All right, another one of those weekends where a lot of things happen if you were in Mexico on vacation we're being told buckle down be safe get out if you can we've all seen the videos you've probably seen the videos absolute atrocities of what's going on in Mexico and these are places we went to resorts we've stayed I've probably been in Mexico 50 times the last 25 years we have some incredible memories but every time he'd go he'd say hey just be careful what could happen and this whole El Mencho story of what's going on with him The guy was a former cop, is what he was. The guy that they killed, who was the leader of TJNG, El Mencho, was a former cop. He was a local police officer. His story will go through. He got arrested in the U.S. before. They send him back. We've known who he is. They split off from the cartel, and then they did what they did. But anyways, there's a lot to cover there. And Tom had a very unique angle this morning. Mexico's most powerful drug kingpin was killed during a military operation. Mexican officials say criminal groups burn cars and trucks to block roads across the country. The State Department is warning Americans to shelter in place. ABC's Melissa Adan is near the border tonight. Explosions erupting across Puerto Vallarta tonight. Black smoke seen rising over the resort city on Mexico's Pacific coast. Mexico's military force is launching a daring operation to capture cartel leader Ruben N., known as El Mencho. Multiple cars on fire in the streets. Mexican officials say during their operation, military personnel were attacked. Several CarHell members were killed. Of people running out of airports. Yep. Of fire everywhere. Maybe show that. Just think about, guys, many of you have been to this airport before. I've been to this airport I don't know how many times, but if you haven't, just play the clip. This is regular people. Even security's running. You know it's bad when security's running. I'll come to you first and then, Tom, I'm going to come to you as well on this. El Mencho, his name is Nemesio Oseguara Cervantes. He used to be a local cop himself. He got arrested in the States, in America, I believe in the 90s, if I'm not mistaken, for drug charges, later deported to Mexico, born in Michoacan. We have a lot of friends from Michoacan, but he was born in Michoacan. He's a leader of Jalisco's new generation cartel, CJNG. CJ and G, they rose in dominance in early 2000s when they broke away from the Mexican Sinaloa cartel. So they were part of it. U.S. had a $10 million reward bounty for somebody that catches them. I think Mexico had a multimillion dollar bounty on catching them. And then they were known for the synthetic drugs like fentanyl and methamphetamine that they were selling. Obviously, a very profitable situation that they have going on there. And then all of a sudden, he gets killed. This is the phone call, Rob. Is this the phone call that you have? There's a phone call that takes place. By the way, for those of you that speak Spanish, I just want you to know he's cursing nonstop. So brace for impact. He's going to drop every single F-bomb in the world you can think about. But this is him calling, having a conversation, Rob, if I'm not mistaken, with cops, saying what the hell are you guys doing. You know, he said, I'll kill your dogs. That means he will kill the wife, the kids. These people are freaking relentless. I saw videos that were popping up on my X-Feed pack. I had to turn away because of the brutality. These guys, you want to talk about ISIS and Hamas and all that, yeah, horrible as well. These guys aren't that far off. They had one guy taped to a tree, and they're like, in Spanish, they're like, okay, you ready? Are you recording? Blowtorch. And blowtorch and lift the guy on fighter, and they even had to shut the audio off because it's that bad. And it's kind of weird because now I'm tying in. Remember last week or the week before? Yep. El Paso shut down the airport because they said it was the balloon. I think it has something to do with these guys and flying drones around. But let's just call it what it is. They designated, Trump designated them as terrorists. If the president of Mexico, Scheinblatt, whatever her name is, she's scared of them and cooperating with them. I think this was, and my dude, this was them. They took him out with the assistance of us. We're not claiming that we did everything, but we did coordinate, I think, with logistics and stuff like that for location. And not our guys. No, not our guys. And by the way, the number two is going to step up. But at the end of the day, I'm happy that they're starting to take this serious. The border is just an open turnstile that Mexico with China as well, but Mexico mainly, is bringing in guns. They're bringing in drugs. They're sex trafficking kids. And these are the guys. These are the guys. So when everybody, because I guarantee you today you're going to hear on all these shows, all these leftists, they're going to be like, oh, we're starting a new war. We're going to go in. We're trying to install this and install this. Guys, they killed hundreds of thousands of Americans just with drugs alone. And now think about this. Americans are at Puerto Vallarta. My cousin Rumson, who was here last week, Pat, they were in Cabo a couple weeks ago, a month ago for the wedding. And I warned them. I go, bro, they're putting out threats towards Americans. Be careful. We talked yesterday. He was like, oh, my God, I have friends that are there or are planning on going there. And it's just it's a bad situation. And by the way, it's not going to get better. The number two guy has already started and made a video saying, what's up? Here we go, Tom. It's going to get bad. Tom, by the way, Tom's perspective here is probably very important for everybody to consider because the next 48 hours, anything could happen. Go ahead, Tom. So for all of us that are taking a look at this, we could talk about Trump and the FTO designation and all that went with it. We could talk about disruption to supply chain, tourism and all that. We could talk about all that. I think there's a lesson here. And when you take a look at Iran, that's what I think we need to be worried about. And perhaps that's why there's been this slow buildup of all the military and they're trying to get around to the table. Because you look over here. We haven't seen the confirmed deaths yet. There were deaths. There were deaths of citizens. There are deaths of almost certainly there's been deaths of tourists down there. Almost certainly the shooting through there. We just don't have reliable media or anybody that's down there to cover it. But you cut the head off the dragon pat, you better be ready for the consequence. Look what happened. Saddam Hussein was found in a hole with lice and the beard, and he was just running for his life. And so they finally found him there. And all the crazies swept in in Iraq. And there have been alliances with the cartels. Then you're going to find out he has to do something ruthless, Kaiser Soce, to establish his power. That's the way this works. By the way, if this continues, the FIFA president, he is not a joke. He will cancel the games in Jalisco and move it to a different place in no time. This is horrible to the city. Imagine how many small business owners were relying on that game. Yeah, he will cancel and move it to a different place. Infantinum. Yeah, he will move it to a complete different place. He's the one that gave that award to the president having to do with peace. I don't know if you remember that. He gave some kind of an award, the FIFA Peace Award to the president in November 2025. Yeah, the FIFA Peace Prize that he gave. Yep. Yeah, and so I'm looking at it. It's going to be one of the 32 matchups, so it could be anybody. It could be anybody, a major Latin American power. You know, it's most likely going to be Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, some of those that could play there. Can I ask you a question, though? Because I just thought, Rob, can you put that headline of the president, Scheinblom, whatever her name is, from Mexico? For the president to say using force against cartels would violate human rights. War on narco, not an option. It's clear to anybody that's paying attention that she's obviously connected with them. But my question is this. Well, guys, here's the thing. Stand there. Stand