•Feb 11, 20264 months agoSummary
This episode features Kane, a Pennsylvania native and Army veteran, sharing multiple Bigfoot encounters including a dramatic June 2021 incident at Fort Knox military base where an 8-foot bipedal creature walked through his sleeping platoon's patrol base, a daylight sighting in Colorado's Gunnison National Forest, and family hunting encounters in Pennsylvania. The discussion explores Bigfoot behavior patterns, research methodology, and the stigma surrounding cryptid reporting.
Insights
- Military training environments in remote forest areas may increase Bigfoot encounter frequency due to large-scale human presence flushing creatures from hiding and disrupting their territories
- Sasquatch appear to use vocalizations (whoops and clicking sounds) as location-finding mechanisms when separated from their groups, similar to elk and turkey calling patterns
- Bigfoot activity correlates with food sources and water access, suggesting they follow similar habitat selection patterns as mature whitetail deer in avoiding human pressure areas
- Widespread stigma and fear of ridicule prevent the majority of Bigfoot encounters from being reported, meaning documented cases represent less than 1% of actual experiences
- Sasquatch may possess unexplained abilities beyond typical animal behavior that contribute to government secrecy and difficulty in obtaining physical evidence
Trends
Increased Bigfoot research activity among military veterans seeking post-service purpose and applying tactical skills to cryptid investigationGrowing correlation between Bigfoot sightings and protected federal lands (national forests, military bases) where human access is restrictedShift toward treating Sasquatch habitat research similarly to wildlife biology, using whitetail deer behavior patterns as predictive modelsRising acceptance of Bigfoot research in outdoor enthusiast communities compared to mainstream scientific institutionsEmergence of trail camera and photo documentation as standard research methodology among independent Bigfoot researchersIncreased focus on water sources and salmon hatcheries as Bigfoot activity hotspots during seasonal feeding periodsGrowing documentation of Bigfoot nursery areas and family group structures through track analysis and behavioral observation

Quotes
"I appreciate what you do and all the work that you put in. I've been listening to your YouTube videos for a very long time. I've specifically stuck with your channel because of the research you do and I think that makes you stand out compared to the other channels."
Kane•Early in episode
"I kind of have to, if you're going to speak with other people about Bigfoot, you kind of have to know what's going on. You kind of have to get out there and get your hands dirty out in the forest."
Miguel•Early discussion
"It was so loud it shook my chest and I just hear this thing standing or whatever it is standing walking whatever on four feet it sounded like two feet but don't know because i didn't actually get eyes on it."
Kane•Fort Knox encounter description
"I think that when we pushed through here, we were the second regiment. So these things had kind of been living back there for a better half of the year, you know, just hanging low. But I think that we pushed them out."
Kane•Fort Knox analysis
"People are certainly living in a fantasy land and it's just the reality that has been built for people to survive, whether it's having electricity, paying insurance, having an 8-to-5 job. And once all that collapses, if the power grid goes out, you're going to be out there with the sasquatches."

I just wanted to start off by saying that I appreciate what you do and all the work that you put in. I've been listening to your or watching your YouTube videos for a very long time. I've specifically stuck with your channel because of the research you do and I think that makes you stand out compared to the other channels and I'm very appreciative for that and giving everyone a platform that has encounters. Absolutely. And I appreciate you for supporting the channel. And yeah, I like to get out there and get my hands dirty out in the forest. And I feel like you kind of have to, if you're going to speak with other people about Bigfoot, you kind of have to know what's going on. Definitely. If you would, tell me about your first experiences, where you're from and how everything ties in, okay? Okay. My name's Kane. I'm from Pennsylvania. My encounters and other things I'm going to talk about kind of vary throughout the East Coast. But the most important one, which I'll be talking about first, is from Kentucky, which is specifically right outside of Fort Knox, the Army base there. this was back in 2021 and this was in June I was at Fort Knox for training for the army and the first half of our training wasn't having to do out in the woods but eventually towards the And we had to do training out and around Fort Knox. Well, the training we did, some of it was on base, but a lot of most of it took place off base, which which means there could be civilians in the area. But there wasn't this time of the year because we were carrying real guns, shooting blanks, and no person would be out there. And we're kind of out in the middle of nowhere, even though it's off base. So how this training took place was we did three separate three-day iterations. each three-day iteration was a different pace of training but it was all sort of the same thing and what was kind of taking place to paint the picture was infantry tactics so we're doing what's called patrolling you're using you're moving as a platoon and you're moving through the woods basically as you would in like a war like scenario and you're not walking on trails you're just pushing straight through the woods it doesn't matter if it's a hill a creek whatever it is you're moving right through it and then we would finish our training for the day we would move through the woods and this terrain we would move through was unlike any other terrain I've seen you're talking about rolling hills that move right into thick vegetation the rolling hills have grass like it was up above your head at certain points it's extremely thick and it was kind of it kind of gave you like a untouched like archaic kind of feeling to it like nothing you'd see in your typical like hunting uh like mountain hunting or anything like this is very like untouched land is how it felt um some spots i often got the feeling that you were being watched as well just like an eerie feeling through some spots and um it was like very identifiable when you feel that feeling too um but moving into the encounter this was our last day of our third iteration so that we were all ready to get out of the woods it's our last day and each one of the nights that we would go to sleep there'd always be a fire watch so someone would have to be awake at all points of the night keeping watch on the radio and how he would sleep was in what's called a patrol base so it's kind of like a triangle formation and uh everyone sleeps in a sleeping bag on