Summary

Host Kara Berry delivers an extensive recap and analysis of Summer House Season 10, focusing heavily on the scandal involving cast members West and Amanda's affair, its impact on Amanda's marriage to Kyle, and the broader relationship dynamics within the house. The episode includes detailed timeline reconstruction of the affair, character analysis of the involved parties, and discussion of other cast storylines including Lindsay's housewarming party and various relationship tensions.

Insights
  • Public infidelity scandals create asymmetric reputational damage: Amanda faces cyberbullying while West gains 50,000 followers, suggesting social media rewards male transgressors differently than female ones
  • Relationship dysfunction often masks deeper insecurities: West exploits Amanda's need for validation while Amanda seeks escape from Kyle's emotional unavailability, creating a mutually reinforcing toxic dynamic
  • Financial stress amplifies relationship conflict: Kyle's $175,000 monthly losses on Loverboy and $2.1M personal liability directly correlate with his emotional volatility toward Amanda
  • Strategic silence and selective editing shape narrative control: Jesse's absence from key confrontation scenes suggests deliberate editorial choices that protect certain cast members from accountability
  • Infidelity within friend groups destroys broader social ecosystems: The affair isolates both parties from their support network, leaving them dependent only on enablers who validate destructive behavior

We're currently sponsored by SpecsAvers, the seeing and hearing experts. Eyes and ears. That's right Fee, SpecsAvers might be the nation's favourite optician. But did you know they also care a lot about your hearing and they have done for over 20 years? Well I'm not being funny Jane, but maybe they should change their name then. What about Specs and Hearing Savers? Yeah. SpecsAvers? Look I see what you're doing, but I think we'll all stick to SpecsAvers. Oh, okay. It is undeniable though that the world is getting noisier and our ears are having to work even harder to hear what's important above the din of daily life. So put your ears in good hands with SpecsAvers. Book a free hearing check today. I wanted just to get you a little something for the housewarming. Oh, okay. So I got you a little something. Thank you. That's for you. Is it non-alcoholic? It's actually regular. Thank you. And then I never got anything for Gemma. That is so sweet. So got her a little something from a kid's store in Brooklyn. She can be a little hipster. Exactly, I think the book will be really cool because she was born in New York and the whole thing. Yeah. Hello everyone. Welcome back to another episode here at Everyone's Business. But mine with me, Cara Berry, Batula Hoops assemble. We're standing. I fear April fucking fools. Let's get into these two idiots before we get into the recap of the latest episode of Summer House. Shall we? Breaking news. The keeps on breaking. Here's what I have deduced in my mind based on observations, tea that I've been given, tea that has already been spilled. What I think has really, I think I got a timeline as much as I can get one with regard to this whole relationship between West and Amanda, whatever. That is, I feel, had I known that the video that I saw of West recording Amanda in the club doing the Macarena with her belly exposed for like a while. We did like a whole rotation of Macarena, a whole do-see-doh. I would have gone on this microphone yesterday and said, oh, this shit started like early 2025, possibly into late 2024. I didn't realize that the video was from April of 2025. I thought this was from April of this year. And why would I think that girl? Because we're just only at April now. I'm realizing in real time that that should have clicked for me a long time ago, like as soon as I saw that video. Knowing that, knowing, here's where I think I'm fucked up, is that I only started peeping Amanda and West hanging out for real for real, like January-ish. Liz Bentley and I were talking about this of this year. I wasn't really clocking them hanging out like that a year ago. And I wasn't really clocking when Kyle saying, I have not been in the house, or he didn't say I've been in the house. He told West, last week you've been hanging out with Amanda more than me this year. I wasn't thinking like, oh, huh. I mean, of course, I didn't know that there was something to be digging into there, but now I'm digging into everything. And now I'm like, oh, y'all were fucking, you were fucking well before you got into this summer house this season, season 10. That's very clear. The receipts are receding. We're seeing y'all sitting entirely too close to each other all the time, lingering touches, hands on the back, hands down the back, hands across the back, hands across America, apparently. So I say all that to say, I, nasty work. This is nasty work on the part of you two, little doublement twins. I, I, God, like, I really want to put this relationship at the beginning of 2020 and rather of 2024. But I'm not sure. Early 2025 for me, it's got to be. Here's, like, if y'all haven't seen the video, I'll try to post it on everyone's business, but mine on the Instagram or at least the stories. Somebody brought up an excellent point of these are not the type of videos, posts, etc. That you're posting of your home girl and putting it on the grid for everybody to see. If you're posting a video of this woman doing the Macarena for like a minute and a half, which in Macarena time is quite a while, and she's looking beautiful and like carefree and wild, like, you know, we're looking at this through the lens of an eye of love. Not like, oh, haha, this is my friend. Because like, let's really think about it, girls. Are your homeboys posting you on main looking beautiful and gorgeous for no reason anywhere in your carousel outside of like a group