Dr. Chris Motley discusses parasite infections as a widespread but underdiagnosed health issue affecting energy, sleep, hormones, and overall healing. The episode covers parasite detection methods, herbal treatment protocols, lifestyle prevention strategies, and the connection between parasitic infections and various chronic symptoms including hormonal imbalances and neurological issues.
Insights
- Parasites are far more common than most people realize and often hide in unexpected organs (ovaries, testes, heart, brain) rather than just the gut, requiring targeted diagnostic approaches
- Genetic factors like MTHFR variants significantly influence susceptibility to parasitic infections and determine whether someone can tolerate chronic low-level infections or develops severe symptoms
- Full moon cycles trigger increased parasitic activity due to hormonal fluctuations and atmospheric pressure changes, making this an optimal window for aggressive parasite cleansing protocols
- Standard blood work and stool tests frequently miss parasitic infections; practitioners must look for subtle biomarkers like elevated eosinophils, low B6, abnormal hematocrit, and high ferritin to identify stealth infections
- Parasite eggs are significantly harder to eliminate than adult parasites, requiring extended multi-month protocols with rotating herbs, lymphatic drainage support, and strategic use of binders to prevent re-infestation
Trends
Growing practitioner interest in frequency-based diagnostic devices (Rife machines, bioresonance) for parasite detection outside conventional laboratory testingShift toward full-moon-synchronized parasite cleansing protocols as practitioners recognize lunar cycles amplify parasitic activity and treatment efficacyIncreased recognition of parasitic infections as root cause of previously unexplained hormonal dysfunction, particularly in female reproductive health and cycle irregularitiesIntegration of Chinese medicine meridian theory with parasite location mapping to identify organ-specific infections and guide targeted herbal protocolsRising use of homeopathic frequency remedies alongside herbal antiparasitics to raise immune awareness of infections before aggressive eliminationExpanded clinical focus on environmental toxicity (heavy metals, glyphosate, pesticides) as cofactor determining parasitic load and treatment resistanceGrowing emphasis on lymphatic system mobilization (dry brushing, infrared sauna, vibration plates, coffee enemas) as critical adjunct to parasite eliminationIncreased practitioner education on parasite-specific symptom patterns (burning feet, pins/needles around eyes, pelvic bloating) for faster clinical identification

You could have a parasite that could injure a liver or a gall bladder and injure my neck. Dr. Chris Motley from the Ancient Health Podcast today. Most people don't know they have parasites, but some parasites really love where all the energy is at. They love to go to the testes, and they love to go to the ovaries. One of the most common symptoms that people will experience if they have parasite infections. Normally, I say if you get bloating like right after you eat and you have diarrhea and constipation, and you realize that you get these aches and pains and twitches in your colon. This is like some individual come to you and say, Doc, like I get a twinge right here in my gut every time I eat a certain food. Seriously, candy or fruit, you get parasites. How do we prevent parasite infections to begin with? What are the things that we can be doing on a regular basis to prevent these things from getting bad? Number one. Well, I love listening to podcasts. And one of my favorites is the Dr. Josh Axe show hosted by my good friend Dr. Josh Axe. Well, welcome back to the Functional Nutrition Podcast. Honored to have my friend, Dr. Chris Motley from the Ancient Health Podcast today. And we're talking about secret parasite killing strategies for better energy, better mood, better sleep, and deep healing in your body. We know that parasites can be really like a... Most people don't know they have parasites, but unfortunately, they are all too common. And they create toxins that drive inflammation in our system, cause a lot of unwanted symptoms. And so we're going to do a deep dive on that today with Dr. Chris Motley, my good friend, from the Ancient Health Podcast. Dr. Chris, great to be with you. Oh, thank you, brother. Let's talk about how you got into natural health and how you got into really discovering these pathogens like parasites. In a nutshell, the pathogen part was, my dad's a military guy. And when I first formed into chiropractic school, my dad had been getting lightheadedness. And this is when I was a teenager, and he was going to the minute clinic, and he was getting such lightheadedness that they were getting the nitrous glycerin, and he was about to pass out. He would call me up, and he would sometimes be parked on the side of the road, and he would say, hey bud, this is when you had the flip phone, like the really old phones. And he would say, I don't think that, like I'm going to pass out. And it kind of alarmed me because my dad was a very strong guy, really, you know, tough guy. And he had a friend that was a church friend. And I do a lot of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and they call it frequency therapies. I have some devices that can work with frequencies that come off the body that can measure some things. But at the time, this individual had an old Radeonix machine. And for those out there, it sounds a little unusual. But a Radeonix machine is just this machine that works with radio waves. And they use it in the old times to measure the mineral content of dirt. So they would put dirt in this machine, and they could find out the frequency and the amplitude from the material that you placed in the machine. So they would actually see how much zinc or metals were in the dirt. Well, they found out that they could take that same machine, and they could measure frequencies from something like a hair sample, or a nail sample. So we hear about some of these devices. Well, my dad was getting sick, and his friend said, why don't you come over to my house, and I'll use this machine. And at the time, I didn't know what this was. And he had my dad do a spit sample. And he was using this machine. He said, oh, well, there's frequencies of parasites. And I never heard about parasites. My grandmother grew up on a big farm. And she said three to four times a year, they would do turpentine. And that just dumbfounded me. I was like, turpentine. And she goes, yeah, we'd have to get the worms out. So my dad then was, you know, he goes, Oh, it's like my grandmother. So he found out about this from this guy who had this machine. And