•Apr 2, 2026about 2 months agoSummary
Dana discusses major entertainment and true crime stories including the Summer House scandal involving Amanda and West's affair discovered by Sierra, the Nancy Guthrie missing person investigation's investigative failures, and Timothy Busfield's child sexual abuse allegations with a pattern of accusations spanning 40 years.
Insights
- Pattern of behavior across decades is a critical indicator when evaluating serious allegations—Busfield has accusations from the 1980s through 2020s, unlike isolated incidents
- Social media and public sentiment can create severe mental health crises for accused parties; Amanda faces potential career-ending consequences despite being one of multiple parties at fault
- Law enforcement incompetence in high-profile cases can be as damaging as the crime itself—Nancy Guthrie case shows how inexperienced supervisors and poor initial investigation protocols compromise justice
- Relationship trauma and insecurity can drive destructive decision-making; Amanda's affair appears rooted in vulnerability, alcohol use, and seeking validation rather than malice
- PR crisis management matters significantly—joint statements can amplify damage rather than mitigate it, especially in infidelity cases requiring personal accountability

Let's enjoy a fun Thursday episode of Daily Dose of Donna. Hello, friends. First, before I get into the show, I have to. I have to tell you guys about the movie I went to last night, Project Hail Mary. And let me tell you, you don't have. Okay, I'm going to say a couple of things. I love my journey of reading books this year in 2026. It actually started towards the end of 2025. I picked books back up and I go through stages with books. I go through stages where I don't listen to or read any books, and then I go through stages where that's all I want to do. So I asked on TikTok the other day, the other month, I said, I love audiobooks. I'm constantly having something in my ear. If not a podcast, I need a good audiobook while I work out, while I walk the dogs, do dishes, et cetera, laundry especially. And everyone said Project Hail Mary on audiobook is like a must listen. So I went over to, and it gets great reviews. Everyone was talking about it, all these girly pops. And then I went over to Project Hail Mary on audio, number one, you can only listen to it on Audible. You cannot listen to it through Spotify Premium, which I do a lot of my listening through. And I thought to myself, Project Hail Mary is 1 million gazillion percent, not my genre. Like it's about space. It's about space and science and aliens and like life on other planets. Like what in the world? This is not something I'm going to be into. But I listened to my people, and if so many people liked Project Hail Mary and thought it was going to be phenomenal, I was going to give it to them, and at least try. And here's the thing, the audiobook does get sciencey. It does get deep in the weeds, and it's long. It's, I think it's like a 15 hour audiobook. But the performer, the guy who does the voice of the main character, who his name is, well, it's played by Ryan Gosling, the actor, the character. He's so phenomenal, the audio version, the narrator, and that really does make a big difference. It's kind of like when you listen to a podcast or something, you can't handle it if the voice is not, if the person speaking is not your person, you know? So it's so well done, and it's so good that I honestly fell in love with the story. So we go last night, the boys come back from camping, we go straight to the theater. Do you know how expensive a damn movie is in 2026? I'm going to sound like my mom right now. Do you know how expensive it is to go with a family of four to see an IMAX movie here in Los Angeles at a theater? Four tickets, $116. That doesn't include anything except a seat, okay? $50 at the concession stand. I mean, it's a $200 night. It's wild. So we're sitting at the theater, the movie starts for two hours and change. I sat there, I cried, I laughed, I loved, I live laughed and loved. I didn't think about Weston Amanda. I didn't think about Nancy Guthrie. I didn't think about who else is there to think about. I just thought about me and Rocky. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, you go and watch that movie. It's phenomenal. I will definitely recommend it, highly recommend it, and I think Ryan Gosling should win Best Actor. I'm not joking when I tell you, I fell. So Ryan Gosling does have a case of the cheek filler situation. I don't know if you guys have noticed that. No, we have two Rhyans from Canada. One is Ryan Gosling and the other one is a piece of shit. His name is Ryan, Ryan, Ryan. What's his name? Reynolds. I can't stand Ryan Reynolds. You guys know that, right? I can't stand him. I can't handle him. He is truly the worst. This is a great idea, Joey. Is this real? Get the AMC Theatre subscription or Regal 27.99 per month for four movies per week? Who has the time? Are there even enough movies to go to for a month? But 27.99 is cheap. I wonder if you can use it for IMAX movies, though. Anyway, so, and I did go to a Regal. So Ryan Reynolds is a piece of crap. And if you're new here on Daily Dose of Donna, you know we don't like Ryan Reynolds, okay? If you like Ryan Reynolds, you're going to have to sit over there. Just right outside. Okay? Wrigley, I think, likes Ryan Reynolds because she's over there growling. She wants her bone. Let me give it to her. Hold on. Because that would have gone on forever. So, yes, you can't sit with us if you like Ryan Reynolds. You can continue to live your life. I mean, I'm not going to tell you that you're not allowed to live. You just can't really be in the dozer world. I never even showed you guys the clip. Did you see the clip of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively at the Jonathan Groff concert? This guy is so annoying. Not Jonathan Groff, but Ryan. I'm going to try to find it really fast. It was on Instagram. I have no idea where I saw it. I just Googled it. I'm not sure. So, they did like a charity thing. And of course, Ryan Reynolds happens to be in the audience and bought Jonathan Groff's hat for $25,000 during the Frozen Final Performance on Broadway. Now, Jonathan Groff is absolutely phenomenal. Like I have no issue with Jonathan Groff, but let me see. This is on YouTube, so I won't get smacked down. Let's try to see if we can see it in this angle. Time of year where the