the ground in a triangle formation kind of spaced out and that's for like how we have like our guns spaced out and how we kind of keep security um simulating again the patrolling in real life like war scenario so this night in particular uh we it was this is june so very warm but this night in particular was the coldest night of them all uh i find it kind of ironic that right before i went to bed i actually had eaten jack link's beef jerky because they're they always do the bigfoot skip but i happened to eat jack link's beef jerky that night uh before i went to bed and we actually had a um uh like a gunfight right before we bed right before we bedded down that was the that was always the training scenario we'd get attacked by op 4 which i'm sure viewers are kind of familiar with from other encounters op 4 is like fake enemy and they attack you and we would shoot actual blank rounds so like it sounds like gunshots going off and we're just lighting up the woods. One thing, another thing I want to mention is the regiment that I was in was the second regiment. So each season that they do this training, there's about 10 to 20 regiments that push through with roughly about 500 soldiers that are all split up into different platoons. And we just push through this woods, like all different areas. so whatever's in there is bound to get kicked up even the stuff that's hiding in the thickest stuff is bound to have to move and that is a very central thing to this encounter that i'll get into in a little bit so i go to sleep and like i had mentioned this is the coldest night so normally i would have my head out of the sleeping bag but this night in particular i was fully zipped in um i also had my phone with me which some platoons weren't allowed to but my platoon was not as strict or a cadre so i go to sleep and i estimate it to be about anywhere from midnight to one in the morning where i started to drift out of sleep and become fully awake and what made me drift out of sleep was i started to hear a noise approaching our patrol base out in the middle of the woods. Our cadre were not in the area because we have radio. We have radios to be able to keep comms with them in case anything would go down. So it is literally just us and whatever other platoons are in the general area. Well, this noise that I heard was a whooping sound. And I could hear it from really far off at first when I started slowly drifting out of sleep and it would get closer and closer and I'm gonna make the sound that I heard and the first part was three whoops and then it was followed by a clicking noise and I'll do the whoops and I'll do the clicking noise so I apologize that this is loud but it was extremely loud in person like loudest I've ever heard something like an animal be loud so it went and then it was followed by the clicking noise and this clicking noise really reminds me of like how you'd picture like a gorilla smacking its lips like you could hear the lip smack it was like very eerie sound like creepy and i'll get to why it's so scary so i'm hearing this noise approach and at this point I'm fully awake and I'm listening to this and it starts getting closer and then I start hearing the footsteps approaching I'm like oh shit like this thing's getting here pretty quick and I don't hear anybody else like waking up I'm just kind of laying there silently and listening and starting a business can be overwhelming you're juggling multiple roles designer, marketer, logistics manager, all while bringing your vision to life. This does Acer for you and a cost-effective community. Acer does it. So, then you can listen to your podcast. of disoriented because you're in a sleeping bag and it's dark and i'm just laying there in the middle of the woods and that's when i started to realize that this thing was moving bipedally it or bipedal two feet it was it would go like i'd say about five to ten steps you could hear each step and it was covering ground like i heard this thing from far away what it sounded like And it was approaching very quickly, but it wasn't like it was running. It was just moving quickly when it would move. And I'd say it'd make five, ten steps, and then it would stop. When you heard it stop, it would kind of like maybe shuffle its feet a little bit, and it would repeat the same exact thing every single time. And I'm talking loud, loud vocals. These whoops were loud. It would do the same whoop, and then it would do the clicking noise. I didn't hear the clicking noise until it got closer. Eventually, this thing is like on us. It is on the edge of our patrol base. And it got into the literal center of our patrol base. Like, and you're talking about all these soldiers, probably about 40, maybe 30 of us all sleeping around here. It was in the dead center. This thing was five feet, five to 10 feet away from me. and it stopped in the dead center of the patrol base and did this whoop loud as ever it was so loud it shook my chest and i just hear this thing standing or whatever it is standing walking whatever on four feet it sounded like two feet but don't know because i didn't actually get eyes on it and i'll get into why that is um and i hear it like breathing like it's like a i could hear it like gasp after it did the whoop and it's like and then you can hear it kind of like make like little grunting sounds like and then the lip smack was like clear as ever make kept making the sound so at this point my heart is racing out of my chest like just laying there and i'm like all right i'm gonna try and get a picture of whatever this thing is and I'm thinking like how am I going to do this like this thing's literally like feet a couple feet away from me and I put my hand on my phone and I'm like all right I'm gonna swipe to the I have an iPhone I'm gonna swipe to the right get to the picture I'm gonna pull the zipper down my sleeping bag and just snap a pic of this thing and I'm building up the guts and it's right in front of me and i go to like make the motion of pulling the zipper down and like pull my phone out and something in my brain just was like stop like don't do it stop stop stop like it was just like a i didn't hear a voice but it was just like a sensation it was just like don't do it and that feeling made me freeze, like completely frozen, almost like a night terror, like how it makes you feel like you can't move, and I was just kind of frozen there listening to this thing, and then I kind of just accepted it, and I was like, I don't know what this thing is. If I take a picture of it, what's going to happen to me? you know it's the it's the military crazy things happen and i wasn't ready to put myself in a situation where i would be in some sort of danger you know i'm thinking worst comes to worst i don't know if this thing is and it drags me out of the woods well then it keeps moving and it walks uh oh also i'll mention through this whole time i did not hear anybody else really waking up i might have heard like one little like sleeping bag russell because this whoop was loud and we're all tired from the train