I Wasn’t Trying to See a Sasquatch but Still Saw One - Bigfoot Eyewitness Episode 524
55 min
•Feb 13, 20262 months agoSummary
This episode of Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio features two guest accounts of Sasquatch sightings in Oklahoma and Louisiana. The primary guest, a hunter and outdoor enthusiast, describes multiple encounters including a detailed daylight sighting of a juvenile Sasquatch on a mountain road in Oklahoma, while a secondary caller shares two separate sightings from different time periods in Oklahoma.
Insights
- Credible Sasquatch witnesses often have extensive outdoor experience (hunting, tracking, wildlife knowledge) that enables them to distinguish cryptid behavior from known animal patterns
- Emotional and physiological responses (fear, electrical sensations, animal behavioral changes) appear to precede or accompany Sasquatch encounters, suggesting possible sensory detection mechanisms
- Community-based investigation groups focused on outdoor recreation rather than evidence collection report higher engagement and more consistent field time than evidence-focused expeditions
- Witness accounts emphasize physical characteristics (shoulder blade placement, hair texture, movement patterns) as distinguishing features from known primates and mammals
- Multi-witness corroboration of unusual phenomena (sounds, lights, animal behavior) strengthens credibility of individual sightings within investigation communities

Quotes
"I found it fascinating that if these creatures are real, that they've been so elusive. And I wanted to know more. you know, uh, they survived this long without people really knowing that they exist."
Primary guest (Heather)•Early episode
"it's like electricity on the back of my neck and as soon as we broke the peak I guess coming down back down after we got kind of unstuck I told her that I was like it's like electricity on the back of my neck every hair is standing up on me"
Primary guest (Heather)•Mountain road experience
"The way the back muscles were and the shoulder blades, it was flat, not like a dog where it's on the sides. Or a bear where they're on the side of their side more than on their back."
Primary guest (Heather)•Main sighting description
"I'm not so much out trying to see one. I enjoy the side-by-side riding, the hiking, kayaking, or fishing, even hunting. And I'm out there for mostly that they experience outdoors."
Primary guest (Heather)•Motivation discussion
"He stepped over like it was nothing. And I was like, wow. You know, he didn't even put his hand on it and push it down. He just stepped over it like someone stepping over a log."

So, we can now listen to your podcast. on tv monster quest um and all that during covid i started listening to podcasts and um i got really interested in it because i heard stories from around my area so i started looking into it more um i've always been a hunter uh grew up hunting my whole life out here and i still hunt to this day um mostly by myself so it's kind of unusual uh that my interests would shift to Sasquatch not having an experience here yet, but I have had several since my interest got peaked and I started looking into it more. I found a group of ladies with similar interests around my area, and together we've been all over the place looking for Sasquatch, I guess, so to speak. I dare say we're not so much on evidence as we are the experience. We enjoy ourselves, too. We camp. We do all kinds of things. Ride ATVs, kayak, fish, you name it while we're out. So we got a lot of boots on the ground, too. And we stayed in several different states. I guess it's really started when I started hanging out with them. I went out, first of all, to Kasach in the National Forest here close to central Louisiana where I live. And I wasn't so much convinced at the time, but I went out with them. And we actually found some pretty good footprints that day that I could not explain to anything else. they were almost perfect. They were in the sand, so they weren't really castable because if you touched them, they would disappear. But they were probably 17, 18-inch tracks in a straight line, and probably it was about six feet stride. And I have a lot of experience tracking animals. I also have a tracking dog. I tracked wounded deer during deer season for people to help find their deer. So tracking is kind of one of my specialties as well. And that really caught my attention, and I was hooked then. Like, I needed to know more. I found it fascinating that if these creatures are real, that they've been so elusive. And I wanted to know more. you know, uh, they survived this long without people really knowing that they exist. Um, I guess, uh, since then, that was a day trip, uh, that we saw those tracks. Uh, and then I started going out with them, um, camping. And I mean, we had heard a few things. Um, a lot of them, You know, owls would freak them out, but I knew it was an owl. Or we'd hear things. I was kind of like the debunker for a little while because I identified a lot of the animal sounds that they would hear that they weren't familiar with. And I was familiar with quite a few. I also like to predator hunt. I'm out a lot at night tracking deer. I'm out at night in the woods in the middle of nowhere. Half the time, I don't know where I'm at. I've never