Summary

Max B and French Montana discuss Max's release from an 18-year prison sentence, his music comeback, and debates about New York hip-hop rankings. The episode covers Max's transition back to civilian life, his new album 'Cosmo Brothers' dropping on his birthday, and extensive discussions about who deserves placement in top New York rapper lists.

Insights
  • Incarceration doesn't diminish artistic relevance—Max B maintained cultural currency while imprisoned and emerged with immediate chart success, suggesting fan loyalty transcends time gaps
  • Longevity and consistency matter more than peak popularity in legacy rankings—artists with 20+ year careers should outrank those with 3-4 year runs in cultural hierarchies
  • Post-prison reentry requires psychological adjustment beyond music production—even talented artists need time to acclimate to studio environments after extended incarceration
  • Algorithmic visibility and media coverage significantly impact perceived hotness—artists without mainstream platform support may have real fanbases but appear 'imaginary hot' without visibility
  • Wealth protection through legal structures (trusts, offshore entities) is critical for first-generation wealth builders to prevent government asset seizure
Trends
Nostalgia-driven hip-hop discourse—audiences increasingly debate legacy rankings and historical artist comparisons rather than focusing solely on current releasesPrison-to-relevance pipeline—formerly incarcerated artists leveraging existing fanbases for immediate commercial success upon releaseAfrican diaspora expansion of hip-hop influence—French Montana's success in Africa and Dubai positioning him as bridge between continentsWealth education as content—financial literacy and tax strategy becoming mainstream podcast topics for entertainment audiencesCollaborative album rollouts as relationship markers—album release dates aligned with personal milestones (birthdays, anniversaries) creating narrative cohesionDecentralized music validation—internet and fan communities determining 'hotness' independent of traditional industry gatekeepersFirst-generation wealth building education—targeting audiences from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with actionable financial strategies

I got prison shit too. You do? Now, this shit is real. I got some shit. Now, this shit is real. One day they came in his cell when him and a nigga was having a candlelight dinner on Valentine's Day. No way. Cell Court on fire. I ain't blizzard up. Listen, Valentine's Day night, right? Listen, Valentine's Day night, right? How you cell catch on fire Valentine's Day night? That's true, OG. He had candles lit on top of shit in that drink. He about to pull up some shit. Look at him. He already mirrored his phone. He had all kind of this shit. Oh, sit right there. Oh, that's a lot. That ain't me. That ain't me. Good evening. A fire at Graderford Prison has damaged several cells tonight. Officials say the blaze began when two inmates lit candles for a Valentine's Day date. No one was seriously hurt, but the incident forced an evacuation of part of the block. You see the look fire at Graderford Prison? Look. Maybe. That ain't me. That ain't me. That ain't me, man. Yo. You lying, man. That can't do anything. I wasn't a co-incidence, right? With the candles in the jail cell. No, I told you they was having a candle like dinner. Damn. He got into argument about a nigga named Kevin D'Stalion. Oh, my God. The next do you know that shit? That's Kevin D'Stalion. That nigga lying on me, man. Yeah, I'm crying. What's good, though, fellas? What's up, fam? What's going on, man? I'm just gonna go to the police. What's going on, man? Y'all got shit popping right now. Man. Y'all got records in the top 10. Huh? I ain't got more. Plenty more. Ain't got more, huh? Whole bunch. Whole bunch of stuff. Roller. This is a whole bunch of good stuff. And I stand on it. One year ago, you was in the cell, right? Yep. Did you think it was gonna be this sweet coming home? Yep. You visualized it? I'm a visionary. I knew it. That's why I ran. I was here before. That's why I ran. That's why I run through this shit. And my nigga was here, too. He just don't say nothing about it. I'ma tell you. I was here before. What you say he was here before? What you mean? What's going on? Now, you told me you had a couple drinks to swallow the facts. You definitely admitted that when you first came in. Now, I'll fuck with you. Now, I'll fuck with you. I'm just telling you. You think you said I was here before? I said what do you mean? Then he could say, I knew something was wrong with you. Well, I told him how you feel. I believe you. No, what's the bullshit? It ain't nothing, man. I just wanted to come home and get to it. I'm excited. I was excited. So I know I work hard. I know I got product. I never had my studio in the cell. That was good, man. I just need to get home, get out, get to it, get in that lab. Everything else is very good covered. How do you feel coming out here at all these years and being able to be relevant? Like make music that people can adapt to and the fact that you're on the charts. This ain't no regular... You know how some people out here, some people be hot with no proof. Some people be illusionary hot. A lot of times you go to people's cities and