i mean this is our last day we're out there for like there's a day in between each three days we're out there for about 12 days at this point um all really tired and so this thing keeps moving and it keeps the same routine the whole way through walks about 10 20 feet stops does the do three whoops and then it would be followed by the clicking noise and this thing just kept going i listened to it until i couldn't hear it anymore and i just heard it go over the hill and keep going off into the distance and the echo just slowly like faded away into the distance but i was sitting there listening to this thing for like I'd say somewhere around 10 to 20 minutes, just keep going and often at the distance. And a lot of people that I've told this to are like, oh, it's your cadre messing with you or something else. I'm like, no, they're not out there with us. If that was them, I don't think they would keep going a mile into the woods. And it's just, it happened too perfectly for it to be that scenario. This was an animal I heard it grunt like right next to me Like it just sounded big So after this thing actually originally just like I would say it was probably like 50 feet away from us at this point, I said out loud because I was awake and I said, what the F was that? Like I said it out loud to everyone. No response. So eventually go back to sleep. I don't even know what to think at this point. still in my sleeping bag and wake up the next morning and I at this point I know I had known what Bigfoot was and I was somewhat of a believer but I obviously never thought I'd encounter anything like it but first thing in the morning like all right I'm gonna go look like are there like footprints or anything nothing it's dry dirt and leaves mostly just leaves covering dry dirt I looked around couldn't see anything and then i started asking people i'm like yo anybody here whatever that was that just walked through the center of the patrol base last night a lot of people said no i didn't hear anything there was um one guy who said that it was a skunk which is just absolute bs um i there there was one person who said i don't know what that was but it's it's stepped on my sleeping bag and that would have i think that would have sent me off the edge if that was my case because i was fully awake but um that's the other aspect of it is at least other people recognized it was there so it takes it takes out the option that this was some sort of like lucid dream or something it wasn't i was wide awake i heard this thing come in from far away and i heard it go very far away from where we were at um and at that point i just had to let it be because nobody really wanted to entertain it um i think i mentioned bigfoot at one point i just kind of got some weird looks and i was like all right i'm not gonna convince these people and um trying to think uh i did reach back out to everybody at a different point in time like like, all right, somebody's got to fess up to hearing this thing. And I got the same responses, same kid saying I was a skunk, and then nobody else responded. Part of me thinks that's because it freaked out whoever else it was, and they're not, like, into this sort of subject, and they just don't know how to approach it or don't want to acknowledge it. Because it's pretty freaky. I do have some other weird things that happened. And I don't know if you want me or other things that had to do with this specific thing. I'll just get into it really quickly. There was a previous night watch when we actually had people awake at night this time. Again, we didn't. That's what I think is so ironic about this because we didn't have people awake. We were all sound asleep. Radios were turned off. But on a previous night when we did have a night watch, this wasn't me that was awake, but there was a night watch that said that they heard something like walking around, kind of like keeping its distance from our patrol base. And it was murmuring things and kind of like a drowned out voice. And they never actually saw what it was, but they heard it kind of like pacing around. And they can never really make out what it was saying, but it kept murmuring things in this drowned out voice. And they said it did sound bipedal. So there was a lot of strange activity around that particular training area. I don't know if you have any questions from there before I move on to some other stuff I'd talk about. Starting a business can be overwhelming. You're juggling multiple roles, designer, marketer, logistics manager, all while bringing your vision to life. Shopify helps millions of business sell online. It's time to see what you can accomplish with Shopify by your side. I understand that you want to listen to your podcast, so I'll keep it short. Because if you think it's important to make a lot of choices, can AASR help? Now I hear you think, how then? Well, for example, when you're selling the products you love to be a bad person. Want to know more about the insurance where bad abuse is possible? Go to asr.nl slash duurzamekeuzes. This does ASR for you and a bad person. ASR does it. So, now you can listen to your podcast. Yeah, absolutely. And I've heard of Bigfoot reports around Fort Knox and Kentucky. and why do you think nobody woke up when this thing was whooping and doing the clicking sounds and it even approached the center of the platoon unit and um it did a loud whoop like how do you think nobody woke up do you think it had people like in a trance it was using infrasound what's your theory about that um my honest opinion is that it scared people and they don't want to admit it or entertain it there were other people that heard it but um the other thing was i wasn't really trying to be like high key about this like i wasn't trying to make it like a super big deal because I don't want to like look a certain way, I guess, while I was there. But I think people did hear it. They just don't really want to talk about it. And I don't know. I do consider myself like a little more like aware in the woods. But again, it was right in the center of the patrol base. It was loud. I guarantee people woke up. The other thing is that we were all like dead tired. I wouldn't be surprised if a wide majority of people just slept right through it. As weird as that might sound, but that's kind of my theory there. No, that makes sense. And I feel like that would be part of the training. Like if something comes into camp, like you guys have to like spring up and I don't know, take action. But no, I definitely understand you guys have been out there for many days and you guys were dead tired. and yeah i'm sure that was freaky i've heard other people mention the clicking sound and they refer to it like the predator yeah i actually never thought about it that way um it was a little more like not saying it was an ape but it sounded apy like a like a real lip smack i don't know if you've ever seen videos of gorillas making like kind of clicking noises sounded just like that yeah no i i haven't but when you mentioned it i was like whoa i gotta check