Summary

Dave Rubin critiques the Super Bowl halftime show performed by Bad Bunny, arguing it divided Americans by being conducted entirely in Spanish rather than celebrating shared national identity. The episode connects cultural divisions to immigration policy, election integrity concerns, and the SAVE Act, while highlighting a cultural shift where some influencers are pushing back against progressive narratives.

Insights
  • Cultural institutions (NFL, Olympics, entertainment) are increasingly becoming vectors for divisive messaging rather than unifying national experiences, fragmenting shared American identity
  • There is measurable pushback emerging against progressive cultural narratives from unexpected sources (Logan Paul, Jake Paul), suggesting a potential cultural inflection point
  • Immigration policy and cultural assimilation are becoming inseparable issues, with explicit rhetoric from some immigrant communities about demographic replacement and political takeover
  • Election integrity (voter ID, citizenship verification) has become a partisan flashpoint despite 71% Democratic and 95% Republican support in polling, revealing a disconnect between elite messaging and voter preferences
  • Technological advancement (AI, robotics, space exploration) offers potential solutions to national debt and economic challenges, but is being overshadowed by cultural and political divisions
Trends
Decline of shared cultural touchstones: Major national events (Super Bowl, Olympics) losing unifying power as media fragmentation and political polarization increaseDemographic replacement rhetoric becoming mainstream: Explicit statements from political figures and activists about outbreeding and replacing majority populationsWeaponization of corporate platforms: Major corporations using cultural events to advance progressive messaging rather than broad appeal contentGrassroots cultural resistance emerging: Younger influencers and public figures reversing previous woke positions and openly criticizing progressive narrativesImmigration enforcement becoming central political battleground: SAVE Act and ICE operations dominating political discourse with 61% public support for deportationsElection security as partisan divide: Despite overwhelming bipartisan polling support, Democrats opposing basic voter ID requirements, suggesting elite capture of party messagingIslamization concerns in major cities: Explicit statements from religious leaders about demographic and political takeover strategies in American citiesSanctuary city policies creating federal-state conflicts: Blue states openly defying federal immigration law, setting up constitutional confrontationsSpace and AI as economic solutions: Private sector (SpaceX, X.AI) positioning technological advancement as solution to national debt crisisAthlete activism fatigue: Olympic athletes facing backlash for political statements, suggesting public preference for entertainment/sports separation from politics

Previously on The Ruby Let us in please Billy We've always exposed their hypocrisy That looks fun If someone pulled a fire alarm it was the best day you could possibly have We would never want someone like that to be our president My god I've never heard anything better The guy who had the toupee knocked off he won? buenos dias amigos y amigas yo soy dave rubin y este es rubin report from miami Hey, it's February 9th, 2026. We are live streaming in the places that we usually live stream. Yes, I took Spanish in seventh grade, not bad. Thank you, Mrs. Chasen. Don't forget to share, subscribe, tap that notification bell. And quickly people, because lots of people were texting me and tweeting me and adding me over the weekend that they were enjoying the big game with a little tequila. You can go to drinkcopal.com and get the best reposado you've ever had. And you might bump into me over at Chopped Steakhouse in Coconut Grove. I've been swinging by and they are pouring copious amounts of it. And I'm telling you, it is tasty and it will help you get through a halftime show that you might not otherwise understand. Obviously, we're gonna talk a bit about the big game, mostly the halftime show. And I'm not outraged by any of this. I live in Miami. I hear Spanish all the time. I love the Cubans. I love the Venezuelans. I talk about this all the time. These are people largely in this area of South Florida who have fled communist dictatorships. They fled socialist countries. They come here. They love America. They love raising the flag. I'm not against people who speak other languages, but at some point, all of this, the crap being pushed on us culturally and the never celebrating America. Let's not forget, we're in our 250th anniversary right now. You would think that the big game, the thing that we all watch together, one of the few things that can still bring us together, that they might wanna do something a little more sort of pro-America, pro-United States of America in our native language, right? You'd think maybe some of that, but they can't. We'll connect that to a little bit of what's going on with the Winter Olympics, which I didn't even realize had started until this weekend. And I started seeing some of these videos of mostly Olympic skiers complaining about being Americans. Then we'll connect that to obviously some of the deportation and Minnesota stuff. And the SAVE Act, which if Trump does not get through, if the Republicans do not get a backbone like a ramrod, as some old guy used to say, Trump is in an awful, awful lot of trouble. I won't bludgeon you too much with this, but in case you missed it, here is a little bit of Bad Bunny during the big game. Okay, look, again, they did the entire thing in Spanish. 13% of Americans speak Spanish. That is not an attack on anyone that speaks Spanish or anything else. That's just a fact. The halftime show at the Super Bowl should be something that most of us can enjoy. And there's always controversy around it, whether somebody's ripping off, what was it, Janet Jackson's boob thing with the wardrobe malfunction, or somebody doesn't want Britney Spears dancing with the Rolling Stones or whatever. Not the Rolling Stones, it was the other guys, the other old guys, whatever. It doesn't even matter. It's like, what? No, not green. No, no, that was yesterday. Green Day. They really busted those guys out again. What like pot smelling room did they drag them out of? But anyway, there's always controversy around it a bit. But at first, okay, so there is something to be said about we are the United States of America and English is our language. And on a day that we're all watching together and right, there's kids with my kids, three years old. It was, we'd never sit them in front of the TV. We watched the game to the extent that they can sit there and watch. We also got the lightsabers yesterday. So it was a massive Jedi fight. But the point is like, you have families all watching this. Most of these families speak English. Like, just why not do it in English? Unless you're really just trying to like poke us in the eye, just find another thing that can kind of divide us. Now, then he rifles up all these countries, Peru, El Salvador, Bolivia, but okay, nobody cares. Maybe he could have changed the lyrics a little bit and just listed states, United States. That might've been interesting. But a few people did note, because if you don't speak Spanish, you don't know what he's singing about really, that he did alter the lyrics of one of the songs. So one of the songs that he sang, Bad Bunny sang, is that what you'd call it? Rapped, whatever it was. One of the songs was Safara by Bad Bunny. And he did alter some of the lyrics. So I'm going to read you the lyrics in English, because the thing is that if a kid watching this, let's say you got a 12 year old kid watching that thing and they're like, oh, I heard that song. I I don't even know what it means, but now I'm gonna listen to the real one. Well, here's what they would have heard. Now, I do have to warn you. I'm not even gonna challenge Conor on this one, because if I have to have him bleep everything, your finger's gonna actually break. You're gonna hear some choice language right now. So if this is not for you, you gotta mute yourself for the next 45 seconds. If you're with your, you know, if you're watching this, I know a lot of teachers watch the Rubin Report playing for third graders, you might wanna just mute this. Here we go. Watch this, I'll do it like a real newsman here. Real G guiding the new generations with the OG one galactic style lust. Yeah. So that your panties get wet, get horny and versatile, more slutty than Betty Boop. The one who got you horny, mommy was you. I stay killing with the you pussy with dick, dick with ass, push it in. Pussy with dick, dick with ass, push it in. Pussy with dick, dick with ass, push it in. Your tits rubbing my nipples, push it in. put it in. This year I don't want sluts. Push it in. They see you with a lot of jewels and they want to stay. Push it in. First off, my mom loved Betty Boop and I don't think that has anything to do with the Betty Boop that I grew up knowing. Also, your tits rubbing my nipples doesn't even makes sense. Donald Trump was not a fan of the halftime show. Here's what he put on Truth Social. The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely terrible. One of the worst ever. It makes no sense. It's an