been there before. My dog and I have found hundreds of deer for people during the season. The furthest we had traveled, first of all, was Oklahoma. The ladies had been in touch with the lady that runs the museum in Oklahoma. Her name is Tanya. the um the the uh tallahina bigfoot museum is the one that she was at and the one of the ladies built the bigfoot um that she has in her museum and we brought it to them and this was probably our first out of state camping trip um one of the ladies and i was or was two days early and we decided to go ride around in my truck in the mountains. And we kind of got ourselves in a pickle following a logging road and found ourselves on the K-trail in my truck. Luckily, I have a Toyota four-wheel drive, but at one point we were almost stuck at the top. and I'm really not one to freak out or anything or get nervous but I knew we had everything we needed in the truck to survive but I didn't want any part of being up there after dark I've never felt so uncomfortable in the woods in my life and I feel at home there most of the time um we ended up getting out thank god it took us about six hours to get down from there uh in my truck but we left unscathed on the way down and we finally got phone signal Lisa the girl that was the lady that was riding with me uh I told her I said oh I they're praying for us Lisa I said I feel that like electricity on the back of my neck and as soon as we broke the peak I guess coming down back down after we got kind of unstuck I told her that I was like it's like electricity on the back of my neck every hair is standing up on me and it's almost like somebody's got a grip on me I said it must be them praying for us to get down safe the next day we went to the museum to deliver the Bigfoot that Barbara had made. And there was a man that stopped by the museum. She has people stop by all the time to tell their stories. And this man was a Choctaw man. And he unloaded on us a lifetime of experiences. In about three hours, I enjoyed just sitting there listening to him. I had so many questions. you could tell he was telling the truth he wasn't making this stuff up and he was really unloading on us um and i asked him i said what does it feel like when they're when you're near them and he explained the same feeling i'd had the day before on the side of that mountain uh coming down is where i didn't want to be stuck overnight and i felt that was very very interesting even though we didn't see anything up there uh i felt things and i've noticed that uh i do tend to feel things pretty strong um we went to a place here close to home um some of these places i don't want to call out too much either but um it was a wma it was close to a river um and the river had a large cypress break next to it that we fished and kayaked in and all that place i'd scouted it and when i got out of the truck it was completely silent dead like you couldn't hear a noise and this is swamp i mean there's animals everywhere you hear birds here i didn't hear anything the silence was deafening it was heavy and i was like we're gonna camp here and it was named after devil there was a portion of it it had a devil in it which is why i scouted it and this could possibly be a sighting i don't know uh the more i think about things it probably was but when we stayed there i'd stayed in the back of my truck i had a camper shell at the time It was warm, so I just had a tarp canopy and then a mosquito net with it open in the back. It was tinted. And then one night when we were laying there, I was laying there sleeping, and all of a sudden I jolted awake. Like, I don't know what woke me up or made me jolt like that, but when I opened my eyes to the window, So I couldn't see out of the window, and I thought it was just because it's dark and it's tinted. And then suddenly I could see an outline of the trees like something had moved away from the window. And I heard footsteps. Oddly enough, I went back to sleep. After that, I thought maybe it was one of the other ladies getting up to go to the bathroom in the night. I didn't know. I did ask them the next morning if anybody had got up to go and bathroom and nobody had had walked by my truck and also I'd found a feather on my boots that were sitting on the tailgate which I found was odd. It's time to see what you can accomplish with Shopify by your side. That was my first feather experience. I've gotten several over the trips here and there, different places um i thought i feel like that's that's fairly interesting okay so that was yeah we'll call devil's break camp where possibly there was one looking at me in the window which is why i jolted awake so fast um don't know that for sure but uh you know over the years and and my experiences i kind of leaned towards a more of a possibility we've gone all over Louisiana public lands several places private lands we've been invited to to look into one lady got in contact with us usually it's only about five or six of us who go of the ladies we have been out with Sisters of the Moon which you interviewed a couple weeks ago and I've been out with them by myself too. Some of theirs kind of overlap with mine at times, but we went to Arkansas. We've been to Oklahoma. We've been to Alabama, East Texas, of course, all over Louisiana. And we were invited to a ranch