This does ASR for you and a durore family. ASR does it. So, we can now listen to your podcast. I started doing research pretty hardcore about two years ago. And I found a really nice location where I had seen signs of Sasquatch activity, structures, footprints, things of that nature. I actually found a whole area of Sasquatch prints. And there were four different sizes on an old asphalt logging road that had moss on it. So there were four different sizes, with the largest being 18 inches and the smallest being around 8 to 10 inches. So I found this area and immediately I started having sightings. my first sighting was when I was on a trail and I was it was an out and back trail and I had one of my research partners with me and we were driving in my car very slowly down this dirt trail and I saw what to me looked like the back of one with it was huge it was like four feet across and the color of it was like a reddish kind of brown color. It had no neck and it had that conical shaped head. So it was from the back. So I stopped my car immediately. And when I stopped, I had a tree next to me. So I had to put it in reverse to back up and, you know, see what I saw again. and it was probably about 10 feet away from the car so when I put it in reverse and backed up to get out of the view of this tree it had moved about 30 to 40 feet inward in this area and the area is incredibly bushy it's just tall berry bushes and fallen trees stumps like all these obstacles were in the way. And it was incredible to me how it had moved from 10 feet away from me to 40 feet away from me within just a couple of seconds, enough time for me to put my car in reverse and back it up about a foot or so, you know. So, I looked over at my partner and I told her, I was like, do you see this? Look, you know, and she's like, no, no, I don't see where. And so just in the time that I had reached down next to me to my right to grab my phone, to get my phone so I could take pictures of it, I had looked back up and it had moved another 40 feet behind me. So it not behind me, but back to the left. And it was kind of, I would explain it as like time lapse, because it was just so quickly that it happened. It was like, boom, boom, boom. And then it was gone. I lifted my phone and I started taking pictures and there was nothing there. Absolutely nothing. So we decided we'd drive down to the end of the trail, which wasn't very far at all, and turn around and come back. It literally took us maybe five minutes. And we turned around to come back. And as we were coming back off the trail, the bushes on the side of the car on her side were moving like something was walking through them. and she looked at me and she said hey are you seeing this look the bushes are moving and so I I would stop the car and when I stopped the car the bushes would stop moving and so I'd go again a little bit further and the bushes would start moving but it wasn't from like air from the car wind or anything because we were just creeping along this trail it wasn't windy you know the weather was fair, the sun was out. So, weather-wise or environment-wise, there wasn't anything to explain why these bushes were moving. And that happened, the bushes kept moving all the way off the trail. So, I went home and I thought about it and I thought, oh my gosh, you know, like, what did I just see? Am I making this up in my head? Am I manifesting this? Like, you know, am I crazy? What's going to happen to me? You know? So I just kind of kept it to myself. So a little while later, maybe, maybe about a month later, I was up at the mountain again. And, you know, we're always finding these really beautiful structures and these prints that just can't be casted for some reason or another, because on, you know, the asphalt, the casting material is going to stick. It's not going to come off. You know, just we'd find prints in gravel and you could clearly see them, but you know, they're not deep enough that it's just not castable prints. So anyways, we're up at the mountain and we're coming down the mountain. We've had a day up there and it was just, you know, it was a really beautiful day. And I have two of my research partners with me and they're both females and we're just laughing and having a good time and as I come around a curve on the ridge to the left of me just to the left off the trail but yet still in front of me I see just this flash of a sasquatch it manifested from the feet up so it started with the feet and it just went whoop all the way up it just appeared and I stopped my car and I was like oh my god and just as quickly as I could see like the fingers on its hands the outline the shape of it it had an arm resting on the tree just as quickly as I realized what was in front of me it disappeared and as it disappeared it kind of went all of it all at once just kind of went into a an orb shape like a ball shape and then it the ball shape disappeared and just sparkles flew everywhere and it blew my mind because it was so beautiful you know and I I told the girls I was like, did you see that? And they're like, nope, we didn't see anything. So again, I was just like, oh my God, you know, what am I doing? Is my mind making this stuff up? You know, like, what is, am I becoming obsessed? Am I thinking too hard? You know, all these different things are just, you know, in my brain. But they could tell by my reaction that something really affected me because I was breathing heavy, my heart was racing, I was