Summary

Two podcast hosts recap their Super Bowl LX weekend in San Francisco, including a surprise birthday party, Shaq's Fun House, the official NBC Sailgate pregame show on a boat, and Bad Bunny's halftime performance. They also discuss the latest episode of Traitors Season 4, analyzing Rob Mariano's strategic gameplay and Candace's banishment.

Insights
  • Celebrity and influencer events are increasingly leveraging multi-platform content creation, with attendees simultaneously documenting moments for social media rather than fully engaging in real-time experiences.
  • Strategic alliance-building in competition shows like Traitors requires balancing loyalty with individual gameplay; the most successful players (like Rob) treat alliances as temporary tactical tools rather than binding commitments.
  • Public figures face significant reputational risk when making culturally insensitive comments on social media, with rapid community backlash leading to content deletion and potential professional consequences.
  • Live event production at scale (Super Bowl pregame) requires extensive coordination across multiple venues and broadcast segments, with technical challenges (sound/lighting issues) affecting audience experience.
  • Personality and charisma can significantly influence perception and trust in competitive environments, allowing players to deflect suspicion despite strategic gameplay.

I barely went out last night. I mean, I didn't go out after that boat and I am struggling. I can't imagine how you are feeling. Well, I think you could probably hear a little in my voice. I sure can. It's been a full weekend for me. Okay, let's start from the beginning. Tell us about your Friday. Okay, so I flew in Friday. You had a surprise birthday party, which you couldn't really talk about because it was a surprise. Totally. And I had a great time at the surprise birthday party. Mary sent me this photo on Saturday and I said, oh, there she is. It was mom and dad's first night out and everyone there had a great time for John's birthday and it was lumberjack theme and I had a blast. I was home by midnight, but man, when you don't go out often. What you can do in a few hours. Exactly. You're not here for a long time. You're here for a good time. I maximized my time while I was out of the house. And it sounded like a blast. I said, what were you drinking? What did you say you had a shot of? Oh, I had Fernette because it's a it's a digestee. Oh, yes. So fancy. Helps your stomach. Did it? No. So while you were at that birthday party, my friend and I went to Shaq's Fun House and we did not know what it was. You guys, Mary was very concerned about our safety. Well, I was like, it's at the Cow Palace. It was fine. It turned out fine. It was fine. We were laughing like there's a bay club right next door. I think we'll be okay, Mary. But we were keeping her updated. So we had no idea what to expect. It was so much fun. I think because we had literally zero expectations that we had like the best time. So they had a full carnival in the parking lot of it. So you had your Ferris wheels, like the slides, all these different setups. And then I will say the alcohol of choice was tough. It was box one. It was a beatbox, which yes, I believe is some. Now, there were other options, but I was like, oh, no, I think we should drink these. They are full of sugar that they are tough. They are tough. But we were dancing. We were having a fun time. We went. It was DJ Diesel, a.k.a. Shaq. Oh, everyone's a DJ now. Literally everyone, even Shaq. Truly, truly. So he was DJing. There were some sound issues and there were sound issues across the board in SF. Something was going on in this city because our friends that went to Calvin Harris that night too. There was like a 15 minute interstitial where they couldn't figure out what was going on with the sound and lights. Anyway, so the sound and lights kept going out, but they could hear it up there. We couldn't hear it in the crowd. So, you know, they were all vibing. It was great. It was like a silent disco for you. Usually in the silent disco, you still can hear the music. But if somebody walked into that room, they might have thought so. Right. So then it was DJ Diesel into T-Pain, who is so fun. I had seen him at Coachella this past year, but this was like a DJ set, but he still played some of his songs. I didn't see him do his fairy dance. Have you seen that meme of him where he like spins? I have not. He was a fairy. No, I have not. Okay. He didn't do that. So you missed out on nothing. And then it went into Disco Lines, who I was really there for because I love Disco Lines. And that was a really fun set. And we kind of like made our way to the front. Everyone was just having a really good time there. And how late were you there? We didn't stay for Tiesto. So Tiesto was after him. So we left around 1. Oh, my God. There was another person. Oh, yeah. I know. Yeah. Oh, it's only Friday. Sure. I know. You had to conserve. Sunday was the big day. Well, and we still had Saturday. And I knew I was going to Original Joe's on Saturday. Yeah. And you want to be in tip-top shape to enjoy the meal to the best of your ability. But let me tell you, I had to go to a party before that. You did. I went to the meta party and it was fun because DJ Kyle Cook was the DJ. But you guys, I felt really bad for him. My friends there, too, were like, oh, who is the DJ? Like, they didn't know who he was. And so he obviously had some. I mean, he got paid for it. So I think at the end of the day, don't feel sad for him. And we have a redemption story to tell about Kyle Cook. We do. Because, say it. He was an amazing. It was so fun. His DJ set on the boat was so fun. We were genuinely shocked. We do have to say he is a fantastic DJ. He was so fun. Amazing. Yes. And Mary will go into more details because she was like, he's actually DJing. He was playing the tracks. Yeah. Okay. So I go, so I'm at the meta party, right? And they announced that DJ Kyle Cook is coming in. But there's only a few of us that seemingly know who he is. So we're like excited. We're like, hey, Kyle, because we're trying to pump it up the whole thing. It's not that loud in this scene. And he's also wearing the meta Oakley glasses. So he kind of looks douchey if you don't realize he's wearing those glasses on purpose so that he could do his set. So the set starts and he's there and nobody's really around. How many people are in this party? You know I'm bad with numbers. But I mean, I mean, like 50. OK, about 100. OK, maybe 150. Pretty small. It's small. It's like an intimate area. Yeah. But then there was just that open space between the DJ booth and where everybody was because no one was dancing. Well, he just started and then you were just watching him. Then it was like, what's next? So Kay, she's at Kay York City. She's so freaking funny, you guys. She