in East Texas by a lady, the owner, who felt like she had activity going on around her property. So we all loaded up and went and checked it out, stayed a couple of days in one of her ranch houses. This is a large property, probably about 800 acres. and um she had she definitely had some interesting activity over there um she took us out one night we were riding around with a flare um on the side by side i think it was a big side by side so there was like six of us on it and the lady was driving um and i was scouting with the flare and she pulled up to a spot where um she thought she she took the flare when she was scanning on her side and we had stopped and uh she said she had seen something over on her side and it looked like it was upright and uh all of a sudden she said it it crouched down it's like oh you're kidding and uh she's like no look and she like threw the flare at me and uh to look so i couldn't see through the windshield with the flare so i stood up to go step around the front of it And when I did, something ran at me in the dark. It was like almost up to my feet is what it felt and sounded like. And like I said, I don't normally panic. And I had something strapped on. I had a chest rig on with protection. I had a headlamp on my head and a flare in my hand. But I jumped back in that thing so fast, it was telling them to turn the lights. The odd thing about it, I mean, I've been charged by pigs in the dark. It didn't make a sound. A pig usually will pop its teeth at you or grunt at least. Armadillo, even when they run over, they'll run over your feet. But this ran right up to me and then that was backed off. It was gone. Whatever it was, I have no idea. Yeah so we left pretty quick after that And when we got back to the ranch house they were all kind of excited about what had just happened and it was really cold and i jumped in the hot shower and they were all out on the deck and heard what they describe as the tyrannosaurus wreck screen and they all come running inside. I mean, it scared them. Rather than trying to look for what made that noise, they didn't want any part of it. That place was very interesting. Some of our horses' manes would get braided. We found some pretty interesting places in a pine thicket that looked like a giant nest. um like had a they had made it to where the pine straw fallen and made a roof canopy almost and then bedding at the bottom but it was huge like 20 foot across it was a crazy thing it was like a little hole that when you stuck your head in there it was like a cave out of pine straw um which was very interesting I guess my main sighting happened. We went back to Oklahoma the next year. The lady up there started doing a Bigfoot Festival, the Kiamichi Mountain Bigfoot Festival. And my friend Lisa was invited to talk, to be one of the speakers. and we and her decided that we were going to camp and stay the week before the conference. I was going to bring my side-by-side. I'd been studying trails and everything through there and we were going to explore the week before. We knew of a beautiful campsite we had found the year before and we took off. It was Lisa and I, and I brought my little dog. I have a little Boston Terrier. He's one of them. My little side companion, my sidecar companion here. He goes everywhere with me. He even goes to work. He went with us, and we got there, set up our camp and everything. It was great. Beautiful spot. we were outside of tallahena in muse um but we had a pretty secluded spot that we had found to camp in in the washington national forest like i said we didn't have phone service and we were out there um it was wonderful uh we rode the side by side i think i put 300 and something miles on it week just exploring the area. You can go so many, so far on those trails in the Washtenaw National Forest. We were having a blast. Also keeping our eye out for things. We would put GoPros on the front and the back just to see if we could catch anything. um my sighting happened on the last day of riding we were um actually on highway which is legal we were to explain i guess more of the sighting i need to tell you where it's at it's no big secret that honuby uh oklahoma is notorious for sightings and and things and experiences um we rode out that way on the Indian Highway. And as we were coming down the Indian Highway, you kind of go through the mountain pass, and as you're, Honobi is, I guess, a valley. So if you could picture, you know, a two-lane mountain highway, mountain on the left side, straight up, going downhill back down into honobie and then on the other side is kind of like a little bank and straight down so one side straight up one side straight down and it kind of the road is curving to the right as we were coming down um this road i really wasn't going fast the windshield was open because it was a hot day. Lisa, my passenger, was digging around for something in the foreboard. And I noticed the brush. I could see the top of brush kind of around the curve. So I could see part of the right lane and it curved around the mountain going down. I could see the mountainside, the top of the brush on the other side of the curve, if that makes sense. I could see the brush just cutting down in a line like a rock is rolling down and I can't see it. It was fast, so I thought it was