Insights
  • Authentic relationships and loyalty in hip-hop are increasingly rare and valuable as the industry becomes more transactional and disposable
  • Regional hip-hop dominance requires sustained cultural investment and mentorship across generations, not just individual hits
  • Artists who maintain relevance over decades do so by evolving their brand while staying true to core identity and community roots
  • Television and entertainment expansion for rappers requires intentional preparation and respect for the craft, not just opportunistic appearances
  • Street credibility and artistic credibility are separate currencies that can coexist but require deliberate management

This is an I Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. Hey, Hank Santgreer, hope you're savia. It's your boy N-O-R-E. What up, it's DJ EFN. And it's drink chance, motherfucking podcast. Make some noise! And right now I'm gonna introduce some of our guests. These hands down wanna hip hop greatest personalities. When people ask me who's the greatest personality, I say it's Trick Daddy, Young Drow, and N-R-E. You include yourself in that? I have to. You hear him, Johnny. I'm just that dope. But this guy's hauled down the south. You know what I'm saying? Been down with T.I., made his own hits. Come out countless, continue to be ruthless, continue to be relevant out here. He's the South Prince. Again, one of the most wonderful personalities ever in hip hop right now, who I'm introducing, is my boy Young Drow, the car ain't got no room. Yeah! We be in the city. Now, again, that's my first question. I ordered the Kevin Hart movie the other day now, what? And the first thing he comes out to is, we be in the city! How'd it have to feel? Man, when they told me, he was like, yeah, they're gonna use it. I went to make sure, so I went to the bootcamp. When it came on, when it went off, I got up, I'm like, yeah, that's all I need to see. Yo, that was all dope. You got it, yeah. You feel what I'm saying? Yeah, that was a beautiful moment for you. Because that's the first thing you see, like after he does a little film thing, like intro to it, and then he comes out to y'all wrecking. I mean, for me to even get that call for that to even go through, I'd shout out to Kevin Hart for it, because he went viral with, like every song I do, he go viral with it, he was dancing to it. So it was love. It's always love for Kevin Hart, thank you, my love. Now, did you know that? Like, because I've realized that, although you talk about Atlanta, like on the hook, you don't say Atlanta, so a lot of other cities will take this song and be like, we be in the city. But although you were talking about Atlanta, though, correct? I mean, well, I didn't wanna just put the cap on it, because, you know, it's the countryside. It's the city. You feel what I'm saying? But where I was born in, in my particular place, I grew up in the city, and you know, it's a lot of blues in the city. You know, it ain't all just glitter and glam, you know? And if you wanna find some of these people that you're in love with, that's on TV, that's from Atlanta, we be in the city, you know what I'm saying? You can find us in the city, whether it's Magic City, getting around through Blue Flame or wherever, you know what, the city life is. The city life is a, it's a good life, just like a country life is, you know what I'm saying? You know, I just so happen to be, you know, seasoned with the both of them. I'm from the countries, the South, is our college. Best of both worlds. But I'm from the city in that state. So, I gotta get a little bit of the two. Now, how did you and T.I. meet each other? I mean, well, a long time ago. Let's get a drink, hold on. Let's get a drink. What's your drink? Rob mango, man. So Rob mango, we'll get loose in here, got that. I like my drinks like all of them. You gonna get some Rob mango, I'm gonna do some Rob. You got the soda. I got soda, right? Yeah. I got, we gonna get loose. We gonna get loose. I like my drinks like my women, man. I ain't some sweet with a little kick to it. Do you feel me? Yeah. You know what I mean? Special. Yeah. Special. You know what I mean? Smooth. Oh, no, he's a cop. No, I'm gonna use a shot cup. All right. You know what I mean? All right, let me see that shot cup. I don't want to be that. