•Apr 15, 202613 days agoSummary
Bruce Prichard and JBL preview WrestleMania 42, discussing the card's strength, celebrity involvement (Pat McAfee, Jelly Roll), and historical significance. They break down JBL's top five WrestleMania matches and interview Heritage Auctions about wrestling memorabilia being showcased at WrestleCon.
Insights
- WrestleMania's integration of mainstream celebrities and sports personalities (Pat McAfee, Tom Brady potential) is driving media presence across ESPN and mainstream sports channels, fundamentally changing how wrestling reaches new audiences
- Long-term storytelling across multiple WrestleManias (Cody/Randy, Roman/Punk) is intentionally extended to maintain fan engagement and merchandise sales rather than resolving storylines quickly
- Ring-worn wrestling memorabilia without authentication is commanding significant market value ($300K-$500K+ estimates), indicating a maturing collector market that values provenance and historical significance over autographs alone
- The wrestling business has shifted from taboo industry status in the 1990s to mainstream acceptance, with talent now appearing across ESPN, Netflix, and major sports media platforms
- Lucha Libre (AAA) is experiencing a creative renaissance with behind-the-scenes contributions from WWE talent (Undertaker, Jeremy Borash) and is being positioned as a premium product competing with WWE

Hello, I'm here with Jose Mourinho and Snickers for Football's Rapid Fire On or Off Your Game. Right, Jose, you've got one or two opinions on football, so I want you to tell me whether the following is On or Off It's Game. First up, VAR. Off the game. Half and half scarves? Off the game. What about backflip celebrations? Off. Cutting holes in the back of your socks? Off, off, off the game. What I hate, even the ones without calves, they do the holes. Snickers. You are off your game when you are hungry. Today's episode comes to you from the Blue Chew Studio right now and you buy two months of Blue Chew Gold, you get the third for free with the promo code wrestle at bluechew.com. Welcome to something to wrestle with. Welcome to Rebel with. Birds, pretzels, who's for you? Well, you know that's not a rib. What a rib? No, you haven't been. There's no box of gimmicks. Bermond in your window. Don't deal in rumor. And you went in and was he there? I was there. He turned some of us. I don't give a shit. Welcome to something to wrestle with. Something to wrestle with. Something to wrestle with. Bruce Prichard. It's Conrad, the mortgage guy, and we are live at something to wrestle.com. And of course, we couldn't do it without your friend in mind. JBL, John Bradshaw, Layfield, Mr. Layfield. How are you? Concerning Bradshaw 316 says I just stole your fucking podcast. And you've been doing it for quite a while, rocking the stories with Frisco and Bradshaw. Yes, sir. Hey, if you can't get enough JBL, can I remind you that he's got another podcast with all the famous Gerald Briscoe. You don't want to miss that. You can catch it live anywhere. You enjoy your podcasts, YouTube, Spotify, Apple, everywhere else. But the entire wrestling world this week, John is talking about WrestleMania. It's WrestleMania week. And I got to tell you, we kicked off the week with a pretty bad ass weekend this past weekend. Not only did AEW have a phenomenal pay-per-view, but boy, AAA hit an absolute home run. You want to talk about an incredible show, Penta in the main event against Vikingo, but everybody's talking about the brawl with the El Grande Americanos. Again, making a presentation that the internet at first wasn't totally sold on, but you want to talk about bringing the heat. My goodness, what a show and what a brawl. I'm ready for the next one already. It's awesome. You know, they had El Ojito de Huevos, the, whatever, the eggs. I eggs, is that what it is? That's my Spanish is a little bit limited, but he's blind. And original Marigrande, original Maricano Grande beat him up. He didn't, he never saw it coming. Yeah, it was. And I said that there, it is like people like throwing frisbees and people sitting down like, hey, he didn't see it coming. He didn't see it coming. He didn't see it coming. No, doing your very. It was actually actually pulls a blind comedian over the rail, who's very popular in Mexico puts an ankle lock on him, beats him up. And then the young lady there, there's the El Fraud Americanos girlfriend, the ring announcer, and tried to slap El original Americano. And originally Maricano was going after the young lady, which is pretty bad. There he is, beating up the, the, the blind comedian. He blindsided him, as you might say. All right. And then the stock El original fraud Americanos girlfriend. And then here comes the El Fraud Americano flying and it turned into a pier six brawl is one of the best brawls I've seen. Yeah. Not just like over the weekend or this year, but one of the better brawls in wrestling history, and it actually resurfaced again during the main event. And I saw almost universal praise for the triple a show and specifically keeping praise on the undertaker. I don't think a lot of people would have had this on their bingo card. We knew that the real life undertaker was one heck of an in ring performer, but the idea that he's now contributing behind the scenes. And in Lucha Libre of all places, I think that's some people off off guard this week. I saw him one day he was working with a Pimpinella, who was the Exotica, as they say down there, and they had some like a scene going on or something there. And I said, I'm glad you're kicking it old school. I just laugh it. He's doing a great job down there. I mean, he is doing, he is in his sweet spot. And I watched him down there work and throw in Jeremy Borash as well, please, because Jeremy's doing an insane job down there with him as well. They both did together are incredible team, but they're doing a phenomenal job. I think it's the best show in wrestling. I think the characters there are terrific and they're doing great jobs with these storylines. Be sure to check out triple a and you may hear a familiar voice JBL pull in triple duty. You know, not only is he coming to a town near year, including WrestleCon this weekend. So if you're in Las Vegas, you got to go see my man JBL. Of course he's doing the podcast here with myself and of course Jerry Briscoe, but how about the voice of triple a? You know, we know that you were the voice of WWE for a long time. Has it been a big transition to get comfortable calling lucha? Yeah, a little bit, but not much. You know, I'm out there, Corey Graves is doing the play by play and he is excellent. I mean, just excellent. I always thought Michael Cole was the best. And I think Corey Graves is right up there with Michael and Conan, you know, unfortunately, he's had some health issues. So he's a little bit on the shelf right now. Hopefully he comes back, but Ray Mysterio has been doing commentary. Ray does. He's been doing an excellent job. Ray also translates the promos that are in Spanish and does a great job with it. I mean, it's been, it's been a lot of fun. You know, I said, it's kind of like riding a bicycle. Yeah, but it takes you a while to get steady. You know, it takes you a while to kind of get in the groove of when to hop in and when not to hop in, you know, it's, but it's common. It's, it's fun. I enjoy talking about it. And the best part about it is you got so many crazy wild characters. Yeah, it's just, it's fun calling the show. And the crowds are insane in Mexico. I've always enjoyed working in front of the crowds in Mexico, been working down there since the nineties when I was working with the Vampiro, had the title on me down there and worked with Vampiro, Milmoscaris and Super Porky, who was Sacco Clown's father, who's an absolute franchise right now, headline, more Russell triple mania than anybody else in Lucha history. It's just fun calling. It's just, you got so much difference down there. You know, it's just, it's a fun, fun show. Really help people will check it out. I will tell you, it's going to leave you wanting more. It feels like that time flies by. You know, there's a lot of shows that are two hours, three hours, five hours. And you're going to be wanting a little more triple A when it's done. And by the way, it's totally free. It's on YouTube. Go check out John doing, I guess we might call it his day job or is he moon lighting? Hell, I don't know. You got, I'm not sure which one's moonlight and which one's not, but it's fun. It is fun. And we are live here. We're going to be taking your questions. Keep those coming for JBL. Uh, we're going to be talking about WrestleMania and we're also going to be talking about WrestleMania past. We want to know what are your, some of your favorite moments in WrestleMania history. We're going to be breaking down some of John's favorite WrestleMania matches. We're doing an old school top five here today. And when you think about major moments or major matches, we just want to talk about and celebrate some of those big moments because history will be made this week. Uh, before we talk about this year's WrestleMania or we talk about WrestleMania in years past, I do want to hit right now on a couple of questions that we've got coming in. AOTV productions wants to know some fans believe triple H encourage CM punk to cut his latest pipe bomb on raw. What do you think? This has been interesting. A lot of people are curious. Hey, is this the beginning of a big storyline? Is this part of the unreal show? Is this all part of an elaborate plan? I like the idea that people are guessing. I think that's what we love most about wrestling. John, it keeps us all on our toes. We all want to believe. What do you make of what's going on right now? And that's what I was saying last week about, uh, Pat McAfee, you know, for one, I think we're very lucky to have Pat McAfee. You know, the guy is a massive star. It's like having the rock when he comes back, whether you like what he does or not, the fact that we got the biggest movie star in the world coming back. I think it's just fantastic. Same with Pat McAfee. It's great that WB has a star like this that comes and goes. And when you have got it's that big, you just let them do basically whatever they want to do. You're glad they come. Uh, but as far as the pipe bomb, I don't know because I wasn't there, but I'll tell you from the first pipe bomb, you know, they talked about how, you know, they're doing, if that had been a real pipe bomb and I'm not, not to anything away from the promo, by the way, I thought it was terrific and you have to deliver it. I like seeing punk did a great job. Vince McMahon would just cut off the cameras or just go into commercial. You know, obviously it was part of WB that Vince, that during that era, Vince didn't care what you said. I mean, you know, he'd say, what are you basically going to say for guys he trusts, you know, so see him punk had a lot of latitude stars that big always do. So I don't know if it was a matter of go out there and do a pipe bomb and you kind of expect something crazy to happen and you give him a lot of latitude. I expect that's probably what it was, but that's just a guess. That's an educated guess, but that's a guess. But I think that the, you know, when you create interests like this, I think they love it. You know, the main thing is, do you go out there? Do you create interest? Do you sell tickets and do you make a buzz from what you're doing? And I think seeing punk did all of that. I totally agree. I totally agree. I think that, um, I don't know that I have no inside knowledge. I don't know where it's going, but I will say, I think. I think this WrestleMania where some fans online right now have been sort of down on the build to the show. I want to encourage everybody, hey, keep an open mind with this show or, you know what, just watch it with your existing low expectations. I think it's going to super exceed everyone's expectations. When you look at this card and we're going to break it down shortly, John, this may be one of the stronger in ring cards that we've had in many history. I think. I think so too. You got some phenomenal workers. You got great storylines. I think it's great. Uh, you know, people are talking about the ticket sells and I'm not sure what they're going to end up being, you know, and I was talking to some guys, um, recently, you know, they think it's more as much of destination fatigue as anything else. I have no idea, uh, but they're going to make a ton of money. They're taking price. They're outrageous. And I think the buzz now that's being creative, it's good. People are saying, Oh, was this a shoot? Was this not a shoot? And who cares? People are talking about it. And that's what's good. Who would have known from you guys? What are you looking forward to seeing the most this WrestleMania weekend? Uh, is it a match on Saturday? Is it a match on Sunday? Is it something else? The entire wrestling world is going to be focused on Las Vegas. I think there's north of 70 events happening in Las Vegas that are sort of wrestling related this week. I did want to talk about this, uh, this outside forces conversation because obviously the WWE is in a full court press for media this week. You're seeing punk and, and Roman and, and Cody and others all doing lots of press. And specifically Cody was asked about these outside forces. And here's the quote from the rich eyes and show. So outside forces, you could look at this year and say, Hey, here's Pat McAfee. You could look at the year before and say, here's Travis Scott. You could look at the year before and say, here's the rock. You're Cody Rhodes fan during WrestleMania season. It's a choice. We deal with outside forces. We deal with, Hey, we want to be part. We're about it. And I can say this, it's a spot I always wanted. If you're going to be in the big moments, you have to be ready for the big jobs. Pat being part of ESPN and the fact that WWE WrestleMania is on ESPN for the first time ever, it's actually a natural fit. Does it fit in a 20 year wrestler student, teacher, mentor, all that? No. But Pat pure does think it does. And now Pat has the title. So we can tell that story another time. That story has also already been told. Let's figure out how this unfolds. I think this is the right approach. You know, listen, let's, let's play it out. And he's correct. We're, we're still going to get this. Pat or this Randy and Cody story with all the backstory. We just may get it. Maybe summer slam instead of WrestleMania. And you know what? It worked out last year. Just fine. I think we were all probably disappointed in John Cena and Cody Rhodes WrestleMania main event, but boy, they more than delivered at summer slam. So let's get the eyeballs. Let's get the attention. I think this is the right attitude for Cody to have right now. Don't you think? Yeah. Look, if fans were booking the territory that had the governor killed in the first week of the walking dead, instead of getting two seasons out of this great heel, you know, you've had enough of him. Are you going to watch when he gets killed? Oh yeah. I hate that guy. Right. That's the point. You know, you, if fans are booking this, the Agbar, you always tell me, you want to kill a territory, put the baby faces over, you know, and that's how you kill a territory. You let these storylines burn through in light speed and they do a good job. They've been an excellent job. WB of making these storylines last. I mean, you know, they didn't the last few years have booked from WrestleMania to WrestleMania a year storyline. And I think that's phenomenal. Do fans get a little somewhat tired of this? They want to see a conclusion. Yeah. But I want to see a conclusion of walking dead with the governor. I wanted the governor to die and he ended up dying and I was very happy about it. But it took these two seasons to be friend to not. I watched every single episode and I knew he wouldn't die in the middle of season. You know, people know it's not going to happen, you know, at a match before SummerSlam or before WrestleMania, before a big event, you know, it's going to happen at a big event and, uh, but people don't care. You know, I think they're doing a great job with the extension of these storylines. We're going to wait and see how it plays out. I know that, uh, you know, there were some fans who weren't happy when just the main event was announced. They were so, oh, I didn't want to see Cody and Randy or no, give me something new. And so then they pile in all the celebrity component of Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll and they don't like that either. Let's just play it. And we'll see what it looks like. You know, you and I sort of freestyle a few weeks ago when we saw the whole flag football thing flare up with Logan Paul and Tom Brady. Hey, you know, Tom Brady. He is one of the owners of the Las Vegas