then out of that quietness we heard this single like whoop sound coming from down the trail. And up the hill. I would say maybe two or three hundred feet. It was a little ways but it wasn't that far. And it just, it whooped again. So we decided to turn back around and go back towards our other group that was waiting by the fire. And the further away we got from it, the sound didn't get any quieter. It sounded like it was keeping pace with us. Like it would continue to whoop. But it stayed the same volume. So we figured that you know it was trying to follow us back. And you know there has been times where things have followed us back. We get up to where the other part of the group is sitting. And we asked them if they heard that whoop that was coming from our direction. They said no. But we heard a whoop from the opposite side. So I don't know if it was trying to communicate back and forth like surely you know they knew we were there. But it was strange you know hearing that there was you know possibly one here and then one over there as well. And in this location we had also had rock stone at us. Like we had it was like this big hill and then we had all the cars lined up beside it. We always face it outwards. So if we ever had to get back in the car and go we could go. And we were just sitting there and you know rock would roll in. And you could hear you know rock hit the car. And Sheila at the time she had a slingshot. And she wasn't trying to aim at where it was coming from. It was almost like this playful thing going on. She would get you know a final little rock and then aim it kind of in the opposite direction. And that went on for like a good 30 or 40 minutes. If you work in university maintenance Granger considers you an MVP. And as we were getting ready to leave, on the side of the hill, we found a river rock rolled in red clay. And it was sitting on her, not sure what you call it, the metal overhang of her wheel. And we found that pretty cool. Maybe almost as a gift, like, you know, hey, thanks for playing rocks with me or something. And we all thought that was kind of cool. She has that in her carry-over cabinet to this day. I do have this one other story. We were out riding four service roads and we were fairly close to a certain part of the Appalachian Trail. So we decided to get out and start hiking. And so we started hiking down this four service road and we were going to turn and go through this field and get to the Appalachian Trail. And, you know, we had our thermals going and everything. And we got to the field and the field is sort of on an incline. And where this hill is, you couldn't see the trees over it. All you could see was, you know, a backdrop of the sky. And we saw something on the hill. It looked like it was slightly over the hill. You could see it sort of peeking out. And it would raise up. And then it would sort of crouch back down behind that hill. And I did that multiple times. And the times that it did, you could tell that it had, you know, distinctive head and shoulders. So we decided to walk up there and check things out. Couldn't find anything. Although when we came back the next morning, we could tell right where we had seen it. It had left a little surprise for us. Probably the biggest little surprise I've ever seen. You know, we tried to document a lot of things. I know quite a few of the people that were there have had pictures, size comparisons, all that might even have thermal imaging pictures. But that was one instance. But the times that I looked through the thermal with the sky as the backdrop, you could definitely make out the head shape and a shoulder shape. Like both shoulders standing up and then crouching back down. Right around that same area, we were out hiking doing what we do. And the team had spotted something off to the left at this rock. And they're trying to figure out what it was, you know, if it was another forest animal. So we had a couple of thermals on it and there was a really big rock off to the left. Probably about, I don't know, I guess he's safe. 40 or 50 feet. And you could tell something was peeking up from behind it. And Scott and one of his friend's sons decided to go walking towards it. Because sometimes, you know, if we see something out there, he'll try to start walking towards it. So someone with a thermal can kind of see it run off and see what it is. And so that's what he was going to do. So they started walking towards it. And as they did, it sort of disappeared. And they were out there, they couldn't figure out where it went. And Scott, he had turned to his right and he saw something crouch down. And he said, when he shined his light on it, it looked behind him, across his shoulder. He put his hand up to block the light. And then it looked back and kept doing what it was doing. And he said, it looked like he had caught something, like it was eating something. And Scott said, you know, he got really unnerved because normally things get up and run and this thing wasn't. It was staying in his ground. And so he, him and his friend's son started to back out slowly as possible. And now is one of the more intense moments. And I do have one other story and I haven't really told this one because I wasn't really 100% sure. But we