people always say, I'm the hottest. They have imaginary fans. They know how to listen to the shit. They can't get a book from those shows. They not on no charts. So to really be hot hot because everybody, when we from everybody, man, I'm the hottest nigga in the city, man. You know what I mean? And if they hot, and they the hottest dude in the city, and they ain't no real fan, they see the niggas hating on them. Man, French and Max, they hating on me, man. Them niggas supposed to have been there to feature with me. Don't nobody know you, money. Nobody know. Shit, we all... That's how I feel. I came in the game. We always been hot. I ain't never not have nothing hot. But when I was in the beginning with niggas, when I was Dolo, when I got with him, when I got back on bail, everyone I was in prison, the little couple of drinks I did, I bet you if I reposted them shit right now, niggas would jump on them shit like I did them yesterday. This could they ain't have to market the budget. But them shit just go off too. So it was like, we always was hot, bro. And so I just wanted to switch it up this time. Take my boy advice, because I'm not, you know, I don't be doing... I'm more for the culture. Bro was like, nah, we gotta make these hit records now. So bro got me on hit record time now. So this is what you hear. He know I can channel that energy and tell a whole another thing. And we gonna make hit records. Non-stop. You got them non-stop. When you came home from jail, was it a... You was writing in jail, right? I was writing every day. Okay. When you came home from jail, right? Every morning. When you came home from jail, was it a process of like, did you have to shake off the jail raps? Did you know a lot of niggas that do time in jail, they be... Nah, nah, I ain't gonna lie. The first couple days, the first couple sessions with Rusty, it just felt big in there. Cause I'm used to, like in my cell with the cup, you know what I'm saying? I'm used to it in my heart. I was used to, I just had to get back out here in my voice. You know what I'm saying? Again, working with new engineers. I'm recording the old way. So I just had to get used to shit. But after like that first, what? 10, 12 days? Shit was done. Yeah. My first month, we had albums done. We had shit done in the first 30 days out. Did you have to shake the jail raps though? Cause you know a lot of niggas that do it. Can't say jail raps. I'm gonna go with musical jingling. No, but what I'm saying is listen to that. Even my jail shit, you won't know what I do. You don't know when my songs come from. It don't sound like jail. I got shit on the cosmos. I wrote from jail. You won't know. I'm not gonna tell you. So you wasn't in on that type of... See, you know what I'm saying is, a lot of times the motherfuckers come on from jail, right? They be having a lot of jail raps. It's just not a drippy nigga. I'm just a fly, pissed nigga. That shit was, that shit would have been super hot in there. 30 years and my shit gonna still be fire. I'm gonna know what clothes to wear. I read the robber part in jail. Nigga, I got fucked. I know the most I'm doing. I'm locked up. So you were staying up with shit? Content-wise, if it kind of just writing and just practicing my crap, I do that shit every day. No, he another nigga. Never he was in the joint. He had a phone, so he was a lot more hippering up on shit. That's right. You feel what I'm saying? Cause I nigga had a plan. He's my man. Just the 12 year, he come writing. Nigga plan. Stab a nigga in the yard with the feet fees. I was up steak cooking GTs. How was it? Like, bro, that shit ain't gonna work out here, bro. Nigga right here by this. Nigga's in there looking at porn. He trying to work chat, GBT and shit like that. He ain't there looking shit up, writing shit down. Yeah, he was one of the niggas that came on me. He wasn't lost. Yeah, I know me. I know me. So once I get everything by, I ain't know my boy doing his shit. That shit gonna run all concurrent. I'm not gonna be out here looking like a dead in the head. Like, nah, I'm jumping in here first and I'm gonna run. I'm like, what's up? Game speed. Let's go. Give me the ball. Give me the ball. Babe, and you did 18 pieces. You come home and this nigga French is just on another level. He's like one of the like top selling African artists all time in Africa. Think about that. He ain't chilling though. So he been resting. Yeah, I've definitely been harping that. He just been doing, he been harping that. I can go from one of the top selling artists in Africa to the like the Prince of Dubai. Because that's where it's at. You know what's crazy? Niggas be striving to get that over there shit, that all that flow over there, that motion. He got the motion already and then came over here and got the motion. Come on, man. Wait, wait, wait. I'll try to adapt. I'll try to adapt while I'm at. So he really got a cheek cold. Let me try to adapt my face. Oh yeah. Cause it's a dead punch. What's up with that verses, man? That verses. He's scratching his chin over there. No, you know, hold on, man. That verse is what you're on Rawls, man. You won, right? Respectfully. Respectfully. Slightly. I give my boys slightly. Slightly. Shout to the OG. Shout to the big homies. What's up big fellas? Yeah, shout to the Rose. I mean, we went and told