•Mar 10, 2026about 1 month agoSummary
Deebo and Joe discuss major NFL free agency moves including Tua Tagovailoa's release from Miami with $99M dead money and signing with Atlanta, Mike Evans leaving Tampa Bay for San Francisco, Kenneth Walker III signing with Kansas City, and Kyle Lindenbaum's record-breaking contract with Las Vegas. The hosts debate contract valuations, organizational decision-making, and the financial implications of these moves.
Insights
- Teams are willing to absorb massive dead cap hits ($99M+ for Tua) when organizational changes require a clean break, signaling that coaching/culture fit outweighs short-term financial pain
- Star players at career's end prioritize competitive opportunity and change of scenery over financial maximization, as evidenced by Evans leaving Florida's tax advantages for San Francisco
- Championship-contending teams (Chiefs, Raiders) are aggressively investing in offensive line and running back depth to protect elite QB play and reduce dependency on improvisation
- Neck strength and injury prevention are underappreciated factors in QB durability and concussion risk, affecting long-term contract viability and team confidence
- Free agency spending in 2024 exceeded $1B in first 90 minutes, indicating teams have significant cap flexibility and are prioritizing immediate competitive windows
Trends
Organizational reset cycles accelerating: teams willing to take massive cap hits to move on from failed QB investmentsOffensive line investment becoming premium positioning strategy for contenders protecting elite QBsPlayer agency and autonomy increasing: veterans choosing competitive fit over maximum earnings in final career yearsInjury durability metrics (neck circumference, concussion history) influencing QB contract decisions and team confidenceBackup QB market compression: franchise QBs available at discount rates (Tua at $1.4M vs $160M guarantee) creating value opportunitiesFacility infrastructure and environmental factors (weather, EMF exposure) becoming recruitment and retention considerationsDead cap management becoming strategic tool for organizational rebuilding rather than pure financial burdenRunning back market stabilization: elite RBs commanding premium contracts ($45M+) as pass protection complementsMinority owner influence in franchise operations: Tom Brady's involvement in Raiders decision-making and strategyTax arbitrage declining as relocation factor: players prioritizing competitive windows over state tax advantages

Hey, I ain't gonna lie. He cooking. He's still cooking. He's definitely cooking. Hey, he's still cooking. They said they scheduled to release him to a Tonga by law post June 1st designation. so by them cutting him they are going to take a record dude 99 million dollars in dead money split over two years like dude he plans to sign with atlanta i guess once once he's uh once he was released like dude how bad do it gotta be for them to say you know man we're just gonna take this hit or this 99 and let you go over it. That's what I'm trying to figure out. Somebody give you $100 million to go home? That's crazy. Take your ball and your $100 million and go home, Roger. Like, how bad can it be? So that's why when we look at these contracts of like, oh, yeah, Tua, back in the day, like, oh, yeah, they signed up for $250. He's like, yeah, come on, give me the money. Now, two years later, they're letting him go and giving him $100 to go with his ball. Like, for me as an owner, I don't care. I can't bite $100 million for you to go take the ball. Like, I don't know. You got to be—it has to be something so bad. You kind of got to bite that because you just hired a new head coach. Okay, no, no, for sure. You got to bite that one. You got to bite that one because he's saying you ain't about to stick to me with this. Personal feelings. Then tell me you go fire me in two years when we don't do shit. I'm just looking at it as a owner-wise. So you would have just kept him and just made him just stay there and come to work. You asked me if I own the team. I can't give somebody $100 million down the street. That just doesn't make sense. That's a roster spot, though, that you need, Joe. He's still going to be on the team. I don't care. If he's getting $100, he's on my team. I don't care. He's going to do something. He's going to be doing something. because I'm not giving you 100 not to do nothing. I can't. Even if they don't have him on the team, he's on another team. Are you paying this? No, no. Just for my mental state. Joe, you can't take up the roster spot. Joe, you got to let it go. No. Joe. His ass backup quarterback for 100. You going to make him practice squad? Yes. And keep him there for the 99. Because we ain't good time. A year, I think. I didn't get nothing. He didn't do no practice squad. They could have did that. You get nothing for him. And you pay him. A hundred million out of two years. Joe, that's going to look so petty, though. I mean... Now we worried about being petty? I'm trying to put myself in the honesty without being petty. And I can't. I'm with you. It's not your hundred million dollars I'm paying. It's my hundred million dollars. You let me be as petty as I want. He going to have to do something. I don't care if you... His ass is cleaning the fucking the facility. Something. You doing something. You doing something. Hey, I don't... It's clearing. Every other Tuesday, that joint's on his seat for the bag. And then he went to the Falcons. What are they going to pay? Like, what, he's going to the Falcons? They going to pay him 1.4? I think they said like 1.3, 1.2, something like that. That's what I'm saying. That's your boy Stefanski over