Hi, I'm Anna. And I love that you decided to click on a podcast called Anna's Group Chat. My goal here is to create an inclusive, safe community for people. And hopefully we can achieve that. So yes, my name is Anna Zabo. I work in radio broadcasting. I'm a co-host on the Kid Craddock Morning Show. I have been for seven years now. Wow. Which is crazy. I've been I've been with the show. I was working behind the scenes before I was on air. So I've been with the show for 10 years, but I've been on air for seven or I'm going on my seventh year, which is absolutely crazy. And being working in radio and in broadcasting, I have found such a love for a community. I think for building a community, there's such a beautiful audience that is so loyal to the Kid Crotic Morning Show. And then I have another podcast called 13, a Taylor Swift fan podcast, which also has a very loyal community. And you and I used to do a podcast together years and years ago. Rest in peace. On Cloud Wine. But we're kind of back. You know, we're kind of back. And we still have winos who reach out and be like, are y'all ever gonna? Yeah. But guess what? This is for you, winos. I know. And I'm really, I am curious to know, like, if you listened to Alicia and I's podcast from years and years ago, I'm curious if there's like two people that know it or like 10 and no more than 20 that's for sure if you know it just like forget it you know just like don't look it up it's like looking back at high school photos of yourself and you're like that's so cute I would never post that today yeah yeah so yeah but that was fun but I mean you you were working in radio before we started that podcast I was yeah yeah so uh I actually did like radio and tv in college and then I went um and I was on air at kiss fm in charlotte um for about like a year ish and then i got recruited by kid cratic morning show and i'm from the dallas like dfw area and so i was like no i know that show you know like that's an iconic show i will happily come be your coffee girl if you want me to be and so yeah so i worked at uh for the kid cratic morning show for four years which is crazy yeah And then while working with Kid Crotic, Kiss FM recruited me. So then I was on air for Kiss FM here in Dallas. And then after that, I it was like that COVID time. Yeah. I was just like lost and trying to find myself. And I just realized I needed a new chapter. So I became a teacher and then I worked for a nonprofit. But it was cool because you were teaching broadcasting like specifically. Yeah. And let me tell you, like, I know there's a lot on TikTok about like teacher talk and it's kind of negative. However, I will say I loved teaching. I would teach again right now. My kids are amazing. I still keep up with them. I still get lunch with them when they're in college. That's so sweet. I've had students give my – I have a 13-month-old, which is crazy to say. But I've had students give my son presents. Really? Yes. And the parents buy my child a present. So, yeah, I love teaching broadcast journalism. I was also a coach. But yeah, I mean, we did that podcast. And then I took a few years and my life kind of changed a little. But now we're back and better than ever. I know. I know. And I mean, the beautiful thing is that when we worked together, we also we were friends. You have like your people that you work with that you're co-workers. But then you have your people at work that are your actual friends. Right. And we just had so many of the same interests. We're in the same age range. And I feel like we just kind of hit it off immediately. And we just kind of were like, okay, yeah, let's do a podcast. And we always, when we stopped doing the podcast before, I felt like we never really closed that chapter. Like we both kind of kept it open-ended. We joked about it being like, when are we ever going to do this again? We definitely ghosted our listeners. We 100%, I'm so sorry. Listen, we know. I'm so sorry. If we ever talk about relationships and we say something like, oh my God, ghosting sucks. Tell us that we have done that. But I feel like we always kept it open ended just between you and I. Like we kind of always knew something that I love about our relationship is that I feel like we are. We know when we're talking to each other as friends and we know when we're talking to each other as like business partners. Yeah. You know what I mean? I feel like we both recognize that in each other. And that's why I'm really, really excited to do this again with you. Yeah. Because let me tell you a little bit about Anna's group chat specifically. so it was almost two years ago which is crazy to say but almost two years ago on the morning show i had an idea it actually originated by i was going to call it the girls room because i was thinking about the amanda the amanda show yes yes the amanda show is going to the girls room and so on the morning show we do anna's group chat it's the same cadence as the girls room and the original idea was I wanted to have just a little moment in time where I get to talk about interests of mine and also interests that my