he started using some of the radio frequencies and started using natural ways like maybe some herbs and stuff to start cleaning his body out. And when you know what he just stopped passing out, he stopped having blackouts. My dad then realized it was liver congestion. And there's an, I can't know if he's passed away, brother, but his name's Dr. Malchmas. And he did a lot with carrot juicing for cancer. And my dad started following him. And my dad switched over to like raw vegetables, juicing. And my dad lost a lot of inflammation weight. And literally, he stopped having those blackout sessions. That always stuck with me. And fast forward, I was going to go to chiropractic university because I love neurology. My dad's friend was a chiropractor and said, your son needs to probably go into chiropractic because I thought, well, maybe I'll go into neurology of some sort. And went to chiropractic school, sat beside an individual, another guy that loved different types of kinesiology, muscle testing. And it was kind of down that alley. I was like, I like this. And when this is where it got for me, I had a rear end accident right before I went to school. Got hit hard. And my neck was always out of alignment. So I was like, perfect place to go to chiropractic university. So I would get adjusted, but my neck would kind of like go out of alignment a bit. And it wouldn't hold. So I was like, man, something's going on. Well, a friend of mine, Steve, he was another guy did a lot of different Chinese medicine stuff in school, you know, they go to the clubs and the meetings. And when he was checking me, he said, why don't you come to the house? I'm going to check you out. And he said, well, I think a lot of your neck pain is coming from your gallbladder. And at the time, I was a little surprised that my gallbladder, he goes, yeah, so like in the Chinese medicine meridian chart, if you look at the gallbladder, it starts at the corner of the eyes, basically makes its way around your ears and goes down through your neck and shoulders. So he started hitting these points, and he was massaging the acupressure points. And my body went to rigor mortis like three days later. And I was having bowel movements, not to get too graphic, they were very pebbly, and they were just, you know, really hardened. And from then that moment on, I got interested in liver cleanses, and gallbladder cleanses, and I started reading Hold a Clark, and they were talking about, oh, there's parasites involved. And there's all these different types of parasites. And at the time, I never equivocated that you could have a parasite that could injure a liver or a gallbladder and injure my neck. And that's where it got me interested. So you get neck pain from having a parasite. And sure enough, started doing the cleanses. And I didn't have any more neck pain after that. And so when you're in school, you start working with individuals. And some of the best things that I remember even in clinic was if a female patient came in and they had really bad cycle issues, if you started working on some microbial toxicities, a lot of their pains would go away. And that's how I got into it, my friend. I then started to work with acupuncture and Chinese medicine points, and started trying to understand where the parasites could be. And that's where I really dove into it, my man. And what are you finding with that? Like, where are the parasites? Where do they tend to be? And what are the most common ones that you're seeing? Most people would think it's always in the liver, and the liver is a big hot spot. I do definitely first places I usually start off are going to be like gallbladder and liver, because they like to hang out there. I think you've been knell in the head. I know you did. On the last podcast, some parasites really love where all the energy is at. They love to go to the testes, and they love to go to the ovaries. And whenever females, especially when they say that I get bloating down in my lower pelvic area, I have severe cramping, severe, you know, strain. I even have spotting or mucus, but down below, you need to check those areas. And so the testes, the ovaries, liver, gallbladder, I find a lot just hiding. We say large intestine, definitely. But I never forget also is a small intestine. And the small intestine, we know about SIBO, small intestinal bacterial growth. But what I have told individuals is that if you have intermittent constipation and diarrhea, yes, the liver and gallbladders might probably one number one. But I literally go into and find that small intestine, because you said before, if the small intestine is infected, and there's parasites in there, and they make their way into your bloodstream, they eventually would go back into the liver and they'll go to your heart. So you can have parasites, guys, you're not trying to get too confusing in the heart. Yes. In the ovaries and testes, but you have to check that small intestine. So those are my primary areas. And that's where I can see some of the highest activity. There are so many benefits to using red light therapy, especially when it comes to your skin. Yeah, one of the most common parasites that that you find. Oh man, this is good. So protozoa, I'm going to get nerdy. So guys stop me if it bores you to death. A lot of the parasites that most people forget that we get are from mosquitoes. So you get stuff like leshmania, you can get plasmody, which is malaria, you can get try panesoma, you can get, I won't go to all the names, but these are names of these parasites that you don't think that even think about ever have people that come to you and say, doc, I just get eaten by mosquitoes and they love me. Why? Because mosquitoes carry the parasites and then they can, they complete the process within you. It's a growth pattern. And that's why they'll always bite you because you may have a form of leshmania. So what happens is the parasites like these that I'm just mitching, plasmody, malaria and babesia, which is lime related that can come from ticks, those are some of the most common because everybody gets bit by mosquitoes. They'll make their way to the liver and to the brain, sometimes the heart. If you are a person that maybe a, you know, like I'm not saying it's only foreign countries, but let's say you ate a lot of different fish that may not been too clean, or you ate a lot of vegetables that had parasites on them. The others would be you could have tapeworms, pinworms are some of the most common and stronguloides, stronguloides, there's a lot many of them. That's a threadworm that comes up through the dirt. So you'll find the dirt, if you love the outside, don't be afraid, but you'll find stronguloides, threadworms, pinworms and those those pesky tapeworms and hookworms or some