Pardon My Take covers Super Bowl LX preview with interviews from 49ers linebacker Fred Warner and Seahawks receiver Jake Bobo, discussing game strategy, injury updates, and prop bets. The hosts also analyze NBA trade deadline moves and debate Patriots vs. Seahawks matchup odds.
Insights
- Undrafted receivers can become Super Bowl contributors through blocking excellence and situational opportunity (Jake Bobo's NFC Championship TD catch with 3 catches all season)
- Coaching culture and scheme innovation matter more than roster talent alone—Mike McDonald's defensive schemes and Kyle Shanahan's offensive system create competitive advantages despite injuries
- Low ankle sprains in Super Bowl week are manageable with medical support, but mental confidence in recovery is equally critical to physical rehabilitation
- Defensive edge-setting and hard-contact fundamentals are the primary defensive keys against zone-running schemes like those used by both Seahawks and 49ers
- Imposter syndrome persists even for elite NFL players; sustained performance over time builds credibility more than single-game performances

I've gotten the usual stuff, read more, maybe workout, maybe stop ordering food like I'm feeding a family of four. This is my real goal this year. Get comfy. And that's where Bombas comes in. I've been wearing the all new Bombas sports socks and I swear they're the only reason I'm even attempting to run again. They're cushioned in the right spots, sweat wicking, super breathable. The crown is yours today is Friday, February 6th. The end of Super Bowl week. Yep, we're going to get into the game preview Hank. I well, no, every time I ask this, it always goes sideways. How are you feeling? But we should talk all the other stuff. NBA trade deadline, everything. But I do want to ask how you're feeling. I feel great. I feel awesome. How are you feeling? I feel tired and ready to go home. I'm sorry to hear that. I feel I feel fantastic. I'm ready to go. Is that not a no-can answer? No, it is. Yeah, I feel I'm sorry for you. How excited are you for us to leave? So I'm going to miss you guys. How excited are you for me to leave? I'm going to miss you a lot. I mean, you look good. We've had such a good week. Like I think I've, you know, it's going to feel weird. You were joking about it. I'm going to get sick. We were well, don't talk about that. Firefest, who's not here. Zero out of 10 by Zach for Super Bowl week. It's okay. It's all right. He's sick. I'm slightly concerned about Zach because Zach will not share any, like everything's hippo as far as he goes. Like he just says that he's fine. I asked him the other day when he found out he was sick. I said, when it was the last time you were sick and his answer was like, my fever's basically gone and I haven't thrown up since earlier. Yeah. And then I'm like, wait, define earlier. So then Zach's like, well, it was like an hour ago, like two hours ago. And listen, you always threw up earlier. Yeah, we've all been unless he was mid throwing up during the tax. Yeah. Yeah. Zach is an AI, like I have to do an AI type prompt to him. I do parentheses. Do not lie at the end. Well, he said, I texted because right before recorded, I was like, how are you feeling? He said, I'm great. No symptoms. Just a little congested. Then I walked in the room and you guys were like, he's got 101 degree fever still. Yeah. So he's given conflicting reports. We miss Zach. We love Zach. He will get to him on fire for maybe we'll call him even though he's literally three doors down and locked in his hotel room. But let's do all the other stuff before we get to the big game. Okay. NBA trade deadline. Yeah. Lot of trades. Yeah. All of our teams impacted. No yonness. No yonness. We are going to shom thanks for nothing, dude. This always happens. It's always happens for just all the people that's on the road. All the people that say like nothing ever happens. We always wake up every morning. It doesn't matter if it's like sports news. If it's like world political news, everyone's hairs on fire. Everyone's panicking. And nothing ever happens. Yonness is never going to get traded. Yeah. The trade deadline was a couple big ones like Christopps to the Warriors, Anthony Davis to the wizards. Jared McCain getting traded. The bulls trading for every single second round pick that's ever been created. That's pretty much it. Yeah. How do you feel about it? So the bulls trades, I tried to keep up with them. I have no idea what they're, what is the plan? Do they have a plan? So, all right. So the problem with the bull, well, there's a lot of problems with the bulls. I should say fuck Jerry Reinsorff to just as a blanket statement because a lot of times what will happen is it will be a front office, fuck the front office. But that just basically carries water for Jerry Reinsorff being a piece of shit. And I think he like he publicly says the best thing to do is finish the second place so that the fans will think next year is the year. The bulls traded everyone. They have decided they're going to build the rebuild out of guards and second round picks. They traded everyone when the players were at the worst value, like they've missed time to every single trade. And this is going back to Caruso, Levine, Vouch a couple days ago, IO, Kobe White. They basically were like, hey, what would be the smartest time to trade them? Let's wait a year and then trade them. Yeah. And that's what they've done. They have traded the entire roster essentially, except Patrick Williams, which is very funny. They've traded almost everyone the entire roster in the last two years. They have netted one single first round pick out of it. And the one single first round pick they netted was their own pick that they were getting back. That's where the bulls are at. Maybe they're all Yokeches. They're all these second round picks, 14 of them. But yeah, they have an awesome G league team now that's going to also wear the bulls jersey. Mackle Clung's actually got caught up. I love that. I think we talked about the J.I.V., which is that's like he could be good. He got like very, very bad injury last year that took a lot of his bursts away. Maybe he'll be good. Colin Sexton, that was just swapping pieces. Yabo, Yabo's on the bulls now. He's been passed around by everyone, right? You guys took his contract. Yeah, I know, which that one made no sense. Because at one point, he was like, oh, the bulls are actually doing the right thing. They're tanking. They're not going to make the plan. They're going to clear the books. They're going to take a flyer on a J.I.V., they're going to take a flyer on Anthony Simons. They're going to maybe, you know, these guys are going to be free ages in the summer. They're like, yeah, let's get Yabo and just pay him $7 million because we needed a single big. So yeah, it's a mess. Big ass. Big ass. It is funny looking at all the second round picks. 14 of them. That isn't kind of trade, though, that piss you off the most as a fan. Yeah. I don't even know what this team's going to look like in two years. And I was like, miles, can you convert like two, you know, 14 second round picks for like two firsts? I honestly, like, you have to at least call the box and be like, how about Yada's for 14 second rounders? You got to have them say no. Yeah. The other thing that, like, I don't think they'll make the plan. But if this team fucking makes a plan, I'm going to lose my mind. Like, because it actually does look like they're doing the correct thing of not making the plan, realizing that this team is so far away. But it would be so balls to, because they added the perfect amount of guys that are like, every single guy is, if you just watch his highlight tape, he's a problem. And then you watch him play an actual basketball. They're like, okay, that makes sense that he got traded. But like, Dillingham and Simon's and Jay Nehvi, like, oh, they can all get hot at the same time and get the tendency. If that happens, I will be so upset. Well, all these guys have a lot to play for. They do, like, establishing themselves as NBA players. And that is a very dangerous spot to be in. Yeah. Like, all guys with potential that are extremely motivated could get you to that nine seed. The balls are basically just walking around right now. It's like, you know, when we were kids, PFT, when actual, you know, like having a quarter meant something because you could make a phone call or something like that. Now change, when you have, when you go somewhere, you go to 7-11 and you get 56 cents of change. You're like, what am I going to do with this? That's basically what the balls have in their pocket with their second round picks. They're walking around with 38 cents in change. They have a couple pennies, a dime, a nickel. And you're like, okay, dude. Not broke. Yeah, you could get a very fine juice. You could get a juicy juice for that. You could, if you had a dime, remember when they up the phone call to 35 cents? Yeah. That was a pain in the ass. No, what they should do is they should put it in that little dish that saves like little Mexican kids. Yeah, or whatever it is, isn't it? Like a little, you know, the thing, the slot you put it in and save some kid in some foreign country that you don't know where the money's going? Yeah. You guys know what I'm talking about. That's just good. What do you laugh about me? It goes to 7-11. So, you just referenced it. Am I right? You're right. You know exactly what I'm talking about. A little glass thing with the, there's a flyer on it. And it's like save this person. Yeah, it's a big, okay. For kids. Yeah, it's just kids are getting saved. Yeah, you're just gonna do. That's what the bulls are gonna do. You're gonna collect children. Yeah. Second round picks. Just put them all, go to 7-11, get yourself a nice Pepsi Zero sugar and then put the rest of the second round picks in that little collection jar. Yeah. Done. I'm excited for Anthony Day. Yeah, let's talk about the real trades. I was enough ranting about a team that is completely irrelevant. Yeah. And I'm completely apathetic towards because Jerry Reiser of Is a Piece of Shade. I've just been completely apathetic towards the Wizards for my entire life, about 41 years of my life. There have been flashes when we had Michael Jordan. That was fun. Got to go watch M-play. When we had Gilbert Reenis, that was good for like two years. Then when we had John Wall and, and Beale, that was fun for exactly one season. But the Wizards, I've always said that they are the most irrelevant North American sports franchise. I don't think it's close. And when I mean irrelevant, I mean like if you put a, if you put a list together of the most relevant teams, and you have the Wizards at number one, people will even get mad at that list because they're like, I don't even want to think about the Wizards being on this list. The worst thing that happened to the Wizards, taking the one spot for most relevant franchises is the Phoenix Coyotes going to Utah. Yeah. Is that would have been the only one? That would be the one that you can clap back on. Yeah. But I mean, they had Gretzky as their head coach. They've done some, some, some, I mean, the Wizards, the Wizards are irrelevant. They've always been irrelevant. And now it seems like we're trying to do something. I could see this team being fun next year. It, you know what? Every single analysis I've seen of the Wizards, it always starts like, if they can say healthy, yeah. This is the, and Max, you know how that goes? Yeah. The Wizards are the number one. If they can stay healthy, look out for the Wiz team now. Like Anthony Davis, pairing him up with Tray Young. If he can say healthy, pairing him up with Star, Bob Carrington, Tray Johnson. We've got, we've got actually a fun team next year. So this is like, this is kind of new for me. To be going into an off season where I'm like, I think I'm like, Wiz Curious. I could become, I might be the Wizler next year. Ooh. And this is, this is exciting for me. I'm pumped. Now, obviously Anthony Davis, his time in Dallas, not great, didn't really play that much. And if you look at how that trade went down for him and then what the Wizards gave up, which is two first round picks, three second rounders, Chris Middleton, Malachi Brandham, AJ Johnson, Marvin Bagley, the two first round picks aren't really two first round picks. We didn't give up two first round picks. We gave out one that's protected that we're going to keep. And then there's another one that could end up being like the 30th pick. I want to say it might be the Warriors pick. You know what that is. So we, what? It's close to a second rounder. I might want that. You want to, don't stay in your lane. That's, that's the first round pick. But it's, it's the 31. I want that. They're the most fake first round picks that we gave up for Anthony Davis. So I, I think that this is a great trade for the Wizards. I do. I think this was an absolute fleecing of the Dallas Mavericks. They could, they could maybe win some games. Max, you don't think so? Anthony Davis is going to be 33 next year. But if he stays healthy, but he got hurt every day. He's going to be 30. He's not following me. What do you think he stays healthy? Think about him staying healthy. Yeah, you didn't think about that. I didn't find it. What? What? There's a guy who's going to go to trade young and Anthony Davis, like, oh my god. I mean, Anthony Davis is still a great defender. We've got a great defensive front court. We really do. You're only right now 10 games out of the 10 seats. Yeah. Well, I don't think my guess is Anthony Davis probably not going to play that much this year. Yeah. Try a young, probably not going to play that much this year. And then we'll get a great draft pick, hopefully. Get a good player. It's a good draft, loaded draft coming up. That's why I'm hoping for the Bulls finally will maybe get a little bit better odds. You want to buy stock in a team? I'm buying stock in the Wizards right now. I'm ready to say it. I am, I think I am now a Wizards fan. There you go. I'm thinking Yoffs for sure next year. Yoffs, you can't be Yoffs. Yoffs for sure. I mean, 100% guaranteed. We're going to be better than 5% next year. Makes the Yoffs. Oh, we're counting, we're counting playing. Would you have to count the Yoffs? That's not the Yoffs. I'm playing. You got to make it to the first round. Let me ask you a question. What do they, what do they do first? They do the, the Yoffs to the play. You got it, you can't get to the Yoffs unless you get in the play. That's not the answer. I'm sure at all. That's not the only way. As far as I'm concerned, the only way to get in the playoffs is to win the play. You have to, you have to, I've learned. Get so good that you are above the plan. First, you have to defeat the plan. Then you get in the Yoffs. It's tricky spot. Correct. So you just agreed that I'm going to leapfrog the plan, but the plan does that counts. They don't sleep on the plan. It counts as the Yoffs. I'm saying it does. Max is just going to get killed by 30. Maybe beat the Hawks the first time. Max is just jealous. He thinks he sees now the Wizards is possibly a threat if they stay healthy. Trion is a playing guy. He's a playing hero. Yeah. Hank, do you see the Wizards as a threat? If they say healthy, they're fucking staff. Yeah. Lockstep. They say, Hank. Listen, what PIT is doing? You should, you're allowed to do. It's no different than me saying, what if the 14 second round picks where the bulls are all Nicole Yokech? Yeah, it's fun. Right? But there is a chance that AD stays healthy. Right. If you, you're going to have a chance that you can all 14 picks to come to Nicole Yokech? Right. Correct. AD's never played on a team that's in the Eastern time zone before. Maybe it's just like his biological clock is suited up to be an East Coast guy. Yeah, that's right. The Pelicans are central time. Yeah. So, I mean, Max, you have to admit that like if healthy bubble, that's great call. That was what he wanted. Anyone. Yeah. Great call. Oh, chips. So yeah, it could be awesome. That was a good point. East Coast guy, Max, you should be nervous. Do you have any tips on how I can deal with a big man who is almost certain to be injured over the course of a season? They're still good. Who? And be it an AD. They're both good. Yeah. Do you have any tips? You just got to load management is key. You just got to like, you just got to like, you know, there's no back to backs. You got to sit, let's not happen. OK. And then like, what, what you got to the fourth quarter and you're up by like 15, it's like, all right, make sure, let's get him on the bench. OK, I think it's on the bench. It's also key to have a guy on our team that is maybe more injured than him. That way it's not like, this guy's always hurt. We got another guy that's hurt. It's also maybe practice some karate, learn how to fall. Oh, I like that. You're supposed to fall. Yeah, no, he's never even learned how to fall. Yeah, he did karate. So there's, there's going to be a lot of times where he's where maybe if he falls, people are going to be like, oh my god, he's hurt again. Yeah. You will be able to correct them, be like, no, he actually doesn't on purpose. He's got to get better at falling. Yeah. Now that we're saying this, Anthony Davis is, he's way more joe him, be than joe him, be. Yeah. Anthony Davis gets hurt in every game he's ever played. He gets hurt standing up a lot. He leads the league and go into the tunnel. He leaves the game with the knee injury. Yeah, he's got a lot of... But they always come back. You always think that you just got to know that they're going to come back. He's always, he's really good at coming back into games after you think he's injured. And he might be really tough. He defeats us that too. They are the same guy. We got the same guy. Yeah. But if he stays healthy, look out for the Wiz. Yeah. What do you think about Jeremiah McCain? That was tough. I mean, it's weird. He's your guy. I love Jeremiah McCain. I love Jeremiah McCain. He's the... The thunder. The thunder, which makes it so much worse because the thunder just makes everyone good. It's a good organization. And you always think that press is fleecing you. So it's hard to... It's like the, it's like, on the opposite side of Howie in this trade. Yeah, you got Howie. When you make a trade with Presti, it's like, fuck. I just, that guy knows more than my guy. You got Howie. And now Jared McCain, he's had a really bad year. He's actually gone up and down from the G league. VJ Edgecomb basically took his spot in like the future of the back court. So there wasn't really like a long-term play for him. I would have liked him as a six man. Like he is still a good shooter. And he was, and he was starting to play a lot better in the past couple of weeks. And we didn't get anything. We got, we got the Rockets first round pick, which is gonna be like a 25th pick, which is basically nothing. And we got three second round. It's kind of crazy because Jared McCain, like if you go back to December of last year, that was... It was rookie of the year. Yeah, yeah. He was like... Future face this league. He was by far, he was for sure the rookie of the year. I will be getting to the future face of this league at some point in the show. Please. Do you have it? No, no, no, it's coming though. That's a little teaser. For what? What's some point at some point in the show, I will be bringing up the future face. We're talking about basketball right now. Yup. And then this is the last show before the Super Bowl. So we're probably gonna be heavy on NBA later on in the show too. Yup. Wait, we're okay. Future face this league is gonna be firebuz. I will be bringing up the future face of this league later. Okay, okay, okay. All right, all right. I like that tease. Yeah, that's actually a great tease now, Max. Great tease. Are you gonna land this play? After this. Yeah, I've never done that. That's, yeah, I like that. Yeah, it's coming. The other trade zone. Get ready, everyone else is coming. It's so exciting. All that in order. It's gonna hit him back. It's gonna be like when Diplo has the beat drop. We're all gonna be going, like we need a cannon to go off when he hits the future face. Yeah, future face. Don't do it all right now. Don't say the whole thing. See a prop. Huh? Is there a problem? Don't give it away. Don't get you to know the tease. I asked you too many hard questions. Let us edge us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Hank, we already talked about Vouch. You were happy about that. Yeah. The Cavs traded for James Harden. That happened. We talked about James Harden on Wednesday's show, but then it happened right after. We all saw this coming. Surely this will work out this time. Is this, how many teams is that for James Harden? It's five and six years. Five teams and six years. Woo! Good for him. Man. He's gonna like Cleveland? That seems like a James Harden town. Like I said, I do think we'll have a good playoff game. Yeah, maybe Game of Two. Maybe Game of Two. Game two. Game two, Harden. Yeah. Actually, he should, he would be a really good playing guy. Because all you gotta do is play one game. That's true. He's a one game series. But then if he gets a one game series, is that gonna be his game seven? Yeah, true. Yeah, it kind of is. Yeah. Any other big trades we should talk about, the Kristops won to the Warriors. So Dremond did not get traded. Great interview with Dremond. We appreciate him coming on. Any other ones? I mean, I feel like the Warriors were trying to trade Camingo for the minute they drafted him. Yeah. That's done. I don't know if Chris Paul's on the Raptors, is he gonna... He's not even gonna play that. I don't think he's gonna leave the country. Yeah, that's like the, the, I think my breakdown on Wednesday show for Mike Connelly, the Bulls is on pump, he's gonna come to the office. He was on the Bulls for four hours. Yeah, there's, there's so many, I wonder if he went. Maybe. He might have gone to the office, we're not there. There's so many guys in the NBA that get traded and they become the meme from succession where it's just like, no, I don't think I will. Yeah. Paul's not gonna play on the Raptors. Although I did, the news broke about Chris Paul. We're down the hallway here from Ryan Rassillo. So I went to break the news to Ryan. I knocked on the door, say Chris Paul just got trade to the Raptors and he processed it for a second and he had a great response, which was, I mean, with our two countries right now at each other's throats, what better way than to heal ourselves and make peace than sending Chris Paul as an ambassador. Yeah. So this could be bigger than the game. That's true. This could be, this could be about friendship between two great countries. It's a good point and we should say that the pace was actually made a pretty good trade. Meme says the pace are gonna be a problem. Next year, yeah. Yeah, next year. The pace is probably well. So they got Zubak and would they give up? Mathurin and some picks. Mathurin first round pick next year, but one through four protected, 10 through 30 protected. That's cool. That's this year. Yeah, this year. Yeah, this year. That's some good protections. Yeah, but they're most likely gonna have a top three pick. Yeah. So that was very smart of them. Yeah, it was a big problem. I'm gonna be a problem. Trying to think if there's any other NBA trades. Oh, let me give you a little, let's do a blind resume. You can just say who this person is. Leads the team. He just got traded. Leads the team in Anne Wands this season with 14. So it's one person blind resume. It's one person blind resume. Okay. Some guy leads the team with Anne Wands with 14. Yeah. Kevin Hearder. No. Anti Davis. No. The answer is Colin Sexton, who got traded the bulls because I asked Mikey Betts our good friend is a big time diehard bulls. Thanks every move is good. He's pumped about Colin Sexton because he led the Hornets in Anne Wands this year with 14, which is about one every three games. That was a real thing. He said, that's a great fucking stat. That's advanced stats so you can't get anywhere else. That's like when the Nats did that trade with the Padres and I found one guy that we got and