Raiders. And that is of course the home of WrestleMania. This feels like an opportunity for maybe the goat to be involved with WWE. And as it turns out, Charlotte Flair did an appearance on ESPN and was asked about Tom Brady and she said, I respect Tom and maybe he was trying to be funny. But I say this to any professional athlete and Tom is the greatest of all time. It's very different being in the ring than watching it and being like, it's cute. Tom, please come to WrestleMania. See what it's like. Take on Cody, Roman, anybody. I listen, Tom Brady is rarefied air when it comes to NFL royalty, but I for one really, really hope this happens. This feels like it could be, you want to talk about a WrestleMania moment. And I know that we're living in that right now, but this would be the, the modern equivalent of a guy like Muhammad Ali being involved at the very first WrestleMania. Don't you think? Absolutely. Yeah, no doubt about it. Yeah, being had Muhammad Ali, I mean, good grief. I was just looking at the original WrestleMania. And by the way, you know, we want to tell a story about how WrestleMania was almost named Layfield Mania. True story. Back of the day, we can talk about that. You had Billy Martin, you had Liberace. I mean, you had all these great celebrities. You know, go back to Jim Lando's back in the 30s when you had Primo Canera, you know, the headway champ of the world ends up in a ring wrestling ring with Jim Lando's. I mean, there's a lot of precedent for this. There's a lot of precedent for Tom Brady to be involved. And he seems like a really fun guy. Uh, you know, you look at the beautiful women he dates. He must be here. Of course, he's also rich guy too, but a lot of rich guys don't date supermodels all the time. Hey, he must be a fun guy. And I'd love to see him at WrestleMania. I got my fingers crossed. Somebody we're not going to see at WrestleMania is Stephen A Smith. He revealed this week on first take that WWE had reached out to him about being involved in an onscreen angle, but he's not as courageous as Pat McAfee is. Everybody's talking about Pat McAfee, including CM Punk, who did the All the Smoke podcast, and he was asked about the Pat McAfee piece of business. And he continued to talk about it. And he described Pat as being a tourist in wrestling. And I for one kind of think this is going to lead to some sort of, I don't know, team WWE versus team, I don't want to call it TKO Pat McAfee, something, but it does feel like this could be like a longer storyline. I have a sneaking suspicion that we're not going to see the end of Pat McAfee and WWE this weekend or even next month. I think this is the beat goes on. Let's say you I would be willing to bet on that. Yes. Yeah. I think this feels like there's an angle viewing ruin here that we don't know what it is that's underneath that's going to come to fruition at WrestleMania. No, I don't think it is. And Pat apparently is in some type of negotiation right now. What better way to be in negotiation than be all over the world? And look at what, look what WWE is doing right now. They're all over ESPN. I watch ESPN all the time. Look, look at they're all over ESPN. They're all over all these different sports channels. It is insane the presence of wrestling in media today. It just it was it's hard to believe that this is the same business that I was in back say the early nineties when nobody wanted a part of anything that we did. It was just kind of a taboo industry. And now everybody wants a part of it. But yes, I think there's some story line there. It certainly feels like it that is going to come to fruition. And it feels like it's something pulling up that could be really good. I'm pretty fired up to see where this story goes because it's got everybody guessing. Punk is on record is saying Pat's great at what he does, but Pat is not great at what we do. He disrespects the business and he says some things out of pocket. He's going to get checked and he's going to get checked by me. You can't be running your mouth about ticket sales and all this other stuff when you've never sold a ticket in your life. Curious to see where this is headed. Want to know what you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing Pat McAfee get this heartbeat out of him? Looks like that could be where it's heading. By the way, I know if Pat were listening to this show right now, he would be really in favor of our next sponsor on the show today. I'm talking of course about soul, the new mood gummies. So John, one of the things that I've always loved about WrestleMania weekend is we get the WWE Hall of Fame and you and I haven't spent much time talking about it this year. So I wanted to briefly mention it's going to be on ESPN unlimited. It's going to happen on Friday. That's the night before WrestleMania in Las Vegas. You've got two new hosts that have been announced today, Michael Cole and the Miz headlining. We've got Stephanie McMahon. AJ Styles is going to be there as well. Demolition finally going into the Hall of Fame. Our celebrity inductee is Dennis Robin. We think all of these folks are going to get time at the podium and get an opportunity to be inducted and take their rightful place into the WWE Hall of Fame. We're going to celebrate the immortal moment, the big match that goes in this year. They just started doing this last year with the incredible match from WrestleMania 13, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Brett the Hitman heart. Well, this year it's the main event from WrestleMania three, Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant are going to take their rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame for that legendary match. But there's two legacy inductees, Bad News Brown going in this year alongside Sid Vicious with not one, but two WrestleMania main events under his belt. This is a pretty bad ass class man. People have been clamoring for demolition forever. It's really nice that we're getting the opportunity to see AJ go in and fire it up for bad news and fire it up for Sid. I'm looking forward to this. Yeah, I am too. I think all these inductees are well deserved and could have gone in many years before all of them. I think it's, you know, Ted DiBiase put out something about Dennis Rodman. I didn't realize he wasn't in the NBA Hall of Fame. Apparently he's not, right? Which is kind of crazy. I mean, yeah, it was one of the heart and souls of the Chicago Bulls and the bad boys. Surprised me. But yeah, I think Rodman's a great inductee. I think all of the inductees are tripping. I think AJ Styles to me, kind of like when Brady retired. You know, Brady led the league in passing the year he retired. And wow, dude, come on. I know you're a hundred years old, but you got to keep wrestling. AJ's, you know, still not an old man. He's certainly his body's not. He may feel like it inside. You know, I don't know. You never know what a guy is going through inside. He's had a lot of hard wrestling matches for a long time. But AJ Styles has never been better. He's just, he's fantastic. I mean, the guys, I've always said he was this generation, Sean Michaels. And I think he is. I've never seen him have a bad match. I got to call it kind of his matches. I like the whole class and, and for Bill and Barry Darceau, those are two really good dudes, you know, I know Barry a little bit better than I know Bill because my association with Brad Rhygens. And I'm really happy for those guys. You know, there was an old lawsuit that had gone on with them events and a lot of hard feelings. And so I can understand why Vince didn't want to put them in the hall of fame because of the personal reasons. Uh, but now that, uh, you know, Vince is out of the picture that, you know, they're welcomed into the hall of fame and they should be. Don't mean to correct the million dollar man, Ted D B Ossie, but Dennis Rodman was put into the basketball hall of fame back in what dumb ass Ted D B Ossie, what the hell's wrong with him? You can say that. I'm not going to say that. Uh, Ted, Ted's got to be happy. His boy, his boy was a exonerated and found not guilty. So I thought they'd put that on social media. So maybe it was like a social media from, uh, like a 86 or something. Maybe he had Twitter back then. I don't know. Well, I think what, what he was saying, I do remember seeing there was a, I saw a recap of a clip of his podcast, but I just read the text recap version. And I think it basically said, Hey, he doesn't belong in the pro wrestling hall of fame. You know, that's not what it's about. And, and I, you know, listen, it's not for you to say that or Ted said, I thought Ted was saying he wasn't in the NBA hall of fame. He was saying that he should. I read the whole damn thing wrong. I've been drinking a lot. I've been, I'm drunk now. Well, you know what? Lord bless you. We love you drinking. I mean, listen, if you're going to start playing poker, we're just going to ask that Ron joined you and we'll watch that. We'll all be, oh yes. Uh, I don't know who'd like that more. You or us, uh, either way, you can see both of those guys at wrestle con this weekend. Something else you'll be able to see at wrestle con is some really great memorabilia. We've been doing a really fun segment where we discover. I don't know where some of these lost items have been. And we're going to have some really, really cool information about things you can see at wrestle con. Uh, here in just a couple of moments, our buddy Tony from heritage auctions will be joining us, but we do have another question about a piece of business that. It's kind of belt related. Cool, full 1980 is with us here live on YouTube. And he says, what are JBL thoughts on modern title designs? I'm personally not a fan. And my favorite was the O2 to O5 WWE championship that JBL also held. So he really likes the undisputed title that you held. Was there a favorite design of yours through the years? And what do you think about the pivot to basically the giant WWE logo? Yeah, there's a, as you can see, they're up there as the, uh, the old, uh, original title up there by the old San Antonio football helmet. My, my, uh, general Gion, my terracotta warrior there with my cowboy at home. Yeah, I like the old title. I, you know, storyline wise, I've hated the spinner belt. I didn't really hate it. And, you know, it's, you know, that's part of what you do. And when you, when you change and you're trying to get a different audience and, and things like that, I, I like the older belts. I really don't like the new ones as much. I think, you know, I don't think there's much, uh, personality to them. You know, I'm, I saw, uh, Jim Londo's daughter brought, uh, his old belt. To the Waterloo, Iowa Hall of Fame last year. And it was, it was like one of those smaller belts, you know, like, like Fez had, and I thought it was really cool. You know, I thought the old Jack Brescoe belt was really cool. I think the old WWE belt, the one that's up there. It's really cool. I'm not really a fan of these new title belts. And, and plus now everybody's getting them with, you know, you know, you went to Super Bowl, you went on a day tour. I think it's great, by the way, but I don't like the design as much. I think the old throwback design and maybe it's cause I'm old. I don't know. You know, maybe the young people liked the new ones. I don't like them. I think the old school style belts are better. You're a belt, uh, fishy Nato. What do you like? Yeah. Listen, I like the old belts too. And speaking of old belts, I think we've, uh, we've actually got a little footage of one that we're going to be sharing as a part of a new segment on the show here, WrestleWorth. John, you can kind of describe it as like antique road show for Rastlin memorabilia. We're going to go ahead and show some different items here and get a valuation from our resident expert, Tony from Heritage auctions. Tony, what's going on man? How are you? I am so excited to go to WrestleCon tomorrow. Um, everything's packed up, ready to go and, uh, looking forward to it. We're excited to, uh, to see some of the things that you're going to have at WrestleCon. I know that you're going to have quite a display. And I think, uh, our producer, Silva actually has some photos of some items that we're going to see at WrestleCon. So if you're in the Las Vegas area, you should certainly make a V line over to see JBL and Ron Simmons, but then go check out the Heritage auctions booth. They're going to have a lot of really great memorabilia. Art Tony, our producer, Silva, he's going to show us some images. And if you could just sort of tell us what exactly we're looking at and, and, and what the significance of it is, it'll kind of be a preview for what fans can expect at WrestleCon. Absolutely. So this is Hulk Hogan's personal gym clock. This, this thing goes back about 30 years that Hogan earned it. I mean, that he owned it. Uh, really cool inscription. He signed a front and the back, which is, you know, um, I just love that he wrote. He almost wrote a story to it. Uh, and this one here is going to be coming up in our May catalog sales. It's going to be at WrestleCon. Estimate on that is $2,000. It's a great photo of Hogan, uh, actually with the clock, but the thing that really drives this one is the inscription that he wrote, which is amazing. And, uh, just a really cool clock that he owned for quite a long time. Yeah. What a cool item that these personal items like that. I don't know. They just hit differently. I really dig that. Let's take a look and see, uh, what else we're going to see at WrestleCon. Oh, yeah. So this was actually, uh, the, the consigner caught this at a house show in Virginia. I think it was. And so we had him do a notarized letter. And of course it's got the holes in the back. And, uh, if you look really close, you can see where he ripped it off. Uh, we're starting to see Hulk Hogan, anything ring worn, obviously with the boot selling for the million dollars. Um, you're seeing a lot of, um, people trying to get any of his stuff, especially the yellow and red. Um, this is kind of the heyday of Hulk Hogan 1986 at a house show. So it was a really cool story. The guy who got it, uh, somebody offered him $60 for an app of venue. He didn't take it. And a lady, an old lady next to him actually asked if she could smell it. And he let her do it. And, and, uh, he was saying that it smelled like perfume, I guess, or cologne. So kind of a cool Hulk Hulk Hogan item. And this one's got a $10,000 estimate, but I could see it doing much, much more because that is Hulk Hogan, heyday Hulk Hogan. Yeah. So if you're listening just audio only, we're looking at a modified yellow Hulkamania t-shirt, clearly ring worn by Hulk Hogan. The sleeves are cut out. The neck is cut out. It's got the, I don't know. You might call it the vents in the back. Uh, and it looks like there may be even, uh, is that so, is that a stain or is that just a tear there in the corn? Well, what they did is they actually put, um, a safety pin on it to keep it together. But, um, that's, that's what you're seeing from where he tore it off. That's really, really cool. You can see this, of course, at WrestleKind. Uh, so cool to think that that's a, an OG Hulkamania shirt. And what else is interesting to me, if I'm honest with you, Tony, is I just assumed. For this to be an auction item that it would need to be autographed. So the idea that it's not autograph is interesting to me because it proves that, you know, there's a much bigger market out here for ring worn. That's different than just an autographed item. What else do we have this week at WrestleCon? So the Macho Man, we've, we've, so we've been selling the Macho Man's collection over the span of like two years now. And the, um, the family rep is actually bringing this down today to Vegas. It's, this is his quote unquote rookie robe, the gold, the 24 karat gold robe. This is the earliest known Macho Man ring worn, um, robe. It's from circa 1977, but he also, um, he used this for an extended period of time. earliest roll, but he also wore this in the 80s. And I've, I've been told, um, that he did wear this in the WWF as well. So, uh, we've had such good success with the Macho Man's collection. And this one here is going to be on display. And at some point, uh, we will be selling this and I think it's a record for a Macho Man robe for 86,000. Previously, the robe that he was wearing on his Opeachy rookie card, this one actually predates that one. So, um, the Macho Man, you know, he wore colorful outfits. This is the beginning of the Macho Man. So very excited. That's going to be on, that's going to be at WrestleCon. People can take photos with it. We're also going to have the, the Hulk Hogan WrestleMania one boots. And we got a really cool belt that we're going to have to the, uh, United States heavyweight title, the WCW one. So I'm really excited and it's going to be a fun event. Uh, last