I feel like I'm excited for another chill weekend, which is, you know, I'm feeling that Friday energy getting to chill Friday energy brought to you by Planet Fitness. as always which I'm good I have I don't really have any solid plans which is nice because Joe is going to be away so it's just a little Fran and Olive weekend it'll be nice yeah that sounds lovely right now I am in deep with Noah's dog Murray's competition to win America's favorite pet I don't even know how I got in so deep but i am in deep so noah had been sending us this link to vote for murray and yeah like i think he's beat out hundreds of dogs oh yeah right this has started like maybe end of december early january i think yeah it's been going on for i've been voting for a while yeah he's been sending the link to vote yeah you get one free vote a day you get one free vote or you can donate and get multiple votes yeah so this past week noah sent the link and was like murray's in the quarterfinals and he's in third and he's been in for this is the first time he's ever not been in first right so he's been knocked down so i was like all right well we need to up our donations and up the voting and so we did and we've been keeping track of murray and he fell and he went to first but then he fell back down to third so then last night i'm writing in a group chat that noah and i have with other friends and I'm like guys we gotta push Murray back to the top like I'm sorry this is bullshit so then they jumped in and they started donating and getting votes Murray gets pushed up to the top again alright we're like oh he's back in first we love to see it donating to a good cause also getting Murray votes you know it's a win win for everybody yep woke up this morning Murray's back in third and I'm like what the hell is happening here we need our guy Murray to get to first. You don't know how many votes. They don't show you how many votes. They just show you the order, but it's like you don't know how far behind you are. Yeah, you don't know how far behind you are. Because here's the thing. It's a back and forth. There's still what? A lot of days left on this. For the quarterfinals, the quarterfinals ends in eight days. February 26th at 7pm. Pacific time. Yeah. There's a big grand prize. I'm so locked into this. And you get a magazine cover. Murray will be on the cover of modern dog. Yeah, and my mom is going to donate some of the money obviously to the new chance dog where she fosters. Exactly, so this is all going to a good cause. And Rhea's going to be the biggest donor. Today, limited time. You get two free votes today. Listen, I'm on it already. Oh my goodness. I am on it. And I'm just like, how does he keep getting knocked down to third? That's because you said like I'm going to turn notifications on. I didn't know what you were meaning. this is the first time I'm seeing that want to be notified if Murray drops in position receive text updates I literally was like I'm gonna get text updates on this get text updates as you should I'm so into the competition right now I even had my mom changing the picture that we're using for Murray well I was like I don't think the picture they were using for Murray was good enough showed him at his best you know because he has so much personality he's larger than life he's a big dog and I was like I feel like we need more personality from Murray here. And now I think the pictures. Both pictures have been great. My mom for hours last night was trying to find pictures sending me. Like losing her mind. As you should. I'm trying to find the homepage for it to check in. I could send it. Which is weird because. It's americasfavepet.com. I know it is. But when you click on the main site, there's no. It tells you the details of the competition, but there's no vote. It is hard to navigate. I've had to have Noah send me the link. Also, they do make it a little difficult. Well it's hard to vote which is what I'm saying if anybody's listening I wanted to say if you wanted to vote to help support Murray I like if you go to America's pet I don't even know where you go to vote I know I know we're gonna have to post the link on like chicks in the office story I don't even know there's a vote button because we need Murray to win this we need him to take this shit home Yeah they do make it hard to find Listen these other dogs they're cute Don't get me wrong they're cute I'm not even kidding no where is the vote button? Do you have to log in first to make an account and then vote? No, no. It's really just about having the link. I'll send it to you now. But that feels impossible. How could anybody else vote if they have to share the link? I know. We'll share the link and then everyone can click the link to vote. Yeah. So like, okay, if you want americasfaithpet.com slash 2026 slash Murray and maybe that just takes you there. Oh, let's check. Try that. AmericasFavePet.com. FavePet.com. No, no, you need to do the whole thing, which is... 2026. Oh, wait. It's coming up into my... It's coming in... It came up in my history anyway. Because you were voting. Because you were voting. Okay. AmericasFavePet.com. Slash 2026. Slash Murray. Dash 50. Dash 50 DD. That's what it is. Murray's got those double Ds. So AmericasFavePet.com. Slash 2026. Slash Murray. Slash. dash 50 dd yeah yeah lowercase i'll repeat americasfavepet.com slash 2026 yep slash murray dash 50 dd yes and that will take you to murray murray limited time you don't gotta even look at the other dogs to vote for that don't even this will take you right to murray and just get your free vote in get your free vote all you do is log into your facebook should be easy yep Facebook Who uses Facebook these days? This is the only time I've used my Facebook in the last 10 years Yeah same I'm like logging back into my Facebook to try and get these votes in Oh wow I didn't realize It's like today's actually Everything's off so if you spend 25 You get 50 Oh everything's double I see now I mean I'm going to have to put more in So you're also open to donating by the time everyone's listening to this the double will be over but for us and Murray is currently in second place as I'm looking right now I didn't even read all my mom's descriptions they have a Q&A I read every dog's description last night because your dog the picture I feel like has to match the description she's got some good pictures down at the bottom if your picture doesn't match the description, then I'm like, eh, well. I didn't even see all the other pictures. Not that I want to look at the other dogs, but I don't even know how I do that. Where it says currently second, if you hit in the quarterfinals. I see, I see, I see. Enzo. Enzo's in first. Oh, wow. Ford fell to fourth. Oh, Ford is a handsome dog. Although I do like Drac. I don't know if that's how you say it Wow There's some very cute dogs in here I am in deep with this This is reminding me of the people's short swords Where we're like please vote Please vote for Murray This dog's picture Is incredible And should make Mouse Nicole I know That's gotta be AI I sent Mouse Nicole I almost dog skateboarding with the backwards hat on. I voted for Mouse Nicole last night. I was like, how is this dog not in first? Whoa, whoa. I'm going to be bleeping this right now. Also, that picture of him, it looks like an ad. There's a treat bag in the corner. Yeah, it does. Mouse Nicole knows tricks. Honestly, I feel bad for Atlas last place. She's an amazing retriever, her parents said. Listen, everyone vote for Murray. and yeah vote for murray is a vote for the good guy yes exactly i can't believe this is only the quarterfinal by the way in my head i'm just like enzo is like this super villain dog going against murray that's how you have to look at it this is the yeah this is the top one percent well it's funny because enzo's like just because they're such different dogs that it's so fun like you picture Enzo being carried around like he's on a pillow and he's just looking down at everybody. Well, not to come for Enzo too hard, but in Enzo's description it said that Enzo always has a smile on his face, but in the picture he's not smiling. That's true. He actually looks pretty annoyed. Like, you know what I'm saying? So that's why I mean like there's some other pictures of him smiling down the bottom. Okay, I didn't see those. Show them. Oh. Oh. That is cute. don't look at the cute pictures I'm still still don't look at Enzo's photographs oh wow we're getting off track we're getting off track Murray's number one yep yep yep Enzo's cute though we love you know speaking of dog just dogs and dog you should have got Olive in there and then Olive and Murray compete against each other. Yeah, like they meet in the finals. And then we like have them meet up in real life for a showdown. They share the cover. Oh, that'd be so cute. Can you ask your mom to like invite me over? Maybe I can. We should go to Noah's house. Yeah, I