almost hyperventilating. And so we had to drive down 3,500 feet to the main road. And during that entire time, I was trying to catch my breath. you know so fast forward to I you know I went home and I thought about it again I was like okay am I going crazy what's going on really but at the same time I felt compelled to reach out to it so I remember on my way home I was thinking about I was talking in my head I'm like thinking you know what is this who are you what's going on you know and I dropped the girls off and on my way home I said out loud who are you and instantly this thought or this this this kind of like vision came into my head it's like I'm the one who's been protecting you I've known you your whole life. And so I thought about it and I used to have dreams when I was a child about Sasquatch and they were reoccurring dreams. And instantly I made the connection. This is the one that I had dreamt about. This is the one who's been with me my whole life and it became something spiritual to me. So, and I know a lot of people don't understand that or they don't want to, you know kind of believe that but it meant something to me starting a business can be overwhelming you're juggling multiple roles designer marketer logistics manager all while bringing your vision to life shopify helps millions of business sell online build fast with templates and ai descriptions and photos inventory and shipping sign up for your one euro per month trial and start selling today at Shopify.nl. So, now you can listen to your podcast. and start selling today at Shopify dot NL that's Shopify dot NL it's time to see what you can accomplish with Shopify by your side so fast forward to it was July 26th and I so I have these town hall meetings in sweet home at the damn bar in foster and I have them at the last Saturday of every month usually during the summer months and you know when it's warm so I just had a meeting and it was July 26th and one of my research partners had came over from Bend and he only comes over once a month during the meetings and we usually camp out and so he had brought his fiance with him and we had went up the mountain and I think we put a camera out that day or something and we drove around the trails and stuff and we had gotten back to camp and I decided because I live so close to my research area that I was just going to go home and I was going to sleep in my own bed that night. I didn't, if I had the choice to sleep in my own bed or camp in my car, I'm probably going to go home and sleep in my own bed. So I told him, I was like, hey, I'm going home. It's really quiet. Nothing's going on. I'm not feeling anything up here at all tonight. I'll be back at six o'clock in the morning. So I drove down the mountain. And I remember it's really kind of weird because I drove down the mountain. And for some reason that night, I wanted to see how quickly I could get down the mountain. And I don't usually do this because, first of all, it's dangerous driving those trails. But late at night on a Saturday night, I assumed I just figured, you know, it would be a fun time for me to try to see how quickly I could get down to the bottom of the hill. because there's absolutely no traffic. There's no ATVs or bikes or anything on these trails this late at night. So I did that and I made it like in record time. I think it was seven minutes. So anyways, I'm driving down the main road and just as I get to this really popular campsite, there's a big curve in the road and I come around this curve and I'm kind of lined up with this campsite's driveway and I see in front of me about 50 feet in front of me on each side of the road are these big red round hairs of eyes but at first I didn't think that they were eyes I thought they were reflectors like they looked like bicycle reflectors to me. They were big and they were round and they were red. And it wasn't eye shine. They were big around like a bicycle reflector. That's how big around they were. So I had stopped because I realized there was two on the right hand side of the road behind a tree. It was kind of looking out from behind a tree, maybe about five feet up, six feet up. And then the other two, there was two more, the other set was really close to the ground, almost on the, just almost on the ground, on the driver's side, on the left side. And they were right across from each other. And I knew because I'd driven this road hundreds, if not a thousand times, I knew that they did not belong there. There's no way. This was not natural. And so I stopped my car and there's no traffic on the main road. So I know nobody's behind me. I'm going to stop and I'm going to look at these and I'm going to try and figure out what they are. But I kept my distance. There was something about it that made me feel like I needed to keep my distance and approach slowly. So, instantly, I turned off my lights, except for my fog lights. I left my fog lights on because whatever it was, instinctively, I didn want to blind it I had my bright lights on So I started creeping up just maybe two three miles an hour four or five I just barely creeping upon them And as I getting closer I trying to think of all these things that they could be could it like a turkey or an owl? And then I thought too, I was like, who in the world is in the woods in the middle of the night wearing steampunk goggles? Because the closer I got, the more they looked like steampunk goggles and that had a red glow, you know. And so I just, I