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We got, we got, we got. I want my only red boy. I don't want to be black. All right, I don't want to be a man to see my boy. You feel me, man? Yeah. So you gonna take a shot? That's how you gonna do it? Yeah, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna take a shot. I'm gonna take a shot at life. All right, I'll take a shot. You taking a shot, E? All right, good. So I'll take a shot of Columbia and White. No problem. Columbia and White, baby. Yeah, I'll take a shot. I'm gonna show you how we do it. Out of eye. Okay, out of eye. I'm dead. What's going on? I see what's going on. Yeah, you weak the eye. Come on, man. You got it, you got it. You see what's going on? All right, you ready now? Everybody turn the truth in this moment. Let's go. Mm. Woo, a little. Ah, that's that's a rock. I'll be in the city. Big ups in the B-W-S-R-O-P. Yo-ho, yo-ho. That's good sirac. Aaron. Good sirac. So, so you on TI's from the same neighborhood? Yeah, it was kind of hard not to know, you know, a kid with that kind of character. You know what I'm saying? If you TI and you stay up to scream and drope, and y'all stay on bank have, it's, Bank have! They have to, y'all too gotta bump head, you know what I mean? So, I mean, when we was coming up though, Shaddy was, you know, by the hustling, Shaddy was, you know, he was just sitting over, ain't no games over here my boy. He was working here, Mr. Bank rolled over here. Shaddy learned how to do beats, channeling, you know, channeling the person they used to date. He stayed down for that. To my TI. Yeah, to your I. So, I mean like, and when it comes to a charismatic guy as myself, or, you know, funny, or I'm in the hood, I'm joining out 20 niggas at a time. And nobody can't say nothing, just getting them like riding them for like hours. You know what I'm saying? And once you hear about that, and you cross paths, you know what I mean? It was already, you know what I mean? I know we were kids in the same neighborhood that didn't know each other yet. But by the time we turned 16, 17. Oh damn, that young. I knew who, you feel me? That's what you're saying? See, see? Good shit. Good shit. Nice verse, that's it. That's the first verse. So you knew at an early age. Oh yeah, we was in our teens. We wasn't nobody. So before music all together. Like, you know what I mean? Some real knuckleheads just, you know what I mean? And I'll rest him with you. He told you he was gonna rehab. You said you coming with me. Oh, you gonna hand me, you gonna hold hands, Gord, this is my brother. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Cause I knew we were gonna rehab. That's a real niggas shit, Gord. But you know what though? I took him up on the album. We was in the M.O.B. together. You know what I mean? And I can't tell you I wish for a better person, you know, that just happened to be a star to you guys. But you know what I'm saying? I wouldn't trade that friendship and how that shit happened for Gord. Let's make some noise for Lord, until you got damn it. Yeah! And you know what I think in rap? We gotta keep continuing the spread of relationships like that. Hell yeah. We gotta keep like blowing it up. Because so many people with the music being so disposable now, so many people are doing their relationships like that is just disposable. Whether it happened or something's organic like that. We gotta praise that. And then like I use, like that's a good thing because the relationships that we come from, I couldn't just find you. I had to get on my feet and find you. You're gonna have to get another drink. You feel me? I had to get on my feet and find you. Like today I can just pull, hey who's this guy? Who's this, who's this guy? Okay, this guy's right here. You feel me? You gotta go see who Nori is when he come. You feel me? You gotta go buy this. I'm a person. You feel me? I don't have to buy shit now. I can look at you performing on Instagram. You know what I mean? So these are relationships. So let me get this straight part of me for cutting you off. You're a shot guy. That's all you drink? You don't drink drinks? I mean, I'm like a good drink. I mean, I come from, I used to get high. What's it mean? I mean, nah. Okay. You know what I mean? But this shit you used to say. That's not what you said. This shit, like water. You know what I'm saying? So I like a gentleman's drink. And I also like. Okay, hold on. What's a gentleman's drink? Like a couple of shots of this on the rocks in like a little, you know, like a little plastic. Like a little plastic. Now we gave them up. We gotta go right there. This is gentleman's drink. You do like this here. You know what I mean? You put your shot in here. Whatever. And it co-exist. You know what I mean? And this is a gentleman's drink. Oh, so you just drink the sip of this drink. Let's make some noise for learning the gentleman's drink. Got this one. Woo! We're in those fries. Yeah, we're in those. You put a little Sprite in there. But you know, you got your hard drinkers. They go straight from the bottle. Straight from the bottle. The shot drink is, it's a girl probably near the bar. I'm just trying to break the ice, you know what I mean? So she put up shots, you know? It's not a conversation freeze there, you know? It's party time. Yeah, it's party time. I'm in, I do another shot. Cool, damn. I do another shot. All right, man. I'm in. I got a regular drink