Stevie J discusses his legendary production career with Bad Boy Records, his work with The Notorious B.I.G., and his transition to television with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. He reflects on the East Coast-West Coast hip-hop rivalry, Biggie's death, and his evolution as a producer, manager, and television personality.
Insights
- Stevie J's production methodology involved receiving lyrical direction and song titles from artists like Biggie, then crafting beats around those creative parameters rather than pre-producing tracks
- The Bad Boy era represented a distinct cultural moment where production, fashion, and lifestyle were integrated as a complete brand experience, with Stevie J pioneering the 'bling' aesthetic
- Transitioning from music production to television allowed Stevie J to create new revenue streams and reach audiences unfamiliar with his production legacy, though it created a branding challenge
- Personal loyalty and respect for relationships supersede industry conflicts; Stevie J maintained boundaries during the East Coast-West Coast rivalry despite working in competing camps
- Building a diversified portfolio across music production, television production, management, and talent development provides financial stability and creative fulfillment beyond single-industry dependence

This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed human. Where every day is New Year's Eve. Let's go! Hey, hey, it's Secretary of the South B. It's your boy N.O.R.E. What up, it's DJ E.F.S. It's a drink test, what a fuckin' podcast. Make some noise! And first off, not only do we have one of the arguably best producers of all fucking time. Wow. In the building with us. We're also at what is Atlanta's only crab place. Because I've been to Atlanta. I think I caught crabs in Atlanta. But I don't know. Really? Yeah, back in the days. They find out, they find out. I gotta relax. But yeah, that was a relax. But we got, we got, who's arguably one of the people who crafted Biggie Small Sound. One of the people who crafted Bad Boy Sound. The original hitman? One of the people who, original. Original. One of the people who crafted Pop Daddy Sound, Mace Sound. Every, like, he single-handedly was the person that did that. And today, if y'all don't understand who we're talking about, right now, let's make some noise for Stevie J in the motherfuckin' building. Yeah! Because, see, a lot of people get it twisted. And they say, Stevie J from Love and Hip Hop. And I know you don't like that. Because you're making a lot of money. You're making a lot of money. I'm making some cool paper. Yeah, you're making some cool paper. But I know that it's like when somebody tell me, you know, Norrie from whatever, whatever. And I'll be like, damn, you can't tell me the war report. Right, right, right. You know, all the other accolades I did. And it's wonderful to see a person like you of your caliber continuing to do your thing. So now, my first question is. Okay. How was your approach to do Love and Hip Hop originally? Well, I was approached by Mona Scott. You know, she asked me. Directly? Mona? Yeah, she asked me if I was interested in doing Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. You know, being as though I just got off a hiatus of producing the 100 million records and four grand. Let's make some noise for that. He said 100 million records. God damn it. That's not how you, like, you ain't hear that, God damn it. Just said 100 million. Continue, Stevie. You know, you know, I just got back into Atlanta and I was, you know, rebuilding myself and I was looking for the look. You know what I'm saying? So when she called me, that was the look that I needed. I felt, you know, I reached a pinnacle in the music game. And, you know, the same catch that, you know what I'm saying? I made rich wasn't fucking with me. Which is not cool. It's not. It's not a problem to me. You know what I'm saying? Nobody owe me shit. And Love and Hip Hop was New York was already in place. Okay. New York was already in place. And, you know, but I was the first one to bring the two ladies to the table on the show. And we took my Mimi and Jocelyn. Yeah, Mimi and Jocelyn. That's a big deal. I just bring them to the table. I was fucking with them at the same time. Sexy time. With each other. You know what I'm saying? So when you look at all these dupe, we kid sing. Are we talking about menages? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Straight like that. I didn't know you was ready to go. We're all that early. Yeah, yeah. All right, thank you, Stevie. Yeah, absolutely. We brothers, we know it's over. Let's get over it. I know, I just did. You're going in. Check it out. Yeah, so at the end of the day, when you look at all the carbon copies and the stuff doubles and all that, I created that. I see that. Yeah, yeah. So now you came up with the famous Stevie J face. Was that something you did from the beginning? Been doing that. Oh, you've been doing that. Been doing it. Let's make some noise for Stevie J. I'm doing it. I'm doing it. Yeah, this is a good thing. That was all. No, I'm just saying. Because I'm one of the people that looked at it, and I'm one of the people that corrected everybody. Every time they was like, this guy is doing it for TV. I'm like, yeah, I don't know who he is. They had to dumb it down for TV. Yeah, yeah, exactly. You know what I'm saying? You know that I am. Exactly, exactly. Not the DJs, Stevie J. Shout out to DJs, Stevie J, and all that. You know what I'm saying? Right, right. Yeah, the Stevie J. Let's talk about that because I always wondered was you actually taking it a certain way because I don't take it no where. I look at it as homage, you know what I'm saying? Has he ever paid homage to you? Nah, you know what I'm saying? But hold on, we talked to you. The John M. of the DJs, Stevie J. Yeah, we talked to you. We talked to you, you know what I'm saying? We hung out and everything was cool. Everything is gravy, you know what I'm saying? Much respect to him. There was no homage paid, though. I mean, it was homage paid. A little bit. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? I don't feel like you were satisfied. I mean, you know. I can just look at you. Guys like us never satisfied. But at the end of the day, we'll take that in, you know what I'm saying? You know these younger guys, we just got to take a week and get in, keep it pushing. We made guys, we put that work in. I respect that. So let's now bring it to early Biggie. OK. Now, Puff tells you, I got this guy named Biggie. Does he say Biggie Smalls? He said Biggie. Biggie, all right. And he says, I got this guy named Biggie. Now, you look at Big. And he's not a traditional rapper looking. I think Puff came on our podcast and describes him as disruptive. Yeah. Definitely disruptive. He said he looked at what was disruptive. It makes so much sense. Definitely disruptive. So how did you know to give him these classic upscale beats? Because the way he would describe what he wanted to do, how he wanted to approach life after death, he would just say words, he would just spit rhymes, and be like, girl, I need something that feel like this. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like armed and dangerous. Ain't too many can bang with us straight up. We know angel dust, label us notorious. Fuck ass niggas that love to bust us, playing to us. Are we describing the bone thugs record right now? That's what we're describing. Like, you know what I'm saying? It's like, you know, he would give you what he wanted to sound like. You know what I'm saying? A couple of lyrics and let you go there. Prior to you even having to beat. Yeah. Wow. So you would produce around his, right? Yeah. Most of the time, you know what I'm saying? He'd just be like, yo, I need something for like, somebody got to die. But you said life after death. Didn't you work on ready to die as well? No, just life after death. But those life after death. I came into life after death. And then he would just give me titles of songs, and I would go in and just. Of the title. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Tell him off. Tell him off. That's all. So wait, wait, wait. He would come to you and give you titles, and then tell you to work around that. Yeah. Nasty boy. That's good. You would work off the feel of the title. Yeah. That's great. That makes a noise. That is it. I'm going to be honest. One time, we paid for a man. Whatever a man was asking for a price. And I paid for a man up front. But I couldn't get a beat that I loved from him until I actually gave him the title. But I had no idea that I was following in this tradition. But I'm saying that's how we really, you know, producers really give us a title. And we like, you know, we like producers and we like scientists. We want to go out and create the formula, you know, designated to the title that you give us. Like the feel of whatever they're trying to do. It has the sound just like the feel. So how did you and Puff initially connect? Me and Puff connected. I was on a Jodisi tour with Jodisi, a bad boy. And you know what I said? I never met Puff. I, you know, I was on. What were you doing on the tour? You were at Jodisi? Yeah, yeah. You get the fuck out of it. In Jodisi? No, I was singing. I was singing a story. I was singing backgrounds for them, playing guitar for them. Nobody ever heard this story. I was telling them like, nobody ever heard this story. I was playing keyboards, guitar, singing backgrounds on tour and all. Well, that's it. That's kind of it. And I feel like I'm really a hip-hopping story. I'm fucked up right now. That's real R&B. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he was on tour with Jodisi. Okay. So how did, I now. Puff was on a tour. So. But what I'm saying, even you being on tour with Jodisi, you weren't the main character. So how the fuck was he discovered you? He was young nigga up there rocking, singing all that shit, playing all that shit, playing guitars, keyboards and all that. And singing niggas was like. This average league talented. Right. So Puff, I was in the studio with Total playing guitar and singing with them in the booth. Puff came in the booth like, Stevie J, right? I got a contract for you in my car. So we laughed and we just sat and talked for a while. You know what I'm saying? Your man was like, you all right out here? I was fucked up. Right. Wow. I was wounded. But you said you was all right. Yeah, I'm good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everybody say that. What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? Somebody asked you if you're good like paper wise. Right, right. Oh, you was wounded. Like I was wounded. Yeah, I'm not too usless. I'm not going to say hurt. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm just like, it's gonna be like you. I'm just like, it's gonna be all right. You was hurt. You know what I'm saying? He's like, all right, he had it all figured out. You know what Puff, he had it. Right. Yeah, just hold this down. Right, right. Six to eight bands. You know what I mean? Come see me in the morning. He gave you the life change. Yeah, when you started working with Big, was Big, Big was already big. Big, ready to die. Wow. After a million, million, some change. So, you know what I'm saying? And we just were vibe out in the studio. So now that's one of your first records you ever worked on is for Biggie Smalls. Yeah, life after death. Yeah, life after death. What was the record, the first record? Oh man. I can't really remember the first record. All I remember was we was in Trinidad and all the hit men was in Trinidad. I gotta say it's Trinidad. Yeah. And Big came down, you know what I'm saying? And we did like 50 tracks down in Trinidad. So those records we never heard properly. Yeah, I mean like. And when you say the hit man, let's describe what a hit man is. Me, D-Dot, I'm in rod, N'ashim, Carlos Brody. He did T-On-Wa, Carlos Brody also did T-On-Wa. Damn, I don't want to miss nobody. Prestige. Big man from T-Sea. Oh, Chucky Thompson. Yeah, my bro Chucky Thompson. That's right. Somebody pass me a block. We are being seen on crowd track. We're not really just. It was just like, it was like we teamed up. We teamed up down in Trinidad. You know what I'm saying? It was like. But yeah, we're not official. It was just like y'all. No, we was signed hit man. And it was like N'ashim and Carlos would be on the team. Right. D-Dot and I'm in rod would be on the team. Chucky and Prestige and me and Puff would be on the squads. It would be like you who could make the best joints. Now we seen pictures of you back in the days with you and Mariah Carey with your shirt off. You was pretty loose. Flaming back then. Loose. What about her? She was loose too. That's true. I don't know where you're going, Stevie J, but I'm ready to go wherever you are. I'm just saying, I wasn't the loose one. You know what I'm saying? The cheeks be the loose ones. She was super loose. Yeah. I don't know where we're at, but I'm definitely happy we're at there. That's big up Mariah. Big up Mariah. Big up Mariah. Woo! Mariah, I think she is serious. If you look at the CD, I don't smoke. She called me a fat muffin man. Yo, Mariah came to the hood lab one time. And we was in the hood lab. We had crates in the hood lab. I'm talking about she drank Pinot Grigio out of a foam cup. She was like, I love Nori. She was like, Nori, you my favorite rapper. That's what I'm talking about. In the hood lab. Yo, oh my god. She had Mariah's school. That's my buddy. So now, Stevie. Yeah. When Puff initially approached you, did you know who Puff was or no? No, I didn't. OK, so. You know what I'm saying? I was rocking with Jodicey. That was it. You know what I'm saying? Now, how did you beat Jodicey, though? I met Jodicey. I was singing at a fashion show in Rochester. And after it was over, they was like, yo, who did the tracks you were singing on? Yo, you dope. And I was like, me. So you were singing on your own track? Yeah. And I was like, yo, your shit is dope. And I'm like, I ain't cool. I was like, from upstate New York or no low. Absolutely. We don't know that. Absolutely. New York all day. So and I was like, it's a piano in the back. I know all your shit. They was like, yo, get the fuck out of here. Went to the back side of the plane. They shit singing. They shit there. I was like, yo, you with us. So you actually really know how to play the piano. Like there's a lot of producers that play the piano through MPC. No, they call it doinking around. They just do it. Yeah. Me, you know what I'm saying? Put a Stevie Wonder, John Storch knows how to do it as well. Like the self-talk, though. Yeah, self-talk. Wow. Yeah. Let's make some noise for that. Yeah. So now. Piano is just one of the instruments. So now, I see that. So now, Paul Fasizio says, I want you to be with us. Right. And then Biggie is already Biggie, right? Yeah. So now you get in the studio. How do you know what tracks to give Biggie? Because I just because if Big is already big, he could shut you down. He could be like, relax. Right. He could be like, relax. But he was like, give me all of them joints. Whatever you got. Let me get all of them. Don't relax. Don't relax. Don't relax. Don't relax. Exactly. I was like, he's like, give me a more. Every track that I handed in, he was like, yo, y'all need that. Let me write on that. So let me get that. Wow. So now after he does that, how do you not relax? Because I did relax. I did relax. I mean, full-stimulated. I did relax. I did relax. I did relax. I did relax. I did relax. I mean, you know, it was full steam ahead. You know what I'm saying? All the cars. Because a lot of people don't really, really understand. Like, all right. The bad boy era was an era like none other. Yeah. I respect baby num, cash money and them, but I really invented the bling-bling. Oh. Yeah. The bling-bling. That's a true story. I was spending two million on Jewels. Back then. Back then. Yeah. That's to make some noise to Stevie J. Before. Yeah. Yeah. I keep a good kid. You know what I'm saying? You have to keep a good kid. Right, right. Yeah. So, put two in charge. All the biggie part. Because that's how the people proceed. Well, hold on. No, it was like D-Dot. Big up to D-Dot. D-Dot, Angela, my big bro. Okay. Savage with the, he could put together the album. The mad rapper. The mad rapper. He was great at A&R and putting together directions for the album. D-Dot spent sleepless nights putting together the album. And thanks to him, you know what I'm saying? I was able to get the direction, the right direction between him and Puff to, you know what I'm saying? Give biggie everything you need. What does this phone call happen? Because this is what I'm trying to get to is, you said biggie was already biggie. Right. Right? Yeah. So now, you get Puff, Puff says it's all good. We're going to bring you through. But now this is still biggie. How do you hand selectly pick these tracks? It was like, yo, Stevie go to the midi room. Puff. Yeah, Stevie go to the midi room. Okay. Midi or mini? Midi. Midi. Midi. M-I-D-I. M-I-D-I Studio. Yeah, Studio A. I love that. Studio B. It's like a production. Yeah. In the midi room. Yeah. Going there, crank them out. Right. D-Dot will come in and check on me. He'll be like, he just shake his head every time he come in. Like, boom. Like, no? Like, yeah. God damn. Send in the kid. Yeah. Keep working. Keep working. So, you know, big, every track I gave big, he would love. It wasn't one track that I gave big that he didn't rhyme. Wow. Wow. That's kind of incredible. That's super incredible. I did 85% in life back then. Wow. That was your album. That was my album. I did Puff album No Way Out. So, the publishing is crazy on all that. 15 million. 15 million. I did 95% of that. Oh, shit. Yeah. And that was a double album, right? No, Biggie's was a double. Biggie, Biggie, Biggie. So, I'm going to get a little dark for a second because at one point, you left the hitman. Mm-hmm. You left. And you was like, I'm not doing that. How was that period? And why was that period happened? I mean, it was like... And why did you leave? Like, like... It was more like, you know what I'm saying? When we do this, I'm going to give you that. When we get that, I'm going to give you that. And I'm like... Yeah. But in the industry, it never happens at the exact time. It never happens sometime at all. Sometimes it never happens. And the way it's told. Let's be frank. I see no... Let's be frank. So, you know, it didn't happen. I'm like, yo, I write cool. You know what I'm saying? And you have 50% of the fucking work period. Everybody, you know what I'm saying? Kakin' up and all that. And I'm just getting, you know what I'm saying? Marshals and all that. I want to cake up. I'm doing all the work. Marshals? Marshals. I don't know what that means. Little things. Little things. I was like, marshals. Let's say, Puff ain't seen you to marshals. I'm not going to get up at that time. You know, at the end of the day, it was, it was. I skated off to LA, went and worked with the Jackson family. The whole Jackson family. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, he's starting on us right now. Not really. You know what I'm saying? That's when I gain all my information on the industry. You know what I'm saying? Working with the Jackson family. You know, Jackie Jackson at the time, one of my best friends and mentors, show me the game. You know what I'm saying? Jackie Jackson. Yeah, the older Jackson brother. What does my Jackson brother teach you? Like, what do they, like what kind of insight? You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? The business. I would imagine they taught you how crazy shit is too. Yeah, they taught me how crazy shit is, but they taught me the business. How to handle my business and deal with the business and fuck all the flash and shiny suits and the flash and lights. Let's handle this business. You ain't like the shiny suits? I mean, you know, who would have liked to have your business get your shiny suit? Right, I love the shiny suits. I'm not mad at the shiny suits. You know I was mad at the shiny suits. I'm not mad at nothing. He just said handle the business first. I also was mad that it's not that I was mad that they was dancing. I was mad that I couldn't dance. Yeah. I just can't dance. Gangsters can't dance. Man, shit. You just do it two-stop. Which I was dancing and fucking all the bitches. Let's make some noise for bad boy Errol. Got that back. You know, I mean, so, you know, after that it was like, oh yeah, yeah, thank you so much. He's got his job. The VSOP. Yeah, that's good. I appreciate it. Charles, you know I gave it two cups. I gave it a cup. I gave it my boo today. It's very steep as well. But I went in. But the big up, the Benzino craps. Yeah, yeah, Benzino craps. Oh yeah. Who was amazing here, man. It's amazing. Okay, so break it down. You know, so, you know, after that, you know, some things started to happen in LA where, you know what I'm saying? I was just cool with all the, you know what I'm saying, the D-boys and the D's getting money and all that. Things happening where, you know, somebody got kidnapped from my crib. That's not a good thing. Not a good thing. You know what I'm saying? And niggas know me and know my energy. You know I'm not with none of the fucks here. But it was my house, so. It's your family. It's me. You know that? It's my relation. Yeah, absolutely. So, you know what I'm saying? That's when shit got really dark. You know what I'm saying? And there was like, oh, shit. Jackson's was like, oh, all right, we're not fucking with you no more. We're talking about Mike's family. We're talking about Mike's brothers and shit. Yeah, Mike's in them. Yeah. The Mike's family. Yeah, yeah. Okay, okay, relax. We're going in. Yeah, exactly. So it's just like, it got real ugly at that point. And that's when it was like, all right, let me get out of here and go back to the A. You know what I'm saying? And that's where. Because you had lived in the A before? Yeah, I lived in the A before. You know what I'm saying? It's like, I lived in like a couple times. You know what I'm saying? So at the end of the day, when I came back here, it was like, I had to start all over. Right. And I'm saying I'm back to the streets, back to whatever I was doing. And that's when I got the call about Mona. Okay, so now, now, before we go back into Mona. But now big. Big was probably arguably everybody's on everybody's top five. You work with a Joda C. And then you get this call from Puff. To work with the 12 album, the total album, the big album, Black Rob album, no way out album. Everything's dope. Bad fuck me up. I was gonna go just to say bad boy dope. All right. But I want to go to all those out by the way. But big's album. Did you know how great big was? Did you know you were working with the greatest rapper of all time? Yes. I mean, based upon just, you know what I'm saying? Man to man, an aura. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And what I felt from the guy. You know what I'm saying? Man, great spirit. Humble himself. Always laughing. Always laughing. Mad jokes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And back in the chick. Back in the chick. You know what I'm saying? I remember one time I brought some chicks from Philly to the studio. I'm like, yo, big, hold them down. I'm going to get the Dom Perry. You're on Malibu, Cranberry, Pineapple Juice. And I'm going to Branson. Is that the Stevie J? That's Biggie. That's what he thought. Oh, no, no, no. Malibu, Malibu, Malibu. Oh, V-Brees. Oh, Malibu. Okay, okay, okay. So, went to Branson, came back. Big was in the booth getting lettuce from both of the chicks. Let's make some noise for Biggie. Let's see. Got that. Got that. Got that. So now Stevie J, you sit there and you're working with Big. And you said you already recognized Big was the greatest all the time. Absolutely. At what moment did you feel like maybe Big will never be here again? Never, right? I mean, it was only one woman. at this party. Let's be clear. At the, at the, at the, at the Soul Train Party? At the Soul Train Party? At the Soul Train Party? Oh, let's make some noise for Stevie J. Spending $8,000, got that. You're in six carries. But, Are you talking about the Soul Train Party? He's there, like, out of, Every Jones, yeah. Yeah, I spent the least of money on all the time. Everybody, like, listen, listen, every time they describe, and God bless me for the, for the way, I'm saying it, no, no, no, the way I'm saying it, every time you speak about Biggie Small's death, a lot of people, like, like, Poc's last picture was in that car. Right, with Shug right there in the car. Well, a lot of people don't realize that, in that party, it's you, Puff, and Big. You're actually there. Right, absolutely. So, that night, did you feel funny? Or no? Of course, you know what I'm saying? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, you guys just say of course. Are you saying before he would know, like, a vibe? No, I'm saying, because, Yeah. It was a vibe party too, as well. No, no, no, but. You said vibe? No, he's. Am I lying? Are you saying, did you feel a vibe? Yeah, that's what I'm asking. Before anything. Did you feel a vibe at that party, or you felt the vibe for the whole trip? The entire night, that entire night. That entire night. And now, can you describe that? So, I mean, more or less, it just felt funny, you know what I'm saying? We was at Andre Hurrell's house, and everybody like, we going out, boom, you know what I'm saying? And it was like, all right, let's go out, when like, it was the Aztec and that, you know what I'm saying? And we got to the party, we turned up, and it just felt like, you know, at a certain point, you know, the crowd just started getting thin. Relax, everybody over there. You know what I'm saying? The crowd just started getting thin. And it was like, you saw people dissipate. No, because what I heard was, there was people, when hypnotized came on, there was people actually saying, fuck y'all. But you heard what he said, he said it got thin. Yeah, I never heard this part of the story at all. I never heard that the crowd got thin, like. And when you mean you got thin, what you're saying is people laugh, it's time to go. When big came, now when big came, like, you know what I'm saying, at a certain point in the party, it's like, you know what I'm saying? We not about to close this joint down, and then just started getting thin. It's like the fuck was already said. But that was bad boy style, bad boy style was taking over the whole party and closing it. But it wasn't that time, he's what he's saying. No, I'm saying, I'm, I'm, I'm, We in LA. Yeah, cause we in LA after pop died, pop passed away. Absolutely. And for you, you saying it felt weird. Absolutely. Like it didn't feel like any other time, bad boy had a party. Right, right, right. It's like, yo, what time we getting out of this joint? And you felt it. Yeah. Wow. And then you know, you heard niggas making their little comments, you know what I'm saying? Like you told Mark, I'll let you walk in. Yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying? So, you know. What kind of comments though? Like fuck the East Coast, you know what I'm saying? Bye bye, bye bye. What was that vibe exactly? Yo, listen, after big died, I'm sorry to cut you off. After big died, even when I went to LA, the record label were higher security, whether I wanted it or not. Like I would land and they would already be there. And me, you know, I'm a surprise myself when I haven't security. But that was the only place where they would say, shut the fuck up. You got security out there after big died. Absolutely. So I could actually, but you could describe a situation better than anybody else because like a lot of people see, again, I want to reiterate what I said. A lot of people see Poc's last picture and they see him and Shug, but that's after they drove off. If you look at Big's last pictures, it's DJ, Big and Puff. And am I lying like? Absolutely correct. Like I'm a- And they had Kristal and they had- Don Perignon. Oh, it was Don Perignon, excuse me. I remember correctly I spent all the money on that. Let's make some noise. Actually, I was just going to- Yo, yo, yo. But, so you're telling me that even in the party, even being comfortable, even being smoking and drinking, spending all of Don Perignon, you kind of felt something. You couldn't have knew he was gonna die because he was a sex off. I mean, you know, anything from the street, understand like, no, one should just stop feeling funny. You know what I'm saying? And it's time to get up out that motherfucker. You know what I'm saying? You know, it was time to go and we'd laugh. And you know, we went through the light, I was in the car with Puff and you know, they didn't- I got cars. I was in the truck with Puff. I got a question for you. How many cars back, y'all, was from Biggie? It was- Puff went through the light and Biggie, Biggie was right behind us, Biggie's seasoning. So that was in front? Yeah, and just for the dumb people out there, please, TVJ, please say this. Puff had nothing to do with that dog. Of course not. Like, I just hate when the people say- Who says that? No, it's a whole documentary saying that Puff killed Big. Like, I just hate- I just hate the sugar conspiracy, but the Puff conspiracy? Yeah, I just hate that conspiracy so- That was Puff's man. Yeah, I hate that conspiracy so much. It's ridiculous. I didn't even- Puff did this. Of course not. I remember talking about he did this show and I didn't even want to say it because I just felt so dumb even bringing that up. Certain things go on set. Yeah, sir, we don't need to entertain that. We ain't gotta entertain that. You know what I'm saying? That was his man. That was his, you know what I'm saying? Starskin hutch, you know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Stick the clutch, you know what I'm saying? Now, how was Bad Boy after that? Thanks. I mean, it was- I'm not gonna