the toe. We went and told the toe. Slightly. Yeah. I was like, man, when they asked me to do it, it was supposed to be me and me. Then I don't know whatever had happened. Then the Rose hit me. It's like, sure. I was like, let's get it. Then I guess they put Rose on there. Who organized that? Swiss and them? Yeah, it was Swiss and them. Yeah, Swiss and cash. Shout to cash. Did y'all watch it? We out there. I was like, he got a catalog like 10 years before I started. So I was kind of like, some of my people was like, man, don't do it. I'm like, man, what? You know what I mean? You got 20 joints. Play 20 joints. But then I knew I was going to have Max with that energy up there on that stage. He won the verses. He won the verses. He won the verses. I don't mean to roll that. He won the verses. I was like, I'm here. I'm up here. I was like, keep moving. Just keep moving. That's all I kept saying. Keep moving. Keep moving. I was tired as hell too. We still came out there and did it up. Hell yeah. Had a ball. You, and they was marvelous. Prince, you got a, you wanted a few artists that got over a billion streams in one song. You got like 2.9 on Unforgettable. You called them Prince? No, I said French. Oh, but you said Prince. Yeah, you gotta stop. I'm like, peace. Yeah, you gotta be stopped, man. I'm like, man. I'm like, man. Look at him say like he said Prince. No, you gotta be stopped. I think he said Prince. Now I'm like, damn, but so is his official. Like he really used to Prince. I know him. You gotta be stopped, man. Yeah, you got 2.9. How many bill you? 2.9. No, yeah, he go, he. Man. And you just gonna stop in a bit or something? Alhamdulillah. No, I'm just, I'm actually like. He in there texting Mike Reuben. Huh? He texting Mike Reuben. He like, yeah, when's the white party? I'm beat you. Now I'm sitting right here, asking Swiss who won between French and rich. And Swiss said both, it was a celebration out of battle. That's what Swiss said. Yeah. I said that too. Yeah. It was a celebration out of battle. But you mean just edge it out a little bit? No, I just got one nigga to win on TV. Have you? I'm support. But. That's a beautiful thing. I mean, they said I won. They said I won. But you can't win that type of situation because we know what type of catalog Rose got. You know what I'm saying? We know what type of artist he is. There's no, there's no winning. Like, you know what I'm saying? It's like, there's no. I mean, y'all both won essentially, but you won the battle. Yeah. It was a battle. I mean, I'm always say I win. Whatever I do, I'm saying. All right, Bet. The internet said you won, huh? The internet complex that I won. Complex. Okay. Complex that one. You said it was mad at complex earlier. What happened? Oh, oh. Yeah, man. He put the top, they put the top thousand rappers out with motherfucking New York game. Put him on there, man. It's top thousand and Max was in on it. I suggested. What? Yeah, but then I was like, are they going to stack up? Max wasn't in the stack. Listen, listen. But there was honorable mention on the stack. I bought a stack. Listen. Damn. And then they said for some reason, they said, listen. I wasn't there, but they told me they said for some reason. And not saying he got any type of beef with this person or anything, but they said, K.R.S. One name popped up. They said, Max, flip the table at complex. And it told the nigger, I'm better smell it fucking name on your list tomorrow, motherfucker. That's when your breath. Stick it in your fucking ass. Damn, you snap like that, Max. I was like, fuck this. I wasn't that upset when I told them respectfully to. Go stick that list up your ass. This episode of me and I's worth a game is brought to you by Mars men. Nobody tells you about this stuff. One day you're crushing it, next day you're wondering why everything feels twice as hard. Because here's the thing most men start off losing testosterone around the age 30, about 1% every year after that. That's why you should start taking Mars men. Here's what I've learned. Your body makes testosterone, but a lot of it gets locked up and can't be used. There's a protein called SHBG that's basically handcuffs your testosterone. Even if your body is making testosterone, SHBG locks it up so you can't access it. It's like having money in a bank, but your debit card doesn't work. Mars men is designed to help free that testosterone so your body can actually use it. No synthetics, no needles, just real ingredients that helps optimize energy, focus and strength. When they come to creativity and just flat out consistent songwriting, I just don't think nobody got the catalog to match me. You got a lot of, y'all say in New York City. No, but look at my catalog. Look at my tapes. You got chub. Look at my domains. Look at my million dollar babies. This is what I'm saying. The argument that we were having, right? Look at the coat wave. Some of these artists might have a two-year run. Some of them had a one-year run. Some of them had a three-year run. What is a run? Because Kane and them been running since they started. They ain't stopped running. Who? Kane? Big Daddy Kane. Who? Kane? I ain't see Kane. Well, I tell you, I'm sure Big Daddy Kane. Come on, man. Don't do that shit. Nick, I just did 18 games like you. I ain't see Kane. Kane wasn't even on the