That's right. welcome to the tmz podcast i am devin raw usually here and today here with branson hey what's up i know you're expecting someone in for charlie today that's fantastic great good looking but unfortunately we got you unfortunately hey you're supposed to support no i know you're you're actually well we're here to tease your your afternoon podcast oh okay there we go and you're wrestling podcast and all the other things that you do. Obviously, end of an era with Charlie Cotton for now. We're hoping he will pop in from time to time, and once he gets settled over in D.C., we'll figure all that out. But for the time being, I'm stuck with Branson. But don't worry. It's not going to be me every day. We do have someone very TMZ coming in tomorrow. I'm not going to say who it is, but you know her. You've seen her on the TV show. if you watch it she's very vocal yes she's great um so she will she couldn't make it this morning uh some last minute meetings but uh we will figure out a more uh regular schedule shortly um so what you guys are here for um we got some good stories today uh as always uh top of the list secret lives of mormon wives a lot of updates uh taylor and dakota were in court yesterday We'll get into a little of that as far as what ended up happening in court. And it looks like the show's going to come back. Yeah, I mean, are you excited about that? I hated the show. I didn't like it either. So I really could care less, but I think a lot of people are interested. It is interesting just because we'll get into all that. Yeah, there's a lot of drama in that show, and I get it. I understand why people like it. Oh, for sure. Once you turn it on, it's hard to turn it off. For sure. And then secondly, we got Anthony Anderson, comedian, very funny guy. And we asked him about what his take was on us going to the moon. Yeah. Which I'm also very passionate about. So I'm interested. I know what he says, but I have not heard it. I'm interested to see where your take is on this. And I'm also interested to see where your guys' take is on us going to the moon. So get ready for that. Yeah. So that'll be a very heated debate, I'm sure. Right. And lastly, congratulations to Aubrey Plaza. Pregnant. At the very end. We will get into all that. And yeah, congrats, Aubrey Plaza. I think kind of came as a shock yesterday, but also not. Right. She is dating somebody. It's been longer than we think. Time goes by quickly. Yeah, so we will get into that. So for starters, let's get into everyone's favorite topic of the month, the Mormon wives. So the whole show or this whole thing, you know, started when it leaked. Essentially, I think we actually were the ones who broke the story that they had paused filming on Mormon wives because the of all the cast members had banded together and basically said, we're not going to film the rest of the season because of all this domestic stuff that's going on between Taylor and prior to the video coming out. Prior to the video coming out. Prior to her. Yeah. Prior to her. This was like the writing on the wall moment. So we got a ton of sources obviously now who in that world who are saying that filming could resume in a matter of weeks. I love this detail, but delays could disrupt their summer plans. So they don't want their summers to be ruined and they want to get moving on production so they can wrap this season and get on with their summers. I mean, these people do have families. Wait, wait, wait, but summer plans. People plan summer vacations. I get it, but do they all have families? I, some of them do, some of them do not. Cause if you don't, and you're talking about summer plans, like who has summer plans as a couple nowadays? Like, do you have summer plans or you just work all the time? Yeah. I mean, I, I, so sorry to them. I haven't had like, well, I do plan summer vacations, but I haven't like then been like, oh, it's my summer since probably like high school or maybe college. Yeah. It was the last time I was like, oh, it's summer. Like I get like a few months off. I can just like do nothing. But yeah, apparently the cast believes that all their concerns of their whole reasoning behind pausing production has been resolved. Obviously, they met in court yesterday. To me, I mean, Dakota's team was blasting Taylor, basically saying, you know, that Taylor's trying to assassinate his character and all the stuff she, you know, was said at the court hearing. very far from over i think the biggest takeaway that i saw was taylor only gets eight hours of supervised parental time with their son a week which does not seem like very much time it can be split up between two hours three hours but it has to be supervised i mean like can you imagine you have to have supervised i mean i time with your kid i mean it's tough but i did you see the video so i get it i get it yeah i can't imagine you know so and hey i will say too taylor is not shying away from social media by the way. Oh yeah, I mean didn't she announce she left the church? She's posting, she's responding to comments. But she's basically an influencer. She's an influencer but like she says that she has, she responded to somebody saying I have to work, I have to work, like what do you want me to do? Just stare at the wall But what I wondering is who is still sponsoring her after this What do you mean you saying you saying like her influencer sponsors to work i get it but like who paying her i mean there's got to be there's got to be certain brands that might stand by her i mean i i would imagine she's still uh i don't know i haven't seen the contract but regardless of the the bachelorette coming out like she still is i think going to get money from that she filmed it she i don't think