.com. Coming up at 10 o'clock, it's uncancelled on KCMO talk radio right after Pete Mundo and Mundo in the morning. 6 15. Good morning. Happy Wednesday. It is that time of the morning on KCMO talk radio. It's time for the six at six on KCMO talk radio. Number one, the president of the United States will give a speech tonight to address the nation after saying potentially the U.S. could leave the war in Iran within weeks. That is part of what was announced yesterday by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, calling it an important update without providing further details. So we will carry that tonight. 8 o'clock here on KCMO talk radio. We'll be back tonight. We'll be back with a look at KCMO talk radio. It will be the first presidential address for Donald Trump since the war began 33 days ago. So President Trump tonight, 8 p.m. addressing the nation here on KCMO talk radio. Number two, next up, Tiger Woods saying last night that he's stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on his health. Announcing the decision four days after he was arrested and refused to submit a lawful test stemming from a rollover crash in Florida. Tiger Woods saying in a statement, I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I'm stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work towards lasting recovery. He says here I'm committed to taking the time needed to return to a healthier, stronger and more focused place both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time. So this comes after Tiger Woods, of course, was arrested for that DUI. It was believed that he had some pain pills of some sort on him when he was arrested last week. And thank goodness, once again, that Tiger Woods was not worse and it could have been much worse. So good for Tiger. He's doing the right thing and he needs to get some help. Number three. Alright next up in our six at six here on KCMO Talk Radio. Let's go up to the bathrooms at KCI. A man accused of secretly recording women inside the all-gender restroom at the airport is requesting a lower bond. Court filings show Terri Oseed Ludwig requested a reduction of his $25,000 cash bond saying it's too high given the charge and his financial situation. I mean, no one gives a s***. What are we doing here? Sorry, you can't post bond, you creep. A court filing says Ludwig's attorney claims the current bond is greatly beyond his ability to pay. The filing also argues Ludwig is not a danger to the community or a flight risk noting he has ties to the Kansas City area and a place to live if release. Stop. I'm not convinced he's not a danger. Tell that to the alleged 66 women he was filming in the restroom saying he's not a danger. Gee, I wonder if a guy who works at the airport could leave town. Yeah. If only there were a way. Yeah. He was charged earlier this month of course with invasion of privacy. He's accused of secretly recording more than 60 women inside an all gender restroom at the airport between January and March of this year. Yesterday's bond hearing in Platt County will move ahead continued until April 14th. Number four. All right. Let's go to Ray Town where a mother files a wrongful death lawsuit against Ray Town police in her son's death. Cecilia Wilson, the mother of Kenneth Williams, a man shot and killed by Ray Town police outside of a quick trip on 63rd Street in late 2024 says the officer unjustly used deadly force against Williams at the time of the incident and she's now filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the officer. The Ray Town police department says that officers were dispatched to the quick trip near E 63rd and Blue Ridge Cutoff just after midnight on November 9th of 2024 on reports of an altercation. Police said the fight started between a security officer and Williams after Williams told the officer he had a bomb in the car and was asked to leave the gas station. Williams left for a short period of time. He came back. He was sprayed with mace by a security officer. He fled on foot. He returned to his car when he was then approached by numerous officers including police officer Dallas Burnett who fired several shots at Williams as he attempted to get back into his car. The lawsuit notes that a medical examiner's report revealed that Williams was shot up to seven times by the cop. The lawsuit also claims that Williams posed no threat to the officer at the time of the shooting and that the use of deadly force was unnecessary and unjustified. Ray Town police department saying in a statement we are aware of the litigation and are unable to provide any additional support or information at this time. That's the statement from Ray Town PD. Number four. Alright, the Missouri filing deadline came to an end yesterday and what did we learn? Well, there's a lot of movement and that movement includes Erick Saan, the Platt County prosecutor after 24 years hanging up his cleats. He is not going to continue as the prosecutor in Platt County. He is expected to hand it off to his assistant Mark Gibson. So that came at the final minute and Phil Levota, the other big name at the end of filing yesterday announced that he is going to run for Jackson County executive. He's currently the interim county executive but he's going to go ahead and try to be the permanent county executive. He will be running this year of course in a Democratic primary and I hit four last time. I should have hit five because now we are on number six. Number six. Finally, the host of the show could count before seven o'clock in the morning. Finally, on the six at six after a day off yesterday, the Royals are back at it today after a win on opening day at home on Monday and they are taking on the twins. Game two of this series, 640 tonight and that game is going to be started by Noah Cameron getting his first start of the year after going nine and seven last year with an A2.99 in his first season in the big leagues. I see the Royals are an underdog tonight on a fan duel, Mark. Are you surprised by that? Might have to go money line Royals tonight. I was wondering that. I mean Noah Cameron had a good year took care of the twins on Monday night and they're back tonight at 640. Twins are one and three on the season so far. Royals sitting there at two and two which is first place. Let's go baby. Let's go. I love it. Woo. Alright, there's your six at six. Action. Next roll with Vernon Davis. I'm your host, Vernon Davis. Okay, y'all, thank you. Thank you. That's enough. Today we have Dietrich Wise. Through my example on the field, off the field during game day in practice. That was one way that I led because they didn't lead to success. Next roll isn't about what's next. It's about why they do it. My man, Bobby Bones. Like I've had a lot of stuff happen, bad and good and so I don't have any fear of mixing it up. That's powerful man. Next roll with Vernon Davis. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. Hi, I'm Joe Salci. I host of the stacking Benjamin's podcast. Most economists agree small amount of inflation is actually good. Two percent is what you're going for. Why is everybody freaking out? Oh, because it's the fallout. People don't track their budget. You have this slow slipping that happens every month. To all of a sudden you go, man, I don't have any money. The reason is now two people go to a restaurant. The bill is 60 bucks for two. Two guys walking to a restaurant. They start screaming. It's hilarious. $60. Stacking Benjamin's.