lie. I wouldn't say ruin, but it was- It was dark. Major off balance. It was dark, you know what I'm saying? Everybody was hurt, you know what I'm saying? We was in the studio. Everybody was in the studio. It was like candles lit and you know what I'm saying? And we listening to- Because Big was your funny guy. Like I remember going to the Bad Boy and I remember recording T.O. and Y because I recorded T.O. and Y and Bad Boy. And I remember seeing- Not seeing me again. Not seeing my iris and collars. I'm brody. And I remember going and I remember seeing y'all always smile. And then I remember after Big's died. No smiles. And nobody was smiling. And then they smiled about it. Like everybody was just sitting there. And don't get me wrong. Y'all was still giving me beats. Y'all was still- But they really nothing to smile about it. You know what I'm saying? Because you know- Because in your opinion, was it a dark day from there? It was a dark year from there. It was a dark year from there, pretty much. Because you know, even if you look at all the interviews with Big talking about the situation with Pot, he would never entertain the Bulls. Yeah, he never did. You know what I'm saying? He was never like- He's trying to be positive. No, he wasn't trying. He was positive. You know what I'm saying? That's why me and him were sitting down in LA. I was having a son around the time and he was having a son around the time. And you know what I'm saying? He was like, yo, I'm gonna be your son, Godfather. You're gonna be my son, Godfather. Oh. You know what I'm saying? So with Chris, I'm Chris Godfather. Oh. You know what I'm saying? So at the end of the day, it's just like- It just sucks. He would just tell me like, yo, I don't entertain shit because I don't want to be a part of the negativity. Right. You know what I'm saying? And then the next day for this to happen, that fucked everything up. And then for you, the crazy shit is because you got to experience the first rappers that ever got killed. Right. So real shit. So with all this shit that's going on now, I don't take it serious. You know what I'm saying? Right. Like the young drool shit, you know, young drools on here. Who was that? Yeah, relax. Relax. Relax. Relax. What was that? I wasn't ready yesterday. Who was that? He killed the- He bought me a straight-estate. I'm just saying, I don't know these dudes. All I know is- He said, relax. All I know is getting money. You know what I'm saying? I'm getting money. All I know is, you know, I'm kind of, I'm a fly guy. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? I like- Can we make noise for you being a fly? No, no, no, no, no, no. Not yet. Okay, okay. I got a little story to tell like this. I'll go there, please, please. You know what I'm saying? So, you know what now? I just pay attention. And my inbox be going off. With stories- You told my DM? Yeah, my DM. With stories to tell about people. I like the young- What's his name? You got Derek on AFN? No, young- You can throw it out. That's okay, he pointed at you. No, what's his name? Young? Young Drow? Yeah. You know what I mean? You know, I get DMs from all type of communities like the transgender community. Oh! Nah, the different aura. The different aura. It's not like- Hold on, wait a minute. You wanna see this? I gotta see that. Hold on, look. You wanna see? You wanna see? Me? Me? You doing me? Alright. I'm- You know, at the end of the day, I just be bowling my lane. So, I advise cast a bowling lane. You know what I'm saying? I own my bowling alley. They got a rent-a-ball. You know what I'm saying? They did. Oh, they really rent-a-ball. He killed that? Yeah, they did. Y'all was y'all. Yeah, it's be easy, guys. I don't know where he's going. He's a nass though. I love the place. Alright, hold on. We just- We believe you, by the way. We don't really wanna see it. No, hold on. No, we don't. Since we're live. We live? We live. We live and be live. Bezino's crab trap. Bezino's crab trap. Zeno's crab trap. Zeno's crab trap. Yo. Alright, we gonna do it like this. Okay. Chico, good to hear you. How's your brother Chino's doing? How's your drinks? Let me get a little bit more of that. Let me get a little bit more of that. We drinking Moscow, by the way. No, this shit not. And Martell. And Martell. And Seraf. And Seraf, so I'm only drinking Seraf. I'm drinking it. I gotta relax. This is the first thing. I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I'll describe your face to them for you. This is a podcast. And homie says- His face is quite flustered right now. And then he's looking- Then it says- He's looking quite confused. I will, you are my king. I know what to do with this one. You're gonna what? And now he looks away. You know, shout out to Bad Boy Entertainment. Danger Zone, We in the Building. Shout out to Benzino Crab, Trap and everything. You know what I'm saying? Listen, man. I feel like you should have asked him what I just read. What did he just say? I mean, you know, I'm just saying, dude's got a bowl of lane, man. No, no, I don't- Listen, this is what I'm saying, though. You know, I'm up. What's that? I'm in the gym. And you know what I'm saying? And you know, I wrinkle up a nigga's school clothes, man. You know, I try to write- Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. Choked up. All right, so I guess I won't know what the hell y'all do. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, I'm saving. I'm gonna save him. He know what I'm talking about. I'm gonna let him live. You know what I'm saying? But don't mention me. Don't mention the good guy. In all fairness, this is what he said. When he came on an R show- Like that. Yeah. Straight like that. When he came on that, yeah. Young Drow, yeah. Because when he came on R show, I can't- What did he say? I can't speak about everything else. But what did he say? This is what he said. He said that he just didn't appreciate that you called him. The thing is, he felt like- Listen, I don't respect. If a G called you- Because if a G called you, it don't matter. If a G- It don't matter. If a G called you, you handle that. Big meets in my phone. I never met him a day in my life. He text me, I'm a text in back. What? It's a respect thing. Mm-hmm. Now you write about that. You know what I'm saying? Can't complain about that. You write about that. You know, but you know, it's all good. Don't go in the breakfast club saying, oh, this that and making little jokes and all. And keep your jokes to yourself. Cause I can make- Same thing, make you laugh. Make you cry. Make you cry. And I'm the good guy. All right, let's make some noise for the good guy. I got this. Yeah. Like that. But also, because you know, I fuck with both of y'all. I love y'all. You know. But also, I would like to ask you- I'm not saying I don't fuck with him. You know what I'm saying? And I, you know what I'm saying? You got to play with him. Because y'all both great people. I would love to be the person to bring it together. Cause I'm ready for- It ain't about that. I'm cool just hanging with my kids. I don't even need no extra shit. But my thing is just like, I'm a man. You know what I'm saying? Be a man about shit. You know what I'm saying? Don't try to get no rep and catch no wreck off me. You know what I'm saying? Are we going to really just have to get it in? Right. Period. I'm just, I'm from that org. That's right. You know what I mean? Like I told you in the beginning of the video, I'ma be all over the place. Now what was your relationship with Tupac? Oh Tupac? We just fucked all the same bitches. Let's make some noise for y'all to fuck all the same bitches. Yeah, I mean. I mean. I mean. I mean, I mean. I ain't going to fuck man. To this day still. Tupac knocked the fucking door. Relax, don't ask that question. That's going to bring you down a wrong path. Don't ask that. Don't ask that. We just, we just, you know, we associated with all the same girls and we couldn't ever hang out. You know what I'm saying? We just kept it cool. After the beef you couldn't hang out? I mean, it was like, when did the beef ever end, bro? All right. It was straight like that. That shit was ridiculous. Benzino, I know this is your spot, but I'm going to have to actually relax. Come on, Zeno. You're the biggest problem right now. So you had no music with Poc. No, I had no music with Poc. Well, I leave it, every time I leave it. You put it in the music video. Yeah, but you know, we couldn't do it. You know what I'm saying? Right. It couldn't happen because, you know, I'm with Poc. I'm with Ben. And that's that. But I don't mind. So you saying Poc tried to... No loyalty. Tried to get beef from you? I'm not saying, I'm saying we rock with all the same joints and his chicks would be like, no, I'm small. His chicks would be like, yo, you know what I'm saying? Why don't you, I'm like, you know what I'm saying? We can't even do that. My loyalty lies with who it lies with. But prior to the beef, did he try to get beef from you? Nah, it wasn't even, you know what I'm saying? He was death row, nah, that's it. And I'm bad boy. Yeah, but how cool was that environment though at that time? Exactly. If we bad boy, we bad boy. But basically he said, this is what he's saying. Nah, let him say this. I'm not saying, I'm saying. I know what he's saying. I'm saying, you saying, man. Relax. This is what you saying. You saying, if my man ain't rocking with you. I don't fuck with you. I don't want to. I want it and I can't and I won't. That's it. Won't stop, can't stop. That's it, that's what I'm saying. But describe that situation because prior to that, bad boy is just happy there. You know, we are chilling to the public. Right. To the public. Happy chilling. And now here's this guy comes out and he shits on y'all. I mean, let's be clear. Super shit. He super shits on y'all. All I remember. How do y'all stay cool? This is how I remember the whole shit going down. Because you know I'm new to the whole shit. Now I just remember niggas in the office listening to Hitem Up. And I just walked