that come that come into the body. But you'll have two classes, protozoa for the mosquitoes, the others come from the dirt, maybe some uncooked or undercooked meeks and such like that. Now, one of the most common symptoms that people will experience that they have parasite infections. Normally, I say if you get bloating like right after you eat, and you have diarrhea and constipation, and you realize that you get these aches and pains and twitches in your colons, this is like some individual come to you and say, Doc, like, I get a twinge right here in my gut every time I eat a certain food, every time I eat seriously candy or fruit, parasites. And if you eat something, and you feel in your head tingles or twitches, pins and needles around your ears around your eyes, you've probably got protozoa parasite not to sound scary. They're like when we talk about babesia, like that's from ticks and such they love blood. They love to go to the little areas of sinuses where the blood stays. So remember, prickling, pins and needles, and any type of cramping, loading or diarrhea. Oh, another one though, burning sensations in the feet. If you get hot hands or burning sensations in the hands and feet, they think it's just neurology. I'm like, no, go get parasites, check four. That's good to know. Now, everybody's exposed to these microorganisms, but some people end up with these chronic long lasting, really detrimental infections, whereas other people seem to be able to, in a sense, almost like a hormetic stress, meaning that it's a stress or that their body's able to adapt to effectively. Yes. I think you and I were talking about this, which is really important, that individuals that have genetic variants like MDHFR or they have a genetic weakness that comes from their genetic line, some individuals can live their life having parasites. I unfortunately couldn't. I was the baby of the family and I had double homozygous, MTHFR genes. There's a few of them guys. But what happens is there are some individuals who have such toxic livers, toxic gallbladders, they have leaky gut syndrome, they got a lot of mucus in the gut. Those individuals usually are going to find themselves a little more, you know, injured by the parasites. And I'll tell you a funny story. One of my family members, my brother, that guy could eat chicken wings and hot sauce and everything for his whole life. And he's like, he's older than me and he would never have a sore stomach. He never gets sick. And it used to irritate me. You know, I couldn't even eat a piece of pizza without it hurting my stomach. But to give hope, when you talk about cleaning out the gut and cleaning out the mucus and healing the lining, those are very important. And some individuals hate to say that if you do have that predisposition, if your mom or dad had that, you could have predisposition and that can make you more susceptible. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. Some people just, their constituency is stronger and maybe they sleep deeper. Yes. Right. You know, they just tend to be more resilient than other people. And it might have to do in some cases with toxicity exposures too. Right. In some cases, some people are just much more toxic, which makes their constituencies weaker. Right. That's right. Yeah. I found it's, you hit the nail in the head, the patients that come in and they'll have higher parasitic load or even higher bacterial loads, you look at their history and those individuals have lived near places that had high factory runoff water. I've had individuals that lived near airports where they would, the fumes from the airports where all those individuals had high amounts of cancers or leukemia, but they would have higher parasitic load. Any individuals that lived near farmlands that had a lot of pesticides or even near running water like rivers where they had factory runoff. And one of the things you'll find is that individuals with higher metal content in their guts, glyphosates, pesticides, beryllium, barium, cobalt, nickel, any of those heavy metals are in there, make it really hard for the cells to heal. And those individuals have a lot of parasites normally. Yeah. Those are things I use. Makes sense. Our stress bucket is getting too high. We have these toxicities that are holding us back from healing and then you add in the infections, also trauma, stress, right? Things like that. Oh, that's one thing I do like to talk about on the podcast is when we talk about trauma, and I'm not going to go too deep into it, but we talked about liver and gallbladder. Yeah. If a person, as you know, I know you've talked about this, but if a person lived in a house, so would they say, well, there's anger, that's a liver emotion. But I don't want people to think that it's just like emotions and thoughts. But if your liver works hard to accomplish your goal, you are a hard worker. The liver is growth in Chinese medicine. It means that you're taking all the nutrients, you're using your MTHFR genes to create ligaments and tendons, more hormones, more enzymes. But if you work hard and stress your liver to grow, you could at times make more histamine. You can get a little more irritated because histamine keeps going. And so if an individual has higher histamine and they're a little more agitated, you work hard for what you get. They call this starvation mode. That's why fasting works so well for the liver. But if you were grazing a home where you didn't have enough, there's not enough food, there's not enough money, there's not enough love, your liver will work harder to counteract that. And then the liver dumps that bile right down into the gallbladder. And the gallbladder is a reserve of energy, a reserve. So you have extra ompf later. So you use that extra ompf to keep what you got. So I worked hard for something and I'm not going to let it go. And that's a natural thing we do. But you'll find that individuals that have this program, and it's not a bad program, I'm just saying that it could be a little detrimental if you let it override your nervous system, those individuals will naturally have more liver or gallbladder problems and they'll attract the parasites to those areas. So if a trauma is in a person's life, I really make it a point to look at their health history. And if they come in and I keep finding liver, you know, if I have liver 14, liver 13, and they're like, I can't even touch this spot, it hurts so bad or this spot. When I first started out, I was like, well, that's your liver, let's clean it out. But the sides of the body can tell you where you have a liver issue. If it's on your right side, it's associated with the female side of the DNA, the eggs DNA. If it's on the left, normally from research, it says from the sperm DNA. So if