Summary

The episode argues that Trump's military strikes on Iran are driven by personal financial interests rather than national security, with billions in business deals from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Israel influencing foreign policy decisions. The host contends that media coverage obscures these conflicts of interest and that GCC states are now refusing to support the escalation after being drawn into a war without consultation.

Insights
  • Trump's foreign policy decisions appear directly tied to personal financial relationships with Middle Eastern governments and Israeli leadership, creating severe conflicts of interest in military decision-making
  • GCC states (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar) are actively resisting U.S. pressure to escalate conflict with Iran after realizing they were manipulated into a war without consultation or consent
  • Media coverage systematically frames military conflicts in ways that obscure casualty disparities and provide cover for Israeli military actions while maintaining a democracy narrative
  • The military-industrial complex benefits substantially from regional escalation regardless of strategic outcomes or impact on American working-class citizens
  • Unilateral military action without consulting regional allies has backfired diplomatically and economically, forcing the U.S. into unexpected alliances with Russia

All right, people in the MAGA movement that either vote for it or are in it at the governmental level, I think fear is the number one driving engine behind a lot of their impulsivity. And a lot of the people in the MAGA movement are so scared of people that have a different color of skin, might speak a different language other than English with an American accent, or might have a different religion. And you know that within the MAGA movement, like they're terrified of Muslims, like, oh God, you know, these Muslim countries are horrible. Sharia law is going to take over the United States. New York City already has all of this woke Sharia stuff going on with Zoran Mamdani, all this bullshit where these people are triggered, scared to death. But meanwhile, it's interesting to point out, While that is something that permeates that rabid Islamophobia in the MAGA movement, it's a big, big cohesive factor, one of the racist elements they like to collude with together, hating on Muslims. Donald Trump has been doing a lot of business with countries that are majority Muslim, Arab nations. He's gotten a plane. Jared Kushner's gotten a couple billion dollars. I mean, let's remember, you know, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, their main guy there, he killed an American journalist and like chopped him up, poured him into acid, made him into acid, poured him down the street. Like really crazy stuff that you saw in a movie. You would think there's no way that stuff would happen. And the American government partner with these people. Well, yeah, we do. And so now that we are colluding with Benjamin Netanyahu to make his 40-year dream of bombing Iran, to make his dream come true, when we know this is not going to help the United States of America, this is not going to help American citizens, this is not going to help the working class people, this will help the military industrial complex and the people who Trump is warning to play the stock market and all this insider trading stuff, right? So who benefits from this, from the war? Who does this benefit? Obviously, the first one is Benjamin Netanyahu, but it goes a lot deeper than this. And I found a video on Instagram by a political influencer, Sawyer Hackett, and I thought this was just excellent analysis. Play the clip. It's truly insane to me that we're all trying to analyze the goals and objectives for a war when the president personally has billions of dollars tied up in the region. Like, what am I supposed to make of the fact that Saudi Arabia urged Trump to attack Iran while they're bankrolling $10 billion in real estate projects for Trump's company or dropping $2 billion in Jared Kushner's investment firm? How do I assess that the UAE was privately lobbying Trump to bomb Iran when we found out just weeks ago that they dropped $500 million to buy a 50% share in Trump's crypto company? How should I think about the Qataris pitching Trump on a new vision of Iran as an energy, tech, and financial capital after they spent $400 million buying Trump a jumbo jet and are spending $5.5 billion on a real estate and golf deal with him? And Israel is its own thing entirely. Trump has pretty much admitted that we bombed Iran on behalf of Israel. But do we ignore the fact that Trump took $230 million in campaign contributions from pro-Israel groups? Do we ignore the fact that Eric Trump just invested in a $1.5 billion deal with an Israeli drone company? One of the reasons that cable news coverage of this war has been so garbage is that analyzing this war from the perspective of a military