Summary

Dave Rubin discusses Republican redistricting victories in Florida, Supreme Court rulings on race-based redistricting, Democratic policy failures in major cities, and contrasts the decline of U.S. urban centers with El Salvador's transformation under President Bukele. The episode covers political polarization, immigration policy enforcement challenges, and military operations in the Middle East.

Insights
  • Democratic-controlled cities are experiencing accelerating decline due to progressive policies on crime, homelessness, and taxation, while red states like Florida are gaining political and economic advantage
  • The Supreme Court's colorblind redistricting decision represents a fundamental shift away from race-based electoral engineering, with significant implications for Democratic electoral strategy
  • El Salvador's dramatic transformation from gang-controlled failed state to safe, thriving economy under Nayib Bukele provides a stark contrast to progressive governance failures in major U.S. cities
  • Republican unity around Trump is essential for electoral success; fracturing the base by abandoning Trump would result in Democratic control and radical policy implementation
  • Federal immigration enforcement authority supersedes state and local sanctuary policies under the Supremacy Clause, yet Democratic mayors continue defying federal law with symbolic gestures

Previously on The Rubin Feeling great, feeling stressed, feeling doubtful He's a shape-shifting chameleon The Republicans are corrupt We're gonna have a civil war We're gonna get the fascists! Medicare for all! We don't know what we're doing! This is me looking skeptical Gavin Newsom is better at being fake than Tucker Carlson All right, everybody, how you doing? I'm Dave Rubin. This is The Rubin Report. It is May 5th, 2026. That's right, people. It is Cinco de Mayo, and I hope that you will be celebrating with some Copal Reposado. So drinkcopal.com, getting that out of the way real quick. I will be taking the team to a restaurant of choice later. We're gonna be down in some copal in both sipping and margarita form, maybe some other forms, you never know. I do wanna thank Elizabeth. I've shown this once or twice, but just in the mail today. Ironically, it arrived today. So Elizabeth, who's one of our great locals members, has sent us various versions of Little Dave Rubin and his jacket comes off and everything. But this day, Little Dave Rubin has a copal bottle that has a, it is attached to his hand, which is very lifelike because when I go out, I always have like a little chain thing and a bottle of tequila attached to me. So Elizabeth, we thank you for that. And hopefully Clyde won't eat these. I know he's eaten a couple of these things. Anyway, happy Cinco de Mayo, everybody. And quick reminder, of course, June 11th, Florida Man Live, me, Ron DeSantis, Ben Shapiro, Jillian Michaels, Adam Carolla, you never know who else is gonna show up. And yes, there will be tequila, daverubin.com slash events. Let's dive in. It's a great show today. I don't say that that often. You know, these night, I tell you, oh, it's a thick show. We've got a lot to do. We're doing a lot of international stuff. We're doing, I'm doing Gavin Newsom now. But I don't often say great show. I let you decide, right? At the end, you can go, well, I like that show. I didn't like that show, whatever. Today's just, it's a lot of, there's good stuff. And you know, yesterday, I think three times on the show, I kind of apologized for blackpilling because there is some bad stuff going on for sure. the way the Democrats have completely lost their minds and some of the alliance with the far right, which isn't even right anymore and all that stuff. But there's a lot of good stuff happening too. So let's just dive right in. And speaking of DeSantis and speaking of good things happening, of course, I'm gonna focus first here on Florida because yesterday, Governor DeSantis tweeted this, signed, sealed and delivered. And that is the new, yep, new Florida congressional map because Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats were trying to redistrict everywhere they can. As you know, two weeks ago, Virginia, they were a six-five state out of basically a 51-49 state in terms of voting habits. They were six to five Democrats. They voted it to go 10 to one Democrats, which seems more fair to you. It's hung up by the Virginia courts. Now we'll see where that lands. But the Democrats then were like, okay, we're gonna try to do this everywhere despite the fact that Republicans generally don't do it. Indiana right now could do it, they don't. The difference with say Indiana, red state, and Florida, red state, is we have Ron DeSantis, and he realizes that you can't just sit back and take it all the time. Sometimes you have to fight, and you wanna pick those fights in an effective manner so that you get wins when it matters. That's exactly what's happening here in Florida. I'll have more on the map in a second. But what made this all happen? Well, it was Timu Obama saying this about a week ago. Our message to Florida Republicans is F around and find out. Well, we did F around and you found out, buddy. Here's Ron DeSantis doing a rare, and maybe I can get him to do this on stage, a rare impression. We're gonna do maximum warfare against Republicans. Florida Republicans, you F around. You're gonna find out all this stuff. and you know what i said was um listen uh and he's like oh if you do the redistricting we're gonna take out all your members we're gonna do all this stuff and what i said was go ahead make my day uh you don't think we're gonna you want to come down here and spend money and in florida roll the dice and take your chances Who knew the Gov could do impressions? My God. I mean, the guy's got more talent. You know, they say, who are the people in Hollywood that they can act, they can sing, they can dance, they can tap dance, do ballet. It's Barbra Streisand, Marlon Brando, and what's his name? Urkel, whatever the actor's name was. Those are the only ones. And now we've got Ron to say this. Okay. So, well, congratulations. You guys went for this, and now the Florida map is redrawn, and Florida will gain four seats. So this is now becoming good for Republicans. We didn't wanna do it. Literally nobody, including me, Mr. Florida, two weeks ago was like, okay, let's redistrict here in Florida. But you guys started doing it and occasionally we're gonna push back. Now, if you don't think that Virginia is wacky enough, let's show you even more evidence. Let's not forget that this woman, Abigail Spanberger, who is now governor, She ran as governor saying she would not redistrict, immediately came in and redistricted. Everything else that she's attached to is like woke, woke, woke, woke, woke. And of course, now the Democrats, as I said yesterday, they're morphing into their final form, which is full communist. And then you're gonna bring in some of the Islamist stuff. She isn't there on the Islamist stuff yet, but she is there on the socialism, communist stuff. And this from Polymarket, as of this morning, just in Virginia, Governor Abigail Spanberger says taxes on gym memberships, dry cleaning, and streaming services should be discussed. And yeah, once Democrats start discussing your money, they're going to take your money. And think about that. You know, it's pretty damn interesting. They went from, what was it, Bernie 10 years ago. We're going after the millionaires. Then Bernie became a millionaire. Now they go after the billionaires. In California right now, they're gonna have a vote on the billionaire tax, which as we've covered several times, is really a tax on everybody because the billionaires are fleeing. You're gonna then have to take the tier down. It'll be millionaires. Then it'll be sort of lower, it'll be upper middle class and it'll just kind of keep moving down, right? Because they're always gonna want more money. But a tax like this, who are you hurting with a tax like this? A tax on Netflix. Is the billionaire like, all right, that's it. I'm not watching Seinfeld anymore. Or are you hurting the average person who I don't know what Netflix costs now. It's gone up, right? It's gotta be about 18 bucks a month, maybe even more. That's a different issue, but there is competition in the streaming world, which helps keep the prices down, right? But