she's going to be on mormon wives anymore so i don't know if she'll get any money from that but um yeah i mean she's obviously five she's claiming dakota is the abusive one in this really and she's still standing by this so obviously i think they have court um april 30th oh so the end of the month if you didn't know he he claimed that there was an incident in february a couple incidents where where she attacked him uh as of late february and and now he's come back or she's come back and said that no he was the he's the aggressor saying that he actually slammed her head on the car dash um and when he tried to have sex with her after that made advances towards her and i saw said no yeah they're in a called the police allegedly they're in a very toxic relationship obviously have you seen the show like the the type of people that they are on the show i've seen the first few episodes and and it's they're very messy and i felt like the second i saw the show i was like these people are saying or doing anything to like cause drama and be famous and it worked and then yeah but now it's kind of backfiring i'm just very excited for the next bachelor you know i just want a clean bachelor season you know give me like uh like a colton underwood type cassie randolph give me somebody just normal guys let us know are you gonna watch the bachelor when it comes around again should it be canceled you you really are a bachelor super fan. Love The Bachelor. Dude, like, me and my buddies used to sit in our house every Tuesday and eat pizza, watching all these chicks just mauling over this dude, you know, but we don't watch The Bachelorette because we're not trying to watch a bunch of dudes take their shirts off. You guys are too cool for that. Obviously, you guys are way too cool. Have you seen the Mince McMahon gif where he's like Yeah, is that from the documentary? Yeah, from the... Is this you trying to plug your wrestling pod? No, no, I'm not plugging the wrestling pod, okay? Alright, alright. But yes, I am familiar with the meme. I'm not a wrestling fan. I just don't want it to be canceled. I think we can revive it. We can revive it. Yeah, we'll see. They got a lot of fans. I'm sure it's a successful franchise. It'll go on. Anthony Anderson. We got him at LAX, correct? Yeah, he's not happy though. Charlie obviously was not there, but I believe I'm sure it was Jake, right, who got Anthony. I mean, one of the biggest topics right now going is, you know, we sent Artemis. Artemis 2. To the moon. A round trip, around the moon, getting all these visuals. Nine day trip. Yeah. So we asked Anthony what he thought about it. And this is what he said. America has sent a ship around the moon, right? We made it. We're back on the other side. We're coming back. A spaceship. A spaceship. Okay. You said ship. I didn't know if it meant luxury liner or not. Okay. A spaceship. We got a spaceship going around the universe right now. It's coming back. This is marks the longest the farthest man has flown. Yeah, but I'm wondering like from just regular Regular people perspective. Do people actually care? Me personally not really I hear something like How much money it costs us just to turn the block Around the moon for no other purpose other than to say that you know we sent four people further in the space than anybody else has. It really doesn't make any sense to me. When we look at the grand scheme of things about what we need here and at home for society. A hundred percent. You know, I still drive around, I still see homelessness, you know, I still see dilapidated buildings in the inner city. I still see programs that need funding that can't get funding that actually help people and things like that. to spend this type of money just to circle a place that we've only gone to once in the last 60 years or so and not have anything and not do anything what's it all for i i mean he's not happy with it i couldn't agree more i you're you're a space guy right i love no like i'm not just like i love space and all like this is this is a bigger picture thing is it you can say okay i looked it up by the way it's four billion dollars for this current mission yeah Yeah, that's a lot. That's a lot of money. It's a part of a program. So it's a whole program. There's going to be Artemis 1 through 4. 4 is the landing. There's going to be an Artemis 3 where it's going to do some more in space a little bit too. Awesome. It's going to be $90 billion total. Oh, perfect. For the whole program. Have you seen gas prices recently? I have an EV, so I don't really know. Oh, okay. Cool guy. This is my take on it, and I couldn't agree more. I was thinking about this the other day. Astronauts nowadays, they're space influencers. They go up there. They take selfies. people are like, oh, look how cool the moon is. Have you seen, I'm sure you're amazed by the photos and videos. I am. What are different about those than other photos you've seen of the Earth, besides them maybe being in better quality? So here's the thing. So fun fact, Artemis 1, Artie kind of did this. It went to the moon. Did you just say Artie? Artemis. Yeah, but did you call him Artie? Sorry, Artemis. Okay. There you go, Artemis. Okay. They Artie went over there and they got pictures of the moon. not the exact trajectory, but they got this stuff. I get it. They've already done it, but this point was to send humans to test the ship because they're going to be landing on the moon, so they're going to have to test everything. Which we've done already. No we have not done it We have not done it We landed on the moon We have not sent a capsule that big enough to put humans inside yet I thought we landed on the moon before We did but that a whole different ship You know