shot? No, single photos. Not really. Not likely. And it doesn't really seem like Wes does that a ton with the girls that he's actually friends with. Who knows if we're actually fucking, but like, you can see the difference, like, what's seen through the eyes of a homeboy and what's seen through the eyes of a lover. I fail this to say. I think the timeline is going to shift back further and further. The more we get through this new cycle. However, I think as of now, we can really just go with like, what's happened this year. Now, here's what I'm thinking happened based on all the information that I've gathered. Who's to say how long they had been hooking up, but I'm told that things got like a little bit more serious in like January of this year. More serious in the sense of like, we're being a little bit like more open with what's going on and sloppier. You know, that takes us to the Super Bowl early February. Everybody saw Sierra and Wes hanging out together at the Super Bowl. We're like, oh my God, are they a thing? Are they not? We're right in the timeline of the like kind of a will they won't they storyline on the show, right? Right in parallel, right in tandem. And so they're like, okay, well, maybe there's something to this now, according to the, you know, the streets. There there's still some validity possibly to that that maybe there was something actively going on between Wes and Sierra during the time, which makes this whole story worse to worse there. There's possibly probably likely was a kind of maybe we're hooking up casually having fun with each other vibe between Wes and Sierra, even as of like two weeks ago. So Super Bowl happens as it's already been come out chicken fry and the Portnoy man said, I got this tea at the Super Bowl. So what what catch up you guys is old news days later on at least threads. As far as I know, I'm not really on any other social media. Sierra post something about chicks moving weird girls that move weird make my fucking skin crawl. And I quote five days after the Super Bowl. Now, I can't imagine that when you're in that influencer bubble of people and I'm looking at all those content creators that were willy nilly giggling it up with a West and Amanda spent in late nights with them. Y'all move weird. Y'all move weird too. I think that this was probably around the time where Sierra started also hearing that there was something going on between them. From here, I would imagine Sierra then attempts to talk to her once home girl former home girl about this. There's a denial. And then there's a separation. They stop speaking to each other and things are like a little bit weird. There was rumors about the person spotting West and Amanda in an apartment that then got back to Sierra. I've also heard this to be true. And from there, I think at the same time these two are trying to deny, deny, deny. They're actively playing in everybody's faces. If you look at Amanda's social media and the song she's got attached on her Instagram from around this time, it's that somber song about how can we go back to being friends when we just shared a bed. There's quotes from WW. There's very obviously now 2020 hindsight shit. Y'all were fucking for real. Now, the streets are also saying that there was a hard launch with West's family two weeks ago. And I'm just like, my God, did y'all watch SantaVol? And we're like, you know what? Two, three, four, because everything is like lining up as the same type of shit. We have a girl who was young and got into this relationship with a dude who did not treat her well, spoke to her very poorly, and they were in a really unhealthy dynamic. Here comes this like, oh my God, cool guy. And he's all fun. And he's so like, he's like a kind of like a kind of two gender kind of mind. Like he's sensitive. He gets it. Oh my gosh, he's listening to me. He looks at me in the eyes and we're having these wild nights and all of a sudden like, oh, I wasn't really this girl. But all of a sudden like, I'm hanging with the crew and I'm so fun now. We've never really seen you behave like this. Totally different vibe. We're like, okay, that seems like cool. Turns out it fucking wasn't. They obviously, these two little chuggle heads, then get it into their brain that this thing is deeply special. When in reality, they've just found ways to feed each other's egos by latching on to each other's insecurities. West, knowing that this girl is deeply insecure, knowing that this girl thinks that Kyle's the best that she can ever do. And it's like, oh, I have seen the way that Amanda will continually show up for a man who doesn't really give her much. And I don't really want to give much. So that's fun. I can kind of be the knight in shining armor as well as I know that like, I can ultimately do whatever the fuck I want, which apparently is what he's been doing with like a whole bunch of chicks all over the country. As for Amanda, she knows that he is going to give her what she needs, which is a guy who's like, goo goo Gaga. Oh my God, you're so cool. I'm going to listen to you at two, three, four in the morning and I'm going to show you this world that you haven't really seen with the old one. And like everything's going to be so shiny and new. She gets to be the cool girl. She gets to be the hot girl. She gets to be the wanted girl. All things that we were all about to Arsenio Hall whoo, whoo, whoo for you, girl. You could have literally done it with anyone else. And I'm actually concerned for you at this point because to quote Lauren Hill, it could all have been so simple, but you rather make it hard. Like the fact that you would blow up your life and I will use that phrase despite the fact that, yeah, ultimately Weston and Amanda are going to be fine. They'll be fine. But for you to like, you really could have just coasted through for the rest of your life on like mid goodwill of people. Just like getting out of the relationship