out of the office. Hitem Up was amazing. They listening to it in the office? We told my bad boy. That must have been crazy. Oh, Daddy's house? That's a story. Just to listen to it. Hold on, I really gotta hear this story. I'm sitting back. I really gotta hear this story. I'm walking off. Shhh. Shhh. Okay, hold on. So you walk in Daddy's house and they already listening to it? Yeah, they already listening to it. Niggas is listening to it. And it was like, you know, you walk through those steel doors. I remember. I thought it was gold. No, they're steel. Gold and game. Silver. And then you walk through those doors and then the office is right to the left. Mad niggas is in there listening to Hitem Up. And I'm just like, I walk in. But Biggie's not in there. No. Okay. And I'm like. It's offensive. No, you don't need to be. No, it ain't. Before I even heard this, you know, I just seen niggas is like. Grilled face. I'm listening to the record and I'm like. Shit's about to get dark. No man. The aura got real dark. The aura got. Now. Who shot you? What's the timeline? It was a timeline. That's that's what I'm asking. Everybody's confused about the timeline. Yeah. I mean, was who shot you made directly after that? What was because originally we thought DJs were sold. It was made prior to that. Well, you know, I don't recall. Oh, man, we're not going to get answers here. I respect that. No, I'm not mad. I was expecting to be called as the East Coast nigga. I got a role. I'm neutral. You know, my thing is like, I'm a New York nigga for everything. You know, and it's like, you know, when they do shit just happen the way it happened. And it just, it just, you know, through our whole coast off the off the off the. You 100%. But you're like a dancer could be an answer, bro. All right. I'm just saying. I don't recall. Nah, he's right though. I'm a lot of drugs back then. Yeah. Let's make some noise. You're doing a lot of drugs. So now you still use it. I mean, I'm a factor. Somebody bought me a box of. So. Who is that? I feel like I feel like they got to go. Whatever. I feel like they got to go. Why? They wrote something. Yeah. You know what they're on another note though. Yeah. You know, I have nothing but the utmost respect for you. You know what I'm saying? I got a number of the most. I'm saying you. This is what I'm saying though. You know, I'm going to take a bottle. So rock. Can you pass me one? Absolutely. Thank you, sir. Open one. Oh, one open already. All right. Thank you. Thank you. When I came in the game, it was like I came in with Jodeci. You know what I'm saying? I'm staying in there. Getting money straight. I was like, let me cut you off for one second. Because let me just tell you something. Jodeci was beating niggas up. They were like the R&B Wu-Tang. I had a fight with them. I had a fight with them. We got to get into that right now. Right now. That's the next one. What happened? Don't tell me it was over. I had a fight with Jodeci. I had a fight with Jodeci. I had a fight with Jodeci. I had a fight with Jodeci. You were playing against two artists. No, no, no. Not at all. All right. So, you know, Shook started managing Jodeci. Wow. Right? Check this shit out. Check this shit out. All right. So boom. So, you know, I get a call from Devante. You know, I'm working on the Jodeci app, but I'm really with Devon. Devon my man. I'm working with Devon doing all the music. Let's describe Devon takes the light skin one. Devon takes the jeans. To produce the jeans. Devon takes the jeans. To produce the jeans. Devon is like, It's his brother. Supposed to be the gangster. No. Where's Jodeci from? Exactly. North Carolina. Yeah. Okay. Devon takes us your Raymond, produce us your Raymond, everybody's shit. We're fucking Madonna all that. You know, says brother down. Wait, wait, wait. You can't just say fucking Madonna. Let's make some noise and fucking Madonna. I got that. Slide over that shit. You can't just say that. All right. Fucking Madonna. Fucking Madonna. Yeah, he's like fucking Madonna. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I guess, Steve. You know, so I get the call like, yo, what's going on down there? You know, say who fucking know who I'm like, listen, man, I'm not fucking none of these bras. You know what I'm saying? He's like, well, I'll be back tomorrow. Boom. Come back to the studio. We have a mean at the studio. All right. So at the time it was Devon T had Missy. Timberland. I poured a terrible drink. I'm sorry. Yeah, continue. Missy, Timberland, player, tweet, sister, G-Wide. Everybody for real. For real. For real. All right. So all of them was in the studio. You know what I'm saying? So, you know what I'm saying? He walk in, he's smacking everybody. Genuine. Timberland. Missy. But literally smacking them. Smacking them. No, she was a beast. Are we saying Devon T was the R&B shit, man? Yeah. Yeah. This is what we're saying. Wow, wow, wow. This is what we're establishing right now. This is exclusive shit, man. Okay, guys, please. I heard this story before. It's super exclusive. But the hair, you say it? Wait, wait, wait, wait. Definitely exclusive. I want to hear it. I want to remember who told me this story. All right, guys, I'm going to tell you who else told me this story. I was there. Look at Zeno. Look at Zeno's laughing away. Zeno, what's funny, man? He's smacking girls around Zeno. Zeno, relax. What? What? Make some crimes, Zeno. Make some crimes, Zeno. Make some crimes for Zeno. Hey! It sounds weird, though. Let's get back to Devonte the gangster. Is it Devonte? All right, good. Devonte is just smacking her. So he's walking in the studio just randomly smacking it. Oh, no, no, not randomly, with the pit bulls. Oh, damn, he got dogs too? And with the body-wessing snakes in it? Yeah, what he's saying? You set your fire out of my ass down before I make some change? And then smacking you? That's how he's doing it? Wow. No, I swear I've got to heard this story before. But it's been, I swear I heard this story before. It's crazy shit right here. So boom, keep me smacking chicks and all that boom. So he gets to me like, yo, you cool? You with my brother? It's okay, I can couple chicks. No, no, I mean, you know. But his little cousin come around doing the same thing. He gets to me like, let me smack you. Nigga, you smack me? I'm killing everybody. Right, right. You know what I'm saying? I wasn't even up back then. I was slimming and whatever. Boom, so I go to fight niggas. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Niggas hit me in the head with a bottle of boom. I'm fighting niggas. Got the cut off my eye right now. Not Davante. No, I want his security guards. But Davante tried to thug you too? No, he wasn't. It was his cousin. His cousin. So Davante. So make a law to him. So make a law to him. So he's sure. I'm gonna shoot Davante the next time I see him. Because also, like, he tried to ask me for a verse one time. He was way too aggressive. Now I know why. I continue. So anyway, you know, after that happened, you know, the next day, you know what I'm saying? I'm talking to Missy and Timmy, like, yo, y'all niggas still fuck with this nigga. You know? Y'all. But you, are you down with Puffer this time? No, no, I'm not down with him. You know what I'm saying? But you don't like what's going down? At all. But you and Rochester, my hometown, when I can make that call on niggas. Oh, you and Rochester at the studio? Yes. Okay, kids. You know what I'm saying? Make a law to him short, you know what I'm saying? Niggas all left to Missy, Timmy, and whoa, whoa, whoa. Thanks to the guy having to fight. What? What guy having to fight? Who had to fight? Oh. With Davante? Yeah. Screw it all, what do you mean? I mean, you know, fighting whoever I fought, it was like three of them niggas. But thanks to my fight, everybody- I feel like you won, because that's why you- He fought the good fight. I got out of it. He fought the good fight. Thanks to that fight, everybody left. Genuine, Missy, Tweet, Play, everybody left. So you helped them get out of that situation. I heard this story before. I'm going to be honest. You heard this? I heard Davante was the shielded man, R&B shielded man. I swear to God, I heard this story. You know what I'm saying? He wanted to be. You got to give him the credit. He let them lose. No, he's letting it out publicly. What I'm saying, I let everybody out of their shit pretty soon. Right, by you getting in that situation and confronting it. Because they wouldn't have done it. See, that's what I'm saying. Yo, yo, yo, Ching Ming, hit that. See, that's what I'm saying. This is the reason why I win when, you know, people say, Stevie J from Love and Hip Hop. I always, as a Hip Hop fan, I always be super mad. Even though I know that's your new hustle. But you know, it's not even a hustle. It's like, you got to look at it like this. Hunnamie records 5g, so he did that. Excuse me, excuse me. All right, no, check this out. No, but check this out. But check it out too. Hold on, hold on, let's figure you out for that. Say that again. What you saying? Hunnamie records 5g. Okay, 100 million records and 5g. Young jock ex-girl, relax. I'm so sorry. She's super dope. It's a lot of publishing. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. It's a lot of publishing. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. It's a lot of publishing. It's like, where is she going to go? How high can you go? You know what I'm saying? So I had to create another lane for myself. And you know what I'm saying? I'm blessed to have created a lane where number one show on VH1 for six seasons and the number two show of my executive production on two shows, number two shows for VH1. Oh, leave it to Stevie? Leave it to Stevie and Stevie G and Jocelyn. Number two show for VH1. You know what I'm saying? And I got four more shows coming on VH1 and shit. I got some noise for that. I got damned. So, you know, say what you want. You know what I'm saying? I don't even got a test of drum machine, even though none of these niggas can't even scuff my timblings. None of you producers, you know what I'm saying? But I'll let y'all live. Let's talk that shit one more time. Tell them niggas they can't fuck with you. They can't fuck with me. I should be down on a plate of piano. Or the guitar or the violin or the saxophone or the trumpet or the drums or anything. Any instrument. They play dead. Anything but dead. You hear that? Loop that. Copy that. Sync that. Yeah. Me? Yeah. Don't want to see me on that. Y'all go ahead. Y'all young boys do what y'all do. I won't even get a bearish shot. You know what I mean? We got producers in the house. I mean, that's cool. That's cool. You know, I'm a different kind of guy. You know what I'm saying? You're track record sweepers. I'm the good guy. That's right, baby. I'm so sorry. She's so fantastic. I like her. Come on. Come on, sis. Come on, sis. I like her. I like her. Me too. I like her. I like her. That's my sister. Sit right here. Come on, sis. I'm on the line. What's up? Young Jock is going to not like us. Come on, man. That's my bro. We good. We good. We get money together. We New York niggas. New York niggas try to take her down. Night. Night. Night. Night. They on you. I understand. You know what it is? There's so many gay niggas in our land. I'm so sorry. That's what they say out loud. Yeah, yeah. There's so many like, flagrant niggas in Atlanta. She look funny. We go out here. We score. Let me get this. Big time in a great way. Meaning in the crab trap. You feel me? And then we just feel like, yeah, like, like, like, what? Why you think, what? Straight guys that come here, we feel like they, people don't appreciate they women in Atlanta. Well, you know. So that's why I'm able to, that's why I'm able to have 10 pieces. That's some beautiful ladies in Atlanta. I appreciate my wife. I'm just throwing it out there. I know that's right. But let's continue. But you feel like guys don't appreciate you in Atlanta? Absolutely. I'm just here because there's too many women to choose from. Are you not from Atlanta? I'm from Compton. Oh. Compton. Wait, you're not there. She's from Boston. Yeah, she from Compton. Yeah, I'm from Boston. Are you from the blood side? Yeah, sir. Relax. Relax. Blood side. That means don't shoot nobody. Let's relax. She ain't shooting nobody. Big shot, Tom. I'm a big girl. That's my nigga. I fuck with that. Oh, you're a good guy. You're a good guy. Yeah, he's just not a good boyfriend, but he's a good guy. That's our personal business, Tom. I'm lost. Who's your boyfriend? Young guy. Her kid's father. Her kid's father. Oh, you got kids. Two. So sorry. I didn't know that. I forgot. I do remember that. I'm a big fan. I know every, come on. Test me on love and hip hop. I see you. You already got me. I want to see how good I am. You got me by saying that on video. What did I mean, Jocelyn? No, I'm just saying. It's definitely a strip club. I'm just realizing. I'm just trying to figure out where. Is it where is the question? I know it's a strip club, right? I'm definitely correct. That's easy. It's definitely Atlanta. I know that. No, it's not Atlanta. It's Miami. No, Atlanta. Atlanta. I know that. Oh, nice. Nice. I know that. I know that. You got the honics. Oh, nice. You got me. I'm going to win my game. Bam, bam, bam, bam. Bam, bam, bam, bam. Bam, bam, bam, bam. Bam, bam, bam, bam. So now that you've broken up, you've broken up. Oh, right, yeah. That's me. I see a lot of people who think, and me knowing you, I know that everything you do on a camera is you. I know that. But a lot of people can't tell that. Right, right. So, when they, they bring up you and Jocelyn relationships. All right. And I didn't want to bring it up, but you did. It's all love. So I'm in. I love myself. I'm in. I can talk about anything. I'm in. Were you disappointed from certain acts that she made? Or were you just like, fuck it? It's not a disappointment thing. You know what I'm saying? It's a, you know, I've been in this game for years. I've been doing this, screwing chicks, telling lies, selling pies, committing felonies, and she's new to this. You know what I'm saying? So I'm going to cigarette to that. I'm going to keep it on. I'm going to keep it on. That's some bullshit right there. I mean, it's just some real shit. It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of shit. But I'm just saying it's like, I've been, I've been not seen at all. And she ain't, you know, it's all new to her, all the flash and lights and all that. So more or less it's like, you know, I'm not one to judge. You know what I'm saying? I just hope all her, you know, whatever she go through, make her stronger. You know what I'm saying? Nah, but as a nigga, as a nigga. What up, Clint? I should not be right? Yeah, my nephew right there. As a nigga. Because I'm a nigga. And I've been in power for almost 20 years. So any woman that I meet, they might say, ah, cool. But she's going to be with you for that. And you have to face the same adversity as I face. So did you ever feel like from the beginning that you met her, that she was there for that reason? Or you felt like, damn, this is my right ear. We was rocking. We was rocking. No, no, no, no, no, real talk. We was rocking. You know what I'm saying? And that's what it was. I felt like it. I got a baby mom's that remind me of Jocelyn. I can't even stand around. So I was like, damn, I couldn't tell if Stevie J going through the shit I just went through. Yeah, yeah. You was there when my son was born. Relax, Jimmy. Relax. We went to the family court together. I've been to the family court with N.O.A.E. man. All right, why don't you come over here? Appreciate this. Stevie J. I just left it last week. It was a document number. Guilt that. But you understand. So when I sent you dealing, I related to you so much. And even when they said, oh, Stevie's an idiot, he came back. And this is like sometimes as a good person, you just want to forgive shit. And you want to patch it up. It's not even pretty much about the idiot thing. It's more or less like, all right, shit, if I'm fucking with this person, I'm fucking with him. You know what I'm saying? I don't give a fuck with nobody thinking. If I fuck with you, I'm gonna fuck with you. I'm gonna fuck with you. That's what I'm trying to say. Nobody thinks. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know what I'm saying? If I rock with you, I do. You know what I'm saying? You're gonna pop for me. I'm gonna pop the trigger for you. We're gonna rock out. Right. And that's how you were, sister. Please. Because that's because we're old school, too. Because nigga's seen you on Love and Hip Hop. I'm gonna say, you got to relax. Who got to relax? No, because you kept going back. And niggas want to knock you down in New York so much. And now. And they're just in New York. Like right here. Like right here. Like right here. Right here. And they're good old Pete State. And you know, we got ass eaters. You know, you know, my cool. I'm done. Yeah, you too. My cool. I need an ass eater here right now. I need an ass eater. We'll eat your ass now. I'll just start. But listen. Right now. That's funny. Like how did you feel like, you know, on national TV. What does this mean? No, on national TV, you know, like you kind of had the show that you weren't lying. To another girl. Well, always remember that we're talking about television. First of all. So you're saying this fake. No, I never used the word fake at all. I just said. You get too much money to let that happen. Look at Stevie J. No, no, this is not what's real. Always remember that we're entertaining you. It's not fake. It's not fake. And that this is our life. And we choose to show our life in the way that we chose to show it to you. So you can't really analyze it. You got to just go for what we gave you. Go for what you gave. We go for what you gave. And then too, on that note, you know what I'm saying? You've been through a lot of personal life. Absolutely. But for you to be able to open up and give the world a glimpse at your life. Absolutely. I applaud you. Let's give it up for you. Let's give it up for you. My baby says right here. And I'm not going to lie because a lot of us looked and we see how beautiful and gorgeous she were and a lot of us, like, you know, are. She's gorgeous. She's beautiful. My sister is gorgeous. I said was. Yeah, let's say was. She's amazing. Go ahead and show them. Show them, sister. Look at my baby sister right here. Look at my baby sister. I saw her. Whoo! Stevie! Y'all are low-key. I like, let's do a shot. Let's do a shot. All right, let's do a shot time show. A shot time. A shot time. A shot time. Let's do a shot. Let's do a shot. Y'all are ready. Y'all are ready already. Y'all are ready already. Yeah, no. But a lot of us sat back and we thought it was full. I thought we were going to do a shot first. Yeah, let's do a shot. Let's do a shot. You for it. Give us glasses. This is the most shot. Yeah. But a lot of us sorry and thought that it was phony because we're looking at you and we're saying she's way too beautiful to deal with what she was dealing with. But here's the thing. It's not me. Yeah, I'm all of those things. I'm a nurse. I have a radio show. I'm an eye heart. I'm smart. You got a radio show? You got a radio show? I'm a podcast for you. Yeah, absolutely. You got a podcast? Yeah. Well. Relax and start to come with us. You're so mad. But the point is, the point is I'm doing what I'm doing too. But sometimes people can't find themselves. So in that they are running in circles. You want her to come? She can come too. She can come too. She can sit right here. Oh my man. Oh, what did I do? Did you get me? Oh man. Come on man. There's two chairs. Come on man. Are we breaking? I don't want to make it sound like that. Are we breaking a new artist? Is she an artist? Yeah, salsa artist. Oh, salsa. Salsa. I would love to see everything move while you're salsaing. Okay. Can you sit there? So Ian Baker, sit there. I don't want to see him like I would give him away his seat. She's cute. When he went to the bathroom. What the heck? Cutest for baby and puppy. She's a grown woman. She's gorgeous. So what do we call her? CBJ. I would like to call her what you call woman. Okay. I respect that. I just respect her for being a hustler. And you're the good guy. I'm the good guy. And you know, say what you want to about me. You know, I manage Jocelyn and Mimi's career and they making a lot of fucking money. They are. You know what I'm saying? Just make some noise for Jocelyn and Mimi. Make some money. But now, everybody is looking at her. You got to put my kids' mothers in place. Everybody's looking at her. And we're saying, what are you? I'm family. Are you from Norway? Yes. Are you from Norway? Oh, she said six. Relax. I got to turn it over and get it stopped. Do you relax? I got to relax. You got to relax. So, you're from Panama. I am from the hood. You got a gun on you? I'm done. She's doing exactly what she's doing in Panama. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. But now, now baby girl. I'm sorry I got to ask you this question. But I have to ask you this. Because your accent, your body, whatever. Jocelyn might just try to snuff you. I'm just throwing it out there. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. So, I have to step in as management? No, I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I don't know. I feel like she can handle it. I know she can handle it herself, but you know, I'm going to be diplomatic. I'm diplomatic here. I feel like she might whip Jocelyn out of her ass. I'm not sure. You know, this is what it is, man. I'm going to be the manager. I'm going to be diplomatic. She's not running from anything. She's not going to run from anything. But I just advise her just to stick to the plan and let's get to the money. Now, Stevie J. Yes. What happens? We're in Onyx. I'll tell you, let's go get some lemon pepper. All right. Okay. Lemon pepper. Me and you, we eat lemon pepper. Right. We sit in there. There's no denying that she is gorgeous. Okay. She's, she's, I can hear you. What's the step above gorgeous? Because whatever it is. It's a phenomenon. Infinite. Whatever it is, she's like. Can we take a shot? Let's take a shot. Two shots. Stevie, let's continue. Come on, go ahead. If I'm, if I'm, if I'm your ex-girl, We're going to die. I'm not, what you're up to now. We're going to die. Let's relax. We're going to die. But you, you understand what I'm saying, right baby girl? All right. All right. Shots for everybody. Here we go. Hey. I got shots. Shots. You can't take a shot of beer. I'm listening to you, bro. But if I'm you, Go ahead and handle your business. I'm your people. What I'm saying is like, like I'm just saying, that's your ex-girl. But that's not, this is not what this is about. This is about, you know, dangers on Latino. You know what I'm saying? This is about, you know, my brand, this is about me presenting new artists to the table that hustle that, that, that a great artist. And you know, that, you know, have that look and ambition and the talent to do what they do. You know what I'm saying? And I'm not going to put my neck out on the limb for nobody that's not, that I don't feel is appropriate. You know what I'm saying? And that's what you're going to do. No, we know that already. But the point we're trying to say, that's what laughs. So, the point we're trying to say is, it's going to be taken the wrong way. So right now, if you go to Onyx, and then Jocelyn walks in, what's going to happen tonight? What's going to happen is going to be like, oh, she's cute. Are we taking her home? She's definitely going to do that. That was her exact words. I definitely respect that. I definitely respect that. I wasn't expecting that. Well, that's what it is. You know, my, you know, one thing I could say about, you know, me and Jocelyn, we go to the fire. You know what I mean? We go to the fire. And you know, some things were set up, you know what I'm saying? That's your baby, right? Right, right. It's got to be your baby. Absolutely. So that's why, you know, I respect these dudes, these young dudes going on the radio, trying to make jokes and all that. Keep your jokes to yourself. I don't play with my family. I don't, you know, listen, they can lie about mine, die about mine. Point blank. Everybody feel the same way about the kids, right? Yes. I'm right. Let's give it up for about that. I didn't take a shot. Where's your shot at? So I'm gonna gun. I'll take another one. Take another one. God damn it. You didn't take a shot. Yeah. I took a shot. That was mine. That was mine. That was mine. That was mine. That was mine. That was mine. That was mine. That was the rock. It's the best rock in the world. God damn it. I was saying something about you. I was saying something about you. I was saying something about you. I was saying something about you. I was playing. You know what I'm saying? I respect you Noree for a lot of different reasons. You never switched up. You know what I'm saying? I stay the same. I'm just saying you've always been the same dude. You know what I'm saying? Man, you never switched up. You know what I'm saying? And thank you for that. But, but Stevie J, you know what? I'm one of the people that campaigned, your campaign, because when people kept saying Stevie J from Love and Hip Hop, I was single-handedly the person that that, I didn't want. I mean, I get Love and Hip Hop. I get it. But you know I'm not mad at that. But I just wanted people to recognize your career. Look, my nephew's a young boy. He's a millennial. Right, Quint. Oh my God. He's one of my artists. Dangerous artist. Right. He's a millennial. These dudes only know me from Love and Hip Hop and Lancet. You know what I'm saying? Unless you go ahead and Google, how many Google niggas we got out here? Google us. It's Google us around here. Google us. You know what I'm saying? And all my nephews be like, yo, they know you. You know what I'm saying? For the producer, they do their research. They know you from Love and Hip Hop first and they know you. Your records. You know what I'm saying? So my nephew makes sure that all these young niggas know what's up. And you know what I'm saying? With you, I just, you know what I'm saying? I applaud you. I respect you. And I support you, whatever. And nobody never, I never say nothing foul about you. And same thing. I'm a really good school kid. I mean, straight up. Straight up. You're going to do nothing about it. Yeah, I'm going to do that though. No, please don't. No, I'm going to do that. I'm nice. I go boxing four times a week. No, no. You're going to do nothing about it. So now, Stevie, so now, when, when you get, because yo, you get, you get booked for shows a lot. And when they say, you know, Stevie J from Love and Hip Hop, how does Stevie J feel? And that's what I'm always like, yo, don't forget to Stevie J, a hundred million records, so five Grammys in. You know what I'm saying? I always let them know. But so you do you actually tell them to change the flyer? Oh, no. I tell them when I get there. Oh, you tell them how that bag. Just have the bag. Yo, Quint, they got the front end. They got the back end. I just got to take some pictures while I was sitting over there. 20 minutes ago, somebody got the bag for you. I see that. So, I'm talking. He collects all my back ends. I see my back. He collects my back. So now you see what you are. You're the best collector. Now you see what you are. Now you did. And we here, you're doing Love and Hip Hop again. Oh. We here, we saw you signed back on. Wow, did you? Yeah, here, yeah. You know, morning. Morning. My friend out here. He should let me negotiate your contract. He should let me negotiate your contract. Wow. Boss talk. Relax, Lori. Relax, Lori. Relax, Lori. Relax, Lori. Relax, Lori. Relax, relax, relax. Slowly relax. She got me so good. She got me so good. She got me so good. Relax, V. But yeah. Yeah, you gotta stay tuned. All right, stay tuned. Now, in that season, did you feel it was like right? No. There was a lot of things wrong with that season. With my situation. With your situation? Yeah. When Shorty rolled up on you and then you said, I'm gonna show you. Yeah, you are funny. Why you keep concentrating on that part? Cause that fucked me up. It was like, oh, bitches, is this all here? Videos? Yeah, you video taped shit. Like, I mean, but I feel you because the way it was approached, it was like, that's what you want me to do. Yeah, exactly. And when she come, the reason why I felt you was her approaching you. Exactly. When she approached you, I mean, like, if... And before that, nobody ever remembers. So when people always think about that scene or have an opinion about it, they never remember the beginning when he said, before the show even started, you didn't know who we were, she came to my house. So that's big for me where I'm from. She came to my house. You know, come to my house where our kids, late eight years, so now we forever have beef. Right, that's right. Or some realtor shit, she came to the house. She knew you were the realtor. Absolutely. Now she was with Jock and I was having... This is before... No, it was before. I'm telling you, all of this shit was before. I think love and hip-hop did that. It was before. It was before that? No, it was before. Why does she come to your house? Because she was looking for what she felt was her man, but I have kids with him, so... Right, I do. That was definitely disrespectful. You don't come to my house. But I've been trying to... You know how I put this love and shit, you don't love my hip-hop, Stevie? Yeah. And you know what, I still root for you. Still root for you. He's a good guy. I'll be like that. You know what? And you be saying you're a good guy, but you gave me a lot of excuses. Not to root for you as a good guy. But yeah, the different excuses is over. If you watch Leave It To Stevie, you know what I'm saying? We... I watched someone leave it to Stevie. They's a son. You had all your kids there. All my kids. All my kids. All living in one place. I respected that. And my son is playing Division I, ball little Stevie. Number one school in his division. Wow. You know what I'm saying? That's big data. See, nobody makes data. Let's take data. Let's take data. Good day. Listen, man, at the end of the day, I love my kids. You know what I'm saying? More than I love me. When you say you're a good guy, you really believe it. Yeah, I mean, it's facts. And you really are a good guy. It's facts. I take care of all mine, man. Where you be sticking your shit at sometimes. You just fucking anything. I'm gonna be honest, Stevie. No, I don't fucking anything. At one point, you was fucking anything. I'm just throwing out there. You're hard. I'm just dissipating it. No, wait. It's not supposed to be. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. I'm just fucking anything. My dick is like platinum and diamonds. Jeez. No, no, man. Not a lot of bras get that. You know what I'm saying? I rather whack my shit than go and have these foul, odorous smelling joints, B. These joints, a lot of these joints don't even want to stay joint, B. Smell bad, like garbards. I turn like doorknobs. Yeah. Ha ha ha. Facts. I mean, soak in the tub. These six don't even know how to soak in the tub. And put it in the. You gotta soak. You gotta soak. It should smell like hot trash, B. Well, I smell like that. And in Atlanta, it's a lot of hot trash. And that's why I'm having a lot of see-throughs. Oh my God. No, I don't mean it like that. This just smells like motherfucking hot garbage. How do you read it? There's so many of our little friends that's gay out there. Oh my God. When a girl actually is talking to a straight guy. Wait, gay dudes? No, but those are my people. That's why I respect gay people. But you know, that's why I can have 36. They love me. I kill them. What? You know what you were saying? Let's be about gay brothers. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, no, but I said fucking everything. Yeah, no, no, no. Long time for the gay brothers. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. That's a no-except. I'll wait. I'll wait. That's my ex-in-laysing. No, it's not what I'm talking about. All right, let me declare for you. Yeah, elaborate, elaborate on that. Listen to what I'm saying. Atlanta is like a lake in a certain sense, but in a different sense because it's all black and a lot. There's a lot of gay brothers out here, but I respect them. I see them in Lenox Mall. I gave them a head nod. They gave me a head nod. The homo-hudbree will just fuck you out. That's it. They will just fuck you out. That's the one thing I notice. If the gay guy wants to bother you, it's because he knows something about you. You don't know that. I'm done. I'm done. He's like, hmm, I'll see your sugar. They don't know that. I'll see your sugar. Yeah, gay guys, you see, they look at me like a sugar. They look at me like a gangsta. They be like, what up, nigga? I'll be like, what up, nigga? And we good. And we good. And we good. We like, I'll be like... I'm gonna keep it on. Yeah, until you catch them on the prime, we can be like, let's get a picture! I'm gonna give you a story. Now be your story, Steve Jackson. Now be your story. I got caught on the last fucking prime week. And the picture, there's crazy. And Cheeseburger Baby, right? This has been Twins able-bodied. Like, Twins, he's walking around. Right. So I'm looking at Twins, and we walk in, Cheeseburger Baby, but it's nothing but the gay guys, right? Right, Miami. But they gotta respect him. They gotta respect him. But they gotta respect him. But it's not, but the gangsta gay guys. It's not, it's not the gay guys. It's nothing gay guys to get along with everybody. No, these niggas, they still got the homahood. They gonna shoot you, they gonna kill you. They gonna stand this. They gonna pop you, I'm keeping it honey. So I walk in, and I'm like, damn. You probably get on him, he has to. Now Maju, they ain't looking at me. So I ain't looking at them, I'm like, We ain't looking at niggas noo-oo. I'm on the other side. I'm chilling, I'm chilling. This is when Twins is able-bodied. He's not handicapped. So Twins goes, you give me a drink. And the dude walks right behind him and say, I got you a drink, right? I'm done. So I look at Twins, and I don't wanna be like, I don't wanna yell. I don't wanna be like, you wanna keep it cool? Relax! I don't wanna say relax. If you do that, then it's all mayhem. Cause now I feel like you're gonna get fucked. Oh my gosh. But I'm doing every other thing but yelling. But yelling. Hand signals. I'm like the guy at the airplane. I'm like this. I'm like, relax! Relax! But my niggas don't catch on. So I'm like, it's too late. They gave him a drink. They gave him a drink. He turns around and he looks at me like, Why you ain't tell me? Relax! Relax, relax. It's too late. I don't know why I went there. But it's too late now. I'm gonna keep going. Go, go, finish the story, bro. I'm sorry, I feel so bad. I feel so bad. So now, I'm looking dead at this shit. They looking dead at me. So now the guys realize I'm nori. The whole time, nobody realized the gay guy. You know, ori in the building. And listen, I don't give a fuck. They realize that, you know, I don't give a fuck. Like, I don't care. But the thing is, they always said they need equal whites. Equal rights. Equal rights. Not whites. That too. They want equal whites, too. But so this is what I did. And these are my niggas. I respect these guys. They want equal whites. Equal whites. So what happened was, when they thugged my little man, and they fully thugged him up, or they fully thugged him up, what you mean? What you mean? When they gave him the drink, and my mom, it sounds like she's got a clarifying. No, no, no, no, no. Relax, relax. It sounds like she's got a finger pop. It's a clarifying. The story is gone. They don't understand. I appreciate this podcast tonight. When they actually did everything. Nothing. They got away with it. They did everything. They did everything. Great podcast tonight, guys. In my mind, they got away with everything. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. Great podcast tonight, guys. I appreciate you. Let me finish my story. Let him finish his story, because I don't even know where he's going with it. None of them go for it. I've been in episode 780. No, clarifying. In my mind, they got away with everything. So now I want to leave. What was the ending though, bro? Relax. Relax. And then they came over. With everything. No, they had everything already. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Some people surrender, man. What? He turned over. What? I'm just playing. I'm just playing. Give me two more minutes. I'm just playing. But this is the thing. When they left, one guy said to me, Noree, I recognize you now. So he said, take a flick with me. And I said, no. And he said, why you ain't got to take a flick with me? Because I felt like he was about to say, you're going to be on some gage. And I said, you want equal rights. I'm done. And he said, yeah. And I said, if you was a straight nigger, we would have killed you. For everything you just did, I would have definitely popped you. At least in your foot. You know what I feel is? But I respect you. Tell them how you feel. I respect APU. I love you. I don't give a shit. I'm just going to tell you about how I feel. And it's like, let them rock how they rock. Stay in your lane. That night, they were staying in your lane. That night, they was in our lane. Like this too. No, this is Miami. Let me relax you. They can stay in their lane and do what they do with the young droves. But God bless Stevie J. I told him. He stands up. And he stands up. Stevie J, let's end it out. We're going to end it out. Before you leave, you guys do that. You can't do that. You have to take a picture. So now, sit down. Please, please. So we're looking at her. And we're saying, Holy Moly Guacamole. Is there no more... Is this the new Jocelyn? No, it's not about the new Jocelyn. This is about danger zone management, new talent, salsa artist, beautiful person, salsa. She's taking the acting classes. Now it's time for you to talk. I'm Latina. All right. She's from the hood in Panama. Yes, I'm from Colón. I have an accent. I'm from another country. Of course, I'm going to sound Latina because I am Latina. Talk that shit, baby. I'm Eslida Quintero. Talk that shit, baby. Talk that shit. Talk that shit. So if you give us a little sample with your salsa, you're talking about salsa? Salsa con fuego? Yes. Old school salsa. To be compared to Frankie Reese. We have a little bit of Celia Cruisening mix. Ector Lavos. Ector Lavos. You got to relax. I do say, I'm going to have to actually relax. That's my hero. That's what I'm listening to. That's what I'm listening to. We're Puerto Ricans. I know I look black as hell. Put a sample on the drink chapter. You got some salsa. Let's get a little one. Let's make Jocelyn mad right now. This is a drink chapter for me. Right now. Jocelyn, give him some. Oh, my God. You got to relax. No, we relax. You guys are going to listen to us. Stevie and I are working on two things. That's not what we're doing. We want you to listen to us. We want you to listen to us. We want you to give our listeners something. We want you to give our listeners something. Stevie J. We want you to give our listeners something. Stevie J. This is what we're going to do. Stay tuned to Love and Hip Hop and Laila. But tonight, Stevie, look at these kids. Come back over here, Stevie. Listen, I'm Latino. This is the only time we're going to get to that. Yeah. What about the people who listen to the audio? We'll have it to the music. To the audio. To the RTO, Payton Tixon, Love and Hip Hop and Laila. Season six. And you know, you have everything you need. You're winning that. You can't lose. I feel like you should still sing. Because I feel like you're not just a body. We just introduced you as a body. Yeah, but she decided not to sing. You should sing. Just say two lines. She can't do it. Stay tuned.