theater community dance together and raises money for an amazing organization called Broadway Cares Equity Highlights. Okay, great organization. Hold on. This organization literally saves our lives. And so, 22 years ago, after I took this tour, I signed up to be what is called a Red Bucket Volunteer. Okay, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it. So, I guess they do an auction for the hat. And are we going to see Ryan Reynolds actually buy it? But this is a bad angle, maybe. The bottom of my heart for coming to the show for this last year, and it's meant the world to me. I'm bored. I'm bored with this bad angle. I have to find a better one. Now that I got into it, I have to get into it. You know what I mean? Oh, okay, here we go. This is two minutes and 41 seconds. This has got to be it. Hold on. Sharing with you guys. One, two, three. Here we go. I think they're going to do the whole thing. And that's it. Notice there is frickin' Ryan. Blake behind him. Okay, and now, I can't pause it. Like, red to pink, pause it. They're doing some big can-can. There's Blake. 25, no points. Maybe some just like something else. I mean, they're on space. Jared. And you know what? Come up one spank for every five. One spank? There's spank in traffic! Wait, is this Ryan asked for this? This is Frank's actually. One, two, three, four, five. That's it. Guys, I'm going to say something that's really unpopular in a second. Hold on. This poor little baby, it's Ryan. Other daughter. He needed it. Why is Blake sitting behind her husband? They couldn't get four tickets together? Isn't that weird? I'm going to say something that's really unpopular, because I love Broadway. I love Broadway so much, but I have to say something, okay? Guys? Broadway actors are kind of annoying. I said it. I said it out loud. They're just theater kids. Like theater people are so big in everything they do. They just can't get enough of the energy. Do you know what I mean? Like it's not just me, right? It feels like I'm watching Leah Michelle on Glee, like constantly. It's just like so over the top. I love my life. It's like annoying. Like just talk. I understand that you have to perform for the audience, like when you're in character, but they're like that when they're not in character, too. Maybe that's why Ryan Reynolds is annoying, because he feels like a Broadway character in life. You know what I mean? He's over the top in his daily life. Every interview, everything he does is like, I'm Ryan Reynolds. He's like trying to be Jim Carrey, but he's not Jim Carrey. Maddie says, don't show Dylan this. I know. I know. Well, I would never let my kid go to Broadway. He can if he really wants to once he's out of my house. But as a kid, never, never, never, never, never. Never, never. Even Texas says I'm a theater kid and I totally agree. Always on, always on. Maybe I have Tourette's today. Maybe I have Broadway Tourette's. And I love Broadway. Okay. I just went to three Broadway shows in the last few months. Like I love it. Okay. Rachel agrees. I was a theater kid and trust me, I was nauseating. Still am. Okay. Thanks. Thank you. Thank you. I feel so much better about this conversation. We get into the show, but the point that I was making was that Ryan Gosling is the better of the Ryan's. And you can make fun of his, you know, issues with getting filler and whatever. And, you know, he really took that Ken role seriously when he was in Barbie, but he is phenomenal in this movie. He basically is alone in at least 50% of the movie. It's got like a cast away vibe for that reason, because he's in space alone and he meets someone and I'm not going to tell you anything about it. But wow, it is such a beautiful movie. He did a great phenomenal job. Like I love Ryan Gosling now again, and we're back to notebook stage. Okay. Let's get into the show. Are you guys, where do we start? Who do we want to start with? Nancy Guthrie, Summer House or Timothy Busfield or more? I have other stories. I don't, I don't want to like overdo. I did get one comment. You know how you can get like 5 million happy nice comments and then you get that one mean comment and you're like, why they say that? So I got so many great comments about my Summer House cover. My Summer House, you know, conversations in the last couple of days. And then I got one comment saying, I'm bored. And I'm like, is everyone bored? So now I don't know. Muddy is wondering, can you listen to the audio with your boys, this, the Project Hail Mary audio? Actually, well, listen, it depends on who your kids are. It doesn't get gory. It doesn't get really graphic. I mean, there's like a moment or two here and there. It's very science heavy, but I will tell you, Dylan, listen to the first chapter with me one day when we were driving, I re listened to the first chapter with him and that's what got him into buying the book on Kindle and then reading the entire book. Lance listened to the entire thing. I listened to the entire thing and Oliver got into it, but then he started reading it and he hasn't finished it, but he's only 10. Okay. So let's start with Amanda and West. Okay. You guys are wanting, you guys are wanting it. Well, Tamsi just released a little bit of a bomb show about Amanda and West. And this is now we're really kind of hitting the, the scandal of all of it all, scandal of all of it all because of this. So if you guys can go back and remember the way Arianna found out about Raquel and Tom, do you guys remember where it was? It was in the Tom Tom bathroom. She was in the bathroom. He had just performed. They were at Tom Tom, right? I'm 99.9% sure it was Tom Tom. He found the, she found the phone. She grabbed his phone while he was performing Tom. It like dropped and then she took it into the bathroom and then she had a spidey sense. So she started going through his phone and that's where she found videos of Raquel and Tom and like conversations between the two of them. Then she would like confront him and, and they walked down the alley behind like Sir and Tom Tom and all those restaurants. Okay. That's why I knew it was Tom Tom. So shockingly, it seems like Sierra found out about Amanda and West in a similar fashion. TMZ is reporting, groundbreaking, bombshell reporting that the way that Sierra found out is really, really crazy. You guys, this is not ideal for anyone. I think ideally the way that this could have gone down. There's so many things here. Let me share the story and then remind