there. What is the difference with her saying that and what that cop was saying to Elmantra? There's no difference. There's no difference. In fact, I want to ask you this question. You get them off us. Yeah, I want to ask you guys this question. We see what's going on in Europe. Like you have to be an absolute idiot to not understand how great America is. So I have, there's, I have no interest in going to Mexico at all. All my friends, they go to Cancun, they go to Tulum, they go to all these wonderful cities in Mexico. I go, dude, just go to Miami. You want to go to see Cuba, go to Little Havana. You want to go see Venezuela, go to Doral. You want to go visit people in Haiti, go to Little Haiti. Come to Miami if you want beaches. Unfortunately, if you want to see Somalia, you got to go to Minnesota for that. But we live in the greatest country in the world. We live in the best state in the world. We live in the best city in South Florida, in Miami, and this is what happens in Mexico when you take out a narco-terrorist, a drug dealer. This is how the country acts. No, thank you. You know they caught his son, too. There's a video of his son on a helicopter, shirtless, head down, and they're pushing, and he keeps trying to look out the window. So they captured him. I mean, they killed him, and they got his son. I don't know how many sons he has, but this guy, El Mencho. So I don't know what El Mencho stands for, but if I'm just going to say the Mench, the Mench, ironically, in Judaism, means the most upstanding, incredible human of all time, the Mench. But the Mench's son apparently is sentenced to life in prison, serving time in D.C. You can fact check that. His brother that goes by the name of Tony Montana, like from Scarface, Antonio, he's now apparently running the show over here. But only in Mexico. What is this? See the guy with the shirt with his head down? Yeah. That's him. Allegedly, that's him. That's them with the son. And he's a little nervous the pilot looks. By the way, only in Mexico can you grow up more. The head down is the son. The head down is the son. His son. Yeah. That's his son. That they caught him? His other son. Who caught him? He is a Mexican cartel figure identified as senior commander in Jalisco New Generation Cartel. He's one. The other one is Aldia Flores Silva. And he's also a alleged high-ranking figure in the same gang, one of the most powerful gangs out there. Also born in Michoacan. And then you have Juan Carlos Valencia Gonzalez. another high-ranking guy. So one of those three, they're saying, could take over. The U.S. Department has $5 million for information leading to his arrest. This guy here, Juan Carlos Valencia Gonzalez. So it would be interesting what happens there. But as we continue and we move on, Iran's situation is escalating very, very quickly. Everybody's asking, is it going to happen today? Is it going to happen tomorrow? Is it going to happen this? By the way, would it be true, would it be unlike Trump to do it while he's giving a State of the Union tomorrow night, Tuesday night? Can you imagine he's giving a speech and all of a sudden, boom, the attack takes place. And at the end he says, by the way, check your phones. Iran has officially been this. We have Khamenei. We have this. We have that. They may or may not. It's a little bit too risky. But when you're looking at what happened, did you see the B-52? Which bomber was it that was flying in, Rob? So I think this is going to be surgical, and I think they've got it planned. They've got the buildup there. And I think Witkoff said something over the weekend. He said, you know, they're not cooperating anymore in discussions. And Witkoff also said, I really fear that they do have the enrichment capabilities. And Witkoff has never said that. I went back and looked at Witkoff. Witkoff doesn't put these little things out there like that. This is not his style. This is not the way he did it. So for him to be saying, I believe that they have the ability to enrich the uranium, we've been trying to talk to them. They're no longer talking forthrightly. So when I see that, you know, we're giving them the opportunity. Witkoff's there. Rubio is behind the scenes. We're trying to get them to do the right thing. But we want the transition. We don't want to have Crazy 2 as the sequel to Crazy 1. So I think what's about to happen here, you can't allow the enrichment. But you've got to have a plan for succession. That's the issue, Pat. Those two things is what they're juggling. You've got to have a plan. You've got to get rid of the enrichment. You've got to go out to the facilities. But then you've got to have a plan for succession. And I think they're doing everything they can to do both at once, and they're going to be pushed to the wall where I think they have to just go in and take care of the enrichment and just say, hey, don't F around. Because apparently the last time when Whitcoff and Kushner went there to negotiate, I don't know if you heard what happened at the end. At the end, they're like, no, we're good. They walked out. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This is it. Out. No more negotiation. They came. They made their offer. There was discussion. They said there's nothing else to discuss. They left. They killed all their friends, and they're coming back two weeks later basically saying, no, we can't stand for this. There's the most daylight in the world between the most brutal regime and the people that want freedom exists in Iran. So, number two, follow the money. The people have nothing to live for at this point. The economy is in shambles. Half the people don't want to follow this ridiculous ideological religious regime. And they're just basically saying, please come help us. Now, Trump, you've said that help is on the way. So what are you doing, president? He said that the pro-war people are led by Marco Rubio and include Pete Hegseth and now the Joint Chiefs of Staff. And I stopped him on that point this morning and I said, wait a minute. I said during the Iraq war, at the start of the Iraq war, the most stridently anti-war component was the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They were always the last ones that wanted to attack because they know what war is. And he said, ah, but you forget. Trump has replaced all of the Joint Chiefs this year, this past in the past 12 months, which I had forgotten. Tom, what do you think? Any of these four. Well, first of all, every president is going to have his own cabinet, his own appointments. Everybody that's flipping out over the FCC and equal time provision forgets that Biden had his FCC person. Now Trump's got his FCC person. And it's a policy. They're implementers of policy. He's the commander in chief. He will appoint the joint chiefs that he gets along with. You have Biden, who was commander in chief, and he was appointing joint chiefs and then generals that were more interested in in skirts, trans and making the military into something else than they were in national defense. So it does not surprise me that the joint chiefs would think different to his point there. And I also believe what they're saying. You know, I don't think Rubio's a war hawk. Here come the comments. Oh, you don't understand. No, I don't think he's war first, but I think he recognizes what has to be done here. And, you know, do I think the cabinet's split? Yeah, because you know what? I think Trump's got people in that cabinet that have a little tension with each other, that don't necessarily agree with people. And I think, you know, you value that as a leader, that you get perspectives in the room. Everybody tells you you're right all the time. than the day you're wrong and they're still telling you you're right, you're naked. So I hope what he's saying has some truth to it. I don't know about his information or credibility. That's not what I'm worried about. Who I do trust are the Iranian people saying, Mahboud Ayatollah Khomeini. So we're all worried about who's going to be the next person up. I'm not worried about that. Why not? Because what are the Iranian people are asking? Are they shouting, who's the next person? That will be figured out. By the way, in Miami, I've spoken to not 10, not 15, hundreds of Venezuelans. Every single one was like, dude, I don't care what happens next. You have supreme leader vibes, which is this complete theological, theocratic, Shiite