okay, so you're gonna tax streaming services. Congratulations. Who are you harming? Again, you think it will matter the extra $2 it adds per month to the rich person? No. Gym memberships. You're gonna tax gym, well, rich people generally have gyms at home, or if they have to have trainers or whatever else, they can afford it, and they're going to Equinox or the higher end gym. So who are you? You're gonna punish the guy who's going to what's like Orange Theory or what's like a generic Planet Fitness. The guy that's going to the $25 gym doesn't have a ton of money. He's going there and you're gonna, and the government now is gonna punish you for trying to take care of yourself. You see what they are trying to do here? What was the third one? It was streaming services, it was gym. And what was the last one? Dry cleaning. And dry cleaning. So they basically want you out of shape and slovenly. Thus, you are a Democrat. Now, interestingly, as you know, there was also the Supreme Court decision last week that has the Democrats freaking out because the Supreme Court decided, surprise, surprise, in a country known as America, where we are supposed to be colorblind, Lady Justice is colorblind, we are trying to remove all vestiges of racism from the system. They want it in the system. Well, SCOTUS decided that Louisiana can't redistrict based on race, which is what we should all want so that we are all in a colorblind way looked at as equals and then our representatives can represent us as such. Here is video of SCOTUS granting Louisiana's request to fast track their judgment so they may make this happen before the midterms. Good morning. Okay, so this at first blush here is a win for the plaintiffs who were not black plaintiffs. They were non-minority voters who challenged this decision. These two districts that were minority majority. Essentially, Louisiana had drawn up districts and then they were told in a legal battle that they had not represented black and minority voters sufficiently. They went back and drew a second district. So they had two of these minority majority districts. Well, then non-black voters sued and said, this is now violating our rights, our rights on the basis of race. So it looks like this is a 6-3 decision. There is one concurrence here, but it looks like the dissent sticks together with justices Kagan, Sotomayor, and Jackson. Okay, so a 6-3 decision basically said you can't redistrict by race, which is good. That is good, and that is the American way, right? We shouldn't have these guys looking at the maps and being like, well, the black people all live there, and the black people do vote 92% Democrat, so let's keep that there, it should be completely colorblind, right? It's ironic that people who are calling us racists all the time are the ones who want racism in the system. And that's what they've done with everything, whether it comes to affirmative action or the ability to get into Ivy League school, et cetera, et cetera. So the interesting piece of this though is that the redistricting could happen before the midterms in Louisiana. And if it does, it likely helps the Republicans even more. Quick sidebar here. This is Jaleel White. and I wanna give Jaleel full credit. He was Urkel on Family Matters, huge star. I guess that's late 80s, early 90s. And when they talk about the big three out of Hollywood, you're gonna get your Barbra Streisand, your Marlon Brando, and your Jaleel White. Let's, speaking of white, I don't know if that really worked, it sorta does. Let's jump over to the view where they actually hate white people. I did it, okay. And here they are suggesting that Clarence Thomas, a black man, doesn't know what he's doing. He has no idea what the law is or how to apply it, and he's actually a race traitor because he didn't do what they like. Wait a second. What about Clarence Thomas? Didn't he stick up for his own role? No, he did not. He did not. I can tell you, as a black woman, that my father was born in 1949. He remembers segregated schools. He remembers segregated water fountains. He remembers that he did not have full civil rights. And he told me when I turned 40 years old that I was the first person in his family to enjoy full civil rights. And he is still alive today. And I am still alive today. And I have been discriminated against. And now I have to tell my children that they have less civil rights than I did when I was born. That's true. That is disgusting, despicable. And I am devastated by this particular Supreme Court decision. You know, watching that show really could drive you to drink. I don't like to drink on the program, but if I'm gonna be bludgeoning these people with these clips, maybe, you know what, maybe if you're a long time, if you've watched over 100 episodes of The Reuben Report, I don't know if this is legal, could we just send people a bottle of this just so that when we play clips of The View, you could be like, all right, let's do it. Lady, Sonny, there's so many things there. First off, you have, what civil right do you not have that I have? Connor's the whitest person in this room, we often point that out, no offense. Do you think he's got a couple extra rights that you don't have? Connor, you got any rights that Sonny Hassan doesn't have that you don't know about? Less rights. You have less rights? He can't go outside in the sun, poor guy. He fries, okay? So if anything, reparations for Whitey over here, okay? That's number one. Number two, it's interesting how badly you want to be, you want to be a victim so terribly, and it's not just that you want to be. Your white friend, Joy Behar, the line that Joy said was one of the most disgusting things that I've ever heard. She said, didn't he stick up for his own group? Interesting. Joy, do you think it's possible that Clarence Thomas thinks he's a human being before the color of his skin? Do you think he thinks we should all be treated equally under the law? And that when we are districting, which is what this is about, deciding congressional representation, it shouldn't be related to skin color? So they removed that. They removed racism. You think it's racist. And then Sunny's takeaway from this is that she has to tell her son that he's gonna have less rights than she did, even though she has the exact same rights that she had yesterday and the day before and five months ago. Also, you may not remember this one, but it's too good not to show you again. Here's Sunny admitting that her family owned slaves. My mother's family, while they are Puerto Rican, they actually originate from Spain. And the reason that they moved to Puerto Rico is because the slave trade had been sort of canceled in Spain and then Curacao. And then they moved all of their slaves to Puerto Rico. And so the family business, I had been told that they were printers and journalists, but they were, in fact, enslavers. Do we have a funny edit that we can throw in there that I had the guys put together a minute before the show? Let's see what we did. As a black woman that my father was born in 1949, he remembers segregated schools. He remembers segregated water fountains. He remembers that he couldn't, that he did not have full civil rights. And I have been discriminated against. And now I have to tell my children that they have less civil rights than I did when I was born. That's true. That is disgusting, despicable, and I am devastated. My mother's family, while they are Puerto Rican, they actually originate from Spain. And the reason that they moved to Puerto Rico is because the slave trade had been sort of canceled in Spain and then Curacao, and then they moved all of their slaves to Puerto Rico. And so the family business, I have been told that they were printers and journalists, but they were in fact enslavers. Yeah, there you go. That's a little curb your enthusiasm irony. If anything, Sunny owes Connor money and I'm going to devote the next month of money. You don't even want her money, because you're not a victim. if you go out there and get too much sun, it's on you. That's what America's all about, baby. Personal responsibility. Let's stick with these lunatics for just a second because it's not just that they're coming for the black people by removing race from the electoral system. It's that they're coming for women next and it might involve dogs. We are seeing, we know what's happening and it's