it's on the right side, I go, well, did your mom have gallbladder issues? Or did she have issues with resentment or frustration or hyper excitability? My mom did. Great. So then you learn about how they handle their trauma and they usually have a trauma associated with the mother. So you start to get these like small stories that start to make sense. So I want everybody out there to know that you're not your history, but it is heavily influenced on your constitution. You're right. So that's how I looked in my trauma. And I will say that there's times I've worked really hard to get people's parasites out. Again, all the some herbs, we'll talk about that work really hard at it. And there are homeopathics, we can go into that as well. There's homeopathic, certain flouruses, certain techniques. But when they start to recognize that I've worked hard for something, somebody tried to take it away from me, my identity, who I am, my job, my position, that's where your problem's at. That's my opinion of it. But I see a lot of trauma. So our mental emotional wounds in a sense are going to play a big role with this. Man, I think that you and I see it all the time. We have to come and you see it on people's faces. You know that they're hurt and they're injured and my heart goes out to them. But a lot of the patients that do come into the clinic really do come because they've heard, and I'm not touting myself as a counselor therapist, but using acupuncture points and things to help relieve that organ so you become more open to the trauma you went through. So hopefully you can find a practitioner that will help you try to process it out. Yeah, it's so important. Now, how about testing strategies? I know that you'll use muscle testing. Are there any labs that you like to look at? Yes. Yes. Parasite, this is the thing though. Truly out there, there's not a lot of good parasite tests. Now, there is one place in New York City, the New York state, that they actually have an old school parasitology testing. They'll actually take your poop and put it under a microscope. And they're hard to kind of get into to have them test. There's also a parasitology lab out in Arizona. I can give you the links for it so you can put it on anybody who needs a caption. And they're out in Arizona and they will do the same thing. So those two areas are probably some of my top picks. There are more that are trying to come out there, but I will say this, a lot of the parasite testing has to do with taking the protein coats, the actual DNA components and trying to find the parasite in the person, which is great. Like when you do a poop test, like GI MAP test, we know GI MAP tests are great. Genova diagnosis has a good one. You can go over to vibrant wellness, it has a good one. They do have solid choices. But if you do suspect it, we can give you the links for these two places. I'm not promoting them, I'm not sponsored by them. But those are some of my top picks, I would say that would actually help you get an idea that there's parasites in there. If you're busy with work, family and activities like I am, you're probably using up your electrolytes, leaving you wired, tired and depleted. You see, what most people don't realize is that if you're under stress or doing intermittent fasting, eating a low carb diet, training hard, or even just living an active busy life, you're losing more electrolytes like sodium, potassium and magnesium than you probably realize. And most electrolyte drinks don't come close to replacing them. That's one of the reasons I use relight from Redmond every day. It's made with Redmond's Real Salt, an ancient, unrefined sea salt from Utah that naturally contains trace minerals. And it contains two types of magnesium for better absorption. There's no sugar, no artificial ingredients, just a clean formula that actually works. And it has unique trace minerals that improve cellular hydration better than any other electrolyte formula on the market. I drink these electrolytes every day because I can feel the energy boost. I have better mental clarity while I'm working and greater strength gains in the gym. And they've even improved my sleep quality. My routine is simple. I use the unflavored relight while fasting in the morning. Then a flavored version, my favorites would be strawberry and lemon lime. I use those around workouts. If you want to try it for yourself, go to Redmond.life forward slash Dr. Jockers. That's Redmond, R-E-D-M-O-N-D.life forward slash Dr. Jockers. Use the code Jockers at checkout for 15% off today. So GI map can be good. Some of these tests that are looking at like PCR, things like that. Anything on like blood work? Blood work there is, again, there are some, like when you go to Genover, if you go to, now I think that Mosaic labs may have some that actually point you to parasites. Yeah. They're not as adept to looking into them. One of the things I do, the parasites that I do think that are really looked for are malaria and babesia. Now, those are protozoa parasites. If you go to a place like Igenics, which is in California, IgE and X, they'll look for more lime infections, but they'll look for the parasite associated with. There's also one called DNA connections. It's C-O-N-N-E-X. They do a lot with even like testing cavitations in the jaw. They'll take blood spotting and they will try to take for blood parasites. They won't necessarily see a lot of the worms or the roundworms because the blood test probably will not show that on a blood spot. So I like Igenics, DNA connections. I wish that there were more that really looked for roundworms. What I always look at too is if somebody just comes in with a routine complete blood count, if I see the eosinophils elevated like up over three, that usually it's which is a white blood cell that can elevate when you either have an allergic reaction or parasite. That also is a sign. That is a very great sign, a great point because I also whenever we were talking about it, if you look at somebodies like their oats test, even if it's looking for fungus, if you look at somebody and their B6 is a bit low and their hemoglobin and hematocrit, if they have the signals and signs that they have too many platelets regrowing, they're having a high amount of platelet growth and you're like, why are you trying to create new red blood cells? Why is your hematocrit so off? Because their body get what happens to red blood cells if the parasites get into it and they damage it. That's what they do. So the B6 comes in, gets inside or malaria, they eat it all, eat all your insides, all the hemoglobin, all the B6, all the iron, then eventually it will grow that red blood cell and pop it open. So your body says, well I don't have enough red blood cells to carry oxygen or iron, so I'm