continued to creep closer and closer. And the closer I got, the more I realized that these were eyes and they were so large. They were like the size of large eggs and they were shaped like eggs. They weren't perfectly round like how I had first saw them. The closer I got, the more I realized that they were more almond shaped. And but yet they were still emitting this red glow. But it wasn't like a laser or a flashlight. It was just like the glow was in the eye socket. So I got closer and closer. and the closer I got I could kind of I could see the body movement it was a silhouette it was a very dark like black silhouette but I could see that this the one on the right hand side of the road she would look at me and then she would look at the one across the road and then she would look behind her like she had somebody or something behind her that she was keeping an eye on and immediately I felt this instinct like she has a child like she's there's she has a child with her and she's trying to protect it and she's looking to him across the road for guidance or protection you know like like he was like he's the one he's the main one and she is he is her protector so I look over to the one on the left and instantly I see that you know those are eyes looking at me and he locked eyes with me and from that point on he did not take them off me but he wasn't looking at my car or you know the headlights or anything he was looking at me like he was looking at my face he was staring into my eyes and that's when I started thinking that these are you know these are Sasquatch they have to be they they must be even though I couldn't see their bodies there was a connection there so I kept moving you know very slowly up the road and again instinctively I'm thinking okay you know they're in the process of crossing the road I am just going to creep by and move out of the way so that they can continue doing whatever they're doing and as I'm doing that my headlights I get like right lined up with him on the left. And as my headlights kind of, my fog lights, I should say, kind of light up the way, I can see that I'm looking at his head on the side of the road and he's hunched over. And his back is huge. and I can see what looks like hair to me, but the way that it lit up, it kind of, it looked iridescent as my headlights moved over it. It kind of sparkled and it rippled. It did this really strange rippling effect. And to me, I felt like it was either cloaking or it was beginning to cloak or it had just, you know, uncloaked. It was like in a process. It was a process of something, but it was beautiful. Whatever it was doing, it was just, it was a beautiful sight to see. And it was something that I'd never seen before. A lot of people who I talked to about it, they always mentioned the movie Predator. And I've never seen that movie, but I would agree that that's probably, it could be compared to that. So I just continued to go by. And as I continued to go between them, my windows are down. My radio is off. Everything is silent. I didn't smell anything. I didn't hear anything. But he continued to watch me go by as I drove by. And I just kept my eyes on him. And in my head, I'm just thinking, I'm going to leave now. You know, I'm not, I just, I think you're beautiful. And I just want to get out of your way. And I drove past them. And when I got probably maybe about 20 feet, 10 or 20 feet past that area, I looked in my rear view, I slowed way down and almost stopped again. And I looked in my rear view mirror and I couldn't see a thing. Nothing. Starting a business can be overwhelming. You're juggling multiple roles. Designer, marketer, logistics manager. But I knew when I was in front of it that whatever they were, they were real. They were tangible. I could touch them if I wanted to. but I didn't feel any fear I wasn't nervous it didn't make me anxious had it I would have rolled up my windows never once did I think about rolling up my windows and also never once did I think about getting my phone and taking a picture it was just like I had both hands on the steering wheel and I was ready, you know, if something were to happen, I was ready to go. But just, you know, because I'm a mother, you know, so I'm always, I'm thinking of ways to protect myself. But yeah, I drove past them and they were gone. And so I went home and I thought about it for a while and I just still, it didn't register what it was Or maybe I couldn't process it because of the glowing eyes and the rippling effect on their fur or hair. It was something I'd never seen before. And I couldn't process it. I just didn't know how. And so I went to bed. And I woke up the next morning at pretty early, about 5 o'clock, and got my coffee and got ready to go back out to the site. I had to be back by six o'clock because I promised Eric. So I went back to the site. But when I went back, it was during the summer. So it was daylight already. And I stopped and I looked and I realized that where the one had been on the left, where his head was really close to the ground, it was like his chin was sitting on the side of the road and he was hunched over. there's a ditch there that's about four four and a half feet deep so he was what it I think is that he was crouching in that ditch and he was hunched over the side of the road and he was just so large that his chin was on the side of the road and I looked over to the other side where the other one had been behind the tree and there's also like