affront to the greatness of America and doesn't represent our standards of success, creativity, or excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the USA all over this world. This show is just a slap in the face to our country, which is setting new standards and records every single day, including the best stock market in 401ks of history. There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a halftime show and watch. It will be great reviews from the fake news media because they haven't got a clue of what is going on in the real world. And by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new kickoff rule, make America great again, President Donald J. Trump. Look, he's basically right. I'm not sitting here with my panties or my pantalones in a bunch. I'm really not. Other than we have so little that brings us together at this point as a nation, right? Like we are so frayed on virtually everything. We see the same things all the time and we think wildly different things. We have, our political parties are going in absolutely opposite directions. There's so many things fraying us that everybody sitting down to watch that football game, could sit there and not, like the fact that you had to kind of go like this if your kids were watching with some of the dancing, or that it was in another language, or to have to explain what that was to your kids, to the backdrop of some of the things that Bad Bunny has said about ICE and immigration and America and everything else. Like, it's just not good. How about that? How about that for a non-hyperbolic statement? It's just not good, and it's what they are constantly pushing on us. I saw this over the weekend. I thought this was really wonderful. If you wanna see a different version of what Hollywood and music and musicians used to be, watch these two videos. They're from probably, well, the Presley one. It's probably at least 40 years ago. You're gonna see Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton being asked about their political views and, well, it's just perfect. Watch. What is your opinion of war protesters and would you today refuse to be drafted? Honey, I just seem to keep my own personal views about that to myself. I'm just an entertainer, and I really not see it. I'm not getting into any of that because I have a lot of fans out there, and I don't want to offend anybody. And besides, I just don't get into that. And so if you are deciding you may want to ask me something more serious, don't. I have my opinion about everybody and everything. But I learned a long time ago, keep your damn mouth shut if you want to stay in show business. I'm not in politics. I'm an entertainer. And yet you're also a role model. Yes, I am. That's why I don't talk about people. Which is better? Like you tell me, I'm not telling these people to never say anything about anything. I speak for a living. Everyone has a right to speak. I'm not saying the government should stop them from speaking. But why is it that when we, a giant corporation, the NFL, and all of the corporate structures around them, that they went out of their way probably a year ago when they were figuring out what you're going to do, because there's an awful lot of planning that takes place to do for the halftime show. They went out of their way to spit in your face as an American, right? Like they did. Again, that's not me being uppity or racist or anti-Spanish or anything else. It's not. It's like there's opportunities, few and far between, and less than ever before opportunities to bring us all together. Why did they not try that, right? They could have, they could have, but they didn't and they didn't intentionally. I also love the way that Elvis right there, he goes, I'm not an entertainer. And you could, if you watch it again later, he almost goes like this, like I'm not an, he goes, oh no, he says, I'm just an entertainer. I'm just an entertainer like this. And it's true that now he got pulled into things as it pertained to the draft and everything else. And believe me, there was an awful, Go watch Forrest Gump. And you can see that he lived in a time when there was a lot of political craziness. So he, I'm just an entertainer. And that's true. Actors are acting. They are not really doing anything. You don't have to pretend any more than that they're doing what they're pretending to do, that they know what they're talking about, right? And I love that Dolly, so that's one version. So you got Elvis saying, I'm just an entertainer. That's it. I love dancing. I love singing. That's my thing. So I'm not an expert on all this stuff. And then Dolly takes a different tack at it, really. which is that the people that love her have all sorts of views. Whether you love Dolly Parton, like go listen to Jolene. Man, I mean, you can listen to 9 to 5 or watch the movie 9 to 5. She was just phenomenal. But go listen to the song Jolene. And it just doesn't matter what you think the marginal tax rate should be or what you think foreign policy should look like. So she's right. And we used to have more of that. And the truth is things were better back then. I want to jump to this guy. We've mentioned him a couple times on the show. He's boxer. At this point, I guess you call him boxer slash YouTube influencer. Very influential businessman in the culture wars, Jake Paul. He wrote this. There's a couple of interesting things, and you'll see why I'm showing this to you. He wrote, purposely turning off the halftime show. Let's rally together and show big corporations they can't just do whatever they want without consequences, which equals viewership for them. You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime, a fake American citizen who publicly hates America. I cannot support that. Now, he got hit with the community notes there because Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico. And obviously, people from Puerto Rico have been identified as U.S. citizens since 1917. And also, interestingly, Jake Paul himself lives in Puerto Rico since 2021. He was born in America, so he's a U.S. citizen regardless. But he's probably doing that for tax purposes. he then followed up and said, to clarify, I wasn't calling anyone a fake citizen because they're from Puerto Rico. I live in Puerto Rico and I love Puerto Rico. I have used my platform to support Puerto Rico time and again and will always do so. But if you're publicly criticizing ICE who are doing their job and openly hating on America, I'm gonna speak on it, period. That's the same reason I called out Hunter Hess. If you benefit from a country and the platform it gives you, but publicly disrespect it at the same time, that's what I mean by being a fake citizen. And I agree, love is more powerful than hate. love America. So look, I don't care that much about Jake Paul, Logan Paul, or any of these things, but it shows you a little bit of the divide here. And it also shows you the culture is changing because for the last eight, 10 years, whatever it was, we got slammed relentlessly by all of this woke stuff. And there really was nobody pushing back on it. There wasn't. And we do have to understand that the NFL, the NBA, Hollywood, Warner Brothers, they still control the cultural apparatus and everything is downstream from that. Here's Logan Paul being asked, this is his brother, Logan Paul being asked if he was excited for the halftime show. Logan, are you excited for the halftime show? No. Okay, now why am I showing you that? Well, here are these two brothers, super popular, whether you watch them or not. But interestingly, there he is. He's Logan Paul saying, I'm not interested in the halftime show because he knows what it's gonna be. They had already told us it was gonna be Spanish. This is only a week after the Grammys where Bad Bunny was rallying against America and Ice and everything else. But now I wanna show you the shift. And this is the important part. Let's jump back a little less than six years ago. This is in June of 2020 at the height of BLM. And here is Logan Paul. and he was a full on wokester. Watch. Listen closely. One of my biggest learnings from all of this, and I'm embarrassed that it's taken me 25 years to realize this. It is not enough to be not racist. You have to be anti-racist. Yes. Condemn those who feign superiority because of the color of their skin. Friends, hold friends accountable. Hold your family accountable. Hold yourself accountable. And most importantly, we must hold our authorities accountable. Police officers, if you're white, if you look like me, use your privilege. And for those who do not think white privilege exists, you are f***ing blind. You are delusional and you are part of the problem. So now do you see why we're talking about these guys today? First off, how crazy is that? That's that same guy who is now saying he won't watch this because of all the woke nonsense, right? He won't watch the Bad Bunny Halftime Show. there he is at the height of the woke lunacy BLMBS gripped a palooza. I'd also love to know, I don't know that he's ever addressed it. Why is he reading that entire statement word for word? Who put that in front of him and how did that happen? But the point is that five plus years later, he's singing the entirely different tunes. So something interesting is happening in the culture. Now I would argue that we probably are still slow motion losing the culture for a series of reasons. The