with Kyle. And then you truly chose to do the most self destructive thing in terms of your career, your reputation, your your career like outside of the show, your career on the show. Who's going to want to be friends with you? And like my question or my comment to you both is like, you realize that I want you guys to realize that everybody who has been co-signing this and everybody who's currently co-signing this in your world and in your circle. And every comment that you get that is like you two are single. It was just a fling between Weston Sierra. It's not that deep. Why can't people grow up? Some point in like the back of your mind, you're going to know that all of those people are bullshit. And those are the only people who are like, like you're stuck with those people. You know what I mean? Like you're stuck with flops who think that bad behavior is perfectly acceptable. And you're going to have no choice but to triple down and like go with that and victimize yourself because these are the people that you're stuck with. You could have sat at the cool table. And now you're with a bunch of losers. Losers who like they're not even getting fun cloud off of you now. West, I know you don't want you did not want to go on the House of Illens track. I know that this was not what you wanted for yourself and yet that's what else you're going to do, baby. You could have got on traders at any point. Sierra did. Girl. And like Amanda, a lot of women find success in the content creator world influencer world as women because girls want to feel like being friends with you is something attainable. Like you have to like you're going to miss out on so many comments or so many opportunities simply because brands don't want their comments section blown up with people being like, Ew, why would you work with her? Like it's just not going to be worth it, which is why Edie Parker took down their thing with you within two hours of your announcement because they didn't want to deal with it. No, thank you. So yeah, to go back to the scan of all of it all, it just seems very much like they're had a network of people who were like, This is so cool. Let's all wear hoodies and get high together and like giggle and prop up this bullshit relationship, not relationship. And then it does seem very much like the cast were kept in the dark. It's been reported that I was correct. Kyle really didn't find out until Sunday. He was asking them over and over and over both of them. Are you guys doing anything? Both of them over and over and over denied it. And then finally we're like, Okay, so just kidding. And that the excuse that they gave everybody really wasn't any different or any better than the one that we saw. So yeah, all of this is just very spooky and scary to me. The fact like the ways in which you consciously and subconsciously sought validation from this man, Amanda's like truly nasty work. The fact that it's been reported that West was also actively hooking up with Sierra was double nasty work. It's now being said that there was another girl, the girl that he referred to as Montana girl, Montana girl from like two seasons ago. She's still in the mix, even has of last week also didn't know anything about this. Allegedly, he was trying to lock things down with her and did like back in fall or winter of last week. Last year and was like, we're going to be exclusive. So she had no idea about Amanda until like we did really. And I think there's like maybe one or two other girls in the mix of this as well. So again, girl, you validated a situation ship. We're figuring it out. Shinship with somebody. Okay. Okay, girl. And, you know, I wish I could tag the content creator because you really like had me sitting and spiraling at the very dark realization that he was so. Oh, duh. It's literally right on Sierra's repost. You can see it reality with Ali. But I think there was another content creator who said it as well. Like your West the racism that comes with you knowing Sierra's boundaries. She was very clear with regard to giving her body away sexually that she needed to be in a serious relationship. You did enough to get what you wanted from her physically. And then we're like, no, thank you. You basically then go to the media to tell everybody all of us multiple times how much you don't actually want this woman and how she wanted more than what you wanted. You couldn't do it. Well, let me take a little picture and make sure I do my little pout, my little mouth pout. So you can see that I have lips even though I really don't. And then you're scared of her for now to some or so I'm going to say pretty confidently you cannot speak to her. You cannot communicate to her. You don't know how all of these excuses we have not seen any evidence of her. I mean, she said herself this season. I am going to be lighter on him and I'm hoping that we can have like a more fun conversation relationship in the house. I don't want it to be weird. And all of this and then you try to like drum up another romance and the fact that we're going to have to watch this continue. The season is crazy. And all of that for you to publicly claim to everybody we, we, we all the way home to a girl who's is she even legally separated? So put your ears in good hands with SpecsAvers. Book a free hearing check today. Because she's certainly not divorced. You were willing to claim her to the whole world and blow up your whole life. And you can't even, like, really acknowledge how tight your relationship with Sierra was that we didn't see because you were very careful to do it in the off season. And then your DMs started blowing up and you were like, see ya. Fortunately for Wes, I can't imagine that these other women are really all that much of a mystery to Amanda. I genuinely feel like the bitch don't care, which, like, again, this would be good on ya if it wasn't Wes, if it was literally any other dude, even Jesse. So