All right, here's a fantastic call for my weekend show, the Kim Commando Show. That. That's a highlight reel right inside itself. Clayton in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Hi there, Clayton. Hi. I can't believe I'm talking with you. This is great. Oh, my pleasure. I want to let you know I listen to you every Sunday after church on 11:50am Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I love hearing about the gadget, but I'm not tech savvy at all, which is why I'm calling. Well, I can help you out there. And thanks for your kind words about everything that we do over here. Well, I have twin sons who are now serving in the Marine Corps and they'll probably be discharged in about six months. And what I'd like to do for them is create some type of book, sort of like a coffee table book, or rather a yearbook. Sure. With all the pictures that they've sent me, I don't want it just to be an album. I would like it to, you know, have some room for text or what have you. And I don't know where to go, so I'm calling you. Well, first of all, thank you for the. The guy's service, your twins. That's pretty awesome. Yes, it is. And we are also heard on the American Forces Radio Network. And so I'm so proud to be associated with our service men and women in all branches of the military. Now, when it comes time for all these pictures, now, the good news is, is that it's super easy to do. Clayton, really? This isn't something that you're going to be like, okay, I gotta get a piece of software. Then I've got to learn this. And then I've got to put my pictures in a certain order and only put them in that certain order? No, not at all. A couple of places you want to go. One is called Shutterfly. Makes it really easy what you're going to do is upload all your pictures to a Shutterfly account and then they have templates for you to import the photos in. So. And then you can add text around the photos. You can add stickers and emojis or whatever you want, whatever you might want to do with it. You can have hardcover books, which are really nice. When you talked about the coffee table book. So you really want a nice hardcover book. Pricing varies on book size, number of pages, the COVID type, but really, you can't beat a nice hardcover book. Right. Another site that you might want to check out is called Mixbook. It may have more templates than Shutterfly. It's a little bit harder to use, and it might be a little bit more expensive. Now, I have to tell you that if you are a Costco member, is that they have really good books that you can design. And they do. They have it at really some great prices, as you might expect, and they have a lot of customization options. So first I'm going to recommend Shutterfly just because I've used it myself. And the books are really high quality mix, as I mentioned, that mix book, it's also good and also Costco now. So what you're going to do is you're going to gather all the photos that you can can. And of course, you can personalize the photos with captions and dates, maybe some. Maybe some stories that you might get to accompany for a more personal touch. So if like they sent you the photo with a text message, right? Is save the text message as a photo as well. So. Oh, yes, so you can have the photo and then what they said about that picture right there. So this way they can always remember. And what's nice about these photo books is that you get the memories out of your device and then you put it on the coffee table and then people who come over, they thumb through it and then it just really sparks conversations and good things like that. Clayton, if you need any help afterwards, I am always, always here for you 100%. Just reach out and say, you know, I'm stuck here. Or how can I answer this? Or how can I do this? Or. Cause I really want to make sure that your book is just the most beautiful thing known to mankind. Well, aside from my son, of course. Clayton, thank you for your call today. A standing ovation to you for tuning in. Yay. Now, if you're puzzled by a tech issue, here's your call to action. Head to commando.com, select email. Kim.