there pulling... I don't know what your boy over there thinking, man. What, what... I don't know. He thinking that's going to be the fill-in until Penix get back from that. The thing is, he realized at the end of the day, he was not knocking him, Tua. Love Tua. But the concussions, him being a little smaller, him not being able to be as, like, when I see Tua run now, I get a little spooked. Because I think, get down, or you're about to get your head, you're about to get your bell rung. Because he's a little loose-necked when he starts running out there. He's been put to sleep a lot. Loose neck? What's loose neck? He got to work on his man. Hey, listen. He has to work on his man. Now that you said that, this is something a lot of people don't understand. It's like neck circumference has a lot to do with concussions. The bigger and thicker your neck is, the least likely you are to get concussions. So y'all need to work on that neck strength, man. But you know when somebody falls deep, bro, and they just fall, boom, and you got a strong neck. You're not letting your head snap back. Right. If you go like this, bomb. You let your neck just go crazy, you're putting yourself to sleep. So my thing is I'm looking at Tua and I'm like, all right, they know he was a franchise quarterback. They wouldn't have gave him the $250 million if they didn't think he was being a franchise quarterback. So I'm looking at the Falcons. That was just the 24. They guaranteeing, what, $160? That's what I'm saying. When you get a man that's making that guarantee to $160 and you could get him on your team for $1.4, we're talking about deals and steals. I'm not mad at Kevin Stefanski for that at all because you got another team paying $45 million and you have him on your team for 1.4. So you have a franchise quarterback for the low, low, low that they were trying to get rid of. People have worse backup quarterbacks on the team. So if I'm Stefanski, I'm not mad. I'm not mad at it. I would do the same thing. But my thing is with Tua, how much longer? I just don't really. But two for the 1.4 is better than two at the 100 and take your ball and leave. So, like, if he's still in the league, he's still a professional. I'm taking him at Atlanta for 1.4. Okay. Okay. Hold up, Joe. I got a scenario for you. You know, I like to get scenarios. I'm a scenario type of guy. So, you are a journeyman type of player. You make good money, but you don't make great money. Okay. say you make about 50 over your career. You get you a couple, you get you full Super Bowls. Full Super Bowls in that process. Man. I'm just saying, this is you, I'm just saying, this is the process. I'm putting you in a, it's a scenario. Putting you in that place, okay? Or, it's end up like Tua, getting cut, not being, not having nothing, but you got $160 million. Which one are you taking? Honestly, I would take probably... I would do the 50... If I had four Super Bowls, Debo, I mean, I might take four. I'd take the four Super Bowls, for sure. What if it's one Super Bowl? One Super Bowl... So basically you asked me, is one Super Bowl with $90 million? That's what you're asking me. I'm telling you, one Super Bowl or extra 110 million. But you consider the bum now. Consider the bum? Yeah. You don't just let nobody go with $100 million if you ain't considering them a bum. You're correct with that. You're correct. And you'll probably take it, Joe. Tell me. No, I'm a... One ship, 50 million or no ships in 160. And they calling me a bum. Calling you a bum. I'm taking that bread. Calling you a bum and you a snitch and you telling on people. See, you always trying to add. Telling people ain't showing up at the meetings. I'm just adding. I'm just saying what it is. No, man. I'm going to go ahead and take that. I'm going to go ahead and take that 160. Joe. I ain't never been. Joe, money to rule the all evil, man. Ooh. for your luck. Ooh, man, that must... I don't know what that is, Joe. Hey, how about them dudes... Don't talk to me. How about them dudes that's selling their Super Bowl rings? How about that? Listen, they might be... That Super Bowl ain't keeping their lights on. So they get a little bit jacked up and they had to let that thing go. Listen, I would sell mine for the right price. And you talking about me? Joe, listen. I still won the Super Bowl. Listen, Joe, I won the Super Bowl just because I sell somebody the ring that want to overpay just to have the sentimental value of putting it on their finger. If they're willing to pay what it is, I'm willing to give it up for. Hell yeah. You can't take away my Super Bowl. You can't take away your Super Bowl. I understand that. You're correct. What are you talking about? Just like you can't get a Super Bowl or get no respect or you can't lose the tag of being a bum or a snitch or all the other stuff. It's not me. You talking about two. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I can get out. Listen, listen. I don't need to wear it on my finger to see. I don't got a shit. But niggas not walking around calling me a bum. That's for sure. That's what I'm saying, Joe. You going to take that? You going to take the 160 instead of the hardware, Joe? Why you had to call the man a snitch, though? You just threw it at everything. No, I was just saying. He said that people wouldn't come to meetings, and he was dropping names on it. But, you know, I'm just saying. Hey, Joe. Yo. You want one of these for the right price? I'll sell you one of them. See, no. I don't. I don't. Because I don't deserve it. It's not mine. Hey, hey. It's not mine. I'll send you this one. Uh-huh. Because it goes with the jersey that I got for you. Uh-huh. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Send it with the jersey. Uh-huh. Nothing funny. I can't stand you sometimes. You're so cool. You're so funny. Hold on. Let me make sure you can see it, Joe. There you go, Joe. There you go. It's a pinky ring. Oh. Oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Hey, Joe, here, let me show you this one. Listen, this one right here. Go, Bebo, go. Listen, Joe, this one right here. This one got six of them things in there, Joe. Six of them things in there. This one only got five. But anyway. I like that one more. You like that one more? Yeah. Listen, that one right there, to sell that one, boy, listen, you thought giraffe pussy was high. They ain't even got nothing higher to do. The charge I'm going to get for that. You going to need that. You're going to need some of that dead money. Hey, I'm going to need some of that dead money. Uh-huh. Okay. Listen, listen. My kids got one. One of my sons got one. One of my sons got the other one. And then one of them got a watch and some other stuff, whatever, you know, AFC Championship stuff, you know, you know how it goes. You know how it goes. Yeah, you know, when you're winning the playoffs, you get things. Oh, you don't? Oh, never mind. All I know is when I got a hat and T-shirt, though. Oh, you got a t-shirt. All right, that's good, Joe. And you got a hat, too, right? And a hat. That's good. Yep. That's good. You get some hardware? Nah, I got a hat. I told you what I got. A hat and a t-shirt. You got a national championship, don't you? Hey, would you sell your national championship? For sure. SEC championship? All that. I got, yeah. Would you sell your national championship ring for the right price? No. Okay, what if he was down bad? Yes. Okay, that's what I'm saying, Joe. What are you talking about? Sometimes, like, you can't knock somebody for selling the ring because sometimes, a lot of times, cats, you know, it's a situation that may have popped up where they need to, you know, know how to go. No, no, no, for sure, for sure. Does that really say, I'm not knocking, but I'm just saying, you talk, Super Bowl is so important. I'm like, it's not because it's the winning of the game. It's not the material of the ring. Okay. It's the winning of the game, right? It's not because the ring itself, it means, I ain't going to say it don't mean nothing to me, but it does mean something. But anything that is a item that is material. That's material. They can't take the championship. It's in books. It's in the history. Can't take that. It's all gone. Okay, you can't take that. Respect. And then, you know what they did? As soon as they did that, they said, hey, we're going to go and drop another $67.5 million, and we're going to get Malik Willis as our quarterback for the Dolphins. Yo. How much money is it? Well, they got that bag in Miami, don't they? That's what I try to tell people all the time. Everybody want to ask. And they got the best facilities, bro. And their facilities fire. And they got a club in their stadium. No taxes, bro. And they got the club. I forgot about the club. They got a pool, too. You walking to live. You in live. Watching the game is crazy. Miami got it popping. But this one I try to tell you, D-Bo, this one I try to tell you. Don't let these people fool you and say, oh, we don't have no money. Oh, we don't have no money. How the hell you don't have no money you can give away $100 million to a nigga not on your team and then bring in another quarterback and give him $67 million? That's $167 million, $100 for somebody not on your squad. Like, I don't want to hear that. manipulation roster things all of that stuff all of that making money guaranteed is possible So anybody talking that craziness oh no we don have no bread Look at Miami. Look what they just did. How did they go sign the quarterback and still have $100 million in debt? Oh, they also let Minka go. They didn't trade Minka away. They had to find some money. Dude, look, look. Trade Minka away. Where do you go with 50 a year, bruh? It's just dead gone. That's what I'm trying to tell you. and you like this. Yeah, you can't have him keep, you can't have him stay there. I'm like, no, no. I mean, they took it on the chin like some real ones. We picked the dude, gave him the bread that is not the guy and they just didn't stand in their own mess. Joe, I'm going to find, I'm going to find something for him to do. That's what, I already told you what I was doing. You were looking at me crazy. He's not leaving the facility. He's, you're going to work for the Dolphins for the next two years. You got to work off that hundred, man. You got to do something. I don't care if you just got to show up. Because you're not being there and me still having to write that check every week is crazy work. But they did it though. They took it on the chin. Like, look, we made the wrong decision. We're not just going to keep trying to make it better. Well, they only did that after they got rid of the coach that made the wrong decision. So they went on ahead and got rid of everything. Smart move, but I just, yo, 99. I'm cool with the mood to get, you know, malignant. Usually on this podcast, We'll Kill You, we talk about the diseases, infections, and biological threats that can make us really sick. But right now we're doing something a little different. We're stepping back and looking at what the human body needs to keep going. When you consider what we know about sleep in humans, there's one rule that comes out. We are predictably unpredictable sleepers. We're talking about why sleep works the way it does, why our bodies don't follow neat rules, and why modern life makes rest so hard to come