kiosk. Fuck, you told me. Hey, Big Daddy Kane. What the fuck? This is alleged. This is alleged. Hold up, man. Y'all niggas, I like y'all niggas. What am I about to do in part two? Fuck yeah. When I say something about alleged pussy, you step on with me, niggas. Don't be this way. What the fuck, man? Now, you can see it in case who the fuck is Kane. I love Big Daddy Kane. Because he might think I'm talking about Ho. I ain't see that, niggas. It's just 19 years. He might be saying, hold, let me correct you. Who's a bitch? No, no. He think I'm talking about, no, no. He think I'm talking about Kane for minutes or somebody. You said Big Daddy. I love Big Daddy. Big Daddy's still performing all around the world. Oh, God. All right. What the fuck? You said New York. Where the fuck he at, New York? He getting booktaped. What tapes and mix singles that nigga got right now in the baby? I ain't talking about tapes. I'm talking about like, what? He's still performing. Man, what have you done for me lately? Because it's like this. OK, listen. That's nigga, hold on. If you want to look at it like that, all this nigga do is be overseas during George. You won't know if you want, you said like over here. What he, what right there? Who's with relevancy, right? Is we talking right now? What have you done to me lately? And one friend say, one friend say some, some people had two year runs. Some people had three year runs. Some people had four year runs. He mean that's when the music was popping. So if you had a great three year run and you had great records, a great album that, yeah, you're going to do them songs for the rest of your fucking life. But you ain't, you ain't got hits from 88. And then got hits from the 90s. And then got hits from too early 2000. You just got hit. Damn, he nice. He ain't had no big, like big hits. Don't have, stop that shit now, man. He had nice joints. He had no half step there. So, no, no. The third album, the nigga went on Playboy with Madonna at a thong on. Fuck you, talk about. Compare me to Kane. The dirt, after the third album, the nigga start bugging out. Went on the cover of Playboy with Madonna and had a thong on with his nipples out. Fuck you, talk. Can't hold. Can't even hit no thong. Don't do that. Ain't they had to sit. Put a cover up with Madonna. Put that shit on. Big daddy Kane on a thong on. Put that shit on. You go do that to Kane. Put on. Shit I only see Paul I think not right man. It's what Madonna on the cover I Think it's gonna be worked out So who's on the list then man? I said X so gotta So I love first X3 and after that he started doing this fucked up his legacy a little bit if you ask me musically Because that's what you question is career. You say yo X first three nigga don't say that about my shit Like when you hear when you when they just talk about the America on my X man I'm bigger Val nigga listen. We talk about niggas. Will you talk about niggas? I love it. It's certain pieces like yeah, like the blonde for instance, and I love the blonde The question on his rings do your question black Michael Jeffery Jordan black Over DMX Who he did yeah, what y'all think about that? I mean they both superstars Which I put Nikki over DMX I mean Me personally I'm not putting Nikki over DMX because I don't really ride around and listen to girl albums Yeah, you know I was right around Frightening in the mother had that little Kevin that Foxy album on But it was a little different You wanted some ass from them back then you Well, who else was on the list And you wasn't who made you mad on that list cuz you see you like that No, it wasn't that the list he had that's not what happened He had a he said that we could replace Any name that we want to on it that was in the top 10 that he had picked already Which I thought was a fine top 10 He was just said we could switch it up if we wanted to mix it up And we had an option to take out the barrel of names from all New York to replace up here So we go into the barrel to see the names the nigga don't even got my name in the barrel What's my issue huh out of 50. Y'all naming the creators of hip hop is not a list of who accolades and influence is not that. Y'all giving it to the old Jays. I'm just trying to get him out with the OG list. First of all, no, ain't no OG list. Cause first of all, you cannot name, I'm just keeping it all the way real. Just, I'm just keeping it all the way real. You cannot name big daddy Kane. You cannot name, hold on, wait, K.R.S.1. You cannot name all them dudes that had four, five year runs. And none of them niggas run one greater than Mace. None of them niggas. Mace was coming out, bitches was falling out. I'm like, I'm gonna use my camera. They some dips up too, bro. Dipset influence was crazy too. I'm just saying, I gotta get that out. I'm gonna name none of them all fucking young. I'm gonna name niggas boy New York back, bro. First of all, you cannot handle fucking 20 rappers of all time without having fucking. You only gave me 20 to start. Without having Nicki Minaj on there. Without having Lil Kim on that motherfucker. It would have had. You did say you're 20 without Lil Kim. You ain't had Lil Kim, you had Nicki Minaj. They fucking destroyed niggas when they was doing anything. Foxy. You naming niggas that they was bigger than, bro. I'm just keeping it