I guess I'll wrap this up to say congratulations on whatever the hell this is. Hope you can at least define it to yourself privately and to your closest friends. I hope it's worth it. Does not really feel in that way. The fact that you have now given people several weeks now to have access to any of the members of the cast of the show, not you guys, because I really truly have a feeling they're about to get on that stage and keep doing this. I don't think any of their excuses are going to get any better. Not that anything that they could say at this point is going to make it better for me, but I don't even think it's going to even sound good. I still think it's going to be on some bullshit. But the fact that y'all gave people weeks to then access the other cast members of the show to read y'all down. Can't wait. Let's just, I mean, can we do a GoFundMe to just shore up the money for an extra part? I hate to say it, but I just feel like I can't hear Andy Cohen saying, let's move on with regard to this topic. Like, I'm going to lose my mind. So, I mean, we want to shave anything off from Bailey's storyline about her flirtation. I won't even talk about you, mates, misses anymore when it comes to Ben and Bailey. We can circle back to Weston. Amanda, honestly, there's really nothing I want to talk about. Like, what else happened? Like, y'all know I love this show, but I really can't think of anything that like we need to sit down at the reunion. Like, had this not happened, what I would have been like, what do I most want to hear about at the reunion? I don't know. Because ultimately the Kyle and Amanda stuff, I mean, in my mind, regardless, they should have broken up anyway, and they would have just gone and been like, you know, we love and support each other and we wish each other the best. Kyle would have cried, but like, it's not like they were going to reconcile. Like, we would have just kept it pushing. So ultimately, how compelling would it really have been? Anyway, I'll probably, I'm just going to issue a disclaimer right now. They're probably going to be some extraneous thoughts are going to come to my brain during the recap. So just know that I probably will start screaming randomly and just know that something, something fired in my brain and I got to bring it up. So anyway, we're still the old people. Happy birthday, Kyle birthday party. KJ's jumping the pool. Everybody's having a good time. We're twerking with the large saggy appendages that we strapped to our bodies. Sierra's titties. Amanda's little dump ass, etc. Wes is doing the splits. Isn't he cute? Once again, that's his big old dance move. Loser. So Kyle and Carl go sit down like two men that are staring at their future and Kyle's, you know, I'm so stressed out. I feel like my head's going to pop off my body like the last eight months. I've been preoccupied just trying to keep it all together. And Carl's like, yeah, me too. He does say, Hey, I, it's come to my attention that you have had some conversations with people about my feelings about you not, you know, ponying up some money in the name of soft bar. But I just want to let you know. I understand you've given me so many opportunities over the years. Having you involved is actually like super important to me. Like I want to have that sort of low key validation by having you like physically, literally invest in me. Kyle's like, totally. I get it. I don't blame you. You bet on me and I want to bet on you. But my wallets way too deep into lover boy. Well, Carl's like, I didn't realize it was that deep. Like what are we thinking? Are you guys going to go bankrupt? You got nine months, 12 months. Kyle's like, yeah, we're bleeding a lot of money last month. We lost $175,000. No, we don't have six months. I'm thinking maybe three at our current rate. Carl tells them, I know it's been a roller coaster, but I didn't realize it was this bad. And Kyle's like, yeah, it's been the most stressful thing. I don't think Manda understands the situation. And then Carl's like, well, about that, you know, if everything were to go away and you lost lover boy, you'd still have each other. Right? Kyle's like, I don't know. There's a, I couldn't say fun. I was really about to lie to y'all and say that it was fun. Little storyline between Jesse and Lindsay. Lindsay had spoken to Jesse about how she wanted to be hooked up with a 45 plus year old man, deep in the pockets, nice watch, going to take me to Vegas. I'm looking for a sugar daddy. And that's it. She lets us know. I love love. The last two relationships, I was like full on. Now I'm thinking, oh yeah, Carl and Stravy completely forgot about Turner. My bad girl. Like, there's somebody after Carl. I'm right. Your baby daddy. Uh-huh. But anyway, she's at a point where she's like, you know what, fuck love, I just want to be comfortable. So they're looking around the crowd, trying to find some guy. They find the nerdiest man they can, some like Gucci loafers. And Lindsay's like, what's your thing? You rich? You go to Vegas? You got money? I like your watch. He's like, thank you. Thank you. Jesse then goes, who invited you by the way? Mr. And he goes, oh Carl. Lindsay goes, well, you should have led with that sweetheart. I could have been more fun. I had it up in Jesse. Lindsay was doing a lot of the heavy lifting as she usually does elsewhere in the party. KJ, Darra and Wester talking and KJ is like, oh, West, I can't believe you did the splits. And Darra says, oh, I think one day you're going to do the splits and stay down. I do too, Darra. But then West asked Darra how she's doing. You having fun? She's like, yeah, I'm having a great time. The only people I have issues with are people aren't here. So we're going to address it when we are. Now Darra says in a confessional, her first priority, make sure KJ is okay. Make sure he doesn't know she's trying to be shady, trying to do anything behind his