a little culvert there which if she had been about five or six feet up the side of the tree with the cup two feet at least um in the culvert she actually would have been seven eight feet tall so and who knows she could have also been slouched a little bit. So, I was, then I was like, okay, yeah, I'm pretty sure what I saw. I'm pretty sure that that, you know, that was a Sasquatch, two Sasquatches. So, I drove up to the campsite and Eric was getting up and he was making coffee. And I remember I sat down and I said, I saw something weird last night. And he's like, oh, what was that? And I started to tell him the story but not as detailed you know just kind of like I'm still confused about it and he's like oh cool you know but it took me about um a couple of weeks after that to really understand it and it was amazing and when I think about it now I still I treasure that experience so much because it was what told me that, no, Michelle, you're not crazy. You're not seeing things. This is real. It really happened. And you had a connection with them. So those are my three sightings that I've had so far. Everything else has been kind of different. Like, I had an experience where I'd brought one of my friends up from Washington, and he's also a Sasquatch researcher, and he asked if he could come up. And so I brought him up to my spot, and we unloaded all of our camping stuff and whatnot. And, you know, we were tootling around camp and around the site. When I camp, I want to mention that I don't camp in their habitat area, what I believe is their habitat area. I always camp on the outskirts of it. I have a specific campsite that I stay at because I feel like they've kind of directed me that this is an okay place for you to camp. But don't camp in the habitat area. But this is a good spot. So I stay on the outskirts. And that night, as soon as it got dark, again, it was during the summer. So, you know, it got dark about, I don't know, 830, 9 o'clock at night. And as soon as it got dark, we started hearing something up on the hill in front of our campsite. And it sounded like something was pacing and it was grunting. and we thought for the longest time we're standing there for a long time like 30 minutes more than 30 minutes probably um an hour maybe and we're standing there listening to it grunt and pace you could hear it was close and it would and then it would be far away and you could hear it in the distance go, you know? So, we were listening to this and I had never been so terrified in my life. I've never experienced the feeling of your knees actually knocking together. And I know a lot of people talk about knocking knees. That night, I was so terrified that my knees were knocking. Literally, I was standing there and my knees were shaking so much that they were knocking together. and so I you know I took it as it was it was a sign of something so we're we're thinking okay is this a bear is this a wild boar well I'd done my research and I knew that wild boars are not in the Oregon Cascades at least they're not reported and I've never heard of any accounts of wild boar being in the Cascades. So bears, of course, yes, but bears also have a, they have habits. And one of their habits is, you know, if they know that there are people in the vicinity, typically they'll run away or they'll, you know, go the opposite way. If they smell gasoline or oil from a car, You know, bears don't want to be around people. And also, if they were to stalk people like that, then they would charge eventually. But this never happened. So we went to bed. I was like, you know what, I just want to be in my car with the doors locked because this is really unsettling. Had there been more people up there, I probably would have went home. But it was just him. And I certainly didn't want to leave him there alone because I was hosting him. So I got in my car and I locked the doors. And he got in his car and he locked the doors or whatever. No, he didn't lock the doors because he has a tent on top of his car. So he was up there and we went to bed. And I woke up about 4 o'clock in the morning and it was still dark out. So I kind of waited. I wanted to wait until the sun started to come up. And about five o'clock, I could see the sun was coming up. You know, it's starting to get a little bit light out. So I was like, okay, I'm ready to get out of my car. And I opened up the hatch and I came out of the back and I shut the hatch and I cleared my throat. And clear as day, right after I cleared my throat, I could hear up on the hill right above us. It went, and I was like, no. So, I jumped in the front seat of my car and slammed the door and I locked it and I stayed in there until my friend woke up that morning. And then we never heard it again. But the cool thing about this whole experience is that we did get it on audio. And he sent me the files and I posted it into my Facebook Sasquatch group. So it's there. It's available to listen to. So I started thinking about it and I let all my professional friends, you know, my wildlife friends, my animal expert friends, my Sasquatch friends all listened to it and I got so many different opinions and I got some people say, well, it sounds like a bear and some people are like, oh, it sounds like a wild boar. One person said it sounded like a bird But the more I got to think about it and with the experiences that I had had previously I thought well maybe it was a Sasquatch and maybe he was just irritated because we don't