Hey everybody, welcome to a new episode of Collectors Corner with Jimmy Starr. Today we're going to focus on the movie that's coming out in June, I believe. It's called Masters of the Universe. It's going to be super fun. It's a remake because it's been done before. It was also a cartoon and they have great action figures. And the reason I'm so excited about this one is because it stars Nicholas Galitcine. And Nicholas Galitcine is a great actor who I actually interviewed many years ago when he did High Strong movie, Michael Damien's movie, where he played like a violin player. It's like a dance movie and a hip-hop movie and it was like number one on iTunes for movies. It was a great movie and he was a great guy and since then his career has taken off. So I'm super excited about it. So today we're going to talk about Masters of the Universe and the action figures that I have, at least for the movie that's coming out. The action figures just came out. Before we get started though, I'm going to play the trailer for Masters of the Universe for the very new movie that's coming out. So enjoy, you guys. I know how it sounds to fail. Take the sword. Then when you fall, that's your chance to stand tall. I have the power! The universe is a quake in my shadow. This is my home. I'm gonna fight for it. But I can't do it without you. Somebody wants to borrow. I need every man, woman, or whatever that is. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I know all of you. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I know all of you. You may have the power, but you're too scared to use it. Trust me. I know how to use it. You tell everyone that you're from another planet. It just makes you sound a little very crazy. I'm really excited about it. The movie stars are cool people. I'm looking up to see who the actual cast is. It's got Camilla Mendes in it. You know her from Riverdale. It's got Idris Elba in it. And Jared Lito plays Skeletor. Here are some of the action figures. It actually looks just like Nicholas Galitzine. This is the He-Man. He plays He-Man and here is the action figure. I actually got two of these because I want to open up one of them and play with them. And I don't usually open up any of the action figures. I keep them in their boxes. So this is He-Man, played by Nicholas Galitzine. Then there's a bunch of different versions. So this one, this first one is a Mattel version. They're both Mattel versions. They're just different. They cost different prices and stuff and everything. But here's another one that's a little bit different. And mostly it's the size. This one is like a six inch and this is like a five inch. So this is the other He-Man's Masters of the Universe one. Then He-Man rides the Battle Cat. And this is the Battle Cat. You can see there's a place for him to sit right here. So this is Battle Cat. There's what he looks like in the front. I think his mouth opens maybe. No, it doesn't open, but his head goes up and down. So this is Battle Cat. And I'm probably going to display that and put him on this one because it'll be a lot of fun, I think. Then this is the second one that I have of the one so I can open one up and play with it. So check it out. That's Nicholas Galitzine. And then I haven't gotten all the figures yet, but I do have Jared Leto, Skeletor. He's very, very badass looking. You can tell he's all jointed and everything. So he's got lots of different articulate places to move the body around and stuff. So I think it'll be really cool. And eventually I'll get to Castle and everything and put it all together. And I think it'll be a lot of fun. But anyway, I'm really looking forward to it. These are great action figures all made by Mattel. And the movie's coming out on June 5th. So then what I thought I would do, since I interviewed him, I have a short, like, three-minute interview. I'm going to play it. I got over a million plays on Instagram. And I'm here with the stars of High Strong Movie, Michael Damien directed, new film that opens April 8th. And you are Keenan Kampa and Nicholas Galitzine. Galitzine. I didn't know how to pronounce it. Everyone struggles with it, so don't worry. I have to tell you, first of all, I'm going to go to him first real quick. First of all, you guys are both phenomenally dressed. You look fabulous. You're so incredibly beautiful. I'm gay and I still think you're absolutely gorgeous. But I saw your first movie with Luke Perry, and it was awesome. I, like, loved it. For a first film, it was very, very good for you. I think you're going to be like the next, like, Channing Tatum, or Tatum Channing or whatever. If you like the dogs, then yeah. It doesn't matter if you can dance. So do you actually play the instrument in this movie? No, I actually had a sort of crash course on how to sort of play the violin about a month before and during the whole filming process. So I'm actually a guitarist, kind of by trade, but they auditioned a lot of violinists, but I think he appreciated my musicality. I started following you on Instagram today, and I saw some of your good star stuff. I actually run the Urban and Pop Divisions of the Spectrum Music Group. It's the largest indie record label in the world, so if you ever have any music you want to like us to hear, I'll give you a card when we're not on air. And you, from what I understand, because I Googled you to find out, I know it's your first film. First of all, you're beautiful. I saw it on my computer, so I can't wait to actually see it on a big screen. But you did fabulous. And from what I understand, you're like a prima ballerina with the Russian ballet. I did dance there, yes. Okay, and did you, but you do everything, because in this film you're doing everything. So was ballet your beginning? Yeah, ballet, I started ballet when I was four, and then I was asked to go to the school in Russia at the Vagonovik Academy when I was 17. It's like a really big deal, right? It was kind of a big deal, yeah. You guys are like, it always amazes me. It's always the people who don't have any talent that have like all this braggadociousness, and it's all the really talented ones that are so humble, like, yeah, it was a big deal. That's just like you did it, you know, it's a good deal. Right, you already did it, right, okay. It doesn't change it, you know, by talking about it. But yeah, so I went to the school for three years, and then I graduated, and then I worked with the Boston Ballet for two years, and then I was invited to go back to Russia to join the company. That was like, that was a huge honor for me. And then how did you guys get hooked up with High Strong Movie? How did you find out to even get into this film? They saw a feature that... Mary Carrillo from NBC News, she filmed a feature, and I was in it, I was featured in it, and I danced for the Sochi Olympics, and it played on Primetime, played on the Today Show, and Michael saw it, and he sent me a tweet, and so... Oh my gosh. Yeah, I was... it was just kind of... I'm actually following you, but you don't tweet a whole lot. No, my Twitter is like non-existent, I gotta work on it, I'm going to work on it. You guys have to follow me back, and anytime you want to promote anything, I have like over a million followers, and you can just like put me at the end of it, and then I'll retweet it for you. I need lessons on Twitter though, it overwhelms me. Oh, I can totally like teach you how to do it. Instagram is like... I'm following you guys on Instagram too, but I just started following you today, that's when I noticed the guitar thing. So, High Strong Movie, you guys, it's going in theaters April 8th, these are your stars, they're absolutely gorgeous.