going to grow more. So then you have all these platelets starting to grow. You have more problems with your hematocrit, more stuff with your B6 or hemoglobin. You have all these variants and they'll tell you, well they say that I have higher amounts of platelets and my hemoglobin is a little bit off. I don't have enough iron and my oxygen is low. Okay, all right. First thing I think of, if it's eosin, it feels, I'll say you got parasites. Yeah. And well you see the serum ferritin, the storage form of iron high? Yeah. Because the body tries to sequester it and keep it away from the parasite? That's a very good point. Yes, man, you're filling in the blanks. When ferritin comes into play, if they ever come in and they say, Doc, things are pretty good, but my ferritin is this high. I'm like, you got a stealthy parasite though. Because usually with that comes to play, I always look for like babesia and there are some bacteria that have like parasites like rickettsia, rocky mount, and spotted fever. Sometimes Bartonella, which is like cat scratch fever, those will do it. And so you always have to find those small signs and signals because what we usually do is if you get a normal blood test, most practitioners or healthcare practitioners will look at it and go, oh, they're kind of in the high range, low range, you're fine in the middle. I'm like, no, you have to look at these small signs and signals. Because if babesia grows, I mean, even certain bacteria, you can have millions of those little spores that grow in a few days. And if you had it for all like 10 years, how much babesia is in your body? And that's what makes it so alarming is because if a babesia or a malaria parasite gets in your red blood cell, there's no real mitochondria into it. So it's free form. I can go in there and eat all day. If it attacks a cell that has mitochondria, they'll give off a little signs and signals that there's something in here. So you have to be very mindful of your like literally your rithrocytes, your red blood cells, pay attention to that, especially if you have anemia. And when people come in, they have pale skin. And they're always pale. My son's always pale. They can never get color, blood parasite. That's my first shot. Sure. Yeah. And if they have anemia and they don't have like really heavy menstrual cycles and things like that, like there's no like major blood loss. And yet they're anemic. That's the first unit I think of. Yeah. I get too picky though, because I always feel that I'm like, I don't want to act like I do know. Right. But I'd rather have that umph to search for it. Yeah. And not find it, then just let it slide. Well, you see certain patterns, right? And so you know that. Okay, this pattern is leading me in this direction. Now, let's talk about some of the best herbs and strategies that you like to utilize for these parasites. Okay. First of all, okay. So if it's really stealthy and you had this, I do, I'll give you the list of herbs guys. But what I have been experiencing the last three years, I know people talk about homeopathy and I know it's a little bit, some people like it, some people don't. But like I use Desbio. I like Desbio. It's a great company. But what happens is, is if an infection prefaces this, if it gets in between your cells or in your red blood cell or in your cell, what will happen is it will trick your cell. It'll trick your body to think it's normal. It will do all it can to release certain chemicals to keep your body and your cells alive. So when keep taking ATP from you. So I use certain homeopathics for that particular infection, I suspect, and I'll get them on a small, nice even dosage of drops, even sprays to get their body aware of the frequency of the energy of the infection. So it brings it up. So then if I find infections, I usually hit the big ones. Artemisia is my big ones. I love Vedanga. Vedanga is one for roundworms, but it'll kill strep. Vidainga, V-I-D-A-N-G-A, Vedanga, Artemisia, black walnut, really great. A couple of merinda, anoni, those are top of my top four. So I don't want to get too complicated. But if you look at those four, it will do lots of wonders for you. And those are my top herbs, but man, I keep going. I'm sorry. I'm over here. Yeah. Cause you got like sweet wormwood. When I started thinking about clove, sweet wormwood. Clove is so good. Yeah, man. I love clove. Clove is strong though. Yeah. But yeah, I'm sure it is. But I tell people, I'm like, when you get the clove, you know, a whole, the Clark says, take like four to six a day. I'm like, be a little mindful of how, how much it works. But I like when you use different combinations. And this is the key though. Some people love multi combination, like parasites, like a cell core has a good one, a Rogers hood has a good one. They have different in a combination because they like the shotgun effect, which I love because it keeps some, the parasites guessing. At first, when I start off, I'll do single ingredients to see if I can get a big punch, but that you're right. Those parasites will get used to it and they'll, they'll know when it's in the bloodstream and they'll hide. So what I like to do is when they come in, I will do one herb for like three weeks and I'll switch them over to another one. And I'll do that for about six weeks to eight weeks, give them a little reprieve, take about two, three weeks off, and then wait a bit and then see if they start to lay eggs because they get mad. They lay eggs, they'll poop, they'll urinate and they'll get, they'll make you go fry your brain if you're not careful. And then you start off in another, in another session. So it could take six to eight months to clean a lot of them out. Now, is there a specific protocol that you like? Like for example, somebody comes in, let's say they've got worms, different types of worms, maybe roundworms. What's a typical protocol look like? First of all, with roundworms, I always try to find the organ that's involved, my best. So it doesn't necessarily mean I'm, I can find where the parasites exactly, but I primarily check pulse points, tongue, I'll check and see which organs are most infected. Then I'll use an herb to strengthen that organ. So let's say it was a liver, I will do chisandra, or I'll do a milk thistle or dandelion. So I start to get rejuvenation. I'll use a homeopathic for that organ, get that, bring it to the service. Next thing I do is if it's a roundworm, I'll go right to Vedanga. Okay. I can use Artemisia as well. If you're thinking it's a protozoa, like a little babesia or something that's a really little round, you know, ball of a parasite, then I'll go into black walnut, or I'll try to make a mixture of that with the Artemisia sweet worms. Good. Clove is a good overall general cleansing. You