that out i'm definitely gonna youtube gorillas doing that now i've heard them like do chess pops where they um hit their chest with their hands and it sounds like they're playing bongos i don't know if you've ever heard that i have i have heard that not specifically with the encounter but yeah it sounds like a woodpecker essentially yeah the other thing is like those whoops were so loud like ear piercing yeah i just thought that was kind of uh crazy how loud that was and what do you think the sasquatch was up to oh that's what i wanted to get into so i think that when we pushed through here Like I said, we were the second regiment. So these things had kind of been living back there for a better half of the year, you know, just hanging low, you know, maybe hunters during the winter or whatever. But I think that we pushed them out. And that brings me into what the whooping could be, is that it's like a location thing. Like it's calling out to see where they are. And it kept moving in a steady direction. So I'm thinking maybe it was a juvenile or whatever age it was, it got separated and it was trying to find its group during the night, not during the day, because it was safer for it to move at night. And then it's just it's trying to cover ground and whoop until something else hears it and then it can get reconnected to them. Oh, wow. It makes sense to me. Yeah, that's a very good theory. you guys possibly flushed out these creatures and they split off in different directions and it traveled through your guys's camp maybe being territorial and also trying to locate the rest of the clan by doing whoops and the mouth pops and yeah that brings new insight to the whoops possibly they're locating each other similar to turkeys or elk when they call out my exact thought yeah that's creepy either way i can't imagine how you felt like in the sleeping bag you probably felt like a bag of meat in there oh yeah that was scary yeah but he didn't like stomp you guys he didn't pick you guys up in the sleeping bag and swing you around hit you against a tree like he just went through there probably to show a little force and that he was upset with you guys and then moved on i'll be honest with you part of me thinks he didn't even know we were there just because he didn't break his pattern and he didn't do anything differently when he was in the center. But he very well could have known that we were there. Yeah, he beelined it towards you guys. It could be that you busted out the Jack Link's beef jerky and that's why he came in. Yeah. But who knows? Maybe he was looking for food though. Did you guys have like, did you guys cook up food before you guys went to bed or have anything out and about as far as in the camp yeah we always had uh mres that's what we ate uh in the field and uh we would normally get ransacked by raccoons at night which i've seen them you know spot uh shine a spotlight on you can see them darting in but this was obviously something uh way bigger than that yeah i've heard stories from fort leonardwood here in missouri that's probably about 50 minutes from me and um their stories were they're out there doing patrol and they run into these things and there's definitely sasquatch out there because the mark 20 national forest surrounds that area and they talk about trying to find missing people out there and when they'd get on the trail they'd find these huge tracks and just strange sign and it felt like something was paralleling them they'd hear sticks breaking and trees being pushed and I remember the soldiers saying they felt really small because whatever it was, there was nothing they could do because when you're out in the woods, every move you make, you make so much noise when you're out there. Even if you're trying so hard to be quiet, it's so hard to not step on a twig or a stick or leaves or anything. Whatever this thing was, was just doing circles around them. Yeah. There's always a lot of activity around military bases. I'm always on BFRO just every time I go out. I hunt a lot and I'll get into some other research I do too, but I'm always on there looking. I always hear Bigfoot activity around Fort Laranwood in Missouri, Fort Knox in Kentucky, and then the one in Georgia. I can't remember what that Army base is called, but I've heard a lot of reports from there as well. Yeah, definitely. Yeah, and you sent me some photos of some tracks, and um i don't know if the videos from fort knox but it looks like there's a military plane in the background do you have more experiences and things that you found in the woods okay yeah i'd love to hear about it so this one is actually what i consider to be an eye sighting but it was so split second that it it's hard for me to like say that but i'm i'm always looking out the window So like always looking for something. It's just always what I've done. And especially when I got into Bigfoot, I'm, I'm always have my eyes looking out. And there was a period of time where I was going out. This is actually last year, uh, maybe a little bit over a year. No, actually last year, right around this time. Um, I was going out to Colorado a lot. I had an ex that lived out there and we were hitting all of the local ski resorts and just going to a bunch of different ones. And this particular time we had went to Crested Butte Ski Resort, which is surrounded by Gunnison Valley National Forest. and there's right before you get into crested butte the ski resort there's a big stream um they're all these in the previous encounter was near water as well this one there's a stream and it's a salmon hatchery and you're not allowed to go there during the winter it's illegal to be in there um at the hatchery fishing in the area and um i just thought it was interesting i'm a big fisherman so i just each time we drive we were there for the weekend i'd like be looking down at the water and this is you know out in colorado vast woods and mountains and lots of area where there's just no people other than the roads you travel on and we were driving out of crested butte I'd say it's about 10 minutes outside and we're about to pass the trout hatchery and the trout hatchery is down the hill a little bit and there's probably about like two or three streams that like mix in between each other within the woods and then the river and I'm looking down there as we're driving and i see something clear as day standing in the water uh i'd say about up to its knees i saw full shoulders um i it's pretty far away but looked to be like conical shaped head i saw the head i don't know if it was necessarily conical shaped but i saw this thing all black jet black standing in the water you could see the arms down to its side just standing there and i'm like holy crap like there's something standing in the water down there and it was tall i'd maybe say you know seven eight feet i couldn't tell exactly kind of far away but it was tall and i'm like nobody's allowed to be down there the hatchery's closed it doesn't have a fishing pole it's just standing there and first thing i should think of is like