Hey everybody, welcome to the Indie Sound with Jimmy Starr. We got a new episode for you today, two great hip-hop R&B bands, not really bands, artists. The first one is called Get Fresh, the name of the song we're going to do is called She Be Like. So I have a great history with this artist. They started out as a boy band called Alias and then they became something else and then they became Get Fresh. Let me see, let's see if we can figure out who did Alias become. Get Fresh used to be called, let's Google it and ask. Let's see, Get Fresh band, other names. So I used to have a clothing empire in Pompano Beach and when we did our grand opening they actually came and performed. It was a great, great thing. So first they were known as Alias. There was four guys, then they became deep side and they had a bunch of hits and the step up soundtrack, they had a big hit song and they did songs with Art Kelly, a whole bunch of great people. And then one of the members I believe stayed on for a while while they were Get Fresh and then they became a three people group. But anyway, these guys are probably my favorite boy band of all time. They aren't as successful as the Backstreet Boys and stuff like that but they're way more like R&B, they're very, very cool and I think you guys will dig it. So check it out. So, let's go.