by. The second half of our series takes us to the digestive system with a multi-part series on what happens after we eat. Okay, I just have to say that all of my favorite words apparently are digestive words. Sphincter, peristalsis, duodenum. It's fascinating, it's funny, and it matters so much more than you think. Episodes of our new series run from January 20th through February 17th with new episodes every Tuesday on the Exactly Right Network. This season on my podcast, here's the thing I'm speaking with more artists, policymakers, and performers, like composer Mark Shaman. Once you've established that you have the talent, it's about the hang. It's the pleasure of hanging out with the people that you're with. You know, Rob and I was always a great hang. We would sit in kibitz for hours and then eventually get around to the music. That's what I mostly think of when I think of him, the time together laughing. Lawyer Robbie Kaplan. The great gift of being a lawyer is the ability to actually change things in our society in a way that very few people can. I mean, you can really make a difference to causes in the United States if you bring the right case at the right time. Marriage equality. Yeah, Windsor's the perfect example. And journalist Chris Whipple. Every White House staffer, they work in a bubble called the West Wing. And it's exponentially more so in the Trump White House. Listen to the new season of Here's the Thing on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts. Segregation in the day, integration at night. When segregation was the law, one mysterious Black club owner had his own rules. We didn't worry about what went on outside. It was like stepping in another world. Inside Charlie's place, black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it. You saw the KKK? Yeah, they were dressed up in their uniform. The KKK set out to raid Charlie, take him away from here. Charlie was an example of power. They had to crush him. From Atlas Obscura, Rococo Punch, and Visit Myrtle Beach comes Charlie's Place, a story that was nearly lost to time. Until now. Welcome to Boys and Girls, the podcast where dating isn't dating. Arranged marriage is basically a reality show, except the contestants are strangers and your entire family is judging. You're sipping coffee with one maybe, grabbing dinner with another, and praying your karmic Ken or Barbie appears before your shelf life runs out. Trust me, I've been through this ancient and unshakable tradition. I jumped in, hoping to find love the right way, and instead I found chaos, cringe and comedy. And now I'm looking for healing. Boys and Girls dives into every twist and turn of the arranged marriage carousel. The meet awkward, the near misses, the heartbreak, and let's not forget all the jokes. Listen to Boys and Girls on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm good with that. Great with that. Especially at the price. That was way cheaper than what we were thinking. He might get 30 a year, you know what I'm saying? what is that 24 25 something like that 22 something 22 okay yeah so 23 all right 22 23 so yeah um i i like the fact that for the team for the dolphins yes this is a great great pickup 20 under the 30 million dollar mark and it was supposed to be between 20 and 30 you got them like 23 solid and everybody else like from what we were looking at i think malik is going to be a good quarterback. It's going to be a good chance what he did with Green Bay. I'm rocking with Miami because they're showing that they still after they gave out the 100, they still are ready to get in the mix. They still are like, quarterback is the most important position. If we don't have that, we don't have a chance. The new coaches like this, that was all y'all mistakes. I'll take him Malik. I like him. This is going to be my guy. I think that's good. Halfley and Jeff Halfley. and Sullivan, they were with him in Green Bay. So, you know, they actually worked with him. He did a lot of the scout stuff, I guess. So they were there. They seen it. They got comfortable with him. And like they said, he said they have good relationships. So, I mean, that was automatic. And they stayed low pro with it, though, too. They wasn't even up there loud with it. They didn't even say nothing about possibly just letting Tua just get out of there with a hundred. They know it's loud. It's loud. Everybody in the ride. Bro, remember, signing for 100 used to be the thing. Dang, that man hit him for 100. He hit him for 160. I'm just saying, back in the day. Back in the day, it just was... Bro, that's strong-arm robbery, bro. Bare face. No mask. No mask. No mask. Hello. Raw daylight. Give me that honey. I'll see y'all later. Then put his shit back on the left as he jumped in his Lambo. Give me my money and I need it now. Or his wraith and his ghost. That's two different colors. Ooh, see. At least you got it. At least you got it. That's two different roses. I can't tell the difference. It's hella money to me, Joe. one's a two door one's a four door oh you gotta have one that's two doors and one that's four what the hell is the difference Joe you know what I'm saying oh one's a wraith one's a ghost one's a one's a spirit one's a host oh there you see you know man and the big boy the cullinant you know you know you know all about it you act like you don't know but you know bro I don't know nothing about it I'm listening to the chat The chat telling me everything I need to know. That's all. I look at the chat. The chat go tell me what's going on. The chat know what the coloring in, rose. Oh, my goodness, yo. Yeah. Look here, man. Who else we got? Mike Evans is leaving Tampa Bay, bruh. He