•Mar 15, 20263 months agoSummary
Jeremiah Byron from Bigfoot Society discusses a cluster of eight Bigfoot sightings across Ohio's Portage County between March 6-10, 2026, following a consistent migration pattern along the Mahoning River corridor. The episode covers witness interviews, investigative methodology, and comparisons to the 1978 Bigfoot flaps, with Byron detailing how he verifies reports while managing hundreds of incoming submissions.
Insights
- Witness emotional response and visceral fear during phone interviews serve as primary verification tools for legitimacy, distinct from hoax or misidentification patterns
- Strategic information gatekeeping with local researchers (Glenn Adkins/Ohio Squatch Project) prevents media momentum from contaminating investigation through copycat reports and hoaxes
- Geographic clustering along water corridors (Mahoning River) suggests animal migration patterns rather than random sightings, indicating potential territorial or seasonal movement
- Increased paranormal reporting correlates with cultural shifts post-2020, where previously dismissed phenomena gain credibility as people question institutional narratives
- Multi-witness corroboration of specific behavioral details (shoulder-turning, stilted gait, blurred facial features) across independent reports strengthens case for non-hoax activity
Trends
Cryptid research professionalization: podcast-driven investigation replacing traditional academic frameworks with crowdsourced witness networksMedia amplification effect: international news coverage of regional sightings creating feedback loops that both validate and contaminate investigative dataSeasonal cryptid activity hypothesis: emerging pattern linking Bigfoot migration to mushroom seasons and weather events rather than random occurrencePost-pandemic paranormal credibility shift: broader cultural acceptance of fringe phenomena as legitimate topics worthy of serious investigationGeographic hotspot clustering: concentration of sightings along specific corridors (rivers, mounds) suggesting environmental or territorial factorsWitness trauma-centered investigation: shift from physical evidence collection to psychological support and emotional verification as primary research methodologyCross-state activity correlation: anecdotal reports of simultaneous activity in Tennessee and Ohio suggesting coordinated or migratory patternsAI-generated report filtering: investigators developing skills to identify synthetic submissions amid legitimate reports using linguistic pattern recognition

I was like, did you notice anything about the face? And she's like, it was weird because I was looking at the face, but like, I couldn't see it because it was all blurry. And like everything was together, but I was like, oh, that's so it was kind of like, she was having a hard time describing it, but she used the actual words like it looked blurry in the face. A blurred face, brown around the face, facial hair was lighter than the rest of it. Very, very weird stuff. They go to open the door. The dog starts freaking out, lunges towards the tree line in the back of the house. And the guy looks out there and he's like, he's like, I can see something in the back tree line. It's a dark shadowy figure and it's big. And I'm like, he says, you know, I got bear on my property. And I was like, well, well, how did you know it wasn't a bear, sir? And he's like, there's no bear around here that are nine to 10 feet tall. Bigfoot's on the move. He's out there. Today we're bringing on Jeremiah Byron from Bigfoot Society who's been hot on the trail and getting hundreds of emails from people. New York Times even called him Luke and the Babylon Bee made a meme about it. The guy is out there living the dream and it's cool that he's dedicated laying into the Bigfoot space. So we're going to bring him on and we're going to ask him all the questions. What's going on in Ohio? Because a lot of our listeners are like, you need to do something. What's the news? But he's got all the, the, it's got a map on his website. He's got everything ready to go. So Luke, what is it? Breaking news doesn't happen. This is like breaking news. And then we get to talk to the guy that really put the, put the dots on the map and, and, and launched the story talking New York Times talking to Fox News, talking to all these major news outlets in this whole world's like, look at this going, what's going on in Ohio? And why we have in these, this string of sightings of Bigfoot. And so we're going to get into it today with a guy that's, that's boots on the ground that's making the reports, drawing the maps and, and has really broke the story. We're going to do a blurry Bigfoot society crossover. So if you like it, you know, join, join each side and, and get blurry or you can get, get, get into Bigfoot society and learn a lot more about the big fella, but he's out there. Baby, we're going to go back to our roots. We still show this show started with Bigfoot and we're going right back. Let's get them on and figure out what's going on in Ohio. We have Jeremiah Byron on and we're going to ask him the first question. Jeremiah, is this heaven? Or is this Iowa? What up guys? Glad to be here. It's Iowa. But thank you for, for reaching out and being like, Hey, can we do something? And I'm like, yeah, we can do something because man, Nate, we were just talking like, we talked like 900 episodes ago on the Bigfoot Society podcast and like Luke, it's great to meet you. Finally. It's so good to be here, man. It's a meeting of the minds here. This is welcome to Blurred Creatures. Beautiful. And we started with Bigfoot and we're going back. So, so tell us what's going on. What are your thoughts on Bigfoot? But you have probably more thoughts than most. I have a lot of thoughts. Well, I look at a few different ways, guys. So, you know, with, with my podcast, Bigfoot Society, like why I do it is I provide a place for people to share their encounters and work through it and kind of get through that trauma. But over the last few years, like I have gotten out in the woods and myself and like things have gotten