happening, it's gonna start happening to women as well because all these changes in voting where they're saying you can't use your married name, you gotta go get your birth certificate. You know, so this is going to affect a lot of people. Right now, it sounds like it's just affecting people of color. They were literally shooting people. They were running them down with dogs to keep them from voting. Okay, let's start with that. So when they say that problem is gone, it's not gone. Whoopi, you have to stop smoking your dreadlocks before the show. No one is trying to stop women from voting. Really think about the hysteria that they are trying to keep these women who watch this show in They want them to walk out of that studio or shut the TV off and think that if they go vote they not going to be able to vote because of their married name or that they going to be shot or a dog is going to chase them down. And then you wonder why people have a mass mental health crisis in this country. It is completely, completely bananas. and I would like to believe that we are a little bit over here of an antidote to that craziness. Let's put that on hold for a moment. Let me talk to you guys about Van Man. You know, I read a lot of these ads, but I gotta tell you, and I'll read a little bit. This is the best lip balm. I told the guys, for 40 years, I've been addicted to all these different freaking chapsticks. This lip balm, bang, put it on, little beef tallow. My lips have never been moister. Never, people. Moist Lip Dave, that's what they're calling me on the basketball court. Morris Lip Dave. Morris Lip Dave, you hear that? Guys, if you think that brands like Dr. Squatch, Burt's Beans, or Native are still the small, wholesome companies they once were, think again. Most of them have been bought up by massive corporations and private equity firms, and over time they've started cutting corners. But one company's doing things differently, the Van Man Company. They were early in the tallow movement, creating grass-fed tallow moisturizers before it became trendy, and they've stayed consistent ever since. Here's why that matters. Tallow is one of the best moisturizers you can use because it's fatty acids are almost identical to your skin's natural oils. Your skin will feel softer, smoother, and deeply nourished without that greasy artificial residue you get from products packed with chemicals and fillers. There's no junk in it, it goes a long way. It lasts longer than you'd expect. I don't need to read all this, it's just good stuff. I'm snipping this freaking soap bar all day long too. Go to vanman.shop slash Rubin and use code Rubin for 15% off your first order. That's manman.shop slash Rubin, code Rubin for 15% off your first order. And let's continue, people. Democrats. Let's talk about them. They're sick people, and we have to help them. Over in Tennessee, they've got this guy, Justin Pearson. And here he is with some thoughtful analysis about Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a white supremacist domestic terrorist who is seeking to destroy our democracy by any means necessary, including by usurping democracy itself and the voices of the people. And Governor Bill Lee, Cameron Sexton, Lieutenant Governor McNally have all decided to join him in this effort to destroy our democracy, to take away our voice and to attack black people and black representation. And that's wrong. Sir, this is a Wendy's. Like, we've just been through all this. Donald Trump is not racist. Donald Trump is not trying to come after black people or anyone else. Donald Trump loves America. Donald Trump is trying to get America to succeed. You guys all think that the Democrats care about you, and yet it's Democrat cities where generally black people live, and that's where the most murder is, that's where the highest drug rates are, that's where, you know, what was it out of New York City a couple weeks ago? The average black family in New York City has less than $20,000. It's where you end up with intergenerational poverty in essence because they say, okay, take this subsidized department and take these food stamps. And once you give people stuff, once you get them on the teat, on the, what's his name? Burns, Jack Burns teat, remember from meet the pair, get me the picture of the, I think we'll probably get bleeped or demonetized, the breast. Once you get on that government teat, you never get off that thing because you go, oh, for $500 a month, I can live in this fancy building here. and they're gonna give me food stamps and all of this stuff. And if I work, if I get a job and everything else, I'm gonna have to give this up and pay free market share, the market value for the apartment, et cetera, et cetera. And so that has nothing to do with black or white or anything else, that's human nature. If you just start giving people crumbs, they will take crumbs. Do we have a picture of the teat? We can't, we might get demonetized if we, I'm gonna take the risk. I'm gonna, I think it's worth taking the risk to make the point. In Meet the Fockers, Jack Burns' grandfather, then Jack Burns, has a plastic boob, which he is, I don't know, the point is you don't want that thing, I think is what I'm trying to say here. Now, of course, when you hear somebody like this Pearson fella with that rhetoric, because they're always, they're telling us to calm down the rhetoric all the time while they basically just say the craziest things. Gavin Newsom making the rounds again, he was on Bill Maher, we showed you that yesterday, he went on one of these lefty podcasts, and half condemned Trump for his own assassination attempt and then said, I'm not gonna both sides it, and then he both sides it. This evil act at the White House Correspondents' Dinner then needs to be condemned. And by the way, violence, rhetoric, condemned on all sides, I'm not gonna both sides, but you know what, it goes in both directions, which means the solution to this also goes with accountability in both directions. I'm not gonna both sides it, but then I'm gonna both sides it. That's exactly what he did right there. And again, you guys, you guys do this. When you control the culture, which is what the left has owned for the last however many decades, and you constantly are telling the rest of us that we are all of these horrible things, it's not a 50-50 thing when we then push back on it. When you have all the cultural apparatus and you have the schools and you have the media and everything else, and you're constantly hitting us, when we push back and say mean things about you guys, it is not equal. It simply is not equal. And by the way, I don't know anyone, I brought this up the other day, I went into the comments myself to check. I don't know anyone on the right who would be excusing violence against their political opponents. I don't know anybody. Like think about it, think about the four years under Biden. It is, I think, an empirical fact that Joe Biden opening the borders, and again, it wasn't even Joe Biden, which is a whole other, which makes it doubly evil, But Joe Biden, 20 million people come in under Biden. We have no idea where they are. Trump's trying to clean up a completely, almost impossible mess to clean up right now. That right there is worse than anything Donald Trump has ever done. Whatever you think the worst thing, whatever you think, I really hate this war in Iran. Okay, 20 million people into our country invading our country is far worse. Did you hear one pundit on the right, one YouTuber, one person on Fox News or anything else saying, you know, we're just a friend. I mean, literally just someone you know, being like, you know, Joe Biden let in these 20 million people. I guess if someone killed him because of that, it would be okay. I would understand it. That's what they're saying about Trump across the board. This Hassan Piker guy is saying it. We know this is what they are saying in a multitude of places right now. This is what they said about Brian Thompson, the healthcare CEO. We don't like what he does. So I can understand why people kill him. We never hear it the other way. So don't both sides me, you evil chameleon, a lizard cold-blooded freak. Here's Donald Trump talking to Hugh Hewitt about the interview he did post the assassination attempt a week and a half ago with Norah O'Donnell who had the gall, I mean the insane gall to read