me if I forget. I want to share what I think would have allowed this relationship to happen and not taken the world by storm this way in general. Okay. So according to TMZ, Summer House's Sierra discovered a video of West and Amanda before they confirmed the romance. Now we had heard rumors of this happening. Okay. We had heard rumors that there was something going on there and Susan says, find my friends had Amanda at West's overnight. If Amanda had find my friends on her phone and she wasn't aware that it was showing her at West's overnight, that is shocking. But the story is basically saying that she got a video showing Amanda and West being intimate in his apartment and they had no idea that they were being recorded. So listen, riddle me this. I don't live in New York City. I live in obviously like more of a suburban home in Los Angeles. Like how can there be a video of them being intimate inside their apartment without them knowing unless it's through a window? Is that how? Do you think that, I mean, that's the only thing that kind of gets me unless it's in their lobby, like through, you know, the doorman or whatever. I just don't know why they would be so stupid to do it so publicly. I imagine it was in an apartment, but what through a window? Like someone got so lucky that they were able to see into West's window. Now, a lot of you guys think that Paige got into this. So basically Sierra found Amanda at West's on find my friends and then sent, like told Paige and Paige got involved and sent someone over and whatever. But like this seems insane. What kind of video? Number one, are they having sex? Are they kissing? Are they heavy petting? Are they just like hand on a knee? I don't know. Oh, you guys maybe said stairwell. Interesting. Huh. Another person that posted about this was the snark bait girls, Sophie and Christy. They had posted about a week ago. Kind of when this was all, no, it couldn't have been a week ago because I think this happened like this week. They had posted a text that they got from someone in their lives, like a private person. And they got, let me try to find, here's the text. This is crazy. You guys, this feels crazy, but I have to share it with you guys. And I don't know if this is true. It's six days ago, six days ago. And this is from the snark bait pods Instagram account. It's a DM that someone sent them and it reads this. And it reads this. Hi. Okay. So disclaimer, I've literally never done this because I never have tea and I don't know how it works, but I'm a baby snark and have to secretly share with my girls. My blank has a Bravo page, blank, and has gotten very friendly with the summer house cast, Southern charm cast and Southern hospitality cast. Also with a lot of other Bravo pages and media companies. My blank got a text from blank who told her that his friend from blank lives across the way from Amanda's apartment and doesn't really watch the show apparently, but that she got a picture of Amanda and West kissing in her apartment. Then it gets back to Sierra somehow. And last night she met up with the girl who has the picture, the girl who has the picture showed it to Sierra and Sierra confirmed that it was Amanda and West and that she is definitely upset about it. Apparently the girl didn't want to put it anywhere and expose it in the way that she just wanted Sierra to know after all the rumors flew and after they denied hooking up. Blank said he trust the source, but that it's a he said, she said situation and that it's definitely why they didn't do the live together today because Sierra found out last night. So we don't know who they're talking about and who the characters are that they're involved with, but that was around the day that they did those separate Amazon lives. And this is a little weird because this says it was in Amanda's apartment and it's possible that Amanda has the information and Todd and what it was happened in West building or Amanda's and like it doesn't really matter. It's actually like stupid. Those details. What's crazy is that this actually happened. This is literally real house was of New York. Don't let it be about Tom. It really feels like that. Marna says this sound stage for ratings and as much as I want to say it does, I really highly do not and I'll tell you why. This and I've been up at night thinking this now two nights in a row. This is not, I don't want to be dramatic by say life ending. This is career ending, like ability ending for two people, two very popular people. And I just don't want to believe that anyone like Amanda or West would ever do this for ratings. You guys, it doesn't track for me. Like getting a fight with your husband, fine, pretend there's some drama with your career. This is so bad for them that I don't know how they come back from it and that's why I just don't believe that it would happen that way. So I believe the story by Tamzy that Sierra was given some footage, video, whatever picture of this and then she had that moment. It says Amanda sent Sierra a text Monday afternoon, just this Monday, you guys, saying, I never meant to hurt you. She said she wanted to sort out her feelings about West before discussing the romance with her friend. Amanda and West then confirmed the romance on Tuesday, obviously, and we know that in the worst possible statement. Okay. I'm going to say something that maybe a lot of you guys don't like. I don't believe that Amanda did this to hurt anyone. I really don't. I don't think that Amanda is the kind of person. I can't put it in my brain that Amanda had this relationship with West developed to hurt anyone. But I've talked to enough girls who are in vulnerable places, maybe just out of relationships or whatever. You hold by insecurity and alcohol. And I say this truly. I really believe that Amanda was fueled by insecurity and a lot of dirty martinis, which she posts about every day. And you know me and dirty martinis. Okay. So I get that. And it clouded her judgment in like an incredibly bad way. There is a weird closeness that she probably developed with West, whether it was last year, a year before Kyle believes it probably happened around the summer. He said in that on the street interview, he's having, he's hearing, you know, he's getting DMs that it possibly happened. I just believe that there was. It was like a perfect storm. She was, she was unhappy in her marriage. He gets attention from this guy who's unavailable to her because he's someone that her best