and I were like, should we go closer? How can we support? How can we support? You know, this is still part of the Bravo family, if you will. Yes. So we kind of go up there and then he recognizes us. He's like, oh, my God. Hi. And he could not have been lovelier. And then I was telling people, I was like, get up here. Come on, dance. Lisa Rinna style. And he was still wearing his. He was. He was wearing a wedding ring Saturday and Sunday. We did notice that. I'm sorry. I just spilled a little coffee on your rug. I'll get that later. It's OK. You guys, I can't tell you how much this is so nice right now. We are literally on her couch. She's got a blanket wrapped on her. I'm cuddling. We've got a coffee, a water. Anyways, back to the party. So then I was like, oh, my God, we had dinner plans at 6. This party was at 530. So I went right in the beginning and then I lost track of time. And so I was like, oh, my God, I am so late. And you texted. You're like, I'm having trouble finding a car. It's OK. You know, you'll get here when you get here, you guys. So Mary's trying to tell me she's like, downtown is going to be a mess, Courtney. It's going to be a mess. So she on I think it was Thursday was offering me a lot of options. I was like, you could walk. I'm like, I don't know if you should get in a cab. I was like, you could walk. You could take a bike. Perhaps you could find a pedicab. Like she was giving me all these options. I said, I think I will figure it out. So what did I do? You guys, I ran. I ran because I was so late at this point. Mind you, I'm in like booty heels, decently nice outfit. And I'm sprinting across the city. Okay. Because I was so scared that Mary, I already knew Mary was annoyed that I had this party because I picked the dinner time thinking I wasn't going to the party. That was kind of the craziest part about it because I specifically had asked you what time you wanted the reservation. And you told me that time, 6 o'clock. And I said, I don't know if that's a good idea. And I said, well, I'm not going to go to the party. But then I said, so I did lie about that and I will be attending the party. We're not going to change it. I know. I know. But I felt bad because I already knew that I was like running late on that. and we had some of our friends there and I just felt bad. We were very late as well because I called a car at 525. It took 13 minutes to get a car, which is like unheard of out here. It usually takes two minutes. And then the car was 11 minutes away. And then I had to pick someone. So we were over 30 minutes late for the reservation. I felt so bad, but turned out to be a great meal. It was so fun. So I like shows up, you guys, full on sweating, panting, chugs an entire glass of water before telling us, I just ran through a tunnel and we couldn't believe. I've lived in San Francisco. You know, I'm from San Francisco. I've lived in the city proper for over 15 years and I have never gone through the Stockton Tunnel. What was I supposed to do? You could go up and over. I wasn't going up and over all those stairs. Like I was already running slightly uphill because I was going from downtown to North Beach, which means nothing to me I just knew it was one straight street. But as soon as I started in this tunnel and I heard the voices and I was on the phone with my mom and I was like, just stay on the line. She's like, what? Are you drunk? What's going on? I'm like, I'm sprinting. I'm so late to dinner. I'm in this random tunnel. I have no idea what's going to happen. I got to get through it. And then I just kept going because I felt bad that I was so late. And then I get there and you guys are like, oh, we just like ordered apps. No big deal. I was like, oh, my God. I wasn't like texting you. Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? No, but I also wasn't texting you on my way. I texted you when I was two minutes away to be like, oh, I was there because I felt, I just felt bad. The amount that it was going to take to get an Uber would be the same amount of time it would have taken me to walk. It would have taken you longer. And I was like, you had been in the Uber. And I was like, I could run, which would make me faster. So I could beat this time. I'm like beating the clock. And you sure did. She probably arrived at 7. 7.09. Okay. Because I know that I clocked. I took six minutes off that arrival time. Yeah. But we, you know, we had dirty martinis. We had the meatballs. We had the spinach dip. We had the most beautiful charcuterie board. That was so gorge. Delish. We had steak. We had the merry-me pasta. We had the spicy rigatoni. We had tiramisu. We had the Zanzi cheesecake. It was really fun because Maggie Kelly came over from Preston Bravo and Vanessa from Real Moms. And they ended up like having some espresso martinis with us at the end of the night. Hannah Aaron Brown was with us, too, and our other friends. So it was just it was a girl's night. Now, Vanessa's husband was there, too, but it was still a girl's night. It really was. And it was just a fun way. I felt like that was such a fun night for us to like get excited for yesterday. Totally. Totally. So thank you, Original Joes, too, because they were the absolute best, giving us a reservation, letting us just like have a time. We were gabbing. We were chatting. We were laughing. I didn't want to leave, but I knew we had an early morning and I booked my Uber. You scheduled it. Yes, because I was very, very nervous. After the snafu you had to deal with of being late to OJ's, you said, I will not miss that boat. Yes, because we had to be at the dock at 8.15 a.m. And we were very prompt. We were the first people there. I didn't want to take any chances. No, we were not missing that boat. We were going to sail away. Sail away, sail away, sail away. And yet, she just transformed for a second. We got on the boat. I mean, we were on that boat a long time, you guys. We were on the boat from 9 it left the dock and didn't dock till like 1.50, 1.30. It was a long boat day. And the actual broadcast itself didn't start till 10. So by the time we were on that boat and we'd gone through a couple of things, I was like, how is it only 11.15? This is supposed to end at one. We are one hour into this broadcast. So we figured out what it was, too. I was just going to explain what the broadcast was a little bit. So it was the official NBC pregame show. And we were one aspect of that pregame. So Mary had been saying, too, I'd heard that there's this pregame happening on Alcatraz. Like, I didn't know what it was. So that was also part of it. Then we were like the Sailgate tailgate party, which had, you know, the Bravo and Peacock people. And then people were obviously they were at the stadium. And so it was the official. So we were just smaller segments from the boat hosted by West and Kate Chastain. But you guys did see us. We were