signed a three-year deal with San Francisco that could be worth up to $64 million. His agent, though, said this was not about money. He said the Buccaneers were extremely aggressive in their pursuit and presented a very strong offer. In the end, the decision came down to Mike wanting a new challenge and a fresh opportunity while he still feels like he has a great deal left to give the game. Joe, yes. What do you think? Do you think it was the money or do you do you think he just was like, yo, it ain't go it ain't gonna be it over here. You think he is? I mean, I think he's been there for a while. He's been there for a while and he got the right for change of scenery. When you become free, like if they didn't say they didn't sign them going into that last year. When you give a player the chance to become free and be able to see their options, be able to look and see what other teams that they can go to and just want to switch it up. Like there's not really too many chances where you can control your own destiny. And then Mike Evans in the end of his career, knowing that he probably get another three year deal. And you can get 20 million dollars a year playing receiver at 30 some years old and trying to go to a team where you feel like gives you the best chance to win. And maybe not that it's not probably a shot against Tampa, but being an NFL player, you having that right to be able to go wherever you want. It has to be a shot because you've been there your whole career. Like, and I think it's just a shot because he's at the point right now he's going into year, what, 13? Yeah. And I think, you know what, man? He sat back and he's like, man, I'm going to year 13, 32 years old, man. and I want to give me a Super Bowl maybe. I thought he already had one though. He didn't win a Super Bowl when Tom was there? Yeah, he did. So that's why right there, brother. I don't that's why I'm like, maybe he wants another one. I don't know, dude. I don't think it could be the money because he's saying they gave him a strong offer and you decided to go to san francisco california of all places the taxes and leave florida with no taxes bruh it it gotta be something way more than just a change of scenery bruh like you have just said i don't see it being able to be done here and I want to get back to Chip and I got to make this move because I'm not going from Florida, no tax to California. Dude, they taking if you get all 60.4 they taking 30.2 right now. And then they taking an extra 5 or 10. I hear you. I hear you. I hear you. I don't think that, man, I don't think he was worried about the taxes. I think he was worried about trying to get, I think he thinks that they, like, he already won the Super Bowl with Tampa. So, he don't owe them nothing. And just, like, I just think it's really just a change of scenery. And I think he thinks he can go get one out there. Exactly. So, that means where I'm at. So you're saying is that a shot at Baker Mayfield or is it a shot at the organization? I think it's a shot at the whole organization. I mean, when you look at it, I would take it as a whole shot at the whole organization as a whole because one person ain't going to win you a championship. Yes, that position is going to help you greatly as long as they're good at it. But you still need offense, defense, specialty. I think he was like, yo, he looked at the whole thing and was like, I don't, I'm not going to California, bro. I might have to just sit there and eat that. It depends how strong the art man I can't. See, you are thinking about the taxes. He is thinking about the weather and how there's no, it's not humid out there. He's going to be relaxing and chilling and you like this. They're taking your money. I know what you're saying. I'm just letting you know. For a lot of dudes I've been talking to, too, they're 49ers in San Fran, it's California. It's the weather. Hold up now. Listen, you over there in San Fran next to all that. Oh, Lord, next to the messed up facility that's messing up people's knees. Okay. Tearing up ligaments, tendons, all that. Weakening them. Stop, bro. Come on. And you older? Like that. I ain't making that move, bro. I'm going to stay right there in Florida with that hot-ass weather. Nah, I ain't going to lie. If it was you, I know where you're staying, Mike. I'm not mad at him, man. But look, that facility thing is crazy. Yes. ACL thing with all of that. It's a real thing, man. It's a real thing. MF signals, that's a real thing. I showed you my thing. I showed you my meter and all that. They need to get that. They got all that bread out there in Sennacom Valley. They got to move that facility away or something. That's crazy. No question, man. Get over here to your boy, Kenneth Walker III. Yep. Yep. signed over there with the Chiefs. MVP signing over there with the Chiefs. Yo, they spent some bread on him, man. They spent some bread on him, some bread that they ain't spent at that position in a while, man. Why do you think they did that, brother? Because that's what winning teams and championship teams go to do. They think they need a piece. The offense, too, the running game with Hunt and with Pacheco hasn't been as consistent as it's been in the last probably three, four years. So they need a legit running back. Somebody where Patrick Mahomes back there getting running around, trying to ad-lib all the time. If he could just hand the ball off a couple of times and know, boom, like we can steady the pace, we can steady the ship. I can actually do a play action because they're respecting that Kenneth Walker can actually take this joint up the field. So I think that the Chiefs are understanding they have, they ended