that famous photo with the flag That's Apollo. That's a whole different ship. Have you been to the Space Museum in Smithsonian? Dude, do you think I've been to the Space Museum? You haven't? No. Hell no. You guys are researching for it. Yeah, clearly. So this is different. All this tech is different. To land a ship on the freaking moon. Okay, and what is their ultimate goal? So their ultimate goal is to put humans on the moon and further science- Again, so to his point, it's literally just to be like, hey, we did something. Dude, we have a lot of problems going on in this country right now. But get this. Yeah, they spent $4 billion on it. You really thought that money was gonna go to the gas prices or anything like that? No, but I would hope it would go to something more than like, cool guys, look at this photo of the moon. No, no, this is what we need to do. This is bigger picture. Human beings need to do this because in 100 years from now, when we have to get out, do whatever it is- I'm not concerned about 100 years. Well, then you, so you care about the current people. Yeah, I do a lot. But what about the children's, children's, children? We'll get, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. A moon landing is a moon landing. I get it. But it's, it's a broader picture than that. We're going to try and go to, we're going to try and go to Mars. Space travel is very cruel. Wait, I thought he, I thought Elon Musk said we were going to Mars and now he's like backpedaling and saying it's not possible. It's all a waste of fucking time. Don't trust Elon. Just trust, trust NASA, man. Just trust it. All right, well. I completely agree. I think it's cool. Have you been on a plane and been like, this is awesome? Like, how did we get here? Like, think about that. People probably thought that like what? Like 50, 60 years ago? I think we need to be impressed with humankind and what we are capable of doing. I just want them. Because if one day we could travel by light speed. I still haven't had someone tell me like, hey, this is a legitimate reason we're going on this trip. Other than to be like, yeah, no one's ever gone that far. No one's ever gone to the moon. I'm going to ask you a question. What's the point of anything? that's a pretty deep question genuinely what is like if we don't care about this why should I care about this why should I care about I don't know it can go any way yeah I get what you're saying but also should we not care more about like human life now and like and the vulnerability because we have to live our lives I know but why now we're just getting way too deep I gotta move on this guy's freaking breaking my brain next thing are you gonna be like Like, well, what's the whole point of it all? Like, where do we go after we die? Yeah, exactly. Busy routines can make it hard to focus on your health goals, but MedExpress offers a simple way to explore weight management treatment online. Yeah, that's the reason you're not going to the moon. You think my skills are not there? That's another take I have. I don't want to shade astronauts, but everyone's like, oh, you're an astronaut. They know how to buckle a seat, though, and sit in a seat? Can you imagine going to sleep and waking up and you look outside like, oh, I'm still in space right now. And you're as far as humans can ever go. Are you is your mind blown when you fall asleep on a plane and are like oh my god, I'm in New York now Yeah, I think it's pretty awesome. I I think I get home. I go wow yesterday I was in Chicago like my feet were standing in Chicago and now I'm across the country. It's amazing That's a cool thing and now we can go to the freaking other planets one day. We're gonna go to Pluto when they were gonna go I thought Pluto's not a plan. Have you seen interstellar? I hate I fell asleep. Oh, I don't like space I don't like space. I do need to watch Project Hail Mary with, with, what's his name? So, let's get back to the celebrities after that. Way more important. Aubrey Plaza comes out, it comes out yesterday. She's pregnant. Yeah. Why is people always the ones to report pregnant? Because from my, they have a team over there, just pregnancy department. No, it's a lot because they, they, they handle it. It's more of like their branding. And I think celebrities and, and reps and such like going with them because it's very like, you know, fluffy, that type of coverage. Yeah. It's very, they pay a lot of money for, well, no, they do the, they do the photo shoots. And so they get a lot of the, the pregnancies and they get a lot of the like wedding stuff. But, but, but by the way, you know, this is this, the controversial part about this is that it's, it's not been that long, which is, which is why. And you're asking me why people got this. That's why, because I didn't read the people article, but I, so I don't know exactly how they wrote it, but a lot of people, obviously the first thought was I actually did, wasn super familiar that she was dating someone Chris Abbott Yeah So I guess she has a partner Chris Abbott Um the babies do this year fall of 2026 No they did not say what the gender is But I guess she was spotted with a baby bump at Paris Fashion Week, which was probably why the news now is coming out because she was spotted in public. And yeah, so the reason I was alluding to is that she was previously married to Jeff Baena. They had separated. He tragically died by suicide. Really, really tragic, sad story. So, yeah, I mean, they were separated before they were separated before that happened, but they were still in communication. Obviously, they were married. Right. Well, Chris and Aubrey, they worked on a film together, Black Bear and Broadway play as well. I just looked at