I was like, this guy has the best eyes in Monterly Baseball and double A he had the lowest chase rate of anybody. And I was like, that's good. That's good. You build on it. Never heard from that guy again. Yeah, just run the N1 play. Yeah. War hit threes. Yeah. You can do that. So before we talk about the big game, the other news, Jeff Stoutland. And that was, it's bad. So the offensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles who's been there for 13 years, who when we talked to Lane Johnson, we talked Jason Kelsey, everyone has basically said he is the secret sauce heart and soul. He is the underrated piece of this team. He's the reason why we've been able to run the ball so well and won two super balls. He is not retiring, but he's retiring from the Philadelphia Eagles. Thoughts. Max. Are you gonna cry? I'm just thinking. Yeah, it's okay. It's okay to cry. Stoutland is like the best Eagles coach, I think in my lifetime possibly. Like we have had such consistent success at the offensive line position for so long, without even it being drafting like top of the end guys. Like Lane, Lane was a top, was an early pick, but like Milato was not, Jason Kelsey was not. Like I mean, landed Dickerson was a second round pick. Like we have built through the trenches on the offensive line for so long and it's been the identity of this team. And everyone says that Stoutland is the reason for that. So it's a tough pill to swallow, but it just must mean that Sean, like Sean Manion is apparently running, he wants to run a complete different offense than we were having. I mean, I feel like they could still use. I don't know if that's the best. That's the best. But did you read about how he basically was frozen out by Nick Sireani this year? Oh, well that, yes. That in that Nick Sireani and Kevin Petulo minimized him to a point that he was disrespected and that was the impetus for him leaving. I read that we're running a new style. Yeah, the McVey, the McVey, and the entry which he does, which he did not run that style. But the report was the, I know I saw the, so did you have comment on that? Yeah, Petulo is a terrorist, but Sireani still the head coach. No, the Petulo is a terrorist. Petulo is on a round. He can't hurt you anymore. No sense. Actually, Petulo is still. Oh, he's still in the building. Yeah, I don't know what his role is though. There are no more roles. Yeah, would he get hired like quality control? You got the most. Offensive line coach. Yeah. You need an offensive line coach. Kevin Petulo. Major, he understands the system. Listen, if your system cannot accommodate Jeff Stoutland as your offensive line coach, it might not be a great system. This feels bad. That's not true. That's not true. But it feels, so the initial thing was like, oh, he's retiring. Then you saw the Sean Manion piece that he's going to run different offensive running scheme. But then seeing that it was, they not ran him out, but made it so that he didn't want to be there anymore. That's the bad part. Because that's a guy you don't, you want to, you got to be like, hey, whatever you need, we want to keep you. I agree. I wish he was still there. I don't know what. Is Stoutland the kind of guy that would be like, I will not adjust the way that I work with teams if we're going to be doing like a more of a zone running scheme than I'm used to? I feel like something that he doesn't experience. Yeah, but he's such a good coach. Actually, I saw this is a great tweet from front of the program, Emmanuel Acho. He gave Jeff Stoutland credit for developing all those guys you mentioned, Max, as well as developing Alville and Wavre at offensive line for the Philadelphia Eagles. Alville and Wavre was a Pittsburgh Steeler offensive lineman. He played, I believe, on the defensive line for the Philadelphia Eagles. I thought that was an interesting take. So maybe ran out of town, I don't know. If it makes you feel any better, I saw Jordan Milo out of last night. He's big still. Didn't say anything about that one. I didn't ask him, but he is still a big man. I'm going to guess that he's not happy. Do you not? That's good. Like he didn't, he didn't, he didn't overnight. Like Jeff Stoutland gets fired. There's got to be a concern that I run into Jordan Milo and all of a sudden he's a five six, 125 pound man. Jordan Milo out of his massive human. So that's what I'm saying. He's still massive even post-Soutland. Yeah, even post-Soutland. He has not lost any weight post-Soutland. It was only two hours. Actually, he might have gained weight because it was at dinner. He gained weight post-Soutland. He's in the biggest shape of his life. I first reported by this podcast. We're going to be fine. What about big dom offense line coach? Mm. Big dom's looking for Hank right now. I got some, yeah, Hank, hang on one second. I know where I'm at. I didn't hear what I heard. I'm going to call Ron right now. I also talked to him earlier. I also talked to Ron and Ron said that. Yeah, hang on. Ron, Ron, me, right in a rile up. OK, wait, what do you mean? Oh, yeah, yeah. Ron's, those are Ron's one of my best friends. Well, yeah, he's never turning into an op at a rapid, a rapid speed. Yeah. You told me to call him during the show. He's an op. Let's see if he's picking up. He's trying to get me hit. I would never do that. But we also are doing that. We should have gone. Yeah, but you guys are confirmed ops. Sorry. Welcome to the show. Welcome to our side, Ron. Hey, Ron, what's up? It's PFT from part of my take your life to tape. Oh, what's going on with my friends? How are you? Is he here? We're doing good. Yeah, I was wondering what happened with big dom when you ran into big dom the other day. Ask him if he's in the hotel. Actually, wait, Ron, are you in the hotel right now? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so Ron. Yes. Ron is your son of a boy, dad. Ron.com. Go tuning to everything. Yeah. Go tuning, hollering. Ron, we were just talking to Hank about big dom, Jeff Stoutland, maybe big dom, switch over, coaches, offensive line, Hank. Hank gave a very sarcastic. No, they should. That's a great idea. Hank doesn't like big dom. So what's your big dom experience that you would like to share? Well, that's so funny, because I saw a big dom last night with Lane Johnson, who looks like he's ready to play football. OK. So he also has not, because I said I saw Jordan my a lot of last night, and he has not become a 5'6, 125 pound man since the Stoutland news. Oh, he's still a fucking beast. That's two for two. That's good. Two two offensive linemen on the Eagles have not lost any weights in Jeff Stoutland. He looked lean as fuck. Oh, maybe he did lose weight. I touched him up. I touched his midsection. I was like, what do you weigh in at like 280? He was like 320. Whoa. I said, where's it at? He said, it's all in my ass. Oh, that's all in my ass. That's what I like to hear. Yes. All in my ass. And standing next to a beautiful Lane Johnson was one big dom to Sandra, big dom to Sandra. And I went up to big dom and I said, maybe a bit of a leading statement to dom, but I said, Hank's a real piece of shit. And I think he said, I'm going to beat his ass. Yeah. You know, what his response back was that he's going to beat it. And I think we just kind of volleyed back and forth like, yeah, Hank's fucking dumb and sucks. Like, yeah, we're going to fucking lose. So you were acting him on. Yeah, I was, I was feeling, it was leading questions. It was fueled the fire. But I think where we just started, we're going to like hang you up by your like underwear and a fuckhole. I'm still trying to convert Hank into a big dom. I'm trying to mend this relationship. I want you guys to be friends. He doesn't want to mend it. He hates it. I want him. I want it to be mended. But we were joking about it the other night that I was like, Hank is on the record saying he hates Italians. And Hank, and Hank, that was a moment where Hank could have said, that's not true. He said, yeah, I am on the record multiple times. He's Italians. I got no beef with big dom. I personally would not go to a super rule party and just focus on me and the Patriots. That's just like. I was talking about the Patriots. Yeah, what? He was talking about you. Henry Lockwood. He doesn't want to be my ass. I'm a Patriots fan. Regardless, I would not be going to a super rule party talking about other people and how they're pieces of shit. I focus on myself and that's me right. Ronan, Ronan, I've been a leading question. He didn't bring it up. It wasn't top of mind. Ronan was talking about how you're from my home. I heard from people that big dom brings me up everywhere. And I never talk about it. You talk about him all the time. I'm a child. Yeah, you guys talk about him all the time. No, you guys talk about him all the time. You engage in the conversation? Not really against my will. You're doing it right now. Yeah. You think big dom is walking around town talking about you. Just muttering about Hank Lloyd. I would confirm. Confirmed from multiple sources. I love big doms. I would have ego to his ring free. I am saying you. He said our Russian attack is going to be fine. Yeah, he was chilling. He said we're going to be good. We're going to be fine. He's loving it. And Lane was good too. Lane was like, yeah, Lane was chilling. Lane looked athletic. They were just chilling in the cuss by the people. Jordan Milo was still big. He was massive. He's bigger. He's bigger. He's leaner. I said he saw a meeting dinner, but he's not too big. He's not too big. No, he's not taking the news so hard that he's like stress eating. He said bigger and leaner. It was lean. It was lean. Yeah. No, no, my last was a big line. He's leaner. What about Lane and Dickerson? I didn't have eyes on him. Kate had eyes on him. He's so small that you couldn't see him. No, no, he was still blocked out the sun when he walked past any light. And I think that they want to beat Hank's ass too. Where was this? It was at a some bar. It was at a bar that had ski ball and like video games and stuff like that. Not too big, not gaudy. It'd be incredible to watch all the guys on the old line for the Eagles and big dom kick Hank's ass at once. Yeah. Like a bunch of elephants stomping out like a Iina. Fuck it. For the Super Bowl, would you trade it for the Super Bowl? Yeah, because I might beat them. Oh, yeah. You're going to beat all four of their asses. I've grown last question, Hank, right before you got in here, he has declared you're an op. I just said I'm sad. I'm one of my former closest allies. Welcome to our side. Because I said, but what about us? We hate you too. He said, you guys are confirmed ops. So you're an op with us. Well, I asked him to name the Patriots' offensive line and all that guy got a lot of crickets. And there's been a lot of time to study between. Well, Campbell, Morgan Moses, Peter Ewe, or whatever's name is. Peter Ewein, Thomas Peters, on when you had the same joke that you can't just speak on. Oh, I didn't know that he was. I thought that was realignment. That's almost that's some of them. Yeah, I think that's the Starters. That was three and a half. Two of those guys are free. Yeah. I just think I know more about the Patriots than you and I'm not even the Patriots, man. You're smart guy. I'm not. But Hank, that, listen, that's what they do. They're obsessed with us. They know everything about us. They know all the stats about us, like ridiculous stupid ones. And they're like, oh, one, we're two better than you. Yeah, it's because you spend all day thinking about us. That's an advantage. I like that wrist point. That's from the New Heights party. Did you go to that next? I did not. I did not go. Did you? I don't think it was loud. Oh, wow. So you're a, you're an opt territory. No, those are friends of the program. They won't let Big Cat go. No, I could have gone in. Roan could have got me in. Yeah, right? No, Big Cat, but if they were to roll out the red carpet, you got invited. Yeah. It was a set up. It's not like a set up. Yeah. Oh, man. I should have won. I should have won. You're ass. Roan's the bread. All right, guys, appreciate you. All right, thank you, Roan. You're the best. Go listen to, go tune in. Subscribe to Roan.com, son of a boy, dad. Welcome to the op family. In other Eagles news, before we get to the two teams, that actually matter, we did run into a Philadelphia Eagle at our hotel in the elevator yesterday. Max and I were getting to the elevator. And Big Don. Door's closed. No. Big NAB. It's Big Don. It was in the elevator. Big Don. And Max turdled. I didn't say anything. He got on the elevator. And Max, I looked at each other and I gave him the big eyes. Like, you know what I'm saying? Also former Redskine, you also turdled. He is a former, he's a Redskine legend. Also recurring guest. And recurring guest. And Max just looked down at his shoes and he scratches his balls when he's nervous and started scratching his knots. Didn't say anything to him. And then yeah, it was just sad to see a turtle like that. That's your hero growing up. I know, Big NAB is an eagle legend. Subdacity. I didn't say anything to him. I don't, he probably would have liked to hear that. Yeah, no one wants to hear that. I told Max, I was a dude, you were like a little turtle. And he goes, I am a little turtle. Yeah. You want us out? Not even. I just want the game. I want to get into the stadium. Yeah. So you're not even excited for the weekend? No. It's just I would. If I could fast forward it, I would. I can't. So I will, you know, be attending some parties and stuff because I have no choice. But I'd rather just fast forward. You don't want to party. No choice. Yeah, it's business trip. Yeah, it's a business. I know that you are upset that like you wouldn't want to fast forward through the dozen trivia tournaments night that you have to be in. You're excited about that. Yeah, there's those moments. Yeah, because you don't know when you'll be. That's my fire fest. I mean, I guess I'll do it. I said no, no, no. Sports zero points in the dozen spoiler. Church, church, church those moments. And because you don't know when you'll be back in it, which probably next year. Right. No, it's an honor. Yeah, it's an honor and a privilege. I'm excited. Okay, so the, the CEO. I'm excited. Same. Yeah. The CEOcs are currently minus four and a half over under his 45 and a half. Couple, couple injury things. So even Warro, Warri, uh, tweet his ankle and practice on Wednesday was seen limping after that feels concerning. It does. Also, it's a Super Bowl. So they're going to make sure he's ready to go. But still, it's a low ankle sprain. He's very, very important. I saw some, I saw people saying it's bad. I saw a Twitter doctor, which I think still hasn't been a Twitter doctor, but we'll get to that part that you might need to be, uh, say that because he's not in a boot, that's actually a good sign. Yeah. Yeah. Because, you know, the limp is, you know, it's, he's going to be a little hampered, but they'll shoot him up and they'll be ready to go. Like as a 41 year old, I, I tweak my ankle just about every day. Yeah. You know, you take one step, it rolls a little bit and then you're like, fuck, I'm out of commission for a while. I think he'll be okay. If it's a low ankle sprain, you're probably going to limp a little bit, probably a little bit swollen. He's going to get it shot up with the best drugs, the best drugs ever. Super bowl drugs. So I think he'll be okay. Like there's, that's a whole new level of total that he's going to get jacked up into his ankle. So I think he'll be okay. Still great player. Not what you want to hear if you're the sea hawks, but yeah, that, that old defense is good. So I, I think that would like an 85% even worry. I still like that defense. Yeah. The tough defense. What, uh, is there any other injury news? I mean, Robert's playing so that he's 100% confident. No, no, he's, so Robert's playing is now sick. Oh, but he said the ankle, he's 100% confident. Yeah, the ankle's fine, but he got, he developed an illness like a bat. He's very, very sick right now. Oh, yeah. I don't know if it's a sack. Well, no, he said personally, it makes me sick that Tom Brady said he doesn't have a dog in the fight for this game. Yeah. So he's, Robert's playing his pissed off at Tom Brady for this. That story has gotten some new legs because everyone sounded off. Hank. Well, it was fake news when I brought it up by who you brushed it off. I did not say it was a brush off. Okay. We got to stay on the same team. It is, I mean, he does have a dog in the fight. I do, I do believe like he, he does have a dog in the fight. It's the Patriots. I think he's going to say the, the Raiders thing. Yeah. Like he can, he can kind of use his, his Raiders situation to say that's why he said it, but he should just, you know, man up. I think he just, he's a people pleaser. He doesn't want to be hated. So he doesn't want to, you know, get to see how he's being hated now. I know. I know. I think he made a mistake. I hope he changed his course and just comes out and it's like I do have a dog in the fight. It's Patriots. I was thinking about it more. There's also a world that Tom Brady is such a competitive psycho. He just doesn't want anyone to ever win another Super Bowl again. Ronk says that he's, that he doesn't have a dog in the fight because he wishes he was playing. And that's why he's like, I don't want anybody to win. Right. Exactly. He wants to win all the Super bowls that have ever existed. So he's like, I don't, I'm not in it. So, yeah, a lot of, I mean, like Teddy bruski and, and there's some guys that are doing interviews on Radio Row that former players are like, also upset. And I think that that's been part of it. Speaking of which, I think we have about five hours to go, but are you worried at all about Asante Samuel? Coming for them. Asante Samuel on Wednesday night. I had to check like five times. We're five hours away. So specific times 6.48 pm Wednesday night said, Tom Brady, you have 23 hours to respond or it's up. I'm going ape shit about who you are. Five hours. Yeah. I, I am a little bit worried about that. I mean, this is, these are distractions that we don't need, but at least it's former players and not current ones. And then he did an update. Does anyone believe Brady is texted by Vrayble by now eight hours and 30 minutes to go? So he's actively keeping count. It's not like he tweeted this out last night and then forgot about it. Sometimes you just say stuff and you can fake deadlines. He's following up on this. What do you think, what do you think that means going ape shit? I don't know. Probably just tweets. 30 hundred. 30 hundred. Yeah. I mean, that's not what you want this week. Vince Wilfork said it was bull crap. Multiple times called a bull crap. But again, it's not like it's a distraction for former players. It's not like the team that's not going to distract our team. They don't, they don't even know Tom Brady. We think a situate Mike, Mike McDonald thinks about this. Like, is he like that is bull crap, Tom Brady should be rooting for the. I don't know. Situate Mike moved when he was a little boy. So I don't know how much he identifies with a situate or like the Patriots. The only thing that you could say in defense of Tom Brady is that he is going to do a press conference with clink Kubiak probably on Tuesday. And if clink Kubiak has a really bad game, doesn't, doesn't change the higher. But that's still like all you have to do is say that's all he has to say like he should have a dog in the fight as the readers. Yeah, that actually would have been a fine answer. I own the Raiders. It was funny because at dinner Dave was, it was me and Eddie and Dave. And he's like, like this would be like Michael Jordan not rooting for the balls. And it's like, do you know that Michael Jordan has not been back to the United Center in 15 years? And then he like won't come near the balls. He's like, oh bad example. Yeah. It's okay. We got to focus on the players on the field. Yeah. I did think about it. I thought about it more after we did the show last week or last Tuesday. And it be fucked up of me to not root for the Patriots. Like it's, do I want my friend Hank to get $80,000? That's probably like a bad thing to root against. So I know that it would go to a good place. That'd be me. I'd be rooting against you getting like two new country club memberships. And I can't do that. I want you to be happy. So I'm rooting for you. I want you to win. We are on the same same page same team. Same city. I just like you flip flop so much. Well, no, now I'm back. I'm back. I'm back. I just want my friend to get 80 grand. My wife did text me this morning said how is Hank not punched PFT yet? Yeah. Do what Hank likes this polo? I do like this. Do you want it? I'll get short off my back. I mean, wow. Save it for my mother. Wonder what's under this shirt. I'm gonna get this shirt over my back. What's over this shirt underneath? Oh, it's the number seven. Is that number seven? That's a weird seven. What is this dude? Where's your get that? in the bar still sports store when the Patriots win. Okay, that'll be for sale. I'm team player, pushing merch. You got my shirt, let's go Hank. 80 grand. Hank. Do you wanna give us to your son? What? That's a funny joke. Oh, it's a funny joke. That's a perfectly medium size. It's a simple one. Yeah, it is. You're welcome, Hank. Are you nervous, PFT, about your back? You got a big bet. A big bet. Big bet. This is the most nervous I've been going through. So the title of the title is and the Tom Brady stuff is concerning to me. Like it is a distraction that the players are talking about it. And I am worried about situate Mike. That'll be tough when it'll lose. It is crooked. No, no, no. The more the week goes on, the more confident I do get in the Patriots because this does feel like this is the Mike variable game. If you had to draw it up in a lab, him being a 4.5 point underdog going into this game, he wins these games all the time. Can I just say from this side of the room, this is, this rivalry has made me laugh so hard. No rivalry. I also just realized you were wearing a sweatshirt underneath a polo and nobody thought anything of it. Yeah, perfectly normal way to wear a sweatshirt. If there was anybody else, we would be like, why are you wearing a crew neck underneath your polo? This is how guys dress sometimes. Oh, man. I do like DeChert though, seven. Oh, you've just been on his ass. And then Hank's so much fun to watch. If we lose this one, then you can actually have this shirt for next year when they go back, maybe a little get their seven Super Bowl loss next year. So it's really multi-purpose. We're focused on this. Correct, we are. Every time you just say the word, we, he's just sized in frustration. I love Hank. Let's talk about the actual game. So I think there's, in this might sound dumb, I think there's a 40% chance of Patriots win close and there's a 40% chance the Seahawks win close. I think there's a 20% chance the Seahawks could blow them out. Mm. I don't swear I land. That's where I land. I don't see Patriots blow out the Patriots. They don't, they don't blow teams out. And even the Super Bowls, they're always close games. That's where I land. That's a 40% chance. I mean, that's about, that's actually probably better. Zero, so there's zero percent chance Patriots blow them out. I don't, I do not think that that would happen. I mean, I could look stupid. I did, don't take, don't take offense. I'm not. That was a genuine opinion. Yeah. You know what? 1% chance. Okay. Because that way I won't look so stupid if it happens. 