don't think we need an invite. I don't think we need an invite. But I'm sure your mom would host us. Oh, yeah. For like a little afternoon lunch, I can bring Olive. We could go to a workout with her. She would love nothing more. Murray and Olive can run around in the backyard. My mom would bring Murray back in. Yeah. Olive just like, any chance I can get to get her out of the city with some dog friends. Murray likes little dogs. Murray doesn't, when it's a bigger dog than Murray, he kind of gets weird. Which is good because Olive likes big dogs. She doesn't like small dogs. We'll be in the Cape this summer. Oh, good point. We could do that. Yeah. That would be a good plan too. I invited myself to both of your houses. Yeah. we'd like to go to all thank you um all the squire yeah we could bring the dogs there dog friendly there's a dog bar outside the squire it says dog bar and it's just all water amazing it's all of his dreams and especially if Murray wins gotta take Murray out on the town honestly you guys should walk with Murray through Chatham in the town that we live in because he's like a celebrity he's a star Wait until he gets this cover of Modern Dog Seriously, shit Everyone's gonna put the cover in their store windows Oh my god I could see it already, I'm like chatting Home of Modern Dog cover store I'm becoming like Murray's manager Can Murray come back on the podcast, talk about it Only if he wins Only if he wins Which, you know, we'll be helping for sure We don't want him to have an Ilia type situation No, no, no, no Alright, no, no, we don't But I wanted to say that the New York streets have been covered in ice for months now. And it's starting to warm up a little bit and all the ice is melting. And I don't know what happened to the dog owners in this city. But the decorum is out the window. And I think it should be the opposite because in my mind it's like, okay, your dog, maybe your dog poops on some dirt. Kind of blends in. You know, it doesn't pop. you're not like oh this is so obvious dogs poop on the snow it's clear as day it's against snow and there's poop everywhere I have noticed that for some reason I don't know why dog owners in the city have decided that like if my dog poops on the snow I don't have to pick it up that's insane it's disgusting even if it is on the dirt you have to pick it up you have to pick it up regardless I'm just saying the fact that it's more in snow is crazy to me because it's like it's not hidden it's out there it's obvious I feel like you just think oh it's gonna melt so then it'll just disappear which is dumb ew which is really dumb because it actually does the opposite you're pooping in ice so the ice just freezes the poop and then ew ew ew and it's everywhere now all the ice is melting so all the ice is melting and there's just shit everywhere ew everywhere that's disgusting when I walk all of it's like you're just dodging it all dodging left and right oh god the amount it's just everywhere. It's crazy. That's really despicable. I've seen some Instagram posts about it. People are not picking it up. Why did dog owners just decide that they weren't going to pick up dog poop in the snow? Yeah, that is not acceptable. It is really not acceptable at all. I didn't like that one bit. Because now we heard there's no snow. Enzo's owner leaves the poop in the snow. Damn. Well, one thing we can certainly confirm one thing we can certainly confirm is that Enzo's poops are probably way smaller than Murray's you don't know that you don't know that no no no but um yeah I don't know why people are doing that it's so gross it's not ideal because that and then like the garbage that was frozen solid under all the snow is now just coming back up too so all this ice the sidewalks are not are not looking good these days right now around these parts just poop and garbage everywhere ew that's just New York City for you yeah welcome to New York it's the charm shit's been waiting for you it's just literally everywhere I don't know what it is don't you ever think how you're just used to when I walk into a subway and it just smells like reeks of piss and I'm like it doesn't even faze me I'm like that smells bad but it's like This is just the city. Yeah, I just feel like it's always been that. Yeah. I'm not like, whoa, I'm so taken up. The subway's never smelled good. Yeah, exactly. That's what he's saying. Yeah, you just get used to it. But then you go to another city and you're like, wait, not every city's like this. Yeah, but I wouldn't say I've ever gone to a city and taken their public transportation and been like, this smells amazing. Wait till you go to London. Wait, did you ever take the, you still haven't taken the tube? I've taken the tube. Okay. Because the tube is like spotless. No one talks. It's great. Yeah, well. not here not not here but dog poop dog poop everywhere quite literally everywhere moving on moving on from this gross conversation yeah yeah um we do have a great episode today yeah we got the tell me lies finale recap the show has come to an end we have jenna johnson on today's episode as well and we have a great game of trivia so yes let's get into it start off with the tell me lies recap heading into the weekend it's time to make sure you're having some fun get some good activities in but also it's important to stay strong and planet fitness has you covered so if you got a little free time you're looking to head to the gym get that workout in whatever you like to do planet fitness has everything you need to feel your strongest best self in a judgment-free environment. They announced that this would be the last season. Megan Oppenheimer said that this is the way she envisioned it ending, and that's how it's going to end. And we must discuss the ending of events of this season. yes I certainly was skeptical going in being like how are they going to wrap up this show in this one episode and I will say I'm I'm pretty satisfied with the way they did it and I've just had to accept that they did terrible things to other people as well and there's just not going to be justice for those people like they're just quite literally getting away with murder and there's just some things that you're just not gonna know which is okay I think it's not like every storyline wrapped up and then there was like one or two that didn't Megan I feel like with the core group wrapped it up pretty well where it's like all those side characters they're just gonna continue on and whatever shit they're doing because that this episode really had me on the edge of my seat when Oliver and Marianne called Brie into that office with with her mom I couldn't believe it I was shot I'm like Marianne's the worst team both of them they're terrible terrible terrible people absolutely terrible and it pains me that there there's no consequences to their heinous actions and they just continue to terrorize young female students no they're awful but it's like honestly it made sense to end it in a way where actually there's no there's no redemption they there there's no redemption there's no consequences they just continue to be evil and you're and you're like well they're evil yeah confirmed evil forever i saw megan talk about how this is a cautionary tale like the not every ending is supposed to be a happy ending because it's really showing sometimes how real life dynamics work right and how sometimes there is no resolution and someone is just straight up evil there's no happy ending there they just continue to be that and we see that with Marianne and Oliver we see that with Stephen you know most importantly and notably nothing ever happens to Stephen really I I mean, he gets the offer to Yale rescinded. Yeah. Thanks to Wrigley. Shout out Wrigley there. My king. But that's really like we don't see anything happen with the Macy stuff. No. We don't see anything happen with everything else he's ever done. No. And by the way, he ends up having his ending that he wants, which is to embarrass everybody at the wedding. Which, by the way, when I watched this, I was like cracking up. I was like, is this meant to be funny? Because I really liked the ending. like it was I was like this is hilarious what's happening right now and you know they were leaning into it sort of with the cake throwing and it was sort of cheesy it wasn't so serious um but I couldn't believe that I was like laughing and then Lucy ends up laughing in the end as a whole because it's just like this motherfucker yeah gets away with it all I think it was good too because it just um it was like now we really all don't have to be friends you know it's like They were still holding on to something all that time between. Like, I still couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that the way they were all talking to each other in their dorm room, the girls, that they somehow were still Bree's bridesmaids. I'm like, how are you all even still friends? And of course, there