a rock falling. I just immediately let off the gas. And it's only about 30 yards ahead of me to go 35 around the whole curve. There's a guardrail on the right before it goes over a little berm and then straight down the mountain. It's time to see what you can accomplish with Shopify by your side. I didn't see anything until it got in the right lane and it was just so fast it was a blur and at first I couldn't tell if it went over under or through the guardrail because it was so fast um and then when it went up the berm is when I got my best view of it right before it went straight down um at first I didn't know what I was looking at I just I'd let off the gas we were coasting and my my jaw was probably on the floor because my mind just like could not it was like it didn't make sense it wasn't as big you know people talk about it as a big giant thing that they saw what I saw was not big um so I feel like it was a juvenile immediately that registered that it's a baby in my head that it was a child or an infant of something. You know, it looked about the size of a larger grizzly bear cub is about the size. I related it to a chimpanzee. I don't know. It's hard to describe, but a chimpanzee, if you've ever seen one run with its leg, keeping its legs tucked where you can't see its back legs and its arms. I didn't see arms or front legs until I felt like it reached on that berm to grab brush to pull itself over. So I could just see the back of this thing. and a dog or a bear or deer or anything like that their shoulder blades aren't placed flat like a human's or a primate is what I related to because it was about the size of a chimpanzee but it was dark brown around the edges and it got lighter tan in the center of its back. Almost like it had a tipped coat in the center of its back. You know, like a husky, when you part the hair, like it may look dark or black or you part the hair and it's white. This was like it was dark brown. And when the hair parted, as it's moving, it's moving really, really fast. but the hair the way it parted I mean it got lighter tan it was very interesting and this is why I couldn't place it to anything else a possibility I mean it was a cryptid of some sort but unfortunately I didn't see the face like I said I related to a chimpanzee if you've ever seen one running away kind of on all fours They keep their rear legs tucked, and you can't see their head. So, like, they have no head. That's what it looked like to me. I did see what looked like an arm extend and grab foliage to pull itself up over the side and disappear. I'd have to say if it had stood up on two legs that it would have been about five foot tall. the color and the coat is really what kind of sold it for me it was very clear this was broad daylight middle of the day this is March so yeah March or May and so it was really clear and it really the hair even glistened in the sun it was very clean if you've ever noticed like a seen a video of a wet grizzly bear how the hair moves or the skin moves it was moving so fast it like popped the hair almost which was about four or five inches long it looked like it only lasted a matter of about three seconds but I did pick up on several things that kind of sold it for me And that's what I saw. The way the back muscles were and the shoulder blades, it was flat, not like a dog where it's on the sides. Or a bear where they're on the side of their side more than on their back. And the hair, the coat, the color. I've never seen anything like that before. also on that trip. The last night, now we were camped. It was probably 20 or 30 miles from there. We got back at our camp. This has been our last night or one of our last nights. We were cooking steaks. My little dog, he's very social. He's not a barker. He let us know if something's really there, but other than that, he's pretty chill. And if it's steak night, we got going on, he's trying to lick the grill as we're cooking, you know. But we heard some for sure house that is nothing that I could identify. It sounded a lot like the Ohio house, but higher pitched. It was very interesting. I mean, you know, looking at me like, what was that? And I was like, no idea. You know, shortly after that, I was like, where's Ben? That's my dog. And nobody could, we couldn't find him. So I got really nervous. He usually doesn't stray. I got to looking for him and he had made his way into my tent and was, my duffel bag was underneath my cot. and he was inside my duffel bag hiding and he doesn't hide oh yeah after the house I mean that was pretty telling there the same lady that had the East Texas property also had some property in Alabama and she had had a sighting there and some experiences. The property itself was very interesting. It was on a river. I don't remember how many acres it was, but it was a pretty large property. It was near Moundsville, Alabama. If you've ever are familiar with that area, there's a lot of Native American history there. And the property itself had been in her husband's family for over 100 years. And it had some interesting, it had like a big artesian well and different things. They hunted it mainly. It was not a residential place. They had a little camp spot, but it was up towards the entrance. And when we went and stayed, we stayed on the river. And we kayaked and did