in the audience. We were cheering. Mary and I I was cracking up because we sat in this row and I was like the camera not even going to pick us up for our 0 seconds of fame It not even going to And then those ended up being like the best seats because the first one you couldn see us in it I feel like Candace and Johnny they played this game Beer pong game, basically. And I mean, Courtney held Johnny's phone. He went live on Instagram and then had to do this segment. So I was like, I'll just take your phone. Like we'd already chit-chatted by that. So we were besties at that point, you know. But I was like, let me just take your phone. And I'll like go live for you and like follow along. I had no idea what I was doing. You guys, I couldn't see anything. But then it was funny too, because at one point he was like looking at his phone down and the camera was on his way. I'm like, you're on TV still. It was like, oh shit, thanks. It was so funny. So this is Johnny on House of Villains and he was on Love Island. And actually Courtney had a pretty funny conversation with him. Tell us about that. Okay, so he was wearing this angel's hat. But it was like this green corduroy angels hat. So I said, oh, are you from Orange County? And he's like, no, why? And I said, oh, angels. And he was like, I don't know what you're talking about. And I was like, your hat, the angels hat. And he was like, oh, I bought it because I liked it. It is a very nice hat. And I was like, so what are you doing here? I didn't realize that he was on this season of House of Villains. I said, oh, what are you doing here? And he said, I don't know. i don't i don't think that they necessarily prepped them what they were going to be doing on the boat besides saying like you'll be doing like a fun game with candace or something but details were yes were nair and so finally then they were doing a beer pong thing but no he was really funny though very handsome very cute and i was like oh can we get a selfie and he was like absolutely and then they had to pull him right away to do the game so i was like okay let me back off. Like I'm just, you know, the unhired help over here. And then right when they were done, he was like, Courtney. And I came back and we got a selfie. So he was really sweet. I thought everybody on that boat was so fun. Maybe not Tom Colicchio. Tom, I didn't get one word with. West and him did a segment about the top, how he would rank Super Bowl foods. And I was upset on Mary's behalf. Pigs in a blanket at number three. What? And I said that to him. He walked by. I said, Tom, pigs in a blanket, third. And he just shoulders shrugged me. He did wings at one, sliders at two, three pigs in a blanket, four pizza, five chips and dip. Which is not a bad ranking, but we've just had this PIB conversation. And so it was top of my mind when I saw him put that three. Yeah. He wasn't very social on the boat. They kind of had two acts on the boat. So West and Kate were there the entire time. They couldn't have been nicer. They came up and talked to everybody individually. West, gosh, I love that guy. You know, she loves herself a younger man these days. He was so sweet, though. He was like, so you live here, right? What neighborhood are you in? Just like asking personal questions. Even Kyle was the same way. And he was like. And they remembered everybody, too. Like I was walking by and he was like, Courtney. And we had it's not like I said, oh, according to judgy girls, like he remembered. And he was like that with every single person. And then even as he left, they were going to the game. Like, we didn't dock to 115, 130. The game's at 330. It is very far. Santa Clara is very far from San Francisco. And he took his time to go around the boat, say goodbye to every single person, hug them. I just feel like, wow. Manners go a long way, guys. You love a guy with manners. It's like hot. Yeah, I agree. He couldn't have been nicer. Yeah, so Wes and Kate, like you said, were there for the whole time. And then Dorinda came on. Dorinda was wearing this really cute tube romper, like shorts romper with sequins. And then she had like a black trench coat on top of it that she was wearing with like tights. But the top kind of kept slipping and her nipple covers would show. So at one point, she just took them off and tossed them. She signed one. One of them ended up like accidentally falling into the bay. The other one, she took off, signed it, and everyone was throwing these chicken cutlet boobs around the boat. It was hilarious and disgusting and memorable. It was a moment, if you will. Yes. And she was dancing up in the aisles, dancing with everyone. I think that they were having a really fun time. So then it was Dorinda versus Kate for a game. They were doing kind of like a toss it through the hole, the footballs. balls. And so that was our first segment where you probably could see us because I was holding the balls. Right. I'm a ball handler. You were you were great at the job. And I was like, I will take this as seriously as I need to. Anything to be in the shot. Anything to make the shot. Get it from my good side. But they but they were House of Villains, traitors. That was like the theme of it. I thought that Wes did a really great job when we went to. So then we went. The boat was taking us everywhere around. We went to McCovey Cove. I can't remember what the announcer's name was from NBC. And then it was Aaron Donald and Cam Hayward that were talking about the quarterbacks and like talking about the game, giving us two minutes of football, which we're here. No, thank you. We're here for the sail gate. But West was like throwing it to them. And then because tell them what you can do at the games for Giant Stadium. McCovey Cove. So basically, Giant Stadium, if someone gets a home run, it could go into the water. So there is kayakers outside of the cove trying to catch the balls. So then we got to throw balls and footballs into the water to these kayakers. It was cute. I thought it was fun. Yes. Super cute. Candace came on board with Johnny and Tom and she was just like a cute little bumblebee referee. She was so adorable, tiny. It was she was wearing these fantastic shoes. I think they were Stuart Whites then. And at the end, you go more towards the Golden Gate Bridge where the water is much rougher. That was tough. And so she is like holding on for her life. Like people are holding her because she's so tiny and she's wearing these great heels because, I mean, yeah, she can be on national television. I can understand when you look your best. Yeah. And that boat was legit at one point rocking where I was like, is this actually safe? Imagine not being on a ferry. Like ferries are way more stable. Otherwise, people would have gotten super seasick. But, you guys, also the drinks were flowing. The waitresses were fantastic. I felt like it was a below-deck