know what they sound like. We don't know what Sasquatches sound like when they're angry or when they're sad or when they're happy. Starting a business can be overwhelming. You're juggling multiple roles. So, we can now listen to your podcast. so who's to say he wasn't upset or irritated or even anxious that I was there with somebody he wasn't familiar with because he knows the people in my research group they they know me well enough now like maybe they felt like I wasn't safe or maybe they were just angry because I brought up a stranger. I don't know. But that's what I feel like it could have been. So that happened. And then shortly after that, I had had Eric back. We had had a meeting and we have another fella, new guy in the research group who's really great. We took him out there and we were, it was at night and it was on a ridge that we investigate a lot because we see a lot of eye shine and orbs and whatnot. Sweet Home is infamous for orbs and UFO stuff. So we're at this ridge and we're shining our flashlights up there and we're seeing some stuff, you know, some little whatever orbs and eye shine and stuff. And Eric sees a Sasquatch and he says, Michelle, look at that. And I look over and I see something, but I couldn't tell what it was. I couldn't even, it was something. It was just something that I saw and I couldn't explain it. But Eric is like, no, it was, I saw it. It was sitting on the ledge and it, I shined my flashlight up there and I could see I shine or something. And he said, it stood up. And when it stood up, he realized what it was. And it looked at us for a second and it turned around and walked away. And I was like, oh, wow, that's awesome. You know, because this was the first time that Eric had seen something out there. And here I've spent all summer having all these experiences. And, you know, this is Eric's first sighting. So we were really excited about it. So him and Tim start talking and they're talking about going down the road and going behind the ridge to see if there's a path or something. that goes up there. So they start walking away from the car and it's pitch dark because I don't know if you've been in the Cascade Mountains at night, there's absolutely no light pollution. Like you couldn't even put your hand in front of your face and see it. It's that dark. It's kind of like you have a blindfold on. So I, unfortunately, my flashlight batteries had ran out and Eric and Tim, I can't remember if they both had a flashlight or if they just had one, but they had their flashlights with them. And they start walking away from the car and down the road. And they're doing this. I said, where are you guys going? And they told me, and I said, don't leave me here by myself in the dark. But for some reason, I felt compelled to stay with the car. I didn't want to go with them. So, he's like, don't, no, we're just going down here, you know, to see if there's a path. And I was like, okay. So I'm watching them walk down the road and then they turn that curve and all of a sudden their flashlights disappear. And instantly I was like, oh my God, no. And right when that happened, I heard four big footsteps right behind me. Boom, boom, boom, boom. And I screamed. And I said, Eric, it's behind me. And I got right up and got in my car. And I was so flustered and intimidated and spooked, I guess, startled, that I couldn't figure out how to turn my car on. And my car is a push to start. The keys are sitting right in the little cubby where the drinks go. But I couldn't function. And so I yelled out the windows. my windows are down and I yelled out the window. I said, it's right behind the car. It's right behind me. And so here comes Eric and the other fellow down the road and they come down and they pass my car. I get out and I walk behind them and I said, it's about 20 feet behind my car. And we look and again, you can't see anything. Even with a flashlight, I guess Eric's flashlight is kind of dim. You can't really, you know, you can't make out anything. It's, there's just a cliff there. So we hung out there for a little while longer. And later on, we ended up going back to camp and camping for the night. And the next day, or I can't remember if it's the next day or the day after, I took one of my other research partners out there. He's a real athletic guy and he can climb up and down the hills fairly easily and stuff. So I took him out there and he was able to get down that little ledge there onto the next ledge and he realized there was footprints there but they were in like leaves and moss and all this other really soft mulchy kind of stuff so all you could see were like these big kind of sort of deep impressions you know and he gets down on the ledge and he notices that there's this rock that's about, I would say about five feet long and it's probably about three feet high and it's got moss all over it. And on top, there's a perfect impression of a very large bottom, like somebody was sitting on it and somebody very large. but so if you sat on it and you looked out you could be able to see if you were tall enough right over the road and you would have the perfect sight of where my car was parked you'd be able to see me and my car right there and so instantly I thought whatever was on this ridge was able to distract Eric and Tim and get their attention to move them away from me and away from my car while this other creature was sitting there watching me. And the minute it saw Eric's flashlight disappear