all kinds of stuff. We had a great time. Swam a lot. It was hot. We had some very interesting experiences there Alabama um yeah that was something we saw what I can only call a UFO Um it we all sitting on the edge of the river and then it always it was like messing with a helicopter um it was strange but we all saw it don't know how else to say it but it was a green looking ball of light and it was that shot out of the woods in front of this helicopter and then like the helicopter was behind it it was like it was teasing the helicopter it was it didn't move like any aircraft i know of starting a business can be overwhelming you're juggling multiple roles, designer, marketer, logistics manager, all while bringing your vision to life. This does ASR for you and a duroze sameness. ASR does it. So, we can now listen to your podcast. We saw lots of orbs in that spot, in those woods. That's the first time I've ever seen anything like that. Like I said, I spent a lot of time in the woods other than just doing this my whole life. So that was very interesting. We had a lady with us. It was actually one of our members, like best friends. I'm sure she doesn't, she's not going to mind if I say her name. Her name is Donna. And she more or less likes to tag along for the company and the food, you know, the experience. She likes to hang out and not so much interested in the Bigfoot. And we were riding around looking at, the ladies were looking at different places for footprints and stuff. We were driving around in a truck. And we would stop and they would get out and look. And for some reason, Donna stayed in, I mean, Donna and I, I was driving. I stayed in the truck with Donna while the rest of the ladies got out and was looking at some spots that they were interested in. And I was kind of just watching them. It was like a lane in front of us. This was set up for hunting. So this is a long shooting lane. And Donna and I were kind of just chatting. I don't know if I looked down or something. I was looking down at my phone or messing with the radio in the truck. But Donna all of a sudden said, oh, my God, what is that? And poor thing. She had a definite paradigm shift after that. She wasn't she didn't disbelieve anything, but she wasn't. She wasn't there for Bigfoot. And she said that it looks like an old man is what covered in hair kind of crouched over that went across the end of that lane on the other side of all the ladies. And they weren't looking. I wasn't looking. It was Donna that happened to look up from the back seat of the truck and saw it go by there like it was sneaking across. Yeah, and poor thing, she cried the rest of the evening because she became a believer really quick. Unfortunately, none of us saw it, but it really upset her. we heard also that camp out in Alabama we had all just laid down and we all have our own tents in kind of like a little half circle not far from the river and it sounded like I heard popping first like a tree falling and then the crash but it was close it was very strange and it sounded like it landed on something metal but there wasn't there wasn't anything out there no buildings or anything um and the next morning i searched the whole area and i did not find a tree fallen a fresh fallen tree that would have been that loud much less anything metal for it to fall on but that was very strange um it sounded like a car wreck and we were so far back in there there's no way you can hear in traffic where we're at matter of fact on the last day on our way out one of the ladies got stuck we had to pull her i had to pull her out because some of the areas going out were steep. So it's hard to get up at the full load and you didn't have a full drive. Lisa got worried about us because we were taking so long and started to walk down the hill, back down the road where we're at, and it was steep. And she ended up falling. and it you know she skidded all the way down the bottom and ended up breaking her arm and we had to get her out of there because nobody was going to be able to come no ambulance was going to make it in there or helicopter um so no way it could have been a car wreck and all of us heard it all of us heard the same things that was a very strange camp out So very strange. And as far as other Bigfoot activity there, we didn't have anything else other than Donna's signing. What's the main reason why you go to the lengths you do to try to see another Sasquatch other? Maybe not. I'm not so much out trying to see one. I enjoy the side-by-side riding, the hiking, kayaking, or fishing, even hunting. And I'm out there for mostly that they experience outdoors. I love it outdoors. I sleep outside. I sleep so much better even when I'm outside and camping and things like that. So kind of there hoping in a way. like I never really kind of sometimes I hope not to see anything because I don't want it to ruin my experiences outdoors so far it has not um I still walk to the deer stand to and from in the dark um I'm just a little bit more cautious than I used to be um I've talked to people in our area that I would have never thought they would come out and say what they had seen. I mean, just right here, not too far from me, you know. So I wouldn't say I'm necessarily out there looking for it. But it's on my mind. Like, I don't count it out