is like Lucy leaving school and all these things that we're just never going to know that in between time. but the jump to the wedding does like perfectly make sense because I think it's everybody's way of having this big meet up where they're all together but they all kind of wash their hands of each other where it's just like this is it I mean Pippa Pippa coming clean to Lucy and then Lucy being like I slept with Evan and Pippa being like oh my god I was like Pippa fucking relax Pippa is on her high horse a lot although I did understand what Pippa was saying and the fact that like it is a little different because it like is Lucy's best fucking friend and she's doing it to another girl so I understood her point. It's like Wrigley's supposed to be her best friend. Right but it's like girl you know don't do it to other girls so I understood what she was saying there but Pippa just getting on her high horse about everything ever when she has been doing you know Wrigley's so dirty. You can be mad but totally be mad. Like the whole like I don't think I can ever be a friend again. Yeah like I'm never gonna talk to you ever I'm never going to talk to you ever again. You all have done fucked up shit. So Pippa was just on her high horse. Yeah. And then for Pippa to not step in when Lucy was expelled at any point, you know, crazy. Right. It was insane. And I think honestly for the best that Lucy was expelled and just like take it away from that school and get her out of there. Also, how about Brie being like to Evan, you know, if you slept with Lucy, tell me right now and I can forgive you. but she wouldn't forgive Lucy and got her expelled from school. Like, Oh, I'm going to forgive this man, but I'm not going to forgive my best friend. Like just everyone picks and chooses who is right and who is wrong when they are all wrong, just on different levels of it all. Wrigley and Brie. I mean, what I'm going to take from this is that they end up together. And Megan said that. Yeah. Like she has been interviewed and kind of talked about where she sees all these characters after. this point and she was like look i think you know i had it written that they lock eyes across the room and they're kind of free of all these people and it's all over now and they can kind of start fresh and be together and she she was like i think they're soulmates that's beautiful that makes my heart happy i thought that brie and wrigley were so cute together and you know it's one of those shows that you're rooting for them to fucking yeah cheat on their significant others because the show's so insane you would never usually root for something like that obviously but with this show you're just like you know what these two might as well be together why were they about to why was she about to marry evan like i like why because evan's family so brie was saying this is her her shot at having like a normal life because evan's family comes from money and can like provide those things for her so i think that's where that comes from yeah and but they're not meant to be together clearly and they're getting divorced the next day at this point yeah there she was like i I could see them you know it's probably a quick annulment and it's like what it's like it never happened right and Wrigley and Brie can be together I don't really I don't know how I don't know how any of them sit with the things that they've done like Brie putting that tape out and then continuing to just like be friends for however long bridesmaids the whole thing and just be like i'll never tell her it was me is is so crazy i mean look in the long run probably for the best set that um lucy left that school but at the same time it's like clearly she never forgot about it and also steven made her think she fucking somehow did it herself like steven was like you sure you didn't do it and like lucy's like i don't know did i like he probably thought she did She was in such a state of hallucinations and delusion that she probably thought that she did. But Brie holding on to that for so long, years and years, making her bridesmaid. I don't know how you could possibly do that, which makes sense. Now that Brie was like, I'm the worst person you've ever met. And then on top of that, Stephen getting up there, making the speech. And then Lucy choosing to leave with Stephen once again. That wasn't some master plan by Lucy. Lucy really was getting in that car with Stephen again. It's not like she took her bag into the gas station. She got two coffees. I don't think that this was some master plan by Lucy to be like, now I'm going to get one over on Stephen. No, Lucy fell back into the trap of Stephen. And then she finally learned this motherfucker is always going to win. And I think that's what she took from this. And they can all just like fuck off and not even be near each other anymore. Yeah. What so crazy to me is I don know if I missing some parts from other seasons But it feels like Lucy and Steven hadn seen each other like at all at any point in between So it's like years and years, like a pretty good chunk of time later. And yes, also he is so destructive and chaotic that like even the way he broke up with what's-her-face. Lydia. was just like I forgot they were engaged first like when she threw the ring at him I was like oh my god I forgot they were engaged like it's just so crazy for just two seconds of like let's cut the crap like I you know I slept with Lucy this morning I it's over leave like whatever and it's just like okay well that ends that he's like we're just together to mess with Lucy like it's crazy i also something that was left out for me and i'm not sure i missed it was like how lucy and max end up back together yeah how do lucy and max end up back together and what happens with alex he's not at brie's wedding no those are the questions we'll just never know we'll just never know but i'm like i think lucy she went on to just become like a travel agent yeah and then ends up with max and then where's alex right i know you never really know what happens you never really know what happens there and yeah there's and even with like steven it's like oh he doesn't go to yale which the the cut to wrigley's face walking down the hallway after he was like his uh acceptance was rescinded just fantastic just really great tv but clearly him not going to Yale he's still fine you know it's like he's still living his life I mean he's driving a nice ass car so clearly that didn't hurt him that much I was happy that it seemed like Wrigley got sort of a happy ending here if he ends up with Brie because I saw Megan Oppenheimer talk about this where she said that she saw an interview that Spencer did Spencer did about Wrigley's character and how it was just like it's written in the stars for him basically to never succeed. And like everything's going to be bad. Right. It was like even he was like, I don't know how how we could even move on from this. Like, I don't know how he could redeem himself because we already know from the jumps that he's like still down bad. Right. And so she sort of flipped it around and wrote it in for Wrigley to have sort of a win here. Yeah. And quite the opposite for Lucy. She talked about how people had been calling for, you know, Lucy's punishment for three seasons. And so that's what she did is that she punished Lucy because the audience was like, we need to punish Lucy. And now when we see Lucy get punished, we're like, what the fuck? Yeah. So I and I think that it goes to show like like her saying it's a cautionary tale. Like people like Steven exist in the world. Yeah. And unfortunately, get away with it. And they continue to be these horrible people. And nothing ever comes from it. And that's sort of the ending of this show. It's like, yep, he's going to continue to do this. And there's no happy ending here for them. Yeah, definitely. And it felt like, I was trying to find the quote of her saying it too, where she was like, she has always felt like she's kept Lucy a fairly redeemable character. Like it's I felt like in her mind, Lucy is doing she's making the wrong choices, but it's not with ill intent, which is why it's like, OK, you just you just get her. You just get her out of there. Like most of the time, I like even though when Lucy makes these terrible decisions, I end up feeling bad for her. Yeah. I'm like her head. Her headspace is just all clouded by this horrible person that Steven is. Yeah. And so you end up feeling bad for her. But in the but I thought that the ending was kind of perfectly wrapped up. Yeah. And if they continued it, they would be opening up even more storylines and we'd have more unanswered questions where sometimes you just have to be OK with some of the questions not being answered and leave it at that. because that is life sometimes, huh? Yeah, exactly. She had said it felt like the perfect ending to me because it felt inevitable, like talking about Lucy