around the curve, it started to walk up behind me. And it scared me, it terrified me. But then the more I thought about it, the more I thought, if they wanted to hurt us, then it would have happened already. There's been so many opportunities for us, one of us, to be injured or even killed or something. But this doesn't happen. It didn't happen. And it didn't happen that way. So I thought, I started thinking, well, maybe, you know, they want contact or maybe they're just juveniles messing around. So, you know, so many things that I think about when it comes to these interactions that I'm having. And it kind of, the last interaction that I had was in November in this research area because this research area is at a very high elevation and it gets a lot of snow during the winter. So I decided in November, this winter, I'd left Sweet Home and went down south for the winter where it was warm. I knew it would be nice. And before I left, I had taken one of my other research partners up there with me and I had decorated a tree to make it look like a Christmas tree. And I left two baskets. I left a basket of apples and pumpkins and then I left a basket that had little stuffed toys and balls in it for like kids you know so I left them up there and I drew a picture I drew a picture of me and then I drew a picture of a Sasquatch standing right next to me and I thought it was cute and it was wholesome and that when they saw it if they saw it that they would understand you know so I left that there in plastic so it wouldn't get damaged and I just left everything there and I told them goodbye I was like you know what I'm leaving for the winter I hope you have a wonderful winter and I'll be back in the spring so see you later and I went home and then the next day me and my research partner were going to go up another trail to check on some structures that we had found earlier that summer. We were going to check on those. And so I went and picked her up. But on the way out, I got this really intense kind of calling, like my soul was telling me I need to go back up to the mountain. So I told her and she was okay with that. So we decided we're going to go back up there and we drove up to the mountain we drove up to the spot where I'd left the the gifts and the Christmas tree and as soon as we got out of the car I was hearing things all over in the woods and what it sounded like to me was people moving. But I'm looking and I'm not seeing anything, but I'm hearing this. and it wasn't consistent like it would be a little bit here and a little bit there and a little bit here and a little bit there and so I just I started filming I'm filming all around and I realized that this intense calling that I had was for me to come back because they were they were there now they were gonna say goodbye you know so I kind of had I again you know it's metaphysical it's paranormal. It's spiritual. To me, it was just them calling me back up to, you know, okay, we'll see you later. You know, we appreciate the gifts and thank you, you know. And so, I left feeling really, really good. And it kind of put me in a different mindset now, like, I'm not as scared of them. I'm not as intimidated by them anymore. So that was it. That was the end of my summer. And I'm back. I just got back from my trip. I went down to Louisiana and I went over to Tennessee and I did some squatching over there and in Virginia. And I found some really beautiful, enormous structures that were just, you know, no human could move a tree this size. And they were amazing. And then after that, I went up to Michigan to visit some friends because I'm originally from Michigan. So I went up there to visit my longtime childhood friends. And then we drove home and I got home about two weeks ago. And that's it. Now I'm back. wow michelle you don't let any grass grow under your feet do you no not at all yeah yeah i'd say you don't with a lot of people with a lot of experiencers you wonder why the sasquatch that they interact with chose to interact with them but with your personality being so great such an amazing personality you have it's no wonder to me well thank you for that I often ask myself, why me? And I think it started with my dream when I was five. And looking back on it, I realized that whenever I needed protection or a friend or a father figure or something like that, the dreams would intensify in frequency. So, I really believe it's something that started before I could even understand the concept of Bigfoot. You know what I mean? It's a spiritual entity that's been with me since the very beginning, if not before, you know, in past lives. Who knows? I'm still exploring that. Well, there's so much to explore. I'm sure you are. And this is something you probably haven't thought about before. but do you see it as an advantage to have them in your corner the way they seem to be? I do. I do. You know, at first I was kind of unsure because I felt like, you know, the Sasquatch community is, as everybody knows, very controversial. And it was scary to me at first because I thought, okay, now, you know, a lot of people, you either get it and you're into it and you with it or you absolutely completely against it and you think everybody is crazy you know but then I kind of decided that it was my truth and I was going to go with the flow and just let whatever happened happen and not shy away from it or, you know, deflect it anymore because in a way I was for a long time, I was deflecting it