weird and they've gotten blurry and dudes like, I don't know what it is out there, but like there is something I think how I view it is it's a physical creature because I've seen the tracks. I've seen something that peeled a banana that was a little bit more than a little bit something that peeled a banana that was left in the woods at 30 miles out in Oregon. And then it ate it and left a 17 inch track near the tree. And like I've seen some blurry stuff, dude. So I think it's like some kind of physical creature that can just do some quantum science. I don't know what kind of stuff, but it gets weird, man. Yeah. I love it, dude. Quantum. Almost, almost nobody more qualified to give us their thoughts on Bigfoot. I love doing this. Funny, Jeremiah, we do this. We've done this for the show now for 400 and something episodes and it started out as like, you know, honest opinions from guys like Dr. Jeff Meldrum and. Rest in peace. The late grade. Yeah, the late grade and some of those early big folks that we had on the show, but now it's become more of an icebreaker because you're asking theologians and whoever, man. I mean, Dusty Slay, Hardy, we're asking all these guys that they think about Bigfoot, but it's fun to get back to it and be like, listen, Dusty Slay. Nice. Deal. He had interesting answers. We try to get, you know, we try to get the broader community into the nerdery that is Bigfoot, but you. I love it. You go headlong into the, into the data, talking to the people. Every day is Bigfoot for you. And listen, dude, it is hot right now, dude. This is crazy. I mean, it's what's going on. All the major news outlets are covering these. Did you start going on in Ohio? Yeah, what's happening? You've been running around a suit. What are you doing out there? Dude, it's, it's so much. It is so much. And I didn't, man, I just got, I just got probably tell the story. Like, yeah. Yeah. All right. So here's how it goes. Right. So we're just going to launch into it. Um, so for social media stuff on Bigfoot society, when there's a online Bigfoot database that does reports, right? And I'm like, I'll make a video about that. That'll be great for the channel. You know, it'd be fun. Get the word out, right? And usually it's kind of like not much response. So on the 6th of March, which one is, when this all started in Manoway center, Ohio, northeast Ohio, right? So there is an individual and this is over on the Bigfoot mapping project, which is a great Bigfoot map site. You got to check that out. So he took a report or got sent into his website there where a individual had seen a large bipedal cryptid, a big foot, about nine foot tall, brown. And it was about 120 yards from him. And then it started moving away because it knew that it was there. So I made the video. And then the next day I got someone reached out on TikTok and I was like, oh, that's weird. So I was talking to this guy and he was like, yeah, we had a sighting on, uh, on the 7th at 10, 52 PM, where we're, we're just kind of hanging out, walking around in, uh, on this trail. And there was something with heavy footsteps, deeper in the trees, steps were slow spaced out and much heavier. And then they saw what they're saying is a, uh, eight foot tall, uh, brown haired Sasquatch, and then it pretty much did a deep grunt that echoed through the woods and they stepped back, right? Okay. So I was like, that's weird. And then like, you don't get those doubles like that. Usually I'll make one about Oregon and then it's business as usual. Right. So then on the ninth is where it got pretty wild. So there's another report on the Bigfoot mapping project on in Garrettsville, which is you're going east. If you're looking at the map that I've put together, you're headed east and it's your headed east about three miles. This whole sighting quarter is about 12 miles long. So Garrettsville, and this one's kind of a short one. There's an individual that was like, I was walking through the woods. I saw an eight foot black Sasquatch looking creature, got scared. And so really basic, but I was like, you know what, I'm going to throw it out here cause this needs to be documented and there's a pattern showing up. Right. So then this individual reached out to me on Tik Tok and they were like, yeah, an hour ago around 1147 and this gentleman wants to be anonymous. We had this wild thing happen. And I was like, would you talk on the phone? Cause at this point, I'm like, I got to start talking to people on the phone and make sure if this is legit or like just people that are sending in reports. And, and, you know, maybe it's just a coincidence, right? I need to, need to really look into this. So talk to this guy. He was shook up. He was in Garrettsville hiking on this trail. Called a headwaters trail. And the story goes that they had, they saw a, they saw a 10 foot tall black haired Sasquatch that was in the woods. And I was like, did you see anything weird about this guy? Like, was he doing anything weird? And the witness was like, well, it's about 30 feet away. It grunted at us. And when, when it turned, it didn't turn its neck to look. It had to turn its shoulders. And I was like, oh man, okay. It's part of time. And then I was like, is there anything else? And, and the guy was like, well, it looked like he was on stilts. And he's just acting. He was, he was walking weird. The way he was walking was very weird. And I was like, okay. So I'm trying to like, you know, process through this. And then a few hours later, I get another contact. This time it's starting to come through email. I'm like, oh man. And like more and more and more showing up. Same day, March 9th at 6pm. This time we're over in Wyndham. So it's starting to move southeast now, just a few miles away. This older lady is in her house. She's a skeptic. She's looking through the window at the woods outside. She says approximately a hundred feet away from the house. She sees a six foot tall brown Sasquatch run out of the neighbors woods and then run back into the neighbors woods. Her quote was, this is pretty cool. She says, I know what I saw, but I don't know what I saw. And