experience for us. It kept on asking, what do you want? What do you want? They had Bloody Marys, mimosas. Every drink. There were people drinking Diet Cokes and vodka at 9.45 a.m. I was like, oh, my God. But then also Candice was really fun, too. We did a conga line. Yes. So we started on the first floor. We all lined up. Candice led the conga line, but we're going up the stairs. It was a little rocky at that point, too. I didn't even know where the cameras were. And then my dad texted me. I saw you in a conga line. I've recorded it, so I have to I'm going to go back and I'll clip it and send it over to you. I mean, we were just having like the silliest times. And once again, Kyle did this amazing DJ set. So the last segment is us under the bridge and then we are sailing back. But the sailing back, like the production part was over, but he was just DJing and it was such a beautiful day on the bay. No wind. The sun was out. It was fantastic. It was gorgeous. You couldn't have asked for a better weather day, especially in San Francisco in February. And he, everyone was up jumping. He played Creed over this Notion song. It did not get the acknowledgement it needed to. So I literally had to walk over to him and say, I just want you to know that that Creed drop hit. And he just was like laughing. But it was so we were having the best time. And hey, for non-blondes. It was so fun. He did a great job. Honestly, would go to his DJ set. Yes. Yes. It was so good. I because I had to leave early from the night before so I could run across town, literally. Sure. So I didn't get to hear the whole thing. But I thought he was so fun. Everyone was just so friendly. too. Like you had all these different creators up there. Like I met so many new people I hadn't met before and it was such a blast and everyone was there to have fun. It is funny though, because at one point you're like, oh yeah, I am with creators because you look around and everyone's on their phone trying to like upload something or do something. And I was laughing like if they got a shot of us right now, they'd be like, is anybody having fun? Does anyone talk to each other on this boat? We are having fun. We want to just make sure you guys see how much fun we're having. Like it was such a blast. I feel so lucky that we got to be a part of that. It's very cool. I had the time of my life. Let's take a break and I want to hear what happened after. You know, it was one o'clock. I was just exhausted from Friday, Saturday. I had so much fun on the boat, but I was like, mama's got to go home. I had to get going home. I left Courtney and I have no idea what ended up happening. Where did you watch the Super Bowl? Who did you watch it with? Tell me about your night. Where did I go? Okay. Just kidding. I went back home for a minute. I was staying at my friend's house. I was like, I have to lay for 15 minutes. Sure. Like I had to, which I was worried about because I had had some drinks. That's always dangerous because you can easily fall into the bed and not want to get back going. Yeah. Well, and so that was a big fear of mine. That's how badly I needed 15 minutes of sleep though. So I went back. I slept. And I told my friend she was going to go walk her dog. I said, you wake me up as soon as you walk back in. You wake me up as soon as you walk back in. And I didn't even need her to wake me up. I was up. Okay, great. I did it. So then we went and we went to Harry's bar and we met up with a couple of people from the boat. So it was like Hannah Koch and Kay, Hannah, and then Donald from Bravo and Cameron from Bravo. A couple of people from Bravo. They were there with us too. And so we just had like a big table. All of our Sims. I love him. I love him. We watched the halftime show, which we'll talk about in a second. You know, I am a Pat Scurley. And I had said, what did I say before? You weren't hopeful for the game. You didn't think they were going to win. I said, I'm just happy to be there. Yes. So I didn't take it as hard this time. I will say we did leave in between the third and fourth quarter. It was just time to go. It was time to. Well, the first half was tough. It was tough. And like everyone was excited to watch Bad Bunny. So I can understand wanting to go. Well, also it started raining. Oh. Which is crazy because we had such a gorgeous day out on the water with literally, like, I was in a t-shirt at one point. I was like, I'm going to get some sun. Sure. Totally. And so we left because I was like, I'd rather just, like, watch the end. Because then I was thinking, oh, my God, all these people trying to get home after the game, too. Like, that's always where my mind goes, how long am I going to wait for a car? Didn't you guys walk? Or we walked there, but we drove home because it was raining. We didn't have anything to put over our house. It's about four blocks. Okay. No, it was like a tent, and it's uphill. It's literally. Okay, I ran across town the day before. Can you just let me? It's like four blocks, but okay, go ahead. It's raining. And then we watched the rest of the game. It was like an early night. Well, actually, then we started trying to find clips to play. And then, and I want to talk about this later too, or we could talk about now. But then Jill Zarin decided to get on the internet and mama had had a few drinks. So she was feeling on fire. But this mama, not that mama. That mama was already passed out on her couch already. I was asleep at night. Let's celebrate the amazing halftime show first because Bad Bunny did such a great job. I loved it. I felt like I was watching a musical. I felt like he was storytelling. So many people were asking questions, like especially who that little boy was. It was a younger version of himself. There was a picture of him wearing that same outfit. And so he's giving him his younger self the Grammy. Yes. He brings out Gaga. He brings out Ricky Martin. He has my girl Alex Earl. I wish she was wearing something different. Oh, okay. It was very beige. And she was wearing a black top and regular jeans, like blue jeans. And so she just stuck out a little bit more. Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Carol G, young Maiko. It was so fun. Felt like everyone was there having a blast. He had a really strong message of unity. And I love that. And I think especially when he brought out all of the flags from the Americas, I mean, he said, together we are, you know, it was the best time. And he looked freaking good. At the beginning, he says in Spanish, my name is Benito Antonio Martinez Casio, and I'm here today at Super Bowl 60. It's because I've never, ever stopped believing in myself. You should also believe in yourself. You're worth more than you think. Trust me. Like, what a power. I have goosebumps right now What a cool way to open it also that whole marriage thing that was real All the shops and names of like the storefronts those are all real Villas Tacos is in LA. Okay. And that was the owner. He starts going over all the countries and he includes the United States, Canada, ends with Puerto Rico. And then at the end, the message is the only thing stronger than hate is love. I thought it was powerful. I thought it was fun. I thought it got people dancing. It felt very like people were saying like was like Lin-Manuel Miranda involved in this. It feels like in the heights so much with like the scenery and just how it was. All of those plants were people in them, which I was thinking they were going to dance. I'm like, oh, I think that's just an easy way to move props on that because there were so many different angles that were going on. I kept thinking like this production value is insane. Like the camera work is basically a cameraman just like spinning. And as somebody who had just been on a boat and watched how the behind the scenes works, it's tough. OK. Jon Hamm enjoyed it. Like, where was Juan Hamon? He was vibing. Yes. He was having the best time. I mean, it felt electric. I had friends that were at the game and they were like, I'm crying. This is so amazing. I loved seeing Ricky Martin, who looks so fantastic still. I loved Gaga doing Die With A Smile. I thought she looked great, even though Jill said, couldn't recognize her with a face lift as if Jill's face looks like that. I think Jill Zarin, I would not be surprised if today she is fired from that E! show. I just think what she did is disgusting. Disgraceful. So bad. Taylor Armstrong also said, we unfollowed them. I DM Taylor. I never do this. You guys, like, you guys, you know. Okay, Courtney, start talking. Today, Bad Bunny has deleted his Instagram. Really? Like, all his posts are gone. He archived everything? But the account's still there? Yes. There's no post. He still has like 52 million followers. Also, this was the most watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time above Michael Jackson. Start talking about your threats. in common okay so i said i had had a few drinks and i said not today satan and what do i always say on this podcast like a normal person talk shit behind their backs i said well i'm breaking the rules today so taylor i saw because she only posted it as a story so you know people couldn't comment on it and i just said i am so embarrassed for you this is disgusting so bad like so gross And then Jill, I even caveated, I commented, I said, I don't even ever, I never comment on people when I want to talk badly about them. But you're embarrassing. You had to stand up for what is right. Well, it just also was like, it didn't make any sense what she was saying. It was completely racist. What she was saying was disgusting. Yes. And I was like, I don't care. I had the best time watching that. I'm so sorry that it offended you because you don't speak Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. I had a great time. I was dancing my ass off. It was a blast. I felt like I watched a musical, like I said. Yes. It was like a movie. Yes. It was cinematic. Yes. It was beautiful. It told a story. It had a beginning, middle, and end. Yes. And it was great. And I also loved, too, when Gaga was up there, there's this shot of somebody taking kind of like a BTS video. And Benito is down below because he's going to go up and dance with her after. But he's just there dancing. Like, just enjoying the moment. Because at the end of the day, he's a Gaga fan. Yes. And so it was just it was so fun. So then I went on Instagram or on to threads. First off, I also was like, I have some fun because I said I was talking about the Sailgate and I said, can I just say like that Sailgate pre-party for the Super Bowl was one of the most events we have been to. And then I had to say most fun events we have been to. Wow, that fun creeped up on me. Whatever. It's Super Bowl. Today should be a national holiday. truly so then i started i well i won't go into the other things that i said but i i'll start with the jill so so there's this gif of jill from i want to say it's like season four that's the cindy bar shop season where she has this face of hers that's just like it's like a vial like yeah she just is like gross and she looks terrible and i know she hates the gif like she's tried to get it deleted from the internet it's like a double chin yeah i mean who hasn't had a double chin like it's just a bad angle of her and like yeah i wouldn't want that on the internet either but the internet is forever so i just said i'm posting this gift because i know jill hates it and people are commenting i'm let me help repost this like let me help make sure everybody can see this you know it's been shared a lot of times and then t kyle who is uh he's kind of like a behind the scenes guy he makes a lot of these gifts he's the one who made it and was like i can confirm that as soon as I had posted this GIF, like he made it, that Jill blocked me. I really do predict that that E-show won't happen without her. It's just too much. She crossed the line. And she deleted the Instagram. Like people haven't screen recorded it. It's like your daughter, you say in the Instagram, my daughter says I shouldn't put this up. Like I'm going to be canceled, but I've been canceled a few times. So whatever, ends up deleting it. I'm like, no, this is the final. Yeah, I just wrote, LOL. Jill Zarin deleted her IG video criticizing the halftime show because she realized the majority disagreed with her and recognized she's a racist asshole. L-O-F-ing L. Yeah, it's just like so embarrassing. It's really bad. And gross and disgusting. The problem is with this show, get rid of her. She was on for three seasons. Who even cares about Jill Zarin? Like, we don't need her. No. We don't need her. Don't be fine. She's unmemorable. I think she sealed her own fate. It was like they haven't even started filming yet. Like you could get it rescinded. And if she stays on, it's like people don't want to watch you. E's Instagram, because that post is the first pinned post on their Instagram, is being flooded with comments. Oh, no, she's. Hashtag Jill out. She's going to be out. I'm sorry. It's just she's getting what she deserves, if you ask me. Let's talk about other things about the Super Bowl. Because, you know, my girl Alex, I had said on the Patreon, I was wondering about her and Tom this weekend. apparently that's happening guys they hung out again there's some music dancing videos of them it's just a weird one for me i want better for my girl i love alex but here's what's funny is i can also see it being such a pr thing at this point too it's like oh let's like get you guys in the corners like talking to each other i don't know it feels like does tom need that kind of pr I think he's lonely. Okay. Got it. Got it. I mean, I think for him, yeah, a 25-year-old hot blonde girl that's like the moment right