Dave Helling will be here just after the top of the hour. Want to get his thoughts as a long time Kansas City reporter, anchor, columnist, where this Royals Chiefs or Royals Kansas City deal goes from here. So don't miss that just after the top of the hour, but it is that time of the week. Let's roll it. It's time for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Well, even if you're not a fan, how do you not like or at least respect what happened over the weekend at the Masters with Roy McElroy winning back-to-back first time anyone's done that in golf since Tiger Woods in 2001 and 2002, and only the fourth golfer in the history of the sport to win back-to-back Masters. Joining Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo, and Jack Nicklaus. That is a who's who when you look at the Mount Rushmore of golf history. So it's beyond impressive. Mark, I don't think your parlay is over the weekend did all that well, correct? No, I hit it. You hit it? I think Scotty or Rory to win it. Oh, that was it. It was an either or. Oh man. See as much as I care, I knew that. Okay. So I was excited about that. That's a nice job. All right. I was excited for Mark. I turned it on at the end and I saw it and I'm like, hey, money for Mark. All right. Well, you know what, shame on me, Mark. I thought I had all your parlays written down, but they're hard to keep track of sometimes. It's all right. But you were texting me over the weekend about other bets you were making, so I guess I got them all confused. Yeah. The Bryson to get in the top 21 did not hit. He did not make the cut. He didn't make the cut, but okay. I did see that tune. I thought, ooh, that's news. Yeah. That's right. All right, Mark. Well, congratulations, big guy. Not as big of a congratulations as we'll give to Rory. Or a golf applause. Yeah. Or a golf applause. Either one. Yeah, there you go. Yeah. Very nice. Very nice. Very nice. There you go. But with that being the case, ah, there it is. So with that being the case, what I also love about golf that you really don't get in any other sport. Is after a guy wins a tournament and achieves, you know, something like Rory McElroy achieved yesterday, walks off the course. You know, his wife's there is daughters there. He's got his parents there. In team sports, it's not as much or not as big of a deal. I feel like as when you have an individual sport, a champion walks off, they win it. And right away you have that emotional moment with a family. Like we've seen Patrick Mahomes win a Super Bowl and yet it's cool. But there's just so much going on. There's so many people to follow. It's not the same in golf. Everyone's watching that one guy. They're watching him kiss his wife, hug his daughter, give the parents a hug after, you know, decades of sacrifice for their child. Like those things you just can't duplicate in team sport and it's really cool to watch that unfold. Yeah, it's cool. But the individual is actually responsible for the result. And it's not the effort of a few other guys too. Exactly. And that's what makes it so unique. And I just love watching those moments, maybe two as a parent. It's different watching those moments as well because it's something that most of us, 99.9% of us never experienced. Don't get me wrong. You come home from a nice day of work and you might get a hug from the kids. I mean, I do. Hey dad, but like the world's not watching you hug your kids after a great day at the office. Okay. I don't think they did that for you back in the heyday, John. Did they people lined up down the street? All I had to do is text. John's coming home. They make him a tunnel. He runs through the tunnel and high five the whole neighborhood. Right after a great soccer game. Put their hands together. Oh man, that just doesn't happen in real life. But when it happened in happens in golf, it's very unique. So congratulations to a Rory McElroy. The bad from the weekend. What happened at a Walmart here in Kansas City? 30 person disturbance at a Kansas City Walmart Supercenter near East US Highway 40 in Sterling Avenue. Really don't know what happened, but KCPD is saying dozens of people were involved in a disturbance and assault at a store. Now, when you actually think about that. 30 people. You can visualize five people, 10 people, maybe 15 people. 30 people in a disturbance at a Walmart. How do you get to 30 people? There aren't 30 people in two aisles at Walmart. What if people just come around the corner and start hearing the commotion and being like, you know what I'm getting in? It's like a baseball brawl. The bullpen runs in and they're just like, we're getting involved in this fight. We want to be here too, John. Not since the big screens went on sale on Black Friday. That's before Thanksgiving. We had a congregation. Yes, exactly. I'm just reading the story and then I'm trying to visualize 30 people in an all out altercation and brawl at a Walmart in Kansas City. And my head is hurting thinking about it. How you even get to that number. Like who gets so motivated by random people fighting that you decide to get in. If there's an altercation at Walmart, I'm going the other way. I'm not like, this is my chance. What is this? The WWE? What's going on around here? It's just such a bad look. But unfortunately the greater wasn't an MP. Oh my goodness. And now the ugly from the weekend. And there's a lot of different directions I could have gone with this. A lot of different directions. I think I'm going to go with the Kamala Harris. I'm going to call an audible here. Kamala Harris's Trump impression on Friday at Al Sharpton's National Action Network event. Show some R-E-S-P-I-C-T. Kamala Harris doing her Donald Trump mob boss impression is as cringy as anything you will hear all week long. He's pulled back because you know the way that he's thinking of foreign policy, it seems, is when he talks about America first, it's to withdraw from these relationships and these connections. And then he kind of rev acts like a mob boss. So then he's kind of like, well you know, you take Eastern Europe, I'll take the western hemisphere. And then you over there, you get Asia. And we'll just divide it up. Right? Oh my goodness. Cultural appropriation. Yeah, yeah. As someone who's half Italian-American, should I be outraged by this? I think so. That is as cringy first off as you could possibly be. And that is hard for Kamala Harris to top her prior levels of cringe. But she managed to do it. Regardless of what you think of her policies, I think it's important for people to have some level of self-awareness when they're running or holding political office. And if there's anybody who has never had an ounce of self-awareness, it is Kamala Harris. Holy smokes. There's your good, bad, and ugly.