real. I'm just running it down. And you gotta take some of them old ass niggas out. It's not my model, it's stuff. Yeah, but what I'm saying is, he don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about. You gotta put niggas like that, you boogie in there. Niggas are so more wreckers than a lot of old niggas put their stuff on. I'm trying to get them, I'm trying to hear what they're saying. I'm naming my other niggas too. I named Pop Smoke Boogie. He did that too, you ain't put him in the top 10. You ain't just throw him in the top 20. No, I'm trying to, y'all right here, y'all really, y'all, what do y'all care about it? Y'all really living right now. I'm just trying to remember the guy. I'm trying to, I'm trying to shout out to people that some people might don't know, but I gotta get them correct. Cause they laid the foundation though. They there. Bro, bro. Okay, let me just say this right. Let me just say this right. It's a bunch of old ass basketball players that laid the foundation down. When I talk about the top 20 in the league, it's only one of them niggas going in there. Will niggas or J. West. That's it. The rest of them niggas is motherfucking either Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, fucking Steph Curry, fucking, I'm not just gonna be talking about John Havelcheck. Darvin' Ham, Garret, naming him Bob Coosie. They like young, that's a mad dog. Just because them niggas with the foundation. I know a little bit. No, Steph Curry would have cooked this shit out of Bob Coosie. He would have fucking threw Bob Coosie in a fucking blender. The fucking shit. What you day shot with the dancing of niggas? Fucking imagine Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook gets fucking J. West. He'd have fucking dunked on fucking J. West. Fuck outta him, boy. The fuck broke. No, I'm not going with them old ass niggas used to dribble in the circle and all that shit. What is this? I'm dying. Niggas be running the clock. I'll be dribbling in the circle and shit. The tight ass short shot. Niggas is doing all this shit. That booty shot. I'm just gonna fucking run with him. He wants all these old ass niggas from fucking. Respect to them niggas. Cause they laid the foundation down. It's about a. Respect to them niggas. One million percent. But them niggas was getting. Top 100 rappers in New York. Them niggas was getting 4,400 a show, man. These niggas be getting 450. You said they would get 1,300 before it's done. If some of them niggas was getting 1,300. But what I'm saying is these niggas be getting 450. Oh god. That boy, them niggas getting the M. Right. By waving all them niggas getting the M. Niggas be getting more than the M on these shit. Right. So, them niggas back then, man. Even though the value of a dollar was different. Hell no. But 1,300 was 1,300. So revolutionized business, man. And this way you gotta give us our prop. For the longevity. Longevity, bro. Every time this shit revolutionized. Revolutionized, we was right here. That's it. See, one thing I can say right is, you can take a motherfucker who, bam, they came out, bam, they took off. He done. Or you can take a motherfucker like a fab. Like a Jadakiss. Like they been doing this shit for. Oh shit. We ain't put Jadakiss on top 20. No, no, no. I put the locks. Five, five, five. The niggas got their jackets. They got their jackets all over. This nigga been doing this shit for 20 years. Think about that shit. I said earlier, this nigga used to call motherfuckers to get on a Coke Boy DVD. DVD, like. He got us in his house wearing Calabasas. He did. Now he got us in his condo that's in the motherfucking, the motherfuckers. Hey, it's Hannah Montoya. Abercrombie's new summer drop is our latest obsession. There's tons of colorful swim, flowy dresses, and they just released new linen blend matching sets. Everything feels so light and breathable, it's perfect for brunch or rooftop happy hours. Just like you're on vacation, shop Abercrombie in the app online and in stores. Fuck the moon. I gotta come see the new shit. We got some new shit. You got my hand? So when you see a motherfucker that's been doing it that long, how you not in your top 20? Yeah. Nigga one from selling Coke Boy DVDs, man tell niggas to pull up on a DVD, man, to having a house in Calabasas. Like all North such and such live over there, and yet such and such live over there, and over there is, come on man. Some niggas are still doing hits from 88 and shit. That's cool, get your money. But come on bro, niggas like French, he got hits from 2000 and something, 2015. Now you got motherfucking hit in 2026. Every year. Every year we give him one. Yeah I mean so. It's major. But they ain't never gonna give you flowers though. Like I said, like you saw what they did to Michael. Michael was fighting little boys before he went in. Now the biopic is the highest selling biopic ever. Look what they doing in Mayweather. One of the greatest boxes they ever lived. Look what they clowning on him. Look what they doing to Drake. Look what they did to the greatest. Look what they did to X before he died. Bro there's nobody that's getting their flowers right now. And anyone artist is getting their flowers. That's real. Unless the motherfucker's hotter than in the house and you don't see him nowhere. That's the only way you get your