now, I think that does wonders for him. You've said it doesn't really help her. I just, how much of these things are PR? Well, what do you think about Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton? I hope that's real. Okay. I'm excited about that. It was a hard launch. But was it a hard launch or is it rumors? And they're saying, like, I didn't see any canoodling. Yeah, I didn't see any canoodling. But I also wasn't there. Sure, sure. And in the suite was Kendall, which how crazy is you're watching someone you dated do the halftime show? I mean, it's just seriously insane. Yeah. Who else? Oh, Sierra and Wes sat together at the game. People are swirling about this. I know nothing. Yeah, people were like, did you guys get to ask questions? I'm like, I wanted to tell you guys, the music on this boat was so loud that you couldn't think. Like, the reason my voice is like this is because we were screaming trying to talk to each other. At one point, I want to be like, can someone ask? Because I don't want to be the one that asks because that's embarrassing. And it's like the old lady on the street. But like, it was so loud and you couldn't escape it because you went to the lower level and their speakers were in there loud as hell, too. So it was like we weren't even getting dirt from anyone. You know, we were just chit-chatting. It wasn't the place to ask them, oh, on Traders This or for House of Villains. Like we asked about Tom Sandowell. Oh, we did. Like Kate was just like, oh, man. Johnny hates him. Right. They're just like, that man's a piece of work. Yeah. Just like little tidbits like that. Like we told Candace, like Dancing with the Stars is next. Like we want that for you so badly. I mean, she couldn't have been lovely. And you don't want to try to get salacious info. You want to just like have a good time with people. It was very mellow. It was like everyone was at the same party. It wasn't mellow because it was a party. But I guess the vibes were just like, let's all have fun. Yeah, it was just chill. Then seeing him with Sierra, though, I was like, oh, my God, whatever they are, whatever it is, because people are convinced, really convinced one way or the other. Like 100% they're never dating or like, oh, wait, they're for sure together and keeping it a secret from everyone. What do you think? I don't think they're together. They all went to the Super Bowl. They're on the same show together. I think they had seats next to each other. I mean, there were like influencers everywhere here. Dolores was here. Tamar was here. Gia. Those were like the Bravo people that stuck out to me. I mean, yeah, it's Super Bowl. Every single celebrity. Kevin Costner. I mean. Kevin Costner. Kevin Costner. Guys, Kevin was here. Kevin was here and not Aspen. Oh, my God. And Super Bowl is just like fun. Yeah. There's things to look forward to, I feel like, with the Super Bowl. And for me, that's the halftime show. We had just such a fun weekend overall. And like, yeah, do we sound terrible today? Sure. It was all worth it. And then next year, it's going to be in L.A. I know. I was thinking about that. I'm like, I hope it's on NBC again. Yeah. Oh, good question. I hope. I don't think it is. No. I feel like they switch around. The Olympics are also happening right now. Have you been watching any of the Olympics? I saw that Lindsay Vaughn really bad airlifted. People think she broke her leg and like ripped her ACL even worse. But separate legs. Oh, God. I didn't even know that. But Michael was watching. Honestly, after the Super Bowl, I just fell asleep on the couch at nine. I was just very tired. But I want to get into that. I got Charlie some outfits. Well, actually, Michael's aunt did. So we have some USA stuff to wear. Michael's very into the Winter Olympics. I love the Winter Olympics. Turn that on after this. Oh my God, I would love to do that. Ilya Malinan, so he's this figure skater for USA and he's called the quad god. Okay. Do you choose Ilya Rosanoff or like Ilya Malinan? You know, do you see the predicament that people are in now? They did the short program and everyone thought that Ilya was going to take it. And he had a little stumble and he lost by 10 points in that round. But then he was doing the long skate for Team USA. It's like a whole thing. And Tara and Johnny are commentating on it. which actually I think this is a great way to go into the traders. Let's take a break. I actually have a prediction because the entire time they kind of keep on saying Johnny and Tara, their alliance. And I feel like those two are going to go to the end. And I feel like it's because Tara literally has no idea what's going on. You know, she's the MJ. She's the Dolores. I think a lot of them don't have an idea of what's going on. Eric, no idea. Eric's saying, I recognize this writing. It's Johnny. I was like the man with the magic ears and eyes. People were calling him Helen Keller online. I love him. I'm obsessed with him. He's so funny. He's a breakout star to me. I love these type of shows because you've said before, right? Like then you get these random people that you've, or for you, that you've never met and you fall in love with them in this show because it's like you're introduced to a new personality and then you're watching them interact with the people you do know. So, like, I love watching Boston Rob now. Like, he was at the Super Bowl this weekend. There was a clip of him talking to Dave Portnoy. And Dave's like, I think I'd do well on Survivor. And I think I'd do well on the Traders. And Rob was like, yeah, I could definitely see more on the Traders. And if he was on Survivor, I'd vote him out first. Also, Dave Portnoy was here trying a lot of pizza places. I wouldn't have sent him to, like, any of the places that he went. It's not even the kind of pizza that he likes. What is that, plain cheese? Well, he likes a New York style, like the undercarriage, you know, no flop. What's an undercarriage for pizza? So he likes it. So, you know, if like your pizza, you don't want it to flop down. He likes it like. He likes a little crisp? Yes. Okay. So that he can fold it? He doesn't even fold it. Okay. He has a certain style of pizza he likes. So he went to Square Pie Guys, which is absolutely delicious. But it's Detroit style pizza. So it's like, that's not your pizza of choice. So you're going to score it badly. Yeah. He's like 7'9". I've never given a Detroit style pizza an 8". I'm like, well, why don't you? Because what's your scale? Yeah. Like, how are you comparing it? Exactly. Geez. And he didn't even go to literally like the best pizza place here. Which is? Which, well, Tony's is like a top ranked one where he went to. I mean, it's literally number five in the world. This Tony Pizza It delicious Wow I been to the number 41 in the world Right That Emily Benson went to I mean Emily Simpson Shout out Emily Benson