can use that with everything. So I use, again, Artemisia, a little bit of clove with the protozoa, the dangas for the roundworms and such. That's what I'll do. Now, what do you use for blastocystis hominus? I see that oftentimes show up on the GI map. Yeah. In particular, a lot of relationships between that and Hashimoto's thyroiditis, as well as different IBS type symptoms. Yes. What do you like for that? I mean, I'm not trying to repeat, but I'll tell you a couple other ones. I really like, I'll start off with Artemisia. So if you guys remember that, Artemisia, you can check it out, but there's also one called Coptus. Chinese Coptus is called gold thread or golden thread. If you use either one of those, those are really good for blastocystis in my experience. Another one that I really like to use that is not commonly used for parasites is scutillary or skull cap. Skull cap will kill a lot of yeast and fungus, but it will help with blastocystis. So scutillary or skull cap, and it's safe for pregnant ladies and kids and such, for my golden release. Yes. Safe for pregnant. Wow. What will happen is they've used it for kids with cradle cap, and so they would give it to kids and mothers that had a lot of yeast, and you'll find that those kids, if they, even in the womb, now ask your primary care doctor, but if they use that while in the room, they'll have a lot less yeast, a lot less parasites. Wow. That's, that's, I know it's a lot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's interesting. Don't forget to use our link so they know that we sent you. Now, how about Mamosa Pudica? Have you heard of that one? Love it. Love it. I almost forgot. Mamosa is like one that we use to help. I always feel like it's like a Velcro. So Mamosa. It's like real gelatin. It's very gelatinous. So people think you have rope worms or it's just a mucus plug. It doesn't matter. There'll be parasites. The roundworms will get into the walls of the intestines in the small intestine. And if you take a Mamosa Pudica and let's say you did have roundworms or any type of fluke, a fluke worm, if you have that, that Mamosa Pudica will act like a big gelatinous Velcro and it'll stick to it and it'll pull all out the colon out of the walls. So it'll pull the eggs out. It'll pull cyst out. It'll pull the worms out. So when people have really bad stuck areas, like if I pressed on your stomach and I found an area that's rock hard and I was giving them more Artemisian wormwood and it's like, that's not really, you know, moving. There's some stuff coming out. Go to Mamosa Pudica. And some practitioners, they start right off the bat with Mamosa. Like, because like cell core has really good Mamosa. Like that's one of their biggest things they sell. So I like Mamosa. I think it's a good way for cleaning up mucus too. Yeah. Now, are you getting pictures from your patients where they'll poop in these things out? Oh man, I could show you my phone right now. Like when people say, I love this. This call is great. I get weekly, I mean, I could say daily, but I'll get pictures, you know, all HIPAA compliant. They'll send me stuff and they'll say, doc, what is this that's coming out of my body? I could tell you different stories. So we talk about poop and if this is too graphic guys, fast forward through this. But I, you got it. My followers know you got to pee and poop your way to good health. That's key. You got to get the toxins out, hydrate, pee them out, got to poop them out too. Oh, I'll tell you just a couple of stories, but I had some patients that had recurring UTIs. This is a good point. And what will happen on a recurring UTI or bladder meridian is this is some of your small sign of signals. You'll get pain right here. Has bladder one, you'll get itchy scalp or you'll get thick, like almost like cradle cap, but you'll get this thick dermatitis right here. Sometimes you get back pain, but some of the times it's like females who come in, especially normally in males, they'll have cracked heels or they'll get planter fasciitis. Well, this patient had that and you couldn't press right around here over here and right above the bladder or she would just come off the table and she would tell me, she'd say, Hey, I'm Gavin night terrors, which is another bladder issue. I started giving her a cup. I can't remember what I actually gave her. I think I gave her a little Artemisia for that one, but we started cleaning her for her bladder and started getting the parasites out. And she took a picture and she sent it back. She goes, this came out of my urine and that whether what people want to say, but that thing was like a four inch long worm and I've had patients send me stuff that come out of the urine like literally because they, there's so many parasites that stay up in the bladder like, wow. And there's a ton that they've seen in research and journals that there are so many cysts and so many worms that hang out in the kidneys. Like you can see these in microbiology journals. So to think that they are not in your urators or your kidneys, that's crazy, they're there. I had other patients that have had, man, I've had them that had growths on their necks, on their necks and like literally oozing. Oh my gosh, oozing, right? Now I'm not claiming guys that I treat this, but they've heard like, Hey, I don't know what this is. What do you think it is on? So I use some kinesiology and they've had a lot of blood tests and I look at blood tests, I'm like, there's a parasite in there. I use some of my frequency scans and I was like, well, I think there could be some worm activity and I could even pictures, but started putting them on, especially a drainage homeopathic. And we started working with, I did some of the dango, heavy amounts of the dango, and I had to use another one called neem, Malia. Yeah, neem. And that works too well too. And sure enough, man, he goes, like about four days later, he goes, Hey, I pulled this out of my neck and it came through his, and he's pulled four to five this long. And you can see the vein in the middle. These worms? Yes. And I was like, well, I'm not bragging about it. I'm just saying that it even sometimes surprises me. And now it stopped oozing. It would get a yellowish color, a clear color. And I could tell you so many crazy stories like even with, I've had some pictures of bowel movements where it's so blatant that there's worms there. They didn't eat bean sprouts. They didn't eat noodles. And then they go get tests, is like, Oh, there's nothing in your poop. And I'm like, no, you have it in there. But yeah, lots of pictures. Now, what do you find with the relationship between the full moon and parasite activity? Quite a bit. One of the biggest things is that, especially with women's cycles, if it's full moon, it