regime, which they seem to be done with. You have king or ruler, which was the Shah, or you have democracy. In my opinion, you have to go the middle version. They're done with the Shiite ruler, and there's zero case examples that democracy will work in the Middle East. We could wish for it. We could love it. Yes, you're going to be just like America. I don't know if that's possible there. So maybe you need a temporary Shah, whether it's Reza Pellavi, whatever it is. But there's no evidence in the last 50 years that a democracy can work in the Middle East. You tell me. Am I right? Am I wrong? Thoughts on this, P.B.D.? Well, no. The argument of people saying, you know, let them have an election, let them choose their president. then if you take with the position you're saying, this isn't about let it fall and let's see who takes over. What the people over there are saying is, I am willing to protest. And we want you to cut the head off the snake. We want anything but this. And that's what you're seeing. And I think if there was a clear path, we already would have intervened. First of all, in the midst of the cacophony, you had Rand Paul step up and said, look, we don't want a president to use executive order when the power of executive order isn't there because the precedent is when we have a liberal president or somebody from the other side, you're going to get stuff coming back the other way. We have to do this orderly. But Rand Paul is not necessarily anti-tariff. So on one hand, I get it. I get that we don't want to use the executive order if there's not authority. However, on the other side, we have been doing nothing. And what President Trump showed was leadership on tariffs, which I agreed with. We got people to give us trade deals. We got people that come to the negotiating table and got things shifted that he's right for. We had decades that certain industries were disadvantaged and our own government didn't care about our own people in our own industries that were going through it. And Trump went out and did it. Now, what I don't like is the politicization with ignorance and the politicization with ignorance is the Dems and the liberals that think, ha ha, we stopped Trump. Wait, what did you stop? The tariffs have been working. There was not rampant inflation. CPI came out and it was 0.1, 2.3 and 2.4 year over year. You have to give a leader the ability to lead. And what's happening here is what's behind the scenes. The globalists and the liberals want this one world government. They don't want leaders to lead from a sovereign position. And so they're trying to stop him. But what you're seeing with Trump is he's trying to lead. And it's very tough for a leader to lead in a committee environment. And that's exactly what you have in government. And he's trying to sit down, get to certain points and push them. And so the Supreme Court decision disappointed me because I read it and I believe that there is executive order capability in the area of tariffs, they're saying no. But Scott Besson has been saying for a year that they have other tools. To me, it's not that they have other tools to get it done. They're going to get it done for our economy. He's not going to give up. The issue is we've got liberals that think it's a good thing that you've incapacitated your leader from making good decisions for your country to right wrongs have been going on for decades and you don't like him so anything but him that's the part that sickens me the part that sickens me is no one is looking at the success we've had on trade pat no one's looking at the success we've had negotiating with people it's just anti-trump and it that's the part that just pisses me off i want you to see this clip and i'm coming to you go ahead rob justices gorsuch and and barrett are you surprised in particular by their decision today And do you regret nominating them? I don't want to say whether or not I regret it. I think their decision was terrible. I think it's an embarrassment to their families. You want to know the truth, the two of them. Yeah. He started scoffing in his mind. He says, Trump, go. It's an embarrassment to their families. So at first he was stopped. Vinny, where do you stand? Well, I mean, like, honestly, is anybody out there surprised? It's been an uphill battle to say the least from 2016 with Russia, Obama, spying, fast forward all the way to shooting him, to even trying to win for America. And it's not like it's not working. How many billions and billions of dollars? We're freaking coming back. We're coming back. And it just drives me crazy that even when you try to say, Tommy, Republican, it's like enough already. Can we just, the guy's doing a fantastic job. Yeah, I have some criticizing points on some other stuff, but, like, what are we doing? It's working. We're respected. The money's starting to come in time. You talked about the numbers with the percentages and everything's coming back. It's like, give me a break. When is it going to stop, Pat? When are they going to say, okay, listen, you're the president. We trust you at this point. Go do it. Let me see the breakdown. Let me see the case study. Oh, you made us $300 billion? Okay, keep doing your thing. They're respecting us. You understand what I'm saying? Yeah, on April 1st, the market goes down, and then the market comes back all the way through the year, comes back. Consumer CPI comes out. There was not rampant inflation. Do the liberals want to come to the microphone and say, oh, I'm sorry, I was wrong. I said there'd be rampant inflation because of its tariffs. It didn't happen. Oh, we got trade deals done for a number of industries. I said that would never happen. Oh, wait, gosh, it didn't. Look at this. There's a success on it that no one wants to talk about. Here's my concern with this is when your president that you voted for is in, you support executive orders, whatever he wants to do, right? When your president voted for, you probably align with his ideas what percentage? Say 90%? Okay, all right. So you want that. Go make decisions. And remember, you can celebrate it when you're president until the other side gets elected. Of course. My biggest trust in the system and the Constitution came when I found out what the most powerful community is in D.C., and that's the Supreme Court. Of course. We learned this during COVID. We learned this the last eight years. It's the most powerful. So check this out. Since 1700s, 1789 or so, 165 formal Supreme Court nominations have happened. How many of them do you think got rejected that didn't make it? 165, how many didn't make it after the Senate hearing? 165, how many didn't make it? 165 got in. Well, there have been a few. I mean, Bush had one that blew up and he had to pull it back. Merrick Garland didn't make it. Bork, Robert Bork got blown up. How many do you think out of 165? What do you think the number is? Is it high? Is it low? Is it? I think it was probably 20, I'll guess. 20, 37. That didn't make it through. That didn't make it through. They think there's a high bar. So do you know why that's important to me? Because imagine if all of a sudden Kamala doesn't get any other job and they nominate her to be a Supreme Court. How do you think she's going to vote when it comes down to different ruling and off the ballot in Colorado, you have to really make sure this is not an evil person. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying. You have to really be thinking. So to me, a bigger part of this is more a 50-year thing than a short term. When I was with Rand Paul, Rob, if you want to pull up the interview with Rand Paul, how long ago was this when we were in D.C.? Two weeks ago. Was it two weeks ago, three weeks ago? Three weeks. Watch this. Go ahead, Rob. Against this, I want him to have it. My concern is if Supreme Court takes that away from him, that power away from him, which he keeps bringing it up, which means they may do it. They may say no, and then we lose the revenue that we're getting. Well, it's not a matter of taking it away from him. The Constitution is pretty explicit. Taxes originate in the House. They have to go to the Senate. It specifically even mentions duties and levies. It mentions tariffs in the Constitution. It says that they are in the prerogative of the House. Even the Senate can't. We're not supposed to initiate tariffs. Only the House does. Comes to the Senate, goes to the President. It is a tax. A tariff is a tax. And it never was the prerogative of the president. Now, some legislation has tried to give him that power. But what he's using is something called IEPA, which is an emergency legislation. And it doesn't mention anything about tariffs. Do you think the Supreme Court is going to rule against them? If they follow the law, they absolutely will rule against them. Boom. You've got to be kidding me. Yeah, because the law is explicit. And so he will try to use other reasons for how he can use tariff. But it's also very chaotic. I mean, you know. You can pause it right there. So this is Rand Paul saying this two and a half weeks ago. When he said it, he says if they follow the law, they will rule against him. Adam, thoughts? Well, thank you for interviewing Rand Paul because once he basically said that, I was like, oh, they're going to strike this thing down. Because in my opinion, you know who we need to make great again? Congress. We need to make Congress great again. There was a time where Congress actually did their job. But we're living in such partisan times that they can't even do anything. So Trump has to do things like this. So if I'm a massive, massive MAGA Trump fan, here's how I'm thinking. Trump's doing the right thing. He's American to make our great again. We're going to impose reciprocal tariffs. They're going to pay. We've had, what, 2% tariffs in all these countries. We're putting it up. You know, he busted out that whole chart. I love my charts. You know, the EU, they're going to pay 39%. Vietnam, they're going to pay 90%. Taiwan, 64%. Japan, 46%. India, 52%. One by one by one by one, they were all paying 2%. So now he basically put it down to, what, 15% now? But Rand Paul's right because what goes around comes around. And he said to give this example, God forbid President Communist AOC shows up and wants to start implementing a socialist agenda. What then? All the progressives are going to say, exactly, this is what we voted for, and all the people with common sense are going to be like, uh-uh, uh-uh. So I said on the last podcast, thank God this was 6-3 and not 5-4 because Trump, of course, is attacking the judges that didn't side with him. But what's the, you know, Article 1 of the Constitution, all legislative powers are granted to the Congress of the United States. They have the power to make the laws, to declare war, which they haven't done since World War II, even though we've been wars all over the world. to levy taxes, which are basically tariffs, and to confirm judges, like you just mentioned, and cabinet members. So I totally understand why Rand Paul, where he's coming from, because we respect the rule of law. He basically said, in defense of our republic. But I also understand why people are pissed. Trump's doing the right thing. Trump's basically imposing these reciprocal tariffs. Unfortunately, nobody wants to say the quiet part out loud that this has costed the average American household about $1,000 per household. So, you know, you get what you pay for, you know, your wishful thinking. Pritzker came out and said, send this cost to the average American $1,700. Send them back $1,700. Cut the checks. Here's what his name had to say. Rob, if you want to go to that, Kevin O'Leary, go forward. Great to see you. So this has got to be a pretty big day in your world. What has the reaction been? It's not a great day for me. We were humming along nicely until this morning. Here's what's happening on the ground. I know you've been talking about the politics and the policy, but let's talk about a business making $100 million in sales. It might have paid out $5 million in the last 14 months on these tariffs. They're in my portfolio. I got phone calls from our customers, from our lenders, because we bore it against our line of credit, and from our shareholders that we reduced distributions on during this period, waiting to settle on the tariffs. They all want their money back. Now, to be compliant, what am I supposed to do? I don't even know how this is going to get filed. It's going to be with Treasury, not the IRS, I assume. So I'm going to try and get a meeting with staffers, best of staffers, when I get to the State of the Union next week, to see if they can give me some guidance, because my head's getting squeezed from the top and the bottom to be compliant. And every business in America is going through this right now. There are people that want their money back within the distribution shareholder and lender system. And for me, and I'm telling you right now, you're the first to hear it, I'm setting up a resource called Wondertrust.com, hiring if not hundreds, thousands of accountants and lawyers, because I don't know how else to be compliant. And I'm going to use them with my companies. What else are we supposed to do? Because everybody wants their money back. And I wish, I don't know what the policy is going to be on that. It's not a great afternoon for me, to be honest with you. Do you feel like you eat? Tom. Well, you see the waterfall effect. Everything's got consequences. And so now what they're talking about is, is there going to be a tariff refund for all the companies that have paid for that? You know, that money. So, in other words, let me translate tariff refund, folks. The government basically issues money. We used to say print money. But government just takes on more debt, pays everybody back on the tariffs. We take two steps back on balancing the budget. The can gets kicked down the road, and we are sitting there in a worse economic position long term. Trump is trying to turn the corner on this. There's so much to it. And, you know, Kevin O'Leary is right. You know, here he is an investor. He's trying to help companies be compliant with the laws and what they're going to do. And he's got some people that are screaming, I want my money back. And he's saying, well, then how do we do this? How do we hand it over? Washington doesn't know and doesn't understand what it's doing. The liberal side don't understand the impact they have on American businesses, even though the Supreme Court has ruled the way Rand Paul thought they would rule on the rule of law. Tariffs are a tax. Therefore, taxes only come from Congress. End of story. It's such a bigger issue here about leadership in America and allowing the president to govern. There was a time where we could come together across the aisle where Tip O'Neill would sit with Ronald Reagan in the Rose Garden and have lunch once a week and talk through things for the good of the country. Well, right now you have certain people that are worried about the good of the country and it's conservative. Yeah, you know, I said this to you this morning, is, and I don't even know what other way to say it. I don't know if Trump's wiring is built for the speed of our system in America. I don't think it is because. Well, his speed worked negotiating with other countries. It did. But can you imagine like you're working in a company that you're working faster than the company is working? So we're accustomed to the startup environment. If we want to make a decision, how quickly do we make a decision here? Like this, we make a decision. How quickly do we make a decision in PHP? Like this, we make a decision. Change the comp. Do this, do that. We're going here. We're doing that, right? Give me the facts. Let's process. Let's go. Now you go to a company. You've got board approval. You've got to go through this. Which, by the way, so America's got multiple layers of board. A company typically has one board. Yeah. So you have to go sit down with the board. got seven, nine, eleven people and say, guys, here's what I think we need to do. Let's vote for it. I think we make this investment and buy the company for $188 million. Five, four voting against it. What are you talking about? Here, Congress, then Senate, then. So what? By the way Rob can you ask the question according to the Constitution and our system if the president did take all the tariffs for the different countries he imposed through Congress and Senate what is the fastest and slowest it would take for them to get approved Do you know what question I'm asking? Each country? Yeah, so I want to know if, okay, great, we follow the system because that's the great thing about America, you're following the system. If we did follow the system, according to the Constitution, what does it say? Short