the freaking manifesto that the intended murderer wrote to read it to Trump's face within hours of him almost being assassinated. I'm not gonna ask you about the shooter's manifesto. I can't believe Nora O'Donnell did that. That was rehearsed, of course. She's terrible. They wanted you to walk off. Did you think about walking off? No, because then you make it a bigger story, actually. She's terrible. I mean, she's interviewed me before. She's a regular person that gets paid a lot of money. She's no different. I could get any woman off the street, practically, and they would do just as good a job as her. There's nothing special. And actually, as soon as she said the word manifesto, I said, here we go with the nonsense again. And you know, this is a sick guy, a really sick guy, a deranged guy, and he writes stuff. Yeah, and you know, I'm always talking about how Trump has leveled up and he's picking his fights a little bit better, and yes, does he still do some of the crazy stuff on Truth Social and all that? Of course, right? I find it very hard to criticize the guy who did the thing that no one said could be done, like winning the election in the first place the first time around. But that aside, you can see he really does get it right now. He does get it, and try to imagine it the other way. Try to imagine someone, try to imagine Joe Biden had had three assassination attempts and right after the third one, literally within hours, he's doing an unedited interview. Well, first off, that would never happen. Secondly, as Trump pointed out, you know, the reason probably that nobody tried to assassinate Joe Biden was he was inconsequential in a certain way. He was very consequential in the damage that he did, but the point is that Trump is doing a lot of good things proactively. And when you do good things, they don't like you. Abraham Lincoln, for example. But try to imagine after a third assassination attempt, Joe Biden does a media hit, would never happen. It's unedited, would never happen. And then the interviewer saying to Joe Biden, here's all the horrible things they said about you. Is any of this stuff true? Are you a rapist? Are you a pedophile? Did you bang your granddaughter in the shower? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We know that would never happen. So again, nothing is a 50-50 thing and don't get lost in the both sides thing. What Gavin Newsom did right there, both sides, I want both sides you, and now I'll both sides you. No, it's not a 50-50 equation. If we can somehow reset the culture so it's a 50-50 situation and the media is 50-50 and everything else, then you both sides till the cows come home. But until then, no, we are going to keep pushing back because let's not forget, the media has been doing this with Trump for years. You might remember this humdinger from October of 2020. with Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes. And he's in the midst of a scandal. He's not. And he's taking... He's not. No. Of course he is, Leslie. Of course he is. It's the biggest, second biggest scandal. The biggest scandal was when they spied on my campaign. They spied on my campaign, Leslie. There's no real evidence of that. Of course there is. It's all over the place. Leslie, they spied on my campaign and they got caught. Can I say something? You know, this is 60 Minutes, And we can't put on things we can't verify. You won't put it on because it's bad for Biden. We can't put on things we can't verify. Leslie. Is Leslie Stahl a journalist or is she a Democrat activist? Because of course what Trump said was right. At first he's talking about the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, right, which absolutely was true. And if you remember, the government was quite literally working with the old regime pre-Elan at Twitter to make sure you couldn't even send it in your private messages. And New York Post was locked out of Twitter for something like four months. And then he's talking about the Russia, Russia, Russia thing, which, yeah, do we have the New York Post headline? Oh, here, well, first, yes, FBI, this is from NBC back then, NBC abuses, sorry, FBI abuses in domestic surveillance of Trump campaign, eerily echo Red Scare raids. That was even NBC acknowledging that they were spying on the Trump campaign before he took office. And of course, Obama CIA director, John Brennan, well, he had a little something to do with the cover up around the Hunter Biden laptop story. You've all seen this image four billion times before about the 51 spies who lied and there is John Brennan. He got right next to the L in lie right there. There is pretty center stage on this thing. So try to, I mean, really, I mean, it's worth, it's worth reiterating very quickly. These were 51 people who are major intelligence, quote unquote experts, who all told us that the Hunter Biden laptop was misinformation or disinformation or a lie, and that was completely untrue. Why didn't I fall for it? Why didn't you probably fall for it? They threw in the kitchen sink to make sure we all fell for that hoax. Now, interestingly, and this goes to the point about the culture again, when you're a Democrat and you get caught in doing something, you usually get a promotion for it because it means in the eyes of the Democrat machine, you then are, you're doing everything in service for the machine, so you will move up. So a guy like John Brennan, he's former CIA director under Obama. He gets caught up in this laptop scandal, and then what do they do with him? Well, now he's on MSNBC all the time. Here he is yesterday with some rather insightful analysis of Donald Trump. He exhibits all of the traits, in my mind, of a malignant narcissist. A malignant narcissist is somebody who is, has a pathology in terms of dishonesty, lying, self-aggrandizement, entitlement, paranoia, but also inflicting cruelty on others, taking delight in fact in that. We see it in authoritarian leaders around the globe over the past century that these are individuals who actually enjoy this cruelty as we see what's happening with Jim Comey and what he's doing to other individuals as well. Oh, poor Jim Comey, what Trump's doing to Jim Comey. What about what all of you tried to do to Donald Trump. The absurdity of that panel, that you have a former Obama FBI director who is involved in massive scandals around Trump, brought in as if he's some nonpartisan analysis, sitting next to Michael Steele, who we talked about last week, who it is so insane the level of sellout that this guy is. He was the former head of the RNC, and now he sits on MSNBC and is a lapdog for the craziest far left policies. It's rather extraordinary. But okay, Brennan brought up Comey. And should we feel bad about Comey? There is a situation right now because he did put up that picture, 86, 47. And everyone knows, somebody put it up, maybe we can find it real quick, in the movie Little Shop of Horrors, The Plant with Rick Moranis, great freaking movie if you haven't seen it. Of course, it was a famous play. The plant that he's feeding the humans to, the plant talks about 86ing people because 86 means to kill. But so Comey's hung up in a problem about that. But should we have sympathy for Comey? I mean, I'm sure when he was in power, he wouldn't be trying to scare people and threaten people with jail unless we have video from Comey in May of 25. Well, these are the people who, through decades and decades, have seen every kind of case. And so they're there to make sure that the work, no matter who's in charge in the White House, no matter who the attorney general is, that the work is done consistently with previous practice and consistent with the law. I know Republicans these days aren't big in thinking about principle or precedent. They're going to be deeply sorry that that disappears because someday there will be a Democratic president and there'll be investigations of Republican officeholders. If I'm them, I sure would want these career people in place, making sure that it's done in the right way. Oh, so you see, they'll go after their guys. But when the shoe is on the other foot, it's an abuse of power. But put that aside for a minute. Do we have a picture of the plant? What was the plant's name? Feed me, Seymour. Feed me all night long. That's what he said. And he sang the song and the whole thing. And at one point he says 80 something like, I