apparatus, a series of reasons. The apparatus is still largely against us, which is why before the Super Bowl, which is where we all come together, which is a celebration of America's pastime. And America doesn't care if you're black, white, green, blue or anything else. They still chose to have a singer by the name of Coco Jones sing what is known as the Black National Anthem. till victory it's just absurd i don't care about her i don't care the song may be just fine whatever it doesn't matter it would it is no less absurd than if they had the white national anthem or the asian national anthem or the Indian national anthem or anything else. It would just be absurd. At the Super Bowl, we have one national anthem, which is the national anthem of the United States of America, which is a celebration of our country. And to the chagrin of many of these people, we have borders and we have laws and all of those things. And we've given equality to more people than their ancestors could have ever freaking imagined. Now, so they did one thing that was nice. I thought this was nice though, because they did sing the Black National Anthem. However, this year, they did not force white people to wash black people's feet, which was nice. Of course, you remember this from back in 2020, white protesters washed the feet of black protesters and begged for forgiveness in Cary, North Carolina. That was the height of BLM. And you can see, guys, it's like, what has happened? What has happened? Are things getting better or worse? Well, I'm giving you a little bit of both right I showing you clearly things are not headed in the right direction in that the corporations are still going out of their way to push this nonsense on us right This bad bunny bullshit and singing in Spanish Again, it's not against Spanish. It's that it's not the, it's not the language of America and these things, we need some things to bring us together. The black national anthem, that doesn't help. But then I am showing you that there is a pushback against it. And that, that really is the tension that we are at right now. And the tension now is leaking worldwide because the Olympics started over the last couple of days. I literally had no idea there. The Winter Olympics are happening in Italy right now. And of course we've got some just kind of pathetic Americans who just don't seem to be very proud to be doing the coolest stuff possible with our flag on their shoulders. Excuse me, we'll get to that in just a sec, but first cheers health. Guys, as people get older, even a responsible night out can hit differently the next day, especially with early meetings, workouts, travel, or just wanting solid sleep. Wearables like Apple Watch or Aura make it obvious even a couple of drinks can crush sleep quality and next day readiness. That's why Cheers Restore has become a go-to. Cheers Restore is a dual action after alcohol made to support the body beyond just dehydration. It supports both the brain and liver after drinking. Cheers was originally created by a Princeton student researching a compound called DHM, and today it's sold in over 30,000 stores, has appeared on Shark Tank, has thousands of top reviews. Their promise is simple. Feel about 50% better the next day or get your money back. Just take three capsules after the last drink or before bed. This is for normal, responsible adults who want a better morning after a normal night out. For a limited time, listeners get 20% off with code Ruben at cheershealth.com. That's cheershealth.com, code Ruben. All right, so let's connect this to what's happening in the Olympics. The fact, by the way, that the Olympics weren't really obvious to me, I'm wondering, and we'll check in the comments. I mean, how many of you knew the Olympics, the Olympics were even coming? How many did anyone see any video of the opening ceremonies or anything? Like it really, again, it just shows you these, these massive things that used to bring us all together seem to be flitting away. And there may be no way out of that, right? Like the internet has just opened up things. Our attention is pulled in a thousand different ways. Like the things that were old and important may just not hold relevance anymore in some sense, but nonetheless, the Olympics are taking place right now. It's the Winter Olympics in Italy, and I'm gonna show you a couple videos. We're gonna start with Team USA skier, Chris Lillis. And of course he has to express his disappointment over ice. I feel heartbroken about what's happened in the United States when, you know, I'm pretty sure you're referencing ice and some of the protests and things like that. I think that as a country, we need to focus on respecting everybody's rights and making sure that we're treating our citizens as well as anybody with love and respect. And I hope that when people look at athletes compete in the Olympics, they realize that that's the America that we're trying to represent. This is where it's like, shut up and dribble. It's like, shut up and ski. You have a lapel. You have a little pendant right here with the American flag on it. You represent the United States of America. That's not just an idea. It's a physical place with borders. And what ICE and Donald Trump are trying to do are make sure that the people who are inside the very thing that's over your heart right there are Americans, right? So he sort of got it right. We're the Americans to protect American citizens. And then he was like, or any, what did he say something like, or anyone else who loves it or something like that? And it's like, no, no, the only, you're representing America because you're American. But if America was to be say, I don't know, flooded with 21 million illegals, and then you extrapolate birth rates and everything else for certain populations over decades, well, then America won't be America. And then your kid won't get to ski, have the privilege of skiing for his country and wear the American flag because it won't be America anymore. It'll just be, or the American flag will be there, but it just will have no resemblance to the America that we've had for 250 years. But it's a series of them. Here is Olympic skier Hunter Hess, who's very conflicted about representing America, has no problem going there and doing all the stuff and getting all the accolades, but he's very conflicted. It brings up mixed emotions to represent the US right now, I think. It's a little hard. There's obviously a lot going on that I'm not the biggest fan of, and I think a lot of people aren't. If it aligns with my moral values, I feel like I'm representing it. Just because I'm wearing the flag doesn't mean I represent everything that's going on in the US. So yeah, I just kind of want to do it for my friends and my family and the people that support me getting here. So America only represents you when your moral values line up with it. I mean, the beauty of America is that we all have different moral values and America represents everybody as long as you are American. Like, you guys are just so confused or boring. Might I recommend you watch that video of Elvis Presley or Dolly Parton when they ask you? And most other countries, you know, this is also like an American, it's almost a uniquely American experience when these guys do press it's almost only Americans who get asked to comment on their country, right? Like it just isn't. Show me. I mean, we can find, look, we'll look for them. Like show me videos where Canadians are being asked all of these things or where Brazilians are being asked all of these things or Chinese. Imagine a Chinese skier getting up there and being like, I'm not that happy with what's going on in China. Or how about an Iranian skier? Does Iran have a big Iranian skiing team? Sounds like something. And being, going up there and being like, yeah, I'm not that thrilled with the Ayatollah. It's just, and so it's our own, it's our own freedoms in some sense that work against us. That's not a reason to give up our freedoms. Uh, but it is interesting. Let's just show you one more. This is team USA skier, Michaela Schifrin. She's struggling. She's having a struggle session and she wants you to see it. I think there's a lot of hardship in the world globally. And there's a lot of heartbreak. There's a lot of violence. It can be tough to reconcile that when you're also competing for medals in an Olympic event. Well, you might just be proud of your country and you might just say, if you just don't know enough about the issue, you might say, I'm not going to comment on it. I know that an awful lot of people watch the Olympics. So kind of like Dolly Parton, I'm just not gonna make a big deal about this. I'm just gonna go ahead and ski or do whatever I do and represent my country to the best of my ability. But you guys, this is what all these athletes do. And maybe that's partly why people are tuning out of these things. You guys are supposed to just play sports, which for all of the rest of us schmucks who aren't talented enough to do that for a living, even though we all would love to, for all the rest of us, you're supposed to offer us the escape. And then you guys make the foolish, foolish move of trying to lecture us while we're trying to escape from being lectured in every other space that there is. I don't know, sort of like the Grammys. Remember this one? No one is illegal on stolen land. No one is illegal on stolen