I was like, oh man, that is like so wild. That's so telling of like she's just very and I'm talking to to she's there. Her daughter is there and like, they're emotional. They're worked up. They're like, I don't know what's going on. Like what we saw. So there's that. And then a little bit later in the week, I got another report from March 9th. So same day, but this is at 8pm. If you look on the map, it's further west over by Streetsboro. But what happened was this lady and her daughter driving her their car from Streetsboro to Hudson and they're driving down the road by Tinker's Creek. And all of a sudden there's this big foot walking down the road in their land of traffic towards them. And it's to the point where like it's doing the weird, like kind of bent forward or leaning forward and stilted type walks. So two, two forms of stilted right there, two, two witnesses. And she's like, I had to like swerve to get out of the way in my daughter. If she had put her arm out the window, she would have hit it with her arm. It was so close. It was like a few feet away. Here's the part where it gets blurry, gentlemen, because I told you before, I was like, don't worry, there's a little bit of blurriness about it. I was like, did you notice anything about the face? And she's like, it was weird because I was looking at the face, but like I couldn't see it because it was all blurry. And like everything was together. But I was like, oh, that's so it was kind of like she was having a hard time describing it, but she used the actual words like it looked blurry in the face. A blurred face, brown around the face, facial hair was lighter than the rest of it. Very, very weird stuff. Then we move on to the next day. So now we're on the 10th. We're continuing to go further southeast to Newton Township. So this is the 10th. It's early morning. I get I'm getting tons of email now. I'm here real quick. So I was I had to I was curious, maybe some listeners are too. When we looked up Portage County, Ohio, I just did it here. So I could I could orient myself. Garrett'sville is 45 miles southeast of Cleveland and 35 miles northeast of Akron. So we're talking about a region between Cleveland and Akron. Is that is that correct as far as so? Because I'm trying to picture in my head. OK, so where in Ohio are we? Like is that so? So this is a great, great question, actually. No one's really asked this. So if you go to Bigfoot Society, podcast, calm and citing map, I have these on map pins as well. But so pretty much we're looking at you look at Cleveland and then you go do east of Cleveland and it's like that area between Cleveland and Youngstown. That's where it's happening. OK, all right. That's good. So this is yeah, you know, if anyone's been to Cleveland. Oh, yeah, got out mistake by mistake by the lake. You know, that's the we're not too far from Cleveland rocks. So you know, I'm talking about. No, I listen to people are. Hey, in Cleveland, people understand, right? There's two seasons. There's winter and then there's row construction. So all my Cleveland people stand up. It's but yeah, I was just trying to worry myself because, you know, I was. Here. Yeah. OK, continue. So we're making it to the 10th. We may get in the 10th. Let me make some points. Like, you know, there's a lot of folks that make reports. And right, of course, the skeptics first question is always our first responses. Like it's misstatification. We're looking at like there's bears out there, black bears, those kind of things. You know, when you're taking these reports and when you're talking to people, you know, how do you zero in on like being like, let's eliminate a couple of things here so we're not there are a couple of things I heard from you was one is like a bear turns its neck. I've seen enough bears in Northern California. They don't have to move their whole body, you know, to look at you. That's how Patty looks. She just turns her whole body. Dude, yeah, just beef cake to do. Nice. Yeah. Just a linebacker out there. There's just like, yeah, like she got a cowboy collar on it. Yeah, moving her neck. Yeah. Continue, though. But I suppose, yeah. OK, how are you? How are you working away to be like, hey, this feels like the best. It actually have you drawn a map? Have you drawn the line? Oh, I have. I have drawn. OK, so I was like, this is so crazy. I got to go full scale draw a map guy on this. And I I was like, man, I'm putting stuff in like Canva and I'm going all like, I'm not a graphics guy, but I was like, this time I'm being graphics guy. And it is like it has been very effective because I I can send it over to you guys too. Yeah, for sure. But yeah, so Nate or Luke, as you as you asked, so one thing I was asking these witnesses when I'm talking to you, because I'm talking to everyone on the phone now and I'm like, you know, one of the questions and this actually comes in to play with the new Newton Township one, which is on the 10th. You'll find out about that actually right now. So there's a gentleman where he he sends an email to me and I'm having to shift through tons of emails right now. There's a lot of like AI generated stuff, you can tell, because it's got the m dashes and like not this, but this. And I'm like, OK, fake. And then a lot of like old pictures that are from the early 2000s. I'm having to do reverse image search and Google on these things. And so there's a lot of like pre-work to get to the point where I'm like, OK, this sounds, you know, kind of good. I'm going to see if you even get me in phone numbers. So the new township anonymous individual. He reaches out early on the 10th and I'm like, hey, can I have your phone number? Because it's very like straightforward, very short statement. I need to talk to someone and I'm like, OK, this I got a feeling. So I talked to this guy. He is super emotional. He's worked up. He's like, I want to be anonymous and I just never want. I do this is it. I'm talking one time and this is it. Right. So 4 a.m. He gets up. He has to take his German shepherd out. They hit they go to open the door. The dog starts freaking out. Lunges towards the tree