don't know what the exact quote is, but like 86 them so I can eat them because I need to grow, Seymour. How have I not done voiceover work? It really is. Can you guys clean this one up for me? In Shawshank, what is it that Morgan Freeman says about hope? Hope is a dangerous, does he say it's a dangerous thing or it's a good thing? I'm getting it slightly crossed up with Andy Dufresne. Someone help me out here. What does he say? Hope, hope is a dangerous thing. Hope is a dangerous thing that can drive a man insane. Hope is a dangerous thing that can drive a man insane. That was my Morgan Freeman impression. Because I gave you guys, for those of you that watch in California, I gave you a little bit of hope that Cali wasn't going the wrong way. It is going the wrong way. However, there is one decent guy in Los Angeles. Well, first off, at a state level in the gubernatorial race, they've got, what's his name? Steve Hilton, who, you know, he's a great guy, probably doesn't have a chance to win, but we'll see. at the LA mayoral level, they've got this guy, Spencer Pratt. He was a reality TV star, had nothing to do with politics. And then his house and his parents' house burned down in the Palisades fire. That's the type of thing that might radicalize you. And now he is running for mayor. Here he is with Will Kane talking about some of the traction that he's suddenly getting. Spencer, you do seem to be getting some traction online. As I mentioned, the ads that you're cutting are really seeming to cut through. Why is that? Because my ads are the truth. These politicians do not have to live the consequences of their decisions. My ad is that simple. And for Nithya Raman to say her kids, the funniest part about that is I was in a suit outside of a public street for one second. She fights moms in her district that want to get drug dealing, drug addicts away from schools and parks. And she fights these moms on camera saying there's no difference between one foot and 500 foot with drug addicts near kids. So now she's concerned about the safety of kids when that has to be her kids. Yeah, quite literally, this lunatic Nithya Raman, who's like the momdami of L.A., who probably is going to win, even though, what's her name? The mayor, Karen Bass, who's running right now, she's running for re-election. She's terrible and she's a crazy lefty. But what happens with the lefties? As someone goes, I'm completely insane. I have the worst policies. I'm partially mentally ill and I'd like to chop children's genitals off. And then someone's like, get out of my way. I'll show you insane. I mean, that's what they're doing. So they've got this Nithya Raman woman and she literally was trying to stop. A bunch of parents didn't want drug dealers outside of the elementary schools and she was trying to stop them, crazy. But anyway, you can see with this guy, like I don't know, he's running as a Republican, which obviously is tough in LA. I don't know all of his policies, but you can see there's a certain look on his face, like you MFers made me do this. You know who that reminds me of a little bit? Donald Trump. Remember Donald Trump 40 years ago, if someone doesn't fix this thing, I guess I'll have to do it. So they end up, and this might be the silver lining about the craziness of the left, the crazier they go, and then they start hitting decent people who want nothing to do with politics, who just wanna live, maybe not have their house burned down, eventually you're gonna push some people to get involved. Here is Karen Bass talking about Spencer Pratt, and listen to this dim-witted, grotesque woman. Honestly, before this, I had never heard of Spencer Pratt. Well, you aren't missing out on anything, so it's okay, but please go on. Exactly, but the thing I am concerned and feel about him is that I feel like he's exploiting the grief of people in the Palisades, and I think that's too fancible. First, I don't know who that interviewer is. Like, he ain't missing anything. This guy has actual righteous indignation in a good way, right? It's righteous because he's pissed about what happened to him and his family. So for Karen Bass to be smiling while she was in Ghana during the fires, even though they warned her it was about to happen and there wasn't water coming out of the hydrants and all of those things. And meanwhile, they could have had Rick Caruso, who Rick Caruso quite literally had a private fire department in the Palisades protecting his mall, which is still standing while everything got burned down. And he could have been mayor, but the people, the dim-witted people elected her instead. But that Spencer Pratt is exploiting the grief of the people of the Palisades. He's one of the people of the Palisades. His family is from the Palisades. Here he is with Will Cain again, discussing that quote right there. I love your reaction to Karen Bass, who says you're exploiting the grief of people in the Palisades. Yeah, I'm not sure if Karen Bass forgot that she let my house burn down and my parents' house burn down, and I had actual neighbors burn alive across the street from my childhood home. The only grief is my grief, my community's grief that I initially started this fight on behalf of. And she forgets, I have received two community advocate awards from the Pacific Palisades community. So it's the most insane, psycho, diabolical thing I've heard in a minute. But it's not shocking. This is the same woman that will allow 7,000 houses to burn to the ground, 12 people to burn alive, and then actively cover it up, get caught covering it up, and then say that the L.A. Times is lying, even though they have the emails where she's altering the after action report, which as far as I'm concerned is obstruction of justice. Again, you don't have to know all of his policies and you don't know, have to know all of Karen Bass's policies, but who's the good guy and the bad guy here? If you can't figure it out, how she glibly with that smile, he's exploiting their pain. And he talks about his house burning down, his family's house burning down, that across the street, his neighbors burned alive, which is true. 12 people did actually die during the Palisades fire. I think something like one house has been rebuilt so far. It's just absolutely insane. And good luck, good luck, LA. Like one of my calculations when we left LA at the end of 21 and we moved here to the free state of Florida was that it just would never figure out where bottom was, that it would just keep getting worse. And I lived in a nice area in Encino and we started hearing gunshots at night. And I remember thinking, and it was at the height of the woke craziness and all of that stuff and the riots and everything else. And I remember thinking, if people knew where I lived and started breaking into my house, would the police even show up? And it was much harder to get a gun there, and we finally did. But all of the things, they quite literally changed the law so that you were allowed to put a tent on someone's private property and they wouldn't remove it. Every crazy thing that you think they do, and then someone comes by and says, I'm crazy or I'll show you crazy. And to prove that, so this is what's going on in Los Angeles right now, there are anti-ICE signs being installed across Los Angeles. Anti-ICE signs, ICE, which is just trying to get illegals out of the country, which is where they should be. They should be back in their homes, just like if you took vacation and you went to Montreal or Tokyo or Kuala Lumpur for a weekend and you just decided to stay, they would kick you out. So we're doing very basic level stuff here, but here they are in Los Angeles with anti ice signs all over the place. Well, Christine, there's more than 450 of these signs now posted across the city. Just take a look at this one. Some people like them while the feds call them politics. There goes a sign right there. A bold message now posted across Los Angeles. Signs going up declaring city property off limits for ice. The signs have no legal weight, force or effect on anything the federal government does. Federal authorities firing back saying the words are just that. Federal agents will go anywhere they need to go to enforce federal law, city property included. All right, so that's a first assistant U.S. Attorney General explaining that L.A. cannot do this. Karen Bass, yes, she can put up a sign. She