holy crap i just saw something and it looks to be like it might be just standing there looking for salmon to be swimming by grabbing them and it is not far for it to jump into gunnison national forest um and so when this happened i wasn't driving i was in the passenger seat looking out the window and i was my ex was like do you want to turn around i was like yeah i kind of do and this is a busy road and there's a lot of traffic and we ended up turning around and trying to find exactly like where i saw this thing but there was absolutely no shoulder we're kind of on like a cliff side in a way and it just didn't make sense to pull over but what i saw looked like head shoulders tall figure looked like a bigfoot standing in the water wow that's truly incredible and it makes sense why the sasquatch would be in that area because no one else is allowed to be in there that time of year but also because of the food source it was probably looking for a salmon like you said yeah i don't really have anything else with that one but i just thought i'd mention it yeah definitely important to share and um i believe that's probably what it was like you said there there wouldn't be a fisherman in the creek especially that time of year when no one else is allowed to be in there yeah that was exactly my thought too and then if you want i can jump into uh what those pictures i sent you were all about yeah let's hear about the photos of the tracks that you sent me starting a business can be overwhelming. And we didn't really have a place to go there, but there was a, there was like a little like trail area near there that has like a hotspot for encounters. So we're like, you know what? We like Virginia. Let's go there. We ended up just picking this like random spot that we tried to pick a spot that was far away from like where other people normally went but still kind of had like a trail and we found this old logging road that was like all not upkept and it was right at a trailhead but we didn't go on the trailhead we took the old logging road we took it up we had never been in this area before and in the pictures you saw the plane you can see how thick that vegetation is in there it's extremely thick where that video was taken was actually in what i think was a feeding ground so before we even got in there we're walking and we're just like all right we can't really go anywhere else there's like there's almost like a wall of trees like you can't really get past it we're like dang like that's like a like a natural barrier that's up here like there's definitely, you know, you got to be cautious of bears and whatever else is hanging out in Virginia, but we were both carrying, we're just kind of walking this tree line. And I'm telling you, it's too thick to walk through. It's a natural barrier. Walking along, walking along. I'm like, it looks like it kind of opens up here and it kind of turns into some pine trees. And what we were walking up on was what I guess to be the entrance to this feeding ground. and as soon as we got close to what that entrance was you could hear four loud like like ground stomps it was like and it sounded like it was like running away and immediately me and my dad both heard it we didn't see anything we both like went to draw our pistols because it sounded like something was charging us but then it we realized it was kind of moving in the opposite direction and all we heard was doom doom doom but what's unique about that sound is that the area in blackstone virginia is um it's kind of like a sod it's like a spongy ground so it's not hard ground and for something to be able to make that loud of a like sound in that sod it has to be big um obviously could have been a bear but we were both like take off guard i pull out my phone immediately because we me and my dad this all planned out we're like all right one person something comes out grab the gun obviously for self-protection they don't want to shoot anything but uh and then the other person to pull out their phone and get footage because i that always irks me when people talk about stuff they don't try and pull out their phone and um we never ended up seeing anything but we we walk into this this patch um and a real like eerie feeling in the air especially after hearing that sound and this patch in there was just littered with blueberries natural blueberries and the pictures i sent you were of countless tracks we found in there just everywhere and you can see those prints are bare bare footprints the the one in particular you can just see the toes clear as day the the big toe um followed by the other four toes the whole shape of the foot and we were finding them everywhere we didn't have any plaster we actually went back to this location this year and weren't as lucky didn't find anything but we found a ton of tracks in there and um i thought that was just cool in itself you know you like you say a lot in your videos you can't go out and expect to find things every time so even if you're finding stuff like that it's just uh really cool and um like rewarding when we went back this year that's the other photo i sent you of those weird tree structures we went back to the same place because we're like all right we're gonna come back with plaster and um didn't end up finding like anything that this time except for those weird branches all leaned up against those trees and that was a different area somewhat close to there and it looked like that was like a little nesting ground i don't know what would be up in that area first of all because we're not on the trailhead we're on a different trail and then we got off the trail and just started walking into the woods just randomly and we came across that and i don't know you can tell me but that doesn't look like natural uh limbs falling those look purposefully stacked up against the trees and there's a lot of sticks stacked up there also surrounding that entire berry patch is tree breaks everywhere pointing down the hill away from the berry patch i thought that was kind of unique as we did a complete circle around it all the tree breaks were facing away so i don't know if that would be the way they were facing was actually down towards the water but i don't know if that's like reverse like they're actually pointing up towards the berry patch but they're all tree breaks like completely around it but um i think that's about all for that area that we did research there yeah that's amazing and usually the tree breaks are pointing towards water or the arches but that's not always the case sometimes it's pretty random and it's hard to gauge what was going on but maybe it signals like where the sasquatch traveled in that point of time and yeah if they were stomping off as as you guys approach the area it's possibly doing it it possibly did it on purpose so you guys would hear it because usually the sasquatch no matter how big they are they're super quiet they're dead silent and i feel like they do the ground stomps or they run away and make a boom sound boom boom boom boom or thump thump thump