And today we're answering an important question. Right Daniel? That's right. What do wise leaders do after they earn? Quick checking friends. Now for the quick checking. Take a deep breath and say, I'm ready to build. One, two, three. I'm ready to build. How do you feel? Excited? Nervous? Giggly? Today I feel grateful to be here and a little silly too. All right, legacy leaders. Wonderful. Now I know we're ready to go on an adventure together. Friends, imagine this. You tried your first mini business. Maybe you helped someone. Maybe you organized something. Maybe you created something helpful. And someone says, thank you so much. Here's a few dollars. Yes, or maybe someone gives you something special for your work. And suddenly you wonder, what should I do with it? Yes, I've thought that before. Legacy leaders today were learning something very important. Wise leaders do three things with what they work hard to earn. They save, they spend wisely, and they give. Daniel, is it time for the story of the day yet? Absolutely, little sister. Start up the time machine. It's time to rewind the clock. Hold on tight, legacy leaders. We're going back in three, two, one. Wow, Daniel. Look at where we are. It's beautiful here. Everything feels calm and right. This place is full of good decisions. Where are we? Oh, look. It's a message from Leo and Lily. And Leo has his idea notebook again. But look, today there's something else on the table. Three jars. One says save, one says spend, and one says give. Daniel, read this special note that Leo left for us. Sure, listen friends. It says, when you earn something, you don't use it all in the same place. Hmm, that's very interesting. Oh, look. Lily drew a picture of coins divided into three little piles. See, separated them wisely. That's right, friends. Some goes to savings. Saving means preparing for the future. You might save money in a bank account or savings account or an investment account that earns interest. Some families also invest money like owning small pieces of companies through stocks or long term investments. Saving helps you be prepared for tomorrow, for your future. And some goes into spending wisely. This other pile means using money carefully for things that truly matter. For example, if you run a small business selling lemonade, bracelets, or baked goods, or whatever you can imagine, you might need to buy ingredients or supplies first. Entrepreneurs call that inventory and stock. You can buy supplies for less money, then sell your products for a little more. That difference is called profit. Ooh, we like profit. And the other pile is giving, helping others, supporting someone in need, or supporting a special cause. You could give to your church or charity, or help a cause that improves the world. Some people even build big projects to help others. Like digging wells so families can have clean water. When we are blessed, we can bless adults. That's right. Look here, Leo wrote something smart on the next page. It says, money is a tool, and tools are meant to be used wisely. Well, wise words, Leo. That's right, Destiny. Those are wise words. And listen here, saving prepares you. Spending wisely helps you live responsibly. Giving helps you care for others. And when leaders practice all three, their lives become balanced and meaningful.