That my friend from high school that listens I mix up my Emily. I caught my mistake. But he went to Deliboard, which is delicious. And Deliboard is where West also went for the sandwich? No, he went to Boy's Deli, which is Polk Street. I can't keep it. He had the freak sandwich. Yeah. I love my city getting notoriety. Okay. But Boston Rob, you love him, what you were going to say. I've been watching the Traders podcast too after. And I watched this week's especially because Candace was on it. Okay. And so it's Bob the Drag Queen and Rob doing it. Yes. And it's so funny because they're talking about fashion. They're like, Rob's like, you know, there's another guy now on this show who's wearing a backwards cap as fashion, which is Rob Rauch, Rob for Rob. They're just fun together. They play off of each other really well. And I just think Boston Rob is really doing something right. In what way? Just in his career. Sure. Like I think his friendship with Dylan really took him, I think them making him a traitor so that he was part of that season because he's such a big get from the survivor community. And I just think he's really like parlayed and turned this into more of a hosting career and having all these different opportunities. Yes, I agree with that. I think it's also very interesting how much Candace promoted the show, but the other Rob does not seem to be doing any promotions. And so I just like start to think about that. Is it because they don't want him to give things away? But I will say that DoorDash ad that he had for the Super Bowl, I watched it 10 times. He's very good looking. He's so cute. He is so cute. And he's Obviously very charismatic. He has all of these people snake charmed in the castle. Like they are all, except for Candace. But he has been such a great, quote unquote, faithful. Yeah. He really has. It's like he helps in the missions. I think he talks to everyone. They said that he would play chess with everybody every day. Like that's how he got to know people was these one-on-one connections of like playing chess. He is playing a really strong game. So I wanted to ask you, what did you think about the turrets? So they basically have to decide, are they going to murder or recruit? And they both decide to murder. What did I say last week, too? If Rob was smart, he'd give Candace the control and let her choose who to murder. And he does. And it's basically she's thinking, well, either Colton, Stephen or Natalie. And he's like, well, it's up to you because he knows that Colton has already started saying her name. And she even says Colton and he says, no, I don't want to murder him because I have, you know, an alliance. Well, that's his best friend in the house. Totally. But he knows that she's going to do it probably to spite him because he says not to. Well, she wants she says she wants to break up their alliance. Exactly. And she didn't know that her name was already spread by him. So it was the perfect situation for Rob. I don't actually think on her end, though, that it was that bad to do Colton. I was so surprised when we got to breakfast and he didn't come through the door. Like, I was actually shocked that Colton was murdered. And it was like, poor Candace, because obviously, as we know, she gets banished this episode. But thank God she took him out before so we don't have to see him anymore. It was a great day for us. Yeah, like, hallelujah, Colton is gone. I was so stoked about that. I actually don't think it's that crazy. What I actually thought was crazy was that she didn't ask him who has the dagger. Maybe she did, though. I just was thinking, okay, it's become Rob versus Candace. He gave her the power. It was a smart move on his part because Candace, and she said this on the after show or on the podcast, she was saying, we made a pact. We were traitors. We made a pact. We weren't going to go after each other. Whereas Rob was like, I'm playing this game as a faithful traitor. And the traitors do need to stick together somewhat. She needs to go into that turret and be like, tell me why. how do we build our trust okay you're gonna let me do this i think if she got the info on the dagger and he gave that to her i think they could have done stuff like i feel like he started becoming more retaliatory towards her with her starting the more of the rumors with rob everyone else was saying candace rob didn't necessarily say that until everyone was saying it i think he knew i can probably get candace out tonight and then i'll have to recruit someone so he needed to just do a really powerful move. Yeah. Yeah, because the trust was gone. Yeah. And even if they, quote unquote, regained each other's trust, you wouldn't actually fully. They would turn at some point. Maybe it saves a week or two. So it didn't matter. I'm just fast forwarding to the banishment. But what did you think about her going after Rob again? Because I thought this was her bad move, was trying to take him out here, as opposed to Stephen. She had people on her side. The Stephen thing, like Dorinda's evidence, was very credible. Yeah. Like, why did you give Lisa the gold? That really stood out to me. Why did Lisa give him the gold? Yes. Sorry. But yeah. But I was like, yeah, that's a really, that's actual evidence. Also, the challenge, I love when they have to do stupid challenges. Yes. This was funny. I don't want to see them running up the hill. I don't want to see sportsmanship. I want to see, you know, mazes. I want to see them getting confused, recreating photos, singing. Yeah. Stupid stuff. Yeah. I want to see stupid stuff that makes me giggle. We want to see them make a fool of themselves, but laugh with them. I also think that Rob really trying to go for the shield is super smart right now because I think at this point he needs to play like I'm really afraid. If they're coming for Colton, I'm next. Exactly. But I just wanted to talk about the challenge. Kristen got the shield. Yes. And then I thought it was super interesting after the challenge. like Candace and Stephen are talking. And then like Rob goes and interrupts them. Well, Dorinda comes in and they shoo Dorinda away, Stephen and Candace. And those are the two that are the most guilty right now. Right, right. Candace like talking to Rob and kind of figuring out like, so when did you know this, that my name was being floated? Like, was that yesterday? And Rob just like the smile and him eating. I was watching the left side of his face. He just kept smirking with the left side of his face. Like, is that the Rob tell when he's lying? Yes. Yes. And he's like, it's a game. What do you want me to do? It was almost like he was breaking character. Like, I feel like he was like wanting to say, Candace, this is a game. I'm just trying to win it. He did say that. But yeah, I was going to ask what you thought because she said, look, if I'm going down tonight, I'm going