land. Obviously, that was the main line from the Grammys, which was about eight days ago. And of course, it now turns out that Billie Eilish has not given up her house, which is on ancient Indian lands in Malibu somewhere. She still has a door. She still has a fence and everything else. And in essence, no one is illegal on its own lands is saying the United States does not exist. Nation states do not exist. It's complete drivel. But as Bill Maher points out here on Real Time on Friday night, these people who like to call themselves progressive, meaning we are looking to progress to the future, right? And as I always say, they're just never thinking that there might be a ditch or a chasm that they're gonna have to jump over and they just end up dragging us all to the pit of hell. But they're always progressing that way as if they're forward thinking. And yet the irony is with all of these nonsensical statements, they are constantly stuck in the past. It reminds me of what the Gaza protesters say, from the river to the sea. Well, that means either all of Israelis die which a lot of them would like, that would be their choice. Or they move, all of Israel's going to move. That's not gonna happen. And Los Angeles is not gonna move. And we're not gonna give back New Mexico. We have to deal with the future, not just the past. Okay. I think that's a really good point and I'm gonna try to incorporate it a little bit more. All of these people, think about it. What is a progressive? Why is it that the word progressive would sound more interesting to a young person then the word conservative. Conservative is not cool. What do you mean conserve? I'm going to conserve itself. And there's something before me and the people before me weren't all backwards and everything else. Like, no, I want to progress. I want to evolve even more. That's why progressive is somehow sexy in the minds of young people, right? It sounds like something new and cool, but everything that was back then wasn't old and stupid. And our ancestors, in most cases, were probably way better than us and had to work a hell of a lot harder than we have to do in our like mundanity of modernity that we are stuck in right now, right? So Bill is right. The same people, the same people, they're chanting slogans and they applaud themselves to chant slogans that would only take us back hundreds of years when things were much worse in a sense, right? So what do we do about that? Well, we have to fight. Well, we have to fight for the truth. We have to, it's also why they want to erase history. So many of these people, and we have to relentlessly sell the idea that America and Western values is good. I think there's a way to do it. We'll do that in the next segment, but first TWC Recharge. Okay, so let's show you a commercial from last night. Also in general, I didn't think the commercials were that great. The prostate commercial was kind of funny. That was after halftime. So a lot of people were barely paying attention at that point. I didn't think anything was that great or that funny. I wish they were. I'm not, believe me, I'm not watching these things, even the half-type show, I'm really not watching these things to then do the show the next day and, I'm yelling, old man yelling at a cloud, I'm really not. Like, I want to go in and watch these things and be pleasantly surprised. Like, right before bad money went up there, that's what I said to the people I was with. I was like, I would love to not have to do a show about this stuff, like, let him surprise me. Imagine if he came out singing in English, imagine if they were running around with American flags, imagine if there had been some celebration about 250 years of this country or something, But OK, fine. Not how it is. However, here was one pro-ICE Super Bowl commercial. They're friends and neighbors, sons, fathers. They're little league coaches and veterans. They're people who love this country. These are immigration and customs enforcement officers. They are removing violent criminals from our streets and neighborhoods. It's dangerous and difficult work. But ICE has one mission, to make America a safer place to live. and that's what they're doing. This is law enforcement. This is ICE. You know, I always say when we're talking about ICE stuff that these are, do you think any of these guys wake up in the morning like, oh, I wanna go kill people. Oh, I wanna go fight with American citizens and have horrible racial things said to me. Like we showed you a couple of days ago where they started going off on a black ICE officer and calling him a house N-word. Or I want ICE to be thrown at me. or I want to have to, you know, I want a car to be drove into by a colleague or like none of these things. That commercial is true for probably 99% of the officers. Are there a couple of bad apples? Well, there probably are. But for probably 99% of these guys, 99 out of 100 of these guys, they are normal everyday American citizens, probably some of whom were in other departments of law enforcement in different cities and states. And they come to do this job so that their communities are safer because we know that a lot of these illegals have been raping women and killing people and bringing drugs into our streets. And everything the Democrats have done has been to lie about them and demonize them and potentially get them killed. And despite all of that, the numbers actually, when you look at the actual polling as it relates to ICE and deportations, still favor Trump. They still favor Trump. And that's why the Democrats are going so crazy with the rhetoric. So here's this girl, Lydia Moynihan. We played a clip of her on Abby Phillips' show the other day, really smacking Abby around with some basic truth. And here she does it again. Trump's number one issue still is immigration. And 61% still support deporting illegals. 58% oppose defunding ICE. So, look, the reality is when you have 10, 20 million people who come in here and your edict is to implement the largest mass deportation in history, there's going to be some messy moments. That's just true, right? You're going to break some eggs when you make an omelet. There was no way to do this perfectly. I think you could probably make an argument that if it had not been for the Democrats' psychotic messaging, if it had not been for the NGOs that are pumping all of the money into these activists and it hadn't been for the, you know, well, Abby Phillips types and the Jimmy Kimmel types and everything else, this would be going smoothly. Because, by the way, ICE operations are taking place in probably all states right now. Why is it that we don't see this out of Florida, for example? It's because we're working with them. That way it doesn't cause the chaos. We're also a state of law and order, so the protesters are less likely to block a street, et cetera, et cetera. But this is being done all over the place. The focus right now is on Minnesota. Obviously, well, it's also because of the giant money laundering scandal involving Tim Walls and Elhan Omar and everything else, but it's because they have so ramped up the rhetoric right there. But she points out 61% of Americans are still for deporting illegals. That's a pretty significant number right there. That's a higher number than the people, than the percentage of people who voted for Donald Trump in the first place. Here is Timu Obama, Hakeem Jeffries, again, just just lying. But this but they get people on optics. Know that ICE is completely and totally out of control. They've gone way too far. And the American people want them reined in because immigration enforcement should be fair. It should be just and it should be humane. So dramatic changes are necessary to the manner in which the Department of Homeland Security officers are conducting themselves before any funding bill should move forward. All right, Dana, as you know, not a big fan of you. You've lied about me on your show and yet you've never had me on or offered to have me on. But might I recommend just as an interviewer, instead of just sitting there with the sort of soulless look in your face, when he says that ICE is completely and totally out of control, can you ask for some examples? when he says that they should be more humane and just, could you say, well, how would you like them to behave when mobs of people have taken over the streets, when they have whistles being blown right in their ears, when people are calling them all sorts of things, when they're blocking their way, when they're literally showing up at the hotels that the ICE agents are sleeping in so that they can't even get out, when, I don't know, maybe an ICE agent's having his finger bitten off, when they're breaking into ICE cars and quite literally stealing guns. These are all things that we have shown you video of. You might want to say that, but all they do, all he does is just give you bumper sticker stuff. ICE is completely and totally out of control. How would you do it better? You wouldn't do it better because you want these people here because you want to flood the country with a bunch of people who are illegal so you can change the census and ultimately have all these people vote, which is why you don't want people to have IDs at the polling places. Yeah, that's true. my friend Michael Knowles over at the Daily Wire, like Michael a lot. He's a strange fellow though. He goes, he does a