or diplomatic standpoint makes zero sense, especially when you understand that Trump has his own personal relationships with each and every one of these countries, and he only ever acts in his self-interest. Okay, so I think that's really fascinating analysis because we have seen that ever since Trump came into office you have his son dumb and dumber colluding with these really really wealthy GCC countries benefiting themselves We all know famously after Trump 1 that Jared Kushner pocketed a couple of billion dollars, right? And then we know that AIPAC and Benjamin Netanyahu gave Trump, that was the candidate they wanted over Kamala Harris. They wanted a man who who is a convicted felon who riled up an insurrection on January 6th, but they want to tell us, oh, we believe in democracy. We're the only democracy in the Middle East. Yes, we prefer your convicted felon president because he'll let us commit more crimes in the region. So you have all of this conflict of interest, and it's very obvious that Trump is so easily manipulated that gets pulled in all directions. So I'm going to try to break this down for you guys. Sawyer spoke about the way the media covers it. And Sky News put out the following tweet. Sky News ended up deleting it. Okay. But I want to read to you what it said. It said two Israeli soldiers killed as attacks in Lebanon leave nearly 400 dead. Now leave this up, Kylie. They got a community note and they ended up deleting it. But this is incredibly important of the way the Western media is always framing this shit. Two Israeli soldiers killed. So let's get clear here. Israel is attacking Lebanon, but Sky News says this attack leaves nearly 400 Lebanese people dead. And it's all of this is the inverse. The Israelis killed 400 in Lebanon. So why you don't get the news the way you're supposed to get it is because everybody has all of their interests out there. We know that Ellison, the Ellison family has purchased CBS and we have a hardcore hardline right-wing Zionist Barry Wise, who is just giddy over this war with Iran that will not benefit Americans, period. It will not help working class Americans get higher wages. It will not help your prices go down. And this is the way the media covers this, always providing cover for Israeli war crimes and pitching us this lie that they're this beacon of democracy. Yet when they had a chance to support a presidential candidate in the United States, they chose the criminal, the guy who bankrupts shit, the guy who commits war crimes himself, the guy who got impeached twice. And then they want to lecture us that, oh, we're this beacon of democracy in the Middle East. It's such garbage. But they not only buy President Trump's reelection campaign to the tune of $230 million dollars. They also buy off American politicians. And I mean, Lady Graham is just, he must be the easiest person on the planet to manipulate. And so Lindsey Graham has this full blown like Israeli psychosis, in my opinion. I want to remind you, he is a Senator of the state of South Carolina. He does nothing to better the lives of South Carolinians. He does nothing to lower their prices. He does nothing to help people in South Carolina that live below the poverty line get ahead. His number one thing that he does all of the time is Israel thumps. And he has said he goes to Israel twice a month How on earth this helps the people of South Carolina is utterly beyond me I can only deduce or imagine does Mossad have some shit of Lindsey Graham doing gay stuff And so that why he all into this Because everybody already knows you're gay, Lindsey. You don't need to execute all of these war crimes on behalf of Israel. But his Israeli psychosis continues. Here he is in American media saying the following shit last night. Play the clip. Bless Israel. We should move all our stuff to Israel. Thank you. I mean, it's just, he is just insane. So he has been on this media tour talking about now he wants to bomb Cuba and, you know, we're bombing Iran. He is an absolutely, utterly insane person that happens to be a United States Senator. And I want to be crystal clear about this. He does not give a shit about South Carolina. He cares about this weird, untenable global domination by the United States that is only going to destabilize these regions, cause more immigration around the world that then feeds more of this xenophobic fascism. That's the moral of the story. And so Lindsey Graham puts out this tweet to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yesterday. All right. And he says, the American embassy is being evacuated in Riyadh because of sustained attacks by Iran against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He says, it is my understanding the kingdom refuses to use their capable military as part of an effort to end the barbaric and terrorist Iranian regime who has terrorized the region and killed seven Americans. Question. Why should America do a defense agreement with a country like the kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is unwilling to join in a fight of mutual interest? Americans are dying and the U.S. is spending billions to dislodge the terrorist Iranian regime that threatens the region. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. He goes on. So basically he's trying to publicly call out the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is a member of the GCC states and is basically the reason that Saudi Arabia is taking hits in this war is because there are American military bases there. And Saudi Arabia wasn't counseled on this war. This is something that Bibi and dipshit pudding boy Kanks went into impulsively because BB was like, this is my chance. Biden told me no. Obama told me no. Bill Clinton told me no. George W. Bush told me no. He got a rock out of George W. Bush. But this is his last chance. BB's not a spring chicken, 40-year dream. Trump is dumber than a box of hot rocks and the easiest thing on the planet to dog walk, not to mention he probably, BB has compromising video of Trump doing something with Jeffrey Epstein. Dog walks him into this war. So Lindsey Graham wants everybody to pile on Iran. And these GCC states don't want to do this. They don't want any part of this. And so Lindsey Graham gets a response from, pop this up, from a billionaire in the UAE, Khalaf Ahmad Al-Habtour. He says, I heard the statements of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, in which he calls on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, that's the GCC listener, to enter this war, saying that we are under attack and that we must all join the fight. And I say to him clearly, we know full well why we are under attack. And we also know who dragged the entire region into this dangerous escalation without consulting those he calls allies in the region So keep this up Kelly I want to unpack this because this is so important to understand The GCC states, he is saying, we know why we're being attacked and it's because the United States and Israel acted unilaterally without consulting their allies and started bombing the shit out of Iran. Well, Iran is not going to ship missiles all the way across the Atlantic to bomb the United States when they can bomb our military embassies, et cetera, in the region. Because we're all over that place, right? So this guy is saying, F you, you brought us into here. You're the one who are getting us attacked. You betrayed us. He goes on to say, we thank God that the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council, the GCC countries, are doing well, and we have no need for someone who claims he came to the Middle East to save us. The truth is that hasty American decisions are what embroiled the region in a war whose peoples were not party to its decision making and its local allies were not consulted before it was launched. So this is so important to understand. Bibi and Trump thought, okay, we're going to attack Iran. And then Iran's going to start hitting UAE. They're going to start hitting the KSA. And they did. Iran did start hitting it. But the GCC states were like, wait a minute. You're the one who are exposing all of us to this. You never even consulted us. So their plan to drag everybody into this World War III so that Benjamin Netanyahu who could further Balkanize the Middle East, backfired and backfired spectacularly. And the Strait of Hormuz is being closed, oil spiking out the wazoo, so much so that now we're having to collude with Russia, who bizarrely is the ally of Iran. So if you think this war makes no sense, if you think who does this benefit, and you think all of these crazy, insane things about it, Your thoughts are spot on. You have two war criminals, Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump colluding for their own self interests. But Donald Trump is so fucking stupid. All of these people in the GCC states that came and kissed the ring to him and thought, oh, we really got us. We got us a big fish here that we can manipulate. So they do all these deals with him. Here's your plane. Here's billion dollar contracts for dumb and dumber, your dipshit sons, your Nepo baby sons so that they can be billionaires too. Here's billions of dollars for your dipshit son-in-law. And they're just like playing this guy like a fiddle, right? What does Trump do? Throws them all under the bus and unleashes psychopathic, homicidal, lunatic, BB Netanyahu in the region. And now the GCC states are like, F you. Like, no, we're not getting drug into this. So it's really, really fascinating stuff. But at the end of the day, it's going to be interesting to see how Trump gets out of this, because Bibi will want to quadruple down on this thing. So stay tuned. We'll keep trying to unpack it. There is no clear objective for the United States military here, other than to do what Benjamin Netanyahu instructs them to do. be crystal clear about that. All right, that's all I have. Like, subscribe, comment. I'll be back later with more news.
