You need this intel to live in today's world. For years, the phrase the Magnificent Seven was a popular term for the seven most powerful tech companies. They were Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla. And now the seven are the Fab four. Here's what happened. I'm Kim Commando with Improve Life. I created GLP1 support to manage cravings, support metabolism, and keep blood sugar on track. Find out more@provelife.com Kim Apple tripped big time with its massive AI failure. Apple should have led the way, but they don't really have any AI. And whatever it will have is primarily coming from Google. Apple's still huge, but no longer driving the market. Meta, formerly Facebook, catastrophically put too many eggs in the Metaverse basket. After throwing more than $70 billion down the Metaverse rabbit hole, Meta is no longer a leader. And finally, Tesla. What can I say, Tesla Car inventories piled up on lots everywhere and EV demand is evaporating. Get my free newsletter@getkim.com and now, as.

Meghan Markle's brand, as ever.

4:04

Speaker A

Have you seen her website?

4:06

Speaker D

I mean, I've seen stories about it.

4:07

Speaker B

Yeah, she sells lifestyle stuff.

4:09

Speaker D

Doesn't she sell like a jelly that nobody wants?

4:12

Speaker B

Yes, but she promotes it as. This is her quote. Small batch spreads, honey and pantry favorites.

4:15

Speaker D

Okay, okay.

4:22

Speaker B

Her name, her company's. As ever. It should be like as if. Okay, you write, the stuff is super expensive. Two jars of honey, $62.

4:23

Speaker D

Whoa.

4:31

Speaker B

A candle, $48. Three small jars of jam, $32.

4:32

Speaker D

So she's kind of like copying Gwyneth Paltrow and goop. Exactly, except for minus the success that Gwyneth Paltrow has had.

4:38

Speaker B

But how does one define small? How would you define small? What is your definition of small?

4:46

Speaker D

If you were to say, like a small batch of wine. What's that? Maybe 100 bottles? Because mass produced is going to be thousands.

4:51

Speaker B

Yeah, I would say small would be that because you make it mix it like it's happening. Really? In her kitchen.

4:59

Speaker D

Right.

5:05

Speaker B

Well, hackers got into her shopping website and they exposed the real inventory numbers for her small batches.

5:06

Speaker D

Okay.

5:15

Speaker A

Jam.

5:16

Speaker B

220,000 jars.

5:17

Speaker D

Now hold on give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe her small is compared to, let's say the population of China. That is very small compared to all the Chinese people.

5:20

Speaker B

Since you mentioned wine. 77,000 bottles.

5:32

Speaker D

That's like mass produced tea.

5:36

Speaker B

110,000 jars. Candles. 90,000 candles.

5:39

Speaker D

Where is she getting all this inventory? She must have like some Amish like slave force that's just making jam non stop every single day.

5:45

Speaker A

Okay.

5:54

Speaker B

I would never want to be holding this inventory. Edible flower sprinkles. Because you know, we got to use that all the time.

5:54

Speaker D

Sure, sure.

6:00

Speaker B

Every. I put on every meal.

6:01

Speaker D

I don't even know what it is.

6:02

Speaker B

Edible flowers.

6:04

Speaker D

Just flowers. Like in a salt shaker.

6:05

Speaker B

Yes.

6:07

Speaker D

That you sprinkle on your food.

6:07

Speaker A

Yes.

6:08

Speaker B

Okay. 80,000 jars.

6:09

Speaker D

Okay.

6:12

Speaker B

If it all sells, that's $21 million.

6:13

Speaker D

80,000 jars you said?

6:16

Speaker B

Yes.

6:18

Speaker D

That's a lot.

6:18

Speaker B

Flowers.

6:19

Speaker D

So she's got $21 million retail of inventory sitting somewhere.

6:20

Speaker B

But small batch.

6:24

Speaker D

Yeah, sure, sure. Probably in a very small warehouse.

6:25

Speaker B

Yes, yes.

6:28

Speaker D

That's large.

6:29

Speaker B

This is small batch. The way that Walmart is a family business. Exactly.

6:30

Speaker A

Just saying.

6:35

Speaker B

All right, so last year we worked with AI. Things are going to be different this year. Just a little heads up, we're moving away from chatbots that answer questions to AI agents that will take action. So maybe you will have an agent AI that will negotiate your cable bill or file your taxes in case you want to check it out. Now in like Google Gemini, you can tap your profile, go to extensions, connect your Gmail, and then say, check all my email for flight confirmations and add them to my calendar. You can say, find all the documents in my Google Drive that references this particular vendor name or something like that. Now one warning is that it's going to ask you if you ever want.

6:36

Speaker A

To connect your credit card.

7:17

Speaker B

That is a big fat no. We're just not at that point quite yet.