like it didn't mean anything. It wasn't, you know, it was just something that happen. It was just a dream, you know, and now, especially, you know, with all the experiences and stuff, I do find it as, you know, it is a virtue because within the community, I would hope that there's other people who are also being called in their dreams. You know, I know, like Matt Knapp, he's had dreams of Sasquatch when he was a child. And that's one of the ways that we bonded, you know, and I hope so much that more people will, will hear my story, and they'll start talking about it. And they'll want to reach out to people in the community, especially people who have had those experiences, because really, you know, we're stronger as a group. Oh, definitely. It's just a shame we don't work together any more than what we do normally. And speaking of that, due to how acerbic so many people in the Bigfoot community are, how concerned are you about revealing info that might lead to one of the Sasquatch you interact with being hurt or bothered? Yeah, that's one of the things that I do really worry about a lot. And I, I try to make my boundaries very, very clear within the community and outside of the community. because I let them know that it's not a joke, it's not funny, and it's not something that you want to mess with, so to speak. I'm extremely protective over them and my research area, and I'm not afraid to let people know that. And I think I really do think that, especially within the community, that people respect that. And outside the community, I think that they just think I'm crazy and they try to stay away from me anyways. So, you know. Oh, come on now. Far from crazy. Far from it. Yeah. Because of all the success that you've had and continue to have interacting with Sasquatch and you've put it out there. Do you at least occasionally have people coming at you in a bitter way because they want you to take them out, but you won't, or they want you to reveal things that you won't about the Sasquatch that you interact with? Sometimes. I sometimes feel like, because I am very supportive with people in the community, I feel like maybe sometimes they're not as supportive with me. but I feel also like you know I I try not to set my expectations too high because when you do that you have a tendency to be let down a lot you know if you set your expectations too high and it doesn't happen the way that you want it to happen then it just makes you feel bad and so I try not to do that with people. I've never gotten any like downright aggression or anything from anybody. I sometimes feel like there's a little bit of competition, but also at the same time, I feel like I would hope that I inspire other people within the community to go out and to create their own groups and to, you know, write a book and to tell about their stories and stuff. So, I try to flip it and make it a positive thing, like maybe a little bit of jealousy or something, but no, I would hope that everybody is, you know, rooting for me because I'm rooting for them, you know? What a great person. I'm really impressed. I really am. Thank you. Oh, you're welcome. And just telling it like it is. From what I understand, Michelle, you're going to be publishing a book soon. Please plug it now as shamelessly as you can. Well, I have written the book and it's been published. And right now it is available on Amazon. And also, but I have to mention, I have copies. And so I'm trying to make the rounds with the festivals and the libraries and bookstores and stuff and do sell them and do signings and stuff because it's self-published. But it is called The Dream Guardian, Sasquatch and the Path to Awakening. and it's all about everything from the very beginning of my dream and all my experiences and my thoughts about Sasquatch and what it means and what it means to have these relationships with them and whatnot so and that is it's out and I'm I'm pushing it and I have copies and I will send them out in the mail so so that everyone listening knows I'm going to post a link to that book in the description for tonight's show. That'll make it really easy to find. ...you can accomplish with Shopify by your side. ASR doet het. So, we can nu lekker naar je podcast luisteren. Starting a business can be overwhelming. It's time to see what you can accomplish with Shopify by your side. You're also going to be a guest on another podcast soon. Please expand on that for us. Yeah, so actually I was a guest on Bigfoot Crossroads a while back, and that was when I first met Matt Knapp. And like I said, I mentioned him and I have similar experiences starting with the dream when we were kids. And we have a terrific banter. And so we are working on some things within the Bigfoot Crossroads realm that are going to be new and exciting. Yeah, so I'm really excited about that. And I'm excited to work with Matt in a professional way. He's a great friend, but I feel like the things that we're going to come up with are going to be really neat, you know, and special. Oh, I'm sure they will be special. And yeah, for anyone listening who doesn't know about Matt's podcast, again, it's called Bigfoot Crossroads Radio. That's basically my go-to. When I can't sleep, I like to put that on and just listen to it. It's just a really good podcast. If you haven't listened to it, I really hope you will. but having said that it's a lot of work to do what you do going out interacting with them doing the things where maybe you're