friend likes and has like feelings for and she's married and he's friends with her husband. But like she couldn't see straight. If that makes sense, she couldn't see straight and she became addicted to it. There is, this is a real thing by the way where, and men do it too, but I'm going to use a woman just because Amanda, where people get addicted to the attention and the way that someone makes them feel. And that's probably a little bit of like a Taylor and Dakota situation too. It's like, everything's bad. All signs point to red flag. Everyone says, don't go. Don't cross. And yet like you're drawn to it. You are drawn to it because it's bad, but it makes you feel so good. It's the dopamine highs. It's like the, it's like the, we're being bad energy. And honestly, I know way too many people that have gotten themselves in these situations. And this, the reason why this is so bad is because it's so double edged. It's not just cheating on Kyle or having an emotional affair while you're married, but it's doing it to your girlfriend and, and falling for your, the, the man who your girlfriend still has feelings for and has had her heart broken by. So all of it is bad. I'm not giving her a pass. I'm just saying, I get how it could happen. And then at the same time, um, I'm not going to say it's bad. I'm not going to say it's bad. And at the same time, um, West was a fucking snake by taking advantage of two women in the same summer. Because you see him like, like dangling the carrot for Sierra. While he's clearly flirty or maybe more with Amanda. So he's a snake for taking advantage of this hurt girl that needs fixing Because I think West wants to be the hero and he wants to be a fixer and Amanda Was selfish and just thinking about herself in those moments. She was not thinking about The domino effect of her horrible decisions. So it's a perfect storm of stupidity Fueled by alcohol and maybe pasta if you know what I mean because of what Austin said the other night Austin said Pasta and f'ing your friends exes are back Why would he say the pasta Just like I think Tom Sandoval and Raquel were probably high AF on everything I Would imagine that West For sure West I don't know about Amanda because her energy feels like much more pothead than cokehead, but I actually think that There was probably a lot of drugs related. I think this was a drug and alcohol and Insecurity fueled relationship that totally spiraled out of control So let's get to Where we went here on Monday when Sierra was presented this picture For this video this is where it gets really bad because at this point She's clearly hooking up with West enough and having feelings for West enough that they're like in each other's apartments and stuff This isn't like a drunk make out at a bar one night They're they're intentionally sleeping together and having a relationship in this moment So what's crazy about this is like I've been deep diving Amanda's ticktocks I don't know if you guys have and I just like want to get into her head if that makes sense like I want to see where her brain was this entire time, what was she thinking about and Why did she like when did it happen and you know, I just get really really obsessive over this stuff so What I noticed was that just recently just recently excuse me she did this Amazon live Event it was like a pop-and-shop with Sierra I'm gonna show it to you guys It was around she said Galentine's Day, so I'm assuming this is already February Okay, when the relationship is probably fully in swing at this point. Here you go Did the cutest Galentine's Day dinner with Amazon we had so much fun getting dressed up Giggling snacking yapping drinking doing all the things was a girls only event and we love that Amazon is your one-stop shop for all things Galentine's Day whether you're hanging home with the girls and you need Okay, I don't need it to be like an Amazon ad here. I'll just have a play in the background By the way, I want like 97% of these products. I'm so addicted to Amazon a lot of them are already on my Amazon shop Don't buy them from Amanda buy them for me um and I can't see it on my desktop, but Sierra comments like I love you so much You're the best and This was in January. This is the end of January. Okay, so at this point, I think that they're already kind of hooking up This is February right here Again February and like people were obsessed with our look this one comment that got 1700 likes the evolution of Amanda Batoula needs to be studied because people were just like whoa look divorce looks amazing on you You know, you know this one girl says I always wondered if her chronic depression was related in some way to Kyle I didn't know it helped the sit. I knew it didn't help the situation. She looks like a new woman She's a new woman you guys because she's living a double life she is having an absolute like She's living a life of betrayal and it's getting her It's getting her like high Does that make sense like she's high because she feels so good in this new relationship More videos of her This is her talking about like her brand deals I'm done with situations ships L. Oh L I mean Listen, you have to be a certain kind of person to really like Amanda like She's an interesting one It's just interesting to watch I've learned in that investing in yourself. I mean it's a lot of ads It's a lot of look at me look at me And This is the last thing I think she posted Again about drinking right I think she's drinking a lot. I think she's parting a lot drinking a lot and making really bad decisions so, okay, I Will say I will say that I feel The joint statement was diabolical and it literally put like It puts salt in a bad wound Because I think that she should have just come out on her own I don't think what should have been involved with it at all I think she should have come out on her own and she should have said a public thing where she basically says This was my fault. I messed up. I am so sorry I am I am working really hard on you know rebuilding the trust with my relationships. I adore The people in my life and I've really like not been seeing things straight I'm gonna work on myself and when they are ready for their for you know to receive my Apologies like I am here for them. It would be something along those lines But I don't know how in the world who in the world they have Blake and Ryan's PR team That's why that's the only possible thing here is that they have Blake and Ryan's PR team Basically saying this