year, the crowds were just amazing and I'm anticipating it being the same way this year. So it's going to be a, just, uh, it's, you know, it's going to be a whirlwind because it's here and gone so fast. It seems like, but we're very excited to be there. Can't wait to get set up and get this thing really rolling. Yeah. What a setup, John. You know, you think about WrestleCon and obviously it's a who's who or professional wrestlers. I think there's going to be hundreds of different individual talent at WrestleCon. But then you've got all this wrestling history represented at the WrestleCon booth. I mean, boots from the first WrestleMania ring worn savage and Hogan stuff, a WCW ring, news belt. This is going to be one of the cooler displays. I think they've ever had a restaurant. Yeah. I think it is. And you know, got a lot of old history with a bunch of like a hundred year old wrestlers going to be there too. You know, those guys are, you got a bunch of old history that's walking around on two legs. No, I'm looking forward to it. Like Tony, are you staying at the horseshoe? I will be at the horseshoe. I get in tomorrow night. Yeah. I do too. Sometime tomorrow, I got to fly through somewhere in Lake tomorrow night. Yeah. I'm really looking forward to it. I really want to get this set up and make it look really, really good. We're going to have some of Matt Cardona's figures as well at Russell Khan. So it's a really cool cross section of wrestling history. We're going to have some cards there. Obviously, we're going to have some of the ring worn memorabilia, which we're very, very excited to have. And it'll be fun. I, you know, as this keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger, I'm anticipating there's going to be a lot more wrestling only shows. It's so popular, so well attended. And I think it's going to be just a crazy, crazy packed event. You got any miniature attending beds you're selling for Matt? Not quite, not quite, but we have some of his prototype figures, which I bet you do, you little Vixen. You're also great. I love all this stuff. I love all the history stuff. It's fun to me to see it. I love all the stuff. You know, it's just amazing to me because I've said this every time you've come on, we, we never thought of anything about it. You know, what do you think about collecting stuff or keeping stuff or anything? You know, we just, and now all of a sudden it's all become this memorabilia auction items and it's hard to believe. It's really hard to believe that it's developed as fast as it has. Back five years ago, this did not have anywhere near the value that it does now. And, you know, I think as wrestling is so mainstream that the prices are up and the prices are up on everything, on the cards, on the tickets. Obviously, on the ring worn items too. And it's, it's really going to be interesting to see how this developed as, you know, as time passes because I don't think anybody could have thought that it would turn into what it has in such a short amount of time. Yeah. You know, I was at a event the other day up in somewhere up in Canada and I was with Ray Bore, you know, the great defensive hockey player and terrific, you know, Hall of Famer. I mean, how many Hall of Famers got 18ers? I'm sorry, all pros, all, I mean, all pro games he was in, 18ers, whatever it was. It's unbelievable record. Great guy. And I got him to sign a hockey puck. You know, I never get people to sign anything. And I thought, you know, I got, I'm sorry to, I'll never sell it because, you know, it's for me, my office, but it's fun collecting that stuff. You know, never once in a while now I do get some stuff from people, which I never did before. Now I'm starting to fill up my office and kind of enjoy it, you know, that, hey, that's from so-and-so. Nobody comes down here but me and my rescue cat named Briscoe. I will say this, there's so much history up in Canada through the years and we go up there a lot for our sports shows and wrestling is, there's, you know, the LJN figures, the hardest to find ones were issued only in Canada. So a lot of history, a lot of wrestling history. Obviously, Andre the Giant was up there for a long time and the Maple Leaf Garden, I mean, you've got just so much up there and some of the promotions that were run, Stu Hart and everything like that. There's just, there's a lot of wrestling collectors north of the border. Well, go ahead, go ahead, Carmen. No, listen, I'm pretty excited that you're going to have my WCW United States Bell on display at WrestleCon. We have decided that we're going to move forward. It is going to be a part of the May auction over heritage auctions, but I thought to celebrate the anniversary of WrestleMania 17, because this year is the 25 year anniversary. I'm not committing that I'm going to auction this, but I am curious if I could get you to evaluate what my belt is worth. So I'm going to show you a little bit of footage. This comes from the old ad free shows, which is now ring classics.com. We used to have a series over there, Tony, called title chase, where we would sort of share some of my ring use belt collection and tell the story of how I acquired them and how they were manufactured and things like that. So I'm going to play a little video here that Tony's going to get to review and then tell us what he thinks it's worth, but you may have something on your shelf at your house and you're curious, Hey, what is this worth? Well, send us your pictures, send us your video, send us your story, your details of how you acquired it to wrestleworth at gmail.com. And we could feature one of your items next week. I know we've already got a couple of really cool ones lined up for next week, but if you're curious what's something that you've collected through the years, maybe worth, send us the pictures, send us the story, wrestleworth at gmail.com. So without further ado, Tony, take a look at this belt and let me know what you think. Value are the matches in moments it represents. And this particular belt we're covering today was front and center for some of the most iconic moments in WWE history. 1998 was a very important year for the World Wrestling Federation. At WrestleMania 14, Stone Cold Steve Austin began the Austin era by winning the WWF championship. As we mentioned, the next night on Raw, Mr. McMahon would present his new champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin, with what collectors simply know as the blue block big eagle. It's a mouthful. That's the beginning of the big Eagles run, but technically a different belt. Austin would lose that title after 91 days to Kane and King of the Ring and Pittsburgh, but tonight most fans remember for the most infamous Hell in a Cell match of all time. Austin regained the title the following night to begin his second title run. But by the time the title was vacated on September 27th at break down in your house, the smoking skull belt was being used. At Survivor Series 1998, a new WWF champion was crowned in the deadly game tournament and the big eagle made its return. But this big eagle had a few noticeable changes. The old block logo was now a scratch logo. The leather had gone from blue to black as well. And the Rock was the first to hold it, winning his first World Championship that night in the Kiel Center in St. Louis. For the record, he also turned heel that night. The trend we would see with the big eagle. The Rock would become synonymous with the big eagle and the belt felt like a representation of the Attitude Era as well. Although it wasn't the first World title with the scratch logo, it was the first non custom version of the World belt with that logo. At the very next pay-per-view, what was traditionally an in-your-house event was named Rock Bottom. The Rock opened the show wearing that beautiful belt and he was supposed to be a heeled, but most fans loved him even more than before. Rock appeared to lose the title to mankind that night, but Vince McMahon said the Rock didn't tap out or get pinned, so he was still champion. By WrestleMania 15, the Rock defended the big eagle against his nemesis, Stone Cold Steve Austin, their first of a trilogy of matches on the grandest stage of them all. The championship looked great on the Rock as both JR and the King would tell us that night. The Rock, the number one man in this business, and the reason is over his shoulder. And even you got it, Vince, JR. It looked so good over the shoulder of the Rock. Mr. McMahon didn't agree, but he couldn't stop Austin 316 from winning on that night. On March 29th, 1999, on Raw as War, the new WWF champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin, opened the show, walked out with the big eagle and said this belt wasn't worth all the trouble. And I saw this WWF belt sitting there. I thought to myself, that damn thing ain't worth all the trouble. He relinquished the championship belt, but not the championship. He just wanted a smoking skull title back, but that's a future episode of title chase. But from that night for the next few months, the big eagle was off TV. The championship next changed hands on May 23rd, 1999, when the Undertaker defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin on pay-per-view to begin his third title reign. Sadly, that was over the edge of 1999. The night we lost Owen Hart. The next night on Raw, storylines were suspended and the show was dedicated to the late great Owen Hart and the Undertaker didn't appear. It was decided that his character wouldn't be appropriate for this setting. When storylines resumed a week later on May 31st, the Undertaker opened the show with Paul Bear carrying the smoking skull championship. But a week later on June 7th from Boston, it was the night where we learned the identity of the higher power. And as we see Paul Bear make his way to the ring, he is carrying the WWF championship, but this week it was the big eagle instead. Austin would win the title back on June 28th, only 36 days after losing it in Charlotte, North Carolina. But he would lose the title on August 22nd at Summerslam in a triple threat match with Mankind and Triple H where Jesse the body Ventura served as special guest referee. Mankind would win that match and begin his third reign. It ended just one night later. Triple H won the world championship for the first time on August 23rd 1999 at Rawis war in Ames, Iowa by defeating Mankind. But 22 days after that, he lost the title on September 16th episode of SmackDown. Triple H debuted his own version of the title during his 1999 reign. This championship is notable because it had a blue suede backing. The person who defeated him was none other than WWF Chairman Vince McMahon. The chairman vacated the title just four days later on Raw, setting up a six pack challenge for the title at the next pay per view. The main event and unforgiven included the big show, Kane, Mankind, the rock, Triple H and the British Bulldog. Triple H would win the title for the second time that night in the hometown of his hero, Charlotte, North Carolina. The big eagle we're examining today first made its appearance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 31st, 2000 in front of a sellout crowd of 13,545 fans. The main event that night would see Cactus Jack substituting for Kane to challenge our world champion, Triple H for the world title. But eventually the radicals in cactus would gang up on our champion who happened to be debuting this version of the big eagle. This version was different in that it featured white paint on the WWF logos and that white paint would remain in use until the belt's retirement in 2002. Although this belt wouldn't quite make it to 2002. Interestingly enough, just a few days after this particular version was debuted, Vince McMahon would announce the XFL. So some of his ideas were better than others. The first pay per view appearance for this particular big eagle was No Way Out 2000, where we would see the World Wrestling Federation Champion Triple H, pin cactus jacket and an incredible hell in a sale match that people still talk about to this day. It's most notable because this was supposed to be Mick Foley's retirement match. Of course, as with most wrestling retirements, it didn't last. But this championship belt would. The second WrestleMania appearance for the big eagle, but this particular championship's first WrestleMania was WrestleMania 2000. What's notable about that night is the Triple H came to the ring wearing the title along with his wife Stephanie carrying her women's championship at the time, something we had never seen at a WrestleMania before. What was also notable about that event is that a heel retained the title in the main event. After Vince McMahon screwed the rock, that's exactly what happened for the first time ever at a WrestleMania. Hunter's third reign here would last 118 days, but the rock got his come upence and won his fourth world title on April 30th in Washington, D.C. at Backlash. He held the title for 21 days before dropping it back to Triple H on May 21st at Judgment Day in Louisville, Kentucky in a 60 minute Ironman match with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee. The rock won the big eagle back on June 25th at King of the Ring, cutting Hunter's fourth reign short at just 35 days. And this would start the rock's record tying fifth reign. That night, the rock would tie both Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart as a five time champion. And it happened when the rock pinned Vince McMahon in a six man tag team match where the world title was on the line. Boy, things were changing and wrestling. 119 days later, the WWF ran a pay-per-view on October 22nd in Albany, New York. It was called No Mercy. And after that night, Kurt Angle submitted his rookie year in the history books by winning the WWF World Championship for the first time. That's right. This particular big eagle was Kurt Angle's first world title. Kurt held the title for the next three months, proving on more than one occasion that his win wasn't a fluke. Notably on December 10th, Kurt would defeat five other top contenders and a Hell in a Cell match to keep his championship at Armageddon 2000 from Birmingham, Alabama. Yes, yet another Hell in a Cell for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. This one perhaps most famous for Rikishi's sawdust bump. Who booked this shit? Kurt Angle the next month at Royal Rumble would successfully defend his title against Triple H. He had Trish Stratus in his corner. Stephen McMahon was cornering Triple H, of course, as we march towards WrestleMania 17, no way out 2001 would take place. And the Rock would find himself challenging Kurt Angle for the world title. This would be the debut of the Ankle Lock Finisher, but it's not enough for the Rock. The Rock would go on to become a six time WWF champion that night, which was the new record. Something special happened between this pay-per-view and WrestleMania X7. The WWF championship became one of two world title belts in the promotion. That's because as we all know, on March 23rd, the WWF fought WCW and all of its assets on the final Nitro March 26th Booker T won the WCW title from Scott Steiner. And no one reasonably would argue that the WCW title was on the same level as the WWF title at the time, but it marked the beginning of something unique for the company, two world champions, Booker T and the Rock. Of course, we're in a collision course for perhaps the greatest WrestleMania of all time. It was marked with that phenomenal My Way video that we all remember from Limp Bizkit and who could forget Jim Ross's sit down interview that aired on SmackDown between the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. It is to this day, perhaps the best WrestleMania build of all time between two of its biggest stars, the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The collision happened in Austin's home state of Texas at the Houston Astrodome. In front of an incredible sold out capacity crowd, this is perhaps the peak of the WWF's pinnacle. Stone Cold Steve Austin would be challenging the Rock for the world title. This particular Big Eagle we're discussing today. Even the graphics for that match were designed around the Big Eagle Championship belt. And Austin would win for the fifth time that night and regrettably turn heel in the process. Austin has been on record as saying his two biggest regrets in professional wrestling were walking out on the company and turning heel here at WrestleMania 17. Perhaps wrestling was never as hot as it was that night in WrestleMania 17. They set paper V records, gate records, DCW was no more, and they had just purchased their biggest rival during the Monday Night Wars World Championship Wrestling. And of course, the biggest star in the business, Stone Cold Steve Austin was once again the World Wrestling Federation champion. Although this time would be different. The heel turn