and Steven. One of the themes of the season was inevitability and the consequences of these actions during this time of your life where you think nothing is that permanent and nothing is that serious and then actually finding out that it is. The consequences can really matter. I really wanted to show serious stakes of what happened for Lucy and making these decisions around Steven because I think it is a little bit of a cautionary tale like what you were saying. and um grace is also quoted in this too that she was like i really do hope it's her last wrong choice just saying like she she said i think she needed that final confirmation of who this guy is she was like how long had it been six years since they saw each other but it wasn't a real end of the cycle it wasn't her doing so she's clearly been thinking about him still consuming her mind um she's always subconsciously looking for a sliver of an opening to go back to him and she did and she got the confirmation that she needed that's why i love that she laughs at the end because you think she might cry and it's almost like oh my god i see it all perfectly now yeah i liked that a lot yeah yeah i thought i thought it was a great ending yeah i'm satisfied yeah i am too i definitely am too because you just it needed to blow up and i liked that i liked that evan got a swift kick in the dick like he deserved that and um i'm happy for pippa and diana too as much As much as, you know, Pippa was frustrating at times, clearly her and Diana have made it work all these years. I liked kind of the little hint that Diana did go to Yale and obviously loved it. She's like, oh, she's got all the Yale memorabilia and everything. So it's like she got to do what she wanted, which is great because it's like, oh, once again, Wrigley, that act from Wrigley not only fucked over Steven, but it was such a huge help probably for Pippa and Diana's relationship. because she didn't leave to go to the West Coast and be super far away. And they were probably able to continue seeing each other or rekindling or whatever it is that got them back together because she was only at Yale. Yeah, exactly. And then also still being able to keep that friendship with Wrigley as well. Yeah. I thought that was nice. Man, though, did Wrigley not need that hair at the wedding? You know, why'd they do that to him like that? I think that was a wig. It had to be a wig. They're calling him Wiggly. Yeah. It was a wig. It was 100% a wig. It was really bad. It's just so drastic. look older. Yeah, they were trying to be like, oh, time jump, but like, he looks older with the short hair. So much better. They should have done what they did with Stephen. You know how they gave Stephen that haircut at the wedding? Yeah. They should have just done the same thing for Wrigley. It's also only six years. Like, a picture of me six years ago, I looked the exact same. Like, you didn't need to, like... I don't, so... So, maybe that could be true for some people, but... I feel like they kind of did it to... They really only did to Wrigley though. Like some of the girls maybe had a little bit of different haircuts but they didn't like drastically change. Well his hair was the drastic change. Yeah but like it was a drastic change. It's like he probably didn't need a wig. No no. They just needed to give him a haircut like they did with Steven. Yeah. You know. Yes. Whatever happened there. Wrigley's face when Steven started making that speech was so funny. Yeah. Did he already say that? No no no. No. I mean it was just like I think they all were kind of like holy shit it's all happening. But he looked like so happy about it because he's like, oh, good. Oh, I was eating it up. Well, they're smiling. Evan's screaming at him and he's just looking at Bree like, yeah. Love you. That was the worst part of it was that like, I didn't want to be smiling and laughing at Stephen doing this, but I was. I was like, I am eating this up and I hate that I'm eating this up. Well, because you know what? It was satisfaction for the viewer to be like, finally, the truth is out in the open. Someone fucking said it all. It did feel like kind of a light-hearted, funny ending to a show that seemed really serious and like dark for a lot of the time like if that makes sense like it was funny but I was okay with that and I find it to be like more hopeful like I find it to be like they didn't end it in a super dark depressing way it was like yeah some of these relations like are ending some are good some are in a happier place and like Lucy's finally learns her lesson and can be like he fucking got me again do you think she learned her lesson or if she sees him again she's falling no i think she did i hope i would like i would like to think she did and i hope that's what i will tell myself yeah i hope lucy gets into some therapy after this yeah megan oppe also said she thinks that lucy like never sees these people ever again she was like in her mind lucy like runs off and literally never sees any any of these people ever again i was like you know what good that is probably a good thing too and i think it was fine that it ended in a light-hearted sort of way with that because it shows that you can go through these really dark times like they all had gone through in college and then they are able to kind of move on from that as well or hopefully move on because we don't know what happens after this but it's hopeful. Yeah, definitely. So all in all I, you know, a good solid finale and sure like I was thinking like sure they could make more but I like that they're ending it at three sometimes so many shows overdo it too many seasons starts to get a little ridiculous it feels a little forced Megan finishing it where she wanted to and be like no this is really this is really it I think is always the right move where you sort of go out on top and it's often the fourth season where things get unraveled yeah notice in shows and on top of that I love that it's like not just like a money grab. Yeah. Because they could have made a fourth season because of how high the ratings are. But she was like, no, this is, I'm looking at this as the ending, which is great. If you could have a spinoff for one character, who would you want it to be? I would like to just see more of Bree and Wrigley. But I don't know how interesting that would be. Maybe there's not much drama there. Yeah. I'm just, I'm just like, aw, they were cute. To be honest, none of them are like worthy of, they need each other. They do. Right, because you could, well, you're not just gonna have one about Steven or one about Lucy. I mean, I could see one about Lucy if she just has a totally different life would be interesting. Yeah. You know what? I'm happy with this for now. And I think we can kind of like wrap the bow on it. And we don't need to be pushing for more spinoffs or anything right now. Agreed. All right. We are joined by Emmy-nominated choreographer, Dancing with the Stars pro, two-time mirror ball champion, Jenna Johnson. Wow. Thank you so much for joining us. Thanks for that intro. Of course. I'm obsessed. You deserve it. And cover model. Oh, work. Yes. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. We're so excited to have you in the studio. We've been trying to get you on the show for a while. I know you guys. I'm so happy this is happening. One of the busiest people alive. All of you guys are truly. Everyone is. Booked and busy as you should be. Thank you. I'm trying to seize the moment. But yes, I'm very excited to be here. Good. We're pumped. We're just chatting about the show because we went to go see Dancing Stars Live this past Sunday which we had such a blast and the show's so much fun but you guys you know it's not like a lot of breaks you guys are night after night after night after night so how do you feel how far along are you guys right now in the tour you're in the thick of it we are like I think we just decided that we are in our 20s of shows and we're doing 97 so we're in the beginning stages not even the middle 97 that's insane and you know yes it's like we're doing a show every night but the show itself is pretty physical it's non-stop for us I think I have one change that's like 12 seconds but I love it I love feeling I love being an artist first of all but I love feeling like an athlete there's like no better feeling than having maybe I'm psychotic I don't know But like having a full body exhaustion and going to bed that night and being like, I just gave everything I could. And that feels so fulfilling. Yeah. And we see it on stage. You are absolutely mesmerizing to watch. Thank you. It is so incredible. Not just to watch on TV, but to watch live in person is a whole other experience. I mean, you guys really give it your all. And you can tell that you're totally in your element while you're on stage. You mentioned the quick changing. Like you have maybe 12 seconds. Yeah. What happens if you