were driving from one hiking location to the next. And you know, I was looking out the window and just, you know, enjoying nature. And we had went around this big curve and down in the valley. It looked like a shape was sort of forming. I was almost questioning what I was seeing. But like there was still leaves in the valley floor, like, you know, brown and dead leaves and whatever this was, looked cinnamon in color. And, you know, it looked like the shape of a big foot. And then I figured, well, if it's just how the light is hitting it, then by the time we make it around this curve, it will have changed. It'll look different, you know, if it's just shadow play pretty much. But it didn't. The shape stayed exactly the same. You could see the head and the shoulders and it was just staring like right at us. And you could tell as we went around this curve and went up, it was like its body was kind of turning with us. Like it was watching us, but it wasn't like moving. And, you know, I was pretty kind of quiet at the time. I was kind of shy. And I didn't really yell it out or anything. I just like, you know, I think I see something, but I guess they didn't really hear me. They kept driving. And so I just kept watching it. I'm not really sure what I saw, but I figured if it was just a trick of the light, it would have changed with the positioning of the sunlight and everything. You became a member of Squatch Fishing Outfitters in 2022. Had you wanted to be a Sasquatch investigator for some time before that? Or was that more of a spur of the moment type of thing for you? No, honestly that was like a spur of the moment kind of thing. All my life, I mean, I was into ghosts, but I wasn't into Bigfoot or any other cryptid things. I barely knew anything about it. And I was looking for pretty much just people to go out and go camping with because I wanted to get out there and enjoy nature. I was just tired of waiting for the right people to come, so I thought I would find them. And then my aunt one day, she showed me a Facebook post of Scott and Sheila and they were doing their very first expedition. And she thought I'd be interested in it, but I don't think she thought that I would actually take it seriously. But with how I was sinking at the time, just wanting to just get out there, I took it. And so here I was, you know, a young girl traipsing off into the middle of the woods to meet random people. And I always told them, you know, I guess, well, if they were serial killer, I could just turn around and leave, I guess. If you work in university maintenance, Granger considers you an MVP because your playbook ensures your arena is always ready for tip off. And Granger is your trusted partner, offering the products you need all in one place from HVAC and plumbing supplies to lighting and more. And all delivered with plenty of time left on the clock, so your team always gets the win. Call 1-800-GRANGER, visit Granger.com or just stop by Granger for the ones who get it done. I was trying to take that chance, that risk to just get out there and meet people, you know, because I'm sure that there's a lot of people there that, you know, like hiking and camping and wanting to be out. And I was just trying to, you know, broaden my horizons. And I wasn't really opposed or turned off to the idea of Bigfoot. I thought it was kind of interesting. And so, you know, I wanted to give it a try. And on the first expedition, they were like, we're adopting you now. So we met a lot of good people. Yeah, sounds like you did. Yeah, both Scott and Sheila, they are good people. So I'm glad you're able to hook up with them. Now, Haley, there's definitely a difference between thinking that Sasquatch might be out there and knowing they are. After seeing them more than one time, when you're laying in your tent all by yourself late at night, are you laying there more with the mindset that, oh, there's Sasquatch out there possibly, or more so, oh, there might be Sasquatch out there? Well, you know, it's all fun and games until you see one, or you see something that you can't explain, and then it sort of turns your world upside down. You know, when you're younger, you believe in everything, and I'd gotten to the point where I didn't really believe in too much. But then when you get out there and you start seeing things you can't really explain, it kind of changes things for you. And when I saw that thing on the thermal, you know, it was a humanoid shape to it. You know, it looked just like, you know, the profile of a bigfoot, taken off from tree to tree. And it was set on, our thermals were set on white hot, so this figure was completely white. You know, if it was someone with clothes, sometimes you can tell a difference between their skin and the clothes, but this figure was like completely white, you know, white hot. And I remember there in my tent, I was actually dreaming about it before I got woken up, I guess because it kind of got etched into my mind. You know, in my dream, I was seeing that white figure off into the woods, and then got woken up by the loud bang. I bet that really got your motor running. Yeah, it did. Well, you all bet. I don't doubt that at all. Now, when you saw that cinnamon colored figure when you were driving, he said