friends are having, like what we're watching, what we're listening to, things that are trending on social media, things that everybody's talking about with their friends, right? And so that was the original idea. And I started coming up with things that I wanted to talk about, but then I thought, no, I want to expand this to the people that listen because as a listener, you want them to talk about things that you're into. So I started posting on my Instagram story, ask a little question box and be like, whatever you're into this week, throw it in the group chat. And I kind of was like taking every single week, I was looking at these things that people were submitting, which was really great because a lot of the times people would submit the same thing. So there was multiple people submitting the same TV show or the same song or the same book, you know, because everybody's kind of in the same realm of things. and so then I was like I wish there was a way that I could get the people that are submitting into my Anna's group chat like question box I wish there was a way that I could have them talk to each other and I was trying to figure out if even if I start another Instagram page or even if I create a discord or something I was like how can I manage it and look in it but also let there be a community that exists every day of the week and not just on Wednesdays on the morning show so that's when I decided to create a Facebook group. It's just called Anna's group chat. It's just a Facebook group. It has my picture on the, on the front pink, of course. Great. Thank you so much. It was one headshot that I took a couple of years ago that I will keep using until my career ends. Anyway. And so I created the Facebook group and immediately I was overjoyed that the day that I announced it on the morning show during Anna's group chat, the bit, I said, Oh, we have a Facebook group. In the first 10 minutes, I had 800 people join. And to me, that just kind of said that people want to be a part of a community. People want to have other people to talk to. Life happens. You have your real life friends, of course, but life happens. You grow up, they get busy or they live in a different city or whatever it be. And so to me, I just thought there are people that just want a community to talk about their interests. I, of course, love talking about television and music and Taylor Swift. And for a lot of times, I feel like people look down on things that make you happy. Sometimes it's like, oh my God, why are you so obsessed with that? Or, oh my God, why do you keep talking about that? Whatever. I feel like, to quote Taylor Swift, she would say, the worst type of person is the one that makes you feel dumb or stupid for being excited about something. Yeah, you're yucking someone's yum. Exactly. And I really live by that. I think people should be excited. If there's a sports team that you follow and they won the championship, you should be excited. You know, if there's a movie coming out with your favorite actor, you should be excited. You know, if your favorite artist put out an album, celebrate it. If there's a movie coming out and you want to dress up for it, like the Barbie movie, do it. You know, it's just, I just, I love that type of enthusiasm. When I saw there were so many people wanting this community, I just immediately felt fulfilled and I knew that I wanted to keep this going. So that was about a year ago when I started the Facebook group And at this moment in time it now has almost 14 members Which proves people are hungry for a community Exactly. And so then I thought we can take this even further because I do have the ability and the opportunities that come up where I've been able to host movie nights and movie screenings. And I get to invite people from Anna's group chat on Facebook. And I just have been craving for more to expand it. And so then naturally, Anna's group chat, the podcast became an idea. And I had been trying to do it for a while. But the thing is, this is something that requires, of course, a co-host. You know what I mean? I for a while, I was like, I wonder if I could just do it by myself. But no, when you talk about your interests, you want to feed off of somebody. Yeah. And it was so serendipitous because I was thinking about it. And I thought, man, I wonder if Alicia would ever want to get back into podcasting and want to do this. And I kid you not, within 24 hours of me having that thought, you texted me and you were like, hey, this might sound crazy, but what if we do another podcast? Yeah, I was I was fresh in the if you've ever had a kid, then you know what I'm about to say. I was fresh in like the month three postpartum phase of my life, like first child postpartum. postpartum and I was so unbelievably lost. Like I just felt, and it sounds so like cliche or like whatever, but I just felt like I had no identity anymore besides take care of the child. And I was, you know, struggling with some like postpartum, like anxiety, depression. And it was actually like my husband who was like, you know, you used to talk so highly about your podcasting