answer, a president doesn't even mean? Because Congress already has delegated part of its authority through existing trade laws. The speed depends on how long the president gives Congress power to regulate commerce and set tariffs. But over decades, Congress passed laws that delegate limited tariff power to the president, which is why the president, I know, but that's the 10 to 15. But I'm talking about above the 15 percent. You saw the president that just raised it from 10 to 15? Well, it says the slow path. New tariffs require full congressional legislation. We know what's going to happen there. You end up with the inflation bill with a bunch of other crap packed into it. Go lower, Rob, to see what the slow path would be. Keep going lower. Slow path. Okay, number one, bill introduced to the House or Senate. Two, committee hearings and markups. Three, majority vote on House, majority vote on Senate. President signed realistically months to years. Yeah. Are you kidding me? Like, what do you? How long did the big, beautiful bill take? By the way, can you flip the question and ask, flip the question, copy-paste the question, and just replace it instead of America, put China or Russia? Change the country from U.S. to China or Russia on how long it would take? 24 hours. Well, that's the point, though. China's system works very differently. The fastest and slowest and slowest and slowest and slowest and slowest and slowest and slowest. Who controls the formerly trade-in tariffs or sits under the state, general and state council, custom tariffs, oversight, fastest way, administrative approval under authority. If tariffs are framed, how fast? Days to weeks, okay? What about slow? Slowest way, majority and long-term alignment, usually months, sometimes longer. But it doesn't say months or years. So our system, even if you wanted to go through, by the time they get to vote would be midterms. And then even if it passes through. So all I'm saying is for a person that comes from the business background that's used to dealing with speed, the speed of getting tariffs done is way too slow in America. Way too slow. Do you understand what I'm saying? I totally get it. And it's great. But some would say, thank God it's slow. Some would argue and say, thank God it's slow because, you know, you're happy when certain things are fast. But you're like, remember day one, we're going to sign an executive order. We're going to sign an executive order. So then moving forward, you almost have to sit there and think about when a president says, we're about to sign an executive order. You've got to sit there and say, listen, Supreme Court, how's the Supreme Court going to be ruling? Again, it all goes back to how powerful the Supreme Court is. The Supreme Court is the board of directors. It's the board of the U.S. And thank God we have them, whether we like them or just them. I'm telling you, I love it. Remember when Biden wanted to allegedly pack the court? We're like, what does that mean? What's going to happen here? By the way, you know who looks incredible right now? Maybe the biggest win of his career is Rand Paul. He said it on the PPD podcast. He said straight up, I expect them to shut this down because they're going to, in defense of our republic. We've had hundreds of thousands of people move in California the last two, three years. We've seen population growth. As you know, we've moved from sixth to the fourth largest economy in the world. We dominate now in every key industry from AI, quantum, robotics. We dominate in ag. People are struggling to do poor things like your mom was. Oh, she dropped the mom thing. But, and again, professional, you have to give, like, he's such a good serpent in the grass. He knows the exact, by the way, I even forgot what the question was. Because he's like, we're dominating, I'm using my hands, look at my hands, don't look at the lies that are coming out of my mouth. He's the future. He's the future of their party, Tom. Him and the Mamdani's and the AOC's. Tom. That's them. Beware. The pandering makes me sick. The pandering has gone on from the Democrats for a long time. And when African-Americans and people go out there and express independence, Stephen A. Smith is not out there screaming like a conservative, but he takes a moderate point of view and he's calling things out that he doesn't like. And there are some that do it, but suddenly they call you names. Oh, you're betraying us or you're going the other way. They're expected to stay in lockstep. In lockstep voting for people that pander to you like this. In lockstep to a guy that comes in there. You have to remember Obama did it too. He said Democrats in city halls should stop governing as if it's a goal to announce new entitlements and instead make government work. Now, here's what he said about New York City, which is like the crown jewel of government bloat. Number one, their budget right now, which we talked about the other day, $127 billion just in New York City alone, which is the size of some small countries like Greece and Thailand. That's number one. Number two, under Mayor Bloomberg, which was as soon as, as recent as 2013, I want to say, so 13 years ago, it's $127 billion now. Take a guess what it was under Bloomberg. $70 billion. Okay, so almost double in the last 13 years. So if you want to talk supply and demand, whichever that comes down to, pre-COVID, there was 8.8 million people living in New York City. 8.8. Everyone fled. The rich left. Whoever can afford the hell to leave. They're all living in Miami, Florida, wherever they went. It bottomed down at what? 8.356. 8.35. Okay, so that's how many people left? So $42 billion just goes to educating kids, 35 grand a kid. Now, if you want to show this last piece, this is what a high earner has to pay in New York. We understand that California is at what, 13%? Tom did the math last week. He said, Adam, you forgot about not only the state but the city tax as well and the personal income tax. You're paying as much as 55%. That's what you're paying in the EU. And by the way, in the EU, you get universal health care and free college. At what point are New Yorkers going to say, what are we paying for at this point? Unbelievable. And the coup de grace right here is, I don't know if I sent you this, New York City has the highest marginal corporate tax rate. So even companies are paying 17.4%. At what point are people going to say, I'm done with this. I'm moving to Miami. Come on down. The weather's fine. You know what's pretty bad? That was great, the numbers you went through. Next story I want to get to is the gunman of Mar-a-Lago Robb. If you want to pull this up. A gunman over the weekend, we all saw the reports, 20-year-old guy tried to jump over, and he had a shotgun in his hand, and in no time he was eliminated. Rob, if you want to play this clip. At 1.30 this morning, the security detail detected that an individual had made his way into the inner perimeter of Mar-a-Lago. A deputy and two Secret Service agents on the detail went to that area to investigate. They confronted a white male that was carried a gas can and a shotgun. He was ordered to drop those two pieces of equipment that he had with him, at which time he put down the gas can, raised the shotgun to a shooting position. At that point in time, the deputy and the two Secret Service agents fired their weapons and neutralized the threat. He is deceased at the scene. I'll give you a picture of the shotgun and the gas can to have with you. So that's what we know now. Investigation continues. The FBI is the lead investigation agency on this case, and we will be assisting them in whatever manner they would like, and they will be responsible for answering any other questions at an appropriate time. Okay, so that's that. Now, the gunman shot at Mar-a-Lago was obsessed with Epstein cover-up, came from a family of avid Trump supporters. The man who entered Trump's, again, this is the Daily Mail story. The man who entered Trump Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun and a gun, a gas cannon. It comes from a family of supporters. Austin Tucker Martin, 21 years old, was shot and killed on Sunday morning after entering Mar-a-Lago. Brandon Fields, Martin's cousin, reacted with disbelief, called Martin quiet and sane. His family was almost entirely in favor. We are big Trump supporters, all of us, everybody, Fields said. but his cousin was