line in the back of the house. And the guy looks out there and he's like, he's like, I can see something in the back tree line. And it's a dark shadowy figure and it's big. And I'm like, he says, you know, I got bear on my property. And I was like, well, well, how did you know it wasn't a bear, sir? And he's like, there's no bear around here that are nine to ten feet tall. Wow. And I'm like, OK, so that's pretty substantial. So he immediately is like, we got to get back inside. This is wild. When they get back inside, the German shepherd dog is shaking uncontrollably. It's never done that before. It is just freaking out. And so that's three 10 at 4 a.m. Right. So that's Newton Township. A little bit later. I take a report where it's an older, anonymous lady. And she's very salt of the earth, very straightforward, very like, you know, I'm not messing around. This is what happened. I just want to figure it out and you'd want to have her on your side. Right. So it's down in the Lake Milton area. So again, we went east, now southeast, and it's kind of going down there. So what happened was she saw something that looked reddish brown, rust, rust color. It was about seven feet tall and it was 200 feet away from her house. She was looking out from the window in her house and it was going towards the pond in the backyard, one under a tree and the underbrush and it disappeared in the woods. And I was like, did it vanish completely or did it just go into the brush? And she was like, it went into the brush, did not vanish. OK, because if it's blurry, you got to ask, right? So she's like, I saw a view of the side of the back. It wasn't shaped like a deer because I was starting to ask this question, Luke, that you brought up. I was like, I got to start asking because there's bear out there. I was like, why would you say this was not a bear? She was like, few things. The color, the big, fat round arms. And very, very muscular. So those are the the the three things that she pointed out. She's like, I haven't checked the area for tracks because she's been busy. It was also leaning forward as it ran. So it was on two legs. Big deal there. She's like, I just feel curious about what the heck it could have been. That's what she said. So that is that is the eight sightings that happened in five days from March 6th to March 10th. And it's been wild. This hasn't been anything like this since the late 1970s when all the flaps happened around the US. How many different Sasquatch are involved, you think? That's a great, great question, Nate. So if you think about the different colors and you think about, you know, people are seeing different heights. I mean, that tells you that there is there's definitely more than one. There's either a group or there's individuals kind of moving along a route. And then that's a whole question in itself because it's like, well, why are they moving all down this route? Is this a migration thing? Yeah, some people are Sasquatch migratory, right? But some people are there. Well, maybe it's an every five year mating ritual. Who knows? I'm like, OK, or maybe it's because the weather is so weird that they're like, let's get out of dodge before the tornadoes that came in with the eight inch hail, you know, and all that crazy stuff. So there's a lot of questions that are being asked right now. Do you have reports that happen where once Sasquatch can create a lot of commotion in like a town and then it's the same Squatch that's just messing with? Going rogue. He's just going rogue, rogue splotches. Yeah, that what that happens. You've talked to Tom Sewed, you know, you know, I talked to him too. He's a great guy. So I'm thinking of I was talking to my buddy Steve Coles the other day, and he was telling me about how back in the early 2000s, there was a lot of sightings of a similar Sasquatch over there in White Hall, New York, which is a super active area. He's kind of expert over there. But that's kind of why this is unique, too, because it's like you look at the map and you can literally follow the route as it goes along. It's just it's just super, super weird, unique. You know, some people get really into it and they are like plotting out on a map like, OK, this happens this time of year, this this year. And so you're seeing maybe certain ones show up in certain areas of the U.S. On this year or this year, but like to see it all together like this, very unique. And Jeremy, I found following here is like there's like three brown sightings with a consider brown and three that were probably black. There's a black there's a black shadow, right? It could be, I guess, either or. But you have this mix. Are they following a trail like a route that would be something that would make sense? Like. So, Luke, fantastic question. Yes, yes, you absolutely have it. So this I've talked to a few people in the email about this and a lot of locals are reaching out to me and they're like, dude, the pattern that people aren't realizing yet is that this kind of follows the Mahoning River corridor. So it's kind of like following a river. And that's not from my research. That's just from different individuals that have told me that from the area. So, you know, take that, you know, look into it as well yourself. But that's kind of a pattern of like it's following a river corridor system in a way. Which makes sense. What you do is an animal or a person, you know, you're you follow the water. Follow the creeks just like the Boggy Creek. No red heads out there. No red heads, no red ones. Well, I mean, yeah, there's like a rust rusty to Lake Milton one. Not that he's called rusty, but maybe they can. They kicked those ones out right away. They just get out of here. Yeah, but they're the most beautiful. The one that the woman saw in Alaska. She was not a red. He was a beautiful red squash. A beautiful red squash. That's great. So, Jeremiah, let me ask you this. The last sighting that you have on your on this list that we just talked about was on the 10th and as you sit here, it is the Friday the 13th. Oh, it is interesting. Anything you got anything pop up in your inbox? You got anything