don't get changed that fast? Like, do you miss the beat? Like, how does that happen? Because you guys seem to just do it every single time without a beat miss. So we're so lucky to have like the best wardrobe team ever. And they are just professional at these quick changes. But actually, I think it was last week. I have a dance with Val where it's on camera and the camera starts on me and I can't miss that beat. And my corset, the zipper broke. Oh. Oof. So my little titties were held in by a hook and I, and it's also my duet. I can't not go out there, and I start the piece. And so I was like, just do the hook and I. She did it, and then the whole rest of the dance, the back of my corset was open, and I'm trying to whisper to Vala, and I'm like, my top is broken. Don't pull it, or else we're screwed. Right, right, right. Yeah, you're like, there are kids in the audience. Yes, but again, it kind of makes it exciting, because that's just what makes like a professional is the show must go on. And so it keeps you on your toes if like little things like that happen, but it's not ideal. Obviously you want to look great. By the way, that dance is beautiful. Thank you. Like it's absolutely stunning, jaw dropping. The costumes are so much fun. I'm wondering like what's creatively when the tour is being formed and everyone you're organizing all those things, Like what what's everyone's role in kind of picking moments or choreography or anything like that? Yeah. Well, we have an incredible director, Mandy Moore, and she's known all of us for years. And so she knows a just like what our vibe is, what our style is. Also, I think something that's important for her and us, we're doing these dances 97 times. like what's a show that you're going to be proud to do and that you're not going to be over in a week right you know and so like even my dance with Val she sat down with us and she was like guys I've seen you dance a hundred times together I don't want to see you do just another passo or cha-cha that doesn't mean anything she was like I really want you to think about what you want to do this tour and we I loved that because it really pushed us but we decided we wanted to make like a mini movie on stage and play with camera and we do have this live camera element um and so she kind of like create this whole movie for us um and it was just so inspiring to be part of that so i would say like she determines the show and the songs and we can bring some ideas to her for sure um like val and danny knew that they wanted to do like a brooklyn themed like something together you know they never really get a dance together and so that's such a special moment for them um and then when it comes to costumes we have the same costume uh our wardrobe department from the show works on the tour and so again she knows our body she knows what we like and also you're wearing this piece for four months yeah like you need to feel good you want to feel hot you know yep um so i think it's just a comfort thing um but something that's going to keep you inspired for four months because it's a long one the showgirl copacabana like i was like that's incredible like god i was just i don't know when i would ever in my life maybe halloween yeah that's that's true you can borrow something like that but the whole time i'm like god that what a fun costume we got to put on so fun and it really shows your guys creativity and how talented of artists you really are like you and val saying you wanted to feel like a movie up there and and it did feel that way because when the camera starts on you all of a sudden you're just locked into your face on the stage and you're brought through that and it's just incredible and like you mentioned like Val and Daniela dancing together is so fun and the way that you all can have so much chemistry with each other I'm amazed by every single time I see it happen and and I just going off of that I think it's so fun for our audiences to see because we are always paired with a celebrity partner yeah and we create magic with them and that chemistry and that camaraderie but you never really get to see us dance with each other and like that's what we're really good at and so I love that the tour celebrates the pros and I think of all the tours especially this one they have pushed us so hard and they really want us to feel like stars like that feels stupid to say but we can feel it yeah and like even with the audience's response and support but yeah it is so much fun with for me to dance with Brandon like I don't get to dance with him all year long and i've known him since we were eight and so to be able to like do a beautiful contemporary emotional piece with him it's such a treat to do i never get to dance with pasha and we get to do an argentine tango this year like it's just it's so fun to dance with elite dancers as well you know what i mean yeah and i love that everyone's the best of the best right and i love that you bring up the point where like you really feel like a star because although the show is called Dancing with the Stars, you guys are stars yourselves. Like, you know what I mean? Like, yes, you're a pro, but you're also a star. I think for a couple of seasons, we were the supporting characters. And that's ultimately our job. Like, you know, we have a purpose when we are in season and it's to take care of our celebrity and give them the best experience possible. And we're also competitive. But it's amazing to see. And maybe it's the shift of social media and us being able to create our own little reality shows behind the scenes during the season. But it's so interesting to see the love and genuine interest fans have of us now. Where like even this season, I feel like the pros engagement was like just as popping as some of our celebrities that we had. Yeah, I mean, people are obsessed with you guys as we all are. And, you know, everyone has always been interested in your guys' lives because who's married to who, who's dated who in the past, who grew up together knowing somebody who's eight years old. People are just coming to realize, though, that that was the case. Like, for those that have been watching this show forever, you're like, oh, yeah, we know all this about them. But these newer, this newest audience, they're like, wait, what? What's the lore? They're married. It's so funny seeing everybody connect the dots online. And now there's even more of a microscope on all of you guys. What is that feeling like? Because not only, you know, there's always been a microscope on your professional life and dancing, but now it's personal as well. Even, you know, when the show ends, the season's over all throughout the year. I guess it's a little different for me because it's always kind of been that way for me because my relationship has just been public for a while. So I feel like now some of the other pros are experiencing what I've felt for a while where everyone has a say on everything. And it's overwhelming. And Ezra and I were just talking about this. Like, yeah, it's wild that there's this expectation from us to, like, have us at such a close reach, you know? And for people to have us say, it's not just about your choreography now or your dance or whether they like your partnership or not. It's like, no, everything. Your facial expressions on how you react to what the judges are saying about another couple. Everything's under a microscope. And sometimes I feel like that must be hard because you must be like, listen, I just finished my dance. I'm tired. You're waking up so early in the morning to get ready. And sometimes anybody could just like space out thinking about something. But now they're looking at every single reaction everybody has to everything. But also it's not just on camera. It's now fans have videos of us in the skybox in a commercial break when we just are usually like off or just, you know, whatever it is. and that can be taken out of context. You're taking a chill moment. Yes. So yeah, it's interesting. But I feel like, again, I've kind of been under more of a microscope for so long. So I feel like I have a little bit more experience with it. Like you said, you talked to Ezra about it. Are people asking you for advice? Like, okay, Jenna, how do you deal with all of this? Yes, again, because I think it is, it's usually just been so professional about like whether they liked your dance or not. But it is now so much more in depth with this relationship online and social media. So integrated into our world and into the show, honestly, as it needs to be. But like, yeah, even this December, like I just wanted to turn off a little bit. And I had such anxiety that I wasn't posting. And that's never been part of my life. Like I've never had this like FOMO of, oh, man, I'm not sharing. I'm not sharing. people are asking me why am I not posting why am I not posting like I've never had that anxiety before and that was a lot like I