would mark a major drop in business. Merchandise sales, gates and paper views would slowly decline. Fans wanted Stone Cold Steve Austin to be their hero forever. It was in many ways the end of an era. The Attitude Era was certainly still white hot and the momentum would continue as the company would try a new pairing of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H, what was known as the two man power trip. The paper review following WrestleMania 17 would be backlash 2001, emanating from Rosemont Horizon on April 29th, 2001. And in the main event that night, our world champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin would have his big Eagle championship in tow as he teamed with Triple H to form the two man power trip to defeat the brothers of destruction and tag team champions, Kane and the Undertaker. The following month, we would have an insurrection paper view across the pond on May 5th, 2001 from London, England. The main event would be a handicap match where the Undertaker would challenge the two man power trip all by himself, where the title was on the line, but only if Undertaker could pin Stone Cold. Nearly three weeks later, back here at the United States, it was time for Judgment Day 2001 from Sacramento, California. The Arco Arena was sold out when they saw Stone Cold Steve Austin defend his big Eagle championship against the Undertaker in a no holds barred match. But perhaps one of the most famous matches associated with this particular big Eagle championship happened the next night on Raw from San Jose, California. Famously Crispin Wa and Chris Jericho would challenge the two man power trip for the tag team championships. Steve Austin, of course, had his big Eagle in tow. The big Eagle we're talking about today. But this is the famous match where Triple H would tear his quads and still continue the match. To this day, it's regarded as the greatest tag team match in Monday Night Raw history. The last television appearance of this particular big Eagle happened on May 31st, an event that was actually recorded on May 29th in front of a sellout crowd in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. That night, our world champion Steve Austin would pin Chris Benoit with a roll up using the tights for leverage after Benoit became distracted by Vince McMahon at ringside. By the town's Smackdown Woodair on June 4th, 2001, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, there was a new big Eagle revealed. Steve Austin would wear the belt to the ring that night as he pinned WWF tag team champion Chris Jericho in 10 minutes and 59 seconds with a stunner. But sadly, that was the end of the line for this particular big Eagle championship. All told, only four men held this particular big Eagle championship. The Rock is most synonymous with this title. As he had three runs for a total of 178 days, Triple H had two runs across 125 days. Kurt Angle had one run for 127 days and last but certainly not least, the WrestleMania 17 Stone Cold Steve Austin will start his run with this particular big Eagle championship lasting just 64 days. Of course, Austin's title reign would continue even after this belt was no longer in service. Alright, folks, the future of erectile function is here. So Tony, there it is, the WrestleMania 25 big eagle and heavy use from 2000, 2001. Kurt Angles rookie belt, Triple H held it. The rock held it. Stone Cold Steve Austin held it. And I'm curious, what do you think this particular belt is worth? So I would do a pre auction estimate of 300,000 on that belt because of who owned it, because of who used it. It's a great looking belt. And it's such a pivotal time in wrestling history that but it wouldn't shock me if it went for half a million dollars. It could even do more than that. I mean, it's so iconic. It's such a look and the rock stone. I mean, those guys who have this belt, just historic historic names. Nothing would really shock me on that one, just given the look of that belt and who had that belt. That's one of the top belts you could probably have. That's probably one of the top belts in the hobby as well. So, you know, when you're talking those historic pieces, the ones that are, you know, so there's so much behind them. It's really hard to put a number on. I would say 300,000. But again, I think it could do half a million given who had that belt. I mean, some of the most iconic names in wrestling history. What's cool about it too, John, I don't know if you could see, but on the actual belt, you can tell where there was a WWF scratch logo. But for years and years, when the company, you know, switched to WWE, you could see where they just put black paint over the F. I guess they got the F out. But, you know, they just showed you, John, how at times they had the, you know, what is it? Necessity is the mother of invention. Let's just throw a little black paint on it and get rid of the, uh, get rid of the F. Yeah. You know, we didn't care about that much about that stuff back then. It just didn't matter to us. It wasn't like we had, you know, like special gear. We just wore for one show and then need them to put off. And we didn't do stuff like that. We were, we reused everything we had. By the way, I'll give you half a million that not have to watch that 30 minute video. Well, Tony, we greatly appreciate everything that you're doing at WrestleCon this year. The idea that we get to showcase so many of these ring used items and fans can see it. Go check out the Wrestlemania one boots from Hulk Hogan. Go see Tony at WrestleCon. Go see JBL and Ron Simmons at WrestleCon. Hey, Tony, one more thing. You say it might go for half a million. You think it can go for more than that? I think it could. It could because when you're, you know, there's not much out there of the rock. There's not a lot out there of Stone Cold. And given that it's one of the top pieces that you could ever own. If nothing would really shock me in the way things are have developed with wrestling belts, because it's not like, you know, they have five different belts that that they would cycle through. They had one. That's right. You had one and we would reuse socket through everybody. So everybody had the same thing. It was quite amazing. You know, people don't, you know, nowadays it's shocking to people to hear that, but that's what we did. Yeah. Yeah. And I, and also having that F there and then having it taken off gives it a lot of charm as well. And just over a bunch of damn pandas. That's what is over. Some dumbass judge in UK or somewhere ruled that everybody knew that WBF stood for a world wildlife. And they tried to extort us. It was bullshit the whole way. Those guys, I'm a huge animal lover. That's why I'm not big on the freaking world wildlife. I don't think I think most of it goes to people that work there, not the animals it needs. Yeah. That's my take on that. A bunch of damn pandas. I love pandas by the way. Well, we love wrestling memorabilia. We love WrestleCon. We hope you'll go check out JBL and Tony. They're both going to be there. It is the place to be. Check out Heritage Auctions too. Tony, thanks for all the time, man. Looking forward to see you through items next week here on something to rest on. Can't wait to get out there and get set up and let's have some fun. Let's do it. Let's have a fun to countdown the top five brought to you by save with Conrad.com. Man, I'm fired up for this. It is WrestleMania season. And of course, everybody wants to talk about their favorite WrestleMania moments. It became a phrase in the business and those moments are born out of incredible matches. So today we're going to be breaking down JBL's top five WrestleMania matches. We'll go ahead and start with number five on the list. Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin, WrestleMania 14. This is the beginning of the Austin era. Listen to J to J. R. Say that on commentary. Of course, Mike Tyson there in the fleet center raising Stone Colds hand. What a moment it was. And a lot of people believe this is when the scale started to tip in the WWE's favor. We know that just a couple of weeks after this for the first time in 83 weeks, Monday night Raw would beat Monday Nitro in the Monday night wars. Why is this number five on your list is the historical significance? Did you just love the match you were in the building? Talk me through it. Yeah, I thought the match was great. You got to the greatest performers of all time. You know, we got robbed by a lot of greatness by Shawn Michaels getting hurt. I mean, Shawn, man, he could have had such great matches with Undertaker with the Stone Cold with the Rock. I mean, him getting hurt, that really robbed the world of some great man. You know, it came back and it came back better than he was before. I mean, it's amazing. One of the greatest performers of all time. But this historically is the reason I chose it. You know, we had Mike Tyson. You've had Eric Bischoff talk about this before. He's talked about our podcast. He's talked about it on his. He's talked about a lot. You know, after the Montreal Stooge job, we had the evil Mr. McMahon that came out of it. We had Tyson come in and this was the WrestleMania. That was the tipping point. You know, to kick us off the editor and kick off WWE winning the war. And so I think this is why this is why this match, not just because it was a great match between two of the greatest of all time in ring and also great characters, but because of the historical significance of this match. Coming in at number four on JBL's top five for his top five WrestleMania matches. No surprise. WrestleMania 18, Hollywood Hogan and the rock. This is maybe your favorite wrestlers, favorite WrestleMania match. You want to talk about an all star crowd. They should put that crowd in the hall of fame. Yeah, they were so lit for this match. It was unbelievable. What did you think of this one? You know, we call it bizarro world for so long. You're going up to Canada, but it was fantastic because they did whatever they wanted and they were an awesome crowd. I loved working in Canada. I was always a heel. So I love that part of it. At least most of the time was always a heel. Least later in my career. But I don't think anybody expected this. I mean, there are two things that people didn't expect from Hogan. This is what makes him so unique and the rock. You know, if he told you, he said, Hey, for the mega powers, how about we do this for the segment? We're going to, we're going to tease a handshake for about 10 minutes. No one in the world would have thought that was going to possible, but they did. I'm exaggerating the 10 minutes, but it felt like 10 minutes. It's incredible. Same thing with this sterile. If you said, Hey, we're going to get out there and for about 10 minutes, we're just going to stare at each other. No one would have thought that would work. No one would have tried that except for these two guys. You got Hogan who has the greatest, some of the greatest feel of all time and the rock. Same thing. I mean, this was incredible. I was there for it. I thought this, I remember just being blown away by those two guys. I thought, don't ever touch. Just let the crowd react. This was one of the most awesome moments that I've ever witnessed. I mean, literally it was like we had Kyoto on last week. It was like watching Joe Lewis somehow end up in the ring with Muhammad Ali. It's something you never thought would happen. All of a sudden it happened and the crowd realized how big it was. This great wrestling fans up in Canada and turn this into this incredible moment. And I just thought it was unbelievable. So for history's sake, we got Sean Michaels and Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14. The legacy of icon versus icon. We've got rock and Hogan at number four, but coming in at number three on JBL's top five WrestleMania matches. No surprise. It went in the Hall of Fame last year, Stone Cold and Brett the Hawk. Brett Hitman Hart. What a performance. WrestleMania 13. I mean, WWE clearly feels this is, if not the most important, it's one of the most important matches. It's the first one they put in the Hall of Fame. And it's number three on your list, John. Every wrestler that transcends the genre. I've always felt like has to walk through hell. So they say, you know, you got to do something to prove that you're tough to people. You know, and this was Stone Cold's walking through hell. I mean, Stone Cold, I don't, he may make it to be the top guy. This is what put him there. And this is what built the foundation that Steve built his career on was this match. You know, you see it through Triple H and Mick Foley through rock and Mick Foley, see it through Hogan and the giant. I mean, every something big obstacle always has to be overcome for some great star to transcend the genre and become more than just a champion. Brett Hart did that for Stone Cold. And that's why I think this match is so important because this is what set Stone Cold off on that path that he became the greatest draw I ever saw. Now, I wasn't with Hogan there in the WrestleMania area or during the Attitude. I was with Steve, but biggest draw I ever saw. And this is what I think put him on that course. When you think about moments inside the match, I think everybody would point to Hogan and Rock and where they're just nose to nose and sort of looking at each other. That's what everybody thinks about to start that match. But I think when you take that same method and you say, Hey, what is the snapshot? What does everybody think about with WrestleMania 13? I think it's Brett cinching on the sharpshooter and Austin trying to power out of it with the blood pouring down his face and blue his teeth. That's one of the more iconic WWE photos in history. Don't you think? I do. Yeah. I know almost iconic moments in history. I mean, people are looking at it because of what had gone on in the match. I mean, Steve was it that he was just a world-class worker. And, uh, you know, he was probably a better worker before he had some injuries and before he became Stone Cold. I said, not better worker, but wrestler. You can do more things and put more matches together. He was great. One of the greatest workers of all time when he became Stone Cold. But Brett Hart was man, that guy, he just did not have a bad match. You know, I was on the road and I see Brett work every single night. My God, man, Brett Hart would go out there and just he could do anything with anybody. And you could tell that Brett like Steve, Steve like Brett, they wanted to put on a performance this night. This was just there's nothing short of incredible. Reason he goes in the hall of fame is the first match. We got to touch on number two in JBL's top five WrestleMania moments or matches. And we want to hear from you. What are your top five when it comes to John's number two? One of the all time greatest matches, maybe the greatest in ring match. It's WrestleMania 25, Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker. People always talk about the visual contrast of the black and the Undertaker in the white with the presentation of Shawn Michaels. But when the bell rang, I don't think anybody expected them to have this level of match. You know, they were closer to the end of their careers than they were the beginning, but they exceeded all expectations that night. The wrestling business was a buzz for weeks after and when people are talking about all time great matches, this gets thrown in a lot and it's number two on your list, John. Yeah. And I remember watching this match. I just wrestled with Ramus through. I knew my career was over and I was leaving and I wasn't staying for the part as it was kind of depressed. I just wanted to go home and didn't think I'd ever be back in the wrestling business. I didn't know that a few months later or whenever it was, I'd get a call from Kevin Dunn about doing commentary. I had no idea that happened. I just assumed I was done with the wrestling business and that wonderful part of my life was over. And I remember stopping by the monitor and Vince came out and shook my hand and hugged me, told me, thank you. And he came to find me. And I remember stopping by the monitor and just kind of thought I should watch part of this match because I knew I thought it'd be good. And I remember just sitting there watching going, this is the greatest match I've ever seen. I've never seen anything better than this. This is the most magnificent piece of art I've ever watched. And I remember when that match got done, I was so happy. I thought I've watched the greatest match I've ever dreamed I would see in my life. And I said, it's good to go. And I remember getting in my car and driving back home and thinking my career was over, knowing that I had retired and I'd done what I thought was the right thing with Ray Mysterio. It was because of my love for Eddie Guerrero, my love for Ray, and then watching the greatest match of all time. And I remember thinking, this is a good day to go. It's awesome. The best match I'd ever seen up until then, I'd seen Tony St. Clair and Fit Finley. We're in Z-Boden, Austria. And Otto had brought in a new crew. And those guys went out there and you can tell they're showing off to the Americans. I remember watching one. I can't do that. That's awesome. This was the first match I saw since that time. That was as good or better than that. And those are the two best matches I've ever seen. I remember watching this and thinking, it's a good day to go home. And that because it was that good. Thinking of that good, we expect your number one to be that good. This is JBL's top five WrestleMania matches. And I think when most people think about WrestleMania, they think about the main event from WrestleMania three, Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. This is, I know it's not the first WrestleMania, but this is the one that feels like it really created the hysteria around the brand that became WrestleMania. Right, John? Yeah, absolutely. This kicked off the entire WrestleMania era. And I know it was the third WrestleMania. They had the first WrestleMania, then they had the second WrestleMania, which was the split screen, the split, the split, the matches in three different cities, which did not really work that well. Then they had the WrestleMania three, which had to work. I think we have been put on a back burner. And Hogan had just been on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice. They had that great movie with Rocky. And I mean, you couldn't have been any bigger. And you had the perfect foil in the Giant. Anybody who watches wrestling, who is older, like me, they will tell you where they were when Hogan slammed the Giant. This is the most, I think one of, if not the most historic matches in wrestling history. I think it was that big. And so that's why I chose it number one. Was it the greatest match? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't a five-star classic. I don't even know what a five-star classic is. I had no idea. But was it the most historic? Yeah, it was all the above. I mean, everything that you wanted to match to finish off that show, to follow Savage and Steamboat, to follow all of those great performers on a loaded card, Hogan and the Giant did it and made 93,000 people go home happy and created one of the most iconic moments and probably, I guess the most iconic moment in wrestling history of Hogan slamming the Giant. Well, that's JBL's top five. What are your top five WrestleMania matches? Let us know in the comments below. But of course, John can never just keep anything to five. He's too big of a fan and we all can identify with that. So let's run through some of John's honorable mentions. WrestleMania 20, Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero, WrestleMania 12, the main event, the Iron Man match for the world title, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, WrestleMania 10, the ladder match that put ladder matches on the map, Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels. And last but certainly not least, WrestleMania 21, a dream match, a clash between Eris, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle hooking it up on the grandest stage of them all. What I noticed as I look at your top five list, which is really now top 10, did you realize that five of your top 10 are Shawn Michaels matches? He really is Mr. WrestleMania. He is absolutely. And his record in that great. Which is tells you he is Mr. WrestleMania. You know, great workers don't always have great records because they're such great workers. And you know, Shawn Michaels was my God, man. You know, I came back in 0809 probably shouldn't have, but I came back in 0809 and I got to work with Shawn Michaels. And I just remember thinking and Chris Jericho, I remember just thinking this, you know, this was worth coming back for just to work with Shawn Michaels and he was that good. I mean, Shawn was, I got to work with him in 96. I believe it was when I came in and I remember then thinking good Lord man, this guy is different level, man. I don't know what it was like to be out on the NBA court with Jordan, but I know what it's like to be out there with Shawn Michaels and it was different level. And so yeah, there's a reason he's in most of my WrestleMania matches. I want to ask you about your favorite WrestleMania match because I was kind of surprised. I saw AJ Styles do a podcast recently and he said the best WrestleMania match I had was against Shane McMahon. It was. You got Shane, who's a perfectionist. He wants it perfect. And man, I get that. We just so happened to be able to pace things where they should in a storyline where we had going into it. It just made for a perfect match. So I think a lot of people would probably be surprised to hear of an entering performer like AJ Styles say his favorite WrestleMania match was Shane McMahon or that's the best WrestleMania match he had. When you think about your favorites or your best WrestleMania match that you were involved in, what's on the list? I think the one with Finlay would probably be ranked number one. I have a lot of respect for Dave and I've always thought he was one of the greatest heels, not the greatest heel I ever saw, one of the greatest workers I ever saw. And I have a lot of respect for Dave and I got to work with him on the greatest stage of all. And plus I got to hit Hornsbark with the trash can, which is was really enjoyable. It was a lot of fun. I wish I could do it every day. I wish I could do it now with like a lead trash can that I could hurt him with. But it was such a pleasure to be out there with the legend that is Dave Finlay. And I had so much fun out there with him. I think that's probably my number one favorite. I knew what I was doing with Cena and I knew we had some rough, some really good matches that the WrestleMania match served the purpose that we needed. I thought we had a better match at the I quit the next pay-per-view. But I was happy with that. And I was happy being out there in Houston when I got to be in WrestleMania. I was happy when I was out there. I believe it was, was it been while I worked with that WrestleMania that got the title off of? I'm not sure. I've had I think 10 WrestleMania's, but those are the ones that stood out to me. I love every one of them. I mean, I just, I enjoyed being out there at Mania. It was fun to be part of those cards. It's fun to, you know, be in a big match title match at WrestleMania. I just enjoyed WrestleMania. Well, we all enjoy WrestleMania. It's totally free. It's something to wrestle.com. That'll just direct you right to our YouTube. She don't want to miss us. We're going to try to get JBL live throughout the weekend here at wrestle mania weekend. A wrestling historian as well. Listen, he wants to know, John, what is your fondest WrestleMania memory? So this doesn't necessarily have to be something that was involved in your match or anything like that. But maybe you had an interaction. You saw something in person that was a transition. You were in the building and felt something electric. When you think about wrestle mania, what's the first thing that comes to mind with really fond memories for you? John Michaels and Red Heart and a 60 man Iron Man match. That was my first wrestle mania. I was backstage. I wasn't on the card. I got the debut. I think the next night, I think it was against Undertaker. You need to have the match with diesel, the cage match, Kevin. And I just remember seeing the spectacle of Sean wearing the Anaheim Pond and the repel from the ceiling down, then have that incredible 60 minute match. And I just remember the whole spectacle of WWE. I'd worked a lot of places. I'd worked in Mexico. I'd worked in Japan. I'd lived in Europe for two years working over there. I worked a lot of territories in the United States. And I never seen anything like this. And I just remember sitting there, seeing all those trucks and seeing WrestleMania watching Sean repel with that reflective outfit and have that incredible match with Brett going extra overtime period. And I just remember sitting there looking and going, I don't think I belong here. I just had all kinds of doubts. A lot of people get overwhelmed by WWE. I got overwhelmed that day. And I just remember thinking, this is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. This was so freaking amazing. I just don't know if I fit in. And it was, to this day, it's like it was 10 minutes ago, seeing that match and seeing all that stuff. That's the kind of impression that it made on me. It was that spectacular. John Michaels was the man. He's got a new documentary out on Peacock right now about the story of becoming the heartbreak kid. And I don't know if you saw, but at the end of the documentary, you get to meet not one, but both of his children, his young daughter and young son. And they even closed the show with like a family pose hitting that iconic heartbreak kid. John Michaels double bicep, the squatting maneuver, whatever you call that. But we all know the look. And believe it or not, there's some assholes out there and AOTV production has pointed out. He says, Hey guys, I just saw that some fans are body shaming Sean's kids for how they look after a recent pic with their dad. How unfair is that? These are private people. These aren't, these are public people and they're, they're kids. What the hell are we doing right now? Idiots. Absolutely idiots. I mean, I, you know, I think, I think people should have to have on social media. I think they should have their name and their picture on their profile. I don't think they should be hiding behind something where they can be trolls like that. And I think, you know, I just, I hate these trolls, you know, it's just something where people have a voice and a lot of people should not have a voice and people that say stuff like that about kids shouldn't have a voice. I think it's, I think it's absolutely despicable. And these people are just horrible people. It's why I blocked 17,000 people on social media. Well, hopefully you're not blocked yet, but we are going to be talking about WrestleMania this weekend. It's going to be streaming live on ESPN here in the United States. And of course, it's on Netflix everywhere else. It's happening both Saturday and Sunday. And I think they're starting at six o'clock Eastern. So it's going to be, it's going to be a show. The Saturday match card, by the way, we've got two matches featured in the first hour on ESPN two. We've got a six man tag with Logan Paul, Austin theory and I show speed. So you've got two gigantic social media influencers with huge audiences teaming with Austin theory to take on the usos and LA night. So this is about as star studded as you can get. And this is an hesitant call it the free show, but it is on ESPN two for free. If you want to talk about getting a lot of eyeballs on the product, having two of the biggest streamers in the world, boy, that'll get you started. What do you expect in this one, John? I expect a great match. And I think there's a reason that the usos are in there. They're huge stars, but those guys can freaking work and they can make anybody look good. And I think that's one of the reasons that you put them in there. And I think they're going to make this match incredible. I cannot be a bigger fan of the usos than what I am. I think they're that good of workers and they're going to make these guys, these guys, but Logan Paul has got a lot of talent. But I think these two guys are Rikishi's kids are going to make these guys look like a million freaking dollars. I think it's going to be a heck of a match. It's going to be a heck of a match. The second match on the pre show. It's an unsanctioned match with Jacob, I too, and Drew McIntyre. I got to tell you, John, I think this is going to be the match of the weekend. What say you? Yeah, I do too. You better call the freaking Las Vegas sheriff because these boys are going to steal the match. I don't have any doubt about that. I think this is going to be hard hitting. Drew's a tough guy. He likes physical, physical matches. So does Jacob Pantu. I think that guy is freaking awesome. I'd love to work with him. I'd love to work with Drew. I mean, these guys can freaking go, man. And they like it solid and stiff and snug. I think it's going to be awesome to watch. And I think you're right. This could steal the entire weekend. Saturday is loaded with female talent. We've got the women's tag team title on the line in a four way match. You've got a who's who in there, including Charlotte Flair teaming with Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax and Lash Legend teaming up the Bella twins are back in action here. And how about Haley and Lyra? So we got a four way dance there for the women's tag team titles. We've also got the women's intercontinental title on the line when AJ Lee is going to be defending against the man, Becky Lynch. We've even got a women's world title match on Saturday. This is Stephanie Vakour and Liv Morgan. You got a lot of lady talent here on this show. Is there one match that you're looking forward to more than the others? Yeah, I think the AJ Lee match is going to be great. And you know, I'm a huge fan of Bailey. I saw Bailey come down to try to take the title off LaFlamma. LaFlamma is the longest reigning Luchadora champion now of all time. Reina De Reyes champion is the name of their championship. But Bailey comes down and just has this incredible match with her. You know, the next day is the day that LaFlamma is going to hold the title for a record length. She had to defeat Bailey. And that was the outcome of the match. Bailey is just fantastic. You know, to watch her work and person is just amazing. I saw she just challenged Michael Cole, which I think is not a good idea. You know, Michael Cole, I think, is about the only person undefeated at WrestleMania. Michael Cole is actually the true WrestleMania, Mr. WrestleMania. Michael Cole is actually the greatest athlete ever from Syracuse University. And Jim Brown and Mike Rotundo are from there. Well, how about that? I don't know if I agree with all that, but I think we both agree. Seth Rollins. What do you not agree with? I mean, these, I think the greatest athlete from Syracuse, I think he was voted that. I think he was. I'm not sure. Yeah. I think, I think wherever you read that is probably where the million dollar man read, the Dennis Rodman's not in the Hall of Fame. Michael Cole wrote both of those. Yeah. Yeah, it's his fault. Hey, Seth Rollins at Goonther, you want to talk about another one that could steal the show? I think everybody's been curious what these guys were going to do at WrestleMania. I don't know that three months ago I would have predicted that this is how it would be. I don't think a lot of people even knew that Seth would be here. But what a Tarek Gunther's been on in the last year. He's put down Goldberg. He's put down John Cena and AJ Styles. If you had to pick a winner here, John, obviously the fans are the real winner, but who gets their hand raised? I'm going with Goldther. I think there's too much heat on him right now. I think, you know, I don't think it would hurt him to lose, but there are two big stars. When you have two big stars, it doesn't hurt. You know, depends on how you do it, doesn't hurt the either guy to lose. I think this is going to be a sleeper match. I think this match is going to be freaking awesome. I mean, Seth Rollins is an unbelievable worker and so is Goonther. I mean, I think these guys are going to have an absolute gem of a match. I'm really looking forward to this. But give me, give me Goonther if I have to pick a winner. I'm going with the heel, of course. Well, now I'm going to put you on the spot. The main event of night one in the most controversial match that everybody's talking about. We've got Cody Rhodes on one side and Randy Orton in the other and Pat McAfee hanging around at ringside. There's Roombra in Indio Endo. Jelly Roll may be in town. What do you expect in the main event of night one, John? Man, this one is hard to call. I just have a feeling they're doing something with Randy. I have a feeling maybe Randy may be leading up to challenging John Cena's record over the next couple of years. So I'm thinking maybe Randy Orton here. You got Pat McAfee going to be there with him and of course you may have Jelly Roll on the other side. It's interesting. There's not a loser in this. I think either one going over, I think it doesn't really matter. They're both massive stars. But give me, I tagged with Bob Orton Jr. I didn't tag with Dusty. I tagged with Dusty's tag team partner, Dick Murdock. So give me Bob Orton's kit. Give me a Randy Orton. Night two is more banger after banger. We're going to get started on ESPN2, the first hour, totally free on ESPN2 and how we're going to get started. You want to talk about an absolute train rank, the Intercontinental Championship ladder match. This is going to be a real life car crash with Penta defending against Javon Evans and Dragon Lee and JD McDonough and Ruseff and the legend himself, Ray Mysterio on ESPN, an Intercontinental ladder match with Luchadors and freaking Ray Mysterio. This is going to be huge, John. Poor Ruseff. I mean poor Ruseff. I mean he's going to end up catching everybody. You know, when you're the big guy in these matches, you end up catching everyone. I remember once that we were wrestling the Hardys in the garden, they had some like spikes on their belts. Me and Ron got cut all the strings. They did no no purpose. We were because we're catching them doing all this stuff. Poor Ruseff. I mean he's not going to be, you're not going to see him jumping down on JD McDonough. You're going to see Ruseff catching everybody. That poor man. Give me Penta in this. I think Penta is too hot right now. I just saw him wrestle as well this past weekend. Incredible match that he had down at AAA. Against the Vekingo. Man, those guys can freaking go. You got to watch this freaking AAA product. I think it's just amazing. But give me Penta in this thing. No offense to my broadcast partner right now, Ray Mysterio. I think you're going to see some teases at the end, but give me Penta. I agree. I think Penta gets his hand raised here, but the one that nobody can pick, and it's free on ESPN2 in the first hour of night too. Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi. Oba has more, I don't know, momentum than maybe anybody has had going into a Brock Lesnar match in a long, long time. Can he keep it up? Or is the second verse the same as the first and Brock Lesnar gets the dub? What do you think? You know, they're in a great spot. I mean, you know, if you want to be somewhere, where do you want to be? You want to be the last match on the free card that we're going to have to watch? I take this spot right here. This is going to be one of the most watched matches in the WrestleMania history. I can't wait to see the numbers on this thing. You know, I want to go Brock here, but Brock certainly doesn't care about what happens. I use a professional. Thank God, because he'd be a champion. I can't call this one. Do you put the young guy over and make him the monster? What do you do with Brock? Then, I mean, I think maybe you put Brock over and then you have some type of either return or something else for Obi-Fim down the road. I think, man, this is a toss up to me. I'm going to go a little old school and go Brock here. I'm going to go the other way. I'm going to Oba. We'll see what happens. We'll talk about it next week, but everybody's going to be talking about the actual paper view card. It's on ESPN unlimited. The United States title will be on the line. Sami Zayn, who maybe is evolving as a character, is going to be defending against Trick Williams. He's got a lot of eyes on him, a lot of momentum. This feels a little bit like when John Cena beat the big show at WrestleMania 20 something years ago. You just knew, hey, John Cena is going to be a big star. I think the whole world sees that with Trick Williams. I think Trick gets his hand raised here. What say you, John? This feels like a coordination to me. Absolutely. I'm going Trick Williams. I think Sami Zayn is a terrific character, terrific wrestler. Man, I watched him when we are not called WrestleMania when there was no crowd. He worked with Daniel Bryan. I just, man, he made that, made that match. Daniel Bryan is a great worker, but him selling because there wasn't a crowd there and screaming. Sami is really talented, but this feels like a coordination to me. Give me Trick Williams. We also got the demon Finn Balor taking on Dominic Mysterio. You're obviously very familiar with Dominic Mysterio. He is the AAA champion. And of course, we've seen a lot of Finn Balor, but it's been a while since we've seen the demon. He's coming back for WrestleMania. What do you think? He had El Dimenico with him down in AAA last time I saw him. I really thought we were all doomed. We weren't, thank goodness. He didn't put a curse on us. Dan Hauser, by the way, is doing a great job. I think Dom's got too much going right now. He's the guy that's doing so many things and he is just so freaking over that Finn Balor is so good that he falls in the spot of great workers and you think, hey, put him out there and let him have a great match and it doesn't hurt him if he gets beat. Because he's such a great worker, similar to what golf ziggler was. So give me Dominic Mysterio. Well, I can't wait to see who you want in the women's title match. We've got Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley, two of the biggest stars in the entire women's division. This looks like it's off of a movie poster. If you were to tell me that this is the WrestleMania co-main event or this is the next X-Men movie, I might believe it. Who do you believe is leaving champion Sunday night, John? I think it's so great when you have a championship match. When you look at it, you can't call the finish and you're always, it doesn't matter who wins or who loses because they're both great stars. I think that tells you a lot about how strong these two competitors are. And I think that's exactly what it says right here. I don't think it matters who wins or loses. Either one's going to be a great champion. I think Rhea Ripley has been fantastic. I mean, absolutely fantastic. I've heard so much talk about her internally from WWE about how great she is. But I think they're going to give Jade Cargill a chance with this run. And so give me Jade Cargill. Well, I can't wait to see who you want in the main event. This is what everybody's going to be talking about. The main event of night two. Who else? Roman Reigns for what feels like his 10th WrestleMania main event against CM Punk. Punk has main event at night one of WrestleMania. That was last year. This year, he's main eventing night two. Will he walk away the champion or is it Roman's turn? Roman has been, you know, I never thought we'd see somebody like Bruno San Martino again. And obviously I went around for Bruno's run, but I got to meet Bruno and obviously knew about history know so much about his run. Romans had a run like Bruno San Martino. And he's still on top of his game. This isn't, you know, somebody coming back that's that's past his prime. Roman's not past his prime and neither is CM Punk. I mean, these are both guys on top of their game. I think this is going to be a phenomenal match. I think it's going to be one of the greatest WrestleMania matches, main events of all time. I think it's going to be that good. But I think, you know, again, it doesn't matter who wins or loses because I think they're both great stars, but I'm going to go with Roman Reigns. I think Roman walks out of this with the championship. He's already been in 10 WrestleMania main events. This will be number 11. Roman's WrestleMania record right now in the main event is six and four. So I'm excited to see what this looks like. John, one of the highlights each and every week here on something to wrestle is that we've been able to show the fun and the silliness that we've had with curtain jerkers. And so far we've heard from a whole host of wrestling legends. We heard from Tony Shavani. We heard from David Crockett. And today we've got another former WCW legend joining curtain jerkers, the one and only Eric Bischoff. Let's take a look. You look like Hoss Cartwright. Hoss Cartwright. You're gonna start, we're gonna start the show off. Are you just gonna rib me? No, I'm not gonna rib you. You look like Hoss Cartwright. There's somewhere there's a horse that is so glad you're not a cowboy. You look like a horse somewhere going, thank God that motherfucker's funny. You know, he wasn't funny. I haven't broken back right now. You'd have like some horse to be in a glue farm because you would have. What a way to start. Welcome into another episode of Curtain Juggers. You know, it's kind of like like a 10 gallon head on a 30 gallon head is what it's like. This? Yes. Well, I've, you know, I watched our footage back and my head felt empty. It looked empty. You listened to our footage. We are doing this live at the 1FW Arena in McDonough, Georgia, the former home of Deep South Wrestling. How about that as part of Eric Bischoff's Power Plant weekend. All right. Eric Bischoff. Now, we are rocking the roll here on Curtain Juggers. John, first of all, how excited do you feel about working with me? Probably the biggest comedian you've ever worked with. Size-wise. Last time, now seriously, last time I saw something that big it had ropes on it. I used to live like right by where they had the Macy's Day parade. You know, they had like all the big balloons and stuff. They had ropes on them. Yeah, that's what, and that's kind of, I'm a parade float. Yeah, you're a parade float. Thank you. But a funny one, you're a funny parade folk. Funny parade folk. Yeah, funny parade folk. Yeah. Well, we, you look great in a hat, by the way. You look really good. Do I? Do I pull it off? No, you don't. I just said that, but I need, or should I pull it off? Yeah. Do I pull it off or should I pull it off? No, no, leave it on. All right, leave it on. We are going, now look, we're going to get out shined because our guest today. Now you just told me you're the biggest comedian ever. Yeah. You know, I would get back in the 90s. I went to a celebrity hunt one time and Jeff Foxworthy was the hot, pretty big name in comedy, guys. Just dropped the name there, by the way. Jeff Foxworthy was the hottest name in the country at the time. And so we go down there, Wade Boggs and Kurt Hening are rooming with Jeff Foxworthy. Oh. So Foxworthy, because he was such a hot comedian, they stuck him on like the prime lease and stuff. And apparently he shot this huge buck right at dusk, but it was raining and they couldn't find it. Mays sure he had shot it, but he sits out there and looks for it for like several hours. He comes back to the lodge like at midnight or later and he's soaking wet. He gets in and he thinks that we're all in bed. He wants to get up early and go hunting. This is the 90s. We're in the bar drinking, having fun. So we hear him come in, we turn out the lights. Foxworthy comes in, gets in a bed and we hear this blood curdling scream. Wade Boggs and Kurt Hening had been down in the cooler and got a dead buck and put it in Foxworthy's bed. So Foxworthy has got into bed with this dead deer, turns on the light and he looks and there's a note that if you're looking for a dead buck, this is what it looks like. So Foxworthy walks into the bar, pulls out his wallet. We're all sitting there just waiting to see what he has to say. He's got all the stuff on him from the dead buck and he puts his wallet on the bar and he goes, I can't beat up anybody in here, but if somebody will beat up Wade Boggs, I'll give you whatever's in my wallet. It was perhaps the greatest line ever. Wade Boggs and Kurt Hening tortured him for an entire week. He actually at one point was doing a skid. You may be a redneck if you go on a deer hunt and Wade Boggs and Kurt Hening and he would go into a rant about, he was so mad at him. They tackled him through his door one time, broke down the door. The same week him? The same week. They shot him with a fire extinguisher. I mean, they tortured him. Oh, it was like children. They tortured him. Because they're all friends. Yes. That's what friends do. He lands in on table, which breaks and he's got all these scrabble pieces and he's got like little letters stuck to his face all over. We are going to bring in our first guest and I got to be honest with you, man to man, he's better looking than us. He's a lot more ripped than we are. Some of refer to him as daddy with the good hair. What do you think about that? Some people have not me. Who has some people like who? They're probably here. Probably maybe maybe her. We are going to bring out our first guest who by the way can probably beat a lot of people up in here and how does it know to pay people to beat people? He got me he got me a raise one time. He got your raise one time. But it was my best raise I ever got. All right. Well, let's talk about it. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome our guest to Curtin Jurgers, Mr. Eric Bishop. Yeah. I'm too fat to stand up. Get in there, easy. How are you doing, buddy? Get it. Like, show this shit up. I'm good. How are you? We're doing great. Everybody here. Everybody good? This is fun. Eric, what what do you think of when you think of the name Curtin Jerker? It's about 14 years old. I was in the shower. It's the first time I ever got that kind of tingly feeling. I went, whoa, jerk the curtain close and had a fun time. We're spending time in here. What do you think of when you hear the name John Bradshaw Layfield? Fun, honestly. It's this could go on too long, but it's really it's one of the cool things about being involved in this business is you meet people and and sometimes you meet them, you know, briefly. Sometimes they come across your path to work for them for a long period of time. But John and I kind of crossed paths with the fucking we got going on here. Would you? It's a top notch. Bitch. John and I kind of came across each other later in my career and just became immediate friends because we have a lot of similar views on the wrestling business and experiences in the business and and came up and grew in it kind of at about the same times of our in our careers. It's fun. It's fun being able to make these connections and telling these stories. We've had a lot of fun over the years. Do you want to share some? You don't want to share one. All right. Mr. Briscoe who's not here tonight. This is actually a fun story. It's a great story. I witnessed the whole thing. Yeah, it's a great story. It's a great story. It was Gerald Briscoe's 60th birthday. Right. In Oklahoma. In Oklahoma. And we were there doing one tonight raw. And after the show. Mr. Bradshaw. Mr. Briscoe. Mr. Pritchard. Myself and John Cena all went to the airport Marriott where we were spending the night and proceeded to drink them absolutely out of beer. There was like no more beer left. True. 100%. And beer was gone. And I don't even know how this happened. But somewhere during the night somebody decided to stir the shit a little bit. And planed the idea of Gerald Briscoe's mind that I was convinced that I could take him down in a wrestling match on his 60th birthday. And I of course being drunk as fuck went. Sure. I could do that. Yes. No problem. I mean I wrestled in high school for like a cup of coffee. I was mediocre at best. On my best day I kind of sucked. But the fuck he said see I'll take him down. No problem. Snatched me took me down so fast I don't even know what happened. I went what he just got lucky. I'll do that again. So I challenged him again. And that kind of pissed him off because he was kind of nice to me the first time. He just snatched me took me down and made a point to prove he could. And then I went well fuck you. You can't do that again. Then the Indian came out. He's still mad about Manhattan. That muckerfather was ready to go now because he did a couple cocktails too. So we were a little we were a little bit up to say the so we took me down again and grinded my face into the filthy fucking disease infested carpet. And the bar was full of people full of people and they're in suits. Grinded me down embarrassed me. I got up and of course I was too drunk to really realize what was happening. I got up then I swore to get on my flight. Oh it's in the mirror. This is gonna be hard to explain. I got home. I had a matte bird on the side of my face that looked like a T-bone steak. My right thumb was broken. It was about this big. And I showed up at the airport. My wife fixed me up and she always does after Monday night raw on Tuesday morning. I show up and I walk it out with my bags and I looked like I got hit by a bus. She said what happened to you? I said Jerry Briscoe. Jerry Briscoe. I'm not even know. It's Jerry's birthday. But yeah. Briscoe has happened to a lot of people. But you guys stirred that shit up. You stirred that shit up. To Eric's credit the second time Eric goes, he can't be that good. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, screw the Jerry's back in a second. And here he goes. Okay, I'll give it a shot. So Eric's credit, he did go at it. He didn't go at it very well. But he had fun and much respected Jerry Briscoe. He recently came to a real American free salivate and had a lot of really good input. He's a tremendous asset to the amateur wrestling business. Briscoe has made most of us tap many times. I've got an idea as we sit here for you. I need one. I'm just dying for it. Would you trust a man that looks like that in the cowboy hat? Do you think I pull this off Eric? Not as well as you think. I've seen a toy story vibe going on here. Oh, it's not because it's back here. I got an idea for RAF, Real American Freestyle. We have the trilogy, Briscoe and Bischoff. It was like JBL and Briscoe. I have got it. The trilogy. They got to have a third fight, right guys? Yeah. I'm not doing that. You know, I don't mind being embarrassed by a guy who's 60. But how old is Jerry now? 77. I'm not doing that. Yeah. If I'm going to get my ass kicked, it's not going to be by a 77 year old. No. A 16, 18 year old kid wants to kick my ass, sign me the fuck up. Not a 77 year old. It's not happening. It's kind of like Tatling Jenner. I'm mad that a grandmother is a better athlete than me. That's why this like an 80 year old grandmother can still out pull vault me out of this because everything. Yeah. Okay. What about me and Briscoe? Oh, that would be good. I mean, I could just like, you could just what? Ground to pound. Just man handling with my size. It's fascinating because you know, you don't think of amateur wrestlers. You know, you think of when you think of tough guys because of movies and television, it's always like, and even sports, it's boxers, it's kickboxes, it's juggler, Vendon, it's Chuck Norris, all these visual, you know, medium, you know, tough guys. I don't think there's anybody tougher than an amateur wrestler. I agree with that. I mean, I agree with that. They are, you could, yeah, you're going to land a punch and then they're going to grab you and then you are so fucked. It's unbelievable in ways that you can't imagine possible. It's true, right? 100% true. Worst day of my life, me and Barry Wendham go to Blackwell, Oklahoma and still water, Oklahoma. You're the working town of the shoot town of the Briscoe brothers. This back before cell phone cameras, we had like a Polaroid camera. We take a picture of me urinating on the city of Lipside. With the Polaroid camera. Well, as we're doing this, the chic, the chic drives by. We're in the middle of the country. I don't know what he was doing. I think I know what he's doing out there. I don't know why he was there. And chic always thought my name was Brad Shaw, two names. So when he sees me, Brad, your first name, Brad, my first name and Shaw. So when he sees me, he says, Mr. Shaw is everything okay. And I said, Yes, Mr. Sheik, I'm just pissing on Briscoe's hometown. He goes, Oh, Brad, you're such a fine boy. And he drove off. The next day, we put up these Polaroids of us pissing on Briscoe's hometown in catering. Well, in walks Danny Hodge and Jack Briscoe. I had no idea. I've been stressed a lot by Jerry Briscoe. It's the worst day of my life. I could literally cannot work out for two months. I thought they broke my arm. And I say, Danny, I stress you. Oh, Danny. Oh, yeah. Yes. Oh, yeah, Danny got me. What was that like? Oh my God. Tell me about that. At one point I said, Mr. Hodge, can I apologize to you at any point for pissing on Black Willow. And he goes, No, no. He grabbed my hand with a freaking grip. And then he grabbed my elbow as he does. And he's just twisting it. And I thought he broke the break of my arm. And he's got me down now and Jack Briscoe had me like behind. I am absolutely helpless. I had Jack Briscoe and Danny Hodge stretch me in catering in Oklahoma. It's a learn to the best. That sounds painful. I don't know what that means, but it sounds real bad. I would like to not get stretch. Anybody. But I did. But I did piss on Briscoe's hometown. I got away with it. I didn't get away with it. But I lived to tell about it. By the way, stress for the audience who may not know me. It's just basically tortured in the amateur wrestling sense. Not this perverted fuckers way. I did not say anything. You didn't have to. I can read your mind from here. It's getting out under that. I thought that was even an issue. Has to not help you, bro. That evil shit's just coming through. Uh, do you want to, so you don't want to wrestle? I mean, has this gave you an itch of going, maybe I want to train a little bit. Not just, not to get the rain. Have you looked at him? What is wrong with you? What do you mean? Look at him. He's athletic. He's in the best shape of his life. That's what I'm saying. Do you want to, do you want to roll around with the guys? Fuck no. That would be stupid. I love, you know, look, I've lost a lot of weight. It's really what I have. Now I'm doing about a buck 80. I was probably 220, 230 for the last 15 to 20 years. So I've lost a lot of weight. I've gotten to the gym, tightened up a little bit, but I'm just happy to be walking around without any injuries. I'm just happy to be healthy. So that's as far as I'm going to push it. Although I'm going to see if Sarge continues to be having to take a flatback bump tomorrow at the powerhouse or at the power plant. Come on now. I've never had anybody. I've never learned how to take a bump. Really? Never. All these years you've never rehearsed a bump? No, because I'm freaky about rehearsing shit. I don't, I'm super sisters as fuck. It's like, like the power bomb they come in to ask for it or gave me, I wouldn't rehearse it. I wouldn't, I just wouldn't do it because I even came when he choked, slammed me up, you know how Vince is about rehearsing shit? I said, I'm not doing it. I'll take the bump, but I'm not going to do the rehearsal because I figured if I'm going to get hurt, I'm going to get hurt in the shot. Right. I don't want to get hurt in fucking rehearsal being pussy. So that was my deal, but I've never learned how to take a bump. So Sarge is going to teach me how to take a flatback bump, which is the most basic thing in wrestling that I've never learned. So I'm going back to school. What's the hardest bump you did take? I've never, it's, I've never, no, I'm just everyone's high-rise even low. When Kane choked, slapped me off the stage because I don't know how to take a bump. I made the rookie mistake of reaching for the floor, you know, trying to anticipate where I was going to land and I broke my thumb, but that was self-inflicted. You know, I didn't know what I was doing. I would know what I was doing. I would have flatbacked, there'd been no problem, but I was like, oh, what am I going to hit? What am I going to hit? I ended up hitting on my thumb. You know, you know, Vince would never learn how to take a bump. Seriously, because, well, that was obvious. He sucked. He was the most unathletic, first giving hip mother fucker. He was the most unathletic person that ever wanted to be. The greatest build-up ever was to that first stunner by Vince McMahon. It was the worst thing that's ever happened in the history of wrestling. It was so freaking bad. But Vince, now to his credit, he never took a bump because he didn't want to look like a wrestler. But to Eric's point, he had no chance of looking like a wrestler. Even with training. Can we go back to first giving hips? Fuckers hips with a squire. No wonder we wear padded suits. Padded shoulders. His fucking hips were like four feet wide. Well, now we're all going to look at them next time we see him. We're going to go back to watch all of these. I can't wait to see Vince's person again. You got more ass than a donkey form. Don't shoot drunk. Don't shoot laughing somebody's hips. I have slender hips like you got bowling balls in your back pockets. All right, if I was going to pick any two wrestlers to swap gimmicks, just because I would love to see it. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Goat Dust. That's good. Here's my impression of Bruiser Brody ordering Applebee's. Give me your goddamn fucking food. Tag Mary Kill, JBL, Jeff Jarrett, John Cena. I'm going to marry John Cena. He has a lot of money and I will be a house bitch. JBL has to be the tag because, I mean, he's a tag wrestler. He knows what he's doing. Jeff is not. He doesn't play well with others. So I'm going to have to kill you, Jeff. Sorry. Well, now some guys have nice booties. They might even want to wear a thong like out on the ocean or something. Oh, God. Don't. Uh-oh. What is that? This is a PTSD moment. This is what this I feel like coming. So he ever had a chance like, I mean, I don't know. I don't want this like name and name or random name. I don't know. Like Brutus the barber beefcake. Show up on a boat and wear a thong and around your kids. What? If this is the real story, you need to start talking. So I'm thinking it's about 1994. Oh my gosh. Hulk and I are getting to be pretty good friends. You said, Eric, bring your wife and your kids down to Tampa. Let's hang out on the fourth of July. Go out on the boat. Watch the fireworks. I just started working with Hulk, right? Yeah. I was a fan. I was a Minneapolis when he, you know, when Hulkamania really became a thing and still kind of a mark. Yeah. I run the company, but fuck, truth is the truth, right? That's Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan was the biggest man to bring me and my family down to his house. It's been fourth of July. Yeah, kind of excited about that. My son Garrett was maybe six, seven. My daughter was five or six. She's a year younger. We go down. It's great. I'll get this big, beautiful place in the ocean. He's got a giant boat. So, okay, let's go out on the water. Watch the fireworks and floating up the beer and soft drinks for the kids and whatever. And the rudest barber beefcake shows up in a fucking thong. Wait a minute. Wait, wait, wait, wait. What he's got? Yeah, he's got. That he'd show up in a thong? He showed up in a thong. Wait, not pants and then drop the thong. I don't know. I don't know how he got there and watched him arrive. I just saw him show up on the fucking boat with a banana hammock. So he's on another boat and just shows up like that. No, he drove up, but I was outside. I was getting on the boat and then fucking Buddhist and his ass showed up in a thong. And I'm thinking, and I'm looking at my wife and my wife's going, what the fuck? And my wife is laughing at it and I'm not worried about my wife. I'm thinking about my kids. They could scar my children. Here's how it gets worse. Hulk goes in the house. He comes out. He's wearing a freaking thong. No, I'm on a boat with rudest fucking barber banana hammock beefcake and a Hulk hooking in a thong. And I don't give a shit. Neither does my wife, but I'm thinking my kids are going to be scarred for fucking ever. What's going to happen to them? How are they going to look at life? How is this going to affect them? Daddy's friends are weird. I was scared. Fortunately, my kids turned out okay. I on the other hand have a fucking problem with banana hammocks. Just okay. Were you in the marina at the time? No, we're gonna watch the fireworks and drink it. My ties and people were seeing this like another boat. Yes, it was probably like hooking down. Thank God there was no iPhones. She would be everywhere. And you don't know how Brutus got there. No, he just drove up. I think he drove in the thong. I think Brutus the barber beefcake to this fucking day drives around Clearwater, Florida in a thong. Hoping somebody's going to say, can I take your picture? How about this? If I see Brutus the barber beefcake get out of a car in a thong, I'll take his picture. I will say, can I take your picture, sir? And by the way, when I have my dark match with Brisco on Real American Freestyle Wrestling, I'm gonna, when y'all bring me out, my new nickname is banana hammock beefcake. I think it's gonna be my new, should I come out in the thong guys? Not gonna do it. How would you say beefcake tips work? Because they give birth. You saw him up close and personal. So what? No, way too up close and personal. Yeah, I, no, I don't think he's capable. I don't think Brutus the barber beefcake is fucking capable of much, to be honest with you. There's, you know, when you look at humanity, there's a certain level of expectation. And when you start at the bottom, that's Brutus. This is the first time I've talked about it since 1994. I'm not sure I'm gonna be all right. Now, when you, when you say thong, that's pretty old, pretty fucking PTSD. There's trouble with somebody else's boat with their family and kids in a problem. That's the thing. That's the thing. I mean, if, you know, there was a bunch of, you know, hot chicks and hot strippers that wanted to hang out with wrestlers, and you want to show up in your banana hammock, have at it, but not in front of my six and five year old kid. Are we talking like, you just think they were skimpy in the back? Are they inside the cheeks in the back? We're all thinking it. It was right. Deeper than comfortable. And comfortable being a relative term. I mean, how does anybody, it wasn't comfortable for us. Even women, I mean, there's a couple of you out there. This is not a total testicle festival. But how the fuck do you feel comfortable with that shit? I mean, a thong, I mean, it's uncomfortable. I wear boxers for that reason. Sometimes I don't wear anything for that reason. But you know, a thong? What a record. What are you wearing right now? Boxers and boxers. She's got his boxers on. They were free. They were Tommy John's. Nicely done. They were a sponsor. It was sponsored in 83 weeks. I wear their shit. That's the best sponsor speed I've ever seen. It is what it is. I can hear that right here, man. Tommy John's. First of all, what a great skinny guy movement is to just dig right down to the front of your pants and pull your underwear this far up. I got it. I'd have to dig. I'd have to dig. There's some crevices right here. We can't get in. You mentioned 83 weeks. We're going to play a quick game. You want to see us play a quick game? Over under 83, John and Eric, you will participate. I will ask the question over under 83 something and you will tell me if you think it is over or under that. Okay. 83 does JBL own more than 83 cowboy hats. Over under. What do you think? I'll go under. Under? Here's why. Because when a man finds a hat that he likes, you marry that son of a bitch. You do not wear a bunch of different hats because hats are very freaking personal. They either fit in a way that makes you feel good about life or they're a pain in the ass. And once you find one that fits, you just don't fuck around. Mr. Bischoff knows hats. How many hats you got? Made for John Layfield. Got his name in it. No, no, but I'm not saying that to brag. I'm saying that the hat's comfortable. I found a little hat maker right there near the Steve Simpson, the old wrestler from South Africa. It was big in the Bonnard days. He lived there in Frankston, Texas. Told me there was a hat maker down there. Went in there and had a guy make a hat for me and most comfortable hat I've ever had. So I haven't bought another hat in the last year or two. Wow. Because I've got one that fits like a glove. All right. Over under 83 men that have stretched to JBL. How many times has Brisco count? Different men. All of them are from Oklahoma. You know, I want to say something here. I don't want to talk politics, but I gotta bring this up. Okay. Because I'm from Texas and we need a wall in this country. Okay. And I don't want to hear no bullshit about this. Trump Trump is right about the wall. He's wrong about the location. We need it around Oklahoma. That keep those in Brad Hillbillies out of the rest of the country. I know they got little fancy meth labs and bingo parlors and somebody learned how to read there recently. I don't give a shit. We need a wall around Oklahoma. And I ain't standing far until we do. Oh, 83 total turkey ass is eaten by Yokozuna at Duke University weight rehab. Turkey asses. Yeah. Why would he eat turkey asses? I didn't know he was hungry. Does a turkey have an ass? What does it look like? Yeah, you just, everybody knows you just, you take a turkey and you just turn around and eat it from the back. Have you eaten a turkey's ass? You sick, bud. I'm going to go under. There's a keyboard. I'm going to go under because I don't think any, I don't know. I figured somebody would Google it. 83 turkey asses. I don't know. Somebody at Grock Lesnar, how many turkey asses he ate. 83, over under 83 centimeters of Brian Knobb's asshole. Okay. This is going to, this, this, this poor lady right here, her jaws, yes, her jaws on the floor. She's looking at you like you're some kind of a freak from another planet. Okay. I'm the only one who's asking that question. Make some noise if you've seen the picture. Nobody's seen the picture, which is why I want to explain. Oh, wow. The explanation is. John, have you seen it? I've seen the mock-up of the picture, not the actual picture itself, but I've seen somebody that put some wording around it and stuff like that. Yes. It is absolutely shocking. I never saw Brutus barbering in a phone. This is worse though. Yeah. This is emotionally scarring. I don't mean to be, uh-oh. Look, people, when you see something is disturbing. You laugh. Oh