real quiet, never really talked about anything. Martin himself was also allegedly a supporter. However, a text message uncovered by the outlet showed that Martin may have been influenced by the Department of Justice release of the files related to dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein on February 15th, just a week before he was killed by law enforcement. He texted a co-worker at Pine Needles Lodge in North Carolina about the files. I don't know if you read up on the Epstein files, but evil is real and unmistakable, Martin said. Vinny. I mean, tragedy, but how, like, ignorance in the same breath. What do you, first of all, the president's not even there. It looks like a suicide mission to me. You're showing up to Mar-a-Lago. You know it's heavily guarded with a gas canister and a shotgun. And depending on what kind of ammunition's in the shotgun, if it's buckshot, you're not doing anything but pissing off the person that you're shooting at. If it's a slug, you have to have a really, really good aim. So I don't know where the mindset of something like that was, but for the whole family to be Trump supporters and then to have something like that, what's the end goal? Like, what's the mission? And who's talking to him? I don't think it's just on the Internet and he's just looking on X to find that. In his brain, what is going to kill – what was his objective? Go and do what? The president's at the White House. To go there and do what? I think it's, and again, people, you know, online, listening to what they're listening to, gets weighed a certain way. But to me, like, in all honesty, I'm asking you, Pat, what is he doing with a gas canister and a shotgun? You know you're going to get confronted. The one thing that bothered me is that he got into the inner perimeter, which even though the president's not there, there's no reason anybody should be getting that close. What do you think the objective was? What is he trying to do? With one shotgun, no massive ammunition, no backpacks, shotgun, gas canister. What is he doing? You think he knows the president's not there? I'm almost positive he knows the president's not there. So what do you think he's doing? I don't know. Like, maybe it's a suicide. Like, just like that guy that, I don't know if it was an airman or an army guy, that went in front of the White House or something, put gasoline all over himself, and killed himself in protest of what was happening in Gaza. It's like, are you trying to do a suicide mission to bring awareness? There's so many other ways to bring awareness than going there, and you know you're going to get killed. When you pick up your gun and aim it at a law enforcement officer, you know what's happening. He's not going to kill, well, you're going to kill five of them? No. I think he knows what's going to be happening. So what's the goal? I want to hear more about the mental condition and what happened. Make sure media is going to say, oh, see, completely disappointed, disillusioned with Trump to the point of, you know, going to engage it like that. But your questions, Pat, are the right questions. Those are the questions at the center. If you know Trump's not there, then you know the only people you're going to encounter is the second-level security that is securing dwelling because there are no active targets on – and I hate to say that, but they call them active assets or active targets because they know people are targets. And so, Pat, if he goes there, he knows it's going to be second-level security, and this is what he's going to encounter. And first of all, I thank you for the sheriff that sat there and gave a very transparent and complete report. That is what strong law enforcement reporting for the media and the public sounds like. I'll give you a picture of it so you have it. I'll do this. But he says he then raised the gun at us. What does he think is going to happen? At that moment, that's a suicide. Yep. Adam. Well, it only takes one psycho to change the world. I mean, we saw what happened with Charlie Kirk. We've seen what happens when Trump almost got killed, shot. We've seen what happens with school shooters. It's you're only as strong as your weakest link. Here's this kid that's clearly mentally ill. He drives from North Carolina. Whether he thought the president was there or not is almost irrelevant. He went out of his way to kill himself. So, by the way, how many times have we been to Mar-a-Lago in the last few years? we're lucky enough and I'm grateful enough I've been to Mar-a-Lago I don't know, a dozen times? We've done our events there? Dude, you're not getting past security at Mar-a-Lago. At all. Much less if we're going to go to the White House or anything. You're not getting there. Butler, PA, that's a whole other story. But this kid thinks he's going to show up and do what? So I'm so grateful that we've become tight with the Trump administration. They invite us there. We've done our events there. I know we're doing another event in Miami sometime soon. Dude, you're showing up and you think that you're going to do what? So to me, this kid is irrelevant. It's sort of he's an embodiment of what's going on, that these weirdo kids. Next thing you know, he's going to find out he's a trans shooter. God forbid we bring that up. They think that they're going to take vigilante justice into their own hands and change the world, whether it's school shooter, whether it's Charlie Kirk, whether it's any of these characters. hopefully they're killed before it ever becomes an issue. Because the fact that he got how close? Inner perimeter. Inner perimeter, wherever the hell that means. That's very close. You know, it's by the house. So thank God everything's okay. Thank God everybody's okay. But it only takes one idiot to change the course of history, which you almost learned. It is very weird. And by the way, yesterday I was talking to a couple parents about what young boys need. And I said there's five things young boys need. They need a present father, the right belief system sold to them. You need high standards. You need friction, and you need fun. You need friction to be able to know that life's going to be tough. And over the weekend, I saw a video, an interview with Anthony Hopkins. Anthony Hopkins, one of my favorite actors of all time. The guy was in Shadowlands. He was in, I think it's called Shadowlands. He was in Silence of the Lambs. He's been on so many, The Fracture. He's been on so many things. But in this interview, he just came out with a book a few months back, and this interviewer is asking him about his daughter. His daughter is 58 years old. They haven't seen each other for 20-plus years. Oh, wow. And she does not want to see him. And you have to see how uncomfortable he gets. And then I want you to hear his answer. Then I'm going to come back to you guys. Then I want to show you a video clip of a son and a father talking to each other. This son is now 32 years old, but let's watch this clip first. here's Anthony Hopkins being asked about his estranged from his daughter. Go ahead, Ron. I know what you're going to talk about. My domestic life. Yes. No. No. Even though it's in the book. No. It's done. Can I ask a general question that's not specifically about the material in the book? No. It's about the... I'll stumble through this. Part of the reason that the material in the book about your relationship with your daughter, your estranged relationship with your daughter, part of the reason why I found it so painful is that it resonated with me for personal reasons. I've seen my father, I think, twice in 20 years. I've spoken to him once in those 20 years. And I'm very curious about other people's experience of that kind of estrangement. In this instance, the estrangement is my choice. But I just wonder if you have thoughts about where reconciliation might lie between estranged parents and children. my wife Stella sent an invitation to come and see us not a word of response so I think okay fine I wish her well but I'm not going to waste blood over that if you want to waste your life being in resentment 50 years later, 58 years later fine, go ahead it's not in my ken see, I could carry resentment over the past this and the other but that's death you're not living you have to acknowledge one thing that we are imperfect we're not saints with all sinners and saints or whatever we are. We do the best we can. Life