don't always want to be sharing everything I love privacy like I'm down to be vulnerable in an open book but like this expectation that I need to be sharing daily weekly like that's just not sustainable because the show has made you guys like like social media stars and they expect I think people expect the same amount yes when the show's not on yeah it is And you're like, well, when the show's on, you're posting all the time because it's now kind of feels like part of the job. It's like you got to be sharing the behind the scenes. And then when the show's not on, it's like, oh, I guess am I still supposed to be doing all the same? But I want to know, because you guys are taking a little bit of a break, why you and Val wanted to go back to do tour. Oh, yes. I think for a while, you know, like I was pregnant, so that wasn't an option for us to do tour. I then was like postpartum. and we did a month of tour two years ago when my son had just turned one because that felt like that was sustainable enough but both of us are still performers and we really love to dance and also like last year when I won with Joey I came out for about four weeks sporadically throughout the tour but I wasn't able to take my son with me and that was really really hard like I didn't want to do that anymore. So when this tour came up, we didn't really know it was an option for us to do the whole thing as a family because we'd never expressed like, we're down. Yeah, you will accommodate us. The three of us will go on the road for four months. Yeah. So I think we just had to have like a really honest conversation with the tour. And they were really excited by the idea of it. And but we kind of had like terms, you know, like it is a package. And we are bringing somebody else because we have need a nanny to go with us too like that's a lot to ask yeah um and they accommodated everything and i think it was also you know i think val knew that he was going to have an absolutely epic season with alex and i think because i felt that support last year when i was able to tour with joey and like meet the fans that supported us i know that that was important for him as well to be able to like see the fans face to face and like thank them because it is wild that these strangers show up for you week after week and like support you during a really intense time of your life and so yeah I'm so happy that both of us get to be on the road touring the whole time it's been five years since we've done a whole Dancing with the Stars tour so it's it's pretty amazing and the fact that we get to do it with our son he gets he watches the show every night. It's nuts. Did getting to watch how Danielle and Pasha did it help you guys at all? Because I know that they've had their daughter with them as well. For sure. I think that made it feel more accessible for us. And like, oh, it is realistic. It's hard. Yeah. You know, like we're finishing, we're going to bed at 2 a.m. every day and then my son's up. But, you know, he still needs us to be mommy and daddy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think watching them really was like, okay, there is a blueprint for this. It can work. And then also I think that was something that was really exciting for us is my son is in school and we didn't want to take him out of those social experiences with kids. So knowing that there was going to be another toddler on the road and they have the sweetest relationship. They're so cute. They are so sweet. It's insane. We had a video of him giving her a little kiss and she was like, oh my God, it is so sweet. It was so cute. I think all of the stars really aligned for us and just it was like an easy yes let's do this. What is life like on the road? Like are you guys traveling in the buses every single day? Yeah. Can you take us through that? Every time you guys talk about it I'm like there is no possible way. They're all on these buses every day are they? Yes. Yes. It is a bus tour you know and it's very different than like an artist tour where you're doing two days on. four days off or three days on. No, we are going six days on and we only have one day off a week. And we could be doing six or seven shows a week because usually we have like a matinee show like we did this past Sunday. But yeah, you basically wake up on a bus. You sleep in bunks. We have like a little back room for our family, but honestly the bunks are more comfortable because it's like a little coffin that's so dark and it just like rattles you to sleep You wake up you walk straight into a venue So you not going to a hotel You wake up at the venue And in the freezing snow you getting your suitcases off the bus if you need to Dragging them into the venue. Set up shop. Brush your teeth. Shower. Do your little routine, whatever you can fit in. So that's like going to a coffee shop in the new city. Go to the gym. Do whatever you need to do. Some work stuff. And then, honestly, the girls have to start getting ready by like 3 p.m. Because we do meet and greets every day around 5. You do a meet and greet for an hour and a half. And then you have about 30 minutes of dinner going straight into warm-up. And then from warm-up, we have about 30 minutes to quickly put on some tan, do our last-minute touch-ups. And then we're on stage. And we do a two-hour show every night. You get off the stage. you shower in venues. Sometimes they're locker rooms. Sometimes they're scary little bathrooms. You never know. That's where you do your little nighttime routine. Put on your PJs. Bundle up. Back on the bus. Drag your suitcases. Put them on the bus and go to sleep. Huge props to you guys. Honestly. Huge props. The day in the life. You guys are out there looking absolutely fucking drop dead gorgeous every single day and night. So it's just so impressive. I'm like don't look at me too closely today. It's like getting a little crusty. It's like second day. I'm mesmerized by how you look. You just look absolutely beautiful. It's crazy because I just feel like people go on tour now and it's like nobody really does the bus thing that much anymore. Is it really fun? This is what I imagine it's like because honestly I would love to be touring on a bus. Come sleep over. Is it really fun at first? Everyone's excited. It's just starting and then midway through you're like fuck we're still on this bus for sure and then at the end you're like oh no i'm gonna miss the bus that's exactly this is what i imagine it's like that's the flow first is like sleepover yeah and then yeah which is why it's also funny because i've seen ezra talk about it too and it's like he cracks me up because he's like yeah you know it's fun but then it's all like they're all with their families like they're most are married relationships there's kids like you're just like all right let me get my bunk yeah i love the pairing that um ezra and hayley have right now because they are they dance together just magically and they're both so good and they were like a huge highlight of of the show for me yesterday both of them I was like they're incredible it's fun because we actually our bus is that group so it's me Val Rome or nanny and then it's Haley and Ezra and it's just great vibes obviously I feel very protective of Haley being my niece And I just want to like I didn't have anybody showing me the ropes when I was 19 joining the show. And I just want to be able to like show her the ropes and help her guide her in a smooth transition into the craziness of this. But then Ezra, I've also known since he was like 10. Yeah. And so it just feels like family traveling together. I love having them on our bus. It is so funny how you guys have known each other since you were younger. The dance community is so small. she's a small one and it's like also four of us are from utah together like we're taking over oh i love it i love hearing all about the behind the scenes like you've been saying you've known as like i think this is why we become attached and want to know more about you guys yeah no it is special what are you what have you been thinking about i know you kind of joke that you guys already kind of do your own like behind the scenes stuff yeah but the fans want like a reality show. I'm down. I thought that's what we were getting with the big announcement, which we're really excited for the Dancing with the Stars we'll talk about that. But yeah, full reality show. Full reality show. It's funny because I've said for years that there should be a reality show about either the behind the scenes of the tour, us on a bus. Like, that is interesting. So interesting. Because it's so unique that I have spent more time with these people than my own family. You know, like I don't see my siblings or my parents as much as I have seen these people sleeping in a bunk six inches away from me. But also too, I think the fans would love it. Totally. And the tour has been doing a great job of putting out these like