my God. It hurts certain people. It's, it's scarring. This fat bastard, no fets. A lot taken. Bet over, spread the cheeks of his filthy fucking ass for a picture. Oh, that's all there was. That went viral. What do you mean that's all? No, no, no. I didn't not go to the doctor. That's a lot. Are you disappointed? No, no, no. I saw it. I thought it was like a medical procedure. No. No. I've been to Carl's side cabins. I mean, I fucking, no. It's like, oh my God. So we're seeing it in the world. It was horrible. He did that. He did that in a bathroom. He bet over and just went here. We're all taking a close look. It was the most hideous, disgusting thing. And it's like, I don't want to see that shit. Somebody said, the Hulk sent it to me. Yeah, look at this in here. Oh, don't send me this shit. If I get run over by a fucking boss, somebody's going to go through my phone and go, what's he doing with Brian Knob's ass on his phone? Do not ever send me this shit. I don't care about Brian Knob's ever again. There's people right now that now have it. They're searching straight in their wine. I hope none of you get hit by a bus because your family's going to be fucking disappointed. Somebody sent it to me, but it had been like Photoshopped a little bit so you couldn't see inside of the camera. Maybe when they're watching this at home, we'll throw it up and maybe put one of your cowboy hats over his head. Please. Yours, the one with your name in it. Yeah, yeah. It won't fit over what I saw. Oh, 83 minutes before I have my heart attack, but it feels like it's coming on rapidly under his face. No, it's not what you're wishing for. I don't know where to go. I wasn't ready for you to go on your rant. No, I'm not going on a rant. I'm just saying I hope it's over. Your foot is down. No, I mean, I, you know, the heart attack. I helped incident. Yeah, no, I don't want to, I want to see you around for a long time. She always made me laugh. You always make me laugh. He's done a couple podcasts with Conrad's been unavailable. And I only do the podcast because it's fun. I don't, to be honest with you, if it's not fun, I won't do it. And he's the only guy that makes me really laugh and have fun more than Conrad does. So I appreciate that. Well, I'll appreciate that. I think you're funny. Like in the hat, you're not that funny. Well, look, we've got a lot to digest here. We've got, I had no idea that knobs did that on purpose. We've got knobs. We've got birth. We've got birthing hips on vents. We've got Brutus in a banana hammock. We've got a lot here. We got all the stuff you did. Now you did, you, I mean, if anybody has seen our previous episodes there of Curt and Jerkers, you've been in a tanning bed before. Many times. As JBL does it, you ever flog your meal? It's not enough room in a tanning bed for me. Okay. I need more room. Do you believe the lid up? Yeah, but then you don't get tan. Do you sit on the side, baby? Oh, no, I don't. See that grill marks on your ass when you get done? It's just not the appropriate time. Why would you go to a tanning bed to whack your monkey to begin with? That doesn't make any sense. It makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, I'm a showering guy. I mean, if I were to do it, I'm going to do it in the shower. How would you waste your whole circle back to your first turn? Then you got to take another shower. You're going to waste the time. If we have communal showers and Curt and Jerkers, I'm taking a bath. Hey, going in there. I just imagine then whoever's doing it's got those little tiny glasses on. I bet you could buy video on you. Too bad we're out of data because we all looked up, Brian. Man, thank you for coming in with us. Hey, this is fun. I'm having a good time. It's an absolute blast. Live here at the 1FW Arena in McDonough, Georgia, former home of Deep South, wrestling, of course, and part of your Eric Bischoff's power plant weekend brought to you by ringclassics.com. Man, how about that? It's going to be a fun weekend, right? It is exciting. It's a lot of memories. I really haven't been back to Atlanta and visited my own neighborhood or anything like that in 20 years. So it's going to be fun. No, it is. I'm looking forward to it very much. So thank you all for being here. And when we go to your old neighborhood, we'll all wear thongs just to keep you happy. If you must. Oh, I must. Just bring your own attire. Ladies and gentlemen, Eric Bischoff! Yeah, boys. Yeah, boys. I've been thinking about this, Casio. You know, if you got stretched because you make jokes about your weight, I think you look fine. I think you look great. I have some issues with Dave Silva, but that's some backstage stuff. But I think if you got stretched, I just think you're under hot. I don't think you're under, I don't think you're overweight. I think you're not quite tall enough for your weight. I'm vertical challenge. Yeah. If you were like nine foot two, I think you'd be perfect. Now, by the way, look, you got the WrestleMania hat with the JBL signature on there. How about that? Oh, nice. How about that? Awesome. Come call me here to talk to you. I am Casio. That of course is the one and only JBL. JBL, we've got a buddy with us here who helps make all this happen. How are you, Dylan? I'm great, guys. Thanks for having me on. Now, this is going to be fun because Dylan is going to be with you in Vegas for Mania weekend, John. Well, not really with me. He's going to be out there also. You make it sound like we're rooming together. I don't know the situation. Well, we may be. I don't know. I hadn't seen the rooming chart. Even with maybe I have no idea. Wait till you see the room service chart. Oh, he told me one day, he told me in Briscoe one time, he goes, I was moonwalking on the on the on the bar in Lake Charles and Jimmy Garden forgot to tell me that he goes because he wanted me to run into the fan. He ran to that big fan, hit in the head. Next thing I knew, I woke up in bed with Jimmy Garvin neck. I said, Michael, there you've missed a couple of things here that I think were important because well, we ordered room service. I know that's not where I was going, but OK. One does. Yeah. As one does, Dylan, what what is your curtain characters experience been like? I mean, it's just it's so much fun just to sit there and just laugh and even like watching it back here. Just laugh again and I've watched it 100 times the Ed in it. So I think the hardest thing has been to keep my composure behind the camera, especially those couple episodes with Dave Wells and Man Cascio and John had me laugh and so hard who jumbo the elephant. Yes, the best thing about Dylan, you muted yourself. Oh, God. He knocked your microphone. This is a typical curtain character. I used to work here with Gerald Briscoe. Don't worry about it. Can you hear me? We're hearing now. But I was just saying like, hey, what about when they had that damn action figure that I thought it was Conrad turned out as one man gang and he was like it cost more than me. Yeah. I didn't think it was funny. I didn't I say this is not funny. And then Conrad and Cascio like, no, put it in there. Yeah, they're they're I don't want to offend John. I'm a fan. You know, I'm a friend. I don't try to get on this good side and they're like, no, put it in there. You're not your paid. Did you think Cascio looked like Hals Cartwright in a cowboy hat? I mean, not at first, I had to do a little bit of research. But when you side by side together, yeah, I don't know who you were talking about. But when you sung the picture up beside me and curtain jerkers, I was like, man, that's pretty that's way more spot on than I wanted. You know what? It was deeper than comfortable as Eric Mitchell. It was deeper than comfortable. I did do some research though. I didn't find anything on Brian Knobbs, but I don't know. Oh, my God. We do have Brutus the barber in a thong. Banana, behind a hammock beefcake, my friend. She eats for weeks. The entire picture is him at Greg Valentine's wedding. And Greg's getting married. Wait a minute. That was at Greg's wedding? Yeah. Yeah. He wore a phone to Greg's wedding. And he's, yeah, and Greg's wearing whitey tighties. Wait, Greg was wearing whitey tighties at his own wedding? OMG, that is amazing. And that's not AI folks. Hey, I could never. Now, who was Greg Marion in that I don't have that answer. You're supposed to know, John. Well, I don't know. I mean, he didn't marry. Did he marry Medusa? He didn't marry Medusa, did he? We'll do some more research. Lonnie Anderson. He didn't marry Lonnie Anderson. That was not Lonnie Anderson. Hey, Barry Wendell, I think dated Lonnie Anderson though. He and Bert Reynolds, both dated Lonnie Anderson, I believe. Oh yeah, Barry Wendell was a freaking player, man. He was, he was the deal. He was a real deal. He didn't wear a phone though. I mean, it was Arne Anderson. I am an Anderson. Barry Wendell didn't date Arne Anderson. No, he did. No, he dated Lonnie Anderson. There's no relation. He's not a four horseman. It was one of the Anderson, Anderson Silva. I don't know who it was. Barry Wendell did not date Anderson Silva. No, we're trying to figure out who Valentine married. Oh, Valentine may have married Anderson Silva. Now we got it. A follow-up shout out, and I don't know if you did know, you didn't have to do it on purpose, Dylan. First, Curt and Jerkers, John, without penis talk. So we got that out of the way. Yes, sir. We did go double ass to hold that. Yes, we did. Eric talked about his first experience at 14. We're still at it. That's true. Yeah, we have a lot of jerking and Curt and jerking. And you guys talked about vlogging the mule at the end. We got vlogging the mule back in. And I did the swagger on JBL impression. Swagger? Swagger was an idiot. All right. So look, here's what we're telling everybody. If you see these two guys, John, Dylan, you got to get out there and see him in Vegas. And you might be on Curt and Jerkers. Yeah, we're filming some questions, you know, asking some questions, trying to get content, like we did with the chat epic there. You know, also getting footage of John seeing some of his buddies, hopefully throwing a trash can at Horn Swaggle. And so I'll just be following him around WrestleCon. And yeah, come up to me. Just make sure it's me. I know there's going to be about a thousand of me around that day. But I'll be the one with Conrad Thumson. So Not Red Thumson. Yeah, I love it. Conrad Thumson will be asking the questions. So he's doing our man on the street interviews. Conrad Thumson is. Yeah, he does look a lot like one man gang. That's true. That is amazing. Conrad Thumson. I love Conrad Thumson so much. So much. My new favorite thing. And if you see John or Dylan, you can you can do Dylan as well. If you see the one of them in Vegas, please walk up and get somebody asking the silent coat hanger. That's what I mean. Just you know, last week I'm freaking on the AAA show and you had original El Grande Americano beat up this blind comedian and in the front row and. By the way, that was the match. That's the best thing I've seen in a long time. That old Mac. That was awesome. It was free. Awesome. On television and I did throughout the line. He never saw that coming and it's like nobody even noticed that throughout the line. Come on. It's funny. He's like all these one liners. Oh, great man. One liners are my favorite part of the show. Just listening to Cassio laugh. I used to. I told Cassio story, but when he hosted the show with Road Dog, I would listen just as a as a fan and I would let I would go to bingo and I'll just put my you know, how did this fucking just happen? I talked about myself that nobody paid attention in my commentary and all Dylan says is yeah, when he had Road Dog on, he laughed a lot because he's funny. He didn't pay. He was doing the he's doing the he didn't pay me at all. I had Aaron and Bischoff put me over into the show. This is my day. This is a nice drive here. Yeah. Fuck you. That's going in my bio from now on. You know, everybody's got blurbs on their comedy specials. He's going to be John going. He's a funny brain. John Bradshaw, I feel calls him a funny brain. Well, buddy, this is these have been absolutely so much fun. We still got some more coming, of course. Can't wait for you. I'll see everything and I think you are going to get some gold content. Many a weekend, man. That's a good thing. Like when we took the trip to David Buster's, it's going to be pretty good. We got a lot. We got a good trip at David Buster. I was dying. I don't know who, uh, somebody, somebody that just happened to be following us literally this week said, has the David Buster's footage been released? I said, no, it's coming. It is. It is coming. So David Buster's, you wonder why they're not growing because they told us they said, Hey guys, you can't use the camera. Okay. Can we use the iPhone camera? Oh yeah. That's fine. Literally. Okay. Great. I'm glad you guys are in charge here. Don't use the, don't use the normal size camera. Just use your phone. Same thing. You're still fine. They're both 4k. We're like, can we use the footage? Yeah, we don't care what you do. You just can't use a giant camera. Right. Yeah. Nailed it. Okay. It's actually easier for us. Yes. Uh, yeah. Dylan, by the way, that shirt is off and charged, dude. T-Move. You got, get big yet for the win. T-Move. You're supposed to like say you got to have to show or something. Nope. Nope. T-Move. Four dollar shirts. Four dollar shirts. I hope you have them a plug. I don't have so many cool shirts. Look at you. You got your own merch on. John, I do have own merch on. Stories of Brisco and Bradshaw. We've got a guy on this week, our show that wrote about the big daddy versus John Haystacks. The big rivalry from the UK. It was an excellent freaking book. We can't wait to check it. Check that out. You sound really fucking excited about it. We can't wait to check that out. We didn't see that coming. I haven't seen the books. I haven't seen the books in none in Reba's shirt forever. Actually, I don't know if I've ever seen one. He did. He ordered it from a Chinese website. Are Brooks and Dunn over in China? My wife's in China right now, by the way. She really is. What? My wife's in Shenzhen, China right now. Whoa. Yeah. She's about to take the train from Shenzhen down to Hong Kong and then she's going to watch the Hong Kong sevens this weekend and she has a board meeting out there. Hang on. I'm still right now. The rest of our itinerary. Keep going. When's breakfast tomorrow? They're 12 hours difference. Oh yeah, by the way. Get her since she's over there. I'll order some T-Move shirt. She can pick it up for me and save me on shipping. That's right. We'll get the Brooks and Dunn Reba shirt. Get it straight from the app. Four bucks. We'll get it for three. We won't pay shipping. See, I got my Chinese man behind me right here. I feel like that was a lot. Was that shipped over? Yes, it was. It was shipped over the late 90s. I went over there and bought it in the Terracotta Warriors. That's a replica of the main general in the Terracotta Warriors. The greatest archaeological discovery of the last 100 years. I met the farmer that discovered it. They took his land and everything. I said, what'd you pay the guy? It was like four or five bucks. So they didn't really advertise that very well. Yeah, it took like six or seven months to get the damn thing. It was $750 and I had it shipped. I paid like tax and like Hong Kong, Tokyo, LA, Dallas. Yeah. It piled up. Then I got it. Yeah, let's go back to your wife's itinerary. It was more exciting than that story. Oh, I hope my wife ever meets you. She hates you. She will. If she's like all of my other friends, why she will despise me. And all your friends. That's all my friends do. I just can't do it. My wife hates you, bud. Can't ever see you again. All right. Well, you guys have fun in Vegas, man. I can't wait to see what Dylan and John and Conrad Thunson bring back. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, not when Conrad Thunson is involved. It's coming back, man. Tell them where they can see you one more time, John, this weekend in Vegas. Come to WrestleCon. Come see me and Ron Simmons. And then I'm gonna be at the world on Monday, I believe. That's gonna be huge. Yeah. Also, stop by and see that Heritage Auctions booth. They've got going incredible stuff there. Fine Dylan, if you can spot him, he's gonna look like your twin probably. If you can just see him and Conrad Thunson, come up to him. We need one autographed coat hanger is the goal for the Curt and Jerker weekend in Vegas. Thanks, everybody, for hanging out with us for Mr. John Bradshaw, Layfield, Mr. Sunny Days himself over here. I am Cassio. This is the inception of Curt and Jerkers inside something to wrestle with. John Layfield, Bradshaw 316. So I just stole your fucking podcast. Bradshaw 369 says, quit vlogging your mule.