back. Second, we're going to have a talk with Bailey once we're back in the city. Speaking of Carl's texting away. Bailey, I miss you. I don't know. I hate to say it. No, I don't. But I got similar vibes to the news potentially that Bailey and Carl are together as I did with Lindsey and Carl. So that's too bad because as we all know, I ended up being very right about that. Anyway, he is texting Bailey like, I miss you, but he says in a confessional to us, you know, I feel a little bit weird. I don't think I really got it. He's just sort of bitching. Kind of woe is me. And it's just a thing that I'm noticing that he does to control the conversation. So I'm looking back at the conversation like you're kind of right because why in the middle of your birthday party? Are you starting a conversation like, oh, my head's about to pop off. Why are you having fun? It seems like you knew this was going to be a serious conversation. So to Carl's point, you try to control and get ahead of it by talking about how stressed you are. I think in the preview, either the midseason trailer or the preview for next week, Carl kind of gets into this. Like, you know, he's been doing this to Amanda and I feel like he's doing it to me now. Like using his issues as an excuse to get out of being a good friend and partner to me. You know what? We can get a mid episode. Can I get a hell yeah for the beard is back, baby. Carl was in those confessionals looking real good. Amen. I like that. Anyway, Bailey is back in the city. She calls her mom. Shout out to the girl who was behind recording as she walked by on her iPhone. Honestly, I'm so sorry, Bailey. Like I don't care. I don't care. Like even not under these unprecedented times, girl, like I feel like we've gone through. I don't know how to flirt. Well, I'm learning how to flirt. Everybody's encouraging me how to flirt and I get it. It really does seem like you went came out of a tough relationship and I can also understand that you are like, oh my gosh, is Carl the nice guy. I'm not used to nice. Like this is crazy. I'm always bracing for impact, but like every week, every week, it's either that or your log in hours, seeing what bends up to. I'm tired of both. And then we go back to the party. Jesse invites a girl to the house like every fucking time. He says in a confessional Jesse Solomon, who we met as a man who worked in finance, quit his job and has been terrorizing us with his diet. Michael Buble asks for years now. Had the nerve to say in a confessional about Maggie. I was trying to date a different girl. I dated these like bubbly corporate girlies, but you know, like we have these great conversations. So I'm trying not to judge too quickly. What are you judging? What are you judging? How nice of you. You did the same shit to Lexi. Like your model. Have you ever heard of college? Have you been to one? He's always like, I know that really in our minds, we're supposed to think like I'm the prize. I'm always supposed to be thinking about like, what am I getting? What do I need? I have a relationship, but like it gets to a point, Jesse. It really gets to a point, babe. And then here he is taking her up to the bathroom, his on suite bathroom. And like, girl, thank God. Thank God for divine timing because I would have been done a whole 10 minutes set about how you were stumbling up to the summer house, ask Jesse if you could pee with the door open and wouldn't get caught by the camera. And then you invited him in and became the go piss girl of the summer house. But fortunately somebody else has done something far more embarrassing than that. So after this, Lindsay goes up to Sierra and Mia, our dream team to see three. And she says, I heard from like Jesse and Ben that Kyle's on the line for 2.1 million on a loan. But honestly, I don't give a fuck. Like that's not a reason to treat your wife that way. Lindsay says, well, do you think that those finances, like if something happens, will that affect Amanda? And Sierra's like, girl, remember, there's no prenup. If he's on the line, so she. Lindsay says, this is way worse than I thought. And it's about to get worse, girl. So at this point, West's confronts Kyle. Now, this was something that I was curious about in terms of editing was this because Jesse was there, but we didn't see Jesse contribute anything to the conversation. He doesn't say anything. He doesn't back anything up that West says he doesn't say anything to Kyle as far as we see. I find that, you know, given what we know about Jesse, very hard to believe that he would sit there in any situation and just be mute. I think we just didn't see stuff, but it's a lot more compelling now to see West and West alone talk to Kyle about how he should handle and respect and treat Amanda. Now, technically, West is not wrong in anything that he says to Kyle. He starts off by asking him to even remember anything that you said last night in any capacity. Kyle tells him I'm compartmentalizing. I'm not really sure what happened, what triggered me, but I just I got triggered. Who West tells Kyle, I know there's a lot of layers and depth to your relationship. One involves me fucking your wife. But this was the first time where I thought objectively this was unnecessary because nothing happened. Like this was just black and white, not the right thing, Kyle. And it can't be that way. Like you can get shit off your chest, but this was bad. Kyle says I feel bad, but I'm basically falling apart. So West says, OK, just for starters, tell her that tell her you're falling apart. Tell her I didn't mean it. I'm sorry. And Kyle says I feel bad. But to be honest with you, like I get a little selfish when she's having fun with everybody else other than me. And suddenly West, oh, no, I get it. Like I hear you. I hear you. Do you do you? I know you're frustrated, man, but like we have your back. And I got Amanda's back in her front and her side and all angles for