many little episodes. We did film a lot of the making of this tour when we were in tech. And we've kind of just been like dropping little episodes here and there. And I think the response has been so encouraging. I'm like, guys, let's get on this. We need a documentary. Yes. We need the whole thing. Because it really is a testament to how hard you guys work, though, really. Because you guys are getting on that bus. You don't give a shit. You're going to the showers that are maybe in a small bathroom. You know, speaking of your body, your abs have been quite the conversation this past season. And I have to say, you know, everyone's always like, Jenna, give us the ab routine. I'm like, guys, she's dancing 24-7. I'm not sure I have a special routine. No matter what routine she tells us all, we're not going to look like that unless we are dancing 24-7. And still, I don't know if we have the genetics for that, everybody, okay? She is a specimen. it's so funny I don't know how it happens I mean the power of social media but it's been super funny and super sweet of everybody to comment on my abs I guess no they're insane I mean it's like not to objectify but it is hard not to look at you and go that's fucking awesome like to just I think it's empowering really what I think it is as a woman to be able to look at you and be like yeah her abs are fucking awesome. She's so strong and like we want to be strong like her. You know that. Thank you. I think I just am a really disciplined consistent person and I haven't always had like abs like this and so it is a lot of hard work. There's not one thing that I did that all of a sudden they just magically appeared but I think it's just like years of discipline and saying no to certain things but yeah it's it's so wild that my abs were memes and going viral like that was not on my bingo card for this year at all. And that was part of the show too. Oh yeah, it was the course specialist. Yes, yes. So good. I know, that does make me laugh because it's such a funny thing, especially with socials. Like, drop the workout routine queen. You're like, girl, dance 24-7, I don't know. You get on there, you're like, I don't have a routine, I'm sorry. Chase a toddler, dance. I get a little bit of a plank in before we get out there. But it is so sick though. Like just to see like a strong woman out there. And a strong woman who gets to be on cover of this magazine. You're on Supermodels Unlimited. Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Gorgeous cover. Have you seen? There's a billboard? Yes. You've seen it or haven't seen it? I have a picture of it. Okay. Okay. But you're going to see it. Yes. Yes. Amazing. But that, you know, I like with my team, I made a little dream list for the year last year and that was on the list to like do a cover I did two this year which is just crazy and then to also like have a billboard in Times Square so so it's not even just a cover it's like most beautiful yeah it's the most beautiful issue most beautiful I'm not deserving I'm not deserving you absolutely are radio city and a billboard in Times Square in one weekend yeah like the emotions really are coming in I don't know what life is honestly you got to do like you know full kind of more high fashion-esque cover, right? Yeah. So you got to do all the shoots. What was that experience like for you of getting to play dress up and do all that? Yeah, I loved it because I think, too, I'm always an athleisure. And I did a cover that was more like sports and athletic gear, which was so fun. But I really am so interested in fashion and styling. And I've been just really pushing myself in that element to not just be dancer, Jenna, but to be able to be many different things. And so, yeah, to be able to be in like a dress and more high fashion was such an accomplishment for me. Yeah, and I get to play dress up all the time, but they're like costumes, you know, so to be in like gowns and jewelry and just like styled, it was such an incredible experience. So gorgeous. I feel like it's such a fun element to get to see you guys do other stuff. because I know everyone's like, it's Jenna dancer. It's like everybody's kind of like dancer title. And I'm sure you guys all have other fun interests and hobbies and things you love to do, but dance is such a huge thing in your life. And you've been dancing since you were how old? Three. Yeah. Like so forever, your entire life. Yeah. That will always be my identity. Yeah. But is there something like, I'm sure you've been asked this before, but if you weren't a dancer, is there something in your head of like, oh, I would have liked to have done that? Yeah. I am just enamored by anatomy and like blood does not scare me at all like even last night in the changing room Daniela had a bead stuck in her foot oh and this was in the first act yeah before in intermission we had to get it out and I was like hands in there give me the tweezers yes I love that stuff and my dad was a surgeon and so I would this is niche this is crazy but I I'm a forensic anthropologist and like really specialized in bones and bodies. I also like love murder investigations. I'm obsessed. So you would be like the person when on SVU, they like get the body and then they're like, someone look at this body and tell us what happens. Connect the dots. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've just always been intrigued. That's not what I thought you were going to say and I love it. I love that answer. And also I bet with, like you said, you know, Daniela, she's a, like that probably happens all the time. where there's some sort of cuts, bruises. Yeah. Yeah. No, I, like, you know, the other night, I scraped my foot and it was gushing blood mid-show and you just, like, gotta wipe it, put a Band-Aid wrap your foot and go back out there. So, like, none of that stuff ever grosses me out. Yeah. It's weird. But a booger or, like, poop? Absolutely not. I don't do it. Like, get that, ew. Blood, gore, gush. You're getting your kid, you're like, that's disgusting. You're gross. Literally. Literally. Go wipe your nose, please. Please. so you and Joey were one of our favorite pairings of all time we were voting religiously you guys were so sweet and supportive and we love that Joey just keeps coming back I'm like not thinking of Dancing with the Stars can we get rid of this guy I love that people fell in love with him on The Bachelor obviously but I think they really got to know him as a person on Dancing with the Stars I think it's such a testament to the environment that you guys all create too that so many stars like want, they're like, how can I stay involved in the show? Yes. That they want to stay around, which is so nice. But you've had so many now like really iconic partners, you know, whether it was Jojo Siwa, Joey. For these next few seasons, do you have anybody in mind? Anybody you've seen you're like, ooh, I would love to get them as a partner. There's so many. Yeah. So, so many. Mr. Fantasy is at the top of my list Wow Listen If Mr. Fantasy was on Dancing with the Stars At some point does he drop the act? At some point do we see KJ Apa come out and be like Nope It's me I'm going for Mr. Fantasy You want him to be Mr. Fantasy Of course And listen he's a great dancer Yeah He's got the moves Funky moves He came to the show this season And it was just so fun to meet him So I think that would be just absolutely epic I think somebody from the Olympics would be iconic this next season you know I'm hopeful that they're going to get a couple I'd love to dance with Ilya I think he has such an icon he has a great story and I think he is just so talented I have yet to have an NFL player and it sucks because again the ones that are actually playing are in season during the time so I'd love like a recently retired one yeah like maybe like a Jason Kelsey I've had him on the top of my list for a while as well I think his personality would be so much fun um and I think he would actually be low-key so good I think he would too he would be that person that just picks it up yeah I think he would I think he would pick it up and yeah and I think like some people just like I think he has natural rhythm like some people just have natural rhythm I think he could maybe figure it out we all saw those videos from the Super Bowl exactly he's got some moves in there yeah they're in there freak flag fly and it's just And I love an unexpected person. Like Joey, I feel like was unexpected. Everyone thought he was going to be like boring and not good and like too left feet. And then every week he just kept getting better. Yeah, he kind of beat those like the bachelor are never really good kind of stereotypes. Because every time there's a bachelor that comes on, they do all right. Some have done better than others. The bachelorettes are always good. The bachelorettes always outkick the bachelors. obviously um but then also too i think one of my most fulfilling seasons was with jojo seawall where there was a challenge you know it was different it was the first time ever and so if there were somebody that not was a challenge but was just like a different unique situation i would absolutely volunteer like yeah i want to do it i want to be pushed i want creatively like I love that I'm excited for you and I know that's obviously not necessarily on purpose but I do think sometimes when someone has an amazing season it like flip flops it goes back and forth and then the next season is like maybe they're not on for as long I can't imagine honestly having winter after winter after winter is probably exhausting too but not even like whatever making it far so I feel like this season this next season And you deserve somebody fantastic. Thank you. I'm ready. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to be ready. And we are always ready. And, you know, this season, you know, another one of our favorites was Alex and Val. And they were just so incredible week after week. And Robert and Whitney were so good. Like that finale was just so tough. It was like. Insane. It was amazing all around. This season was incredible. And now we have Dancing with the Stars Con coming up in the summer. And we are excited about this. was just announced. You guys announced it on Good Morning America. Can you tell us a little bit about this? Like what we can expect from all of you? There's some great special guests. Yeah. So it's basically a weekend long experience. July 31st through August 2nd. Yes. And it's going to be in Palm Springs. And I am actually really excited about this selfishly because a lot of my past partners are coming and it is so wild that you share this intimate exhausting insane experience with somebody for three months and then you go about your lives and never really see each other ever again in that capacity right you remain friends and everything but like i'm just so excited to have past celebrities come back see them maybe dance like i know jojo and i will be dancing um i think joey and i will be dancing oh you know joey's gonna you know joey's gonna want But then also like I'm so excited to see Christina Yamaguchi like I didn't get to meet her because I wasn't on. So like I want to see her freaking in person. I want to see her dance. I want to hear her on a panel, which I know that there's going to be. So there's two shows that are happening. There's going to be some live performances. There's panels. But also I think something that's so special. We really felt the support of the fans the past two seasons. This is a fan experience. Like if you haven't been able to come to a tour or you had, but want to meet more people, more celebrities, have more of those intimate interactions. This is your place to do it. Yeah. I think that's a great thing about a convention. And I feel like if somebody hasn't been to one, they don't realize that there is so much opportunity to meet people that you're a huge fan of. You know, like other networks have done it for other shows. And there's other everyone's always in the space. Right. Like the dancers could be walking by and you're like, oh, my God, they're right there. and you would never think that you would get to meet someone you're such a big fan of. So I do think it's an amazing experience for fans. I'm shocked we haven't done this yet. You know, it's like BravoCon's been happening. Why haven't we had our own? Like, let's get into it. Yeah, and it's going to be in a beautiful spot as well. Yes. Yeah, that's definitely a nice added element. You're right. And I think like, and it feels like it's all kind of happening at the right time, though, too. You've been celebrating just like massive milestones for the show. with how many seasons and years and all these, you know, 20 years and all these things that you guys have gotten to do. So it's like, it feels like a good time to commemorate all of, all of that as well. Like we were at the, um, the 20th, 20th anniversary anniversary show. And that was even just so cool from where we were sitting looking because so many, uh, pro like pro stars were all there that have been on and I'm seeing, you're seeing them all sit around the ballroom. and just even from that you're like oh duh like put them all in a put them all at a convention also I think it will be fun to like like you're saying have people from different seasons yeah interact and be in the same shared space you know because you get to know the people from your specific season but there's all these different connections and to like see everyone in one place is going to be pretty awesome definitely because I think it's cool to to get to see some of the ex-stars and stuff interact with other pros too because you see when you watch a show it's like you really see the star in the capacity of who they are partnered up with and you don't really get to see them do much else which is why i always i know it's always never under like good circumstances because it means somebody was hurt or sick or something that when a when a star would have to dance with a different pro and you'd be like oh not good because something obviously bad this happened but sometimes you get like incredible dances and you're like oh my god that was so cool to see them yeah and they all have you all have relationships with everybody you see everybody every day it's also fun because yeah we do get to get to know other people like danielle official was one of my favorite people i've ever met she is nelly every tuesday before results he would let me try on his new rolex that he wore for the show it was like our ritual he'd be like here try it And I'd be like, oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. So there's just so many special bonds as well. And I love that you've observed that. Because we do get to interact, not as much with just our partner, but you create special bonds together. Especially the relay they did this season when we got to see the different pairings of when Gil and Efron danced with Rumor Willis. And everyone was like, oh my god, they're incredible together. Two stars dancing together is awesome. So I can't wait to see, you know, what comes from Dancing with the Stars Con. We're so excited. I know. It's going to be so much fun. So how are you, how do you prep for the rest of the tour? Like, where are you off to next? We head to Pennsylvania. Okay. And then we're just making our rounds. We go to D.C. We're in Baltimore this week. We're all over. Is the next show tomorrow or tonight? Tomorrow. Yeah. I do have a day off. I was going to say, one day off and you're here. I'm sorry. No, honestly, I'm actually so excited. Like, I really wanted to do this. So this is very fulfilling for my day off. But then I just want to run around New York City with my son and with Val. And we obviously, Val was so sweet for Valentine's Day. Like, he was very stressed that we had to work and we had a show day and there was a lot going on. And so he was like, we're going to do a date night on our day off. So, yeah. find those human moments I love it get some good food and just enjoy New York City love it I don't know why I'm like so fixated on waking up in another place I'm like wow obviously it's planned so that you can make it in time to the next place in just an overnight and one overnight drive yeah you visit it all over you go to sleep and you wake up and you're in a new state a new city do you ever do you ever get on stage and have to be like someone remind me where we are oh yeah thank goodness i am not emma because she has to welcome the city every day right um so yeah i could not because i'm even like what day is it today is it thursday i have no idea so it is funny watching you guys on stage i'm like oh we haven't we haven't heard them talk and i'm like you know what they're doing their thing up there yeah they're dancing yeah i'm like they're dancing i miss hearing them talk right right right it's like how much can we ask for Yeah, right, exactly. From a whole show. But this was so much fun. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for popping in. Thank you so much for making the time for us. Enjoy the rest of your day off. Thanks. And we can't wait to see what Dancing with the Stars Con comes out with. And obviously whatever happens for the next season of the show. Thank you. And who you get to be dancing with. I'm excited. And we'll be following along on TikTok. Absolutely. But take the break as you need. Oh, no, no, no, no. She's back. She's motivated. She's motivated. But if you don't want to post, it's fine. I appreciate that. You know what I mean? Thank you for that support and understanding. Like boundaries. Yeah. You know what? Just say back to them. You know what? Reece said I don't have to post today. I'll be your social media manager. It's fine. She's taking the day off. Okay? Thank you so much, Jenna. Thank you, Jenna. Thanks, guys.