up signing. Travis back you know what I saying for the 12 incentives up to 15 So got him back he solid Pat still there Then they got them a running back So I think with the Kansas City Chiefs they just always knowing like we got Pat okay Okay we still got Trav What we need to do is give him a running game. Don't make Pat be Superman every single time because he can do it, but then he start getting hurt, start looking crazy, start running around. Like, let's protect him. And when he got to do it, you know what I'm saying, he'll have to pull it out. But let's not make him do it all the time. So just being able to have that running game behind him where he's chilling. Sometimes he just handed it off and 20-yard game. Next thing you know, we're up the field. We're chilling. It's a pace that they can work with now to where he's not just always, man, it's second and third and 12, Pat. You better scramble, make something happen, have to avoid dudes and do all of that. So I think it's just good teams trying to help out their team. They know what they need. They know they were lacking in the run game. Pat needs help there. So just trying to help out their team and get them as good as they can. So with this pick, I like the way they did it because if you're a good team and you know you just need that, go pay them maybe a little bit more and get you what you need. So I think they went and got what they needed, and that's what good teams do. Yeah, I'm feeling that they just – what's your boy? I can't say his name right. The P. Pacheco. Pacheco. Pacheco is free, I believe, in 24. I think he missed all of – what, seven games in 24? Then he missed about three or four this year. And I think they was just like, you know what? We need to go with something else. We need to go ahead. And he's free on top of that. I said that before. And 25th ranked rushing game. It was like, yo, we just seen this dude like basically carry the whole team over here through these playoffs. He led the team in rushing a couple of times, bro. 25 and young. Young, moving. They said, you know what, let's go ahead and give him a three for up to 45, 15 a year when it come down to it. They had to make a move. He was doing good, too, because he was splitting time with Charbonnet. So, like that wearing tear is not as crazy. Yes, but now, see, he might get all these opportunities. Now he's not hitting the bell cow. Now it was going to look like it was during the playoffs when Charbonnet got hurt. He got all the totes, and you see he was a Super Bowl MVP. So he can handle it. Oh, yeah. No question. No question about it. Do a threat, too. He can catch the ball a little bit, too, though. Yes. Oh, he over there with Pat. That's going to be ugly. That's going to be ugly, and that's what's going to be. That's going to be pretty ugly. As long as he ain't playing against us, it's going to be pretty. Then it's going to be ugly if we got to chase this man around, though. Yes. That ain't going to be good. I'm so happy. I am so happy right now for the Raiders. No, I'm actually more happy. I'm happy for both of them. I'm happy for the Raiders and I'm happy for the Ravens. I'm happy for the Ravens because they lost somebody that they shouldn't have let go. Okay? Kyle Lindenbaum, he is going to the Raiders for a historical. contract over there. He agreed to a three-year $81 million, brother. Includes $60 million in guarantees. And the average value is the most ever for an interior lineman, bro. I'm so happy for you Ratbirds because y'all shouldn't have got Crosby. But I feel good that you're losing something. Because when you go and you take something that shouldn't have been yours, you need to lose something. I'm also happy for the Raiders because now they possibly won't be getting their ass. Well, Geno possibly won't be getting his ass to out the frame. 64 sack high last year, the highest of all. The man was running for his life. And then when he couldn't run for his life, they was just cutting it short right there. I think the Raiders at that point they had what was it almost 110 million in cap space number one so they got the bread I think this might have Tom's hand on it he's like yeah we gotta go out here we gotta get something to protect these boys they're going to get a quarterback too I think they're going to get a quarterback I don't know who it is man I think they get the number one pick in the draft they probably gonna they gonna get my man from Indiana if they get him they got I think it's gonna have to be Tom's approved man I think Tom might go get him. I don't know. They got the number one pick. They got a center. They would have somebody to protect them. They got Gentry. They got a nice tight end. They got some picks. They got some bread. I mean, if he likes Geno Smith and he thinks that could be the guy, for sure. But if they had the number one pick and he thinks Mendoza could be the quarterback, then, I mean, we definitely have to have Tom's hand on it. You think Mendoza can come in there and do better than Geno right now? I don't know. I don't know. I'm not. That's yes? You say yes? Maybe. Why not? Dude, what's wrong? We got a bad connection or something because you just doing the stutter shit again. No. So you're telling me this dude will come in here and be better than Gino right now. That's crazy, Joe. No, he's not. He's not. He's not. But look, you know what you're going to get from Gino. So what you're going to do, you're just going to be. I'm going to get him a couple more offensive linemen and then worry about the quarterback position a year later down the road or something. just, I mean, you might have to get smacked a couple more, you know, a year