show over there on the Daily Wire. What's the name of the show? It's not the Michael Knowles show. It's another show that he does. An extra show that he's doing where he gets in like a bar atmosphere and he sits down with these little, these little kind of asexual weirdo progressive types. You might recognize him. These are just like these 20 year old nothings who have become progressive activists who are paid often by the DNC to say these things. The show is called Bar Fight, pretty good name for a show, and they do it at a bar with a live studio audience. And Noel sat down with two of these kids, and they're just like clone soldiers of each other. They just the exact same thing And here they are discussing what going on with ICE and what the federal government should do I mean we clearly seeing the majority of ICE agents in these blue states It clearly for political gain I mean, Donald Trump is sending ICE agents into places like Minnesota, which is historically close to the southern border. That's right there, isn't it? I'm aware. And furthermore, furthermore. Hold on, just to the... These blue states and these blue cities are openly declaring themselves sanctuary cities and states. They are saying, we want illegal aliens to come here. And you're shocked that the border patrol and ICE will go in and say, well, maybe we'll arrest those illegal aliens where they say that they are. Wait, wait, so you believe that the role of the federal government is to- To enforce federal immigration law. Yes, I do. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Even against the will of states and against the will- Yes, it's federal law. There's a supremacy clause in our constitution. Has somebody on this show been mentioning the supremacy clause over and over and over for a month? Have I read it to you 20 times, right? Like, these kids, they're children. They're children, but this is all the Democrats have left. I'm putting this out here right now. I have said this many times. When I was on the left, you know, 10 years ago, I used to welcome people on the right on the show. And what I always found was even when I disagreed with them, people on the right could thoughtfully make their arguments. They were pleasant. They were much nicer. They were fundamentally nicer, kinder, more generous of spirit than anyone that I knew on the left, almost without exclusion, right? But I would sit down with these people on the right and I would get endless shit from people on the left. You're talking to the Nazis and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It is almost impossible to get people on the left. The only Democrat I can get on this show is Ro Khanna, who I'm endlessly unimpressed with, but Ro, you're welcome back anytime, really. But I won't pretend that I'm impressed with you. That's the difference, I would suppose. But what's happening, I think, in a lot of these internet debate things is there's no one left to debate with on the left. There really isn't. So then instead you have to get these children. These are children who have accomplished nothing in life other than be activists for the Democrat party. And by the way, you're both white. I assume you're both gay, but like you're on the way out soon enough with these people. Anyway, anyway, it continued. You just said, Harry, that Renee Good was murdered by an ICE officer. Do you not think that being hit by an SUV is a justification for using deadly force? If you're looking at the footage frame by frame, and I saw you get walked by Adam Mockler on this. Can you be quiet? Oh my god. What was how did I get okay? How did I get walk? Well, I'm up here. You're over there I meant to be talking Harry. Here's a question. Did Renee good Did Renee good hit the officer with her? Wait, wait, wait the if you look at the frame by frame You don't you don't need a parent Michael if this is a more yes or no You would agree that this is more nuanced. I would not agree with that. Did this woman hit the officer with her SUV? Her SUV bumped the officer which still does not justify bumped him with a Michael, Michael, Michael, Michael, Michael, if I tapped you on the shoulder right now, can you shoot me in the face? If you tapped me with your SUV, I probably would. Yeah. Yeah. Knowles. Yeah. I mean, it's just, I'm only showing you that because it sort of shows where the level of debate is at the moment there because the left is incapable of debating, right? So they call you names or they just say these insane, like literally tapping someone on the shoulder is same as tapping them with the SUV. It's just utterly insane. And yes, the federal government has a right to defend federal immigration law. And yes, Donald Trump is actually doing the thing. Maybe that's what's shocking to these little children so much. Donald Trump is actually doing what he promised to do. You know, those guys would be good in your little Lord of the Rings movie. They're little guys. I feel like if you throw a little hair on their feet, they'd be great in that little shire with those guys dancing around doing all that stuff. But joking aside for a second, the thing that has now happened that's out of control with the left, that there's the cultural part of it and we can never say anything's good about America. If we try to defend our laws and our customs and culture and way of life, they tell us we're racist and all of these things. What all of this does eventually becomes so toxic that things could really, really get out of control. You know, my other show that I'm really glad to see you guys have been watching, the actual Friends show that I do with Dr. Drew and Jillian Michaels and Sage Steele. One of the things we've been talking a lot about lately is there are so many videos right now and it's often of nurses because generally nurses are younger females, but it's not just nurses, people in all different disciplines talking about how they will not perform their duties if they find out someone is a MAGA or a Trump supporter or an ICE agent or something like that. And I went to the doctor the other day and I was drawing blood. It was no big deal, but I was drawing blood. And for the first time in my life, I swear this is true, for the first time in my life, I thought, if this, I'm here in Florida, where obviously we're gonna have a saner set of people, but whatever. You know, if this nurse that's inserting this into my arm right now, if she happens to know who I am and doesn't like me and she's one of these people, would she not just needle me a little bit more to hurt me? Would she, oh, you know, that vein didn't work. I'm gonna have to do it again over here. Like, that's the level. We're seeing these videos where they're outwardly saying it. So what happens when you have enough of this toxicity in the system, when you allow mobs to take over and calls for genocide and all these things, when you allow enough of that into the system, what could happen? Well, here is legendary lawyer Jonathan Turley talking about how a bit of this, well, it's starting to get kind of French revolutionary. It is a cautionary tale of what destroyed the French Revolution were many of the same types of voices we're hearing today. I think these are riots. They are people who are inebriated by rage. It's also caused by these politicians who are so similar to what I describe in the book in France. They are so much like these figures that enabled the mob in France and then ultimately were themselves guillotined and devoured essentially by the revolution. We're certainly seeing that. I don't think we're at an insurrection. So history kind of repeats itself. Did I just come up with that phrase? Like these kids, like what do you think is going to happen to you? Queers for Palestine, what do you think it is going to happen to you when you usher in some sort of Islamo-fascist regime here? You're going to get beheaded, right? Like that is how it's going to work. How do you think you two little hobbit freaks who were with Knowles there, What do you think is going to happen to you at the end of the day, whether you're queer or whatever, when you're just white at the end and privileged? They will take you out to the revolution eats its own. That's how it works. And we have now ushered in. And then to the backdrop of what Jonathan's talking about there, he says they become inebriated. It becomes like a fever dream with these people. They actually, these activists are out on the streets thinking that they're fighting Nazis. And little do they know that they have far more in common with the Nazis than the people they are fighting. And now I wanna show you how this has leaked into virtually everything. This is wild, this video. This guy needs to step down immediately. And he's from Texas, which I can't even believe. This is a guy, his Texas representative, Gene Wu. And he's very excited that a group of minorities are gonna take over the whitey because whitey is oppressive. I always tell people the day the Latino, African-American, Asian, and other communities realize that they share the same oppressor is the day we start winning. Because we are the majority in this country now. We have the ability to take over this country and to do what is needed for everyone and to make things fair. But the problem is our communities are divided. They're completely divided. God, these people, when I tell you about that thin veneer, take over this country