Summary

Hosts Deebo and Joe discuss major NFL free agency moves including Tua Tagovailoa's $99M dead money release and signing with Atlanta, Mike Evans leaving Tampa Bay for San Francisco, Kenneth Walker III signing with Kansas City, and Lindenbaum's record-breaking center contract with Las Vegas. The conversation explores contract negotiations, team strategy, and the financial implications of roster decisions.

Insights
  • Teams strategically absorb massive dead money contracts when coaching changes occur, viewing it as necessary cost to reset organizational direction and avoid long-term quarterback mismatches
  • Star players at career's end prioritize competitive opportunity and fresh starts over financial maximization, even when it means relocating to higher-tax states
  • Championship-contending teams invest heavily in offensive line protection and running back depth to reduce star quarterback injury risk and improve game flow consistency
  • NFL teams with significant cap space demonstrate willingness to spend over $1B in first 90 minutes of free agency, indicating league-wide financial health and competitive urgency
  • Minority ownership stakes like Tom Brady's with Las Vegas Raiders provide strategic influence over personnel decisions and long-term organizational planning
Trends
Dead money absorption becoming normalized strategy for teams making coaching/QB transitions rather than keeping underperforming playersVeteran skill position players prioritizing winning opportunities over tax advantages in free agency decisionsIncreased investment in offensive line and run game support systems to protect elite quarterbacks from overuse and injuryRecord-breaking contracts for interior offensive linemen reflecting positional value inflation in modern NFLMinority ownership by former star players (Brady, etc.) creating advisory roles in personnel strategy and draft decisionsTeams spending record amounts in opening hours of free agency window, suggesting earlier planning and cap managementQuarterback market volatility with franchise QBs being released after short tenures due to organizational misalignmentFacilities and environmental factors (weather, field conditions) becoming secondary considerations in player free agency choices

Two. Two what? Two what? Hey, I ain't gonna lie. He cooking. He's still cooking. he's definitely cooking hey he's still cooking they said they scheduled to release the uh um to a tonga by law post uh june 1st designation so by them cutting him they are going to take a record dude 99 million dollars in dead money split over two years like dude he plans to sign with Atlanta, I guess, once he was released. Like, dude, how bad do it got to be for them to say, you know what, man, we're just going to take this here to this 99 and let you go over it? That's what I'm trying to figure out. Somebody give you $100 million to go home? That's crazy. Take your ball and your $100 million and go home, Roger. like how bad can it be so that's why when we look at these contracts of like oh yeah tour back in the day like oh yeah they signed up a 250 he's like yeah come on give me the money now two years later they're letting him go and giving him a hundred to go with his ball like for for me as owner i don't care i i can't bite a hundred million for you to go take the ball like i don't know i You got to be, it has to be something so bad. You kind of got to bite that because you just hired a new head coach. Okay, no, no, for sure. You got to bite that one. You got to bite that one because he's saying, you ain't about to stick me with this and then tell me you go fire me in two years when we don't do shit. I'm just looking at it as an owner-wise. So you would have just kept him and just made him just stay there and come to work. You asked me if I own the team. I can't give somebody $100 million down the street. That just doesn't make sense. That's a roster spot, though, that you need, Joe. He's still going to be on the team. I don't care. If he's getting 100, he's on my team. I don't care. He's going to do something. He's going to be doing something. Because I'm not giving you 100 not to do nothing. I can't. Even if they don't have him on the team, he's on another team. Are you paying this? No. No. Just for my mental state. Joe, you can't take up the roster spot, Joe. You got to let it go. No. Joe. His ass backup quarterback for 100 million. You going to make him practice squad? Yes. And keep him there for the 99? You only do it for a year, I think. I didn't get nothing. You didn't do no practice squad. They could have did that. You get nothing for him. And you pay him. 100 million out of two years. Joe, that's going to look so petty, though. I mean. Now we worried. Now we worried about being petty? I'm trying to put myself in the honesty without being petty. And I can't. I'm with you. It's not your $100 million I'm paying. It's my $100 million. You let me be as petty as I want. He going to have to do something. I don't care if you... His ass is cleaning the fucking facility. Something. Hey, you doing something. You doing something. Hey, I don't... It's clearing. Every other Tuesday, that joint's on his seat. For the bag. And then he went to the Falcons. What are they going to pay? like what he's going to the Falcons? They going to pay him 1.4? I think they say like 1.3, 1.2, something like that. That's what I'm saying. That's your boy Stefanski over there pulling, I don't know what your boy over there thinking, man. I don't know. He thinking that's going to be the fill-in until Penix get back from that. The thing is, he realized at the end of the day, he was, not knocking him, Tua, love