his resume. Got it. So he they were like co-workers and clearly have known each other for some time. He's done a few things. I mean, he's not that big of an actor. I mean, honestly, that's a cool thing for him. You know, Aubrey Plaza is a huge actress. For sure. And I always think it's funny when, like, a smaller actor gets with, like, a massive actor. Yeah, I mean, that's been happening a lot, I feel like, recently. You'd always feel, like, kind of less than. Yeah. That says a lot about you, man. I'm just saying. I'd be happy to marry someone way more successful than me. Whenever these guys are, like, feeling like, oh, you're not, like, the alpha, it's like, dude, why would you not want to be married to someone who's super successful? I love ambition. Okay. You love ambition too, right? I wouldn't say, I would say I'm pretty ambitious, but. Are you the Aubrey Plaza in your relationship? Oh, absolutely not. Are you kidding? Me on TV every day. Yeah, I mean, but I'm not the successful. I feel like we forget that. You're on TV every day and you just go home like nothing happened. I know. It's a cool thing. Yeah, it is kind of cool when you look at it. I thought it was cool like the first like couple months that I was working here. It's kind of faded in time. Yeah. Hey, man. But the I mean, the big talking point, though, with this story, not to get like too but like too dark about it. But like I think a lot of people are like, oh, well, like how soon should you move on kind of thing? Because I don't know. Do you guys know when did he pass away? Was it two years ago? I will find out. And my take on this has always been like, dude, it's everyone's different. Everyone handles grief differently. Everyone's timeline is differently. Like who is anyone to judge someone for when and how they move on after someone passes away? January 2025 by suicide. Yeah, so a year ago. A little over a year. That's pretty short. It is short. But remember, they were also separated before this happened. So they were already splitting. So who knows how long before he passed away they were actually separated. but also it's like my and so that that completely changes it but like me and my wife have had this conversation i have two very different sides of it if i pass away i would be like dude move on like totally like i'm dead and i and i guess but and no seriously but she has a different take of like she wouldn't want me to move on how about this you die okay yeah i'm not trying to be sensitive here i'm saying you passed away okay and and you're like make sure you move on a month later your wife is already i'm somebody else i'm dead let's let's say you're out there and you see it you're like some part of you is like all right come on you could have waited a month i guess i would like i would i would like it to be like around a year until you date again but i but like i wouldn't feel any see it's in you i wouldn't feel any sort of way it's in you you're dead I'm like move on you have a whole life to live in like do you just want to be lonely or do you want to like get out there and find someone else or date people do you want to be cremated yeah for sure I want to be spread in the ocean really which one Indian Ocean or Atlantic why the Indian what the hell I want to be the biggest one the Pacific I want to be the ashes that find somewhere off the island of Kauai I want to say what I was going to say it's going to be so awful yeah this is a very dark ending I was going to say I want to be never mind I'm not even going to say okay well we hopefully will not have Branson here tomorrow. But if we do. We will because afternoon is every single day. Oh, yeah, that's true. At 2 p.m. And you can also see him where? On Inside the Ring. Yeah, okay, cool. Wrestling podcast, WWE. Charlie, we miss you. See you soon, buddy. Let's get to the comments. Oh, we got comments. Dude, we were going. We used to work hard on these comments, man. Mormon Wise, let me go through these pretty quickly. Western Burbs, Kristen, I hope they give them a taste of their own medicine and put them on a hard pause. They wasted three weeks of production. It costed millions. I don't think they've costed millions. They did this for optics, and now they're like, Okay, ready to be famous again. Yeah, and I don't want you guys to ruin my vacation. Are they really famous, though? Who gives up? Yeah, some of them are. Haley Kay, continue the show. Just continue it without Taylor. Yeah, I don't think she is going back on Mormon Wives, if I understand correctly. I think she should, because this is the type of show that- Yeah, 100% should bring her back. Only show that would allow someone like this to come back. Totally. If Mormon Wives were to come back, are you tuning in? Whole? I would say, oh, no is 62, yes, 38. I think everyone who watched the show will obviously return, and I guarantee you a ton of other people who now know about this show and this drama will also watch. Is that our comments? Yeah, we had a long show today. I mean, you went on and on about freaking space. By the time you were done, the aircraft had landed back in the United States. No, no, no, no, no. Still got a couple more days. April 10th, splashdown in San Diego. I'm going to try and go watch the splashdown. I'm going to rent a boat, and I'm going to go out there, okay? A little grickety boat. Are you serious? Yeah, and then I might get captured by like Somali. Oh my God. All righty. Well, we are out. Mystery Charlie. Yeah, Charlie is... Again, if you're joining... Best of luck. Charlie is now moving across the country for a new venture with TMZ and DC, and we are here. Got a new place for you tomorrow. Yep. All right. I'll see you guys tomorrow. See you later. Bye.
