I think we would not be at each other's throats like we are. And I just think there would be more commonality between all 330 million Americans. As we sit here on tax day, and I know it's like, oh gosh, I gotta do this, or you gotta file that extension today, whatever it might be, the tax code is something that nobody really understands. We had calls this morning from people who were like, yeah, I can't believe I owed this much money. I don't know how it's possible. Imagine if we just had a flat tax system, and everybody pitched in their pick a number. I don't know what it is, eight, nine, 10%. And you went on your merry way, and that was it. Whether you make 25 grand, 250 grand, or $2.5 million, you pay your 10%, no loopholes, no favoritism, no lobbyists, none of that. Everyone just pays their 10%. And then you move on. Ted Cruz pitched this like a decade ago. But instead we have a system that pits us against each other. You have the top 1% paying 40% of the federal income tax bill. You have the bottom 50% paying 3% of the income tax bill. That creates a scenario where people are at each other's throats. It creates an environment of haves and have-nots, and people don't feel like they're all in it together. Whereas if we all just cut our 10% check and went on, we'd all have skin in the game. But right now, you've got, let's be honest, 50% at least that don't have any skin in the game. And then they also want more. They wanna roll out the victim card, and they wanna point to, in some cases, the 1%, be like, hey, you're not paying enough. Well, how much is enough when your foot in almost half the bill as is, John? Almost as if it were intentional, isn't it? Yes, exactly right. And then equity is a great thing when you talk about the journey. But once you get there and arrive at it, suddenly that's not right either. They love equity on the output side. They don't want equity on the input side. Yeah, too shaggy. What's next? What if Diana Rossini had not resigned from the athletic yesterday? I would have had a lot more respect for her. Diana Rossini, who was alleged to, of course, be involved with Patriots head coach Mike Frable. You talk about victim mentality. Oh my goodness. These photos are her at Sedona, Arizona, hanging out with the Patriots head coach. They're hand in hand, hugging each other on the rooftop in Sedona, Arizona. And she's like, hey, it was a girl's trip. We were just there as friends. It's all good. It's like a Coldplay concert broke out. I was shut down, right? The memes have been great around that. She puts out this letter yesterday resigning from the athletic. And she says here, in part, in this letter, in the days that followed after the athletic supported her, commentators and various media have engaged in self-feeding speculation that is simply unmoored from the facts, she writes here more over the media frenzies hurtling forward without regard for the review process the athletic is trying to complete. It continues to escalate. And I have no interest in submitting to a public inquiry that has already caused far more damage than I am willing to accept. Me, me, me, me, me. It's all about me. I'm the victim here. No, you're not. Your kids are the victim here. Your husband potentially is a victim here. Are you? So by resigning yesterday, the athletic investigation ends. Boy, isn't that convenient? Is it possible she knew where the investigation was going to go by her employer? She didn't want more to get out. So she just quit. I mean, that's what it looks to me like happened here. And it's pretty clear as day when it comes to Diana Rossini putting in this letter yesterday that she is trying to claim that this is all about her getting screwed. But I would make the case that what really was gonna happen here is a lot more was gonna get out. She did not want it out. And this is the only way to potentially one day salvage her career. That's it. All right. What if Joy Behar had actually read the Bible? Well, then she wouldn't be saying... Without bursting into flames. Yeah. Then she would not have been saying stuff like this on the view yesterday when talking about Trump and the Jesus meme and everything else. You know, Jesus himself did not run around saying, I'm the Messiah. I'm the Messiah. Jesus kind of did say... You're supposed to have a little bit of... That's exactly what Jesus said. I am the Messiah. You know what? No, he did not. Jesus was the most proud of the things. The Pope's got a gun. He's got a gun. She just said, I knew Jesus. Jesus was not narcissistic like this guy. And we are the Messiah. It's not narcissism. Just say it. Yes, it is. When you are the Messiah. I'm gonna move this along because this is like, it's too much for me. When even your co-hosts on the view are laughing at you, as they were Joy Behar there, you know you've lost it. Yes, if he is the Messiah and he proved it, then it's not narcissism. It's truth. It's simple truth. That's what it is, Joy Behar. Okay? And I'm not a biblical expert here. I do my best to read it as often as I can. It's right there on the night side table. But whether it's, you know, Book of Mark, John, you can find it. Many examples of Jesus saying, no, I am the Messiah. That's not narcissism. That's speaking the truth. Fortunately, whoopie shut the conversation down before Don Lemon showed up to protest, right? Oh boy, just remember, next time you feel dumb, remember there are people who watch the view every single day. And with that, coming up here in the nine o'clock hour, what if Wednesday is in the books? The countdown is on for the 2026 NFL Draft, presented by Bud Lighting.