from the site? You know, moving more in this direction, which seems to be what is it? Southeast, Easterly? Is that correct? Is it moving southeast really? Is it, you know, is there anything? Is anything popped up and to you? What's the latest breaking on this? I know you're doing doing some of the rounds on on some of these these big media sites talking about this story. But, you know, we're probably what? We sit three days out from the last. Yeah, absolutely. Anything, anything new or anything? So, yeah, a little bit of explanation there about why there has been almost a like there are videos a lot and stuff going on and now there's not what's going on. So that's as a question needs to be addressed. So. When this first started out, there was an individual that reached out from the area. And his name is is Glenn Adkins with the Ohio Squatch Project local guy. And 30 30 year veteran with the Sasquatch Research. He was a protege of Robert W. Morgan, which if you're a big foot nerd, you get how big a deal that is. And so right away, we have spent hours on the phone since the sixth and. Talking through through what is going to be best in this situation is. We decided that if because there's hundreds coming in, so I'm having to weed through them all and then call people that feel where it's legit. And then what I'm doing is I'm giving the information over to Glenn if they want to be contacted so that investigation can happen in an area without the waters being muddied because I made a video about it. And then everyone's like, oh, yeah, I saw it there too. So so it's it's kind of transitioning from a thing where we want to make sure that the right research is happening. And that might make the the news cycle not be as amazing, but the main goal is to figure out what's going on here, you know, so I didn't I didn't thought about that, Jeremiah, because it was just becomes gets more and more momentum and conversation. The likelihood that you get hoaxes or people just calling into pranks. So it is very high, right? Because everybody kind of wants to get a piece of of this. So you've got, yeah, as you know, as a scientist, which is people may be like, it's a big foot, but you know, people that treat this subject matter, this space is scientific scientifically so that there's credibility. Right. So this is the whole point to a lot of this. Sure. You have to treat these reports like like a skeptic and also like a scientist and verify them. And I think, you know, to your point, that becomes increasingly difficult as this story gains momentum because in the age we're in, people want to want to troll. They just want that that light. Yeah. And so, you know, I've talked I've had over a thousand episodes on big foot societies. So the way I'm looking at it through the lens of like, OK, I know how a person communicates when they have had an experience. It's different than a person is where it's like, oh, hey, it was such a fun time. It's different, right? It's it's usually way different. So that has those hours and hours and hours of interviewing people have really paid off in the last few days, big time. So that's awesome. So, yeah, when was the last time this something like this happened? Literally, if if we're looking at like when it was, well, the equivalent Nate, I would think would be 1978 because all the flaps were happening all over the US. You can pretty much look in any state in the US in 1978 and there's massive big foot activity and they were called flaps. And that's when you had, you know, and when I say flap, I'm like, you know how John Keel used to go around and document everything and like Mothman and Bigfoot and all that good stuff. We're talking about Bigfoot specifically. Now, there have been, as I mentioned before, like, you know, Steve Coles, there was a little group of around, I think, five or six over by Whitehall. But if we're talking about something where it got like really intense in like the whole, I mean, right now it's international news. Like the whole world is looking at what's going on in Ohio. And I would say the late 70s is the last time. So our generation of Bigfooters have never experienced anything like this before. Wow. You think other than like them like moving, let's just let's just say this is this is not this is not a natural thing. We're just and we're looking at something that's sort of busy and abnormal. It seems abnormal, at least from the reporting since the 70s. Although, you know, based on what we've heard on the show, you know, a lot of so that's much of a pretty remote, like to be left alone for the most part. And so these things could have to be in there be happening in other places that could be moving like this. But as far as document is in 70s, you know, well, other than like a weather thing, is there any other? Do you have any other hypothesis on why this is happening or why people are in? Why does it? Exactly. Yeah, there is one that freaks me out a lot as a Midwestiner. And that is a few people have been like, well, maybe it's the fault line by Illinois. That's that's due to go anytime. I like, dude, don't even like say that because like, if that happens, I was done like I'm going to see you later. You know, well, it's heaven time really. So that's cool. But you get to get all your questions answered. That's one positive, right? That is really true. Yeah. Are you going out there? That's the one other thing that's come up, Luke. Yeah. Yeah. It's interesting. And so what I'm reading on your side here, and I'll I'll I know you say this anyway, but just people listening, that based on the trajectory, you're you're guessing that approximate movement about approximately three miles a day and that since this last in the 10th, that the West Branch State Park, the Lordstown Corridor and Milton Township would have been in the range of the last few days for sightings, encounters, vocalizations, etc., sort of any sort of any sort of activity. Sure. And what do you what are you telling people out there to to do if they've had an encounter, I tell them to reach out to the to the site or they to, you know, what's the best way to serve