Tua, but the concussions, him being a little smaller, him not being able to be as, like, when I see Tua run now, I get a little spooked. Because I think, get down or you're about to get your head, you're about to get your bell rung. Because he's a little loose necked when he starts running out there. He's been put to sleep a lot. Loose neck? What's loose neck? He got to work on his man. Hey, listen. He has to work on his man. Now that you said that, this is something a lot of people don't understand. It's like neck circumference has a lot to do with concussions. The bigger and thicker your neck is, the least likely you are to get concussions. So y'all need to work on that neck strength, man. But you know, when somebody falls deep, Bo, and they just fall, boom, and you got a strong neck, you're not letting your head snap back. Right. If you go like this, bomb, and you let your neck just go crazy, you're putting yourself to sleep. So my thing is, I'm looking at Tua, and I'm like, all right, they know he was a franchise quarterback. They wouldn't have gave him the $250 million if they didn't think he was being a franchise quarterback. So I'm looking at the Falcons. That was just in 24. They're guaranteeing, what, 160? That's what I'm saying. When you get a man that's making that guarantee to 160 and you could get him on your team for 1.4, we're talking about deals and steals. I'm not mad at Kevin Stefanski for that at all because you got another team paying them $45 million and you have him on your team for 1.4. So you have a franchise quarterback for the low, low, low that they were trying to get rid of. People have worse backup quarterbacks on the team. So if I'm still fancy, I'm not mad. I'm not mad at it. I would have done the same thing. But my thing was with Tua, how much longer? I just don't really. Tua for the 1.4 is better than Tua at the 100 and take your ball and leave. So if he's still in the league, he's still a professional, I'm taking him at Atlanta for 1.4. Okay, hold up, Joe. I got a scenario for you. I like to get scenarios. I'm a scenario type of guy. So, you are a journeyman type of player. You make good money, but you don't make great money. Okay? So, you make, you know, about 50 over your career. Yes. You get you a couple, you get you four Super Bowls. Four Super Bowls in that process. Man. Yeah. I'm making a difference. Who are you talking about? I'm just saying. This is you. I'm just saying. This is the process. I'm putting you in. It's a scenario. Putting you in that place. Or you end up like Tua getting cut, not being, not having nothing, but you got $160 million. Which one are you taking? Honestly, I would take probably I would do the 50. If I had four Super Bowls, Debo, I might take four. I'd take the four Super Bowls, for sure. What if it's one Super Bowl? One Super Bowl. So they basically asked me, is one Super Bowl with $90 million? That's what you're asking me. I'm telling you one Super Bowl or an extra $110 million. But you consider the bum now. Consider the bum? Yeah. You don't just let nobody go with $100 million if you ain't considering them a bum. You're correct with that. You're correct. And you'll probably take it, Joe. Tell me. One ship, 50 million or no ships in 160. And they calling me a bum. Calling you a bum. I'm taking that bread. They calling you a bum and you a snitch and you telling on people. See, you always telling people ain't showing up at the meetings. I'm just adding. I'm just saying what it is. No, man. I'm going to go ahead and take that. I'm going to go ahead and take that 160. Joe. I ain't never been. Money, Joe. Money to rule the all evil, man. Ooh. Ooh, man. I don't know what that is, Joe. Hey, how about them dudes? Don't talk to me. How about them dudes that are selling their Super Bowl rings? How about that? Listen, they might be out of their mind. That Super Bowl ain't keeping their lights on. So they get a little bit jacked up and they had to let that thing go. Listen, I would sell mine for the right price. And you talking about me? Joe, listen, I still won the Super Bowl. Listen, Joe, I won the Super Bowl just because I sell somebody the ring that want to overpay just to have the sentimental value of putting it on their finger. If they're willing to pay what it is, I'm willing to give it up for. hell yeah. You can't take away my Super Bowl. You can't take away your Super Bowl. I understand that. You're correct. What is you talking about? Just like you can't get a Super Bowl or get no respect or you can't lose the tag of being a bum or a snitch or all that other stuff. It's not me. You're talking about me too. I'm just saying. Listen, I don't need to wear it on my finger to see. I don't got a ship. But niggas not calling me a bum. That's for sure. That's what I'm saying, Joe, you going to take that? You going to take the 160 instead of the hardware, Joe? Why you had to call the man a snitch, though? You just threw it everything. No, I was just saying. He said that people wouldn't come to meetings and he was dropping names for me, but I'm just saying. Hey, Joe. You want one of these for the right price? I'll sell you one of them. See? Nope. I don't. It's not mine. I send you this one because it goes with the jersey that I got for you. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, send it with the jersey. Uh-huh. I can't stand you sometimes. You so cool. You so funny. Hold on. Let me make sure you can see it, Joe. There you go, Joe. There you go. It's a pinky ring. Hey, Joe. Here, let me show you this one. This one right here. Go, B-Bo, go. Listen, Joe. This one right here. This one got six of them things in there, Joe. six of them things in there. This one only got five. But anyway. I like that one more. You like that one more? Yeah. Listen, that one right there, to sell that one, boy, listen, you thought giraffe pussy was high. They ain't even got nothing higher to do. The charge I'm going to get for that. You're going to need some of that dead money. Hey, I'm going to need some of that dead. Uh-huh. Okay. Listen, listen. My kids got one. One of my sons got one. One of my sons got the other one. And then one of them got a watch and some other stuff, whatever, you know, AFC Championship stuff, you know, you know how it goes. Yeah. Yeah. You know, when you win in the playoffs, you get things. Oh, you don't? Oh, never mind. All I know is when I got, yeah, I got a hat and T-shirt, though. Oh, you got a T-shirt. All right, that's good. And you got a hat, too, right? And a hat. That's good. Yep. That's good. You get some hardware? Nah, I told you what I got. You got a national championship, don't you? Hey, would you sell a national championship ring? SEC championship, all that. I got, yeah, plenty of rings. Would you sell your national championship ring for the right price? No. Okay, what if you was down bad? Yes. Okay, that's what I'm saying, Joe. What are you talking about? Sometimes, like, you can't knock somebody for selling a ring, because sometimes, a lot of times, you know, it's a situation that may have popped up where they need to, you know, you know how to go. No, no, no, for sure, for sure. Does that really say, I'm not knocking, but I'm just saying, you talk, Super Bowl is so important. I'm like, it's not, because it's the winning of the game. It's not the material of the ring. Okay. It's the winning of the game, right? It's not the ring itself. Okay. I ain't going to say it don't mean nothing to me, but it does mean something. But anything that is a item, that is material. It's material. They can't take the championship. It's in books. in the history. Can't take that. The one. Okay, you can't take that. Respect. And then, you know what they did? As soon as they did that, they said, hey, we're going to go and drop another $67.5 million and we're going to get Malik Willis as our quarterback for the Dolphins. Joe. How much money is it? Well, they got that bag in Miami, don't they? That's what I try to tell people all the time. Everybody want to ask. And they got the best facilities, bro. And their facilities fire. And they got a club in their stadium. No taxes, bro. And they got the club. I forgot about the club. They got a pool, too. You walking to live. You in live. Watching the game is crazy. Miami got it popping. But this one I try to tell you, D-Bo. This one I try to tell you. Don't let these people fool you and say, oh, we don't have no money. Oh, we don't have no money. How the hell you don have no money you can give away million to a nigga not on your team and then bring in another quarterback and give him million That million for somebody not on your squad Like, I don't want to hear that. Manipulation, roster things, all of that stuff, all of that making money guaranteed is possible. So anybody talking that craziness, oh, no, we don't have no bread. Look at Miami. Look what they just did. How did they go sign the quarterback and still have $100 million in debt? Oh, they also let Minka go there and trade Minka away. They had to find some money. Dude, look, look. Traded Minka away. Where do you go with 50 a year, bruh? It's just dead gone. That's what I'm trying to tell you. And you like this. Yeah, you can't have him stay there. I'm like, no, no. I mean, they took it on the chin, like some real ones. We picked the dude, gave him the bread that is not the guy. And they just didn't stand in their own mess. Joe, I'm going to find something for him to do. I already told you what I was doing. You were looking at me crazy. He's not leaving the facility. You're going to work for the Dolphins for the next two years. You got to work off that 100, man. You got to do something. I don't care if you just got to show up. Because you're not being there and me still having to write that check every week is crazy work. But they did it, though. They took it on the chin. Like, look, we made the wrong decision. We're not just going to keep trying to make it better. Well, they only did that after they got rid of the coach that made the wrong decision. So they went on ahead and got rid of everything. Smart move. But I just, yo, 99. I'm cool with the move to get, you know, malignant. Segregation in the day, integration at night. When segregation was the law, one mysterious Black club owner had his own rules. We didn't worry about what went on outside. It was like stepping in another world. Inside Charlie's place, Black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it. You saw the KKK? Yeah, they were dressed up in their uniform. The KKK set out to raid Charlie, take him away from here. Charlie was an example of power. They had to crush him. I'm Anna Navarro, and on my new podcast, Bleep with Anna Navarro, I'm talking to the people closest to the biggest issues happening in your community and around the world. Because I know deep down inside right now, we are all cursing and asking, what the bleep is going on? I'm talking to people like Julie K. Brown, who broke the explosive story on Jeffrey Epstein in 2018. These victims have been let down time and time again. for decades and decades and decades by local law enforcement, by federal law enforcement, by administration after administration. The Justice Department, through I think we counted four presidential administrations, failed these victims. Listen to Bleep with Ana Navarro as part of the My Cultura podcast network. Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm good with that. Great with that. At the price, that was way cheaper than what, you know, we were thinking like he might get 30 a year. You know what I'm saying? What is that? 24, 25, something like that. 22 something. 22. Okay. Yeah. So 23, 22, 23. So yeah. Um, I, I like the fact that for the team, for the dolphins. Yes. This is a great, great pickup. 20 under the $30 million mark. And it was supposed to be between 20 and 30. You got him like 23, solid. And everybody else, like from what we were looking at, I think Malik is going to be a good quarterback. It's going to be a good chance what he did with Green Bay. So I'm rocking with Miami because they're showing that they still, after they gave out the 100, they still are ready to get, they still are in the mix. They still are like, all right, quarterback is the most important position. So if we don't have that, we don't have a chance. And the new coaches like this, y'all can't just, all right, we got rid of, that was all y'all mistakes. I'll take him Malik. I like him. This is going to be my guy. I think that's good. Halfley and Jeff Halfley. Halfley and Sullivan, they were with him in Green Bay. They actually worked with him. He did a lot of the scout stuff, I guess. They were there. They seen it. They got comfortable with him. Like they said, he said they have good relationships. That was automatic. They stayed low pro with it, though, too. They wasn't even up there loud with it. They didn't even say nothing about possibly just letting Tua just get out of there with a hundred. They know it's loud. It's loud. Everybody. Right. Bro, remember, signing for a hundred used to be the thing. Dang, that man hit him for a hundred. He hit him for 160. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, back in the day, back in the day, it just, bro, that's strong arm robbery, bro. Bare face. No mask. No mask. Hello. Raw daylight. Give me that honey. I'll see y'all later. Then put his shit back on the left as he jumped in his Lambo. Give me my money and I need it now. Or his wraith and his ghost. That's two different colors. Ooh, see. At least you got it. At least you have a desk. Two different roses. I can't tell the difference. It's hella money to me, Joe. One's a two-door, one's a four-door. Oh, you got to have one that's two doors and one that's four. What the hell is the difference, Joe? You know what I'm saying? Oh, one's a wraith, one's a ghost, one's a spirit, one's a host. Oh, there you see, you know. And the big boy, the cullinant, you know. different. You know, D-Bo, you know all about it. You act like you don't know, but you know. Bruh, I don't know nothing about it. I'm listening to the chat. The chat telling me everything I need to know. Mm-hmm. That's all. I look at the chat. The chat go tell me what's going on. The chat know what the color in there, rose. Oh, my goodness, yo. Yeah, yeah. Look here, man. Who else we got? Mike Evans is leaving Tampa Bay, bruh. He signed a three-year deal with San Francisco that could be worth up to $64 million. His agent, though, said this was not about money. He said the Buccaneers were extremely aggressive in their pursuit and presented a very strong offer. In the end, the decision came down to Mike wanting a new challenge and a fresh opportunity while he still feels like he has a great deal left to give the game. Joe? Yes. What do you think? Do you think it was the money or do you do you think he just was like, yo, it ain't go it ain't gonna be it over here. You think he is? I mean, I think he's been there for a while. He's been there for a while and he got the right for change of scenery. When you become free, like if they didn't say they didn't sign them going into that last year. when you give a player the chance to become free and be able to see their options, be able to look and see what other teams that they can go to and just want to switch it up. There's not really too many chances where you can control your own destiny. And then Mike Evans, in the end of his career, knowing that he probably can get another three-year deal. And you can get $20 million a year playing receiver at 30-some years old and trying to go to a team where you feel like it gives you the best chance to win. And maybe not that it's not probably a shot against Tampa, but being an NFL player, you having that right to be able to go wherever you want. It has to be a shot because you've been there your whole career. Like, and I think it's just a shot because he's at the point right now, he's going into year, what, 13? Yeah. And I think, you know what, man? He sat back and he's like, man, I'm going to year 13, 32 years old, man. and I want to give me a Super Bowl maybe. I thought he already had one though. He didn't win a Super Bowl when Tom was there? Yeah, he did. All right. So that's why. So that's why right there, brother. I don't. That's why I'm like, maybe he wants another one. I don't know, dude. I don't think it could be the money because he's saying they gave him a strong offer. And you decided to go to San Francisco, California of all places, the taxes and leave Florida with no taxes. Bruh, it it got to be something way more than just a change of scenery, bruh. Like you have just said, I don't see it being able to be done here. And I want to get back to Chip. And I got to make this move. because I'm not going from Florida, no tax, to California. They, hey, dude, they taking, they taking, if you get all 60.4, they taking 30.2 right now. Yeah. And then they taking an extra five or 10. I hear