where it could be. I can totally understand, and I definitely do respect all of that. Yeah, I love to play golf. Don't play very well. And it's been years since I've played. But even though I can have the worst round possible, I'm still out there on a beautiful golf course. And in a way, I'm in nature and just having a great time regardless. So what you said about being out there and how you sleep better and everything that you said, I get it. I definitely do. And I mean, that just makes it that much more enjoyable for you. A lot of people put way too much pressure on themselves when they go out and they investigate. And because of that, I think they lose out on a lot of fun. But with you, that should never be a problem. But having said all that, I can't thank you enough for coming on and sharing all those experiences with us. I really appreciate it. Yeah, no problem. I enjoyed it. This will be my first time talking about it with anybody else other than ladies in our group. Well, I'm glad to give you a platform. I really am. But having said all that, thanks again so much for your time, Heather, and have a great night. I'm Angela. I'm from southeastern Oklahoma. I was going to tell you about a Bigfoot sighting I had in 89 when I was probably about 12, 13 years old my mom was letting me practice drive for nighttime using headlights it was just getting dark and this is still warm time, it's summertime and anyways it was just getting dark It was not quite dark, and she's let me drive using headlights for the first time, because she wanted me to practice that. And as we were – she was all – oh, she was uptight about my driving. She likes to be in control of the driving, so she wasn't paying attention to nothing but me and how I was driving. But as we were driving, we were about four miles from town in the country driving, and as we're driving probably 70-80 yards I see something squatted down in a ditch and it looked like it was drinking water out of the ditch in its hand getting it and then like I said probably 70-80 yards approaching it it stood up and stepped over the barbed wire fence and was gone and my mom missed it she didn't see it she's too busy trying to focus on my driving and then i have a second story it's real it's short um 2022 um i was in tallahena of oklahoma and it was daytime and it was fall late no leaves were on the trees um the guy i was going with at At the time, me and him were arguing, driving down the road. And anyways, I'm looking out the window, ignoring him, not paying attention to him while he's going on with me. And I see Bigfoot walking up the side of the hill. And I seen like the side of his face and the backside. So I see it was like a 3D dimension of his head, kind of like a gorilla's head, but a little bit more pointier. and the hair on his arms were probably about six inches long hanging from his arms. And he was like a dark brown with some red in it that would shine through. When he had his arm up, I could see the sun shine through the hair of his arms. That's all I have on that. You were still learning how to drive when you had that first sighting, so you must not have been all that good at driving yet. With that in mind, how close did he come to running off the road and joining that Sasquatch in the ditch when he saw it drinking water down there? Well, my deal was she was teaching me how to learn to drive at night. So it just all happened so quick on that. and like I said I got probably about 70 yards to him and he stood up and stepped over that top barbara fence the on the barbara fence like it was nothing like a like someone stepping over a log it was nothing to him he so he was so tall was your car heading straight down the road when you first laid eyes on him the reason I'm asking is if there was a slight curve then that'd make your headlight, it's a lot more likely to fully light that Sasquatch up. There was no curve. It was straight. I was heading east. No, I was heading west from the east direction, and it was a straight on that road. The road was called Loody Road. It's in Oklahoma. Wilberton, Oklahoma is where it was at. Yeah, it was about four miles from town in the country That part was straight So my headlights were right on it you know And he was on the passenger side squatted down like he was drinking water I only seen like the backside of him and his movement of his hand like he was getting water and drinking it out of his hand out of that ditch that was there It sounds like you definitely got his attention when you came along the way you did. But when you stood up, did you seem to be put off by your presence or just heading out of there because he, for whatever reason, didn't want you to see him? He just headed out. He just he just like, oh, I've been seen or whatever. And he stepped over the fence and then was gone. There's brush on the other side of the fence. And he I don't see them like step over it. And he was out of sight. and in that area there was I have kinfolks that lived there back then, they've passed away since then but they said that they had seen sightings of him getting chickens from their chicken coop up there in that same vicinity back in the early 80s though, that happened but I didn't see it, I just heard about it they told me, talked about it it was my aunt and uncle that lived