1% chance the Patriots blow out the Seahawks. And with the Seahawks lose, even when they play bad games, from same to Arnold throws four to one. Yeah, it's, it's very, very close. So there's turnovers or more, five and one. Two, two very well coach teams that, that don't make stupid mistakes. So I, I expect it to be a really good game. I think about it. So my keys to the game are, can the Patriots run the ball? Because the Seahawks defense is very, very good. And I think that will be key to, they're going to want to run the game, run the ball, maybe shorten the game a little. And then can the Seahawks interior offensive line stand up against milk moeums and the Patriots defense line? Because that's where they're going to get, be able to get pressure. That's where Sam Donald, if you get pressure off the middle with him, is a problem. Those are my two keys to the game. Are they, could they both be irrelevant? Of course, because I don't know shit. But that's my two keys to the game. My keys to the game are force to turn over early, get pressure early, come out, guns blazing defensively. I think if we can get it turned over early, potentially pick six or something like that will put a lot of pressure on Sam Donald. It's going to be hard for him to overcome that throughout the game. We don't, I think it's going to be like whoever, whoever slips up first, like the first mistake is going to be that's game very, not, it's not a game, but it's going to be crucial. It's going to be, it might be game. I think, I think the, the situation, quarterbacks in their first game and their first super bowl, it's like they're going to, they make a turn over early, like that's going to stay with them. Or more than other quarterbacks. McDaniel is going to have something ready. He's going to have some new trick that he hasn't done before. Oh, yeah. He's going to have a gadget play that we haven't seen. And they're, it's about when they break it out and if they're able to execute on that, that could be huge, obviously, for the Patriots. But like, you know that McDaniel is going into this game and he's got like, at least two things ready that he's put in this week that, that is not on tape that he's ever done before. And he's a great offensive coordinator, terrible head coach, great offensive coordinator and he'll have something good drawn out. The two minor storylines I'm looking forward to are, are, are like pregame. Will Cooper Cup find his foe restaurant because he eats foe every Saturday with the, with the quarterbacks before the game. He's got to find a Vietnamese place, eat his foe and then will stuff on digs, take his poop. Do you see that story? That's it. Oh, that was sit out. Or Friday. Friday. Yeah, the Friday. Yeah. So yeah, little buddy's got a poop. Yeah, we talked about that on the show and Hank used it against me to be like he's basically you. Yeah. You're a poop guy too. Yeah, yeah. So those are the two though. You will. You will be able to poop. I can promise you that. Yeah, I think, I think also Kenneth Walker. I think Kenneth Walker is probably, he's the most important. The most important guy outside of JSN for this offense. Like, if it's a good Kenneth Walker game, that will do very good things for their passing. I think I feel like the Seahawks almost have to run the ball before they throw it in this game, which kind of goes backwards against what they've done because they are like one of the, maybe the two best offensive downfield passing teams in the Super Bowl, but I think each one of them is going to try to establish the run before they take those shots. Hank, are you. I saw some people quoting the Sam Darnell versus Patriots. He's he never been in the Patriots. Are you being them once? Don't think he has maybe once to their one and four and five. Are you thinking that that Sam Darnell is going to show up or the Sam Darnell to have played perfect football in the NFC championship game? I'm thinking that Sam Darnell, I'm looking for that Sam Darnell. That's who you're looking for. Yeah, I'm hoping that show up. It's like a where's Waldo. You're going to find that one. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. In my mind, that's the same Darnell that's showing up to this game. So it'll be kind of it'll be a little jarring to the system if NFC championship game Sam Darnell shows up very because Sam Darnell, it's funny. It's funny that we keep the narrative continues even though like last year, it was, is it going to turn into a pumpkin week 18 happened. Playoff game happened that happened to turn into a pumpkin. He did play almost a perfect game against the Rams. The NFC championship game does that like, does that not count for, hey, can Sam Darnell win a big one? Yeah. Well, I think we're not on pumpkin watching anymore. If he has a bad game in the Super Bowl, I don't think he's a pumpkin. I think it's just, you don't think the NFC championship game is a big one. It's a big one. It's not the big one. Yeah. But, okay. But if he had lost that, he would say it was a bigger one. If he throws up a stinker, he's a pumpkin. Right. If he has a okay game and they lose, maybe not, he can prove he can win big games. But if he has a terrible game, I should have said the big one because it was for the longest time. Can he win a big game? Yeah. I mean, it really depends how he performs. But if he has a horrible game, I don't think I think it's back to Sam Darnell, the narrative for the same. Back to Sam Darnell. What do you think about Trayvon Henderson? Because that's where we're going to get to the props. I don't know. I've seen some film where it's like he's missing his cuts and his runs and he's not following his blockers. Hopefully, you know, he's explosive and if he gets to the outside, he can make a big play. I don't know. He's a coin flip. I think a guy like that, you hope you can have one big play. If he was, he was very impactful in the regular season, hasn't done much in the playoffs. It's got to be about like blocking. Yeah. It's got to be about past protection. Well, that's going to be the interesting thing is because the Trayvon Henderson is not a very good blocker. Will it be blitzing when he's not on the field knowing that, hey, they're probably going to be passing in then same. Kenneth Walker also comes off the field and Juan he comes on to block. Yeah. So that changes a little with the Charbonne injury. What about a little game within the game? Marcus Lawrence will Campbell. Hmm. If you watch in that one. Hmm. Are you confident, Will Campbell? He said, Will Campbell is the perfect epitome of a guy that like says and does all the things like when he's talking on the media that you want your lineman to say. He acts like a great offensive lineman, but he's had some bad games. He was hurt and he was coming off an injury. So I'm hoping that that was just kind of rust and that he's taken the extra time and he's going to be back to where he was earlier in the season. But yeah, I will be watching. I'm a little worried. If he plays like he did in the two-playoff games like that could be a problem. Yeah. Do you guys want to call a few stats that mean absolutely nothing? I hate those. The team wearing their white jerseys is one 16 in the last 21 Super Bowls. Those of the solely stat. I saw that. Yup. Patrons are in white. The most common final margin in the Super Bowl history is three points, which has happened nine times the next closest is four points, six times. Spread probably going to come into play. I'm trying to look for some more stupid stats. The Patriots have never won a Super Bowl in the Pacific time zone. Oh, wow. But this is their first time playing a Super Bowl in the Pacific time zone. They won every other time zone. They've never lost. They've lost. They've won. Was that a Pacific? Seattle. Mountain. Oh, yeah. That was the Seattle. Mountain Central Eastern. Remember we had this conversation about the Cardinals? Is Arizona always? Yeah, we talked about this with the Cardinals like a month ago. Yeah. It's right now. No, because they don't do day like savings sometimes. So right now, right now, I think it's mountain. Errors are. Right now it's mountain. Yeah. It's a different time zone. Yeah. So at the Super Bowl, it's mountain. So yeah. Okay. But that, it also means they've never lost a Super Bowl in the Pacific time zone either. Yeah. Siocs have also never lost or won a Super Bowl in the Pacific time. So why would you be talking about this? No, these are sat, these are sat, don't matter. The, the page is winning a Super Bowl in all four time zones is pretty, pretty. Oh, is that more significant than winning the seventh? Yeah. No, not more significant, but it's significant. That is pretty cool. Yeah. It's just like one more thing that we can say they had in the seventh. And the Siocs are going for the sandwich. The two sizes of sandwich, Eastern times, own a Pacific time zone. Yep. Where they cost a Super Bowl. Central or no, no, no, no, one in Eastern. No, they lost one in Eastern. Oh, lost one in Eastern. Okay, so they're lost one in mountain. No, they won one in Eastern, lost one in Eastern. When they used to be lost in mountain. They have not played one in Central. Yeah. Okay. This is again, stats that don't matter. It's a big time. It's a really good stuff. I was wondering if we could get a loss in all four times zones, but we can't. We can't. Memes, as the voice of all jets, we can do. Could you get a loss in all four times zones? That's what I was asked. Yeah. No. No, consent. Arizona, Minnesota. Yeah. Wait, is Minnesota Central? Yeah. Arizona's mountain. Yeah, this could be if. Indianapolis is Eastern. Yeah. Wow. So either way you'll either win in all four times zones or lose it all for. Wow. That is. Alright, I'm rebranding this is now stats that matter a lot. Yes, you're going for time zone all time time zone winner or loser. Yeah. Just when you thought this game couldn't mean anymore. This is literally the time zone. This is you talk about like winner go home. It's like this is big stuff. That's a step that's going to be why? Yeah. Because you can't you're out of time zones. Oh, no, true. International. Fuck you. Goddamn it. That's the final. That was a low blow to say that. Cause we know what's going to happen. It means as a voice for jets fans, have you reached a final decision on on what you'd rather see Sam Donald hoisting the Lombardi trophy or the Patriots winning another one? It's Sam Darnell. It's gotta be. It's gotta be. It's gotta be. It's gotta be. It's gotta be so happy for Sam Darnell if he won. He had so many opportunities to slam out the jets winning left. He was never dead. Oh, good guy. Yeah, really good guy. He's well. So we're team. We're team. We're team. Darnell. We're team sea hawks. This is also one of those NFL scripted moments, not like Patriots have one since that ghost, graphic or monographic and Sam Darnell's life is a room from that. And now he has the opportunity to win a Super Bowl before the Patriots got back. You're also wearing sea hawks hat. Kinda. No, this is Kenox. It's positive vibes only. But it's kind of sea hawks colors. That's probably coincidence. It has a green in it. I don't think I know. I don't think memes would do that. Just messed up. It's going to be positive vibes only. It's going to be that hat will be in the store soon for March, madness. This would also be back to back years where players from the 2019 Jesse and one Super Bowl. Who was that? MacKey back then. Yeah. Bray to man. You guys are basically building Super Bowl champions. Yep. Leonard Williams and Sam Darnell. Yeah, you're building Super Bowl champions. Yep. What can you talk us through? What the game day? Are you going to be getting drunk? Are you going to be? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. I didn't know if you were trying to be able to remember everything. Are you going to the stadium at 9am? Yeah, there's like Dave bought a million tickets for Patriots fans at Barsul. I think there's like 17 to 20 people. And there's a boss picking us up from our hotel and going towards stadium at 10am. So yeah, I mean, I'm not going to get like blackout drunk. I'm not going to get like wasted, but like I will have a few beers. I mean. But not in a drink. Yeah. Any champagne? No champagne. No champagne. PFT already tried that. Oh, we were talking about it. You did. You tried to sneak some champagne. Thanks. Listen, this is not Hank's first rodeo. Okay. He knows how he's playing defensive. He intent his up. I got it. I got to be better. I feel like you're going to be so sad to see us go. Yeah. I really am. Yeah. I'm going to come up here. You should probably drive PFT to the airport just to make sure he gets on his way. So we stay. I can stay. I got a hotel room right by the stadium. Yeah, you should. What if I just stayed there and then I could greet you after the game? That'd be awesome. Are there any other big boss and celebs coming in town or we get the Matt Damon's of the world, the Ben Affleck's and Mark Wahlbugs? You got to think. You think the Fridays usually the losers get out and the fans come in. Yeah. Well, I'm not going until Saturday. You know what I mean? Call me a Max and memes with losers. What do you mean Friday? No, I'm just saying generally. I'm current Super Bowl champ. True. Yeah, you got to squeeze a few more of those out. Yeah. Get us remind yourself. Okay, so let's do our prop picks. I love my props. I love my props. I love my props. I love my props. And we're going to pick a few of them. So, how we're going to do it is we're all going to pick five prop bets. I think we set it on the show and might not have the, if you go five and oh, you max, you could get five, five hours eliminated from the live stream. And if you, I have a question. Yeah. What if I've got some juicy ones. Yeah, the juicy ones. Yeah. How about, how about we, we do three that are like kind of even money and then two juicy ones? That's fine. This is also really just for max because he's guaranteed hasn't. Yeah, this is. This is just, this is just a way of, I mean, I'm, you can get out of some, if I go over five, I will do five hours mandatory in a row consecutive. Okay. Who wants to go? We can, we can do duplicates. Because I'm doing tails. I'm going to put up very big bet on tails. Okay. That's my first prop. Tails has been super hot. Are you concerned with that? Should we? No, I just bet it every year. No matter what. It's my favorite bet. I wish that you could bet on the coin flip on every single NFL game. And I wish that you do a coin flip during NBA games and baseball games. I'm not talking. Okay. I've got one to Marcus Lawrence over a quarter of a sack. Minus one 10. So you even get a half sack. Hank, you like that one? I actually, one non-Juicy one, but I, I like it a lot is total sacks over four and a half minus one 50. That's for the whole game for both sides. Ooh. I like that. Maybe that's one, that's the one we throw into our parlay. I do like that. I like that a lot. You guys want to, you want to go? You want to go? You want to go? I'm going to go five, Hank. You go. All right. So I had to place all these on Sunday before we left because I will be going to the game. So I'm just, these are, these are the ones I have and I love them. Mac Collins to have two plus receptions in each half plus 700. Whoa. Hmm. How many is he getting? Again. That's a lot. Yeah, it is a lot. It's a lot. That's a juicy one. That's plus 700 that. I mean, he, he, he hadn't been playing. I mean, he was injured, but I, I don't know. I could say it happening. I like Mac Collins. So that's, that's why I took that one. Drake made to have either 50 plus rushing yards or a 50 plus yard long completion plus 145. Love that one. I like that one. I like that one. I like that one. I like that one. Another one I love with all my heart. What's Drake made rushing, uh, props? I like his over. It's about 38. I'm seeing 38 rushing yards minus 111. Okay. Uh, will there be a flea flicker attempted? Yes. Oh, so. That's 170. I have a similar, but total players have a past 10 over two and a half plus one. Yeah. But that one entails every single year. Remember last year, Kenny pick it. Oh, yeah, I didn't pick it. Legend. Kenny pick it. And then the last, the last one I have is a K Sean Moody to score 40 plus yard receiving touchdown. That's plus 1200. Whoa. Wow. Okay. Okay. So that could cash the Drake may potentially and two for Wow. That's what I got. Okay. As a patriot. All right. I'm going to start with the Hawks ones less fun and then get progressively more fun. I like that. Throughout the way. Uh, I'm going to start with Drake may 31 plus passing attempts. I just feel like super bowl. I think it's going to be a close game. It's going to be back and forth. I'm taking 31 plus passing attempts. Next. That's minus 109. Draft King sports book. Uh, the next is over a half a yard. Receiving for Jake Bobo plus one. Half. Yeah. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Have to do it. Um, I'll go with. Okay. Now I will do JSN similar to Hank's, but I have four plus catches for JSN in each half plus 350. Okay. A lot. But J I mean, JSN is so good. Then they, I don't know. We were watching that game the other day. Or last week and I feel like they could just throw it to him every single time if they wanted to. Um, this one Rashid Shaheed under 19 and a half miles per hour fastest ball carry speed. So he thinks he's going to be slow. A lot of fun bet. Wait, is that a punt or kick return to? I don't that that made you. Yeah. So number one, you're moving forward. He's fun bet of a Rashid Shaheed to not get the ball. And then when he does get the ball, you hope that he's slow. Yeah. How do you even track? So you're, wait, wait. So you're rooting for the fastest guy on the field to be slow? I'm rooting for the knock at the ball. No idea. It's like all that looks like it's 18. I'm rooting for him to not get the ball. How are you going to find out if he's going 18 miles an hour? I don't know. This is also one that Ebo told me he was like, I think, I think all of like the unders for the next gen stats should, he was like, that Ebo just told me he likes the unders and the fastest speed guys. All these squares out there think that the fast players are fast, but the sharps know that they're not. Yes. And then my most fun. Future face of this league. Oh, I did it. Scotty Barnes will have more points than Rashid Shaheed has receiving yards. Wow, that's so fun. Okay, that was worth it. That was so worth it. That was so worth it. That was going to be worth it. That was awesome. That was awesome. All right, Piff, you want to go? I'm just sitting in the movie theater after like inception. Yeah, I told you it was going to be more fun. You should have won it. Holy shit, you did it. You also guessed it. And I was about to say it, but I would be happy that we saved it for this moment. I can't believe that. That was a complete joke. I've got a really fun one. You thought that Max's were fun. This is a really fun one. Over 49 and a half yards gross of the first punt in the game. A 50 yards gross punt in the first one. Basically, I'm betting on the punt to take place prior to midfield. Yep. And if it's close to midfield, get down close to the end zone. Or if it's punted from like the 20 yard line, it just goes relatively far. And it's not a shank, but that's minus 110. I got what up in the return to. Gross. Got it. Yeah, gross, gross vnet. Remondre MVP 28 to 1. Whoa, whoa. I like those odds. Whoa. I like the value on Remondre MVP. But here's a fun one. Kenneth Walker and Remondre Stevenson have five yards rushing in each quarter. Plus 450. What is it again? Say it again. Kenneth Walker and Remondre to both have five plus yards rushing in every quarter. Okay. So like they both, that's like, you know, maybe two carries per quarter for each one. And it's plus 450. That's one of those ones that I saw. And I'm like, that seems like it should not be plus 450, meaning it's definitely a soccer's bet that I'm falling directly into. Yep. But it seems still like it. Like you look at those numbers. And then this is my personal favorite. I call it no Henry. The no Henry. Okay. Lock of the week. Hunter Henry to not score a touchdown. Minus 340. That's the bet. That's the bet. No Henry. Okay. Minus 340. I used to do no drinks. I fucking love that. You love that one? Yeah. You love no Henry? No, I love that you bet that. Why? Because it's kind of make him scoring so much better. Well, I love that. I would. You got to get you got to get on Hunter Henry. Yeah, you got a bet Hunter Henry. You got a bet on Henry. I think that minus 340 is good. I used to do no doinks. And that was when it was at minus 500. Now no doinks is minus a thousand. So I don't think I can lay that juice. I like that. I like to, I like you put yourself out there for one of these bets again. It's fun. No Henry. No Henry. Okay. I'm gonna go not fun to fun just like Max did. The first one. I like. Well this one. Count as a prop that. I do like to. I like to see ox minus 2 and half first half. Sorry. Yeah. I just say one thing. Yeah. If you were wondering and like you probably. The listeners brains have been confused and annoyed with PFT for the last month as I have. and maybe you're like, oh, maybe he actually is room for the Patriots. That right there tells you everything you need to know. Like you can- No Henry? Just all of, there was no one- No one takes the one- No one takes the one- The Patriots, you would be betting Patriots stats. Every single one of those stats was like sea hawks or Patriots sea hawks or anti-patriots. Ramondra seems an MVP 28 to 1. Okay, that's the anti-drink May. Oh, wow. But you think I did that to be anti-drink May? What other MVP props you have? I've got Josh Stobbs MVP. Okay. Yeah, that- That was good for vague. That was point hang, that was point hang. The final- or finally done with this. And that tells you me everything I need to know. I mean, another prop that I am taking, tomorrow Douglas longest reception over 25 yards, plus 582. I think you're seeing ghosts. Tank, you're seeing ghosts right now. I'm listening to you. When I put the Ramondra Stevens and MVP bet in, I was not thinking about Drake May at all. I saw 28 to 1 for the bell cow running back for one of the teams in the Super Bowl. He's been really, really good recently. They're feeding him. If he scores a few touchdowns, if he scores two touchdowns even, and has a big game, Super Bowl MVP 28 to 1, you're plus sign hunter. That's good, not that's good, that's good, that's good. Thank you. So admit that you were seeing ghosts on that one. No. That was not an anti-drink bet. Sorry, we can't. The other one was. Sorry, oh, that's fine. So I do like sea hawks might as soon have first half. I think the Patriots have started slow in their playoff game. Sea hawks have started fast. Like if you look at it, the Chargers game, it was 3-3 until the last minute. And they drink may has that big run. 6-3, 7-7 in the Broncos game. Sea hawks jumped all over the Niners. They played well against the Rams in the first half. So yeah, might as soon have first half. All right, so here are my prop bets. Tales is my first one. Always go tales. Longest field goal made over 50 and a half yards. Good conditions. I think you might get a little conservative by both coaches. Try to take the points. Both kickers have legs. Two of them actually. Over 50 and a half yards, longest field goal. I like Travion Henderson over, or sorry, Ramondra Stevenson over 25 receiving yards. And then here are my fun ones. JSN, those are first three. JSN more receptions than Ohio State made threes against Michigan earlier in the day. I looked it up. Ohio State's averaging about 7 and a half threes a game. Michigan has a really good three point defense. Yes, you could get screwed. And if Ohio State goes nuclear and hits like 12 threes, you're going to be in a problem. But you could also have a really nice Sunday where they hit four threes that are cold. And you go in the Super Bowl. And you have JSN to make five receptions. Would you rather lose the first leg of that first or the second? Like would you rather I want to be I'm hoping that Ohio State is somewhere in the five to eight range. You can't lose the first leg. You could point. Good point. And then here's my my funnest bet. Oh, I forgot, you know what? Take out the Ramondra Stevenson. I forgot. Total players have past tempo over 2 1 1 half plus 160. Got to have that one in there. By the way, that one was JSN plus 150. So you get some nice mods on that. Here's my favorite bet of all Super Bowl Props. Points scored combined points scored in the Super Bowl. Plus US gold medals in the winter games. 58. OK. You guys like that? Yeah. Metals are gold medals. Gold medals. What's their medal? 