too. What? I don't tell you that. I'm in. You're dipping in there. You're dipping in there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm dipping in there. Man, cause young girl's a motherfucking legend. Are you gonna try too? I don't know if you know young girl, but we salute all the motherfucking legends here. We salute, I know, I know. That's what you remember. Yeah, I remember. We salute all legends here. And amen, I should listen. But let me tell you something. When we were coming up, though, and seeing you, man, I just always knew I could be something super. Be my super third homeboy. That's right, that's right. And yo, listen, you have, me and you have similar personalities. I remember the people that tickled over the breakfast club, and it was just like, it was me and you at one point. It was always they saying, it was at interviews on the breakfast club. And I think it's just because, simply because we used to be ourselves. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? But it's a feeling we got really, man. And let me know this, but we welcomed you with open arms. Yeah, Atlanta always open arms. If you ever had left anywhere that you had been, and wanted to come to where we was at, I was gonna officially stand in front and protect that, and I was gonna be one of the security that the front was at. It was what we know. Yeah, we super talking over here, baby. I was like, yo, yo, yo. I was like, yeah. So now describe Atlanta, now describe Atlanta for me, because UNT are from Bankhead. Now, Bankhead is on what side? It's one of the like, the one that like, it's rule. You know what I'm saying? Shorty Lo for Bankhead? Yeah, it's rule and it's project. And it's kinda like, the R&P, shorty Lo, like Child of State on the Street and Bar Home. I witnessed him as a street person. You feel me? I don't wanna discredit him at all. I think he was the bigger hustler than he was a rapper. Do you wanna put it like that? But that's out of town. You most likely probably a crap baby. You feel what I'm saying? You know, these families are having cookouts and playing cards. Your daddy was the one that was, you know, missing the card game and coming back sweating and you know what I'm saying? And your mama was the one that kept inviting me in and you feel me? And that's out of town. Like what was over there in that hood was drugs. So you got these kids like, I am. You feel what I'm saying? Like it's hard to channel them to education because the things that we're born with, like you know, you might be totally unstable. So school ain't for you, my boy. Even though you came in here, you tried this stuff that they're diagnosing us with, I guess they're calling it ADD. Whatever, it was ADD. You know what I mean? But you know, those things come from, you know, the chemistry being out for the two people that had you. You feel what I'm saying? So I guess that you're born over here, nobody's, you feel me? And our attention is on something that we like in this music. You feel what I'm saying? And we like it to the point where, you know, the things that we're doing in the street, we really want to live by this in the lyrics. You feel what I'm saying? And this area from over here, it had the shop boys, TI, shout it low, D4L, you feel me? The sound, it's like, look, like right up the corner, you feel me, you got Gunemaw, Outcast. This is 10 minutes from here. You feel what I'm saying? Not even 10. No, it's not even before you get to College Park, Southwest, Campton Road. I went there, but I'm from Bankhead. You feel me? You migrate a little bit. The Southwest and the West Side are both like, you know what I'm saying? They're all hand in hand. Because most of these motherfuckers just moved over there. You might be the kid of a person that was born on the West Side, but when he was born from the West Side, he moved to Southwest and it just makes it. But the areas in the spots, they raided. You feel what I'm saying? Right. The West Side is probably the hardest place to grow up. Not saying to speak like, oh, my side is harder than yours. But a statistic show, as far as going to school and being who you want to be, the schools are not over here. You feel what I'm saying? You can go to the cater and get a greater school than you could from Bankhead. You feel what I'm saying? You feel what I'm saying? Any part of the catering. Now, Bankhead and Buckhead is two different things. Yeah, because I was like, what's my Bankhead without living in Buckhead? Yeah, Buckhead is rich and Bankhead. His names are very simple. I don't know what I'm saying. No, no, no. You would think you want to be from Bankhead because it's associated with the bank. You know? I just want to buck with the piece of head. I want to bank with head. You are a bankhead. Bankhead, what? Bankhead, what? Bankhead, I don't want a dollar head. I don't want to bank with