up there I bet he was stealing chickens and doing things like that all the time, which you can't blame him. I mean, he is a creature of the wild, so that's just what they do. Yeah, and my uncle and them had a big picture window at their house, and she thought it was like someone that lived in the woods, you know, like a hermit or something that was hanging around there, or a homeless person. And she said the stench of it was so horrible, and he was looking through her picture window looking in the house one day sitting there watching a movie eating popcorn with her and her two sons. And my cousin went out there to see about it and took a rifle out there. He said it was gone. It went up towards the bluff back there behind their house. Can you imagine what that would be like to be in the house watching TV and all of a sudden you turn and look at the window and see that? Yeah, my aunt, she said she thought it was a dead mouse on the couch. And she said, what's that stench? And she got to look at and seeing someone looking through the picture window. And she thought it was like a homeless person or a hobo or whatever, you know, or a hermit, whatever you call them. Yeah. Then she said they had some deer meat in a deep freeze out there in a smoke shed. She said that it got in there and tore that up and got their deer meat at one time. Well, they are opportunists, so that doesn't surprise me. In the process of you laying eyes on him when he was at first down in the ditch, and then you saw him stand up, and then he moved off, did you stay silent through all this, or did you make noise to let your mom know? I was trying to tap on her. She was all, you know, going on like, no, no, no, let's keep your eyes on the road like if I was driving bad, but I wasn't. She just likes to be in control of the driving, and she didn't like it that she wasn't in control. even though I wouldn't drive that way, she gets up tight like that. Back then she did. But she missed it. She didn't see it. I was trying to tap on her and get her to look and she was like, no, keep your hands on the wheels. You know, on the steering wheel, you know. That's too bad that she didn't see it. When she realized what you were trying to get her attention for, was she upset that she missed seeing it or did she not care? She didn't care. She didn't care. It didn't seem like but she told me as a little girl she grew up down in the area she told me as a little girl she seen one coming down it was doing a bluff charge on her when she was on her bicycle down by a bridge down there on a road down from where she lived she said it came down and there was trees she could see the pine trees shaking and stuff and some of them were coming up out of the sky the tops of the trees were disappearing that she's seen And she said that it was coming towards her. I said, yeah, I was doing a bluff charge from the stories I listened to. That's what it was doing. It wanted to scare you away. And she said, oh, it did. Oh, I bet it did. And some people would see having that experience as a good thing, while others, they'd see it as a bad thing. Which way do you see it? Ever since that happened, I just got into the Bigfoot stuff. I listen to stories about them all the time. I go out and I see if I can see any signs of the tree structures and stuff that they do. And I have found some tree structures where, you know, they got the X and then the bends of the trees, how they bend them. And how they snap some of them off about seven or eight foot high, you know, how they do them. I found some stuff like that in the woods before. You know, as I grew up, I just got more into them. It sounds like having that first sighting really lit a fire in you. If that's the case, I know that you really are fascinated with them now, but right away, or at least almost right away, did you go out and try to look for them or did you wait some time before you did that? It just always stayed in my mind. I always wanted to, you know, just kept thinking about them, you know, and wanted to see if I can find more clues about them. And, you know, the fascination grew over time. You caught the Bigfoot bug. That's how it normally goes. Yeah. Yeah, it's like once you see them, there's no return, you know? Yeah, that's how it normally is. I understand. Now, when you had that second sighting recently, the Sasquatch you saw was walking uphill. If he was walking up a hill, how steep was that hill? No, it was steep. This isn't going towards Tallahanah. it's on Highway 82 going south. And it's real curvy in that area where it was at of the highway. And it was walking, not straight up, but it was going at an angle going up through there. And it didn't seem to care that vehicles were going by or not. It just went on like we didn't exist. The guy I was arguing with at the time, me and him were arguing, and he missed that too. He didn't see it either because I couldn't get him to stop arguing with me. I was like, hey, hey, look. And he just too busy focusing on arguing with me. And he was driving. I was passenger. When you're finally able to let him know while you're trying to get his attention, was he upset that he missed it or finally? He wanted to. There was a little pull-off spot. He wanted to pull off and get out and go looking, you know, walking up through there and