someone to report this and not have it get lost in, you know, I watched to listen, I'm a big like true crime. Netflix watched the the Murder Dog. I was called the murder shows, right? But you realize then that when they when there are big crimes, people get thousands of tips, right? And the job, the job of an investigator detective is to like something to pick high profile stuff, Elizabeth Smart, or whatever it is, big kidnapping cases, there's like thousands upon thousands of tips that come in and the job of investigators to try to figure out what is real. So are they send those if they get it's a great question, man. Because, yeah, at this point and we don't know when it's going to stop. And that's the thing, right? Which kind of freaks me out a lot. So, you know, if you're wanting to report it to Bigfoot Society directly, you can my email is bigfootsocietygmail.com. There are other organizations that I'll throw out that are great researchers. I mean, you've got the BFRO, you can go to bfro.net. You can go to whatape.org, which is the NWAC guys out of Southeast Oklahoma. But they have researchers all over the US. You have a Bigfoot mapping project if you want to report it somewhere as well. But if you're trying to be like, I kind of want someone to check this out. Those would be some great options. I apologize. I might be leaving someone out and that's not on purpose. So, yeah, that's how it is. Too much Bigfoot on the brain. Oh, nice, Nate. You can't keep it all under wraps. I mean, those stories get lost too. I mean, you get them all day long. It's going to happen. Yeah. So what do you think is coming next? Is it going to ramp up or is it going to slow down or are they moving on? The head in Florida, where are they going? I think there's some really interesting investigation going on right now that will be really interesting and do some really I'm just I can't it's going to get weird. It's really going to get weird, guys. And and I don't want to be that guy, but I just like if we're going to keep things. The investigation pure, I really can't. But there is stuff that's being actively looked at by people right now in this area that is still happening. So it's not like it's just like, oh, off switch. No, it's just it's kind of in the background for a little bit. So I think that. You know, I talked to people. A lot of researchers from the area. I think my friend, Ashley, Ashers was saying, you know, this this can happen some years because if you follow when the mushrooms come into season, that can bring it. So that's it. And that's kind of interesting to think about. Right. So there's all these like the thing is that the information is not in all one area. And it's like you have to get some from this guy and from this guy and like figure out what's happening. But yeah, I don't know. Some people like, well, maybe they're going to spring break in Lake Milton, but you know, it's funny. I tried. I tried to get this crazy lady that picks mushrooms to come on the show years ago. She wouldn't do it, but she had all these wild. They're fun to talk to. It's out there. Bigfoot's just tripping out in the woods. Just doesn't know where he is. And Jeremiah, my one of my final questions on this one is Lucy is like, what convinces you this this is legit and not yeah, this is sort of not a coincidental string of of reports. I mean, because what people will say, right? And if people say this is ridiculous, this is misadvification, or they're saying like a lot of people will say in spaces like ours is oh, you're just finding a straight line and connected where you want to write this. This is just, you know, you're looking at it at a coincidence and a bunch of misadvifications that happen to draw a semi straight line. What what how are you convinced and what convinced you this is something that's real, it's really happening. So what convinced it for me and this is where I've had some really interesting conversations over the years with different individuals that look at this different ways, which is great because conversations like that are helpful for healthy for everyone. And what what did it for me was when I started to talk to the witnesses over the phone and there was a visceral response in a way that I haven't heard since I've been able to interview people face to face in Oak Ridge, Oregon and the Willamette National Forest. And I was like, there was just something there. I was like, these people are going through it. They definitely saw something and they are freaked out of their mind. So for me as a person who is focusing on the human experience and helping the people, the witnesses work through their trauma, that is really what I focus on. I know there's other investigators that are like, show me tracks and I wish we could find some really good track photos and there might be some out there that I just haven't seen yet. I mean, there's so much so much to this that I'm I'm not keeping like the story is living on its own now. And there are Bigfoot researcher groups from all parts of the nation gathered in this one area and like it is going to be the story is going to take years to unravel of what really happened in Portage and Trumbull County in 2026. A palpable fear. So you say like you say these people like they experienced something that like they legitimately scared them. I haven't seen a sense of Oregon. How much do you think it just gives people permission to talk about it? What if it's like everyone's seeing the Ohio Squatch? It's like they feel like they come out versus like maybe Bigfoot's always up to something, but people just don't feel compelled to tell their encounter story. So I think, Nate, that that's something that's actually been happening over the last few years and a lot of us in the community have been trying to figure it out. If it's a thing where just because there's more Bigfoot podcasts that are in the limelight that people feel because there is a lot coming out. And so is it that they feel empowered or is it at the point where people are like, I have nothing left to lose and we're in a crazy spot as a world. I need to share this and just