is a great statement Because you know Blake and Ryan have given have done everything wrong PR wise like everything So this kind of tracks right? That's what it is They spoke to Blake and Ryan and they were like I feel like you guys are really killing the PR game because they're idiots Can she even return to summer house after this Laura wants us asked well? Let me tell you guys this is crazy So the new show is called in the city and that is starring Amanda Petula Kyle cook and and What's her name? What's her name? Lindsay Hubbard They are supposed to air The premier episode of in the city in May Just like they did the Valley for Vanderpump rules Just like they did Vanderpump rules for real house as a Beverly Hills So the day of the reunion after the reunion or the finale or whatever it is when this show is supposed to end Summer house they're going straight into in the city for a second so in the city you guys I think is in the can meaning it's been shot Whether or not the fans want to watch it I kind of want to watch it I Kind of want to watch it. I'm not gonna lie. So whether or not the fans want to watch it will be Is TBD, but I'm very very fascinated to see what happens there um I Do have to say you know there's a lot of conversations about Amanda's mental health and I this is the part that hurts me and is hard because if you go back to the way that Arianna talked about Tom and Raquel at that reunion which shot just a couple weeks after Scandaval was like started It's exactly the same timing of this. This is so weird, right? Which is why why did Amanda release that statement right then? I think it's because Sierra found out and she was like, I'm gonna I'm gonna release something unless you guys do maybe that was it but It's so weird. It's like this exactly happened the reunion shot two weeks after Scandaval was discovered and Arianna was like if You go back and watch that reunion by the way the Scandaval reunion like it's kind of wild that Bravo allowed that kind of shit on TV it is almost Evil the way Arianna talks about Tom and Raquel in that episode and I say this as someone that totally 1000% was like yeah Arianna in the time like I really actually fell in the time that I Was like pro Arianna, but now years later three years later you look back and you're like whoa whoa He said like I hope they get f'd by a cheese grater like real mean cruel evil words came out of Arianna because it was so fresh and It was just really really tough to watch so my question is Amanda's already on the struggle bus with mental health Raquel may have been too, but I don't think anyone gave Raquel any grace including us How is this gonna go and you guys I want us to zoom out for a second how is this gonna go for Amanda If this is the energy that she gets because this is like And it doesn't take away from feeling Like Sierra deserves that love and energy but the reason why I say this is because I think Sierra is Golden right now. She has nothing to worry about the pain that she had from finding out about this relationship is is gonna be Overshadowed times a million by all of the most amazing love She's getting love from everyone, but imagine waking up you guys it would be like me doing something bad and waking up to find out that Lance hates me Molly hates me Zach hates me Besties Valerie hate my other besties Valerie hates me this like and then the world hates me I don't know if I could get through it Like I actually don't know if I could get through it and I'm a pretty strong person I actually think that I would be having to be watched for my safety It is really really Like it's I think we understate how horrible the internet is and how horrible Like I don't know who Amanda has in her corner right now And let's talk about Kyle because Kyle is in her corner Kyle is watching over her right now And he's feeling really guilty and feel not guilty. He feels worried for her. He knows how dark she gets he knows how bad things are and I think that I Think That like Kyle is going to be there for Amanda maybe more than Everyone and I wouldn't be surprised if Amanda and Kyle ended back together. I Think Amanda may wake up one day and say wait like Kyle When I was with Kyle, I thought life was bad But look at life without Kyle and look what's happened to my life and Kyle will be there for her because he's he's he's written with guilt over everything bad He's ever done to her so he's gonna be there for her and then all of a sudden she is going to be Dependable on him depended like she's gonna depend on him and she's gonna need him You know when I broke up with my ex-boyfriend before Lance I was with him for five years and the reason I broke up with him is because I just Wasn't physically or emotionally like in love with him anymore. Okay, but he was the nicest man ever And I would be mean to him and he would say I'm sorry He was that energy was a golden retriever energy. It wasn't like the person I wanted to marry But when I broke up with him and then I was dating and I was like going through those ups and downs and those happy and those Really really sad times. I missed him so much Right, that's a pretty normal reaction You start to feel so lonely and you need your person even though Kyle wasn't the right husband for her But I wouldn't be surprised if they end up getting back together because I don't think West is gonna be with Amanda How can Amanda now be with West finding out that he was dating six women? While You stating her and by the way, do you think West was on it? I'm sorry. I'm just talking to myself about this you guys So the problem was you Yes Yes always actually, yes, I was insecure and I struggled because I was so used to relying and caring about and feeling cared for and feeling protected that the second I was on my own and I had a hard time I'm I wanted that again. So you're right another CG just like the problem is Amanda These are Amanda met Kyle when she was so young then she married him for so long She stayed with him when he was like full-on cheating and lying to her and then a verbally abusing her and emotionally abusing her So this is not someone who has a lot of security This is not someone that like knows her self-worth her self-worth is tied up to how much a man cares about her fucked up It's really bad. I really hope her parents have her. I imagine she's not home alone. I imagine she's with her parents in Jersey But it's gonna be real bad Okay, a lot of you guys agree that you are feeling this