you. I hear you. I hear you. I don't, I think that man, I don't think he was worried about the taxes. I think he was worried about trying to get I think he thinks that they like he already won a Super Bowl with Tampa so he don't owe them nothing and just like I just think it's really just a change of scenery and I think he thinks he can go get one out there exactly so that means where I'm at so you're saying is that a shot at Baker Mayfield or is it a shot at the organization I think it's a shot at the whole organization I mean, when you look at it, I would take it as a whole shot at the whole organization as a whole, because one person ain't going to win you a championship. Yes, that position is going to help you greatly as long as they're good at it. But you still need offense, defense, specialty. I think he was like, yo, he looked at the whole thing and was like, I don't, I'm not going to California, bro. I might have to just sit there and eat that. It depends how strong the offense, man, I can't. you are thinking about the taxes he is thinking about the weather and how there's no it's not humid out there he's going to be relaxing and chilling and you like this they're taking your money I know what you're saying I'm just letting you know from a lot of dudes I've been talking to they're 49ers in San Fran it's California it's the weather's great now listen you over there in San Fran next to all that oh lord next to the messed up all that other stuff next to the messed up facility that's messing up people's knees. Okay. Tearing up ligaments, tendons, all that. Weakening them. Stop, bro. Come on. And you older? Like that. I ain't making that move, bro. I'm going to stay right there in Florida with that hot ass weather. Nah, I ain't going to lie. If it was you, I know where you're staying, Mike. I'm not mad at him, man. But look, that facility thing is crazy. Yes. The ACL thing with all of that? It's a real thing, man. It's a real thing. MF signals, that's a real thing. I showed you my thing. I showed you my meter and all that. Yeah. They need to get it. They have all that bread out there in Sennicon Valley. They got to move that facility away or something. That's crazy. No question, man. Get over here to your boy, Kenneth Walker III. Yep. Signed over there with the Chiefs. MVP signing over there with the Chiefs. Joe, they spent some bread on him, man. They spent some bread on him, some bread that they ain't spent at that position in a while, man. Why do you think they did that, brother? Because that's what winning teams and championship teams go to do. They think they need a piece. The offense, too, the running game with Hunt and with Pacheco hasn't been as consistent as it's been in the last probably three, four years. so they needed a legit running back somebody where Patrick Mahomes back there getting running around trying to ad lib all the time if he could just hand the ball off a couple of times and know boom like we can steady the pace we can steady the ship I can actually do a play action because they're respecting that Kenneth Walker can actually take this joint up the field so I think that the the Chiefs are understanding they have they ended up signing Travis back you know I saying for the 12 incentives up to 15 So got him back He solid Pat still there Then they got them a running back So I think with the Kansas City Chiefs, they just always knowing, like, we got Pat, okay? Okay, we still got Trav. What we need to do is give him a running game. Don't make Pat be Superman every single time because he can do it, but then he start getting hurt, start looking crazy, start running around. Like, let's protect him. And when he got to do it, you know what I'm saying? He'll have to pull it out. But let's not make him do it all the time. So just being able to have that running game behind him where he's chilling. Sometimes he just handed it off and 20-yard game. Next thing you know, we're up the field. We're chilling. It's a pace that they can work with now to where he's not just always, man, it's second and it's third and 12, Pat. You better scramble, make something happen, have to avoid dudes and do all of that. So I think it's just good teams trying to help out their team. They know what they need. They know they were lacking in the run game. Pat needs help there. So just trying to help out their team and get them as good as they can. So with this pick, I like the way they did it because if you're a good team and you know you just need that, go pay them maybe a little bit more and get you what you need. So I think they went and got what they needed, and that's what good teams do. Yeah, I'm feeling that they just – what's your boy? I can't say his name right. The P. Pacheco. Pacheco. Pacheco was free, I believe, in 24. I think he missed all of but, what, seven games in 24. Then he missed about three or four this year. And I think they was just like, you know what? We need to go with something else. We need to go ahead. And he's free on top of that. I said that before. And 25th ranked rushing game. It was like, yo, we just seen this dude, like, basically carry the whole team over here through these playoffs. Yeah, he led the team in rushing a couple of times, bro. Hey. 25 and young. Young, moving. They said, you know what? Let's go ahead and give him a three for up to 45, 15 a year when it come down to it. They had to make a move. He was doing good too because he was splitting time with Charbonnet. That wearing tear is not as crazy. Yes, but now he might get all these opportunities. Now he's not hitting the bell cow. Now it's going to look like it was during the playoffs when Charbonnet