and do what is needed to make fair for everyone. Dude, guys, that is Marxism. That is communism 101. And I love how he's trying, you know, he happens to be Asian. I don't know what denomination of Asian he is. I don't really care. But are you stupid? Are you stupid, motherfucker? Are you stupid? Because Asian people largely, whether they're Korean or Chinese or Japanese or anything else, are successful. And do you know why they're successful in America? Because America's been a meritocracy. And Asian culture teaches family. And Asian culture teaches education. And Asian culture teaches hard work. And that's why whoever brought you here to this country, they brought you here and they busted their asses. And now you get to represent Texas, where you can call for the revolution of Asians and blacks and Latinos to overthrow the oppressive white man. And we just allow it, right? This is the problem that we're up against right now, guys. None of us know exactly what to do about this. I don't want to jail that guy. He has every right to say what he wants. So I suppose all you can do is mock them and belittle them and pray that calmer heads will prevail. But what is he talking about? If black people, Asians and Hispanics join together, they can make everything fair. It's low resolution, racist drivel. And he's only including Asians in that because he wants a little bit of that, he wants a little bit of that woke grift, right? Because you guys, yes, you could take out the whites now, you moron, but they're coming for the, well, they'll come for the Indians after, well, how are they gonna do it? It's Jews first, right? So there's a lot of shit. They're always going after the Jews. Knock out the Jews, then we got the whites and the whites will basically kind of go pretty easily because whites are generally kind of Christian and nice. So you take out the Jews, that's gonna be a pain in the ass because a lot of people have tried to take out the Jews over the last couple thousand years, Jews are still here. They're working on that one. Then you knock out the whites. Then you gotta deal with the Indians. And then you gotta deal with the Asians. So you're working to crush your own family. It reminds me of when I had Ro Khanna on the show, who happens to be from an Indian family and his children are Indian. And he's going on and on about how he wants affirmative action. I was like, so you're telling me you want schools in the state to discriminate against your own children? And he couldn't answer the question because none of it makes sense. You are playing with fire, you weirdos. We've shown you this video before, but I just really want to grind down on this point for a moment. This is this guy, Wahajwat Ali. I've debated him on Piers Morgan, really unimpressive person. But here he is just basically explaining that they are here to replace you and they'll tell you that right to your face and you're going to do nothing about it. You've lost. You have lost. You lost. The mistake that you made is you let us in in the first place. See, that's the thing with brown people. And I'm going to say this as a brown person. There's a lot of us. Like a lot. There's like 1.2 billion in India. There's more than 200 million in Pakistan. There's like 170 million in Bangladesh. Those are just the people there. I'm even talking about the folks who are expats or immigrants. There's a bunch of us. And we breed. We're a breeding people. And the problem is, is you let us in in 1965. There were a few of us beforehand. But once you let one of us in, you know what happens with brown folks? Our grandmother comes. Our grandfather comes, our uncle comes, our aunt comes, our cousin comes, our second cousin comes, our third cousin comes. Then we have kids, a bunch of kids. And then guess what? Some white women, you know, the Western civilization women, the pure women, the American women, quote unquote, the Rust Belt women, the real women. They like some of us brown folks. We don't take them. They come to us. So is that the type of person that we should have in America? Put aside his anti-American beliefs. I mean, his obsession with skin color and race. Like, that's not what America is all about. And he's telling you, we're here to replace you. We're here to outbreed you. We are going to do it. And great. You know, I just realized, Joseph, you're Asian. Could you approach the desk here? Yep. This is Asian, Joseph. Are you going to, and this is important just for me to know, just for the future of your career and everything, are you going to ally, form allyship, let's say, with the Hispanic community and the black community to take out the white people. Because if you're going to do that, it just would affect maybe like a Christmas bonus gift or... Yeah, I would never do that. You're just going to work hard here in America and try to make it on your own? Yep. You've got a job as long as you want here at the Rubin Report. Look at that. See, we build bridges here. Okay. See, look, and see, Connor's white. And look how relieved you are right now. You thought he was coming to get you. I cleaned it up. A guy who I like a lot, actually, we haven't had him on the show yet, but we got to get him, is Brandon Gill. He's actually, I mentioned it a few days ago, he's actually Dinesh D'Souza's son-in-law, married to Dinesh D'Souza's daughter. He's a congressman out of Texan. And here he explains that Texan could be for Texans and that wouldn't be so terrible. He doesn't want all of the Pakistanis like Wahajat we just showed you over there. And because it starts feeling like we're in another country. I hear from constituents all the time who are deeply and desperately concerned about the Islamization of the Dallas area. They're hearing about mosques that are popping up near land that they or their family have owned for generations. They're hearing about these epic city compounds that are popping up where you have entire communities who are being transformed. When you hear about constituents talking about going to their local malls and you look around and it feels like you're in Pakistan, not Dallas, Texas, that's a problem. and you're seeing our communities, our culture, the place that we know and love here being fundamentally transformed in my constituents and are concerned and I'm concerned. So you know that when a certain set of people hear something, they go, you're racist, you're racist. But is it racist to want your community to stay like it was? Now things change, right? Things change over time for sure and things undergo economic transformations and they do go under communities moving around. And as one community rises, let's say gets out of the lower economic status and they move more towards the middle class, a new community comes in. And that's kind of what the exchange has been for generations in America. The problem that we are having right now is we are importing people who are telling us, quite literally telling us, that they are here to take over, not to fold into the fabric of America, not to be part of the melting pot of America, not to thank God to get on their knees and thank God they live in the freest place in the world. They are coming here to tell us that they will use our system against us until they are ruling. But don't take my word for it. Here is an imam, an Islamic imam in Texas. Brandon Gill is a representative in Texas. Will you tell me what you would do if this guy's in Texas? What should Texas do? The election of somebody like Mamdani it is a game changer. We need somebody like Mamdani to be the mayor of New York. And that is a victory for the ummah. I'm jumping the gun here, but this is one of the narrow-minded that needs to break here. And the guy tried, not once, not twice, eight times to shut our project down. I don't want to go into all the details because of time. He failed miserably at every single level. And the project is still going full steam ahead. Our biggest weakness is our percentage in this country. We are very disadvantaged. By the way, this is only in this country. Sweden, 10% Muslim. Oslo, Norway, 10% Muslim. Oslo, of all places. Vienna, the Ottoman Turks tried 200 years, they couldn't do anything. Vienna is 10% Muslim, mashallah, 10% Muslim. England, London, it is estimated 20%. What do we do? They're telling us, this guy is supposedly an American running a mosque. I don't know what sort of religious values people are learning from this guy, but he's telling you, oh, we will take over like we've taken over in these other places. He's very proud that Sweden is less Swedish. He's very proud that London is now 20% Muslim. And as I keep saying, Buckingham Palace will be run by jihadists in 20 years. Do you want that in America? And what are we supposed to do, right? Like we have the first amendment and you have right to conscience and you have right to assembly. We have these things and our freedoms are now being used against us and it's being ushered in via illegal immigration, via the education system that's teaching us that we're fundamentally bad. And these people who are just saying, we're just going to outbreed them and we are going to win. And they're kind of right. Now he's very proud about Zorhan Mondami, who has only been mayor for a little over a month at this point. And it is getting worse by the moment. I'm going to blow your mind in just a second. We're going to first show you Mamdami, this is just over