or more just so you can make sure you get that number one pick. See, that's what I'm saying. You just putting Gino in there to fail. Hey, man, I ain't putting him in there to fail. Hey, listen, we just gave away $99 million to one person, man. Somebody got to pay for that. Across the league. At that position. That 99. It might have to be Gino. no no no how much what's Gino's deal how much longer Gino with I don't know man he better he better get out of there before it be short you supposed to be the contract man Joe tell me hell hold up I want to see I want to see man does I want to see what he do for real man because me too especially like with like if he he going 1-1, 1-1? The Raiders got picks, too. They got two firsts for Crosby. That's one this year and one next year. Mm-hmm. They're going to be all right. I think Tom Brady might got a long-term plan with this because you don't go get you a highest-paid center. I don't have a long-term plan, man. Two for $75 million April 2025. I'm telling you right now, man, you don't make Tom Brady a minority owner if you ain't using every bit of his intelligence and intel that you can. His hand is in everything. For sure it is. So all you people that want to say, hey, Tom is just a... Nah, man. His hand's in all of that. Definitely he's in all of that. and he might be fighting Logan Paul because he's scared of Le'Veon Paul is he's scared of Le'Veon he definitely Le'Veon not playing Le'Veon got information he has all the receipts you know what I'm saying he's ready for war he ducking duck duck goose that boy over there playing duck duck goose with no goose just duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck duck lady on ain't the goose now hi it's alec baldwin this season on my podcast here's the thing i'm speaking with more artists policymakers and performers like composer mark shaman once you've established that you have the talent. It's about the hang. Every White House staffer, they work in a bubble called the West Wing, and it's exponentially more so in the Trump White House. Usually on This Podcast Will Kill You, we talk about the diseases, infections, and biological threats that can make us really sick. But right now, we're doing something a little different. Joe man them boys they say they spent over a billion dollars in 90 minutes as soon as free agency started this year they spent over a billion dollars in the first 90 minutes blam yep that's what happens though D-Bo they got money teams got money to spend hey do that 99 count against that billion no I don't think so. No, because that contract was already what it was. That's just dead. I'm just checking, man. That's just dead. That don't even count. That's just dead. Dead. So I ain't going to lie to you, man. If it wasn't for my love of the game, I could probably take the 160 and be considered trash. Trash. Trash. I just... Listen, man. I got my daddy name on my back, man. That's so good on that, man. Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. I can't lie to that, Joe. Let me tell you this. After that 160 and everybody was trash, all that, I don't have to be on the internet. I don't have to be... You're going dark. I'm going dark. I'm just cool with me and my people. Like, whoever's my homies that got my direct information, we're kicking it. And guess what? We're having a ball doing it. Muff all the other people tell me I'm sorry. Get out of here. I'll buy you a drink. Get out of here, kid. You got me messed up. If I'm two of you, I don't care what these people think. Who are you? Are you going to keep my lights on? Are you going to pay Debo's Wi-Fi? No, you're not. So go home, Roger. That's what I tell all of them bums. Straight up. Go home, Roger. Oh, man, man. Straight up, Deebo. Don't let all them people, man, listen. Y'all is not my head. Listen, I don't know what it is. Y'all is not my Lord. I don't know what it is, Joe. I want to say it's pride, but it's not pride. I think it's responsibility. I mean, man, you know, you get paid to do something. You should do what it is that you get paid to do. Yes. like you know and give them the service that you were supposed to be provided but I mean what if they take your ball and tell you to go home for a hundred then what do you do I can't let you take my ball I shouldn have been in that position to get my ball took Joe how the hell I get in that position it not your choice it not your choice It their ball It their ball They taking your ball and sending you off Joe, I did that, though. You can... I can't live with that, Joe. I can't live with that, Joe. I don't know if I can live with that, Joe. See, that's why I'm like, look, I'm going to just do it. Do it. Well, if they did that to Tua, he's doing exactly what he has. He's going to go to the team that he... But he ain't ducking off in the cut and hiding. He ain't ashamed of this. He going to sign with Atlanta. Bro, okay. Hey, man, Joe, you know what time, man, it's almost 1230-something, man. You know what time it is, Joe. Time for Play of Fame presented by Prosper. Go. All right, Joe, man, look here, man. You done cooked up a lineup for us again right here, man. I'm going to go ahead and I'm either go play with you out there or I'm going to fade it. What you got here, Joey? Tell me why you got it and I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do with it. Okay. Houston versus Toronto. I'm going with, this is just Eamon Thompson, bowler, over 19 and a half, along with Kevin Durant, over 19 and a half. These two right here are just easy money. Okay? Easy money. You know what that Red Devil mean? Huh? You know what that Red Devil mean? That means it's not supposed to be easy money. That