thump on purpose to kind of freak you guys out and um i don't know maybe it was trying to deter you guys from the area or warn other Sasquatch in the area to get out of there. But yeah, the tracks are awesome. How big would you estimate those tracks to be? We actually brought the tape measure with us and the tracks all measured to be around 10 to 11 inches, but they did vary in size, which makes me think that there was multiple there. Yeah. And with the structures, the activity, the tracks it sounds like what other researchers would call like a nursery area i mean it just sounds like they were living there at that point in time and you guys happened to walk inside the clan's territory right in the center of it we actually tried to push up uh we're on top of a hill and that uh ground that i was talking about that like sod stuff it's actually growing over top of water so we were on like the summit of this hill or mountain whatever you want to call it and we tried to push back in there like you know what we're gonna carry we're gonna go into the thick of this stuff and just try and see if we can find anything cool it got to the point where we just couldn't go any further we would sink like up to our knees like absolutely no one was going back there and whatever does live back there can move through some thick stuff and like you're saying nursery like it's safe up there for them yeah absolutely would you say the ground is kind of like i don't know if you've ever been to oregon or alaska like where it's kind of fluffy with all the moss was it like that yeah it was just like i've never been there but yeah it was spongy yeah for something to make a big sound like that i mean it could have been a bear but you guys found Sasquatch tracks and structures so I think you guys know what it was and you guys were in there specifically because of the Bigfoot reports is that correct that's what originally brought us there yes yeah I would say that's what it is and um I don't know it just sounds like they try to get out of the area yeah do you feel like they just beelined it and took off or do you think they just kept their distance and they were there the entire time like did you feel like you were being watched the when we went there the first time i don't think they went very far i think they were taken off guard um i don't think like obviously they realized we were there but i don't think they expected us to find like their entryway into this little berry patch and when we got close enough to that entrance that's when the stomp happened like it's um it's almost like too perfect like that's definitely what happened whatever whether it was a bigfoot or not we got into their area and um it was taken off guard and i think it did watch us from a distance because it felt eerie the whole time oh yeah for sure do you feel like you guys snuck in like snuck up on the Sasquatch? A hundred percent. Yes. And you were on the trail, correct? You weren't just walking through the woods. I mean, you were in the woods, but you weren't walking like on dead fall and all that. You were like on a trail being quiet, correct? No, uh, we were, we were, we weren't on a trail at all. Okay. We, we took an old logging trail up to a certain point and then we're like, let's just break off and head this way. But again, that ground is like, you can't hear anything coming because of how spongy it is yeah that makes sense so you were being quiet either way even though you were going through the forest yes okay no that makes sense and i usually stay on the trails because here in mizzeria everything's just like crunch crunch smash smash but you have to ground spongy then you were definitely able to sneak up on them we i forgot to mention this is the last thing i'll say about is when we went back we set up a bunch of trail cameras too and we uh stayed out there till like two in the morning uh made a little fire to try and uh get some activity but we weren't there long enough i don't think we put enough time on it but we at least gave it our best shot yeah absolutely i'm sure the memories at fort knox were kicking back in when you went there and stayed the night definitely starting a business can be overwhelming you're juggling multiple roles designer marketer logistics manager all while bringing your vision to life shopify helps millions of business sell online build fast with templates and ai descriptions and photos inventory and shipping sign up for your one euro per month trial and start selling today at Shopify.nl That's Shopify.nl It's time to see what you can accomplish with Shopify by your side. So, we can now listen to your podcast. kind of further back my grandfather been hunting his whole life and he is not afraid of anything he um he actually he goes out hunting for bear and he goes out hunting for deer and this was back around like 2006 and he was up in a new area that they hadn't been in before and He always likes to get in the woods super early, like a couple hours before the sun comes up. And he's sitting up against a tree. And he started to get this stench of like a foul, foul odor. And it just, I guess to him, he thought it was a bear. And he was sitting there and sitting there. And he heard something like near him kind of rustling around. And the whole time he's thinking bear. And then he heard a loud, like guttural growl, like actually not a growl, a roar. Like what from the videos I watch, the way he explained it to me, when I, when he explained me this story, I didn't say anything about Bigfoot. I just wanted to hear what happened. And he told me this and he, I said, was it more of a growl or is it like a roar? And he said, no, it was a roar. and he said when he heard that he has never been so scared in the woods his entire life not to mention he's out there sometimes hunting for bears so if he's hunting for bears why would he be afraid of a bear while he's out there um and he told me that i said so what did you do after this all after you heard the growl or the roar and the smell and the stinging area he said well he kind of was laughing while he said he's like when the sun came up i went right back to the truck i was done for the day i was like i was like so doesn't that kind of stand out to you you know you've been hunting your whole life why this time in particular did you not want to stay out there and hunt the rest of the day like you you've always say you want to see a bear in the woods he's like i don't know he's like but i got the feeling to get the hell out of there and i'm like yep i think you might have had an encounter with something a little bit different than a bear if you were feeling that way and then you know obviously the stench and the roar kind of lines up there yeah that's terrifying and it certainly does sound like bigfoot did you bring up bigfoot to your grandfather? I did bring it up to him afterwards, but he's kind of like man of few words. He didn't write it off, but he... He didn't deny it, but he also didn't acknowledge it. Exactly. Yeah. He's probably heard stories from other people