right? Oh my god I had a similar situation went back to my ex for emotional support or whatever, but it was shitty I Didn't ever go back to him for an like I went back to him and we went out for dinner one night But like we didn't hook up or anything and then he proposed to me so That didn't go very well Um Let's move on So I don't know I I worry I worry about all of them Sierra I honestly worry about the lease because she's already gone through the hardest part in my opinion She's gonna struggle losing that friendship And I don't know what her career is gonna be like now, but I think she's gonna be on the up and up I think West and Amanda are on the down and down. They're spiraling in a toilet somewhere. If you know what I mean Okay, I Say we move on to the next story, huh? Um and by the way, 1200 people watching the show, I don't know if you're on YouTube or X Thank you so much for being here. Just make sure to subscribe to Daily Dose of Donna follow along like the feed and All of that make sure you're doing that Okay, let's get into this next story this Nancy Guthrie shit you guys it's a joke cue the pink panther theme cue the Inspector gadget theme, okay, we have The blind leading the blind and if you wonder why Nancy Guthrie has not been found it's a mix of a dumbass egotistical sheriff Other investigators and sheriffs that just didn't know what the hell they were doing and And Me I don't I don't want to like say it a hundred percent, but also something really really shady in my opinion some sort of cover up there's something there that we just haven't figured out but Brian Enten flew all the way back to Arizona and we were wondering why like what what is Brian Enten getting in? Arizona that he's not getting you know from wherever he's he's covering it and it's because he actually had a conversation with um with Someone that was on the team one of the high-ups that was on the investigation team and he's completely Hidden away from the world. He's like in shadow Interview style with a voice like this and it's really distracting. I'm like, can you come up with like a little bit of a better light a better voice and It could be sheriff nanos for all we know who knows but here is this little clip from Brian's YouTube shorts So an insider a source close to the investigation the Nancy Guthrie investigation is now speaking out specifically about concerns Related to the beginning of the Nancy Guthrie investigation and the first investigators who arrived on the scene from what you know Were the initial people who responded and experienced the people that were there on the scene um were not tenure You guys I just have to pause I can't take it seriously the people were not on the scene or not turn it like This is the name. This is the words. I mean, this is the voice you choose out of all of them. Can you Couldn't you are pretty different? I don't know. It's it's hard for me. Okay. Anyway, sorry. That's just my personal feeling It's like a Broadway actor Homicide detectives they didn't have a lot of experience in homicide at that point to include a supervisor who From my understanding never investigated homicide before being installed as the supervisor for the homicide unit so wait, so the supervisor who first responded to Nancy Guthrie's house had never investigated a homicide Correct. How was that possible? Let's see. You have Decisions made by people that will install friends and people that can do stuff for them Of course the people that are there on the merit and can do the job correctly I'm obviously concealing that person's identity because they obviously trouble for talking with me I'll have more of the interview coming up on news nation. It's going to be at 10 o'clock eastern tonight thursday night Uh a lot more that that person had to say I went to you. I have to stop you guys something's wrong with me Oh my god, you know why because I just watched the the movie. Um What was it like scary movie? You know the scary movie, um like it's a comedy, right? What what was it? That's the voice he's the voice of the killer. Is that is that I mean I need to see Let me hear You Hold on This is the voice actor, but I want to hear it's ghost face the go Hold on. I'm gonna find it for you guys No, it's not from scream. It's from scary movie. It's the voice from scary movie. It's so funny um Hold on how about this before I I'm gonna share it with you guys. Don't worry. I'm not gonna Hear let's hear you be great bet Dr. Noble Is this it? Thanks, but it's not gonna be easy Four more years at the junior college, you know, I have my two-year degree and then I'll transfer over to stick It's from this move Oh Okay, this is I'm not even sharing with you guys I can't I was trying to watch it, but like it was so Funny the I I'm just watching something that has nothing to do with scary movie. Like I don't know why they showed that to me Oh, it's just so funny. It's the guy that does the voice in scary movie I'm gonna have to find it for you and I'll play it tomorrow or something because I don't want to waste your time anymore As long as I'm doing it Okay, back to brian unten Sorry, it was so funny listening to that voice. Why did they pick that? Nancy Guthrie's investigation was 1000 Led by fools, okay And I'm not saying that they're bad or dumb or Shady or whatever, but they're not they were not right for the job So who does it come down to? Who's like job? Is it to make sure that if you do have a missing persons case or a homicide case or a massive, you know Press situation like everyone all eyes on you. Who's going to handle that? It's nanos's job Isn't it nanos is the sheriff nanos is the person that like Is the is the he's the the head of the snake And they always say whenever you have a bad situation in any sort of department or career or corporation or whatever Always look to the boss, right because the head of the snake is like what's causing the drama so If I were savannah I said this probably months ago But I don't know if savannah would ever do this because that's like her hometown of Tucson But I think any normal person which would go after the sheriff's department And sue the sheriff's department for this horrendous inept Job that they did no one knew what they were doing. It was the blind leading and the blind releasing the crime scene before they even found the blood Are you joking? Like come on you guys everyone can do about it. I would do a better job just from listening to true crime Truly most true crime