means it's supposed to be a little bit harder, but I'm expecting him to get a bucket. I'm not putting it there for no reason. Okay. This is all research. Okay. Let's go. Victor and Mayanna. With Mayanna. Two assists. Because they beat... Every time I... There's too much traffic. He's 7'6 with good vision. He's going to dime off at least two tray ball kickoffs. Okay. Points, obviously, 23.5. He's standing next to the rim. Balls standing too little. For sure. Bron James. They're playing against the Temple Wolves. I hope they win, but Bron over four and a half assists, obvious. Bron's a passer. He's a slasher. He's a dimer. Luka scored 40-something the other day, And now he's going to have Anthony Edwards in there that he's going against. And Anthony Edwards is going to go try to drop 30-some. So Luka's not going to let him out-duel him. Luka's going to at least drop a 30-ball. So I'm liking all of these to hit for the exact reasons I said. I ain't going to lie to you, Joe. The only one I'm tripping on, man. Who are you tripping? You tripping on the first one. You tripping on the A-man. I'm tripping on the A-man. You tripping on the A-man. You know what, Joe, man? You got me right to trip a little bit on that one. That was the most gangster one I pulled off. Joe, I'm going to go with you, Joe. I'm going to play. I'm going to play. I'm going to play with my homeboy because that's what I do. That's what I do. My guy says it's going to happen. I'm going to believe and trust in him that it's going to happen, okay? She said, Atlanta's pissed with Tua. I'm in GA and they're going to burn down the stadium. With Stefanski and Tua, they're pissed. The only thing they have going for them is that Julio signed for one day to retire. Okay. We are killing the rat birds. If Tua sneeze, he is in concussion. Yo, you so wrong. Covenant just be throwing out. Hey man, we need to get in butter. Yo man, I ain't seen butter in a minute, man. I really ain't want to go and look and be honest with you just to see because I know he was over there talking to Goofy when they went and got, you know, when they got Carlsby, you know. But as a matter of fact, I'm going to ask, I'm going to go ahead and get in this DM because they did lose the best offensive lineman. And now, what are you going to do? Hey, brother, what you going to do now? Y'all done lost y'all. Y'all done lost your best offensive lineman. They lost the center. They lost their likely. They lost the tight end. and they lost their punter. Yes, yes. Hey, look here. Look here. And y'all still ain't apologized, Ravens, old coordinator. You still haven't apologized to LeVar Jackson for you... You say he got... I apologize to that, man. ...saying something that was not at him, but it was certainly directed in his direction... you need to apologize. Seventy four million right now. If I'm him, I want a upfront apology. I want it in person. And I wrote on a letterhead, Lamar, don't let them treat you as if you're a second class citizen. You're Lamar Jackson MVP multiple times. Cut it life again, $2. Thank you. Ooh, weird. You see that Liam9087. Liam9087. What up, Debo and Joe? What are your thoughts on double mug formations? I think we should be more aggressive to keep offenses from double and triple teaming TJ in obvious passing situations. Wow. How in the hell do you think we're going to stop someone from doubling and triple-teaming someone, son? And I'm telling you this, darling. I hope they double and triple-teaming him because then that's one-on-ones or somebody's open. And if we getting three on TJ, then Highsmith has to. Hey, you said darling. Huh? That's Liam. Oh, that's Liam. Oh, my bad. Brother. that's why I said son how do you think we go stop them from doubling triple teaming somebody we can't what we do is make sure somebody else gets the job done because if we taking up two and three here that means another man got a whoop a man every man whoop a man and what what else Joe and every good man whoop two okay you can't stop nobody from doubling nobody talking about the double mug looks like when you put the linebackers up on the line I'm like but then it could make it look like zero you know what I'm saying Debo we're not we're not we're not built for double looks because what they done did with the inside linebackers and where they got to get in coverage we're not built for it we used to be able to do that not no more why Joe I don't know Debo why Yeah, exactly, man. What is that? Jonathan Holster 71015 Yo, Le'Veon is is Billy H-O-Tendurl. What the foe? You used to play Marvels with him. All right. We'll let him know. I don't know what that is. You played Marvels? You mean Marbles or Marvels? What is Marvels? Do you know what Marvels is? Are we talking about the action? Are we talking about Marvels like Iron Man? Bro, wasn't no Iron Man back then? I'm saying Marvels, though. That's a Marvels character. You sure it ain't Marbles? Marvels I don't know I don't even know how to play Marvels but I know it's a Marvels game I ain't know it was a play Marvels play with I hate when y'all do this to me in the chat man uh huh got your ass looking like you don't know what's going on company life had two dollars to thank you for our guest can we get Troy we could get Troy um but uh We'll let you know when that happens. Maybe if Logan Paul probably would call Troy out to fight him quick. I don't know. That's what I'm talking about. That's what I, that's what Troy be off the, off the map. Missing. Chilling. That's what I would do. then they give you that 160. Off the map, D-Bo. Hey. For me and my friends. I'm not... Joe, I can't... How can you live like that? No, I'm going to still be out.