it. Buckhead. No, I don't want that. The Buckhead is the rich, please. The Buckhead, actually, they're not even cheap out there. They're spending bank. They just switched the name around. Because we're in Union over the dollar on the West Side. Buckhead. Did you think Atlanta would ever have this light that Atlanta has on it? Like, right now, the average hit records, regardless of the person's from Atlanta or not, it sounds like it's from Atlanta. Did you think this hip hop would ever be in this stage? Yes. It's been like that, though, with the Alcanz and Dungeon families. You know, Alcanz had to fight for them. Jermaine, Breeze. These were fighters. Little John, Breeze and Alcanz fought for three semifinals. Atlanta had been on the mat for a very long time. Listen, not playing. Migos, they fought for them. Like, if it wasn't for them, Alcanz, then it wouldn't be Migos. And I'm not saying like Migos ain't ill. I'm just saying that. The coaching them. Yeah, like the Alcanz. People start this. You know, people would be before that. Now, I see what you're saying. Say for instance, like, I didn't come, like, over in Atlanta, over in Venki, over in the West Side. You couldn't find no South music in my take-day. Wow. You feel me? Wow. You feel something that I didn't require. I knew, like, why I wanted to go with telling you a story. But it was very clear. I had heard Biggie tell a story. I could not sit in my house and stay in my own skin. I didn't tell you the story better than he did, if not just as good. You know what I'm saying? So when I saw it turn, I knew what I was saying. I was like, I don't raise dogs with this guy. You feel me? Fat Joe, and he folks with Joe. No, it was like unspeakable. He spoke volumes into my career. You know what I'm saying? Jadakid spoke volumes into my career. We want to show you how to spit this shit. So lyrics are what's meant a lot to you. How to swim with, you remember? How to swim in front of a kitchen to the living room. You feel me? Now I was telling you how to do it with Willie. You feel me? Willie Esco. This is the good talking hip hop. Go ahead, Jerome. Go ahead, Jerome. Nore had a lot of Jersey on him. Super thug. Oh, that's what I did. Without that, that was the Jersey that you can't get. It was very authentic. Got the Norey Monk Jersey. It was the off-Astrel Houston Astros. 1700. Got the Norey Monk fucking on. Like, this Jersey got a name on it. Take scratch and we got that. And I had to shit that out. So we got a Norey. You ain't seen a Norey Jersey? No, I never seen a Norey. That's what he said. That color, what's your name? Oh, yeah, it's the one I did it with. I did see it. That color, what's your name? No, that's what's up. No, but it's certain things. Like, say, it's just like a girl you like. She'd be fine as hell. It's just this one thing that she liked about it. You know what I'm saying? And that's what people like, you know, we are, you know? It's just this one thing. Is that what you liked about Jocelyn? Get the hell out of here, Norey. I mean, is it your name? Listen, bro, I'm not saying the baby came out, show me the baby. This is my whole life. Jake, look at that. I heard you show him there. Listen, I'm gonna get this out there. Get it out there. I like Jocelyn. What the fuck, Norey? Right? But the way that the people are making it happen, that's the reason why I wouldn't do it. You feel what I'm saying? I've had the chance to just make my little sleep move. You know what I'm saying? I look too shabby. And I had this shit on me. Yeah, I ain't fucking in there, though. Tell him, yo. I ain't fucking in there. I fur on your book bag. That's hot. I thought it was. That is hot. I'm trying to break this bitch's hair real good. Yeah. Yeah. But, um, but so, but, when I first saw Shoddy, Shoddy kept it so real with me. Right. So I was like, I ain't really want to fuck Shoddy out of there. I want to just fuck with Shoddy on some music. Kick it. By the time we kicking out with everybody in the hood, but they taping us. They like why that was y'all in there. The TMZ in the hood. Two weeks later, man, we call it, we go out, Shoddy probably break me. So that way, it ain't me being the type of guy that I am. Big guy that I'm the father of the baby. I'm the parent. I'm the parent. I told Shoddy, I was like, you know, me just play on that for their careers. Right. I don't play on that. That ain't, you know what I mean? Everybody be always like, that's a conversation piece. Be talking about, lock them off for a minute, you know what I'm saying? Let's get it on. Like when I do do my interviews and talk in that come up, I like to know that that is a great, that is a greatly talented young lady. Just so having to be fine. They call you. Yeah. And then try to get on a graphical like who the fuck is stroke. Yeah. Are you seeing that, bro? We got to talk about this. I think that it's cool. If you