days or your radio days or he's like let's find you like a hobby like something that's for you that you can talk about being a mother but it's not just motherhood like it's a whole separate thing and that's when I texted you and I was like what if you know and that's when you were like do you want to get lunch tomorrow yeah I was like what okay it's like funny that you say that because I actually have an idea and that's where yeah and it was like it's like a business lunch but also like a friend lunch yeah like caught up for the first like you know well hour we can talk for an hour about nothing and then you're like okay let's get into the business into the nitty into the nitty-gritty and so you presented this opportunity and I said sure yeah absolutely it was here we are it was meant to be I think I think it really it fell into place in the way that it was supposed to when you had that thought and I had that same thought it was crazy to me when you I should have I guess I could go back and find it, but I almost took a screenshot to be like, no, this is a joke. There's no one like you, and there never will be. From the producer of Bohemian Rhapsody and the director of Training Day. And mother always told me you let your light shine. This April, you're the greatest of all time. There are many legends. But there was only one. Michael in IMAX and Cinemas Wednesday, April 22. I think it's really beautiful, just the stage of life that we're in. And I love to give you this outlet also. You know, like when you said that you were just itching for something that made you just feel like more like yourself. because that was something you'd pointed out too because I've known you for so many years. You said the other day to me, you said you knew me before I was a mom. And I thought that was really an interesting perspective. What's fun to look back and if you have friends for years and years and years, it's fun to look back and realize you've seen that person through so many chapters of their lives and everybody changes whether you really want or not. Life will force you to change. And my life has changed so drastically, but it's so like fresh and fun and like it's such an adventure of a lifetime right now for me yeah and you have seen me go through many ups and many downs um and so to be here together and then when you presented the podcast idea because at first I was like well like I am a mom it's very time consuming um I'm very blessed to be a stay-at-home mom but it is still a lot of work and like all these things you kept mentioning the word community and I was like you know what that sounds appetizing because also as you know a mom that none of my friends have kids right now and it's just like you can have the same friends I mean obviously we've stayed in touch I have other friends who don't have kids and they're very loving and very supportive but it's different and I was like I just want to sit down with a freaking group of moms to talk about how insane it is that I'm up at four in the morning with my child while my husband sleeps. I love him so much. Those little things. But also while we're talking, I'm like, I don't have to talk to a 13 month old. I can talk to a person. Yeah. And like, what are you watching? I can't watch the violin right now with my son. But when he goes to sleep, I can't. But tell me everything, everything, you know, like, like, I just live vicariously through like all the books. Because I would love to read. I do read. But no, you're busy. I mean, of course, hearing even you just speak about books. I'm like, oh my god yes tell me about like please um yes always always always always and so i was like this is a very interesting concept um because i've even also which some of y'all may not know this which you don't um i've snuck in to a few of these movie screenings on behalf of you not snuck in i put your name on the list but like i went to go check it out and see what this community is that you that this anna's group chat is building and it is so fun to see all these people who have never met stand in a line and start chatting about the movie and then they're like because i heard it the last time i went to go see um the bride yeah and there is some women in front of me and they didn't look like they knew each other but then they're like here for the bride you know small talk and then she was like did you hear about it on anna's group chat Oh, no way. I was like, I'm like standing behind them, like eavesdropping. Wait, that's so sweet. But I'm like, that's so fun. And so like for me, when you pitch this idea, long story short, I was like, I get a project selfishly, I could definitely use. And then I get to help build a community. Hopefully, fingers crossed. That's the whole point of this. To bring people together. Yeah. To have someone to talk to about a stupid little show that you need because it distracts you about your everyday life. Yeah. I'm saying so life is just humanity is so much better when you have a community yeah so that's what this whole podcast is supposed to be about and then us just chit chat in between yeah because