got hurt. He got all the totes, and you see he was a Super Bowl MVP. So he can handle it. Oh, yeah. No question. No question about it. Do a threat, too. He can catch the ball a little bit, too, though. Yes. Yes. Oh, he over there with Pat. That's going to be ugly. That's going to be ugly, and that's what's going to be. That's going to be pretty ugly. As long as he ain't playing against us, it's going to be pretty. then it's going to be ugly if we got to chase this chase this man around though yes that ain't gonna that ain't gonna be good listen I'm so happy I am so happy right now for the Raiders no I'm actually more happy I'm happy for both of them I'm happy for the Raiders and I'm happy for the Ravens I'm happy for the Ravens because they lost somebody that they they shouldn't they shouldn't have let go okay what is it Lindenbaum Hey, he is going to the Raiders for a historical contract over there. He agreed to a three-year $81 million, brother. It includes $60 million in guarantees. And the average value is the most ever for an interior lineman, bro. I'm so happy for you Ratbirds because y'all shouldn't have got Crosby. But I feel good that you're losing something. because when you go and you take something that shouldn't have been yours, you need to lose something. I'm also happy for the Raiders, because now they possibly won't be getting their ass. Well, Gino possibly won't be getting his ass to out the frame. 64 sack high last year, the highest of all. The man was running for his life. and then when he couldn't run for his life, they was just cutting it short right there. I think the Raiders, at that point, they had almost $110 million in cap space, number one, so they got the bread. I think this might have Tom's hand on it. He's like, yeah, we got to go out here. We got to get something to protect these boys. They're going to get a quarterback too, though. I think they're going to get a quarterback. I don't know who it is. Man, I think they get the number one pick in the draft. They're going to get my man from Indiana. if they get him they got I think it's gonna have to be Tom's approval man I think Tom might go get him I don't know they got the number one pick they got a center they would have somebody to protect them they got a gente they got a nice tight end they got some picks they got some bread I mean if he likes Geno Smith and he thinks that could be the guy for sure but if they had the number one pick and he thinks Mendoza could be the quarterback then I mean We definitely have to have Tom's hand on it. You think Mendoza can come in there and do better than Gino right now? I don't know. I don't know. That's... Yes? You say yes? Maybe. I mean, why not? dude what's wrong we got a bad connection something because you just doing the stutter shit again no so you tell right you telling me this dude will come in here and be better than Gino right now that's crazy Joe no he's not he's not he's not but look what you know what you're gonna get from Gino so what you're gonna do you you just gonna be I'm gonna get him a couple more offensive linemen and then worry about the quarterback position a year later down the road or something. I mean, you might have to get smacked a couple more, you know, a year or more just so you can make sure you get that number one pick. See, that's what I'm saying. You just putting Geno in there to fail. Hey, listen. We just gave away $99 million to one person, man. Somebody got to pay for that across the league. at the T-verse that 99 might have to be Gino no no no how much what's Gino's deal how much longer Gino with uh I don't know man he better he better get out of there before it be short you supposed to be the contract man Joe tell me hell hold up I want to see I want to see man does I want to see what he do for real man because me too especially like with like if he he going 1-1 1-1 like the Raiders got picks too they got two first for Crosby so like that's one this year one next year mmhmm they gonna be alright I think I think Tom Brady might got a long term plan with this cause you gonna go get you a highest paid center I don't have a long term plan right two for 75 million April 2025. I'm telling you right now, man, you don't make Tom Brady a minority owner if you ain't using every bit of his intelligence and intel that you can. His hand is in everything. For sure it is. So all you people that want to say, hey, Tom is just a... Nah, man. His hand's in all that. Definitely he's in all of that. And he might be fighting Logan Paul. Because he's scared of Le'Veon. Paul is. He's scared of Le'Veon. He definitely. Le'Veon not playing. Le'Veon got information. He has all the receipts. You know what I'm saying? He's ready for war. I would love to. He ducking. duck duck goose that boy over there playing duck duck goose with no goose just duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck lady on ain't the goose now segregation in the day integration at night when segregation was the law one mysterious black club owner had his own rules we didn't worry about what went on outside It was like stepping on another world. I think coming out of where I came from, I'm from the Bronx. I think I grew up really poor. I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life. And I'm like, my mom did a really good job of like, you step back and you're like, whoa, we, I don't know how we made it. So a lot of my life was like built out of like survival to get to the next place. Like my drive, my like tunnel vision of like, I got to be better. I got to achieve this was off the strengths of like, I want to make a better life for us. I'm Anna Navarro, and on my new podcast, Bleep with Anna Navarro, I'm talking to the people closest to the biggest issues happening in your community and around the world. Because I know deep down inside right now, we are all cursing and asking what the bleep is going on. I'm talking to people like Julie K. Brown, who broke the explosive story on Jeffrey Epstein in 2018. These victims have been let down time and time again for decades and decades and decades by local law enforcement, by federal law enforcement, by administration after administration. The Justice Department, through I think we counted four presidential administrations, failed these victims. Listen to Bleep with Ana Navarro as part of the My Cultura podcast network. Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Joe, man, them boys, they say they spent over a billion dollars in 90 minutes as soon as free agency started this year. They spent over a billion dollars in the first 90 minutes. Blam! Yep. That's what happens though, D-Bo. They got money. Teams got money to spend. Hey, do that 99 count against that billion? No. I don't think so. No, because that contract was already what it was. That's just dead. I'm just checking, man. That's just dead. That don't even count. That's just dead. Dead. So I ain't gonna lie to you, man. If it wasn't, for my love of the game, I could probably take the 160 and be considered... Be considered trash? Trash. I just... Listen, man. I got my daddy name. I got my daddy name on my back, man. Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. After that 160 and everybody was trash, all that, I don't have to be on the internet. I don't have to be. You're going dark. I'm going dark. I'm just cool with me and my people. Like whoever's my homies that got my direct information, we're kicking it. And guess what? We're having a ball doing it. Mump all the other people tell me I'm sorry. Get out of here. I'll buy you a drink. Get out of here, kid. You got me messed up. If I'm two of you, I don't care what these people think. Who are you? Are you going to keep my lights on? Are you going to pay Deebo's Wi-Fi? No, you're not. So go home, Roger. That's what I tell all of them bums. Straight up. Go home, Roger. Oh, man, man. Straight up, Deebo. Don't let all them people, man, listen. Y'all is not my head. Listen, I don't know what it is. Y'all is not my lord. I don't know what it is, Joe. I want to say it's pride, but it's not pride. I think it's responsibility. I mean, man, you know, you get paid to do something. You should do what it is that you get paid to do. Yes. Like, you know, and give them the service that you were supposed to be provided. But, I mean. What if they take your ball and tell you to go home for $100? Then what do you do? I can't let you take my ball. I shouldn't have been in that position to get my ball took, Joe. how the hell I get in that position it not your choice it not your choice It their ball It their ball They taking your ball and sending you off Joe, I did that, though. You can... I can't live with that, Joe. I can't live... Joe, I don't know if I can live with that, Joe. See, that's why I'm like... I'm going to just do it. Well, if they did that to Tua, he's doing exactly what he had. He's going to go to the team that he... But he ain't ducking off in the cut and hiding. He ain't ashamed of this. He going to sign with Atlanta. Bro, okay. Hey, man, Joe, you know what time? Man, it's almost 1230-something, man. You know what time it is, Joe? Time for Play of Fame presented by Prosper. Go. All right, Joe, man. Look here, man. You done cooked up a lineup for us again right here, man. I'm going to go ahead and I'm either go play with you out there or I'm going to fade it. What you got here, Joey? Tell me why you got it and I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do with it. Okay. Houston versus Toronto. I'm going with, this is just Amon Thompson, bowler, over 19 and a half, along with Kevin Durant, over 19 and a half. These two right here are just easy money. Okay? Easy money. You know what that Red Devil mean? Huh? You know what that red devil mean? That means it's not supposed to be easy money. That means it's supposed to be a little bit harder, but I'm expecting him to get a bucket. I'm not putting it there for no reason. Okay. This is all researched. Okay, let's go. Victor and Mayana. With Mayana. Two assists. Because they beat... Every time out... There's too much traffic. He's 7'6 with good vision. He's going to dime off at least two tray ball kickoffs. Okay? Points, obviously. 23.5. He's standing next to the rim. Balls, then they too little. For sure. Bron James. They're playing against the Temple Wolves. I hope they win, but Bron with four and a half assists, Bron over four and a half assists, obvious. Bron's a passer. He's a slasher. He's a dimer. Luka scored 40-something the other day, and now he's going to have Anthony Edwards in there that he's going against, and Anthony Edwards going to go try to drop 30 some so Luka's not going to let him out duel him. Luka going to at least drop a 30 ball. So, I'm liking all of these to hit for the exact reasons I said. I ain't going to lie to you, Joe. The only one I'm tripping on, man. Who? Who you tripping? You tripping on the first one. You tripping on the A-Man. You tripping on the A-Man. You tripping on the A-Man. You know what, Joe, man? You got every right to trip a little bit on that one. That was the most gangster one I pulled off. Sigh. Joe, I'm going to go with you, Joe. I'm going to play. I'm going to play. I'm going to play with my homeboy because that's what I do. That's what I do. My guy says it's going to happen. I'm