it was downslope from you. How sure are you that it really was a creature, and not some inanimate thing like a log or something? Well, the only reason why I sort of take that as a sighting, I don't say it very often just because I'm not 100% sure, but it was an upright figure. It wasn't like it was laying down. And if I'd seen it just from one perspective, I would probably have just written it off, but we were moving, and normally maybe if you see the light creating something that looked like something else, you know, if you go around the corner and you change your perspective of it, you know, it would change a little bit different, but this thing didn't, and it looked like, like I could see the shoulders in the head, and I could tell like it had a little bit of gray on its face, but it was mainly cinnamon colored, and it looked like, you know, the whole body was sort of turning to stay face towards the car, but it wasn't moving any other part of its body. I appreciate your reluctance to jump to conclusions, but playing the devil's advocate here, if it was a creature that was cinnamon colored like that and seemed to be turning to follow you to watch you as you were driving down the road, if it wasn't a Sasquatch, what could it have been? Honestly, I have no idea. Other than an extremely brilliant trick of the light, I wouldn't know. Well, I've got my own opinions about that from what you describe it. I think you saw a Sasquatch, but that's just me. It's just me. Please tell us one thing that most people don't know about what it's like to be a Sasquatch investigator. Well, a lot of people, you know, they think, oh, we're going to go out there and we're going to see all this kind of stuff, but a lot of times it's not really the case. You know, there's been multiple times that we've been out there and literally nothing has happened. Granted, we have a great time, have great food, but you know, you're always kind of, after you get a little bit of a case, you always kind of want a little something to happen, you know, you don't want to be so scared you don't want to come back. But it's always kind of exciting thinking you're going to learn a little bit more about the unknown, but it just doesn't happen every time. It's got to be almost like a drug. It's almost like you can't get enough of it, it sounds like. Yeah, well, some people, they get, you know, they experience something and they never want to go back into the woods and then other people, it is like a drug where they want to keep going back out and it's a curiosity. And I guess I haven't been scared enough. There might be one day where I don't want to set foot back into the woods, but it hasn't come yet. But I definitely view going out into the woods differently now before, you know, when you think, oh, it's just bears and mountain lions and coyotes and all that, you know, that's one thing. But to know about this whole other, you know, whole other side of things is different. And I always wanted to hike the Appletch and trail by myself. But after all this, I'm highly reconsidering that. Like I definitely won't go out there by myself. Yeah, that might be a good thing because I'm pretty sure that not all Sasquatch are friendly. Yeah, I've heard quite a few stories that will make you question, you know, what side, you know, big foot are on, you know, good or bad. Well, I think it's like anything else. There's a balance. You have good ones. You have bad ones. So, yeah, you come across the wrong one. You could have trouble. You really could. When you had your first Sasquatch related experience, you wound up trying to speed walk away from the Sasquatch, you said. After having that experience, did you ever contemplate throwing in the towel with regards to your investigations or did thoughts like that never cross your mind? Yeah, I, after that, I didn't need a little bit of time before I got back out there, just because, you know, I wasn't really sure what had happened and I needed time to process that. And just sort of, you know, remembering the detail and trying to work through it all to make some sort of sense of it helps. And there's still a lot of questions that I don't have answers to. And I've always wondered, you know, if I had, you know, peeped out of my tent what I would have seen, but I was honestly too afraid to move or make any noise. And in a way, I'm kind of glad I didn't look. See, that right there is something that in a way I can understand it, but in another way, I guess I never will. You've got people who spend untold amounts of money to go into the field and try to seek out Sasquatch. Well, I mean, I've heard case after case after case where investigators like that wind up having an experience where there's a Sasquatch right there, such as right outside the tent. But they're so afraid they don't want to look out there. But that's why they're there in the first place was to have a Sasquatch encounter. Now, again, human nature is human nature. It's what it is. And I get it. I understand when fear takes a hold. Yeah, I can understand having a situation like that. But what are your thoughts on that? Were you frustrated because you were there to investigate Sasquatch, but you're so afraid that you couldn't look out the tent again. I don't blame