I mean organically I think we're gonna of course talk about what's going on in our lives our personal lives I do want this to be an extension of the already existing Anna's group chat but I also see this as an opportunity for even me just to open up more than, than, than I have, you know, in, in, on the morning. So not that I haven't, but I mean, a podcast just lends itself for that, you know, just to get a little bit more raw, a little bit more personal and all that. And I guess for anybody that's listening right now that maybe this is your very first time ever hearing my voice just to give you a little spark notes on me, I guess. Um, currently I'm 32 years old. Um, yeah, like I said, I mean, I started working at the Kid Crowded Morning Show fresh out of college at 22 or 21 or whatever I was at that age. And then I started being on air at 25. And so I've grown up with the show and I've grown up with the audience. The audience has seen me go through an anxiety attack live on air. They've seen me interview my favorite artists for the very first time ever. They've seen me go from Ryan being my boyfriend to my fiance to my husband. You know, like it's it's so it's so beautiful and I do I do hope that this podcast you get to know me even more you know I I really really hope for that and yeah and I'm 32 I'm in a phase of life where all my friends are having kids and I love it so much like I I know that there's like a different kind of love when it's your kid but when I see my friends kids I feel just an unimaginable amount of love. You know, where I'm like, I look at your kid. I look at Atlas and I'm like, I will do anything for you. You know, like call me, call me when you need me. And you know, call me, beat me. If you want to reach me, I will be there. He's learned to bat those freaking eyes. Yes. He has this little smirk now that he puts on my friends and I'm like, stop. Yeah. And so, so I'm just, I'm really excited. And I think my biggest goal for this podcast, once again, is to build a community and I would love to do in-person events. I would love to do happy hours and movie nights and book clubs. And, you know, I just, I really, that really is what means a lot to me. I think the moment that I knew I had something special that I had to fulfill was at one of the movie nights that I hosted. And I don't even remember which movie it was. I think it was a scary movie. And there were so many wonderful people there. And afterwards I was walking to my car and there was a woman that stopped me she said hey if you think about it she was like she's like hey hey well it wasn't like that deep in the parking lot there was still lights you come around the corner are you are you Anna no who's asking no big me yes hi what's up um no there was this really really sweet woman and she she came up to me after the movie screening in the parking lot um but she said to me she was like I actually just lost my husband and this is the first time that I felt like I could go out this is the first time that I felt like I could go to a movie and feel happy and be around people be around people And I immediately started crying immediately because I was thinking if, if somebody feels safe enough and confident enough to do that and then tell me that's when I, that's when I really said, okay, this is something I need to keep building and I need to keep pursuing. So it really is moments like that, that I think are just so eye-opening and just a testament to the connection that people feel with each other, you know? So I do want to introduce our audience to us in a kind of pop culture type of way. I thought about us doing something called the Group Chat Zodiac. We'll get into that when we come back. Hi, welcome back to Anna's Group Chat podcast. Okay, so I had an idea for us to do what I like to call the Anna's Group Chat Zodiac. and kind of because you know how you're way more into astrology than i am kind of yeah but you know when you hear somebody if i say oh yeah i'm a leo you immediately know what kind of person i am what no loyal um and loves attention what wait no you're an aquarius i'm an aquarius yes yeah my dog buster is an aquarius oh that makes so much sense for him i know i know um so for the group chat zodiac i thought it would be kind of fun that way if we ever have guests on the podcast or anything they could tell us their group chat zodiac so it's like a pop culture astrological way of getting to know you so kind of in like a rapid fire format okay your favorite movie your favorite tv show your favorite music artist and your favorite book oh okay do I'm gonna go first sure okay well movie is always first of all music is probably the hardest movie um I would say one of my all time I used to have like a like a poster of it like a movie poster um but it was the breakfast club okay classic so classic I used to love that movie so much um right now I would say like my favorite movie that is more current that I just cannot stop thinking about or talking about and my husband's tired of me talking about it was Sinners. Oh my god. The most deserving Oscar winning role to Michael