is painful. Sometimes people get hurt. Sometimes we get hurt. But you can't live like that. You have to say, get over it. And if you can't get over it, fine. Good luck to you. But I have no judgment. Would you do what I could? So that's it. would do you hope that's all I want to say do you hope your daughter reads the book I'm not going to answer that no I don't care um I'll move on please I want you to because I don't want to hurt her I understand I don't want to I don't want to make any no 20 years the offer was made but fine onwards what do you think that's tough man what do you think i mean i'm sure like what what did he did they say what he what happened for something like that to occur why why the estrangement is there any like fallout did we was it because of his acting was it because of an action what did he do because i mean that but i could i could feel the pain in the uh in the interviewers uh thing because mind you i don't have any kids, but I can only imagine what that must feel like is something that came from you. You can't communicate with that person. I lost my dad when I was 19. And Pat, we talked about this. I couldn't see. My mom's still alive. I love her to death. I couldn't see a moment or a scenario happening where I know that he's walking around and I wouldn't be able to talk to him or be around him, even though whatever he put us through. And remember, you asked me, Pat, I think a month ago, You're like, Vinny, not less than a month ago, we're eating dinner. And you're like, if you had three wishes, what would one of them be? And I told you, five minutes with my dad. Give me five minutes. So when I see people like that, it hurts because I'm like, you can see the pain. He doesn't want to talk to me. He's fighting it. He's fighting it. He's fighting it. You gave this person everything. You've nurtured this person. You gave them a life. They're 58 years old. They're an active, you know, contributing person in society. and you can't get them to be with you or even communicate with you. And it's like, man, that's a struggle I can only imagine. I can only imagine with everything that I've seen with you do, with Tico, with Dylan, with Senna, with Brookie. It would drive, Pat, if I found out one day Tico doesn't want to talk to you and it's just because in his mind or a scenario happened in his head, he doesn't want to talk to you. It would crush me knowing how horrible, horrible you would feel because of everything that you've done and the lessons and everything with the video that you put on Instagram. The work and all the stuff that you put in. So I'd be curious to find out what happened. It's none of my business, but I mean, if he's saying it's in the book, but it's soul crushing. It's soul crushing. And I could see it in his face. I could see it in his face. So, yeah. Yeah, it's tough, man. In this article, this is him and Abigail did a movie together called Shadowlands, which I think is a story of C.S. Lewis, which is worth watching if you haven't seen it. And he was an alcoholic. He talks about it in his new book as well. He married his first wife, I believe, in 1967, and they had her. It's the only child he's ever had. And when they ask what happened and why he was hurt, because if you go a little bit lower, there's a picture of the two together smiling. That's his daughter right there. So she was an extra. She had some kind of a small role in the movie. Go a little bit lower, Rob. So he says they fought frequently. Hopkins explained that points of context. Rob, can you see if they said they fought frequently? Is that his daughter or is that about his ex? Go a little bit higher to see if it's talking about his daughter or his ex. By the time we realized how awful of a match we were, Barker was pregnant and we tried to rally for the sake of the child we were about to have, but it was no use. The marriage was a disaster. So he's talking about his wife. Go a little bit lower. and then he says they fought for him. Hopkins explained that points of contention included his alcoholism and Barker's resentment over his career. One night when he returned home from working on a location in Scotland, Barker greeted him with sarcasm and called him a Sir Lord High and Mighty. I have never been physically violent, but in that moment I was filled with such revulsion that I became afraid for myself and her. And at that exact moment, Hopkins decided to leave for good and went to see his 14-month-old daughter in a room. I looked down at her and whispered goodbye. He writes, then I walked back to the hall, picked up my suitcase, and left the house. Go a little bit low, Rob. Aside from sending financial support, I didn't have contact with Petronella and Abigail for a few years after that. It is the saddest fact of my life and my greatest regret, and yet I feel absolutely sure that it would have been much worse for everyone had I stayed. And I don't know their religious beliefs, Pat, but a horrible, horrible situation. I don't know if she's a Christian. I don't know if he's a practicing Christian. The attitude that he has, which I think is beautiful that I miss, is we're all sinners. We're far, far, far, far from perfect. By the way, I don't act. I'm trying to be the best Christian that I can. I try to walk in the path. I sin. I stumble all the time. He's at least saying, as a man, I messed up. We're all going to mess up. that's what this life is about. You are the furthest thing from what Christ acts, but we're trying to walk in the footsteps. And again, if she was a real, I don't know who she is, I don't know nothing about her except for what you guys wrote. If she was a real practicing Christian, that's forgiveness, which is one of the hardest things. Praying for your enemies is number one for me, which is so difficult, but I do it. And then forgiveness, knowing that we fall short of the grace of God, but he gives us that moment to say, listen, you're going to fail. You're imperfect. And if you accept that, then that relationship could be a lot different. Because if that was me and I was a daughter and I was a real legitimate practicing Christian, I'd say, Dad, you know what? I love you. I forgive you. I'm not going to forget anything that you did, leaving me at 14 months old. But I do forgive you. Adam. Whoa. I'll try to not cry like Vinny, but it might be tough. But I'll say this. I'm respectful and jealous of the relationship you have with your dad because I see the relationship you have with your dad, and I just didn't have that relationship at all with my dad. I had the opposite relationship with Vinny where you said you want to spend five more minutes. I said I can't spend five more minutes with this guy. I tried and tried and tried to work out this relationship with my dad, and at the end of the day, like, I just had to block him from my life. And it was the first time that I was able to like press block on my phone after considering it. And he died less than a month later. And I had all these crazy voicemails on my phone. It was it was tough. But when you deal with challenges in your life, it only makes you better. Like if you see poor people, they get motivated. But I'm not going to be poor. It's not going to happen when someone says you can't do so. Yes, I can. So for me, I had such a contentious relationship. my father, I'm like, I'm going to have the best relationship with kids. I was a camp counselor. I was a school teacher. All my best friends have kids. I'm like the fun uncle. I've taken a massive role in my nephew's life, especially since my sister got divorced. So I'm going to be the best possible uncle, father leader. And obviously I'm going through that vetting system right now with my girl, but it's not easy. You know, you said these are the five things that every young man need. You said, what is a father? A belief system. A belief system. A belief system. Standards. High standards. Friction. Friction. Fun. And fun. So, and I wrote it down because it's so true. And I wish that more people, that more men had that active role with their kids. I mean, you know, the one movie that you not encouraged us to see, you made us see, was The Judge. And Robert Duvall, I want to say, passed away last week. And that, the relationship they had with their Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall. That was tough. I think he had to come back after being estranged for decades and represent his father