flowers is if nobody's talking about you. I tell you one thing about that nigga Drake. That nigga took a break. And it showed you exactly what that nigga meant to hip hop. Fuckers is. Fuckers sitting around waiting on ice man like that shit. Yeah. It's for real. Yeah he waiting. It was like that nigga took a break. It was like this shit kinda dead out here. Like the fucks cool. This shit ain't dead. This shit ain't dead. Everything's lit. Everything. As soon as you do it you can just say a beat. Just make a beat up right now. You gonna start doing 11 more. It's just as soon as you do it. One million percent. That nigga just having fun. That's life. And you should be bro. You should be because think about this. Less than 1% of niggas in the world come home from jail was in your position. Man yeah. So that's an anomaly right there. I was convicted my nigga. I was convicted and shit then. And it was already in jail for nine years. Like you niggas really is like. I was traumatized. Top 0.1% of niggas that come home from prison. Dead. Dead I know. The 1% of the 1%. Right. You feel what I'm saying? You could make that shit. You could make yourself that percent though. You gotta fight. You can't be a nigga just sitting around waiting for shit to happen. You gotta go grab shit. You gotta go snatch a grab. I'm telling you. I don't think nobody had a better rollout than you coming out of jail. Shit. You're still rolling out. Who the fuck was this? Yeah. I never stopped rolling out. I was just saying I'm a big food rollout. You know what? Pull up. You know what? He always escalated. He always escalated. He always escalated. He always escalated. Like your man earlier. That's pulling the mic. He was like, yo, open up that zip. I'm gonna use that. He's a big food rollout. He's a little crazy, man. He's a little crazy. Let me fuck you, bro. Shit. It ain't that serious. Oh, shit. He's crazy, man. Oh, man. I think it's the worst side of me today, boy. We boys are besties. I think you said, hey. Hey. Yeah, but to me, yeah. I think this is my worst. This is my worst press run day. I crashed the fuck out two times. He said, hey. He was crazy. We're gonna have to do a song. We'll pick that in K now, man. We gotta show you. You gotta show you. You gotta do a song with me, daddy. You gotta show you. I crashed out like a motherfucker. I can't wait to go home. I'm changing again, too. I put Get Down on the Ground right on Peter. Peter was top, though. That rain album. That shit was mad in the radio. That shit had a couple songs on it. Peter was king of New York at one time. The man was a beast, too. That son is nice. The sound of the bridge. Yes, sir. Lord Tariq originally from Money Boss Player. They was that. The doo-wop squads and all bells squads. Legends like Altra Magnetic, MC's Cool Keef, he said I'm the best MC in the whole wide world. Why didn't you put Melly Mellov there? Oh, I forgot them. I was trying to get everybody off. Yeah, Melly was that boy. That's what I was saying. My suggestion was this. Don't do that. No, no, no, that was a legend, man. Legend, dog, but come on, bro. How many hits he had? Just do statues. No, no, no, no, hold it for a second. Like a Hall of Fame NBA. How many fucking hits, Melly? He only need that one. That's like you put Peter Guns in the top 20. What's up? When you call Swiss like Gilly hitters, say gun set to ask you about the gun runners and DMX. Ooh. What happened? We battle, me lord, to DMX. Buy in Prince, niggas. Man. I ain't gonna lie. Feels good. I know it. Give me that more. She having her way over there. You know, you got so many secrets. You got so much game. What did you teach in the people today? Yeah, so basically I'm teaching people... ...teaching people, number one, how to save money in Texas. So that we can go in the best. When I was 19, I started working on Wall Street. And what I realized is that the billions of dollars... ...they are focused on not paying on money in Texas. And what are we gonna do with this money? We need to invest, right? And what I learned over the last 19 years is that... ...taxes is the number one killer to wealth, right? When we buy some, we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we pay sales tax. And we buy some. We pay sales tax. When you work a job, you pay income tax. When you own real estate, you pay your real estate taxes. If you inherit something from your family, you pay inheritance taxes, right? So taxes is gonna be the number one killer of wealth. I'm sure you all remember... ...actually what we just learned about tariffs, right? So we got tariffs going crazy. Nobody knows what to do, right? So being an accountant for the last 17 years... ...it really taught me... ...it taught me how to be a real estate agent. And I'm not gonna say that I'm a real estate agent. But it's been around for the last 18 years. It's really taught me the strategies that the wealthy use... ...so that you can save money and taxes. And then we're gonna take that money and we're gonna invest... ...so that we can build real wealth. So how do you save? How do we save? Listen, I'll give you one play. I mean, we can look at our president, right? What he did to mitigate his taxes on real estate... ...President Trump. What he did was, he buried his ex-wife on his land. And that turned his land into a cemetery. Now, he