B. Jordan. I won't lie. I get emotional for him. All the awards he just keeps winning for this movie. There's just so much about it like the screenwriting, the character choices, the costumes, the script. There's also history behind it. um so everything about it was just amazing yeah agree um and i will say sometimes on a hard day i like to uh give like when my husband gets home from work i'm like i'm gonna go see a movie and he knows that's like like lingo for oh atlas was a little tough today oh i give him the baby and then i'll go take myself to a movie by myself and sinners was one of the first movies that i did that because i was like i have free will i can just leave the house you know it is kind of crazy when you realize that it took a long time i was like i can just leave yeah like what so um i took myself to go see sinners and it was so good in theaters i have seen it three times and i have no regrets good i'll watch it again honestly i need to see it again um favorite tv show i mean i would say like abbott elementary um i loved that 70s show classic another classic I know. I like to, I'm one of those that like rewatch the same shows. Comfort shows. I have comfort shows. Yeah. Cause I have seen like the office backwards and forwards. That's what led to your recommendation of jury duty. One of the best comedies to ever hit streaming. It's a train wreck. It is my type of humor. It's so funny. No, it's so funny. It's so uncomfortable and so funny. And so like, I know it's a joke, but like this poor guy, no i know so good there's two seasons out of that show and it's my favorite ever yes and i will say i'm i'm a big um like documentary person um but i'm i'm a big true crime person yes so i love like scary movies so like scream the original the og scream not the one through a thousand that's come out the og scream is also one of my favorite movies of all time like ghost faces the background my son has his own little mini ghost face that i did not buy him a friend gifted him which i don't know if that's worse actually um but i love scary movies anything scary um and then true crime documentaries yeah i watch so much which i know that is a very common female interest it really is but i personally have never been able to get into the true crime yeah world i get scared too easily i know i've seen yeah i've watched scary movies with you yeah you know it is what it is i know that's why i hope there's more scary movies for like screenings that we can do together because that'd be hilarious yeah um and then a favorite book so growing up i loved again i just love scary like horror thriller stuff so like stephen king was a go-to for me um i'm currently trying to read a book it's called um god of the woods yeah have you heard of it by liz liz liz wood liz more i think something like that yes well you know i know of it because taylor swift read it oh okay well it's been it's being adapted into a tv series did you see that no i did not starring maya hawk oh she oh i know she i love her i know oh and stranger things i know the big stranger things yeah that book is um on my never-ending tbr okay yeah no i'm currently slowly reading it i read The first 40 pages. It is a 500 page book. But it sounds very interesting. It's set in the 1970s. Summer camp. All these kids are there. This one girl goes missing. A few years prior, her brother went missing at the same camp. There's some kind of mystery going on. This is right up your alley. Right up. So that's what I'm currently reading right now. In between the parenting books. How do you keep a child alive? And then let's see. um and your favorite music artist yeah music artist that one is so loaded like i feel like how my music is it's how like movies probably is for you i mean my og like love of my life is stevie nicks um but i mean when i say i listen and have gone to every type of concert oh yeah you can even think of even down to like like metal yeah i've been in mosh pits i've also done girly pop yeah i've done country i'm going to a country concert this saturday i love concerts so if you're ever around dfw there's a good chance i've gone to you know smaller amounts now with my life but like i'm going to billy bubs love that for you so um but yeah so any music any genre if it's good music for the most part i'll try to end up going i love that like caveat like i'll go to see any musical artist as long as they're good as long as they're good it doesn't matter what category then yeah like oh yeah i'll check it out yeah for sure so for my group chat zodiac so favorite movie favorite tv show favorite artist and favorite book favorite movie to me i think is kind of a and this goes for everything i guess i think there's a difference between your favorite movie like the movie that you think is the best of all time versus the one that you can watch over and over and over and over again yeah i think those are two different questions yeah my favorite movie is how to lose a guy in 10 days uh i am such a rom-com girly like i grew up on all of that genre that era of 2007 rom-coms how to lose a guy in 10 days 27 dresses 13 going