that was accused of murder. And was this the movie? And he said, where were you? Was that this movie? That's Johnny Cash. Gotcha. But same concept. Both of them. But in that scene, there's also where were you. Oh, she wanted you. Your mother just wanted to see you. Why don't you come? Yeah. So it's tough out there. And we've seen the stats about, you know, the best outcome for a kid. is to have a two-parent household, a nuclear family. But then when you take away the father, the stats plummet. But when you take away the mother and it's a single father, the stats stay the same. And I'm not discounting what single mothers do because God knows we have that massive problem in this country. But the father's role in the life is the most important thing. The last thing is this. I have friends on the opposite side of things, guys my age, that have gone through a divorce. and I've seen the women that hold the kids hostage from my buddies. And I wish it was an equal footing type of thing, but men have to know what they're getting themselves into in the legal system because they're always going to side with the mother, whether that's alimony, whether that's child support. So be very careful who you have kids with. Go through the vetting system. I know you talk about the 101 questions to ask before you get engaged, but this life thing that we're all trying to do, nobody has all the answers. But I want to show you this. I want to show you this, Rob. Can you go to this other clip I sent you? Because, Vinny, I want you to see this. These two go hand in hand. Here's a guy that is sitting with his dad, okay? And this guy is a father now himself. He's got a son himself. And he is trying to tell exactly how he feels about his dad and the most respectful. And he is so sincere in this clip. Very emotional. Rob, go ahead and play the clip. I waited for you. I waited every weekend and you never showed up. And he always told me. He always said that you would. And I love him. I love him. You know, we never had this talk. Maybe it's 33 years right here. That's what this is. Yeah, you told me that you would come, Daddy. You never did. You told me that you was going to pick me up. And I waited and I look at my son and I think about what my son means to me. And I can never make him sit on a curb. And I don't say this to make you feel bad. I don't. I really love you. This is not the beat you up show. This is the here we are. We're going to rejoice. So let me get it out. you like me we're the same i know you love to talk and i love the soccer and i've been talking and talking but let me keep talking and let me say i was that little boy and he told me you would come and you promise you promise you know i'm a man of my word today because you aren't wow wow wow that's a really famous rapper what was it that logic right there logic that's that logic i never saw that one of the greatest rappers white black whatever he's like that really logic m&m rapper level yeah that guy's nasty wow i didn't know that i didn't know that was logic yeah i didn't so mid interview i go wait a minute i saw the tattoos what do you think about that what do you think about a son being that vulnerable with his father for not being there the pain the emotion i could never do that to my son and staying like i would never have them be on the curb and sitting wait because guess what he right when he said that i knew that he was sitting on the curb as a kid like where's my dad oh man well this is what i talked about where you know if you're poor you're going to have that motivation right he learned from his father he said i'm not i'm going to be present for my kids because you weren't present for me so it comes down to this one thing you don't have to have that generational curse in your family you can be the person that stops the curse. Whether that's money, whether that's education, whether that's fatherhood, whether that's anything in life, you can be the person that makes the difference. So shout out to him for being the best version of himself. Tom, you know, there's a reason that the Lord tells us, don't let the sun go down in your anger. And there's a reason that when Christ talked about all the characters of humanness, he said, but the greatest of these is love. And there's two simple truths about kids. Who is in their ear is always important. Kids, other parents, who is in your kid's ear, number one. And number two, they're watching. They're watching you. when people get divorced and suddenly leave they don't walk out on the spouse or walking out on the kid because that's what the kid believes kids inherently believe it's not my fault i'm here and your fight's not my fight uh adults and counseling um help people unpack these woundings where you come later in life and you say, my parents got divorced. That wasn't, it says, it hurt me and I was innocent. And my dad tried to say, you don't understand, you had to live with my mom. You don't understand, you just have to live with your dad. Parents don't leave each other, they leave kids. And it is the power of faith in the Holy Spirit that gets you to a place where you can forgive. but not letting the sun go down on your anger and finding the love for those around you. Logic was giving his dad a gift there, the gift of transparency and the pain so that they could work from here. And I don't know what happened with Anthony Hopkins' daughter, but he admitted he came into a kid and he said goodbye. The kid wasn't in the fight. The fight was the mom and Hopkins. I don't know the situation. I don't know the other facts. But you see it all the time where kids just draw a line. And the line is not a line of rejection typically. It's a line of protection. If people say, that hurt me so bad, I'm going to put up a wall here because I won't be hurt again. Other times the kids are just putting up a line of anger. Says, you've hurt me and I'm never going to let you close to me. But all of it, it's human tragedy. It's all human tragedy. And regardless how deep you go or how far you go, there's always a way out. And the way out is that Jesus Christ can heal. Even if the parent is never to be seen again or has passed away, he can heal the bitterness in our hearts and give us a way forward. And for those who are awake and are available and are here, be careful who's in your kids eyes and be objective about who you are and what you portray because they're watching that's great you know and i would tell you humiliation public laws causes people to run and get away from things sometimes a father's just not that present because you know the the wife embarrassment the undermining any of that stuff it's nasty it's one thing that the kid just wants man he just wants you around that's what he wants he just wants you around he wants you to say i believe in your son he wants you to say you know challenge him to do a little bit better he wants you to give him the gift of time quality time words positive affirmations and those are things that we can do it doesn't require money you know and no matter how much money or how little money you got i remember my dad had nothing when we would go and we would eat at a burger king we would eat because he could afford a whopper and it was working at a 99 cent store and i would go the days that he had me when i would see him every other week and we'd go to the 99 cent he would make me a little sandwich and we would sit there and listen to uh uh uh you know persian music that he's playing nasleman nasle to nasle I mean, we would just listen to the song over and over again at Westwood or, you know, Inglewood. And I would remember these moments. So you don't need all the money in the world to give your kids what they want. It isn't just money. They want words. They want belief. They want encouragement. They want playtime. And they want you to know you believe in them. Because society today isn't saying that a lot. And if the wrong person tells your kids they believe in them and they're the first to do so, typically their philosophy and ideology will be imposed on your kids. Do not be the last person that tells your kids I believe in them. Be the first. Never be the last one. Never be the one that doesn't do it. Start off, when you get off today's podcast and whatever you're doing for the people that are still watching, call your kids today, make it an assignment, write them a note, tell them how much you believe in them and why.