to be saying your name. I was curious if production talked to her about that. Like, you can't actually say his name. Even the way that she looked at him when she was about to say traitors, but it was the way they cut it. Sure. I mean, yeah, you could easily throw someone under the bus. And I feel like she did to the best. Like, I feel like he definitely has something on his back right now because of her. I don't think so at all. Really? I don't think so at all. I think he's done such a good job. I was kind of with him, though, when he was like, I feel like it's bad sportsmanship if you're going to take me out. Like, if you want to build a case against me and have people vote for me. Her case was, you were flustered at breakfast. You dropped your fork. Yeah. what well that's why i was like i wish you could have just gone with your crew because it really is like candace leading one side rob leading the other and if they could just get steven out she could have bought herself more time to start making him look more guilty why isn't anybody thinking about rob you know there wasn't enough evidence at that point she does say for me colton was being used as rob's beard which yeah that's so layered yeah i thought she had a good defense of herself or the wrong move was to go after Rob because that's what a lot of people were saying too. You said it was a throwaway vote. Last week, she shouldn't have said it was a throwaway vote. She should have just said, I'm going for Rob. I don't know. There's been something sneaky, whatever, because now this week it's like, so you had a throwaway vote because you didn't want to vote Natalie or Lisa. And then this week, now you're so convinced he's a traitor. One of those stories doesn't equate. Right. Unfortunately, it was her time. I think she could have gotten Johnny to get Steven. I think she could have gotten Tara. Like Tara got pissed because she's Like, why are you throwing my name? And she started kind of throwing her allies under the bus there. And it wasn't going to work. And I was a bummer because I really liked Candace. And I think that both her and Rob played strong games. What did you think about his pick? So it was between Mark, Eric, or Johnny. He had to pick a guy because they were saying there has to be male energy in that turret. Yeah. So he couldn't pick another girl because it would put more of a target on his back, like you were saying. I can't believe they weren't saying, like, they wouldn't pick two housewives. They wouldn't pick two housewives. Like, that would be definitely what I would be thinking. What do you mean? They wouldn't have picked two housewives to be traitors. Oh, so you're saying like there could just have been all women or whatever? That they picked Lisa Renda and Candace? I'm surprised they figured that out. Yeah. I mean, that's the thing because they were like, oh, Colton kept saying Candace. Colton said all of your names, you guys. And now the edit we're seeing this, that Colton is this big mastermind. It's like he was throwing anything to the wall to see what would stick. Like, actually, Rob probably was really kind of guiding him in a way of being like, oh, that's an interesting concept. Let's keep moving on that one. You know, let's do that. I thought the Eric pick was genius, though. I think it's going to work out for him. Johnny talks too much. I think that wouldn't be the right move. I think his personality would change, too. Agreed. You mentioned with his alliance with Tara, him having to lie to Tara would be really tough for him. And I think she would be able to pick up on the signs, even though she says she's terrible at the game, she'd be able to pick up signs that he's acting differently. it would be interesting if they go all the way together somehow yeah i would love that i mean mark would have been a great choice too i think eric is perfect eric is so because he's so funny too like robbie like he's the smartest man and they're like it's johnny's writing but then him being like i could never be a traitor like i will start this game as a faithful or i'll end this game as a faithful unless i have to be a traitor he he feels very theatrical and you can kind of see him going both ways people aren't going to catch his scent because i think he's kind of zany and and they don't know him and dramatic like he doesn't have any connection to the cast like if you pulled in a housewife or like if you pulled in britney from big brother that has a good connection with danielle when she was on you know so it's like he was a great choice for it his shocked face when rob pulled down i was like they literally have no idea rob is a traitor like kristen being like it could never be Rob. Yeah. It's wild how well of a game he is playing. Like him being like, why would she say me? That's so crazy. And then being like, that was just rude. That was so rude, Rob. I'm so glad you're okay. They are so charmed by him and his arms. Me too. I mean, me too. Put on a couple pairs of overalls and I'll... Yeah. It's like he has the worst fashion every time. I'm like, God, he looks great. I don't even look at it. I just see his face. Like I saw the back there. Someone showed the back of the corset that he wore to the banquet last year or last episode. And I was like, I didn't even know this was like a ribboned up corset tied on his back. That man literally could wear anything he wants. I didn't realize he was wearing a corset until I looked on the Internet. Like, I don't see his fashion. His eyes are up here and you're looking. Yes. Okay, so Eric obviously is going to accept. Why would he end his game? Of course. There's no ultimatum there. Right. Right. So do you think someone's getting murdered that night? And if so, who do you think they're choosing? They got to get out probably like Natalie or like Kristen. They got to get out the Smarties. Yeah, I think you're right. I think they have to get out a female because I think if they need as many males, if people are catching on to the male energy. Let me ask you this. Let's say Rob and Eric are aligned as a team. Do they go to the end together? Rob is going to go all for himself. He's playing the game. It's a game. It's sportsmanship. Yeah. We're just trying to win. So Rob will turn on Eric at some point. A thousand percent. He's just using him right now. The thing is, though, he has to take him to the end, right? And then turn on him when they do the bags. Yes. I feel like America will be okay with this, too. Rob has gotten away with so much. Pretty privilege. Right? She's like getting fast. She's getting, her face is turning bright red. Seeing her blush like this of these men in person is a good vibe, you guys. Okay, on that note, I think we need to like watch the Super Bowl halftime show again. I want to watch us on TV. We got a lot to do today. Guys, we got to go. We'll be back tomorrow. Bye. Bye. Hey. Hey.