not interacting with them directly but you're doing things like decorating that tree up at that observation spot to look like a christmas tree and to leave the things for them that you did doing all the things you do michelle that's a lot of work like i said what's the main reason behind why you do all the things you do that are Sasquatch related? I love them. I wholeheartedly, deeply love them. And I want them to know that. And everything that I do out there is done with love and appreciation because I'm trying not to cry. After realizing the importance that they played in my life when I was a child, I feel like I owe it to them to show my gratitude and to do everything I can to not just protect them and protect their locations and things like that, but really give them honor, you know, because they are real and we're spiritually connected. And they, I think their role in humanity is much larger than anybody could probably ever imagine. At least to me, they are, you know, and if something could affect somebody like that so deeply, it's not work to me. It's love. I'm just showing them love. Well, like I said, it's awfully impressive how you conduct yourself and all the things that you do. I'm really impressed. One more can you tell us about your Facebook group, Sweet Home Sasquatch? yeah so sweet home sasquatch is really fun the reason why i made the group in the beginning was because when i had first moved to sweet home about six years ago i had bigfoot stickers all over my car and i would literally go to the grocery store and i would come out of the grocery store and there would be somebody, a man usually, standing next to my car waiting for me to arrive so they could tell me their Bigfoot story. And most of these people are, you know, they're local hunters, fishers, sportsmen, loggers, wildland firefighters, police officers. They come out and they want to tell me their stories about these specific places and locations in the area. but they don't want to be known. They don't want anybody to know that they're involved. And so I started the group as kind of like in a place where they could anonymously talk to each other because it was really obvious to me that they needed to talk to somebody, but they didn't have that person, you know. And another thing too is so many people who are not enthusiasts will have interactions with them and they will suffer from it. They'll get depression, anxiety, some of them even get PTSD. So I created Sweet Home Sasquatch as like a place where we could talk about it, you know, and then I personally would follow up on these locations and these events that would happen. So it really, it benefits everybody. It benefited me, it benefits these, you know, people who have stories and these people who need to talk about it. So the group has grown, which is awesome. I vet every single person who comes into the group. So you can bet that if you request to be in the group, I'm going to find out who you are, why you want to be there. We do not allow trolling whatsoever. The first minute somebody starts, you know, giving that kind of vibe or even just arguing with people within the group, we don't need to argue our opinions. This is not debate. You know, this is conversation. So yeah, I'm really particular about the people who come into the group. I'm not looking for quantity. I'm looking for quality. I do want to mention the Sasquatch Highway. That is one of the groups. I'm the main admin for that group. And that is a fun group. So for people who just want to, you know, come in and watch the videos and see the memes and casually socialize with other enthusiasts, Sasquatch Highway is the place to go. They have like 100,000 members and it's just fun. It's really fun. But the Sweet Home Sasquatch group is really for a more, I don't know if you want, I don't want to say mature because I don't want to offend anybody, but it's a different kind of vibe. I'm already a member of the Sasquatch Highway, and yeah, that is my good-to Sasquatch group. It is a great place, but I'd already planned to post a link to that in the description for tonight's show, but would it be okay if I posted a link to your group as well? Absolutely. Anybody is welcome, more than welcome, to join the Sweet Home Sasquatch group. But as I said, you will be vetted, and if you're not there for the right reasons, He won't be allowed to come in. So, yeah. But if you love and respect Sasquatch as much as I do, then please, please join us. That sounds like a great group. I don't know why I never heard of it before, but rest assured, I'm going to definitely investigate it and I'll see if I can't join it then. Absolutely. You're more than welcome to it. I'd love to do that. I really would. But having said that, I can't thank you enough for coming on to share the details of those experiences with us. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much for having me. It's been a pleasure. Oh, it's been fun. It really has. And please remember, if I can ever help you out in the future, let me know and I'll be there for you. Absolutely. All right. Well, thanks again so much and have a great night. That's it for another episode of Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio with Vic Cundiff. If you've had a Sasquatch encounter and would like to be a guest on the show, please go to BigfootEyeWitness.com and submit a report. We'd love to hear from you. Thanks for listening. Have a great night. Thank you. with Shopify by your side.