can put up a sign that says ICE isn't allowed to come to this park. I think I've been to all of those parks. Like, ICE can't come here. This is a place where we want illegals to rape children and smoke crack. Could you just let us be? But what she doesn't understand, you could put those signs up till the end of the earth. However, there is something called the Constitution of the United States. It's an old document. I like it. And in it is something called the Supremacy Clause. Let me read this for you. We've done this a couple of times. The Supremacy Clause establishes that the U.S. Constitution valid federal laws enacted under it and treaties are the supreme law of the land. When federal and state laws conflict, federal law preempts, overrides state law. It resolved weaknesses in the Articles of Confederation where federal actions often lacked binding authority over the states and ensures national uniformity in areas of federal authority. So you understand that. And I say this as someone that, I'm a states rights guy, right? All the time, I'm talking about the different, the never ending laboratory we have. And in this state, they're gonna have gun laws that are this. And in this state, you're gonna have marijuana laws that are this. And in this state, you're gonna have abortion laws that are this. And the beauty of having that federalist system is that we have a laboratory that's constantly working and you can move, you don't have to leave your country if you don't like how it is, right? Canada, you have basically one set of laws for everybody. It's a massive land mass, but it doesn't matter in essence if you live, yes, there's a bit of a spirit of freedom in Western Canada that there isn't on the East, but really in the end, you're governed under the same laws whether you live in Toronto or Calgary, thousands of miles away from each other. Where in America, you can come to a place like Florida or where you're gonna be free and you can protect yourself and it's safe, or you can be in a place like California, blah, blah, blah. So she can put all of these signs up, but it is 100% within the purview of the federal government. It is one of their few responsibilities to take care of the border and deportation. So put those signs up and hopefully Trump, he's picking a lot of fights right now and he has to be judicious in what he picks, but hopefully he will send people back in. But I would just, one more thing on this, and then we'll go to New York, which is even worse. but just imagine if you're just a LA person right now, you're just an LA resident, and you wanna go to, what was it, MacArthur Park, there were a couple other parks that they showed there, and you just wanna take your kids to the park. We took our kids to the park. They had their first soccer lesson yesterday. We took our kids to the park. Now imagine in the park, there was a couple guys doing fentanyl, and maybe, I don't know, they were gang raping a grandmother, or Joseph, give me one. They were? Egging people. Egging people. Also not fun, except on Halloween. I think as a tax paying citizen of that little city, whatever city it might be, you might not want those people there. But what the mayor is saying is, she's basically putting up a sign saying, ICE can't come here. So they're saying, if you are illegal, come here, take a dump on the seesaw and we'll see what happens. That doesn't really make sense to me. But of course, it's not just Los Angeles. In New York City, the communist Islamist moron Zamboni, He is making sure that the NYPD will not work with ICE. As I've made very clear that our laws leave nothing, no room for interpretation about the fact that our NYPD will not participate in civil immigration enforcement. And I've also been very clear about my views on ICE raids as a whole. I think that they are cruel. I think that they are inhumane. I think that they do not serve any interest of public safety. I did say the F-bomb yesterday. I couldn't hold it back on one of those Tucker segments. A lot of people felt it was very cathartic. I appreciate that. I'm not gonna do it again here. But okay, so first off, again, he's in violation of the Supremacy Clause and the federal government. And I suspect what Trump's kind of doing here is Trump's going, all right, I don't know how many fights I can pick before the midterms. If the Republicans win the midterms, I think Trump then sends the feds again into these cities. But if he doesn't, he's gonna be hung up in impeachment and all sorts of other stuff. So there's a little bit of timing that just politically, it's just part of how this all works. But again, if you are a New Yorker, if you're just a tax paying decent New Yorker, and there aren't many of them left because so many of them have fleed, and you hear your mayor saying, our police won't work with the agencies who will get rid of illegals. And not only that, we will provide things for the illegals. So what you are saying is you are a sucker. You are a primo, top-of-the-line sucker because you are saying, please welcome crime and mayhem to my city, and also I'll pay for it. And also, this lunatic is going to kick out the other people who might pay for it, so I'll pay a little extra too. I think this is kind of interesting. Trump posted this on Truth yesterday. It's a lifetime contribution per immigrant. This is super interesting. So if you come from North America, now that your contribution to the United States, about $573,000. Scandinavia, about 557,000. Oceana, about 476. Japan, 525. UK, 481. Now listen to this. So those are all in the green, in essence. Now, if you come from Somalia, your drain on the US economy, 1.1 million. Caribbean, 650,000. Middle East, 624,000. Latin America, 271. Sub-Saharan Africa, 730,000. Central and North Africa, 700,000. That's just pure economic stuff. That's the source's IZA study of the Netherlands in 2024. Not every group is exactly the same. And some people do come to this country not to make the country bow to it and to import all of the things that that they fled from, but to fold into the fabric of this country. And I would say, think about your ancestors. I love playing this thought game with you because it makes me think about my own ancestors and you should know their stories. The stories of my great grandparents who came from Eastern Europe on both sides. My great grandfather who died when he was, when my grandfather was two years old and six kids and my then widowed great grandmother to be in a one bedroom apartment in a tenement building in the Lower East Side. And then my grandfather got his first job and paid him 25 cents an hour. He died when I was in second grade, but I remember him telling me that as he was teaching me golf in the backyard around 1981. And then he became almost middle class. And then my parents became solidly middle class and I've done okay. And hopefully that'll go down to my kids and everything else. That's what America is all about because we all folded into America. And then we have some people that come to America and just wanna take from America. And this is not going to hold very long. I don't know how long it can hold, but let's go to some of these other places. If you're, again, if you have a friend who thinks, oh, but it's just great in LA despite all that stuff, or it's just great in New York despite all that stuff, or it's just great in Chicago despite all that stuff. Well, in Chicago, because crime is so freaking rampant right now, and can we get the numbers on how many people were shot and killed in Chicago this past weekend? Well, Walgreens, pharmacy, that's pretty much everywhere in America, they're closing one of their stores in Chicago and the alderman of Chicago is seriously pissed. All Greens should be charged with first degree corporate abandonment. Yes. It should be a crime the way they're treating our elders. Yes. It should be a crime the way they're treating our families. Is it true that folks are stealing, they're stealing everywhere? Because when you cut jobs in people's communities and folks want to figure out how do I provide for my kids or if I can go to a store and steal a loaf of bread. Is stealing right? No. But what's wrong is first degree corporate abandonment. You're pissed at the wrong people. You're pissed at Walgreens. Think about this for a second. So Walgreens, they've got a board, I have no doubt. They look at