content creators would understand how to fix that and how to Investigate that case in two seconds and also by the way why the hell is brian Enten telling us that there was no assault taking place in the home of nancy guthrie Why why did we find that out from brian enten and not from the missing persons report Tell me why and tell me how that protects the case in any way If the fbi came out or the police came out day one and say I am Concerned that there is A missing person. We have zero sign of assault in the home. The home is in immaculate condition But the front of the house has blood on the Stoop and the back doors are propped open Did nancy think her own death Is this a sleeping with the enemy situation has anyone considered that theory? That's weird I mean maybe nancy was just like fucking I want to go to vegas Remember that one time that I said, um, she's gonna show up on the next season of Of like a big brother I was just in a home this whole time. I mean it is a little bit wild Clearly it was an inside job and clearly I don't think she ever came home on saturday night And I said that before and I say that again, okay I do believe Then nancy guthrie never made it home after her mahjong night at daughter's house I want that freaking uber driver On news nation. You don't think brian enten has tried to get in touch with the uber driver How many ubers are there in the catalina foothills that he can't figure out who drove nancy guthrie If you are the uber driver or if you know the uber driver in the nancy guthrie case, I will offer you A hefty price to be on daily dose of donna and I will disguise your ass, okay Dark face. I know I'm good this voice I'm telling you it could be amazing Because none of it makes sense Oh, what is this we can do a little background music you could be on my show No, that's sister wives music. Do you guys remember sister wives when I used to talk about that before the show got boring as I wanted something really this is intense applause I Sheriff nanos you're going down Everyone should get a gong on my show every single episode one person should get the gong which means you're done Who gets the gong today? Well, there's a few of them West West gets the first gong and the second gong goes to Amanda And the final gong goes to Sheriff bananas Now let's get into timothy busfield Okay, douche of the day I love it. Oh my god It's like daily dose of donna douche of the day. That's phenomenal. Okay, let's talk about Let's talk about the Timothy busfield story. Okay. I saw a breaking news article front and center on daily mail, of course Are you shocked? And it's about melissa gilbert does an interview about timothy busfield an exclusive And she says in this interview life as we knew it is over Here's a little clip. It's with george stefanopoulos. I'll never forget Seeing george stefanopoulos when I was in vegas. He was there with michael j fox whom I love but george stefanopoulos Comes up to my neck on a good day. Okay, and i'm five feet Here is a little clip of the abc news exclusive What is this whole episode the mike? Hell this has been The most traumatizing experience of our lives um Our life as we knew it is done We are grieving what we had we all of our plans all of our dreams All of our ideas all of our projects For tim it's done. He's cancelled and this will never even if he's exonerated He will always be that guy The last person in the world who would hurt a child and believe me if I Okay, I thought for a second that tim busfield hurt a child. He'd have a lot more to worry about than prison You can't help um I I have some things I want to say about this. Okay Where are we first of all when it comes to the timothy busfield story? If you guys remember he was arrested in january with allegations of child s a And it was about these two kids During his filming of the cleaning lady, which was in albuquerque between november 22nd 22nd and spring 2024 He has denied all of those charges. He turned himself in And then he was released from custody After a couple days or like a week. I can't remember four days. Whatever Um And it was you know, it was like a big moment obviously we all watched it and it was sad for To watch her cry or whatever. She's the wife of this man, but This good morning america upcoming interview that's supposed to air april 6th, you know the today shown They they squeezed out every little piece of juice they could with savannah. So good morning america is like scandal We need a scandal We need a scandal And this is the scandal, right? So of course she comes out and she says this has been the most traumatizing experience of our lives um And she continues to talk about the fact that he is 100 innocent, okay He's the last person in the world who had heard a child. I would like someone's wife To say he's the first person. I know that would let her to child Like I believe the duggers the dugger wives are very much protective over their husbands And they're saying like they're great. They didn't do anything wrong. They're innocent I just see That most wives are going to do this. This is also very much pr It comes after she has taken her rollback as the cco chief creative officer at her lifestyle brand modern prairie Following a brief hiatus to focus on my family amid the ongoing scandal She emphasized that while her work did not distract from the challenges her family has been facing She was deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and prayers. She's received. She talks about how she's gotten so much support you know support for wives of potential child abusers is a lot and I'm just going to say like while we don't it is innocent until proven guilty, okay He has been indicted on four counts of sexual contact with a child by a grand jury The case is being prosecuted by the special victims unit of the berna leo county district attorney's office And that da is pledging to do everything possible to protect children and ensure justice for victims According to the court documents remember they said during therapy The kid said that he had been inappropriately touched by busfield He has vehemently denied the allegations at busfield obviously and there was evidence that it wasn't you know that wasn't strong and specific and Um busfield has always said that these kids Were parents and he felt like the parents were going to come after him etc. etc etc, but busfield is not alone in those claims. I mean He those claims are not his only allegations and that's what