the last couple of days, talking about how he will continue to fight ICE and watch him quoting the Koran and suddenly speaking in Arabic, which I don't remember him doing that much of when he was running. But OK, we will make it clear once again that ICE will not be able to enter New York City property without a judicial warrant. that means our schools our shelters and our hospitals that means we will protect New Yorkers' private data from being unlawfully accessed by the federal government and stand firmly against any effort to intrude on our privacy the story of the Hijrah reminds us that Prophet Muhammad was a stranger too who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina Surah Nahl 1642 tells us, As for those who immigrated in the cause of Allah after being persecuted, we will surely bless them with a good home in this world. Or as the Prophet Muhammad said, Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange. So glad tidings to the strangers. I seriously could barf listening to this as someone that spent most of my formative years in New York City and was there for 9-11 and everything else. He is there to Islamize the city and destroy the city. They're ushering it in with communism, sold with a smile, and you can see what he's actually ushering in. Now you might say, Dave, this is just over the top and so what? So what? He's mentioning the Quran and he swore in on the Quran and everything else. the Quran, which by the way, means to submit. So is he submitting to the constitution of the United States or is he submitting to the will of Allah? You tell me, but all right, he told an interesting story about Mecca and Medina right there. Benjamin Weingarten, who works at the Federalist, he wrote this to clean it up a little bit. And you tell me what's going on here. Mamdani invokes the Hydra to justify his open borders policy. The Hydra literally refers to the journey of Muhammad and his followers from Mecca to Medina. That's what Mamdani was saying. At Mecca, they were unsuccessful in their efforts to peacefully Islamize via Dawah. When they got to Medina, they transitioned to violent jihad to forcibly convert non-believers, and just years later, Muhammad's army would conquer Mecca. Screenshot her in shows how one Islamic scholar describes it. Meanwhile, hijra is understood today as a form of jihad by immigration that leads to Islamization of non-Islamic lands, including through refugee resettlement. I believe this might be the most perfect example of telling us the quiet part out loud. They are here to destroy America. They are going to destroy New York City. I see no way that they stop him at this point. And guess what, Texas, you got a huge trauma. And by the way, we have problems with these mosques in Florida too. What are we going to do? Well, the problem is they've so, the left has so taken over the culture that they are brainwashing a generation of kids. It sort of gets us back to what I was saying. I didn't really want my kids to be watching. They're three. They don't know what the hell is going on. But like to be watching the halftime show, it's like, what is all of this? Well, here's video. You can roll it because I don't think there's audio. These are kids in Waukajin, Illinois, and they did a school walkout holding the Mexican flag. Do any of these kids know why they are doing that? Are they telling us that Mexico is a better place than America? Has America been unfair to them? They all seem to have nice jackets and nice clothes. Where are the teachers? Oh, well, look, there's half an American flag. That's pretty good. How'd that get in there? That guy's gonna probably get suspended. But like, what the hell is going on here? And as an interesting note, the city of Wakajin went from 93% white to now 17% white. So when that Wajahajat freak tells you that we are here to replace you and outbreed you and your women love us and everything else, well, I guess you gotta give him credit for telling the truth, telling the truth. And I'm not saying that a city has to be 90% white or I don't, I have no idea what the actual skin color or even cultural makeup is in Miami. Miami happens to be a huge, huge melting pot, right? They call us North South America, right? Because we're sort of, we're at the lowest end of America, right? And we're at the top of South America. And because we're such a mix and it's interesting, it's a wonderful place to live because people have folded into America first. We don't have all of this other nonsense, but what are we going to do about it? Well, culturally, I'm trying the best I can, and that's what you have to try, right? But politically, we better damn well pass this SAVE Act, and Trump's got a limited time to force this thing through right now, and they better do the nuclear option. I have a bad feeling they're not going to do it because while Democrats suck and blow, Republicans just suck. And here is, I thought this is from a couple of years ago, but I think it perfectly illustrates the screwiness of the Democrat position because they can't explain anything, literally cannot explain anything. So you may remember this one. It's from, I think, about two years ago. Kamala Harris, a woman who had a soft coup against the sitting president of the United States and then almost became president herself. She was asked why she's against photo IDs. Is agreeing to voter ID one of those compromises that you'd support? I don't think that we should underestimate what that could mean. Because in some people's mind, that means, well, you're going to have to Xerox or photocopy your ID to send it in to prove you are who you are. Well, there are a whole lot of people, especially people who live in rural communities, who don't, there's no Kinkos, there's no Office Max near them. People have to understand that when we're talking about voter ID laws, be clear about who you have in mind and what would be required of them to prove who they are. Of course, people have to prove who they are, but not in a way that makes it almost impossible for them to prove who they are. All right, guys. So people in rural areas can't get to Kinko's or OfficeMax. They don't know how to Xerox or photocopy things. We hear this constantly, that if we have photo ID, somehow black people won't be able to figure out how to do this thing. As I mentioned last week, I have consistently over the years seen black people on planes. It's incredible. But you know what? Here's what we're gonna do with the Ruben Gord, because you know me, I don't like just talking about things. It's one thing to just talk about things. I like doing things. So we have an extra printer here at the office. This is a beautiful Hewlett Packard printer here, which I believe has a, what Kamala refers to as a Xerox function, can both scan and print. It's light. It's nice. It's got these soft edges. You're not going to, you know, whack yourself with it. I believe we have the wires, we've got the USB wire or whatever else might come with it. What I would like to do is if you are a rural, I'll speak a little slower for them. If you're rural somewhere, and that means outside of a city, if you can't get to a Kinko's or an OfficeMax, if you're black and the Democrats say you don't know how to get an ID or to how to photocopy something, we would like to send this printer we'll send not only we will send the printer i'm gonna from dave rubin there we go put this right here you can photocopy that send it to your whole look it's got some sort of i didn't even know what i don't know what this is we've got some sort of thing here that slides up and down it's got a little bit of everything i want to send this to a rural and or black person Ideally a rural black person. If you are rural and you're black, I got a black printer for your ass, okay? There we go. Donald Trump on Truth Social with a little sense as it comes to this American election situation. America's elections are rigged, stolen, and a laughingstock all over the world. We're either gonna fix them or we won't have a country any longer. I'm asking all Republicans to fight for the following Save America Act. One, all voters must show voter ID, identification. Okay, that sounds pretty good. Two, all voters must show proof of citizenship of the United States to register for voting. Okay. Three, no mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military, or travel. Guys, again, low-hanging fruit. Show an ID to get an ID. Prove that you live in the United States. And then let's not have what has obviously become completely fraudulent because it was ushered in during COVID, this ridiculous system of mail-in balloting and drop boxes and everything else. so all of that makes sense i can't wait to send this printer out again if you are black i don't want any white rural person doing it black and in you know you're out there in iowa or something you can't get to a kinko's dave rubin's gonna save you uh here are videos of uh schumer ship and raskin just a trio of not great people explaining that to ask these very basic things these very basic ways to identify yourself, that it's actually a form of oppression. Polling does suggest, there's a new Pew Research poll, that 95% of Republicans, but also 71% of Democrats like this idea. So why do you not? It's Jim Crow 2.0. And I called it Jim Crow 2.0, and the right wing went nuts all over the internet. That's because they know it's true. You've