the map. They go, where can we open stores? Every week, they probably have a weekly Zoom meeting with a couple people. They go, well, where are the stores doing well? Are we making some money? We're a business. and where are they not doing well? And they obviously looked at this store and clearly there was a theft problem and likely over time that was creating an economic problem for them And they were like all right we just gonna close The alderman of the city is now upset that Walgreens made what is likely a perfectly sane business decision where buddy, you should be pissed at, I don't know, Brandon Thompson, what the fuck? What Thompson, right? Johnson. You should be pissed at Brandon Johnson, who is absolutely horrible. You should be pissed at your governor, J.B. Pritzker. You should be pissed at all the people who create high tax, high regulation environment that doesn't allow for economic activity, right, which crushes that, that then people can't get jobs and then your argument is, so they go ahead and steal bread. As if most of the people stealing are just doing it because they're starving. Of course they're not, because I've never seen someone break into a Best Buy and be like, my God, I'm starving, I'm gonna eat a 42-inch plasma. Do they even make plasmas anymore? I feel like they would be gooey and they don't make that. Remember the plasma TV, it used to, if you left, you couldn't play video games on that thing, remember? Because if you, here's a little lesson for you kids out there that came out before the plasma TV. When the flat screens came out, they started with plasmas and because of the way it worked, the plasma screen, if you played video games and just had one image on there, it would burn it into the screen. So you would be playing video games and I don't know, Sonic or Mario or whatever, he's over here. And then you shut your PlayStation or your Nintendo off and you're watching The Simpsons and you've just got Sonic or Mario, his silhouette still on the TV. What was the point of this segment? The point is that everywhere Democrats are, well, we didn't check the numbers, 11 people were shot in Chicago this weekend, four killed. You'll never hear about any of them because it was obviously all black on black crime. And it's not, again, let's just keep going. Let's go to Philadelphia, which has a massive drug problem a massive homelessness problem. This is super interesting. A kid, a teen in Philadelphia at a public school thought it was rather curious that most of his classmates could not read. So he put a video out online. This thing went mega viral and it's gotten him now in some hot water. Read the inscript. What the does that say? Why am I reading this? No, I'm not reading this. This is a whole bunch of . The colonel asked the choir to accommodate the governor's schedule. Does that mean? He's asking the choir to accommodate the governor's schedule, right? Yeah, in your own words. There's a governor's schedule and so the colonel is asking the choir to accommodate to it. In your own words? I don't know. The colonel asked the choir to accommodate the governor's schedule. What does that mean? Right, they asked the people to sing for the governor's schedule. I don't know what this means. Okay, this is just one portion of it. He's asking for basic reading comprehension things. There are parts where people can't read at all. We know that the school standards tests and everything have been lowered. Instead of trying to make, oh, we should make things better for everybody, they go, oh my God, our school, our grades are so bad, everything's so bad, let's lower it for everybody. That is literally, I just mentioned The Simpsons, it is literally an episode of The Simpsons where Bart gets thrown into the slow class and then they're teaching them slowly and he literally, he looks at the teacher and he's like, lady, let me get this straight. We're in the slower class, so your solution is to teach us slower. It's just incredible. Well, if you saw what was on the left side of that video, that kid, all he did was ask some of his friends, students in his school for basic reading comprehension. He is now, the school board is now trying to expel him. They are not letting him go to prom and are trying to stop him from going to graduation. Think about that. Now let's contrast that. You know, one of the places that I'm constantly talking about, there is so much good happening, and I know this firsthand because I was there about 15 years ago and then we went there, Phoenix and I went there for the Bitcoin conference about three months ago, is El Salvador. El Salvador was quite literally the most dangerous place in the Western hemisphere 15 years ago. It was gang run. When I was there the first time because my brother-in-law was doing some volunteer work there, we had to live for the week that I was there in the most heavily guarded, barbed-wired fence, little community. They made it so clear to us. if you walk out of this thing for one minute to get a Coke, you will be killed. Not even to just get Coke, but to get a Coke, you will get killed. Bukele comes in, he ends the gangs. We now went to El Salvador, it is safe, it is thriving. They clearly are on their way up. As a matter of fact, we went out to dinner one night and I left, my wallet fell out of my pocket and a guy came up to me and said, is this yours? In the old days, they would have taken all your money and probably killed you. I mean, that's just a very minor example of it. But just contrasting what we just saw in Philadelphia, here is El Salvador's Escuela Americana School and a bunch of the kids talking about their school choices. Ale and the class of 2026 is super excited to share with you guys where we got accepted and where we're going. I got accepted into Northwestern, Emory, BU, and UNC Chapel Hill, and I'm going to Northwestern. Go Wildcat. My name is Mateo. I applied to UPenn and I'm going to UPenn. Hi, I'm Lucia. I got into Emory, UMICH, Babson, and the University of Virginia, where I'll be attending. Go Hoos. Hi, I'm Jorge. I got into UF, Purdue, and UM, and I'm going to UF. Go Gators. Hi, I'm Valeria. I got into UMICH, Villanova, and Notre Dame, and I'm attending Notre Dame. Go Irish. Hi, I'm Sofia. I got into UMICH, the University of Miami, and the University of Florida. And I will be attending the University of Miami on scholarship. Go Gators. All right, you know what, University of Miami girl? Let's find that girl. I don't know how to find her. We just hired a new intern who's actually at the University of Miami. We just hired her yesterday, but we'll do another one. Let's see if we can literally find that girl and offer an internship. Look, I'm not saying that there are no good schools in the United States, and I'm not saying that there aren't any places where kids dress up properly and can read and speak English and all of those things, but why is it? Why does that feel like such a stark contrast? They were a third world country a decade ago, and they're flourishing right now because they did all of the reverse things that the Democrats are quite literally doing to all of our cities right now. Here's just another, this is just video footage of what's going on on the El Salvador streets right now. And again, remember 10 years ago, mayhem, utter mayhem. Nothing to envy about Europe. Here you can already feel that European style atmosphere where you can eat outdoors, share, and enjoy the night at your own pace. You start walking and as you take in the vibe, little by little, you end up staying because the place just lends itself to that. And then you can just enjoy your food, your dinner, whatever it may be. And that's the nice thing, that it's no longer something you only see in other countries. Now you can experience this here in the historic center of San Salvador. Look how beautiful it really is. These are spaces to come with family, with friends, or even to come alone. And look at the impressive cathedral, how gorgeous it is. Again, guys, I'm not trying to be heavy-handed here, and I'm not saying there aren't places in America that are like that, right? I criticized Tucker yesterday because he was like, there's nothing good in America and look at all of our city. And that's not the truth. That isn't the truth. But the point is there are places that are choosing to go the wrong way. And then there are some places