looking. And I was like, that thing is going to be long gone. it's not going to be there. You're not going to see it now. There's no point in us pulling down here and trying to walk through here and find them. So we went on. But yeah, he wanted to stop and try to go walk through there, park down the highway on a little pull-off spot and go back and walk up there. I didn't figure it would be around. It was about how far? Yeah, how far down the road was that pull-off spot from where you saw it? Oh, it was... I don't know, maybe about, I don't know, maybe a block away, maybe. I don't know how to put it in words. It wasn't too far from there. Yeah, it was probably long gone, like you said. You know, from what I gather, you know, when they're seen, they get gone and then they can move quick. I mean, you know, a few steps they can cross the road and be like two or three steps and they cross cross highways with no problem, you know. From the stories I listen to. Oh, sure. They put some ground behind them when they want to. Starting a business can be overwhelming. Something like a step over a barbore fence, that's what really, when I seen that one step over that barbore fence, the top line, you know how the height of the barbore fences are. He stepped over like it was nothing. And I was like, wow. You know, he didn't even put his hand on it and push it down. He just stepped over it like someone stepping over a log. Yeah, something how they do things like that. They do so many things that just blow your mind. They really do. Did he look to be struggling at all, walking up that steep slope? Or was he acting like it was business as usual? It looked like it was nothing to him. Like he was just strolling through there, you know, like it was nothing. Yeah, that's just one of the many things they do that's just so hard to wrap your head around. Yeah, and he didn't seem to be worried about us going down that road either. He was used to it, seeing vehicles go by. It didn't seem to faze him that we was right on the highway and he's just a few feet out there walking up the hill. We weren't real far out there from the highway. You said just a few feet. If you had to guess, was he 50 feet from you or so? Probably. just like you know like say there's a ditch you know by the highway and then just right on the tree line right there be kind of like that you know just a few feet out there something like that probably 50 feet something wow that's close yeah I was shocked when I seen it I was like whoa but they say that there's you know I've heard about Bigfoot's being in the area I didn't but I never dreamed that I'd see one you know I've heard that people talk about them down there in Honubby area, Tallahan area of Oklahoma. Oh, yeah. There's a lot of them in that area. That's where I was at in that vicinity. And of course, you never think you're going to see one until you do. Yeah, and then you know how many times they've probably been around and I didn't know because they blend in so well with the surrounding, like like a ghillie suit that's like the way they blend in, you know? Oh, sure. Yeah, just think about how many times these guys have been watching you, but you didn't know it because, yeah, they are the masters of hide and seek. I know that I've been around them more than I've seen them because I've heard the, you know how it sounds like someone's snapping twigs, but it'd be like in three or four different areas around me in the woods, little twigs snapping, and I'm like, that's odd, you know, why is there twigs snapping around me you know like a like a triangle shape you know around me on the woods you hear little twigs snapping I think that that was them too you know talking to each other through snapping little twigs but I've heard in the woods that's just not normal birds ain't landing on twigs and making them break like that you know oh no definitely not I know all you can do is guess but approximately how big do you think he was oh he was probably nine foot that one was and he was probably about from shoulder to shoulder five foot probably he's big yeah i'd say he was what about his head shape was it more conical or rounded it was more conical like yeah it wasn't quite like an apes because it's more pointed or whatever, but at the side of the apes head, you know how it's got the indention in the side? It was like that, but more pointy on top. So it was a type 1 then. Okay, I see. Did he look more to you like a hairy human or a gorilla? He looked more like a gorilla with hair about five, six inches long on his arms hanging down. he he had short hair around his face but i didn't see his face straight on i just seen like the side view of it you know like where his temple area would be and back to the his back side and his side of his shoulder and you know i see his back the side of his head like the ear area temple area back you know from that point i didn't see the front front view of nothing well you can't be falter for that. You're heading down the highway, so you're only going to be able to see so much. I think you did a good job. I really do. Well, thank you. Oh, you're welcome. Well, having said that, Angela, thanks so much for coming on and tell us about those sightings. I appreciate it. Well, thank you for letting me be on your show. Oh, you're welcome.