you. I understand it. But I'm just wondering, were you frustrated? Yes, I was pretty frustrated. But, you know, when you're in a situation like that, you think you're going to do one thing and then something else happens. And all I can say is that when you're scared, instincts override curiosity. Oh, no doubt. Yeah, I mean, like Mike Tyson said, everyone has a plan until they get hit. And you got hit that night. If you've had a Bigfoot sighting and would like to be a guest, please go to BigfootIWitness.com and let me know. Call 1-800-GRAINGER, visit Grainger.com or just stop by Grainger for the ones who get it done. Did Scott and Sheila know the Sasquatch wasn't camped that night while it was messing around with your tent or were they dead to the world in oblivious? They were in, see, I was in a tent and they were in a camper. So when you're in a camper, you can't hear as much as you can in the tent. And when I go out camping, I sleep very lightly. Normally I'm a very deep sleeper, but when I'm out there, I don't feel comfortable enough to fall into that deep sort of sleep. And so I think that's why I woke up so easily. And I was hanging on to that key fob and I often wonder if I'd hit that, what would have happened? Because they always said, if you need us, hit your key fob, make your car alarm go off and we'll come out, see what's going on. But on one hand, I didn't want them, if it was something dangerous, I didn't want them walking into it as well. Now, if it had started coming in onto my tent, I would have hit it. But, you know, I had, to my left, I had bear spray, I had a knife, I was running through all these situations where, like, you know, if it started coming into my tent, am I going to spray it? Am I going to knife it? What am I going to do, you know? But it was, all I did was just stay as still as possible and I don't know if it's because I couldn't move or because, I mean, all I was doing was just laying there shaking. Oh, I bet you were. Yeah, I can't even imagine the thoughts that must have been going through your head. And understandably so. When you go out on investigations with Scott and Sheila, do you have radios where if you needed to raise them, you could without using the key fob, or you just strictly use the key fob if it's an emergency and you don't have the means to do that? Well, normally we have walkie-talkies and we'll use those when we're out hiking, like from the group that stays at the camp and the ones that go hiking. There's only been a few times where I've had a walkie on me, you know, laying on and ready to use in my tent. Normally because I try to stay close within everyone. I don't like to be, you know, off on the far reaches just because I feel safer, you know, closer to people. Well, I think it's awfully admirable. You've had more than one frightening experience out there, but you keep on heading back into the woods. I mean, most people would have thrown in the towel a while ago, but not you. You keep heading in. And like I said, that's awfully impressive. Well, like I said, I haven't, I guess I haven't been scared enough yet. Now, I've been scared, but I don't know, I guess it's just going to take for something to get me while I'm out there. I don't know. But it's definitely, you know, a curiosity factor because, you know, I came in not really knowing anything about Bigfoot or Cryptids. And, you know, you start learning about one thing and it kind of leads you, you know, down this rabbit hole. And I've been trying to be very, I've been trying to be very picky about sort of rabbit holes that I go down. I mean, I want to keep a very unbiased opinion. I want to go out there and make my own opinion of these experiences. You mentioned rabbit holes. When you go on these outings, do you have the mindset that you're trying to investigate creatures that don't have any special abilities, or do you think they do have abilities above and beyond a normal creature? Well, from what I've experienced, I believe that they do have some sort of abilities that we are not quite aware of. Like, you know, there's always, you know, the separation between flesh and blood or interdimensional or different, you know, something different about them. And while they leave physical evidence like footprints, fingerprints, hair, and you can hear them and everything like that, there's also, you know, these other times that, you know, where the footprints disappear. And then there's a lot of times where, you know, you see when there's orbs as well. And I think energy has a lot to do with these creatures, but I'm not exactly sure how or why. So, I mean, that's just the conclusion that I've come to. There are a lot of credible eyewitnesses out there who've reported seeing these guys do things that are just exceptional. Things that a normal flesh and blood animal would never be able to do. So, it really does make you wonder. It really does. Now, when you go into the field with swatch fishing outfitters, do you do some more to enjoy yourself out there in the woods, or more so to learn all you can about Sasquatch? Well, I, when I go out into the woods, I really, number one, I do it just to be with friends, be out in the woods and just put my phone down and be present because, you know, with how things