on 30 like all of that era i think defined me as a person yeah um but how to lose a guy in 10 days is my absolute favorite however the movie that made me want to study like film and tv and get into the creative aspect of it is jaws and i think it's because i watched it when i was a kid with my dad it was on tv but what i loved about the movie is right after the movie played there was a documentary that played and it was the behind the scenes on the making of jaws oh yeah no i've seen that and i think it was the first time that i ever saw what it takes to make a movie and i thought it was the coolest thing ever yeah it was absolutely fascinating to me yeah and so i I always credit that movie for inspiring me to want to be in the world of entertainment, you know? So it like I say like my favorite movies are Jaws and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days That a very I know but like for different reasons And I mean when I was in college I joined the film club and that where I met my now husband Ryan You know cause he had felt the same way Like he just loves the filmmaking aspect of all of that. And I mean, he was studying business, but he joined the film club and that's where we met. And so we, and he felt the same about Jaws. And so that's why we have a ginormous poster of Jaws in our house, because it just kind of inspired both of us in that way. So I would say that. For a favorite TV show, I think this is also hard because I feel like you have your favorite TV show like at the time. But of all time. And I think once again, I think I really connected with my dad growing up because of movies and TV. Yeah. And my dad is the number one Friends fan. And so I grew up I grew up watching Friends. And I think that also shaped me and my interest for when it comes to comedy and sitcoms and humor, you know. and so friends and it's like i have watched it through it's my comfort show i'll put it on just when i'm home and i need background noise but i wouldn't do good at friends trivia you know what i mean like i i like it and i enjoy it but if you ask me like a tough trivia question i can't i don't think i would excel in that if that makes sense oh yeah so it's like i want to say it's my favorite tv show but it's not like oh yeah we'll name season four episode two but it's like comfort yeah background like it calms your anxiety it's just a comfort show yeah yeah um favorite music artist. This is going to sound shocking. Oh my God. But I am a Swifty. I know. I know. I know. I know. This is crazy. Yes. I do have another podcast called 13 at Taylor Swift fan podcast. I mean, where you'd hear my voice as well. Yeah. Alicia is actually the intro to 13, which is very funny. I know. Once again, I've never been able to let you go. Yeah. I grew up with Taylor Swift. I mean, she's a couple of years older than me. And so when she would write about her life experiences and then make music about it by the time she put it out it was my life yeah you know i was 15 when the song 15 came out i was 22 when 22 came out so it's just kind of it's always been i've grown up with her and i think she's also been such a great artist to capture emotions and like sometimes i'll listen to a taylor swift song to process my own emotions that i don't know how to talk about you know yeah but i love that in music and that's why yeah music nerd yeah like and that right there is why i cannot stand i'm a little more vocal sometimes than you are about feelings feelings uh but nothing pisses me off more than the yucking someone's yum when it comes to so many things but also i feel like it's music so it's like how many times do you read hear told whatever oh you're a swifty that's stupid oh trust no one's ever said that's so embarrassing that's so yeah and it's like you're a loser if you're and it has it can be any music genre right i'm just like if you actually have an artist who puts out music that touches someone's soul that's the point of them being an artist yeah it's not to sell you something it's not to look a certain way it's not to influence it's to touch your life in a chapter that you're currently in yeah it's like that's why i love and i get like you know i read comments and was like that's so dumb like i do love mega moroni yeah i went to go see i just got into her music yeah i and she kind of reminds me of taylor swift oh yeah like right and so like i am she's only had like two albums i think she just put out her third or something um but for her first or her second album i was like one of her top five percent that's so cool but i just I don't relate to the music at this chapter in my life. But you did at one point. I did. Every word that she, especially in this new album, you know, like the songs like Who Hurt You. Oh my God, I love that song. Or, you know, stuff like that. It's just like, there are lyrics that can change your life and hit a heartstring in the chapter you're in. And that is the point of an artist. Yeah. Yeah. It's like people hate on Taylor Swift. I'm like, Taylor Swift is the master class of that. And the thing to me is like, you don't have to be obsessed