changed my mind about this guy he doesn't just have the allegations of the 2022 two kids when they were seven and eight years old in 1994 He had an allegation from an extra on the set of little big league. Okay, you guys 1994 way before the me too movement And this is when he was the director of the movie In 2001 he had an allegation from a woman who said she was touched inappropriately In 2012 another woman accused him of battery in a los angeles movie theater. Then there was the story about um um julia robert eric roberts Wife now i can't remember her name eric roberts wife aliza roberts aliza roberts um and her claims against him which were Really really bad. I don't know if you guys remember this but it was uh, it was back in like a bookstore Here we go in the 80s and The 80s the incident happened in the 80s That he accosted her in a parking lot engaged in aggressive and graphic sexual talk She later submitted a deposition in 1994 when she supported that 17 year old girl who accused him of sh on the set of little big league and called him a creep at the time so And she is still speaking publicly that aliza roberts in 2026 she still spoke publicly about Her experience saying that she wants to help establish a pattern of behavior and that to me is what is really important here is the patterns of behavior When you look at someone and you know just to bring them up we have justin bell donnie And um with a hearing like a zoom or a virtual hearing at 2 p.m. So in a little bit over an hour Today on thursday april third second about the bell donnie and blake lively trial One of the biggest indicators to me that bell donnie was you know that was gearing him towards innocence or This was not an intentional sh or anything like that is because of patterns of behavior You have not once ever heard Someone actually go on the stand or in a deposition or whatever to say that justin bell donnie Harassed him harassed them prior to meeting blake lively blake lively was the first Just the experience on blake lively's movie was the first time that that ever happened Whenever you hear and thank you so much christina. I'm actually gonna take a little screenshot So I have this here is the teleconference information that you can Um access this court hearing in a little over an hour. You cannot record it So I can't livestream or anything. So don't do that um I just think patterns of behavior are very important when you look at Serial criminals or serial great pests or serial abusers like it usually happens more than once it seems rare That this is something that like for example, justin bell donnie went his entire life working on sets being a director Looking the way he looks and then only decided to use that Against blake lively that feels weird. However This bus field story seems to go all the way back 40 years and yes the 80s were 40 freaking years ago. Okay, that's how old our asses are 40 years So now we have an allegation in the 80s. We have an allegation in the 90s We have an allegation or multiple allegations in the 2000s and then the 2010s and now in the 2020s What I don't see those kind of allegations about I mean we see allegations about actors and stuff all the time, but I don't see S. A. Or child abuse type of allegations against every actor on the planet Do you see them about watch? I say it now and then something will come out. Do you see it about George Clooney? No, do you see it about? um Who's left tom hangs No, like there there's certain actors that you don't see that about but then there's actors that are constantly getting these kinds of things weird um Okay, so I I I just feel like There's something there and melissa gilbert playing this victim About like it's all about us or yes, your life has been turned around and that's what happens When the man that you married knowingly has had multiple allegations in the past including with minors Maybe it's worth looking within and wondering about who you marry and i'm not claiming he's guilty. I just Have a hard time believing that he's not guilty of anything anything Do you know what i'm saying? Oh, you guys don't start with tom hangs being a creep now Listen, tom hangs is a little annoying lately with some of his comments, but I just don't think he's a creep in that way. Don't do it to me guys. Don't do it to me um Yvonne it was canyon club not tom tom. I was there that night But was a canyon club you're going back to scantable. No, they but ariana found the text messages And she was walking in the alley In in west hollywood. So canyon club is all the way out in telebassus. I don't think it was But maybe it was um Okay, that is that you guys I gave you a lot Especially the scary movie points What the hell I still can't get over that And tomorrow if things are slow, maybe i'll cover the story that is wild about um The a divorce You guys it's from cbs news host josh elliot and his now x I witness news anchor liz chow I don't know if you guys know about this. I know josh elliot. I don't know liz chow But there are two reporters who are going through a crazy ass divorce right now. This is josh chow And this is um, i'm sorry. This is josh elliot And what's her name again liz and this is liz chow? Beautiful couple. They've been together years and it was a very public marriage that they were, you know, they got married in monocito in july 2020 2015 Etc etc and they are getting divorced right now And it's like rich people's weddings from hell um Or divorces from hell it makes bethanese divorce look real nothing Oh and speaking of syda sylva is getting a divorce too Syda sylva is someone that I could go my entire life with not saying again I don't know why she just speaks bitch to me. She's from real house of new york She's one of the three that lasted the recasting and she's gonna be on the next season Um, she's cold in my opinion She's mean in my opinion And I don't really care for her but her husband did Ask for a divorce Which i'm interested by like i'm actually interested in that story I think he's the moneymaker in that relationship. She makes good money now, but I don't know if she always did And then the final thing um, well danah maria keeps saying donna Please watch the opa show interview about the coldplay woman. I did it. I did a whole recap that day Okay, you guys I love you so much and I'll see you Tomorrow and maybe we'll have even more drama make sure to tune into the Blake lively case situation Love you. Thanks for being here. Talk to you tomorrow. Bye