her and we're your friend. So West tells Kyle, if you have something to get off your dress, talk to us and then we'll talk to you. Don't take it out on my girlfriend, Amanda. Just say sorry. Don't justify anything to her. Just try that. So then Kyle says in a confessional, I know they mean well, but if they really meant well, they'd say something to Amanda like, hey, you're giving us all the attention while we're flirting and playing games together. Maybe you could say like, hey, that's your husband. Maybe you could give him some attention. So unfortunately, I do have to like, well, I'm not going to walk anything back, but I do think maybe we do need to pay a little bit more attention now to the fact that maybe Kyle's not wrong. And Amanda is like truly actively not paying attention to him. Now does he deserve it? Probably. But the fact that he is clocking on some level that there's like intentional attention being paid to people, not him. My eyes a little bit wider. So then we see Amanda go to sit with the girls. They're having a little party debrief. Mia asks Amanda, does Kyle apologize to you yet? She goes, no, I'm not even sure if he remembers what he did or anything. So then Lindsay says, does Amanda know what you found out? And Amanda's like, what? I'm nervous. What did you what Sierra? What did you find out? What did you just find out? What's information? I'm nervous. Could you just say it now? And Sierra goes, well, I guess like Loverboy has about three months left to payroll and he's like personally on the hook for 2.1 million. I mean, it's like, oh, God, that's it. I don't care about that girl. So Lindsay says, well, I know you didn't sign a pre-nup. So I'm not really sure how this would affect you. Amanda lets us know in a confessional. She don't care. Like, honestly, I've been wanting to say this for years. She was a real dumb bitch for not signing that pre-nup. Now you're a real dumb bitch for other things, but like, I feel so much good. So good for, I don't know why I was trying to be nice to her about those, but like really stupid, really stupid work. And here she is saying in a confessional, I, Kyle's the one who went to business school. He makes business decisions. I went to art school. I don't know. I don't know. But she tells the girls, I don't have any answers for you. I think I'm just like dumb. I'm in limbo. I'm fucking West, but we do have separate bank accounts. So, you know, like it hasn't changed since we got married. He do, he does his thing. I do mine clearly. Mia then tells Amanda, you really need to not accept the fact that he speaks to you that way. Like you don't deserve it. Then Sierra tells her the lashing out is really unacceptable and it's inexcusable. And she says, great, I've never been married, but I'm seeing reasons why my mom divorced my dad. And the same reasons why Kyle treats you like maybe you need to leave him. The way he speaks to you is unacceptable. And if everything you do is pissing him off and, you know, kind of vice versa, maybe y'all both need to take a break. And if he's so reactive and impulsive towards you, you can take the space, figure your own shit out. Lindsay's like, yeah, let him know what it feels like to live without you. Sierra says, I genuinely think it would be more productive if you guys just separated. Like not a permanent thing, just a week or two. You can always stay with me and we'll take care of you because you, Amanda, Betula deserve to be taken care of. We can help you. Sierra is getting emotional at the thought of her girl going through something and being stuck in a relationship in which she's not being cherished, respected and honored and spoken to with care and love. And months later, Amanda is not even like you forgot it because you're caught in hard print saying, I could not have gotten throughout the summer without Sierra. She's an incredible woman. She's so kind and I love her so much. You just said that like a month ago, girl, like multiple times. That's wild. And unfortunately, I'm going to have to do another prayer. I guess I shouldn't just got to do it at the top of the year annually. Like we had to do a few years ago. I was scared of all next year. I'm going to need y'all to cheat regular. Okay. I won't even just say don't cheat. Just cheat in a normal way. Just find somebody else. You didn't even have to cheat. You were separated. This also brings me to another great point. See, I was about to scream. Here's a scream coming up. Took me a while. Now she announced, she and Kyle announced their separation breakup on January 19th. By the time we get to the Super Bowl, y'all are already together enough to be claiming to people. Food for all of us. 18 plus nectar required excludes locals end 7th of April subject to availability. You know what I mean? After this, Jesse goes running to tell Amanda how good his boy did. Kyle, you're so great. He advocated for you. He was so cool. Like he was so nice to you. She's like, oh, thank you so much for letting me know. You guys are the reason why I keep coming back to the house. Not him, not Kyle. You too. So obviously people try to go out to the club. Kyle's trying to go with his old man makeup on. Amanda tells him he's not allowed to. You know, we're not going to have you out here looking like old man river. So we're just going to do a light makeup routine and you're going right to bed. But then once again, we're getting into these pre-bed fights and then calling it and being like, you know what, let's just go to sleep. I can't do that. Like I cannot live in such a high tension. I mean, I, it's clear that Amanda does not give a fuck at this point. So it doesn't really matter to her, but like, and Kyle's also like deeply high energy, standing desk energy as I call it. So maybe this like high cortisol is nothing to him, but I couldn't take it. So he starts, he had another conversation right before bed saying, I just feel like I wish