happens to men too. So we all will create quite a bit, a different amount of progesterones. And we have progesterone activity and certain types of hormonal activity. Also, there's a lot of activity of like neurotransmitters. And like if we had like serotonin and dopamine. But what happens a lot of times is the parasites, they will munch on some of the precursors and some of the intermediates to the serotonin, for example, like the tryptophan or the 5-HTP. And they have found different types of parasites, like they'll say toxoplasma, which you get from cats, they'll eat up on those things. And you'll find that worms get in higher activity, certain protozoa parasite, because a person's hormones are a little bit imbalanced, they're changing levels. So for them, it becomes a meal, like because there's so much nutrient movement within a full moon. And I think pressure, like from atmospheric pressure, pushes things out of the joints and out of the tissue. But hormonal changes in full moons will cause those crews to come out. Do you find that the full moon is like a better time? Did you have a parasite cleanse? Totally, great, great point. I've had patients that wait for the full moon and they will hammer it for like two weeks. I know patients that would, they knew that their parasites love french fries because they'll eat starches, because yeast will eat it too. And I know patients that would say, Hey, every full moon, I would eat like a whole, they don't eat, like they said, but I know it's going to pull out, they go literally go to in and out or something, eat a whole bunch of french fries, and they pull it out and they would take tons of mimosa. And they said, and I've seen, they would show pictures in their bowl, their toilet bowl of like these small tomato skin flukes just all over. And I had one lady that had that and she recently lost a husband and she had anxiety every full moon like severe and it just kept, it was, it was light anxiety throughout the month, but in full moon, she would go into full anxiety and she didn't really, it was unusual. She needed a lot of black walnut. I remember she needed a lot of black walnut, which I use black walnut a lot, but it's not this high amount and she needed a lot of mean. And she said she, that full moon, she said she was eating with eating lunch. She's like, told her son's like, I need to go home. And he's like, what's the matter? Go to the restroom. She says the length of the whole head or the length of it. She says, you know what? She goes, I haven't had a lick of anxiety since. And I was like, I mean, I'm just as much dumbfounded by it as well, but definitely full moon. Did you know that a recent Harvard study found that low intakes of omega three fatty acids kills up to 90,000 Americans each year? You see a mega three fatty acids helps support the heart, brain, eyes, and immune system. A deficiency can lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, memory, brain and mood issues and inflammatory conditions. Many people have turned to fish oil supplements as a solution, but there is growing concern about the high rates of rancidity in these products. In addition, some fish oil supplements contain fatty acids in a form that is less bioavailable. Research consistently shows benefits for increasing fish consumption, but does not always find the same benefits for fish oil consumption. Enter Paleo Valley's wild caught fish row, a whole food, full spectrum source of a mega three fatty acids in a more bioavailable form. Fish row reprise superfood in traditional cultures and ancestral diets. And guys, you can check these out as well. They are awesome. I use them every single day and they have some great benefits. They're rich in EPA and DHA, which are long chain fatty acids that help support healthy blood pressure, cardiovascular health, mood, and brain function as well as a healthy inflammation levels. And so check it out. Go to paleo valley dot com forward slash jokers. Check out their fish row at that link. You'll get a 15% off coupon for anything that you want to purchase. Just go to paleo valley dot com forward slash jokers. Check out the Paleo Valley wild caught fish row and all their other wonderful products. One of the reasons why I love the fish row is it's rich in vitamin E, vitamin D, vitamin B2, absorbable phospholipids, which really help with brain function. It has choline, selenium, lots of really powerful whole food based nutrients that you can't get in your traditional fish oil. And because it's in kind of this whole food form, it's more stable and doesn't oxidize and more bio available for your body. So guys, check out the fish row. Go to paleo valley dot com forward slash jokers. That will save you 15% off the fish row and any other products that you want to get. Yeah, so those parasites will release toxins that will cause brain inflammation, driving up that anxiety. Oh my, yeah. And so... And definitely if they're in the head, because I mean even if you make on CDC, parasites are shown to go to brain tissue because they love the fats and they love the sugars. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we've used the cell core. My team has used the cell core full moon parasite cleanse. It was hated hard. People are constantly sharing all these amazing success results with that. It's been a really good one, the full moon parasite cleanse. Now, what I found is that, you know, I've heard a lot of practitioners talk about how it's not terribly hard to get rid of the parasites. Sometimes it's gonna be really hard to get rid of the eggs. So it's like the worms die or the protozoa die. Yes. But then there's still eggs in the system. Yes. And then hatch and then the parasites back. Yeah. And that's why with some practitioners and guys in comments, because I love all the advice I can get, we'll do a little bit heavier mimosa during those times to try to peel the eggs out. Other individuals say they will go after herbals such as like mangista or rubio, mangista or something that helps their lymph flow. So they'll, during those times, you got to get your lymph to flow very well and clean your lymph. And if you clean your lymph, get that area like you'll start to push out more eggs. And it's really, it's amazing thing when you start really flushing the lymph. And when you get the eggs out, you'll find that after they start to hatch, you'll get pretty angry or upset. So I always try to do some mimosa. Some of the menges are something for lymph flow. Yeah. Dry brushing. Yes. Hydration. So. And infrared sauna. Oh yeah, infrared sauna. Like people that tell me that their body smells when they're doing a parasite cleanse, they'll say, well, I have a sulfur smell. Like I have B.O. doc that's crazy. Like my right armpit is smellier than my