let's have fun guys, you know, and like get the truth out. I think it's a combination, to be honest. Or if it just feels like it's ticking up and more people are coming, then. Then I feel, oh, yeah, I can talk about this. I'm kind of right with you, though, Jeremiah. I think that like we've seen the show, right? And we cover a lot of things, not just the Bigfoot space, not as much as we did at the beginning, either, right? Right. Right. But I think a lot of I think things like what everyone went through collectively in 2020 has opened a lot of people's eyes to to a list. And if this can happen, then a lot of these things that people talk about, maybe, you know, are are legit and not just relegated to the realm of conspiracy. And I think there's always that meme that says like conspiracy theorists are about a thousand right, like that, you know, when you get when you need to apologize to your conspiracy theorist friend, etc. And if there's some of that going to play to where people are like, you know, the things that we were told to not look at, not believe and to sweep under the rug, maybe there's a lot more legitimacy to what what's going on here. Yeah, they're they're ready to talk for sure. And I think. But you know, you kind of bring up a good point there, which is at this point where everyone knows what's going on and it is all over the news. There. This is why, like, the investigation really needs to start to happen, because there are probably people out there that are, I mean, they're putting up Bigfoot Science and they're wearing Bigfoot costumes and I would recommend, guys, do not do that, please. For safety. Don't do it. Yes, because someone out there has a gun and has their 30 30 and they're like, I'm going to bag this guy's. Well, we know. Yeah. So we know Ohio is a very haunted place, a very placeful mounds. Is there anything associated with all the other creepy stuff that goes on in Ohio? With Bigfoot Sightings, you think? So is there are there other Bigfoot Sightings in Ohio? Well, I just I just we know, like Fritz Zimmerman came on and talked about all the giant mountains and he he specifically has a theory that these mounds sort of manufacture cryptid creatures, which is a wild idea. But that's a long full episode, if you want. So I'll tell you something. This actually isn't out yet, but I was talking to an individual from down in Adams County, which is southern Ohio by the Ohio River by the mounds. And I was like, I actually brought that up. I was like, is this happening to do with the mounds? And he's like, well, actually I was going to the mounds and there's a gift shop there. And lo and behold, there was a worker there and we got talking about Bigfoot. And she was like, I got Bigfoot on my home property. I've had investigators out three times and like she's working at the mounds place. I mean, it's crazy, you know, but that southern Ohio is bonkers as well. I mean, really the whole state, if you look on BFRO or Bigfoot Mapping Project or Bigfoot Society Sighting map, I mean, Ohio is is crazy when it comes to reports. They want to be number one, Jeremiah, they want to be the number one Bigfoot. They do. And Oregon and Washington, that could be hard to get past them, but they're close. They got a pretty good stranglehold on there. But where we go? Good. The great Sasquatch migration of 2026 is under way. We're in the middle of it. Jeremiah Byron, Bigfoot Society. Just add it to the list of weird things that have already happened. I know, and we're in March. So what's coming? Are the squash coming out of the woods and this is the this is their year? Oh, boy. I guess so, dude. I don't even want to think about what might be happening in the PNW when I go out there later, man, could get wild. Any other states like hot or just Ohio? I've been hearing. So right now, my focus is so like it is a thousand percent on Ohio, as you can guess, right? I've been hearing little whisperings where people are starting to say, like, oh, well, a lot of weird stuff's happening in Tennessee with Bigfoot, too. Like over in, you know, like was it called like Middle Central, like Salina County? You know that area? Yeah. And so I haven't been able to verify that. But I find it interesting that I'm starting to hear it from different places. People are like, we're seeing them a lot more. So I don't I don't know, guys, there could be something else going on. But right now it's it's so higher. We're bust, man. If it gets hot here, come on down. We'll go out. We'll knock on some doors. We've got a very we've got a we've got a ginger we can use as bait. Yeah. And his face is he's willing. He's willing to enable. There you go. Just be me and a family of red squatches and Luke would have to be gone. I'd be like, how do I carry this blurry torch? Nate's found his people. Be like the end of Harry and the Hennerson's. Oh, yeah. Right. They're all there. We just didn't see him. Well, Jeremiah, thanks, man. It's it's wild. And tell our listeners where they can hang out with you and get real deep in the Bigfoot trenches. Oh, yeah, absolutely. So guys, if you like listening to witnesses that have had Bigfoot encounters, I'm releasing right now it is at least five episodes a week. And so well over a thousand episodes to listen to, you can find all the links at Bigfootsocietypodcast.com, all the socials. If you have a Bigfoot sighting to report that you've had an experience, please reach out to me at Bigfootsocietygmail.com. It will be a few days, but I will get back to you as I have just hundreds coming in right now, but I will make sure that I do look at that email. So five episodes a week. You are a machine. I was doing seven. You're a machine. You're good for you. You're taking some vacation time. If you give me weird stuff and you don't want to interview them, send them our way. Because well, you have, you have actually, you have some weird things. Oh, yeah. I was looking for email and I'm like, this is this is in your wheelhouse, not mine. And we're like, yeah, well, thank you, sir. Yeah, exactly, dude. You were true. We were looking for giant encounters. If you got a giant, oh