don't have to pay real estate taxes, right? So we gotta understand that we are literally paying taxes... ...in every aspect of our life. So once you learn the strategies... ...how you are going to move your money... ...make your money flow through your bank accounts... ...make your money flow through business... ...make your money flow through real estate... ...then you can learn how you're gonna mitigate taxes, right? Next thing we do is we need to figure out... ...where are we putting this money? So for me, I went from buying my first property in Detroit... ...for about $16,000. I just had a couple dollars. I wanted to get into real estate. And, you know, I had been building my tax business... ...so I had some money. And when I decided to leave my corporate job... ...what I realized was that I'm just sitting on money. And this money is not doing anything for me. So I have to figure out how do I take my money... ...and invest it so that I don't have to work as hard, right? If I wasn't selling a client... ...if I wasn't bringing somebody into my business... ...I wasn't making money. So the first thing I did was I invested in real estate. I bought a property for about $16,000 cash in Detroit, Michigan. First project, I loved it. Went super, you know, super, super well. And so what I teach people is how you go from that first property and scale, right? So I bought my first property, $16,000 cash, and within three years I owned $3 million of real estate. So I learned how you leverage credit, right? How you can leverage debt. And then how this all is going to build your portfolio. I mean, and you look up three, five years later... ...you three, five, ten, $20 million in. And it really all literally started from me... ...learning how to save money in Texas. And this is what I teach my clients. Now, so when we get this... listen... ...this wealth e-book bundle, right? What's in that bundle? Give us a little... Yeah, so the bundle is crazy. The bundle is crazy because the first thing we're going to learn is mindset, right? So you got to learn how to master your mindset to understand that you deserve whatever it is you want, right? Like, you deserve the money you want, you deserve the wealth that you want, and the reason that you have those desires is because God gave it to you. So first thing we conquer is mindset. How do you develop your dream life? Like, what does that look like, right? We all say we want the mansion, we want the things, right? But what does that path actually look like? So I literally take people through what exercise called the dream life planning. We sit there, we figure out what is the house that you want? Okay, you want a six-bedroom house, 5,000 square feet. How much is that going to cost? How much are you going to pay for the house? How much are you going to pay for the house monthly? What's your dream car? How much are you paying monthly for the dream car? So now we have a target on how much money you at least need to make in your business... so that you can plan, right? So once you have a vision, right? God gives you the vision, that's all you need. And then if you make the plan, once you put it on paper, it's already done. So that's the first thing we do. We build out our dream life, we figure out how much it's going to cost, and then we build out the financial plan. So what investments is it going to take for me to obtain the Lambo? What investments is it going to take for me to buy the Rolls Royce? And then we are learning credit, right? We're learning how to leverage debt, bringing in people like Dion. Everybody knows Dion Kootwood. We bring a Dion in to get you access to six figures in funding. And lastly, we teach you how to protect all of that, right? Because what I've learned over the last 20 years of my career is that most of us are first generation, you know what I'm saying? So we go, we get the money, but we don't like... Let's say you make a million dollars this year. And most people building, busy, they don't know what taxes look like in their first million dollar year. But guess what? You could be paying $570,000 in taxes. But if you out here living a million dollar lifestyle because that's how fast the money is coming in, you're not going to be prepared to pay a couple hundred thousand dollars when it comes to paying that tax bill. So what I do is I help people structure out that plan so that way you're not overspending, you're putting your money in the right places, and then you build out your trust so that it protects everything. Yeah. Even if you get in a situation where maybe you owe the IRS or maybe you, you know what I'm saying? A lot of people don't realize that the IRS can literally take anything from you, right? Laborate on it. So people can know. Meaning they will put you in jail. They will take their life from you if you're not... If you don't pay your taxes, right? If you... Taxivation is illegal in this country. So they can take your freedom. If you have properties that you're not paying taxes on, they can take your properties, right? So we're not building as wealth to just give it away. So we have to learn how to put in protective measures such as trust, right? Such as different business entities that might be owned in other countries where the government can't... They have no jurisdiction, right? So if you