throughout his life and maybe didn't believe until he had that experience for himself. Mm-hmm. yeah i just uh the more i learn about it i try to ask and see if my my uncle's big hunter too i asked me if he's had weird stuff happen but i'm always interested in hearing about that stuff oh yeah for sure and there's a lot of reports from pennsylvania so it makes sense and if you're hunting the game you might put yourself right in the middle of a sasquatch clan and Not every hunter experiences this, but a lot of fishermen and outdoorsmen run into these things. It does happen. Mm-hmm. You never know when it'll happen. Absolutely. What are your plans in the future? Do you plan on doing Bigfoot research or going back to any of those old areas that you've had experiences at? Yes. My dad and I haven't really figured out where we're going to go next, but I think we're gonna try in Pennsylvania just because it's closer. Um I actually went to school out towards um Pittsburgh which is like a huge hotspot We thinking about going out that way which i did a lot of army training out that way and felt some eerie feelings in the woods there but we're thinking either there or the middle central pa kind of on the appalachian yeah that sounds like an excellent area maybe you can look at the bigfoot mapping project and kind of get an idea. I doubt it has all the reports on there that's ever taken place, but I feel like it's got less than 1% of all the experiences that people have had because most people, they don't want to talk about it. People take it to their grave and people don't want to report it to the public. So I'm sure what we see on those maps, whether it's the BFRO or maps that people have created, it's just a very, very small portion of the experiences that have happened oh yeah definitely yeah because i know a lot of locals around here where i live and i hear stories all the time they've never told to be a farro or went on a podcast especially old timers like they just don't do that and a lot of people say we don't talk about that or you don't want to share that because of the ridicule and i don't know i feel like most reports go untold yeah there's definitely a big stigmatism around it and that's what makes it so difficult to talk about it and why is it that there's such a big stigmatism everybody wants to talk about aliens and all this other stuff but for some reason bigfoot is for some people you seem so crazy oh i know i feel like the alien subject is more accepted than the sasquatch subject and i don't know if you watch ancient aliens it seems like it's more serious and they have high up people talking on the show but then you watch shows like finding bigfoot and it it almost seems like bigfoot's a joke but to me i don't know i find bigfoot more fascinating and like i actually have a chance of finding evidence compared to aliens i i i've heard countless people say this on your show but um i really just think people live in this little fantasy land and they think that life is just uh particularly my area going to wawa and you know you go out in the woods and you're you're at like a park or at um at an extreme you're going like up to the pocono mountains but people don't really realize how much of the woods we don't go in and how much thick woods there is that things that are hiding and like how much is unexplored and I just think people are very naive to that. Oh yeah, for sure. I mean, you nailed it on the head. People are certainly living in a fantasy land and it's just the reality that has been built for people to survive, whether it's having electricity, paying insurance, having an 8-to-5 job. And once all that collapses, if the power grid goes out, you're going to be out there with the sasquatches and nature doesn't mess around and you'll be at the mercy of it and i agree do you feel like the military possibly trained you to i don't know look for these creatures essentially because you guys are out there looking for hominids you're hunting down hominids so i feel like you'd have a better chance than any other researcher since you were in the military and you've learned things that most people don't know yeah um i wasn't in infantry particularly um that's just kind of like what they based the training around for what i was doing but uh i do think it it teaches you some aspects not i haven't learned particularly i would say i I learned more about looking for anything in the woods from hunting. I grew up hunting as soon as I could at a very young age. So I've kind of gotten attuned to being in the woods and how to stay quiet, how to keep your scent under control, and just always having a good eye around and picking up on noises and yeah paying attention to detail exactly yeah a lot of that's something a lot of people don't have oh yeah for sure a lot of people wouldn't realize there's a sasquatch standing right next to him even if it smacked him on the back of the head and yeah that's just how it is a lot of the researchers that i know were in the military and one of my friends he was in the marine in the marines he loves looking for bigfoot it's a passion of his and he said i was in the military for so long we would go out there hunting iranians and he said after i got out of the military it's like what next so he started looking for bigfoot he's like this is kind of the same thing there's hominids roaming around the forest and you have to hunt them down and i don't know i kind of gave him something to do because he was so used to hunting down hominids humans and after the military You come back to the States and back to normal life and it's like, what now? I've had so many opportunities where I could have put down a big buck and it just didn't work. Whether I missed or it caught the wind to me and turned around, I just wanted to say, don't give up hope yet and just keep trying at it and you'll get the one that counts. Oh, I appreciate that, man. Yeah, that means a lot. I've missed a lot of big bucks, honestly. Most of the huge bucks that I've seen, like you said, they've either winded me or I'm walking to my stand and they were right there and they took off running or I don't know, like I just completely miss and don't find any hair, any blood, nothing. And it just makes, it just leaves you scratching your head for sure. And yeah, I'm definitely not giving up and I'm just going to try better and try to prepare, I guess, mentally and physically. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely don't give up. you'll get your good opportunity hanging on the wall oh yeah for sure and um i just like being out there and i just don't get a thrill going after does or young bucks i know a lot of people say it's about the meat but for me it's like that's a little bitty deer like he still has a lot of years to live like there's no point in taking it out or that doe might put out a huge monster one day and that's the way i think i'm not going out there just for horns or putting something on the wall but at the same time it's like don't shoot the little ones like definitely go out mature ones yeah but it's also harder i like the challenge yeah because those those mature bucks they're not easy and that's the same way i looked at it's like i've had little bucks walk up um not like saying i'm passing up on like a six pointer but um i i look at it the same way you do oh yeah for sure i mean if it's the last day the last evening and i see a doe or a young buck i'm definitely gonna blast it but as far as um the entire bow hunt and the rifle season i'm i'm going after something big and i feel like if i can get on the huge deer like i can definitely figure out more about the sasquatch because i've learned through my years of research and like whitetail research like the Sasquatch like to be where the big mature bucks are at, which is away from all the does, all the young bucks, all the human pressure areas that nobody ever goes to where the food and water's at. And they definitely follow the waterways. That's smart. Never thought about it that way. That does make sense. Yeah. Cause the big mature bucks, they want to live in isolation and yeah, they like, they have like the bachelor groups, but they don't want to be around all the does because they're constantly blowing and freaking out over every squirrel that drops an acorn and they don't like to be spooked constantly that makes sense yeah that's why you see them like during the rut because they're coming out of those deep areas or not even deep areas just weird little nooks and crannies that nobody ever goes through and then they're coming out looking for those does doing what they would normally never do and it makes sense that's when us men get in trouble when we're following um when that's exactly what i was thinking when you were saying that i was thinking they don't want to be around the women yeah yeah for sure maybe the same is true for the sasquatch when they're looking for food or a female like they just get caught out in the open yeah yeah and uh we don't really know like when their mating uh season really is or i mean maybe there's ideas but well i feel like some of those roadside crossings like where someone just sees a sasquatch cross the road right in front of their vehicle like it was probably following a female because most of the time like that sasquatch has probably never been seen once in its entire life and for some reason it gave away its position and didn't care and that's kind of how those bigger bucks are it's like man it just walked right in front of my vehicle it didn't even run like it just walked like it was following some does or something and it didn't care yeah and you have to draw correlations like that because you know um we only can use what we know what we have and that's what we know and when you start to put it together it starts to make sense oh yeah absolutely until you experience the supernatural with the Sasquatch then it doesn't make sense anymore yeah then there's that aspect yeah what do you think about that I know you didn't mention any of that in your experiences but do you think they have supernatural abilities or do you think they're just purely physical creatures that haven't been discovered I'm really on the fence about that one but um you I feel like you can't negate that there's some part of it that I, I don't know if I want to use the word supernatural, but something we can't explain. Like there's some, there's some aspect of Sasquatch that is different than the rest of the animals that are in the woods. It has some ability and I don't know what that is, but I think whatever that ability is that makes it different. maybe you want to use the word supernatural or yeah that's a good word supernatural because it's unnatural to us but whatever that is i think is why it's not being talked about and that's why the government which i think is fully involved in covering that up whatever that is um they don't want us to know but i do think in its physical form it is somewhat of a mixture of what an ape would be some characteristics of a human but i don't think it's either or it's its own thing um i don't know if i exactly have a word for it but i i just think it has qualities of both but it's its own thing yeah you're the first person that's ever given the theory that's pretty much identical to my theory like it's definitely primate like it's definitely like a person and they're physical creatures like they leave droppings they leave sign and they mate and have little ones but also there's something supernatural or otherworldly i don't know what you'd call it just maybe there's just no classification for it but something that is causing the government to keep this secrecy under wraps so nobody figures out what what's truly going on and i feel like that's true as well and i mean just because we can't see gravity doesn't make it supernatural i don't know but it's definitely difficult to understand or grasp and it's the same way with black holes and white holes and i feel like whatever the sasquatch the aliens the other cryptids paranormal activity is doing it revolves around that and people mention like portals other dimensions and that could be true there's got to be a reason why people don't just find bones the tracks disappear these things just yep i don't know seem to have abilities that like you said regular animals in the animal kingdom do not have but i definitely enjoyed your experiences when you were talking about the fort knox encounter i felt like i was right there with you you did such an excellent job at describing that encounter i I felt like I was right there with you in a sleeping bag and this thing snuck up on us and you're the only one awake. And I was probably the one snoring and didn't wake up. Well, thank you. I appreciate that. And I think that's why I've stuck with your channels because I just see this the same way you do. And I'm definitely going to shoot you some questions here and there that I think we both get a good thought provoking provocation out of. But yeah, thank you for having me on. I'm really happy that I finally got to get this encounter out there. It feels like a weight off my shoulders because I've wanted to do this for so long, but it just it was finally right to do it now. absolutely and i'm glad that it was therapeutic for you and a lot of people report feeling a lot better after they share their encounter like they're not carrying that weight because when you have an experience like this it's just like oh you don't want to tell that person you don't tell that person they'll think you're crazy or maybe you meet a partner it's like should i tell her and you you carry that with you forever and when you get to talk with somebody who has seen these things who understands it's like you handed that weight off your shoulders and you feel better because you spoke with somebody who understands. And yeah, I'll share those photos that you sent over to me on the podcast. I'll also put them like on Facebook, Instagram, the community post on YouTube so people can see them and I'll tag the podcast along with it. Awesome, that sounds great. Yeah, absolutely.