going to believe and trust in him that it's going to happen, okay? So make sure y'all download the app today and use the code DEBOJO to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 line. That code DEBOJO, what we got over here in the Super Chat. Likely to tight end. He go. She said Atlanta's pissed with Tua. I'm in GA and they're going to burn down the stadium. With Stefanski and Tua, they're pissed. The only thing they have going for them is that Julio signed for one day to retire. Okay. Okay. We are killing the rat birds. If Tua sneezed, he is in concussion. Yo, you so wrong. Like, hey. It's covered and just be throwing out. Hey, man, we need to get in butter. Like, yo, man, I ain't seen butter in a minute, man. I really ain't want to go and look and be honest with you just to see because I know he was over there talking to Goofy when they went and got, you know, when they got Carlsby. But as a matter of fact, I'm going to ask you. I'm going to go ahead and get in this. getting this DM because they did lose the best offensive lineman. And now, what are you going to do? Hey, brother, what you going to do now? Y'all done lost y'all. Y'all done lost your best offensive lineman. They lost the center. They lost their likely. They lost the tight end. And they lost their punter. Yes, yes. Hey, look here. Look here. And y'all still ain't apologized Ravens, old coordinator, you still haven't apologized to Lamar Jackson for you saying something that was not at him, but it was certainly directed in his direction. You need to apologize. 74 million right now. If I'm him, I want an upfront apology. I won it in person, and I wrote on a letterhead, Lamar, don't let him treat you as if you're a second-class citizen. You're Lamar Jackson MVP multiple times. You trying to get him pissed? Yes. Miss. Like, man, DuBois, you ain't that serious, but you know what? For them, man, Lamar, do not let this slide. Do not let this slide. You should not be going to like that. I mean, there he's been a crash and burn over there. Look here, man. Covenant Life back again. She said, y'all let me have some bail. What? Oh. Let me have some bail. It's on the chat. I'm like, whoa. Hold up. Hold up now. Hold up, Cody. Bell was in the chat. That's for sure. It's PG. She said, yay. It's that PG. She said, y'all know I have a name for everyone. And that's what I would call him. We miss Bell. Yes, we miss you, Bell. Yes, for sure. For sure. I thought I said something wrong. Damn, dude. I kept talking to Bell. Because you kept reading. He said, let me have some. I didn't know what happened there. Let me have some Let me have some Let me have some Okay Alright Okay At least the hearts Is black and gold If there was red I might have gotten nervous I don't know I was nervous when I said it Because I had to stop myself I was like yo Am I saying this Or is they saying this I felt kind of weird Saying it myself I just ain't know I ain't know Cut it life again Two dollars Thank you Oh weird You see that Liam 9087 Liam987 what up Debo and Joe what are your thoughts on double mug formations I think we should be more aggressive to keep offenses from double and triple teaming TJ and Arvis passing situations wow how in the hell do you think we're going to stop someone from double and triple teaming someone son and I'm telling you this darling I hope they double and triple teaming because then that's one on ones or somebody's open and if we getting three on TJ then Highsmith has to beat. Hey, you said Darling. Huh? That's Liam. Oh, that's Liam. Oh, my bad. Brother. That's why I said, son, how do you think we go stop them from doubling triple teaming somebody? We can't. What we do is make sure somebody else gets the job done because if we taking up two and three here, that means another man got to whoop a man. Every man whoop a man and what else, Joe? and every good man will two okay you can't stop nobody from doubling nobody talking about the double mug looks like when you put the linebackers up on the line I'm like but then it could make it look like zero you know what I'm saying D-Bo we're not we're not we're not built for double mug looks because of what they done did with the inside linebackers and where they gotta get in coverage we're not built for it we used to be able to do that not no more why Joe I don't know Debo why yeah exactly man uh Jonathan what is that Jonathan Holster 71015 yo Le'Veon is is Billy H-O-Tender what the fo you used to play Marvels with. All right. We'll let him know. I don't know what that is. You played Marvels? You mean Marbles or Marvels? What is Marvels? Do you know what Marvels is? Are we talking about the action? Are we talking about Marvels like Iron Man? Bruh, wasn't no Iron Man back then. I'm saying Marvels, though. That's a Marvels character. You sure it ain't Marbles? Marbles. I don't know. I don't even know how to play Marbles, but I know it's a Marbles game. I ain't know it was a play Marbles. Play with? I hate when y'all do this to me in the chat, man. Uh-huh. We could get Troy. but we'll let you know when that happens we could definitely get Troy we just don't know when that would be maybe for a good time we gotta pick the right time maybe if Logan Paul probably would call Troy out to fight him that's what I'm talking about Troy be off the map missing, chilling. That's what I would do. Then they give me that 160. Off the map, Debo. Hey. For me and my friends. I'm not, Joe, I can't, how can you live like that? No, I'm going to still be, I'm going to still be out. I still be out, but I just want to be online. Like that online, out. Okay, now you out somewhere, right? And they see you. Yeah.