you would love me. And Amanda says, she's help taking off the shoes. Cause maybe if you were nicer to me, it would be easier. Kyle says, well, I feel like we're going through a lot and we're in trouble. And Amanda's like, yeah, we are. Kyle finally apologizes and Amanda, you know, rightfully asks why did it take you so long? Why was it not the first thing you said when you woke up this morning? Why did you have to be told to apologize to me? Kyle's got nothing to say, but I don't know. Amanda basically is like, listen, maybe we need to talk about this when we're both fully sober. So they go to bed again. Well, Kyle goes to bed. They show Amanda just looking at her phone. I wonder what at what secret snap chats, close friends. You checking to make sure your boy wasn't hitting on somebody at the club tonight. You couldn't keep an eye on him. Hmm. So the next morning, Darra and KJ have decided to make pancakes and whatever the hell else for everybody for breakfast. KJ and Darra are fine. You know, they're cute. Darra does reveal the unfortunate news about KJ. He doesn't season his eggs, not even salt. She really had to talk him into it. Other than that, no red flags. They're doing great. We got to move on. Everybody sits down for breakfast. Lindsay invites the whole house. You included Carl and your boutaga slides. He'll he clogs to her housewarming. Thank God Wes isn't going to be there. He's going to a wedding in Italy with whom? Who was your date? I wonder Ben asked for a plus one with Sabrina for Sabrina, the girl that he put, you know, on pause for the summer house. I mean, that was in Ben did say earlier that he's like looking around, wondering what it would be like to be at this party with Sabrina. And I just wonder is like, no shade of Sabrina because they are still together. But are you thinking about her? Or are you thinking about her because like you really, I mean, he must really want to be with her. Let me let me not do anything to you, Sabrina girl. I just couldn't help a wonder like where you seem like you were trying to be outside. And you just really couldn't find anything. So I'm wondering if like this might be why our thoughts are turning back towards Sabrina, but she seems like a nice lady. So we'll move on. Sierra lets everybody know I'm going to be in North Carolina this week because she bought her grandparents home. Her grandfather built the home. Her father and his siblings were raised there. That was like the constant family home in the family. Like despite how many times she moved, like she's got the holiday memories and all of that. So it was really important to keep it in the family. Now they did say that somebody asked, does your dad know that you bought the house? And she says no. Now I know that she has a strange relationship with her father, but how do you sell a house and not know who you sold it to? That's what I'm wondering. But anyway, great accomplishment for Sierra. Shout out to Mia for being like, she's really downplaying this whole situation, but this has been a really like extensive back and forth. She was in a lot of negotiations. I'm so proud of her. Of course, Sierra gets emotional and sitting across looking like he's almost looking at this like beautiful moment with Sierra. Like he's about to be in trouble. His face is getting red. He's covering his mouth. He's complaining again about how much he would love to tell Sierra how proud he is. And he knows that this is a big deal, but he just can't say it because he doesn't know like their relationship is still so strange. Yeah, Wes, tell us more. What strange things are happening in the relationship? You want to open up to what strange things might be happening with another relationship in the house? See, it was too weird. Like, why are you so scared? And like, didn't we start this summer where he was like so excited and everything? And then it seemed like we turned a corner to terrify it again. And I think that's also very interesting. Like, I wonder if somebody saw things going well and was like, you know what? I want to be back in the game again. And now suddenly Wes is scared. So while everybody's packing, Kyle and Amanda are in their room. Kyle's like, can I get a hug? And Amanda says, yeah, I just don't understand why you waited until last night. Tell me you were sorry. Kyle says, I needed time to process. And to be honest with you, I don't really know what got into me on Friday. But Amanda said, but you walked past me and you said, fuck you. Kyle says, I know I need time to figure out why I said that. I said what I said because I'm an asshole, but I also don't feel like you want to be with me. So Amanda tells him, we're in a weird place right now. You said, fuck you to me Friday night. You were talking about me negatively in the beginning of the summer. It's like the way that you speak to me. It's an issue. And I just feel disrespected constantly. So Kyle says, I'm sorry. Our relationship is in troubled waters, but we need to do something. And I think it needs to be we. And that's an interesting word. Some might say Amanda's new favorite word these days, isn't it? Amanda does say, I have stuck by your side through all the yelling, all the name calling. I really can't put up with it much longer. Like I can't continue to be treated this way. And I put up with it because I know that it's not just me. That's making me feel you feel this way. Like I know you're at a breaking point with your business and there's other stuff going on. Kyle says, you're right, there are, but this is like there are other times where I feel like you don't care. Like I just I don't understand why we're not putting in the work. Like would you be willing to go to couples therapy? And Amanda says, yeah, I've been saying that. Kyle tells her I love you. I know that's why we're still together. But I feel like we got to feel like we're in a partnership and we're in it together because it's