yeah, for sure. Send them our way. There is there is a lot of those happening too. You know, it's just. Oh, really? It's just getting weird. Yeah. I mean, a lot is a relative term for Nathan Henry. There's there's more than zero. So that would be a lot of giant encounters. Yeah, yeah. So I just paranormal activity seems to be on the rise in terms of just the overall gauge of messages, other people posting stuff. It just seems like it's it's ramping up. It's pretty heavy for some reason. And I don't know if I mean you could look at it so many. It's all what your worldview is. Is it is it the end times? Or is it because the Schumann resonance is going crazy and the veil is getting thinner? It all depends on what your worldview is, I guess. But yeah, Schumann. It's a yes. And I'm not an expert on it, but it's called the Schumann resonance, I think. And it's it's this graph you can see. And if it's like a certain color, then it's like, uh-oh, things are going to get weird. So I don't know. Dude, I'm just a big foot guy. Nate, so. Well, if they turn, if that if that migration route turns to Iowa, you may have a lot more on your hands. It'll be the field of dreams out there. I will be. Oh, man, when though, I'm proud of you. I mean, maybe they just like you built Bigfoot Society. So here we come. Hey, this is rad too, because we kind of started our pods at around the same time. And it's been cool to be like we did. And you've been crushing it, working hard. You're a solo man out there on the Bigfoot Trail. And you, yes, sir, you pushed through all the adversity to keep going. And you did it. We're proud of you. We're fans, dude. We're big fans. Thank you. Bro. Thank you guys. Likewise, my friends. Yeah. And it all started with Bigfoot podcasts. It wouldn't be to blurry without someone out there. You know, Sasquatch Chronicles was was pumping out stuff long before everybody. Yeah, Wes is Wes is an OG. I mean, without without Wes, I mean, yeah. Who does OG dude? Well, I like it. Maybe what's the weirdest Bigfoot story to end this for you? Over a thousand. I will share. The weirdest Bigfoot story. I'll share a favorite and my listeners are going to be like, I know which one. But here we go. So, you know, Mount Hood out in Oregon. I've climbed it twice. You've climbed Mount Hood. Twice, dude. My dude. OK, wow. The drop of the hat. Like that's amazing. And if you will, let me real quick. I climbed it twice with an organization that's now called Atlas Free. And we did to raise money to combat human trafficking and support of course, safe houses and curriculum for those who trafficked out of there. And actually, that's how we started a meeting with folks from Duck Dynasty, climbed with John Luke Robertson. And that's that turned into something, you know, on our end. Super cool. But yeah, let me do. I know this place very well. OK, so that was good. I'm out. Yeah, you know it. Yeah. So the one of the weirdest stories. I've got a lot of weird stuff that the weirdest Bigfoot story I've gotten was an individual was out there camping with his buddy at a campsite, a little outside of Mount Hood. It's nighttime. They have a glow stick out there messing around. They walk over to this creek area, throw the glow stick down at the creek. And they're like, oh, man, I really want that glow stick back. I got to get it back. So they go and look over, see where it is. They see something that's large, some dark creature on the ground. And they're like, is that a cougar? And then all of a sudden the cougar turns into something like it stands up on its two legs. And it's like eight to nine feet tall, at least. But then here's where it gets super weird is that Bigfoot or whatever's or giant or whatever. I'm going to go with Bigfoot. It turns into a cloud of misty fog. And then it goes over the creek and just, you know, the smoke monster from Lost. That's what I that's what I think we're dealing with the visual there. But that's one of the weirdest thing. And the weird thing is, is that I've also heard of that happening in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. And that was an interview that happened the day after the Mount Hood interview. So that person would not have been able to hear the Mount Hood interview. And it was a weird synchronicity, dudes. Wow. Wow. Yeah. So what did they get the glow stick back? How does it end happy? No, they were freaked out of their mind and never went back again type. Yeah, leave the leave the glow stick where it is. The glow stick guys. I mean, that's like the mist, the the the shekaina, the cloud. Very, very biblical. Except that's the one God himself. Well, I know, but I'm just saying we want to go there. No, I'm just saying it's not a story that you didn't scratch your head when you read that in the Bible. What is what is that like? It was called Gorillas in the Mist. Oh, there you go. Yeah, sure. Sure. I got injured playing that at a youth group, by the way. You did what? We played Gorillas in the Mist and they fogged the whole youth group room and you had to run from one side to the other. Some I went to the ER room. That's like a blind and so it closed the line. I split my head up stupid stupid escape. The kid that got hurt. Some some guy was running full speed through that that room. It's ensued. That would have been me in a monkey suit of all things. Not that big. That would have been me. Anyway, Gorillas in the Mist. I don't know. Turned out as wild. I love it, dude. Thank you. I've spent a lot of time at Mount Hood. Yeah, I could see a place as little as different. Oh, and if I could do it. So if people like reading stuff like that, I have a siting map on my website, bigfusssocietypodcast.com. I have over a thousand weird reports like that where you can click on the pin, read the report and then go to the episode to hear the interview. So if you like that, get right into it. Thanks, dude. This has been a Big Foot update with Byron. No, appreciate it, man. Thank you and keep going out there. Keep it squatchy. I will do. Thanks, guys. Thanks to you. I hope Big Foot migration. Yeah. Oh, wait, I owe. Yeah. See you later. All right.