left. Does it mean you have pairs? I say maybe not, but it's in your lymph system because they try to find everywhere to hide. So I would say pay attention. Dry brush, infrared, do that every single day. Vibration plates gently because if they're stuck, it can make you feel sick. And I really love it when people do coffee enemas. Some people don't love them, but I'll do a patient's command, man. And they will do, I had one patient, one, I've had many patients that love coffee enemas because they were so constipated all their life. And I'm with you. You need to get your nutrients in there. Let's heal up the leak you got. Let's get this thing, you get some good nutrients to give you a good backdrop. But they will do that and they'll come in and like their meridian system is so clear. And I would go, what in the world did you do? And they're like, I just been doing coffee enemas. It's because they're getting all those eggs out. So don't ever be afraid. I get it when people say, well, if you do an enema, you may slow down your peristalsis. I understand that. But I honestly think that if people cleared out, I've seen peristalsis increase because there's not extra neurotoxins in that colon anymore. So if you guys want something simple, coffee enema. Yeah, because there's some endotoxins that will trigger constant diarrhea. And there's some endotoxins that will trigger basically that they'll block the muscle contractions and intestines. Yeah. And it's always a learning curve for me. And I think when we talk about like learning of which parasite and you'll see these journals and they all do different things because they want to eat the food they want. So you're right. You have to know that if you have a back and forth between constipation and diarrhea, there could be two or three different types of parasites. And that's just normal. That's fine. We all have parasites, but that's why like if a patient comes in and they have constant diarrhea. And what will happen is if you find an area where they have a lot of mucus and biofilm in there and you use something like chonkopadra like stonebreaker and you go in and start pulling that stuff out of the mucus, they'll have a little section of constipation. They're like, talk, I was having diarrhea. Now I'm kind of constipated. So you have to be able to know which, how much you give them that of that herb to pull that mucus out. But you also got to give them enough different things to help them like pull the parastalsis and keep it going. And do you use binders? Do you use? I do. What types of binders are you like? I mean, biotoxin binders are great. Yeah. And V-Ride chem from Cell Course is a really good one, even though it's for like radiation, like, but if you can get rid of glyphosates and you can bind those metals. And I like tochusumine. Tochusumine is blackened charcoal from Supreme Nutrition. You use those, but this is what I always tell people at night or during your day, when you take your binder, see if it keeps you flushed, see if it keeps your inflammation down. If you start to get a little constipated because it's pulling so much of your toxins out, it'll start pulling your minerals and it could get you a little constipated. So just be mindful. There's one, I like, it's by Desbio. It's called Tox-A-Fix, T-O-X-A-F-F-I-X. And they got Clorella spirulina. They got the, man, it works really good too. So guys, those are good. Cell Core has a good one. Toxasumi, Tox-A-Fix are good binders. And I find that some patients never want to get off their binder. They're like, I've got to get off this. Yeah, good. I'm never getting off of it. So. Well, and that can be one of the things that you do. That was going to be my last question is, like, how do we prevent parasite infections to begin with? Like, what, what, what, what sort of lifestyle strategies? What are things that we can be doing on a regular basis to prevent these things from getting bad? Yes. Number one, we have a natural defense system in our stomach. You have to have good acids. You're never going to not encounter a parasite. So I always try to strengthen the stomach. And I don't want to get too long-winded, but you have to get, if you can use B10HCl or pepsin, you can use certain types of enzymes to help activate some HCl. But what happens is a lot of parasites will damage the HCl pair, other pumps. So I always try to find things that will encourage the strength of the stomach, homeopathics, and again, like certain enzymes. But I have to naturally check which herbals I like ginseng. Ginseng is really good to help start this off. So that's number one for me. To prevent, wash your vegetables and fruit, put with apple cider vinegar, put some baking soda, soak them really well because they come in that way. I always say, even with meats, very good quality meat. Make sure you have- So cook it well. Cook it well. And I know people like it medium, medium rare. I say, if you're dealing with parasites, be mindful of how rare it is. Fish, I say, take a little back in this stale, don't do a lot of sushi. Not saying it's bad. Just don't do a lot of sushi. These are just the normal things. Don't let your pets kiss you on the face. I love pets. This is not against pets or dogs or cats. But a lot of the time, the animals have a lot of the parasites in their paws. It'll be in their skin. They'll get on your pillows. It can get into you. What are some good or the good ones? Also, whenever you suspect that there's a common source like a partner, you have to be careful of your partner. If your partner eats a not-so-well diet and they are having the symptoms and you are trying to work yourself and you see that they have it, they got to do a pair of parasite cleanse. You will transform back and forth. Those are some of my common things to do. And if you have a pet or a partner that has it, you need to do a parasite cleanse together. And these are just some common things you can do that can really help. Yeah. Yeah. That's some great suggestions. And then, of course, blood sugar stabilizing diet, regular exercise, keep stress under control, sleep well, right? Get sunshine. Sunshine. And I would say that as you were talking about the using exercise and using those things to actually create movement, I'm with you 100%. You got to keep moving. You're not going to feel like moving, but you got to keep your lymph flowing. You got to keep moving. You got to do some exercise. And if you can do foam rolling, if you can do something to keep that lymph to flow, you got to keep the motion going. And I really, really encourage all the, like your morning routine, gold. That's the morning routine is where it's at. That's super important. Set your mindset up for success. Guys, this is Dr. Chris Motley from the Ancient Health Podcast.