own an apartment building and it's owned by a company that's based out of a country, there's no jurisdiction for them to, you know, to come after that company because the company is based in Cayman Islands or, you know what I'm saying? So we help you structure out that wealth plan so that you're well protected and you're passing this money down. So the live masterclass, right? How often you do that? And what's in that? What's going on in that masterclass? Yeah, so the live masterclass, we're literally pretty much painting the picture on what your seven-figure portfolio looks like, right? So when I first started, I was making about $40,000 a year. Just like choosing a show to stream, State Farm has options to choose from to help you find coverage that best fits your needs. Talk to a State Farm agent today to learn how you can choose to bundle and save with a personal price plan. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. Prices are based on rating plans that vary by state. Coverage options are selected by a customer. Availability, amount of discounts and savings, and eligibility vary by state. And I didn't see my million-dollar plan. I didn't see it in front of my face. So what we're going to do is retake an average everyday people that work jobs, $50,000, $60,000. What does it look like if you put away 10% of your salary a year? And, you know, how can that compound for you? So that's a process that essentially we're taking people through. What plan are you putting in place? What can you do over a long period of time? Right? What I learned is wealth is not built, is not always built quickly, right? Especially for the average person. The average person, you have to build wealth over time. And so what that looks like is taking $100 every month, right? If that's your budget, you take your $100. Or it might look like taking $2,000 a month and you putting that away every single month, right? It just depends where you are. But we're taking people from where they are to where they want to go. Most people are planning to at least be the first generation millionaire. So that's the end goal is to help people build out their seven-figure plan so that you can be the first generation millionaire in your family. Once again, man, we got Saniqua Nicole up here. And what's going on is that you need to go to blackwealthlive.com right now so you get this free Black Wealth e-book bundle. And Live Masterclass. She's not going to be playing, so you're going to be in there teaching a bunch of stuff. We talk about Black Wealth Weekly Community. So this weekly. This weekly. Every week she's just going on to you. You can just pull up one day, ergh! Pull up to her building online in the Black Wealth. You can pull up to the blackwealthlive.com building and just soak some game up. You know, anything you need to know. When was it that the light hit the switch clicked on you, Saniqua? And you said, I got to put this together. Yeah, so I'm from a project in Trenton, New Jersey. Oh man, you right up the street. I'm right up the street. Like, I've been in the clubs with you when I was a teenager. You know what I'm saying? I used to throw parties out here in Philly because I'm from Jersey. So I always have been like a high achiever. You know, I've always been wanting, like, what's next, right? So it clicked for me when I started working on Wall Street. And I used to manage these multi-million, billion-dollar funds. So let's just say I managed, like, Walmart's retirement plan. And I started at 19. So when I was looking at these employees' plans and they had six figures in their retirement plan and they're working at Walmart, it totally threw my brain for a loop because I thought that people at Walmart made $7 an hour. And I didn't think that they would be able to save hundreds of thousands of dollars, right? So that's when it clicked for me. Like, it's not about you don't have to make a whole lot of money all the time, right? It's about what you do with your money over time that helps you build real sustainable wealth at whatever, you know, whatever level it is for you. Also, my mom unfortunately went through, you know, bankruptcy and things like that. So that taught me how to, how you have to protect yourself, how you can protect your assets, right? How you can move property and things like that around so that you're protected in a worst-case scenario. And I'll say this, I've seen clients, right? I've been working with clients for 20 years. And I've seen clients make a whole lot of money, buy a whole lot of things, leverage debt, excuse me, leverage debt, but not properly structure their business and then the money dries up. You know what I'm saying? Money dries up, cash flow is tough, it's tight. Now you have to get rid of properties or now you have to, you know, you can't leverage your debt because you don't match your credit up. So it's very important that we build our foundation solid. And so that's what I want to teach people is you don't have to make a million dollars to be a millionaire. You don't have to make a million dollars to be a millionaire. You can be a millionaire on paper. You can do it slowly. You can do it working a job. And it just takes doing the little things that were going over on the masterclass, doing those things consistently and you'll have your millions.