with Taylor Swift, but telling me flat out that you like hate her, it just makes no sense to me because even if I'm talking to someone and they like playing golf, I'm not going to be like, Oh, I would hate to play golf. Yeah. Like I don't play golf, but I'm not going to go up to somebody who loves to play golf and be like, God, that's so boring. Yeah. I would never do that. It's kind of just like, that's, that's, that's what it is at the, at the core of it. it is just kind of like making someone feel dumb for being excited about something. But to continue my Zodiac, my favorite book, I would say is Fourth Wing, because I did enjoy reading growing up. I read the Twilight books, the Hunger Games books, the Harry Potter books, like I did enjoy it. But then I think there was a long period of time where I just didn't read. I mean, you go to college, you're social, like whatever, life happens. And then there was a moment a couple of years ago, where I caught myself just being addicted to scrolling my phone and my mental state was not good and I could recognize that and I thought I need to do something that just captivates me enough to not be looking at my phone because even if you watch a good movie or good tv show sometimes you're still scrolling on your phone I was like I need something that occupies me enough like a like a yeah robot zoning out yeah so it's like I need something that's occupying enough and so I had at that point seen people on Instagram posting about this book fourth wing and because at that point the second one had just come out I think and so I was like okay if everybody's talking about it it's getting great reviews I'm just gonna go pick it up I stopped at Target on my way home from work one day grabbed it didn't even read what it was about like didn't I mean maybe the little blurb on like the side of it but I didn't know what it was about so I just went into it and read it and I loved it I think I finished it in two days and I have never in my life read a book that fast I immediately finished it and went to target and got the next one got the second book iron flame loved it then I had to wait like a year to get the third one because at that point I caught up so the third one came out I think this past year um on a storm and so now we're waiting for the fourth one and so it was also a gateway drug in a way because after reading fourth wing then I read a court of thorns and roses that entire series yeah and then I read the throne of glass series And then I started reading just a bunch of other fantasy books. And my friend Steffi and I, we read a lot of the same books. And so we had like a little book club where it was just us reading the same books. And I loved it so much. And I have found such a love for reading, which then also inspired me to do writing. So I've been doing creative writing as a hobby. I've been entering creative writing contests, like just for fun. I didn't know this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just for fun because I just really, I like it. Everything in life should be just for fun. Yeah, that's so true. everything you do there's no stress behind it at all that's so true you want to learn a brand new hobby of like a pogo stick yeah honey go get a pogo stick and you know what's one of the best one of the best pieces of advice i ever saw and this is in the tiktok comment section which is crazy but there was somebody i even forget what the video was but there was a comment on a video on tiktok that i saw that said if there's something that you want to pursue do it because the time is going to pass anyway. Absolutely. So even if you think like, man, I've always considered going back to school, but four years is a long time. Those four years, they're going to pass anyway. And then four years later, you're going to say, I should have done it four years ago, but now it's going to be another four years and I'm not going to do it. No, that time is going to pass anyway. Yeah. So you might as well just start doing it. Start today. People are like, I don't want to be 40 and go back to school. You're going to be 40 regardless. Right. You can either be 40 with a degree or 40 and be like i was too scared to go to go back to school right and and that applies to that applies to anything like if i had thought man i've always wanted to write but what am i ever going to do with it and it's like no i should just pick it who's going to pick it up as a hobby enter it anonymously into competitions and be so happy with it so anyway so i do i do love that i i love everything about this i love our little group chat zodiac i want to continue this on for anytime we have any guests on absolutely yeah this is fun um yes but just to wrap up our our pilot episode because i i hope that people did get to know us at least a little bit you know but to wrap it up i'm really really really excited for this podcast i'm excited for us i'm excited for our listeners um and this is going to be a fun journey this is going to be really fun journey we plan on having new episodes weekly every wednesday we're going to have a new episode.