just like trying to feel like constant shit. And yeah, she's like, yeah, me too. So we end at Lindsay's incredible apartment like girl, you must have been sacked money. Okay. Because you notice there were several rich people who walked into that apartment and we're like, God damn. We have not seen an apartment like that in like, oh, gee, Roni since Bethany started rolling in the big books. And she came back as like skinny girl, you know, good for you girl. We got a pianist at the entryway. We have a man with a tray of glasses of champagne, gorgeous. I will say it's just like lacking in color a bit for me that because the whole living room seems to be like a taupe kind of color. And we also did that in the couches. I would just like a little bit more color, but very chic girl. Very chic. Carl comes over. Poor guy. He says, I brought a gift for you. I've got a bottle for you. And Lindsay's like, is this not alcoholic? He goes, no, it's regular. And I got something for Gemma. And Lindsay's like, oh, that's so nice. He's like, yeah, you know, I got something at a kid's store in Brooklyn. You know, I just figured because she lived in New York, you know, it's like a, you know, like a whole thing. And Lindsay's like, yeah, well, thank you. So at the end of the episode, we leave with the to be continued because Dara finally gets in front of Bailey and Levi. The way that Bailey, honestly, like, I feel like not intimidating, but just the way she like truly did not give a fuck about this. Her energy in this conversation was just so funny to me because Dara starts off by saying, you know, this weekend KJ was, you know, kind of acting a bit weird. Bailey's got some kind of appetizer that she's chewing on. She goes, okay, and where do I fall into this equation? And Dara says, okay, well, I heard that you said that I was alone in Ben's room. And I was in there for an hour. Bailey says, were you not in there? Now, Dara, why did you say no when you were? That was odd because it's not like she lied to KJ. She was like, yeah, I was in there, but I was changing, not flirting, big whoop. Why is, I don't know, maybe she got caught up in the moment. But interesting to me that she told Bailey and Levi I wasn't in there. So Bailey is like, all right, well, I don't know where you were then. I was wrong. But we'll see. It really gave like in the midseason trailer that Dara was about to buck up on them. And this was like going to be a fight. And I do think it's going to be a fight, but just Bailey's energy was very interesting to me. I'll say that. You guys, I was about to be done and I was just about to hit edit and upload. But then we have to come back to, quank, quank, quank, quank, quank, quank, breaking news. Kyle Dunn called the paparazzi meet me down in the financial district. I got two dogs in a story. Okay. He went to Adam, the guy from TMZ. I don't think he's at TMZ anymore, but he had a lengthy conversation with Kyle where Kyle just got blessed. So I, and I was like, I was hoping this would happen. He basically let us know all we needed to know. So the things that I said in the beginning of the episode were basically pretty much confirmed. He did not really put things together until this weekend. It got to a point where there was like more and more receipts and more evidence and they did not come to him. He came to them and, you know, it got to a point where they could not deny it. Now he says that West sent him a half-assed word scramble of a text message. Doesn't even know what it said. Couldn't tell you. Doesn't matter. It was on some bullshit. Now very interestingly, I mean, rightfully so, Kyle's probably more mad at West than he is at Amanda, but he seemed deeply actually concerned for Amanda. And I knew that this was going to happen because this is what always happens when people get caught publicly doing something that is, you know, not popular. That pretty quickly becomes like a mental health situation, bullying situation, a, hey, I know this was not a good thing, but like back up because it's getting a little too deep situation. Kyle said that he had spoken to Amanda and that he's really genuinely concerned for her and her mental health. And he's like, I know she did the wrong thing, but basically it seems like it's getting real heavy for her. And he also seemed to be deeply annoyed at the fact that I guess he feels like West is getting more popular, whereas Amanda is getting like completely dragged through the mud. He's taken out numbers. He's nothing but a businessman. Nothing if not a businessman. It's like, I don't understand why Amanda is getting cyber bullied on her Instagram. And then at the same time, West has gained 50,000 followers. That's not really making sense to me. Kyle also makes it very clear that he, I mean, he confirmed, yeah, West is out here in these streets hoeing and showing. So I'm just assuming that whatever he's been saying to all the rest of the women he's been currently talking to, he's probably got them under his spell just like Amanda is likely under his currently. So he's, he's pissed. Now, apparently there are two more parts of this conversation with Kyle that have not been released yet. So, you know, I'll be watching this space all afternoon or until I decide to take an app, which is pretty imminently honestly, but I'll be looking when I wake up. Thank you guys so much for listening. Thank you for speaking. What a week you guys. And what a couple of weeks we got. Girl, it's about to be a month. Love you. Bye. Hey, Sainsbury's. I'm cooking for everyone this Easter, but I don't want to break the bank. Got any tasty offers? Well, with Nectar, there's half price on selected sides of salmon and selected beef joints and whole legs of lamb are better than half price. Don't be as happy as my wallet. Sainsbury's, good food for all of us. 18 plus Nectar required excludes locals end 7th of April subject to availability, teas and seas apply.