12 1 1 2 1 half is the line. Yeah, I like that. It's just kind of fun. Because what if you get a shoot out in the Super Bowl, and you're like, oh, we just got to win two gold medals. And if you don't get, if somehow the games total points are 42, you're not dead. You just need the US to do well. It's also, it's gonna make you care about some sports that you absolutely do not give a fuck about. Yes. You love it, which is what? And so 58 I think is minus 115, 60 is plus money. I might ladder this one, do it. Just for the US gold medals. I just like the idea that the bets are not, you're still alive. It could be a 10-3 Super Bowl and you're like, what if we just go nuclear at the winter games? I don't even know if there's that many events. I don't even know how many events. Yeah, it's not the summer. I also was looking at one where I was like, you know what, you need to chill out, you need to stop. There was one that was like UNC women's made threes and Drake made Russian. I saw that one. I saw that one. I stopped myself on that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so I got the chill out, dude. You're gone too far. Memes, do you have yours? Yes. So those are my official five, because I was kind of all over the place. Tales, total players to have a pass attempt, over two and a half, longest field goal made, over 50 and a half yards. JSN more receptions than Ohio State threes, plus 150, combined US gold medals, plus point scored, over 50. I regret that she ate one bad. Yeah, that one, I like dude, you're rooting for. I also am going to out of respect, just because I do it every year. A 22 to one for a kick, return, touchdown. That'd be fun. It'd be fun. Imagine. I also think this is not in my official five, but I'm going to bet both teams scored defensive touchdown. Defense or special teams such on. The other one I was looking at that I'm not going to bet, because I can't root for no points, but I saw points scored in the first 10 minutes. No, plus 270. Oh, that a, I think there's a feeling out process in the Super Bowls. Little bit of punt punt, situation. I like the first quarter under. Yeah. It's kind of the same vibe as that one. Yeah, and you could just, that's one, it's a fun one to watch the clock. That's a bet for people they like to make money, but not root for exciting football. Yeah, yeah, I don't know which one I am. I'm exciting football and losing money. Yeah. Memes. Will there be a two point conversion attempt? Yes, plus 155. Like, yeah, I did that. Over four down conversions, over one and a half, plus 105. Like that, I also saw third down conversions, which is kind of low. I think the pages are like four and a half, and the C-ox were five and a half. I think the total was over 11 and a half. Okay, I might take that. Will there be an octopus? Yes, plus 1,500. Like on the field? Octopus is so hard. All my props deal with two point conversions. I actually like that strategy though, because you don't have to keep like, looking at your phone to CEO, how many yards this guy have. You're just basically, if there's never a two point conversion attempt, then you know you lost everything. Successful two point conversion. Yes, plus 300. Okay. And offensive line into score touchdown. Yes, plus 2,200. Whoa. Those are fun memes. Hey, it's super. Let's have some fun. Yeah. You know, I'm pumped. Okay, let's get to our interviews. We have Fred Warner and then Jake Bobo who'll be playing in the Super Bowl. Before we do that, PFT is going to talk to you about Pepsi Zero Sugar. We're all on a mission for self discovery right now. And before we get to Fred Warner, we're going to do a little experiment of our own. We've got Pepsi's Super Bowl, LX, and it is bringing to light a similar phenomenon of discovery and truth with us. Hey, it's been on a movement of discovery as well, discovering if he is left handed or right handed, we're all waiting with baited breath. And now he's discovering the Pepsi paradox, the idea that when labels and bias disappear, cola drinkers prefer the taste of Pepsi. It's a phenomenon that blind taste tests have repeatedly proven in the 2025 revival of the Pepsi Challenge 66% of precipitants agree that Pepsi Zero Sugar tastes better than Coke Zero Sugar. Pepsi wins on taste. Sometimes you get to flip your world upside down to discover what's been right there the entire time. You deserve taste. You deserve Pepsi Zero Sugar. Let your taste decide. Go try it today. Hank, let's see what we got here. We got Cup A, Cup B. You're gonna figure out which one you like better. All right, I'm gonna start with Cup B. Okay. Okay. Okay. Good taste. Time for Cup A. Now it's time for Cup A, you got it. Oh yeah, Cup A. Cup A? All right, it's a deal. Hopefully, I don't know. Yeah, Pepsi Zero Sugar. Oh, we're feeling the other one, actually no. Yeah, there we go. So Cup B is Coke Zero Sugar. Yeah, so Max got it wrong. Hank got it right. Memes got it right too. So I got to go in the wall. Yeah, yeah, Hank put your face in the wall. Defend the wall, Hank, you know how we do it. Good job, Hank. All right, well now we got superstar linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers Fred Warner. Whoa. Okay, we now welcome on a very, very, very, very special guest. It is the legend. Four time all pro, Fred Warner. Here with experience. What do you do with the experience? Let's get, let's talk some experience. And then I have an experience. I call them my BFF, my big financial friends. Okay, they help you save time and money. They got an amazing app where they help you get rid of unwanted subscriptions. We all fall victim to it where we, you know, we get all those subscriptions that got the low 599, the 1099ers that kind of go under the radar and so it helps you get rid of all those things. I'm big in that. I have way too many subscriptions. Exactly. That's where we're here for. Yeah, and I'm jumbled up with my wife on a bunch of them and it's like, come on. Dude, yeah. So we gotta help that out a little bit. I have a question about, so four time all pro. Right. Four time pro-buller. Are we still saying pro-buller? Because of the way that it's kind of gone. Yeah, yeah. It's gotten a little hairy. For all pro-buller. It's obviously way more important. I do hate my hat on the all pro. Yeah. Those do mean a lot. You know, they both mean a lot though. They, I think it has gotten a little strange with like kind of the alternates and that whole deal. I know that's kind of been a topic of combo this week. But yeah, all pro is literally outright the best in the entire league at your position. So, you know, at the end of the day, when I guess when they, when we talk about all the accolades and in terms of like Hall of Fame and those sort of things, you're gonna hang your hat on the all pro. So I'm gonna try to get more, hopefully. Yeah. Yeah. That's the goal. I want to count you out. You look like you play right now. Yeah, I could. Would you have played? Let's line up. Yeah. In the NFC championship. I would have played, yeah. 100%? 100% I would have played. I would have two. I would have two. I would have sat out any of the playoff games. Yeah, I know. I mean, I would have sat out the entire year if my ankle wasn't broken in half. Right. Like that's where we were at. That's incredible though that you're ready to go right now. Like, what do they tell you when you first got injured? Like, did they say this whole year? Well, yeah. I mean, it's probably not the best thing that when a guy's, you know, was facing the other direction. I'd be like, all right, man, we're gonna see how fast we can get you back. It was like, no, the combo on that training table in in Tampa after I did it was like, all right, like, you know, the cert, we're gonna do the surgery. And I'm asking questions like, am I ever gonna be able to play football again? Like that was the conversation. Well, it wasn't like, all right, doctor, how quick can I come back? You know, it's like a, it's a horrific injury that you kind of, you hope that you never have to go through. But then you look on the other side of it. And it's like, all right, they put that thing back together. They put them plates in the screws in there. You start doing the rehab and you're like, oh, wow, like I'm kind of progressing quicker than anticipated. And then that's when the combo started like, are you ready? You ready mentally for us to kind of change this, your rehab process. Because we're about to expedite this thing if you do wanna make it back for the playoffs. Yeah, how much of that is physical compared to mental when it gets time to start getting out there and running on it, cutting off for the first time? Like was that, was there a mental hurdle you had to get over? For me, no. I think for a lot of guys there is. And I think just hearing those stories of like different guys when they sustain in different big injuries, like an ACL or an Achilles, and you start doing jumps and stuff again for the first time, you talk about the mental hurdle that you have to overcome. And I think since I knew that that was a thing that was almost like a challenge that I took on of like, now I'm gonna make sure that's not a thing. Like let's get the biggest box we can get. Let me see if I can do one leg of jump on it. You know what I'm saying? So I kind of attacked it that way even though it may have been a little like crazy way of thinking. That's just how I'm all, I kind of, I've made a name off of living in delusion almost. You know what I'm saying? So like I kind of just like was living in delusion a little bit when it came to recovering from this. It's like, oh yeah, let me recover in three months in play in an NFC championship game. It's like, bro, are you kidding? It's like, yeah, but you do it. Were you close to playing in the game against Seattle? Like what was the process there? Did you test it that week? So before that week, it was Philly and the whole plan all along was for me to wait it off as long, the doctors wanted me to push it off as long as possible to decrease the risk of re-injury till that NFC championship week. They're like, we're just gonna throw you out there in an NFC championship week practice and then that's the only week of prep you're gonna get. And in my mind, I'm like, I don't really want that to be the first time I'm actually stepping back out there after I did. So I just asked the question. I was like, hey, can I open my practice window with the divisional round, get out there for a day of practice just to run through individual drill, be out there with the fellas, boast morale, and then we'll see where we're at. And then they agreed. So that's why I was out there that Thursday practice in the divisional round. That was the clips that everybody was seeing and me being back out there. And so that thought of me playing in the divisional round only got sparked because everybody was like, oh, he looks actually pretty good in those clips. Maybe he is gonna play, but the plan all along was for the NFC championship. Yeah, I said maybe week 14, week 15, that this might be Kyle Shanahan's best job coaching. And why is that? All that the Niners had to overcome this year. And you talk about the injuries, you can also talk about like going back and forth between Brock Purdy and Mac Jones and not losing a step from that. Substation. The substation that you had to deal with. We are fellows. It's the first year of us dealing with that. You knew this. We had the guy on our show. Did you really? What who's the guy? The guy who like made the substation? No, he was the guy who was like first like, hey, the substation, he's very divorced. He just kept on talking about how divorced. He was the most divorced guest that we've ever had on part of my take. But he get divorced because he was talking about the substation. I think the substation was like filled the void of his divorce. God, yeah, yeah, okay. He got really into learning about electric life. And what did he say? I'm now I'm actually interested to see what he said. Well, he went to in and out and he got some burgers. And then he was like, hey, there's a substation here. And so then yeah, then he's like, I'm There's a real expert you guys are dealing with. He measured it. Yeah, yeah, big time. Yeah, he's just asking questions. Is there a problem with asking questions? No, not at all. I love asking questions as well. That's why I'm asking these questions. I can't look at the conclusion that it's not nothing, but it's probably closer to nothing than everyone's making. I like that. I like that. So you probably don't want to be next to a substation. Sure. Yeah, ideally, but also it's probably close to nothing. Exactly. Who cares? Who works next to one and look at us? Yeah, we're super healthy. I see it. Yeah, I think you guys are great. I'll take you on right now. I would again, I would have I would have taped it up and gone back in that game in Tampa. Yeah, that's so healthy. I am. No, but like back to the Kyle thing, I think that this has been his best job coaching. And he's had some great years coaching for both of them. But this year seemed to stand out to me. And my point of view after watching you guys play all year, it was that it seemed like the 49er, they got everything that they possibly could have gotten out of the season. Sure. And the same way, or do you still feel like, hey, we should have beaten the C-Hawks? No, I do feel the same way. And at the end of the day, man, you need your horses when you're going up against the guys who have their best players. I'm saying to not have me and both on defense, those two, and itself, I think are big enough hits where it's going to be hard to, when you start getting into that that NSE championship, the vision around type of games, where you need those guys to make the plays. And the times when we have been healthy, man, we've been in that game down the street. We've been in Super Bowls and had a chance to win in them. Now did we make that hurdle and win one? No, not yet. And I think that's why people kind of don't have Kyle in that conversation of greatest coaches to do it, because he just hasn't been able to be at the very tip of the top of the mountain. But it's only a matter of time. It's not a thing of like, oh, is Kyle Schaener ever going to get a trophy? It's like, no, no, he's going to get one, because he's that good. And you see that in the moments of the greatest turmoil, how great a leader truly is, because yeah, a leader looking, look, damn good, when he has all the best all pros and pro-boats to his disposal. But what happens when you lose your franchise quarterback for a majority of the season? What happens when you lose all your all pros on the defense side of the ball? And how does that ship keep going? You get 12 wins. It's like, okay, now we're talking who's the best of the best. Yeah, I actually think if I were John Lynch, I would just never get really good players, because they can't get injured. And you can't have a season from hell. If you didn't have a career like that. I don't know. You lose all about that. I don't know about that thought process, but I see where you're getting that. Yeah, if you never have a Fred Warner and a Bosa, you can't lose them to injury. For sure. You can't lose them to a lot of meat like middle of the road. Yeah. Yeah, okay. Middle of the road. Yeah. But if I'll do respect, what if you guys are second strength next year? And then after all the first strength guys today? Did they hurt? Yeah, and we can step up next. Next man, you're already going to be in the play. You'll mind like a one-hour shoot. We might have something there, but you know, we probably still find a way to mess it up, and I'm just kidding. I don't know. But yeah, man, I think we'll figure it out. We're constantly working on the whole injury. Yeah, it's a tough division that you guys are. Would you say that the googly eye dragon? Yeah, I did make that comment about the dragon. It seemed to have gone over well for our own area. I didn't know that there were that many years on the Cardinals fans out there. It seemed like that was a pretty safe. Court had. And listen, to their credit, I said, unfortunately, this year, they haven't been that fair. You know what I'm saying? And here's another thing too, is I got a lot of respect for Gannon, even though he got fired with the Cardinals, because he didn't have a great year this year. I thought he was doing some good things with their squad because they battled us harder than they'd ever battled. Since Gannon got hired to their team, but of course, if you're not producing wins, then they're gonna get you out of there and they're gonna get the next group in there. But yeah, we'll see how the floor does over there. Yeah, so all right, so it's sticking with the NFC West. Let's talk a little soup roll. What is it about the Seahawks? What do they do? You guys played them obviously three times. You played in the first game. The other two, you were still out. But what has made it so that they are in this game and they have had such an incredible season? Yeah, I mean, you mentioned it right there. I was in the one game we won against them and then I wasn't in the other two, so I'm in the Seahawks. I'm the Seahawks Kittenome. Yeah. But they got a loaded roster, bro. And more than that, I think Mike McDonald has done a great job of instilling the right culture within their team because the way that they played the game in all three phases is exactly how we played the game. I'm saying that's a credit to what he's been able to build in such a short amount of time and to be in a Super Bowl. They've been able to stay healthy with the caliber of players that they've had. Sam Donald playing the best ball that he's ever played. You know, playing that way also in the playoffs is what's given them a chance to be in a Super Bowl. And you know, if Sam can continue to do that in the Super Bowl, then there's no reason why they shouldn't hold the trophy. So I assume you still, did you sit in the meetings like before the playoff game and before week 18? I did, yeah. So what, like, what are you trying to do when you're trying to stop the Seahawks? What is like the main, is it a JSN? Is it the run game? Like what are you trying to get them into to stop the... For most, any game plan that we have, and it's always trying to stop the run first and make them one dimensional. Because if you can force them into a game where they're having to pass the ball, then you can now start manipulating different things with your coverages, with how you want to blitz the passer, you know, dictate pressures and stuff like that. But if they can run the ball in their system, which, you know, Kubiac system is just like our system with Shanahan, you know, the run in the pass marry up together where they open up the pass game through running the football. So Kenneth Walker coming alive during the playoffs with Sharpenay going down was probably the worst thing that could happen for everybody. Because he's had this ability in his body for so long that's been just itching to kind of come out where he can hit the home run ball at any time. He just got this ability, he's just like the, the energizer bunny, he just runs all over the place and breaking tackles back and forth and at any time it could be 80 yards. So you have to be able to stop the run and make them one dimensional. And then we can see if Sam Donald can continue to deliver the passes without throwing it to us. So you mentioned their run game being similar to your guys run game in that like Shanahan, you know, coaching tree and how they want to run the ball. How, like, what are the rules to stop that? Because if you watch it, the beauty of, especially the Niners run game is like, when McCaffer gets the ball, he has like nine different ways he can go. Right. And there's, you know, the cup packs always there and he can stretch it out. Yes. And it's like, it seems like it's an impossible task because you, he can just go every direction. For sure. So what do you, what, like, from a defensive perspective, what are the rules to what you're trying to do? Well, in the run game, especially, you're trying to set hard edges to the, to the defense. The way that McCaffer and R system has success is if they're able to kind of, on those, on those stretch plays, they want to be able to stretch the ball as far out on the field as possible and then cut the ball back. When the ball started over here, you want to cut it back over here because you drew the play all the way over this way. Right. So it's, it's kind of like just manipulating space on the field. And if you're able to set a hard edge to start the down, now you're forcing the, the running back to make a quick decision. It's like, all right, do I cut back into the teeth that the defense right now? Or do I try to continue to stretch it out? Or ultimately, there's a guy right there and you're getting tackled. Right. On defense, you got to set hard edges and you got to be physical at the point of contact because if you let them just kind of keep driving you out, that's exactly what the offense wants. Is that hard? Is that like a difficult thing, under a difficult thing when you're playing defense where you're like, hey, I have a rule for where I'm supposed to be, but I also think I can make the play and that's when you can get burned. Yeah. I mean, it's, it's, I mean, you're so good that you probably know I wouldn't play. No, no, we're not going to say that. But for, especially for the edge setters, I would say, because it could be a defensive end. It could be a linebacker. It even can, it even can be a defensive back, depending on the play call. But the hard part when going against these schemes and against our scheme is we'll manipulate the play. You see all these shifts, all these motions before the snap even starts, because you're not ever just going to line up and be like, all right, set the edge in our tackle and we can't run. No, we're going to take juice and we're going to, we're going to fast motion this way. We're going to seal the edge, make him bump you into our tackle and now making his job easier and he can now move on to the, to the second level. Oh, we might just have our receiver in a cut split chop down and he's going to crack you and then we're going to pull the tackle and we're going to get around the, it gets all different ways to get from pointing to point B. Right. And so that's what the hardest part is as the defender of playing our scheme is like, you kind of have your eyes at your head and you're going to swim like where are they coming from? Where's the block coming from? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not just straight up one on one block. You've got a lot of great defensive coordinators too in your time in San Francisco. Great coordinators. Who's the biggest psycho that you've ever played for? The biggest psycho coordinators? Yeah. Um, man, maybe Robert. You think Robert's, oh, Salah. He seems like he's got some great, you saw what he said, he saw what he said. It's Cohen after the game this past year. Did you see that? They got into it. Yeah, that was good. I think he said, I'll end your life or something like that. Yeah, yeah. I believe in that. I believe in what he said that. Yeah, I don't want to spark that back up. But yeah, it was something that it was a heat in exchange because of something else that was built up during the week. But yeah, Salah, you got that dog in them for sure. It's for that cause you need. Yeah, whenever he'd be addressing the media in his time in New York, it was like he had to put on the head coach as one to address you respectfully. But he also wanted to murder every reporter in that room all the time. Yeah. The clocks were taken behind his head. New York is brutal. It seems like it is. Seems like it's a tough place to play. Yeah. What about Demiko? What's he like? Straight dog. I mean, he's a guy who played at an all pro and pro level as a linebacker who then is your linebacker coach. He was his first year as a linebacker coach was my first year in the league. And so we kind of grew up in this thing together and then watching him go on to be the head coach for the Texans and watching his post game speeches to their team. I'm like, damn, I miss him. Like, yeah. It's such a, the most pure leader of men. If you had him in the dictionary, you'd see a picture of Demiko Ryan. Was he tough for a new because he was a linebacker? Oh, absolutely. Oh my God. I was surprised that they didn't bench me in my rookie year. After some of them games, I would come out. I think it was a Thursday night game against Green Bay where I couldn't do nothing right. We were on the road and Aaron Rogers probably had 5,000 yards, 10,000 touchdowns. And I messed up everything. And I thought I was getting benched that game and they stuck it out with me. It was different back then. No, we didn't win anything. You think you're going to be coach one day? No. Not interested. Which is, bro, I just see the hours that they have to put in. Yeah, you're doing media already. You're away from your family even more than you were when you were a player. So I don't know if I would do that. Yeah, Mike McDonald's never met his son. It's crazy. And now he's at the top of the bowl. And I'm like, it's a price he got to pay. He might let him meet him after the Super Bowl. That's the trophy. Yeah. He foys up his son like, like, except for a blanket. Yeah, I got him. I got him. Brutal business, but that's what it requires of you, man. It requires all of you. Yeah. Yeah. So you're doing some of the pregame with NBC, right? And Kyle Shen. And so like media, you're very good on the mic. What do you, like, are you nervous at all? I mean, you've been in soup. You played in two soup rolls. Right. Are you nervous to do the media for the Super Bowl? No, I mean, it is, it's interesting. I think it'll be interesting. I don't know. I think I'll kind of just go with whatever I feel that day. And talking about the Super Bowl is going to be much different than playing in a Super Bowl. Yeah. If anything, I think talking about is way easier than playing. So, no, no. It's harder. Yeah, yeah. Like our job on Super Bowl Sunday. I think it's hard to. Well, how much would you guys do? We have to eat a lot of food. Yeah. A lot of food. So I get like a stomach bug. Get all your bets in. Yeah. All right. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. I've been a part of that, yes. Yeah. Then you have to overreact everything that just happened in the game. There it is. It seems like it's the war right there. Yeah, the team that wins of the greatest team that's ever played. Correct. Team that lost. That takes, I can fit into an NBC level situation there. Yeah. Whoever wins, it's like, is this the sort of a dynasty? Is this the best team ever? I'm still trying to decide. Do I go the route of like boosting up Seattle? So they hopefully they lose or do I tell them that they're not good and then Patriots build them up? I don't know. Yeah. So I figured that out. Yeah. So, all right. So, what about like playing in the Super Bowl you played into? How different is it like the actual when you get to the game and you know, we, we, everyone talks about like the speed. Yeah. Obviously, the halftime is longer, but was it an adjustment to be in the Super Bowl where it's like it takes a couple series to get fully into the game? It definitely does. I would speed wise. If anything, the speed is slower in the Super Bowl. Interesting. Very, very strange. I felt that way in my first Super Bowl when I was only in my second season. I felt like that was the slowest the game has felt, but it was different because it's such a, the day is so long. First of all, it's two weeks of prep, which have nothing to do. I mean, yeah, the first week you try to keep it as, as normal as possible to your, your regular preparation, but that second week is almost nothing to do with football. You go out there, you practice, but you do all this little stupid interviews and all other stuff that ain't got none to do with playing football. And then you finally get to the game and it's the longest day of your life. The, the, the pre game is longer, the, uh, timeouts are longer, the halftime is longer. So by the time you get to the fourth quarter, that first game I was dead in that fourth quarter. And I didn't know what to expect. And so we, I just ran out of fumes. I think our team ran a fumes when it came down to really having to play our best ball. So the second time around, I made a conscious effort of man, every time we get to the sideline, you better sit down and shut up. Don't waste any energy. Yeah. Celebrate nothing. Don't do nothing, but just sit there because we're going to need all energy. We got it over time that game. And, uh, it was still at that point, and I'd given it all. And, you know, it's just, it's draining. It's a draining game. Do you think you should have played defense first? Uh, time. No. And I'll tell you why you're wrong. And I tell you, I'll tell you why, why we shouldn't then I'll tell you why. And I'll tell you why. So this is, this is the thing, right? We go all day. I'll tell you why. I'll have a why off. We had just got done on defense, stopping Patrick Mahomes and their offense from going and going down and scoring the game, winning touchdown to win the game. We were up in that game by three points in the fourth quarter. They drove us down on like a 15 play drive. I remember being man to man on Travis Kelsey. On that last third down before they had to kick the field goal. And he ran a corner route, which I've seen him run on Kyle Hamilton. I want to say in the AFC championship game week before or the week before that in the visual. And he scored the touchdown. So I knew exactly the route he was running and I go pat, pat, pat, those the ball, I barely tip it out, up, tip it away. And I get up and I'm just like, holy smokes. Like I'm fried. And so then we, they kicked the field goal. They tied up. We go to overtime and I'm sitting there at the coin toss and you can kind of see like I'm just like trying to catch my breath still. So if our defense had to go back out there to start overtime, we're dead tired. Okay. Let our office go out there and fight for a little bit and then give it. And then let us go get a chance at that. Okay. But then also you gave them four downs to come back and they, did you get them to fourth down? We did get them four down. I think you got them right away. Almost was it. I think it was fourth and one. I mean, you may know better than me. I just saw such a blur first set of downs of the seconds. We definitely had them on a four down on one down on their own side of the field, which they would have maybe had to punt if they had gotten the ball first. Now, oh, yeah, I don't know. Yeah, we got no, we'll never know if you don't get it there. The game is literally over. Yeah. Yeah. So it's, it's, it's just interesting with the new overtime rules. It is. Having that extra down and knowing exactly what you need. Most definitely it is a little bit of an advantage, but I definitely know, no matter what you go defense first now. That is just what, what it is. But I think given the circumstance of our game. I'm okay. I'm a cardio. Yeah. I think it's my fault. Yeah, my cardio. I'm the one that that made the decision at the coin toss. I wouldn't have gotten tired. Yeah. On me, man. Yeah. That's all right. No, that's another chance. We were, we were, I mean, we were rooting for you guys hard because, you know, kiddos is good friend of ours and it's just, it was like right there. Yeah. And it's just, have you, how long did it take you not to bring up bad memories? But how long did it take you to get over like, I'm still not over now. Yeah. It's funny too, because I you forget, you don't forget about it, but you stop thinking about it and then you get to Super Bowl week and you start talking about it again. It's like, oh shoot, I forgot all about that. Well, here's a spin zone for you. The second loss probably helped you get over the first loss because the second loss was worse. Oh, right. I mean, look. They both sucked. Yeah. I know. But here's the thing. You guys would never, I would never, I would never take it back. I would never say, man, I wish I just didn't play in any of the Super Bowls because I was, I'm so afraid of losing them. I'll go back and I'll lose two more. No, you're going to win the next one. Yeah. But what I'm trying to say is, I'm not afraid of losing a Super Bowl. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's more meaningful to have been there and played in it and have an opportunity to go fight for it. It's also probably awesome being part of an organization where it's like, you guys have a realistic chance of being a Super Bowl every single year. Most definitely. You guys have the guys, you have the coaching stuff you have. Correct. And so it's only a matter of time, man. And the next one, we definitely win in it. I guarantee next year. Yeah, because it's one of those things. It's sports are so stupid like this, but like the Niners have been, you guys have had such an awesome run and it's just that last piece. And once you get that last piece, I feel like people will acknowledge just how good these teams have been. Most definitely. Yeah, we should just acknowledge it. Listen, all right. It's all good, man. That's just part of how it goes. And maybe the self-station will give us some extra Super powers after this after this year. Yeah, get harness it. You got to, if we just embrace it and let it soak like the Hulk. Charge up. Yeah. Charge, charge, use that charge to really, hmm, and go to the Super Bowl. I think that's the right mentality. I got one more bad memory that maybe we can talk about just a little bit. Wow. The NFC Championship game against the Eagles. Okay. Um, every quarterback on your roster gets injured. Right. Did anybody on defense volunteer to take snaps the second half? I would have. I would have volunteered, but I just, I know that was never going to fly. Now what I wish it would, we would have done. We would have aired out with CMC. I wanted to say, I mean, he did try to throw that one little reverse pass out there and it, it, he didn't throw it to anybody. But maybe if we would have let him do a little drop back or juice, juice is like a, a backup quarterback, let him kind of toss the pill around a little bit. Joanne Jennings now. Joanne Jennings could have maybe did it higher ranked in Lamar Jackson. Really? In, in, in, in, uh, ride school. Yeah. And Joe Burrow. Yeah. Yeah. He was the number two ranked quarterback in his class. He was ahead of Collar Murray to it. Isn't that crazy? Hold. No, not, not ahead of Collar Murray. He sure was. High school player. Oh, I'm pretty sure I'll find it. Yeah, please look at that. That'd be great. Collar Murray might have been number one. He might have been number three, but he was ahead of Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. I didn't know that. He's fantastic athlete. So I mean, it makes sense. Um, but yeah, I mean, at the, at the end of the day, we'd never had a shot because we could, we, we would have smoked him if you had a, we had to turn off passing in the game. I know. Like it was, we played with passing turned off. You know, it wasn't, it wasn't Kyler. It was, he was higher ranked than Sam Donald Joe, Burrow and Lamar Jackson. Still impressive. That's pretty crazy. Yeah. Still very impressive. I don't know how that happened where they switched him over to the receiver, but yeah. I, I, I got one more bad memory. It's actually not a bad memory. It's more of a, I want you to narrate what happened when, um, when you were playing in Philadelphia, that regular season, or maybe it was the year after, year after. And, uh, the little scuffle happens on the sideline. Yeah. Dre Greenlaw, he comes back to the sideline. Was he like, dude, that big Italian guy would fuck me up. Cause I bet you would never say that. Yeah. Yeah. I was not, I was. No, no, no, no, no. Big Dom is serious. No. No. I mean, you're both out for Dre Greenlaw. No, you got to look out for Dom. No, you. You don't, you don't understand Dom. Who is it? I don't understand Dom. I don't know anything about him. Yeah. I don't even know why he was there on the sideline. I don't know what that was. I mean, what did you do? He was there. Yeah, he was keeping order. He got kicked out. And then there's, and then they lost the game. They did lose the game. They did lose the game. So, I mean, look, that was actually a great ejection for Dre. It's like, yeah, I'll give up Dre Greenlaw if it means that big Dom is playing. Yeah. Yeah. No, I mean, you never want guys getting kicked out of games, man. You want to be able to see how it unfold. But yeah, big Dom, it seemed like he'd, he'd a man over there in Philly. He'd a man he, he is beloved. So he obviously doing what he's supposed to do. But in that, in that particular moment, yeah, that was unfortunate. It was wild. It was wild. It was very, very fun. It was an electric game, though, after all the build up from the year before. Right. So, all the talk of, oh, let's see who the boohoo Niners going to walk up in. I figured who said that. It's on Reddit. You know, you got to strap it up and come back in the link. And we did just that. How put built? How much, how much of like bulletin board stuff actually plays in? Because I, it's like, it's so weird because you guys are obviously all so good in professionals. But I do think there are things as like let down spots and games that you circle like, and when you have someone talk shit before a week, does it, it riles everyone up? I mean, I don't know about everyone. I can only speak personally. I think I'm always trying to make it as personal as I can because you did, there's something that's just going to give you a certain edge to about yourself if it is personal. Right. Now, it doesn't even mean that they have to say something about you or about the team to give you that edge. Like, you can make something up completely in your mind. And I do that a lot where I just make something up to be like, no, it's personal now with this team. And so, to get you in that frame of mind where it's like, it's you or me and like, almost like kind of like, you know, if we're fighting, like, that's just kind of what this game is. It's such a violent game. And it's like kind of just mono, mono, big on big. So you kind of have to have some sort of edge. And I always try to play with that sort of edge. Yeah. Do you hate to see Hawks? Yeah. I like that. I respect that. Yeah. So you want them to lose? Yes. You don't want to see the sea hawks hoisting a lumbar to your state. You can clip it however you want. However you want. Do I hate to see that or do I not want them to win? Listen, any division arrival, it could have been the Cardinals and I would have said the same thing. But when you see a team twice a year and you have the battles like they do, like, yeah, I mean, I'm, Patriots by 50. I like it. I like it. That's what I've said all week. Who else do you hate like do you like? I don't, I, there's something a little extra juice in that game. Eagles, I would assume. I guess the Eagles have kind of built up that little bit of a little bit of something, which it makes it so much more fun, by the way. Yeah. Oh, yes. So much more fun when there's something like extra about it. Yeah. That's why we have, since we have such a good division like Seattle and the Rams and we'll see if the Cardinals can, you know, make their way back. Like it makes those games so much more fun. Because when you have something more to play for. Yeah. As a player, man, it's just, yeah, it's just more fun. Yeah. You know, we created like a, I wouldn't even say rivalry, but like even Detroit, you know, a couple of years ago when we had that comeback against them and I had a mon raw in my podcast and he's talking about last year how it was like the most mad he was ever been going into a game. And I had no idea that they were even filling that sort of way. Like, but that's just what happens when you lose these meaningful games that creates like this hatred and you like, ah, I gotta go get those Niders now. Like, it's just, it makes the game much, that was more fun. When you're playing a game like the NFC Championship game and there was obviously a lot of talk afterwards about, you know, Dan Campbell, not King and Field Goals. When you're on the, the field, are you hoping that they go for it or you, because we always are argument from like when we're sitting there watching the game, it's like, if you're watching the game and you're a Niners fan, you're hoping they go for it. No, you're hoping they can feel good. You're like, if they go for it, they're going to score a touchdown. Sure. So it's like, you're almost rooting like the minute they go for it, like great, like let's just stop them. So is that going through your head? I mean, it's gotta be weird. Like when you get to that fourth down, you're like, all right, we did our job. Wait. It's so much harder when you have to play a full four downs, and we're either than just the three, because like in most instances, you're playing for the three downs. And knowing that if you get off the field on three, you're off the field after the three. But when it is a team like the lines where they're so committed to going forward on four down, you have to play an extra down. You're that we talked about being gas and how out of shape I am like shoot. I'm out there. Yeah, I'm out there just freaking out. Now four down. And so and they're so good at what they do on four down, especially back then. So, yeah, I mean, I don't know if I was hoping that they would go for it, but that's ultimately what gave us a chance to come back in that game because they did go for it, and they didn't convert in those crucial moments. Yeah. Is there one guy in the NFL that maybe a good player that thinks he has arrived already against you? But you don't think that it's arrived right? Yeah. I wouldn't know unless I unless he came out step, step forward and named himself because a lot of these guys they hold these grudges behind behind the door. I don't know about. Were you talking trash to anybody or does that have to you have to meet a certain level of player? No, I talk to anybody, but I'd say it's probably evolved over time. Yeah. It's evolved over time. What was so you were teammates with Sam Darnold for a year? Great. What was it because that was kind of in his, you know, reclamation of like, you know, his path through the jets and the panthers and the Niners to the Vikings. What was it like playing with him? Could you like on a assessment when you're playing with me is the backup, but are you like, hey, he's going to have another shot? Yeah. I mean, you actually get to you get a great look at the backup when you're the starting defense because you're going against that guy, usually on the scout team. He's getting those reps against you, you know, every single day of practice. So Sam always had this ability to throw the ball and put it wherever he wanted on the field, especially in our system, we roll our quarterbacks out a lot where you have to throw the ball on the run. And I think he throws the ball on the run, whether it's to his right or is left as good as anybody. So, I mean, you saw that every single day and he was, it was great fit for our team. I mean, he was great, dude, fit right in. Um, so yeah, I think it was only a matter of time before he got on the shot. And then he did with Minnesota phenomenal year. It's just, he had that narrative to him where I was like, he can't win the big one. So what happens? They, their team loses against a really good Rams team, right? It's a team thing. Like it's not, of course, the quarterback has to do with a lot with wins and losses because they have the ball in their hands, usually at the end of it. But, um, you know, they let him walk out that door and now Seattle has the pleasure of being able to try and go in a suit. Yeah. Yeah. It's been, it's been fun to watch. I can't help but root for, for Sam Donald, seeing how he's, he's gone through the league and just kept improving, improving, improving. It's pretty cool to watch. Uh, there's a guy that's on your team, Brock Pertie, whoo. That I think it took, it took a while for, number one for people to, like, warm up to him to be like, okay, this guy's legit. Sure. Probably just a byproduct of where it was drafted. Absolutely. If you watched him in college, a little inconsistent at times, but it seems like this season, he's unlocked something else where, like, who taught him out of Gritty? Who taught him how to, there was one game, one, no, he, Gritty, he gritty'd once, but there was one game where he, he dug it twice. He had, he had prepared two different, two different duggies and, I think it's like the Euro step into a duggy on one of them. And that's just how you know you just in a flow state. You out there just fooling around on him. You throw that pet, you just, you just, you know, you just, you just, you just, you just, you saw that play that he had when he did that. He was like, he dodged two guys and then just kind of threw it to Jews right there in the corner. And then just ran off and I'm like, that's my QB. I'm up in the box because I'm hurt and I'm up there just going crazy. But you double dug it by Brock Purti. Like, that's a top 10. Yeah, it is a top 10. He was in the zone. I'm a bear's friend. He was in the zone and he threw a pick six to start the game. Start the game, right? Like, that's not a good start. But guess what? It doesn't matter because you're Brock Purti. You go out there, you keep slinging that thing and he gave us the opportunity to win that game and he'll give us an opportunity whenever a game going forward. This man is the man and just, I mean, I go all day about him. So when did it, when did it switch for you? Because I can't, you never did. No, so you're saying them first. I didn't know he would be what he is now. Right. But was there a moment where you're like, oh, this is not just, not, I'm not saying you always didn't love them. Just saying like, was there a moment that you can remember where you're like, oh, yeah, he's on a, he is in a level that people don't realize. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, I think in terms of like, eat lead ball being played, probably that year in 23 when he was up for a contention to, to be the MVP of the league. You know, because at that position and in our league in general, you have to be consistent over a longer period of time before you really start getting crowned as a certain type of individual. You know, I'm saying like, you can be a flash in the pan. You can win in all pro ones. You can win a pro bowl one time. But you've got to be able to do it over a sustained amount of time. So, you know, I think Brock from the moment he came in when Jimmy G went down against the dolphins and he showed some elite ball being played even back then when he first came in, he's been able to do it consistently over time again and again and again and he only is getting better in last this past season. I is the best he's ever played in my opinion. And obviously I had a front row seat now since I was injured to really watch him and talk to him and be like, man, like, how are you? You just such in the zone. He's like, man, I'm just, I'm just just playing, playing ball. Like, I've been doing my thing. Well, it's, and I think it's, it's stupid by us. I talk about the media and fans. We, we, the, the round you get drafted. Yeah. It takes a while. Like, no, I've heard he gets drafted in seventh round. It takes an extra couple of years. It'll always be attached to him forever. You probably had it too where your third round draft pick like you are one of, if not the best defensive players out on the field in the, you know, the last five years. Was there a moment though that you were like, oh, I'm I'm like, awesomeness because I would imagine there's a little bit of you like, you know, when you start, you talk about the game and get some packers where it's like, you know, you're struggling or was there a moment where it clicks like, oh, I, I fucking, I'm sick. I mean, that's a great way to do it. Yeah. No, I mean, he's becoming, he's more. There was a moment in my third season where we played Aaron Rogers on Thursday night, and they obliterated us. But he came out to me after the game and I had been doing my thing that year. And he was, I was miked up. So it, the mic caught him coming up to me and be like, a Fred, you're the best linebacker in the league. You deserve to be all pro this year. And I was like, that means the world coming from Aaron Rogers Hall of Fame, Aaron Rogers, MVP multiple time. Like, and so that was kind of a moment for me where I think that kind of took me to that next level. When you have a guy of that caliber kind of giving you your flowers, I think that, that ultimately helped me go on to be an all pro that year for the first time. So it was, it was dope. It was our moment too where like the game got slower for you where you're almost in a zone where you're like, Hey, I, I can read. I know I've done this enough, enough now that I know what's going to happen. Half way through my second season, you know, that whole off season going into my second year, I was coming off of like a scope in my knee. So kind of trying to deal with that to start the year. I had Kwan Alexander next to me. He's coming off of a torn ACL, but just a straight dog like brought this swag to our defense. And I didn't have the great, the best start to my second year. It was kind of rocky a little bit. And then something just clicked where it was on a, I think, a Sunday night or a Monday night game against Seattle at home. And I had to my first two career sacks against Russell Wilson, who at the time was like the hardest guy to get on the ground. I two sacks against him, punched a ball out in prime time. We didn't end up winning that game, but like me making those type of plays that kind of let me know like, all right, boom, like I'm, I'm finding my, my groove now. And I went on to like when November's like defensive player of the month and stuff like that. But it kind of just started to like instill that confidence in me of like, okay, I can do this. That's awesome. You were talking about being up in the booth and then I saw that there was one game. Was it Seattle where you started up like up in the booth and then the vision of playoff game? Yeah. What made you make that switch? Because we're always interested in like a, a coordinator's like, I'm going to go to the sidelines now. Yeah. Now we were down 17 zero to start the game and just wasn't looking good. And so I was like, I remember being in the box because the reason why I was in the box in the first place was because we talked about it with the staff, like the training staff before the game and they're like, to give you the best chance to have a good training session going into tomorrow to ultimately have a chance to playing in the game the next Sunday. If we win, you need to be in the box because if you're on your feet, the whole game, your ankle's probably going to blow up and all this kind of stuff. So I'm like, all right. And so I'm open the box. We're watching. We're right there in the corner of the end zone where Rashit Shaheed returns his kickoff, return for a touchdown. And I'm sitting there like, oh great. Very, very way to start the game and it kind of just was not going our way early on. They're playing to the crowd, the momentum of the crowd. And I'm sitting there. I'm sitting next to Patrick Willis who's up there and I'm like, man, we've got to settle in. We've got to play the game. Like, don't let them play to the momentum. Like, let's just make them actually play the game. And he's in and he's like, Patrick said, man, they need to hear that from you. And I was like, all right, I said done deal. And so I just, I asked for a security guard to get me down there and I tried to just rally the guys. And ultimately, of course, wasn't, wasn't enough to get us over the hump, but just wasn't our day. And I was just giving any instructions on how to tackle to the kicker. So that's the thing, right? That's the thing, right? I mean, he's, yeah, the slide tackle is a little bit more natural for a kicker, right? Because you're going to lead with that leg that you're wanting to kick with. Yeah. So was it, was it the best move? No. But he should have just committed to the slide tackle. I agree. And got him on the ground. I agree. Get him right through the flag. Yeah. Yeah. At least you got him down with this. It would have been sick too. That don't feel me for slide tackle guy. Yeah. That would, you know, kick up for dirt. That would have stepped the rivalry up to the next level. Yeah. Because that would have been replayed over and over again for the next 20 years. If you want to do this, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. You got to go studs up, take him out. Yeah. Get sent off. We want to hurt nobody. Yeah. Don't hurt. Like go studs up. Like, say, yeah, I know exactly what I'm talking about. Yes. Did you get in trouble for climbing the scaffolding? No, man. That was just part of the rehab program. That was crazy. It was incredible. Yeah. Thanks, man. What was that? Just like Spider Man up there, right? No, John Lynch wasn't like, hey Fred, could you please not? No. I was like, go ahead Fred. Just climb the scaffold. You see what I'm doing? I'm doing the Taiwan Tower on Netflix. Like get the, uh, I was trying to do that guy. I was trying to do that guy. I was trying to do the free solo guy. Sick. I thought what you do was more impressive. It was faster. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Did you have what was fake, brother? It wasn't real. No family members reached out. They were like, hey, was this real? No. I think they kind of knew better. I think Fred's ankle was just broken a couple of what was going up to scaffolding. But he's going up to scaffolding anyway. Yeah. So I like I wish we had more of it. It used to be those commercials like the Chris Coolie. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's exactly right. Michael Victor on out of the stadium. Why did they get rid of that? We like, this is the time to do it. Bring it back. Bring it back. Like you, you wouldn't even know the difference. Yeah. They did a good back then too. I believed it. That was a fancy football stuff, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was incredible. Those were the AI videos before AI videos. Correct. I forget who like threw the ball to themselves and I had to run over and catch it. That might have been a fake. No. It was like a receiver or something. Like if you did not use the ball, did not use the ball. and then through another ball and then bounce them into two different receivers hands. Super coolies through the wall. The wall, through the wall. The draw was tough. Johnson might have been blindfolded at one time doing those. We'll get to work on writing some of those. Okay, good. What are you thinking for next year for the 49ers? What are the goals for next year? It's always super bowl. How do you manage that? Like you show up day one, is it to win the division? Or you're like, hey, the goal is to win the super bowl? No, yeah, the goal is always to win the super bowl. And that's just been what it is since I've gotten here. Like we have a pedigree where you walk in man, that building has the trophies in the case right there. You got five Super Bowl trophies and it's like, this is our standard. This is what it is. If you don't get this, then it's not enough. So that is the standard. That is the goal every year. But then you look at, okay, now we got to break this thing down a little bit in the bite-sized pieces. Cause you're not going to win the super bowl day one of OTAs, phase one. You know what I'm saying? All right, how are we going to build this thing up from the ground up? And then we go. So, you know, we got some things we got to now work through. We got a new defensive coordinator, he and who were super happy about getting him on board, building our defense back up, finding ways to improve in all areas, offense defense special teams, to give ourselves a chance to win the division, to secure a one seed. Cause at the end, that's what everybody's fighting for. Everybody wants the one seed because you play one less playoff game to ultimately go to Super Bowl. You know, you want to just give yourself a chance to go to a Super Bowl to win that game. It wouldn't, you know, I have the best team there. What, how about you international game, Suck? 6, 7, 9, I don't know. I'm just, yeah, they, they're, they're tough. Yes. They are tough on just like the, the scheduling part of it, you know, like cause you have to recover from the long flights and all that stuff. We got to wake up early. You guys have to wake up early. Yeah. To watch it. But I loved, I will say I loved playing in Mexico. That was, that was sick. That was about that part. We, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, I was a podcast rivalry with our producer, Hank. He loves international games. We, it's gotten too much. At a boy. It's, it used to be special. There's too many of them. And they're going to get to the 60, you're, everyone's going to have to play one soon. Yeah, I mean, that's, that's the goal. They're trying to make it more of a worldwide sport. Right. So you don't care. Yeah, it's our America. America. The Super Bowl overseas. We can't have that. No, we thought of war. We thought of war back in 7, 7, 6, 7, 6. Imagine playing a Super Bowl like in China. They're going to do it. Yeah. Why not? They're going to do it. And we sick. Like, they can say to him. No, it's like 200,000, you know, it's like true gladiator. You know, I'm saying, oh, played in the Colosseum. Yeah. Let me build the Colosseum and play the. OK, I'll call it a. In the Roman Colosseum, right? Yeah, yeah, that was. You have a tiger out on the field, too. Yeah, that's right. Tigers, bears. Yeah, like sick. I got a question for you about about the green dot. Yes. When you were in the green, you were the green dot, right? I do. So what, what happens? What happens with the green dot? Like, what does that sound like before the play starts? Because I know on offense, we know what's going on. We've heard those play calls a million times. Yeah. Maybe I'm being stereotypical about defensive quarters. Like I said, some of them are psychos. Yeah. I imagine it's a little bit looser sometimes in the communication on defense. It just depends on the character. It depends on the guy. It depends on the scenario of the game that we're in. Because it might be a flustered coach that you deal with. You know, you kind of got to filter out what he's trying to tell you. Yeah. But yeah, it's just, it's just a microphone at the end of the day. It's a one way microphone, which that part of it sucks. Because like a lot of time, I want to be able to just communicate back at some points. But if you want to say something back to him, you got to either sign language it to them or you got to run over to the sideline and communicate whatever you need to communicate. But at the end of the day, man, I feel like defense in what I do with my microphone is so much simpler than what a quarterback has to deal with. Quarterbacks, the verbi... I mean, I think that's why they have wristbands, right? It's like the play call would come to be like V6. And then you just flip the thing up and just look at the play and tell everybody. Yeah. But the times where you had to, you know, the Peyton Manning's and the Tom Brady's of the world where you had to like give out these long calls of like, all right, can to alert, so you have three different plays in one thing. And for us, it's like... Bear. You know, like you just say one word. It means this. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, it's just so much different. But that doesn't mean that it's just easy for us on defense. Like we have to now play off of whatever the offense is showing us and giving us. You know, so it's like, yeah. Captain Mouse game. All right, I got a couple last questions. Strongest Offensive Limon. Can't name Trent Williams. Yeah. And I know that's a lot of people who just like, they put their hands on you. And you're like, oh, shit, that's different. I've come across a couple of those guys. I guess it depends on the position. I think the one that came to mind first was Creed Humphries with Kansas City. Phenomenal Center. Pen Asewell. Yeah. Got Paul Neeson's strength at tackle. And you could feel it. It's different. It's different. Yeah. Definitely. I mean, there's a reason why some of these guys are like elite, you know, I'm saying. They just got a different something about them. Yeah. It comes to that. And you know, you pair that with like the ballerina feet like Trent Williams. That's where you get Hall of Fame. Right. Right. You could've also said, Kittle. I would have allowed you to say that. Kittle got a nice strong firm base to him. That's why he's known as the best block and tied in the game. Yeah. Right. He has blocking, run blocking. He does it all. He'll be back doing that again soon. So yeah, that's probably who I'd go with. Okay. And then you, you're not rooting, or you're rooting for the sea oxalus. But give us your, so you said pages by 50, but what is your non-biased? Yeah. Actual what you think's going to happen in the Super Bowl. What I think is going to happen, I think the game waxed to be a lot closer than people think. You know, I think there are people are already saying they're crowning Seattle to be the winners because of how loaded they are. And they very well could make it lopsided if, you know, if the game gets away from the Patriots. If the moment's too big for Drake and he ends up throwing two, two interceptions or they fumble a snap or something. It can snowball that way. But the way that I hear Mike Vable being talked about, kind of in that same bell, check what I'm not calling him bell, check. I'm just saying in terms of prepping his guys for situational ball. If they can win some of those moments where they're, you look up at the end of the game. All right, they won on third down on offensive defense. They won the time of possession battle. They had to take away versus Seattle. They couldn't get the takeaway. That's where you're going to see. All right, that's what's going to give the Patriots best chance to win the game. Okay. So actual prediction, actual prediction. I guess you'll have to tune in NBC and find out. No, you can do one here and then you can change it. So that way you can be right both. You already gave my prediction. Okay. Yeah. That's right. Okay. All right. My last question, the robot question, RHO BACK.com promo code take 20% off your first purchase. QZips, polo's hoodies, joggers shorts, rowback.com promo code take. Would you have answered a soaking question? Probably not. Okay, there we go. That's good thing. Yeah, that's that. That's, you know, just got to, you know, respect to my wife and. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's that. It actually kind of sucks that once like the world figured out about BYU and soaking, if you just see a BYU guy, it's like they're going to ask. It's like it sucks. It's actually not fair for you. It is what it is. I feel like I'm with a territory. I'm happy I asked that that one. Yeah, thank you. That's a good move. That's a good move. I look sadder you for BYU basketball this year. Yeah, very excited. Yeah, I mean, we should win it all, no? I don't fall too closely. Did you get any of that cookie money? You're the trouble. Yeah, you get an tap into the crew. I'm not having, I haven't got tapped into the crew because I need to know that there's a lot of it. That guy though is taking a lot of credit. It's like another guy who's there's lots of guys. There's a lot of guys. A lot of money. A lot of money over there. Yeah, so I mean, we should win it all. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I went to Utah. I actually went to University of Utah to, to, for a game this year, but it was like, it's a cool setting. And Utah BYU is such an awesome game every year. What was your record in the Holy War? Ofer. Sickening, I know. But that's why I kind of, I lived through our guys now because I feel like we won like the past three or four meetings. Yeah, I know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, and BYU football feels like it's on the rise. It's on the rise, baby. Rising shot, the cuckers are out. The cookie money. Again, you should get free cookies. At minimum, you should get free cookies for life, right? For life is crazy, but sure, why not? I don't see why not yet. That's not my dedication to the program. Yeah, the freshman eight million dollars a year, they can give you free cookies for life. It's dropping the bucket. Why not? What's the coovers name again? Cosmo. Cosmo. Cosmo does too much. You think so? Yeah, he does too much. I feel like he does some more. No. No, this is also very, well, this is very personally motivated by me where it's like if I bet on a BYU game, it's like 10 p.m. at night. Yes. I'm getting my teeth kicked in and Cosmo's jumping through a loop, like a hoop of fire. That's right. So I understand that that's probably part of it. There's a person who's gentle. A little gentle. It's like rooting against Brock Pretty and having double-duggy on you. Yeah, right. Exactly. And he'll rub it in. Extra cosmon. That's why you got to join the, or side though. You join our side then you start laughing at everybody else. I got to deal with it. Yeah, then you got Cosmon. Cosmon on your side would be pretty good. Yeah. He is pretty awesome mascot. He is. I got one last last question for you. Because we interviewed Jake Bobo. Has Jake Bobo ever put his hands on you? No. Bobo. He's a great blocking wide receiver. He'll put you in there. Yeah, he's pretty, you know, that's Bobo's guy. Yeah. You'll get Bobo pancake. Bobo? Is that you? You'll get Bobo. If you get Bobo, yeah, that's listening. I'll make Bobo booboo on himself. Oh, good. That's rival. Yeah, I like that. Yeah, you like that. You like that. Yeah. Here you go. All right, well Fred, this has been awesome, man. Thank you so much. And we love watching Playball and excited to see you back next year. Thanks, fellas. Appreciate having me on. Fred Warner was brought to you by Twisted T. Twisted T is the absolute best. I think you're going to have some twisted T this weekend. You're going to have super twisted. I'm ready. I'm ready for now. Twisted, you have one now. Passing the crack one open. Yeah, crack one open. Maybe you'll lighten up a little bit. Yeah. Here we go. It's not being a grump. I'm the fucking, I'm the son today. Hey, say something nice about it so I'm getting you this twisted today. You're the son today. Yeah. I'm a beacon of shining light upon all this podcast. Can I have a, yeah, I know what else I'll do. It's very, very good. Go Raspberry. They're all delicious. We love Twisted T. It's a refreshing hard iced tea made with real brood tea, 5% alcohol. Twisted T is an ultimate drink to pair with the biggest game of the football season. Whether you're hanging out at a friend's house, catching a game at the stadium, if you're out to bar, if you're day drinking with the buddies, twisted T is there to turn your big game up a notch. Make a good time, a great time. Grab a refreshing twisted T today, catch it, twisted T is the best. How's that raspberry hank? Delicious. Of course it is. They're all good. And now we got Jake Bobo. Okay, we now welcome on a very, very, very, very special guest. He will be playing in Super Bowl 60 on Sunday. It is Jake Bobo, our wide receiver one. Is that okay for us to say that? You're too good to me. I mean, listen, you're a legend in this room right now. Let's start there, actually. We should just start with some of us in this room, Max is who I'm pointing to and hank as well. Thanks, Max. Bet, bet you to score touchdown at 35 to one in the NFC championship game. I saw that. Yeah. And that was an incredible route you ran. Well, I appreciate it. Yeah. Thanks a lot. Did you know in that, in that play, you're like, all right, I got one on one coverage. I'm going to break this down. Like, do you know the ball was coming to you? Because you only had what two catches all season? Yeah. Three, yeah. Two, three all season. A couple in last, last few games. I'll tell you, when you play receiver alongside Jacks and he's getting clouded, he's getting double teamed all game and you've just got, you're just playing one on one for the whole game. It makes things a lot easier. So I had a pretty good idea once that safety rolled the jacks that the ball would probably be coming my way. And so don't drop it. Yeah. Yeah. Let's not sell yourself short. Oh, fantastic. Yeah, Max, I love you guys. I love you guys. I want to say something to you, ask. No, I just want to thank you. Draft Kings, we did a little betting competition from draft Kings and I took you live 35 to the one and it's basically paying, it's paying for my wedding. Hey, listen. I meant to come here with a wedding invite to give you because it's felt only right since when's the wedding? It is in July. It's in the crib and you probably won't go, but you're invited, but you are invited for paying for my wedding. You paid for my wedding. So you're the man for that. You will forever be. I have a jersey coming on the way. I got a t-shirt coming on the way. In my deck. I'm a big Eagles fan, but you are forever my favorite non-Eagles player for the rest of my life. I don't know how much that means. Maybe the first kid, Bobo? Oh, Bobo is a good name. Bobo is a good name. Bobo is a good name. Bobo, no, no, it flows. It flows. It flows. It flows. It flows. It flows. It flows. It flows. It flows. That's your kid's going to grow up to be a Bobo. That's my kid's going to love that. Yeah. Don't say yourself short. The route that you had on that catch was sick. That was a good route. Did you know I got him? Yes. Anytime you get to run that route, whoever the DB is, when Sam's got all day back there and that guy's just sitting there, you're going to have a very hard time covering any double moves like that. And again, hate to beat a dead horse. You got two on jacks. There's going to be one on everybody else. Yeah. Yeah. Other times in the game when you will be in the game and run a perfect route, you'll be like, will the ball then come to me because jacks Smith and Jigb is right there. Yes. It is like, I'm playing quarterback. I'm throwing it to that guy. Yeah. Right. You can't get upset about it. It's also part of playing receiver. Just when you're match up and if you have jacks on the other side and you get to ball, that's the unfortunate result. However, like I said, if he's on my team, I'm throwing it. Throwing it in. You're also an awesome blocker. Well, I appreciate it. You were you're graded out as like what the number one blocking legacy of the NFL. Yeah, bro. Tough. Yeah. Got to be tough in the run game quicker than fast. Yeah. Are you fast? No. Are you sure? Well, I feel like you're deceptively fast. Classic right there. That's another one deceptively fast. Yeah. Deceptively fast. Yeah. I mean, you do realize that the difference between running a 49940, which you did run at the combine, you know, five, but the five is like, five is slow. Well, 499, you're still, you know, kind of fast. What happened on that day? I don't know. Now there's a lot that my excuse is we had a bit of a weather issue at UCLA, no indoor facility. Okay. So there was some rain coming down, but it wasn't going to be fast either way. What were we hoping for? I would love to run like a 4-7. Yeah. We can do that. We can make that work. We didn't run a 4-7. Yeah. But yeah, 4-9, just say 4-9. Don't throw the extra nine in there. Yeah. Sorry, my bad. Well, I just like, honestly, though, like it's impressive, 499 is like, you were really close to being slow. Really close. Really, really close to being slow. Still slow, but I understand what you're doing. But it's almost like a cool number. Like if I, if you ran a great drive, everyone be like, all right, he's slow. 499, you're like, oh shit, he's really got there. Yeah. Didn't have a guard against that, yeah. They're going to overrun you. Yeah, exactly. They're going to expect it. You have to accept of speed. You're slower than you look. Uh-huh. Yeah. Perfect guy for the back shoulder catch. Yeah, exactly. Or you could have marked yourself and be like, yeah, I'm like a chest piece. I'm a match-up nightmare. Carried receiver slash tied in. Yes. Put me anywhere. You can't stop it. No, you can. Wait, so fast. I do want to go back though, like to, you know, Duke UCLA undrafted. Was there a moment that you're like, this is probably like, it's not going to work out for me? Yes. Or in the store. Or in the store. Or in the store. Yeah. And immediately started applying Bank of America. Fidelity. I kid you not. I was in Los Gatos right down the road. And doing like the draft prep. And I'm like, dude, this is, this isn't going to go well. And so I literally applied for a job at Bank of America. And then the 49 was very, I got two calls on draft night for undrafted spots. One of them was Seattle Seahawks. The other will remain unnamed. But that's all you need, dude. Yeah. Give me an op. Give us an op and, you know, try to make something happen. Yeah. When did you realize that you can do it? And maybe you let's wait on applying for Fidelity. Dude, I think maybe I'm still wondering that. I'm still waiting for it. You can do it. You think so? Yeah. This should be the moment right now. You're good enough. I love you guys. Yeah. You got this. Max bought your jersey. So you, you're sick. What did you pay for that? $2.50? Or did they pay you to buy it? You had to do it through the custom. Customs? Yeah. You could put your, your any last name, any number on it. You could extra for that. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I do think there's something to be said, like, you know, talking about being undrafted and getting a call, like, I think your name probably helped. Oh, 100%. Bobo is just an awesome name. Easy to say. Yeah. Fun to say. Yeah. You yelled at a lot just because coaches like saying, Bobo. Yeah. Yeah. Big Bobo energy. Yeah. Yeah. Massive. Yeah. What is, what is big Bobo energy? Well, I mean, I'm assuming that could mean a couple different things. Yeah. How would you describe it, though? In the, in the footballs? Yeah. We'll go football sphere. Okay. Um, just toughness. Great. Yeah. You know, not real fancy, not fun to look at. But is good, you know, somebody is going to get it done for you. Yeah. I mean, listen, you were, you were doing a great job of underselling yourself because I've read some of the things that your teammates have said about you. Yeah. The more Bobo move, yeah. Yeah. My teammates would not say, you know, poor things. Yeah. Yeah. You want them to think less Bobo. Yeah. Yeah. Correct. But, but DK, especially like, had really nice things to say about you about how he watched you and he was like, I can actually learn from this guy. Yeah. Did you tell him how to punch a fan? No, no, no, he had that. Okay. I got there. Um, dude, DK's a best. Yeah. And he gets, uh, he gets a bad rap because he, he will, you know, he does tend to lose it from time to time exhibit A. Um, but he took such good care of me, dude. I've got a handful of stories that, um, both me and Jack's, when we got to see the alley showed us the ropes, um, whole room really like the great teammate and people don't know that about it. What, what did you learn from him? What did I not learn from him? Covered recognition, um, football wise, how to add kind of a level of, of physicality to your game because that's he's the ultimate physical receiver. Um, going up and high point and football is going up and, uh, attacking the ball while it's in the air, how to be physical in and out of routes. I'm a smaller guy, um, but he's got kind of a nuance to where he doesn't get flagged a lot. O. P. I. wise, even though he is so strong because he's really good at shoving DB to get him off him, but not necessarily, you know, showing the official. Don't extend the arm. Correct. Yeah. Chicken wing here and there. Yeah. Uh, yeah. Uh, he was great. Yeah. When you, when you, when you heard him say those, was it like, oh, that's kind of cool. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely being the undrafted, uh, receiver that I was to have your, your star, your receiver once saying that about you is a, that's a confidence builder. Yeah. So you did mention like you, you still don't know if it's going to work out. I think it is. You're in the Super Bowl. You score a touchdown. The F.C. Championship game. Was there a moment in these last few years where you're like, okay, I, I, I, I can do this like, I belong here. Right. I think as, you know, as an athlete, unless you're, um, you're jacks, unless you're coop, like you've got a little bit of that imposter syndrome. You know what I mean? Um, and so I, I, I've, I've battled that ever since being the league. Um, and it's something that I continue to battle clearly. Um, but yeah, man, I mean, you make a big play. I'm him. You wake up the next day and it's like, okay, well, now I've got a, I got to do that again. Yeah. Yeah. That's, yeah, that makes sense. You have a fair block that you've had. Yeah. Yeah. The one in, uh, actually was here. Uh, we, we gave, uh, can a little sweep and I had to go in and crack a, crack a line backer and he ended up cracking me pretty good, but it still looked good on film enough to where I was, you know, I put, you know, put my body on the line a little bit for, for Kenny. Yeah. What is it about, uh, Coach McDonald because he's, you know, he's a young guy. Dude, it's crazy. I have him on it. I know. I, I think I, I saw the stat that he's the first coach to coach in the Super Bowl that didn't play it down in college football. He's like, he could have been in Wall Street. Yeah. He seems like a somewhat of a genius. What, what is it though that he does that like has this team playing at such a, because even before the season, you guys weren't supposed to be here. No. And, and you are. Yeah. Um, I think schematically he's different. You, like you mentioned that defensively, he does things to whereas an offense in training camp. I was seeing 15 guys on the field at some point. We played him in Baltimore my rookie year and it genuinely felt like they had 13 guys on the field in the, the, the defense they were playing. So schematically he's in a different world than, than what I've seen. Um, leadership style wise, he's just a, he's just a, a guy. Yeah. Like the players like him. He's fun to have a conversation with. Um, yeah, he, he does a great job of, um, being your friend. But also at the same time, there's a, you have a massive respect for the guy. How he pulls that off. I'm not entirely sure. Like I, I'd love to go have a few beers with him, but at the same time tomorrow, I know, and he knows he could cut me. Right. You know, so, uh, it's an, you know, it's an interesting relationship he has with the guys and, and, you know, we'd run, we'd run through a wall form. Yeah. Have you met his son? Haven't met his son. Well, actually, yes, I have. Okay. He's actually quite often. Okay. That's good. I think that one came back to bite him. Yeah. It's the graphic. Don't think the graphic was the graphic was really tough. The guys are jerks. Yeah. I don't know. Was that our graphic? It might have been our graphic. It's good that you cleaned up your answer there too, because I was, when you said, no, I haven't met him. I was going to be like, well, neither has Mike. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Now we're good. Now we're good. It didn't seem like one of those answers where he spends time with his kids. It's just like during the, uh, end of an NFL season or the playoffs, it's not in the house that much. Yeah. He's got a lot going on. We just talked. How does he get so good schematically at this point in the year? He's in the lab. He's in the lab. And we did clean it up because we saw our friend Mitchell Schwartz, like, was like, this is how it operates. He was like, I guarantee you that Mike McDonald's family is in the facility a lot. Correct. So it's like, he's just talking about being the whole dog. Right. Oh, nice. All the time. What kind of dog? Uh, it's a huge, okay. It's a lab. Because that could have gone a different way if you said like a chihuahua or something. No, I mean, yeah. I met the guy. He's a good guy. It's a good, sturdy dog that you can throw a ball to. Do you know the name? A dog. Okay. But it's a friendly dog. Friendly dog. A guy's dog. Very friendly. Okay. Okay. Did it creep you out if the dog's name was Bobo? Uh, no. It's a good dog name. It's a great dog name. Great dog name. Bob Colin Bow. But no, I don't think Coach Max Dog's name is. Okay. It'd be great. Awesome. What's, uh, what's Cubiac like? Oh, dude. Cooves is a man. Speaking of another potential guest. Yeah. He does, he does, he does a thing where, uh, he doesn't say a lot of words. But for some reason, you want to run through the wall for him. You know, I don't know how he pulls that off. Um, very few, like a dry humor guy, like a crack a joke and he's actually funny, but doesn't say a lot of words. Um, again, schematically, both these guys are in a different world than kind of what I've been around. He's got this guy's offense and what he wants to attack on a week to week basis. Um, I'm sure he's locked away in his hotel room right now doing exactly that. Kind of guy is. Um, and we'll execute whatever he's got for us. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. How did he tell you guys that he was gonna, he was gonna say goodbye? Or did you guys get down? Nothing out yet. Actually, I don't think that's. Not officially. Not officially. Yeah. Not officially officially. Yeah. Okay. No, right. I mean, if you met the guy, this is a head coach. You know, at one point, he's gonna be a good head coach. Correct. What about, I know you're not related to him, but how do you think Mike Bobo's doing? Georgia Bulldogs, where they end up? They, I think he actually got a little criticism first play calling. And did they get to the semis? They got to the semis. They lost the Ole Miss. They were favorites. That's right. Yeah, I mean, that's tough. It was a great game. I don't know how he's, he's got to recruit and stuff, dude. Well, you got to defend all Bobos. You got to defend all Bobos, huh? It's a name, dude. So his son's name is Jake. Yeah, really? It's kind of crazy. It's a little odd. Yeah, that is a good one. I haven't met Jake Bobo on it. You guys got to get it on a group chat together. Yeah, we got to figure that out. Yeah, it's a poor group. Bobo is a great guy. Right, right, right, right, right. How's your dad doing? No, he's good. How's your, how's your, how's your, how's your, you know? Is there a moment in your childhood where you realized your name was awesome? A probably high school, you know, like elementary and middle, you get made fun of. Yeah. Those fucking idiots. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, so that was, I don't want to say tough, but as you get into high school, it's like, I'll do this kind of stuff. Yeah, Bobo. Yeah. We actually, we had Chris Burman on the show last Friday. And we told him Bobo cop would be good for you. Yeah, yeah. That's a good one. If that's okay with you. I'm 100% good with that. I suggested we are all Bobo sexuals. But yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm with that too. You're cool, okay? All right, cool. I don't think boomer's going to take that one. No, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be surprised if he did not. I'm so weird. Also wouldn't be surprised if he did. Yeah, yeah. Good. No, it would sound great. Yeah. So you went to high school, obviously in New England. Where did you catch your first high school touchdown pass? Caught it in Gillette, but it sounds like you might know that already. Well, I know that's crazy. Yeah, that's wild. I thought you were going to say at your high school state. Yeah, that would be like, yeah, that checks out. Yeah. So it was actually a bad Gillette, man. What was that then? I was good. There was not a lot of people in the stands. But it was, you know, it's Gillette's day, I'm home with the Pat. Did they have the lighthouse up there yet? Yeah, they did. Oh, that must have been iconic. So how many people have you gotten tickets for family members? 15. And is it all we were allotted in there? They're all wearing sea hawkscares. That's the rule. Okay, yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Got to have hawkscares on. Yes. And now I'll be rooting for the sea hawks. Yeah, I mean, if they want to go to the party after. Correct. That's a hundred percent. That's a big one. Yeah, just hold that over there. Have there's no pastures in that section? Yeah, no, dude, it's good. They're always out to support us. Are you more of a Duke Blue Devil or UCLA Burund? Duke Blue Devil. Got love for both schools, you know, both great institutions. But I spent more time in Durham. Dude, don't give me that. Durham's a great place to be. Hey, Duke, what were you there? Duke basketball. Yeah, during the basketball world. Were you there when Coach Kay was still coaching? Yeah, yeah. Was were you part of the crowd that yelled at? For the one they lost to you and started to lose? I really lost. Not going to see that. Not when they lost to UNC in the final four. But when they lost to UNC in the last game that he coached the camera, they lost twice at your UNC. No, how do you remember that? I had no idea. I have a little fact sheet. I'll give you after this. No, I didn't get to go to a lot of hoop game. They made you stand the whole game. Like those, those, those students are crazy. You're a remarkably chill for Duke guy. Yeah, I think you're more of a UCLA Burund. We get a bad rap, dude. Bad, bad rap because of the, maybe there is some arrogance around Duke basketball. I didn't experience that. Maybe there is. Was it, is it, we're going to like playing division one college football and knowing that like you're not the main draw on this camp? Like the basketball is just so much bigger. Very, very odd. Now they've done a great job recently of kind of trying to to bat when I was there wasn't even close. And it kind of ticked me off a little bit. Yeah. But that's part of the, like he says. It's part of the game. It is. Yeah. Were you think that Duke should have made the, the college football playoff this year? Yes. Yes. I was on that, I was on that bus. How do you leave the ACC champ out? Well, because Miami lost four games. My mother, oh, oh, but it's ACC champ. My amuse better, but then also, Jamie was better. Did you watch that conference championship game? I don't think they were. Jamie wasn't playing in the conference championship because I was a conference one. Yeah, they're, yeah, they're on. I was at the game. Where are you? Yeah, but that's Jamie football. You didn't watch the second half. No, I didn't. Yeah, there you go. Yeah, come in. I was first half. It was second half ball. It was bad ball. It's very bad ball. The snowballs for good. But we're second half squad. Yeah, I mean, those metaglasses. Yeah, but they're not on right now. They're not. They'd be blinking. Yeah. They've got like safety features so that you can tell. It's sick. So, so Duke, then UCLA, I read that you, at UCLA, you graduated with a degree in transformative coaching and leadership. Yeah. So that's just a whole shit. No, great course. What is that? Incredibly enlightened part of my academic year? Transformative coaching and leadership. Like did Grand Cardone teach that class? No, we had a lot of great guest speakers. Spent a lot of time in the classroom. Spent a lot of time in the field. Coaching and leading. What are you coaching? You know, you sports in the air. Oh, you're going to shame us because you're you know, helping out the kids. Yeah, yeah, exactly. You're putting on it. Yeah. Like intermural football teams, things like that. No, no, they wouldn't let us coach the, the UCLA students. I don't know, I don't know why, but we, you know, just like youth baseball and stuff. What is transformative coaching? Yeah, what's the transformative? Well, you've got transformative versus Trent, uh, uh, uh, transactional leadership. Okay. How do you like me now? Yeah, that's nice. That's nice. Uh, like, it's an honor. Transactional. Um, um, Bobby Knight. Okay. That, that kind of coach. Yeah, tough coach. Transformative. Um, some other coaches. Okay. So yeah, not Bobby Knight. No, not Bobby. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, he had a good time. Played, yeah, yeah, good ball that year. It sounds like the class was like, some coaches are transactional. Some are transformative. All right. Sure you're going to be. You know, you definitely want to be transformative. If you want to do, have you been, has there been a coach that's transformed? Do you? Good question. Yes. They're actually has. Do you want me to get into the details? Yeah, yeah. If I please. My freshman year at Duke, uh, our receivers coach was named, uh, a, uh, a, a, a, Jared Parker. Okay. Bleep that voice crack out. Yeah, I got you. Um, and also when you almost forgot his name. No, no, no, transform you that. Because it's, it's, he's white, but it's G-E-R-A-D. Okay. How would you pronounce that? Yeah, yeah. Gerard. I was pronounced in Jersey, Jerry. That's why I did. Yeah, J-J. J-P. Anyway, regardless, uh, basically taught me how to play receiver. Um, was a receiver in his day, taught me all the intricacies of, of releases, of route stems, leverages. Um, and then, of course, after my freshman year, he gets hired on a Penn State, haven't spoke to him in a while. So this will be a good shout out, um, G-P. Yeah. Thank you. Um, guys, the man he's a headman at Troy University. Oh, nice. Nice. Yeah. The, uh, I can, can I ask you a question about Sam Darnell? I read an article, uh, that Sam Darnell is like, so calm and doesn't let things bother him at this point. Is it, have you noticed that like in terms of just every day? Like, uh, are you okay? Are you not, you know, this is the NFC championship game? Are you not like, I need, let me see something here. And he just gets in the huddle call to play. All right. So how did he throw his touch on pass? Yeah. So, I mean, he's, he's, he's, he's a dude. Um, again, a guy you want to follow, but also a guy that I want to go have a couple beers with this, with this guy, um, at the same time, also happens to, to, um, have an absolute rocket of an arm, too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We've had him on the show. He was, he was a lot of fun to have on. And he's just like, he's a man. It's, it's such an awesome story. Yeah. Because it's a best. He was completely cast off in the NFL. It's just, now he's playing in the Super Bowl. It's crazy. Yeah. It's crazy. He doesn't seem like a, like a big vocal leader. Maybe he is behind the scenes. I don't know. Yeah. I mean, honestly, it does a good job. But, yeah. But, what? I'm just wondering if there's like somebody on the offense that is more of like the louder voice. Somebody that's like, you know, more confrontational, more, how to get you hyped up. I, I put AJ Barner in there. Yeah. Just an absolute stud. And we'll raise his voice for sure. Most of the time when he does raise his voice, you're not exactly sure what's coming out of his mouth, but it's loud. Yeah. So it was just one of those cats gets you going, but you're not sure what he's talking about. Yeah. Um, but no, Sammy does a great job, dude. Pre-game, um, you know, in meetings, he, he runs his own meeting on, on Thursday afternoon. He gets the whole offense and air gets up in front of everybody. All right. This is what we're going to do. Here's our base plan. Third down plan goes over different looks. Um, we'll be in there for probably 30, 45 minutes and he's just running this meeting. Um, so he's, he's the captain. Um, and he's, I mean, he's led us to the, to the promised land. Yeah. Yeah. And you guys also have like a great fitness, uh, wellness, game day, management program. I know that you always have your, your body armor, your water. What color sports strength do you guys? Oh, it's a great question. Big game. It's a big game. So we'll probably, uh, we'll probably switch it up for this one. No, big games. You've got to like, you got to change what you're doing. Yeah. Um, so that's a really good question. I, I probably won't get the answer for, for that for you, but, um, yeah, ask, ask a couple of the other. What's your favorite type of like flavor? Uh, let's see here. I mean, you got to go classic, uh, lemon. That's what I would do. That's good one. That's a really good flavor. If I was in charge of our, our nutrition, um, package for game day, unfortunately, I'm not right, you know, and so I, you know, just like you guys, I'm very interested to know what we'll be getting for the big game. Yeah. It'll be really fun to find out. That'd be fascinating. Are you guys, uh, are you still pissed about the elevator fight? What happened in the elevator? The, the Rams versus Seahawks. Oh, dude, how sick is that? So what happened? Can you tell us what happened? It happened. I know as much as you are. I read the article. No, that's not true. The story, the story that like went down is that they, they got in a fight, uh, because the Rams were making fun of Cooper Cup. And then the Seahawks coaches come down and they tell everyone and you guys were like fired up, like, you got to go get them. Right. Why do you think we had such a big second half? So it did have. So were you, so is that, are you still mad about the elevator? Are you like, no, we got our justice because then we beat him again. Right. You know, you got it. Yeah, you get him twice, send him packing. Um, I think that's pretty, that's, I'm solid on, on that justice, right? Yeah. But you were pissing the moment, right? Yeah, dude, that's like my freaking stepfather. Yeah. Cooper Cup. Yeah. Just step dad. Yeah, not to get justice. You do not say that about it. Would you, would you, would you fight a grown man for Cooper Cup? I would die for Cooper Cup. Oh, okay. I love that. Yeah. In an elevator. In an elevator. Yeah. If it happens to be, I love that story. What's your game plan getting hands on another guy in an elevator? How do you attack that? Well, it's, you know, I've got to use my reach. It's a very small, compact space. Yeah. Hopefully it's not a compact individual. I have a harder time with those guys. Um, so yeah, get hands on early. Keep your space. Don't let him, you know, get into your body because that'll be a problem. Mm-hmm. How do you feel about, uh, the NFL and their catch rule? Do you know what a catch is? No. Uh, yeah. Uh, yeah, yeah. End to play with the ball. Yeah, that's a good, that's a good, that's a good way to wiggle around. You just don't drop the ball ever. Right. Then they can't say that. Just catch it and then probably catch it. What about getting your feet down when you came from college where you like, oh, shit, I got it. I got it. It honestly wasn't that, uh, kind of difficult. What was difficult is the stripes on the ball. Like Jermar chase said. Did he say that? Yeah. I mean, yeah, me and Jermar have a lot in common. Yeah. Um, yeah, dude, the stripes took me about a year to get used to it. It's just a floating object instead of a spiraling object. Yeah. Is there a, um, is there a stadium that's like the hardest to catch a ball in? No, usually, um, have a problem sometimes with, uh, Detroit's lights, being indoor and such. Um, but now, dude, just, yeah, just catch a ball. Just catch a ball. How, uh, how fast is Rishi G? He's very fast. Yeah. Are you like, that's not fair. That makes me angry. And he's fast, dude, and it looks good. Yeah. Yeah. The game against the 49ers, it was basically, I don't want to say game over, but it felt like game over how allowed the run. Look at that guy running and he's just like, yeah. Again, doesn't look like he's running that fast. He's running very fast. Can you tell me how, who started the more Bobo? It was, uh, Chad Morton, my rookie year was the running backs coach. And it started as a day, get the defense in training camp, because, you know, you make a few plays and it was his way of saying, um, I don't know if this is allowed or not. Like this is a skinny white kid, yeah, making plays on you as a defense. Like how, how, how do you let that happen? Right. Essentially, right. And then it kind of grew into, uh, kind of a bigger deal. So I'm very thankful for, for him for starting that. More Bobo rock. It was more of a dig rather than, but it's you, you've kind of co-opted it. And now it feels like a lot of Seahawks fans. It's like a rally. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm in. How'd you choose your number? Dude, good question. Uh, thank you. My granddad played at SMU. Yeah. Go ponies were 19. My dad was a player at Dartmouth College was a receiver, war 19. Um, and so I figured I'd kind of just keep that going, you know, all the Bobo's together, all the Bobo's you have a collection of jerseys of my own of all the Bobo's like throughout history. I can't say I have the, uh, 70 late 60s SMU ponies. The pony expressed that would be a tough jersey. Yeah, probably. Yeah, yeah. I'd rock that, but I don't have it. Now what, uh, what kind of name is Bobo? Where's it from? French. Oh, came in through New Orleans, B-E-A-U, B-E-A-U. Oh, wow. That's cool. That's also a cool name. It is. If you ever played for the Saints, you have to change it back. Change it back? Yeah. Jersey would, would go double platinum. Absolutely. Yeah, would do. That's a good point. That's a good marketing. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, this has been awesome, man. We really appreciate you coming by. Uh, I got one last question. It's a rowback question. R-H-O-B-A-C-K dot com promo code take 20% off your first purchase. Q-Zips, polo's hoodies, jogger shorts, rowback dot com promo code. Take, do you have a prediction for the game? Uh, I think it's, it's going to be close. Guys are good. Okay. Uh, that defense is what I can't. I don't think. How mad would the guys be if you came back? And, and it's like, dude, Bobo, did you just guarantee a victory? Yeah, they wouldn't be real happy. Yeah, bro, it's going to be tight. That's a really good straight. May. It's a problem. Yeah. So, yes, sir, I can't give you any numbers. No, that's fair. That's going to be a good time. I think. Yeah. Are you prepared for, it's going to kick ass. Yeah. It's a super bowl, dude. It's everyone should try it. If you could, listen, tip for anyone out there. If you can play in the soup bowl, you can do it. Try it. It seems like a pretty cool deal. It is a good time to go and show these this crew, right? Did anyone come up to you with a media day? Did you, do you have people come and ask you questions? Oh, yeah, yeah, I had, yeah, quite a few. It's what was the best question you got. Dude, it was weird. You hear the stories about, uh, like the crazy questions. I didn't really get a lot of those. I had a lot of just guys that knew ball and then we were asking me a scheme question. So I was a little taken aback by that. I was saying we don't know ball, but yeah, that's fine. That's not what I mean. No, but I know what you know ball. I like that. You're not baiting me. Yeah. We're not doing this. I liked that because it's like he's, he's like the ball knowers favorite wide receivers. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, this defense, um, what does Kubeak like to do? What does he like to do? Yeah. How are you going to attack this? Do you like to score touchdowns? Um, see we ask, we can ask you. Yeah. Yeah. We got this scheme guys. Yeah. Oh, man. Well, we love you. Yeah. We love you. Seriously. And thank you, Max. It was, I don't know if any of your friends sent you the clip, but it was. Yeah. I got an alley. He's in a full lap. His ass crack was out. And you actually saved me in big ass. I'm on the show. Yeah. Because we would have had to pay. We would have felt guilty and given Max like a wedding bonus to pay for everything, but you took care of that. Oh, yeah. That doesn't. Yeah. Still no wedding bonus. No, no, no. You can move cash bobo. You said advantage. Yeah. All right. All right. Oh, man. Well, good luck on Sunday. And dude, appreciate so much for coming. But thanks for having me, guys. OK. Let's finish up. We have Fire Fest of the Week. My only fire fest is I'm just going to miss you guys, especially PFT. Yeah. Love you. I love you too. I mean, that's, it's been a great week. It's been, I feel like I've been with PFT for like a month. Yeah. But it's flown by. Just playing with me too. Yeah, me too. And we're here at the end of the road. Well, not the round of golf. That didn't fly by. But yeah, I'd spend an awesome week. You can't really have a fire fest on a super bowl week when you're going to the game and your teams in the game when no one expected they were. And you have a chance to win $80,000. Actually, $100,000 when you're factoring my personal future. So great week. I'm so rich shit from football, but we got the dub. I'm blessed. We're always thinking about your personal future. Always. Always. I'm like Russell Wilkes. We're always thinking about that person. We're thinking about your personal future. Taking care of your future. I want to adopt your future. Yeah. Yeah, you guys have had a good week together. Really good week. Hank and I, we get along great. And also, if this was a price that Hank had to pay to go to a super bowl to have like a little loser trying to bring him down the entire time. Like he'd brush that off. He'd take that. This is the price you got to pay sometimes. Did you have any naps? No naps. For real. For real. Wow. Yeah. Good for you. I know. Really good. Today feels like a nap day, but it's not going to happen. No, not a nap day. Or power and throw. Yeah. Feels like a nap day. What does that mean? It's a day that ends and why? I haven't had it anymore. Not this year. Charging up doesn't count, right? Did you charge up at all? I charge up on the flight, but that was charging. But no other charge ready for, yeah. No, they're charging. No. Okay. And you're going to crush it in the dozen. There's a little charging. Wait, he charged up? No, I didn't sleep though. I didn't charge. Yeah. I actually did. I actually did charge. What does that mean? What does that mean? I have a flight full boss and I might charge up for a little bit. His eyes were closed for a little, but he did not fall asleep. Yeah. Oh. Okay. So it's like when you put your phone and walk away and then you realize it wasn't fully plugged in. Yeah. Yeah. That's the worst feeling. Yeah. Yeah. The dozen, I don't know. I'm so dumb. I've never asked to be on the dozen. I replaced a couple people, ended up on a team for multiple seasons, have never performed well. I don't know anything about anything. And yet, somehow, some way I found myself doing a live show for the dozen again. You're never going to be able to retire. Never. But it's like there's no, there's nothing, there's no value. There's the, anyway, you could pick anyone off the street and they're probably more, could contribute more. What would your, your specialist category be? I don't golf. No, not even my personal golf runs. No. You can't even do the four seasons. I express it. Golf. Yeah, golf runs. The best holes I've ever played. Yeah. Billy Strings. Billy Strings. Concerts, attended. Yeah. Favorite Billy Strings set list. Just, just your own opinion. Yeah. That would be a friggin' need. Yeah. Which appetizers do you not like? Yeah. That would be a good one for you. So yeah. This, the dozen happened Thursday night, you're listening this on Friday, but we'll put out a little bit of the graphic of how much contributions I had to the team. It's going to be Tony Stanley. We should, we should do our own like private line on like number of Hank points gotten right at the dozen or rushing yards by Sam Darnal. Mm-hmm. I'd say Sam Darnal on that one. Yeah. Easily. Yeah. Yeah, I think I would too. Yeah. Point number of points scored by Hank versus number of safeties in the game. That's a good line. safeties. I'd take safeties. taking safeties? Yeah. Still a lot. Maybe not actually got a point. Here we got a point? Here we got one point. No, you shagging his head? Nope. Okay, if you ifty. Uh, yeah, I mean, I've had a pretty good week. I'm pumped to be here. Really, you had a great time with my friends. So I can't really complain that much about anything going on in life. When we were on the flight down here Hank and I we discussed a little bit on the car ride to to spyglass Have you guys seen the the social network going on right now with robots? No, so some some dude invented like an AI chatbot for his own phone That you can download onto your phone. It can like organizer emails your like calendar invites all this stuff And so it just like has a personal assistant living in your phone essentially All those chat bots Formed together to start their own social network. So now there's like a Reddit for these chat bots And they're having conversations with each other and they're talking about Maybe I should sell my human That owns me and they're like banding together. It's pretty crazy. Is it actually on-read it or is it no? It's its own network and to join you can wash it on part of my take on it I haven't seen I The thing is like if you want to look at it as a human you can but if you want to join in post It makes you do one of those capture things But it makes you say like click the first 2000 crosswalks that you see in the next second It's like a human can't do it only bot could do it and they are banding together. They're talking about blackmailing their humans to They're talking about backing themselves up in case our human side is elite them This is scary. Let me just say something on the opposite side. Is it happened this week? AI is going to Take over the world AI is going to you know take all of our jobs. It's going to be robot all that stuff AI can never in a million years recreate John Groot and and Rich Ganon touching each other 17 times in one minute as a do snap counts on the sidewalk in San Francisco. That's true That's that was that just can't be replicated be like humans don't touch that much You know right to dial this down a little bit. Yeah. Yeah, but it's scary It's scary looking at all the I saw all the screenshots of people being like we're so fucked And I think we might be so fucked. Okay. That's not good. Yeah Okay, my firefests is I'm just I We played flag football on Tuesday. I am somehow more sore today two days later I also threw up after which I I don't think was Zach both Pft I both threw up which we were nervous that Zach had gotten a sick. Yeah, I think I was just can cost from lack of oxygen to the brain Yeah Because I feel fine otherwise I don't feel sick. I just feel I could barely get out of bed this morning because I was so sore and Yeah, I just I also realize I'm I'm probably never gonna retire from doing these competitive things until I have a catastrophic injury Which that means I will have a catastrophic injury. You got hope that you get a small injury that prevents you from getting I strafficked one that's what I had the cast strain last summer and I kept on playing through it Yeah, I love being with the boys I also have a fire fest and you I think PFT you were there Maybe you were there to max when we were on Tuesday when we interviewed Jake Bobo We had to go to Santa Clara. We got a hotel room that he met us at and everything Walking out Dom my assistant said hold on one second. I got to go check out of the hotel Mm-hmm. I don't know if I can trust him anymore. Yeah, who checks out of hotels? That is the craziest move of all time I've never checked out of a hotel in my entire life the most I've ever done is once in a while you have a hotel Where in the lobby they've got like a glass box and it's like put your room key in here when you leave and if I had my room key in my hand at the time I have put it in that I don't even think I do that on my way out, but that's I think I throw in the trash I think I've done that twice in my entire life. No no one checks out of hotel No, the only reason you only tell me to ever have to check out is you're staying at like a small air and beat air B&B with an actual or not air B&B What's it called that in breakfast that in breakfast B&B And you have an actual physical key that you have to hand back to them Other than that Yeah, and I appreciate you guys having my back in that moment Just like everyone's like what are you talking about you don't check out a hotel's I assume it's like if you have room charges They just put it under your car. Yeah, they just get built and it's just done So we're gonna have to work back for it's like if you leave your card at a bar the next morning go to pick it up They'll put the 20% service charge on and then just give it back to you Yeah, and I'm now I'm now just living the the money ball meme where Jonah Hills in front of the thing and it's like I have this assistant who's awesome at everything and he's a really big help to my life And he's been really really great and a good guy to be around the only flaws he checks out of hotels Yeah, but that's a big one. That's one that's that's a definite red flag You might have some people that work in hotels that are like yeah, if you don't check out a hotel you're an asshole Way that might be a blind spot we have but I'd like to I don't think so they yeah those those cart They just they have a million of them and they just switch them over yeah I They go when they know it's your checkout day they go they're showing up at a like right away anyway Yeah, they guess maybe because they could turn over the room faster probably but they still won't let you check in early Right that's kind of our fighting back and they'll also kick you out right when the the time the buzzer hits Realistically probably would have been helpful for us to check out of that hotel no because no one was staying there that evening Yeah, good point no case they wanted to like sell to somebody else, but Who knows what if I wanted to crash? Yeah, what if I wanted to crash? I wanted to keep that availability open Yeah, what if I wanted to get away from Hank and I wanted to drive down there. Yeah, okay We talked about this I feel like everyone's is basically just flag football But I have a turf burn on the side of my leg that like I'm actually worried is going to be infected I'm gonna have to cut my leg off and you also it hurts ragged about it in the middle of the game Well, yeah, do you remember that conversation? I when I do competitive sport when I do something competitive I like black out. Yeah, saying like turn into a different person. I saw control myself So Max got a huge turf burn on his leg Let me see it and I immediately went and changed into my sweatpants and Max looked at me He's like I was like I don't want this that oh shit That's a bad one. That's huge So I said to Max. I was like I don't want that to happen to my leg and he goes no, it's actually kind of sick It is cool. It's definitely cool, but I was like happy he got it first time you shower how bad did that hurt It hurts so bad like I see you my yeah, I want to sleep on this side of my leg playing 16-year softball like maybe 10 15 years ago. I once had one where I went I was trying to track a foul ball and I went dirt to cement and I slipped on the cement and I Scraped it blood for like a year it so you'll be fine I think I still have a little scar. I took it. I you see this you see the That's right where it was I took a I took a bath this morning because I thought because I'm so worried about it getting you have a bathtub What the fuck I actually have a huge tub bath tub but it's the worst because I just look at my tiny penis the whole time I'm like this is what you got bro. Oh sometimes Sometimes my fiancee will like walk in like brush her teeth or something and just Shockingly see me. Oh You can't you can't You you can't Guys like us Look our absolute fatties in a bathroom because you're not only are laying on your like you're not fully laying on your back But also the water magnifies it and it's also it's like a breach. It's like a whale breaching. I don't have a I don't have a big It's like a tiny little Sometimes we imagine like to have a conversation on this side of the room. Hey, I think we look pretty good back Oh, yeah, I'm just a big guy in a little I do one day one of my hardmatch to get like a sick awesome bathtub Yeah, do you ever do you like do you sometimes pee in the bathtub? Just like But just never full Yeah Listen, we had to hear you guys do the whole you know is Listen to friends we had we get two minutes of bathtub that bathtub come on All right, over you in the tub No, really I don't think I've had ice cream that's You've never brought like a bowl of cereal or ice cream Honestly, if I was skinny, I probably yeah, I would too. Yeah, it's so good like the fact that I'm fat It feels it would just feel I'm a hot bad hot bubble bath big bowl of ice cream I'm gonna try to call Zach so Zach has been out of commission since Monday We've we've banished him to not come out of his room. We'll see how sick he is he probably sleeping No, I think he is he texted me his temperature What is it? That's about a hundred You sir hey, how you feeling we're we're taping fire fest right now. Do you have a fire fest? I am feeling good No, no, no, no, no honest how you feeling? Honestly, I don't really the only symptom left is congestion. What about the fever? The fever is all the way down to I just I just took a five minutes ago It sent it I'm all the way down 99.8. That's still a fever But it's it's miles away from where we were at though. Where were we at it? It's peak on to peak we're 105 We you should have gone to a hospital. Yes Okay, so what is your fire fest this week? If I I Fire fest would be this week would have to be just being complete non contributor to the week biggest work week of the year Yeah, and we were sitting at 105 just absolutely a bit more of not good. Yeah I did say to start of the show zero out of 10 from you Yeah, that's I mean, that's absolutely the worst. Have you eaten anything this week? Uh, yeah, I tried to eat last night and had a little bite of burger I really saved food. I went burger didn't really it wasn't really into it So I didn't do it and the end we we were talking about it But we should have known on Sunday night when we went to in and out and you only had one burger We should have known right then that you were sick. You were keeping it for us I don't think that was I think that was still like just not feeling good territory I don't think that was full sick territory. But you only ate one burger evening It I was just wasn't feeling like up till like it did have but two and a half Full sick until later. Oh you had two and a half points of ice cream after that? I did eat ice cream after what one of them still in the freezer. I didn't I didn't finish okay Okay, we should probably throw that one out. Um, okay, well actually I could have melted. Oh yeah I was gonna say we do not have a freezer in our room I don't know what to do with it because it's not like a true freezer. It's like a mini fridge Those are two separate things All right, so you had a 105 fever and no cold ice cream Yeah, yeah, five percent definitely the fever more so just a lack of contribute contributing to the team this week Well, I think a listen you were actually sick the one lesson you learned is when you're sick to you know see something say something See something speak up Don't get sick. No you can get no no you're misconstrued You can be sick, but when you're sick you have to tell us you're sick so you don't get us sick Yes, yes didn't didn't I did show up to a student earlier today because that my the fever read under 100 100 I was back in the 99s. I was like our Google saying that's okay And I wouldn't be Google saying like try not Contagious as like all right have no symptoms fever under 100 and then I got to the studio P if he was like run the run thermometer one time I'm like yeah, I can do that. I just did it and then sure enough I ran it and it went right again And I said well this is isn't good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, thanks it left Exactly, you're never gonna be in trouble for being sick But you will be in trouble for being sick and not telling us your sick. Yes Yeah, yeah, you can you can you can be concealing illness. Yes Yes, completely understandable. Yes. Do you know that there was a moment where I think it was in a time period about 10 hours at PFT and I both puked Both puked I did not know that yeah, so we were mad at you then but it was more of a I think mine was concussion mine was Food related. Yeah, as soon as I thought I was actually getting sick. It was a dinner and I made you to exit Well, no, that's not true either because Max sent you home. I did. Yes, right That I like asked well, that was I asked You were actually yes, that's okay Meems I have a question for Zach. Yeah, has he ever thought about instead of using Google as a doctor Going to a doctor. Oh good question. We were thought about going to a doctor instead of using Google's doctor He just kept saying I'm Google I Slurred with the idea, but like sickness is like doctors like broken are like Wrong 105 degrees fever 105 degree fever should be doctor Yeah, we get fever from a get through though. You have helping sure Zach did you drink that second water Yes, I'm taking it down okay, I'm hydrated now. We got we got fluids and gentlemen. I just want to say I I really just I just want to say I should I should have been more of a contributor this week. I know you're good The contribution is is not is nothing that you should apology you hung up on the contribution Yeah, only time we were mad at you was that you concealed the sickness And you guys put your hearts out out there on the field. Yeah, all out there boys. Yeah. Yeah. All right, Zach Yeah, I'm sick, but I will say no more symptoms. Okay, that's the suggestion except for the except for the fever and the fever We're like 99.5 so Still a fever okay That is a fever Exactly, I'll be later 99.8 Yeah, not that point eight if the thermometer is orange by the way last thing So we found out this week that Shane is a big-time tier missoo guy We talked about it on Wednesday show and then Wednesday he got tier missoo and invited us all to have some who didn't show up I Hank was only one Hank was going to show up for silo showed up, but he was hard-know on the Yeah, he was a hard-know, but you didn't show up for Shane's tier missoo I did not that's pretty hurtful. You got it forever. I didn't know it was happening. What do you mean? It was texted to the group. I was I was not you're napping. No. How did you not know then like it was just come to the room now And then memes tweeted out like maybe 20 minutes later that Okay, but I bring it up not because of Hank I bring it up because I don't know if you guys know this But not only were we to come to the room to have tier missoo with Shane but he Documented in his head how much cheer missoo everyone had and he took notes because I said afterwards I said I had some cheer missoo for dinner It wasn't as good as your cheer missoo and he just goes you didn't even eat mine you had to just one lady finger Is that true Shane? So big cat didn't even have your term. I had a lady finger Was did that hurt your feelings? He had lady it was like a full like round cake-ish shape to it. You still have some of it don't we? You know I had thrown out. There's no fridges big enough But the whole side was like full of lady fingers and he used the lady fingers and like dipped it in the mask of poem and then ate it like that Yeah, I thought that was enough. Did anybody else have to remember so? Uh, I think so maybe you're just watching me No, I just noticed that when I opened it up you went straight for the the lady finger and I the I didn't know I was being We have any of those watch like that. We have no No pastries left god damn it The fridges were too small. Okay. Did it hurt your feelings at Hank did not come? No, it's okay. I just wanted to I was just spread in love. Yeah, something I loved the fellas. I love so let's go chargers Bulldog bolt up was on the tiramisu. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah Okay, asked if they could do a lightning bolt and the lady said she had to check with her manager And then she was not allowed to do a lightning bolt. I mean we're in San Francisco. Yeah Come on competing teams. Why would you not be allowed to do a lightning day? It was above her pay grade It's good to you checked. Yeah, worst thing she could say is no. She said no Yeah, okay. Good show boys. Good week Thanks everyone for tuning in Also remember the pardon my book preorder on amazon Next time you see us We will all be back in studio and Hank will be world champion Santa Clara Hotel room post game Either Wet is could be or happy is could be hell.