are these days, it's very hard to be present. And that's one thing I really like about going on these expeditions is that it just really grounds you into what's happening. But also, you know, the curiosity of it all, you know, I've always loved to explore. And this feels like, you know, breaking new grounds. And, you know, who knows what you're going to find or experience each time you go out there. I can definitely understand those sentiments. I mean, after all, a bad day in the woods beats a good day in the office any day. So I get it. I really do. Do you ever get so hung up on the investigatory side of outings that you wind up forgetting to just enjoy yourself out there? No. Each time we go out there, I really enjoy myself. Now, if we had a certain encounter that was pretty rough, or very perplexing, it can sometimes put a damper on things, but also, you know, that's what you're out there for. So it can be a little bit exciting, even though you don't think you have, you know, any new pieces of data. It's just another story to add to the pot, you know, to... It's like these little pieces that we hope can come together to one day see the big picture. And I think that's really the key to figuring a lot of this out, is, you know, taking all these little pieces and then, you know, seeing what picture it's making. Well, piece by piece, it sounds like you guys are putting the puzzle together. Now, I know a lot of people listening to tonight's show don't realize that Squatch fishing outfitters doesn't just do field investigations by themselves. For people who want to have an experience themselves, they can also accommodate those people as well. What more can you tell us about that, and how someone who wants to go out with you on an outing can do so? Well, we're on Facebook and under Squatch fishing outfitters, and, you know, they can contact Scott or Sheila if they want to go. We have, you know, a few spots left this year. And for the people that don't think they can do this, they don't think they can hike, you know, there's been people that can't really walk that well that go out with us. You know, we, that's why we kind of split off. As long as you can get in the car and get out of a car, you're pretty, pretty good. We're not really that far from our cars. The places that we pick, granted, are deep into the woods, but we're always right by our car. And so if you don't want to go hiking out in the woods a couple of miles, you can always stay with the group that stays around the campfire. If you work in university maintenance, Granger considers you an MVP because your playbook ensures your arena is always ready for tip off. And Granger is your trusted partner, offering the products you need all in one place from HVAC and plumbing supplies to lighting and more. And all delivered with plenty of time left on the clock. A lot of times the people around the campfire get more activity than the ones hiking because it seems like they're very curious creatures. And the more you just sit around and you talk and you make noise, it seems to draw that curiosity. It's funny how that works, isn't it? It seems like in a lot of cases when you sit around the fire, you have better luck than the people who head into the woods. But then again, it seems like if you want to have an encounter, it's best just to let them find you instead of trying to find them. So, yeah, that's just how it is. You've got an expedition coming up. When were can you tell us about that? Well, we have one coming up in two weeks. It's going to be an expedition with Maria Mayor and Russ Accord from Expedition Bigfoot. We're taking them and about 12 people out into the woods for the weekend and we're going to be their hosts. And we'll see how it goes. I'm very excited to learn from them and what they'd bring to the field. So that's very exciting. I've been planning for weeks, getting everything ready and all that. We also have one coming up in May. We've got a few others throughout the year. And if anyone's wondering about going out with these people, but you're not sure how it would be to interact with them, trust me when I tell you, this is my first time interacting with Haley, but I've interacted with Scott and Sheila before. All of these investigators are really nice to talk with and to interact with. If you're concerned, if you're going to bump into a jerk that's on the outing, you shouldn't have to worry about that at all. They're really nice people. Having said that, Haley, I can't thank you enough for coming on to share those experiences with us. I really appreciate it, Den. I'm going to have a link. I'm going to get with Scott and Sheila and I'm going to post a link to advertise that expedition at the end of the month. It's May 1st through the 3rd. I'm going to have a link posted in the description for tonight's show so that anyone who's listening who wants to go, if they still have any outings, that is, you can just follow that link to get more info. But having said that, like I said, thanks again so much for your time and have a great night. And if you've had a Sasquatch encounter and would like to be a guest on the show, please go to BigfootIwitness.com and submit a report. We'd love to hear from you. Thanks for listening. Have a great night.