just asked this essentially. Republicans have created distrust of the elections by making non-existent by making claims of non-existent fraud in the elections. And shouldn't we use the distrust they've created in order to enact a voter suppression law, which is the Save Act, which would require people to have a birth certificate or passport? Well, look, first of all, this is not a problem that people are identifying or recognizing in the states. the states and local governments are perfectly capable of identifying when there are problems. I'm sorry, guys. These people are trying to destroy the United States. I read to you last week a bit about what the Jim Crow laws were, and they were a two-tiered system of justice for black and white people, bad for black people. This is to make sure that we have voter integrity. The fact that they don't think that you should, everyone has a birth certificate or something to prove that you are who you are and then get a license. Again, they think these people can't get printers. They think these people can't get to a Kinko's. They think these people can't get a birth certificate or a passport. And it's not that they actually think that. It's that they want fraud in the system so that they can keep winning elections. Like, it's not controversial. John Fetterman, who once had brain damage and now is the only sane Democrat, he had this to say. And now me as a Democrat, I do not believe that it's unreasonable to show ID just to vote. And I remind everybody that less than a year ago in Wisconsin, you know, they added that to the Constitution by a 63 percent, you know, passing. To put that in the Constitution, that you have to show ID to vote. Guys, we've often showed you the list of countries in the Western world where you have to show ID to vote. and it's everybody. It's everybody except, you know, some of our blue states. This is completely and utterly absurd. And let's not forget that everything the Democrats are now saying is completely the reverse of what they were saying back in 2016. Here is a man who does make sense on CNN, Scott Jennings, explaining that to a bunch of dullards. So there are already some federal requirements on states to try to engage in some best practices. For what purpose? to give people confidence that the election is running fairly. Now, at the beginning, we talked a little bit about, you know, people believing that elections have been stolen. It's not just 2020. A majority of Democrats in this country think the 2016 election was stolen, and I suspect a great many Democrats still think 2004 and 2000 were stolen as well. So this is a problem that has plagued both parties, the idea that they don't believe the outcome of elections. But what never happened after 2004 was an insurrection at the Capitol. in 2016, there was proof that there were external foreign agitators that were targeting certain types of... No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah. See, like, lady, let's say you are right. Let's say you are right. There were certain foreign agitators who had something to do with Donald Trump winning back in 2016. So you guys are still doing that in 2026. Okay, so let's say you're right. Wouldn't that be more of a reason you would want to make sure that when someone votes in one of our elections, there is proof that they are who they are. I used to live in California. To vote, all I had to do was know my name and my address. So I quite literally could have walked in and said, hey, I'm Dave Rubin. And if I knew what my neighbor's name and address was, which I often did, if I could have just showed up a few hours later with a different poll guy right there, I could have said I was him. Does that make sense? Does that make sense to anyone? And why are these people all defending it? If your argument is you want the safest elections possible, the only way you could have safe elections is with some system to ensure that the people who are voting are who they say they are. But let's not end a Monday show with that. Let's end a Monday show. Instead, you know, politics can really just make you just sort of never look up, right? And there are so many great things happening in the world right now. We are on an AI and robotics, the precipice of an AI and robotics revolution that is going to fundamentally alter the world. And while I am always worried about all the dystopian potentials, there is incredible opportunity for unbelievably unimaginable things to happen. And Elon Musk is trying to lead us into something that will be very, very cool as opposed to racist and backwards and moronic what was the point of the doge cuts if the economy is going to grow so much well i think like waste and food are not good things to have you know um i i was actually pretty worried about i i guess uh i mean i think in the absence of ai and robotics we're actually totally screwed uh because the national debt is piling up like crazy. Now, our interest payments, the interest payments to national debt exceed the military budget, which is a trillion dollars. It's the only thing that could solve the national debt. Like we are 1000% going to go bankrupt as a country and fail as a country without AI and robots. Nothing else will solve the national debt. Okay. So we have huge amounts of debts. Doge was a little ding in it. We're taking care of some fraud. It's a little bit of a ding, But what he's saying there is technology, robots, AI could actually solve a lot of this, right? Like there's something interesting going on here. So let's further that just a bit more. This is founder, chairman, and CEO of Altimeter Capital, Brad Gerstiner. Here he is with the all-in guys explaining a little bit about some of the restructuring that Elon's companies are going through. You might have heard about this. Basically, SpaceX, getting us to the rockets, is now going to merge with XAI. This is where the robots are being built. And there's basically going to be a giant super corporation working on solving some of the world's problems. I don't know. Sounds good to me. SpaceX is merging with X.ai. You're merging the two biggest TAMs in the world, right? All of artificial intelligence and all of space together with the world's greatest entrepreneur. And he said, you know, there was a podcast he did this morning with Cheeky Pine, our friend John Collison, where he said, I'm going to have data centers in space in 30 months, right? And if you're going to have a massive cost advantage with data centers in space, and remember, power is the proxy. Power is the primitive to AI. So Elon's working on data centers in space. Like he's working on stuff. It's not just that he tried to do a little bit of stuff here. Okay, we're going to give you the Tesla. It's pretty cool. Now he's not even, I actually just got a new Model X because it's the freaking coolest, most amazing car on the planet. It sounds like he's gonna be phasing them out altogether. They're not even making Model Xs anymore after this last batch because he's focused on robotics and AI. We're gonna have data centers in space. We're gonna start building space stations. We're going to start doing interplanetary travel. You know, he's talked a lot over the years about getting us to Mars. They are slightly making an adjustment. I thought this was actually super interesting from Elon. Listen to this. For those who are unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20 plus years. The mission of SpaceX remains the same, extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars. It's only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months and a six month time trip, whereas we can launch to the moon every 10 days and a two day time trip. This means we can iterate much faster to complete a moon city than a Mars city. That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a city on Mars and begin doing so in about five to seven years. But the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization. And the moon is faster. I did not know about that, that Elon had been planning this shift. It came as a surprise to an awful lot of people. But you can obviously get to the moon. The moon is obviously much closer. I don't exactly understand the alignment issue as it relates to getting to Mars. But we can get to the moon faster. We can then once, imagine, we start building. You know, we were, I don't think we've been on the moon since, can someone check me on this? It's 1971. I mean, it's, it's actually crazy when you think about it. We had this incredible race to the moon with the Russians and then I'm pretty sure it was 1971. It's the last 72. Well, well, there we, well, the show is ruined people. Like it's really remarkable. So we're going to get there and then we'll have 3d printers and we will start literally building cities. And then eventually those cities will be launching points to get us to other planets. and everything else. Like, it's so cool. We're on the precipice of all of that. And meanwhile, half the country is fighting, you know, pretending that America is evil and we're racist and everything else. However, you watch this show, which as I am told is a show for normal people. Look at the scribbles that I have to do when I'm talking about Democrats. Nobody, we should, it's like a Rorschach test for insanity with the... Thank you for watching. We've got a post-game show in 30 seconds at rubinreport.locals.com. you