that are choosing to go the right way. So why, well, it's the endless question. Why is it that Democrats and progressives want to destroy everything? I think there are obvious answers to that, but we'll punt the giant philosophical question for another day. I wanna show you one other thing out of El Salvador. I thought this was quite moving actually. We're gonna show this to you in Spanish. There'll be an English translation. But this is a Guatemalan who's visiting El Salvador. And look how proud he is to be in a place that is safe and clean. Hey, que bonito. Es de Guate. Bienvenido. Pero yo quiero que sea Guate buena. Primero Dios, así sea. Primero Dios, te hagan el cambio. Verdadero. Que viva la vida de... Gracias. Disfrute de Salvador. For those of you listening on the audio podcast that couldn't get the translation there, you have a man in his probably early to mid-60s. He pulls out the Guatemalan flag while in San Salvador, El Salvador, and he basically says, I wish my country could be like this, as he's crying. So isn't that interesting? And it's a contrast to what happens in the West. In the West, they bring in foreign flags and they wanna turn us into those countries. He's not saying, I'm here in El Salvador, turn El Salvador into Guatemala. He's saying, I'm in El Salvador, let's turn Guatemala into El Salvador. You get it, you get it, you get it. All right, let's jump back for a second and go to a little bit of a war recap because there are some things happening right now. We've had this sort of, I don't know, about a 10-day lull as it's shifted really from a military war to an economic war. We have complete control of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is basically stopping oil production because they can't get the oil out right now. There's a lot of good things happening on that front. However, Iran just launched a bunch of attacks on the UAE who are absolutely our ally in this fight and they are not happy about it. Here's Fox. Just breaking in the last few minutes, the United Arab Emirates is now accusing Iran of hitting with two drones, striking an empty oil tanker as it made its way through the Strait of Hormuz, an attack again by two Iranian drones. At the same time, South Korea says it is now working to verify that one of its vessels was also attacked by Iran. Now, This comes as Iran is warning the United States not to interfere in the Strait of Hormuz or else. Take a look at this statement from Iran's head of the military, of their United Forces. It says, quote, we warn that any foreign armed forces, especially the aggressive U.S. army, will be attacked if they intend to approach and enter the Strait of Hormuz. All right. So while we are in this temporary pause, Iran is there. You heard it. Attacking the UAE, going after a Saudi Arabian ship. And I think, once again, the Arab states and the Gulf nations are realizing America ain't your enemy. Israel ain't your enemy. Iran is your enemy. Here's a fire breaking out on the UAE's oil industry after the drone attacks they were talking about real quick. So from an American perspective, we basically just announced that Epic Fury, the massive military success, no matter what the black pillars like Tucker and Megyn Kelly tell you, massive military success that that was is largely over. We are moving there now renaming it. It's going to be called Project Freedom, and it's going to be much more economic based. This is from Trump on Truth. Iran has taken some shots at unrelated nations with respect to the ship movement, Project freedom, including a South Korean cargo ship. Perhaps it's time for South Korea to come and join the mission. We've shot down seven small boats, or as they like to call them, fast boats. It's all they have left. Other than the South Korean ship, there has been at this moment no damage going through the strait. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Cain will have a news conference tomorrow morning. Thank you for your attention in this matter. President Donald J. Trump. So there is a shift, Iran still lashing out. We will see what happens. So I would like to end today's show where obviously we've hit the left very hard and I've tried to, as always, expose a lot of their nonsense and like we did at the top of the show, contrast that with the good stuff coming out of the red states, particularly Florida. But now let's do this at a national level. Here is Bill O'Reilly on Leland Vitter's show news nation, talking about the seeming, and it's really, it's the Tucker thing, it's the seeming fracture on the right and what Bill thinks will happen to the people who abandoned Trump. Is there room for Republicans to move away from Trump? No. That's the answer to that question, no. No? He's the ship. Carl's wrong? You're either gonna sail with it or go down with it. What Roe was talking about is that he wants the individual people running for office in November to be better campaigners, to connect with the voters in an emotional way. And of course, that would be best for the Republican Party if that were to happen. But if you think that you can cut loose the most charismatic populist president in the last 50 years, you're crazy. You can't. And if you try, you're going to get slaughtered. Yeah, not only do I agree with Bill, but I'll take it a step further and let's just, let's kind of game theory it out. So let's say you're a Republican and you abandon Trump or you somehow find common cause with the crazy lefties, right? Which is what's happening on the Tucker side of things. What will be the end result of that if you claim to be on the right at any level whatsoever? The end of that is Republicans lose the House, Trump gets impeached, we're hung up in a disaster for two years, we likely get Gavin Newsom, but it could probably be somebody even more radical than him. He may just be the placeholder again, for them to morph into their final form. So all of us, any of us that love freedom, that love this country, that wanna keep this thing going, that don't wanna turn into New York and Los Angeles and everything else, we better start coming together and we better start doing it quick. I thought we'd end with Pawn Stars' Rick Harrison. You know, I don't really watch reality shows. I have randomly seen this on the plane every now and again. It's kind of interesting. Is it still on, actually? I've seen, I guess, old episodes. Is Pawn Stars still on? We'll check on that. But this is the guy, Rick Harrison, who's always, you know, doing the bartering with all of the people talking about Trump. I just want to say he's amazing. He's done so much. I mean, so much for all of us. I mean, the backbone of this country is small business, plain and simple. and the last guy in office all you know all we heard was is that we were the evil people we were the bad people everything else like that we don't pay our fair share whatever that's supposed to be um and he made it tough and this guy the big beautiful bill absolutely amazing you know what i mean god bless you for let me letting me get 100 appreciation it really helps out um and uh all i can say is this is literally i mean i'm a history buff and i know a lot about this White House thing and everything, literally, he's going to go down as maybe the best president ever. I love this guy. You know, it's funny, guys. First up, we just checked. Pawn Stars, it's not on anymore. It was on for 23 seasons. I mean, that's killer. That's incredible. But you know, I always talk about how, you know, when someone's speaking from the heart and they're honest and they're not being duplicitous or anything, it's just obvious. Like, you listen to that guy talk right there. He's just telling you from the heart what he thinks about what this guy has done and what the previous administration did, does and everything else. And then you watch so many of these propagandists and we all know who they are. And it's so obvious they're lying. And I would say to you as the consumer, just don't be duped by these people. Like don't, why watch people who are spitting in your face and then making, they're taking your time and your attention and then making money off you. Like we all gotta level up right now. That's where we're at. Happy Cinco de Mayo everybody. We'll be knocking back a little Copal later. Drinkcopal.com. Post game show 30 seconds. Ruben Report. Dotlocals.com. See you tomorrow. you