don't know you, bro, but don't be kidding. Like, like you said, I'll just you know, I respect niggas and how they're kicking and how they move. I don't respect no move like that. No, bro. You could have was friends. It's like you and my own. But like, you know, like you call me, but you don't know me, but you ain't never called me for no check. So what the fuck you calling me now for about a bitch? This ain't really paying your bill. You just really just fucking on show. Homemade pay your bill. She ain't paying no, no, no, no child support for you or pay your light bill or your gas bill or your child support for you and the girl. You feel me? She'll be taking anything. I'm quite sure shot against some money because she bad. You need me taking care of shouting. If you take putting like that, I got a bad, bro. I take care of mine. I don't need you buying my girl. I'm being a game out. He read bottom the need down area with pearl on top of it. This is so that was like, before you get it talking about somebody, make sure you do what you got to do. You feel anyway. This is so you said he was not. Yeah. You couldn't be, you couldn't be, now you couldn't be really, you feel talking about that. Cailline, you really ain't breaking no bread with her. I'm making investments in mine. I'm gonna have something to say. You feel it, you feel it. You see, see, I'm down on her shoes and my, hey man, we need to say, I talk about, I'm feeling, get you associated with this ball, I know. What's he gonna do this time? This is trip shit. I'm dead, this is my relationship. I'm dead, I'm dead. I don't feel it, I'm right now. Drove talking that shit. You see, I can speak country. Yeah, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, yeah. I'ma mix it, bye. You don't mix it? Oh, damn, I wasn't supposed to, okay. Drove is zero. Drove is zero. Drove is zero. We got, we got, we got drove, turn. Yeah, we got me turn. Salute, salute. Salute. Salute. Salute, they got that Russian shit. I was on that journey. I was on that journey with some real big German women, man. Okay. I went to Germany and I seen some really big. We gotta do something for you right now, Joe. What's up, baby, what's up? The Coupillian, you're feeling. The Coupillian, you're feeling. The Coupillian, you're feeling. The Coupillian, you're feeling. We thought about getting the cake and then he said, nope. Dude, I wish, listen, bro, I'm sorry to my girl. My girl got me this. Yay, I had cake three level. You could dump on, it sounded like a house, but it was edible and I bit it a couple of times. I'm gonna let those pictures up too of me sneaking by my cake. Wait, it was weed in the cake? No, it was just, it was so good looking, but it looked a bit fake. It was a rails route on cake. That's how good the cake looked. It looked so good, like, is that real? So I'm in there bumping on it and touching it and I ended up biting it. And it was so funny, they got me like, why don't you just sneak and bite your cake? You know what I'm saying? They got me a cake. I'm actually coming down here celebrating. Yes, man, happy birthday, man. My two brothers, I love them to death. They got a fine week, tore up some kind of ghost we rented, so I owe like 10 grand to somebody. That was some fuck shit. Oh, you tore up a ghost, you said? Yeah, we just tore up a ghost on Monday. You historic, for our producers did a test drive and you left your car at the airport, you don't know. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's not a joke, man. I thought he met a ghost. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you tore up a ghost. But that shit was so crazy, we don't know anything about this shit, but it doesn't need to hit a doubt, but that thing. No, let's talk about it, what happened with this ghost? That was a test drive. So we been in the city, it's kind of like, it just ain't hit. So they got it on like, it's playing like every two seconds. So, we not heard it. So my people call me, they're like, it's on the radio. Don't even, don't even cheer you. I'm like, why? They say it added it. So when you get something added, like you go for an ad, you go for mixtape shows, it's cool. When you get it added, you're good. Yeah, you're good. So it's number one. I just took a minute to come back to the test drive thing. I got like a couple more blocks. Why? And you, yeah, it was all right, though. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? You hit, you hit, you hit it. You know what I mean? You know what I'm saying? And then you left it at the airport, is that correct? I didn't leave it. I didn't leave it. I said come and get it. I didn't leave it. I didn't leave it. At least. At least he said it. It's not good. It's still out there. It's still out there. I mean, like, I told you I was at it. I'm gonna bring it in there. Like, who brings the car back out of this thing? It's like 80 shares, where you go like, we bring it in, why you don't you? No, it's outside. It's on the street. I'm now on the street having a drink. But let's be clear, this was a test drive. Not even like a red car. Listen, listen. I wanted it so bad. I wanted it. Who doesn't want to hear okay? Oh my God. I wasn't ready. It's still out there. You're gonna bring it up. I'm gonna bring it up. I'm ready. I'll do another one too. You ready? I'm fucking with you. I'm just... Yo, shot the best bottle of liquor. Oh, best bottle of liquor. Best bottle of liquor. The best bottle of liquor is dot com. Providing a liquor. We got that rose there. You a chef, he ain't do it or not really? Yeah, I actually did this on my birthday. It was nice. And you know what? This is what I cried my writer. I actually did this and that. You know what I mean? And you know... Big up Sir Rock. Let's big up Sir Rock. Big up Sir Rock. Big up everything. Probably do that. I grew up off him. You know what? Growing up drinking this, I could drink this and say, I like the person who made this. You know what I'm saying? I know the person who made this. I've been in the person's house who made this drink. If you ever want me to shout to start off... Take that picture. Take that picture right now. Come on, say yeah. We're drink. We're drink. God damn it. God damn it. What do you say? There you go. What do you say? I would love to be a sponsor of this. It's the cap shots. We're getting all sponsors. Big up Sir Rock. Big you up. Deli on. If you case you want... If you kill it, this is the... To kill you. Why you say to kill you? They know what I mean. They know what I mean right there. So that should develop the bottom. So the rumor is, you also on loving hip hop this season. That goes back to the Jocelyn. When Shada came in the studio and her presentation to our friendship that exists now was so good. I wanted to fulfill whatever she had. I think you're really telling the truth. I heard it there was I wanted to fulfill which had me in them. So drove since we did that and that was like... Did what? The new... Good. What you know Mel If you don't do anything, give this, you know, be a part of this dorm. Give it a 10, is it? Which is my real name, Dorn. You guys, you better not fucking laugh. Freak me. Freak me. That's a clap for the goddamn real names. We got real names. Come on! That's what you do, bro. Real names are real things. No, so, I mean, that allowed me to go over to another genre, another kind of people, the TV life, and spread my expertise, you feel what I'm saying? So fuck yeah, you know, for no check, if you understand? Let it be known that I haven't been paid for anything. This is for the love of hip hop. Bro, I don't believe him at all. No, I'm not, but yeah. You see his shoes, his shoes, his AT on, this is, this is, this is, like, we not, like we impress for, you know, I'm gonna be an actor, you know, I don't want, I don't want, like what I'm touching, what I'm working on with people, and how I, you know, what I put together, like I didn't just, I didn't just wake up and say, oh, I'm gonna go do a Nord shawl, I just popped up. I prepared my speech, motherfucker. No. What do you mean? It's gonna be people in there, you know, you gotta, hey, you gotta, you know, I ain't never seen nobody, I ain't never seen nobody that got a lot of things out of life without work, you know what I'm saying? You know, you gotta prepare, you know what I'm saying? You gotta be prepared and planned, and these things go without the work itself. You have to do these things because it's a process, and I think that before I wanted to jump into just the TV and get in and act in a damn fool, hey, I want you to respect it with this, with this personality and this charismatic, you know, the way that you kick it, go get a crap, pick it up a little bit, and before you come on TV, respect it if you like movies. I love movies. I cry to drop over a dime off of a good piece of work. You feel me, a good piece of work, and you match that crap to convince me that you're telling the truth about how you acted, and you get it across, you feel me? This actually made me feel like he was a cop. Oh, yeah, he was a cop. I'm like the coolest cop I've ever been, but man, hey, that was a dirty ass cop. Trandy, Trandy, he was a cop. This is an art. Right. You feel me? So you gonna start that art with him? You gonna start that art with Love and Hit or Pop, I'll use that as my platform. I just got an agent, you know, you feel me? They're like, so what has he done? Well, I've been on Apollo, and then I've been on Monique. You feel me? I went on Monique two, three times when she had her show. You know what I mean? I seen a couple, you know, I sat in Broadway with Fantasia and seen her. That was your girl too, right? Yeah, I said, oh, listen though. Oh, yeah, very Fantasia. You were on Broadway and watched this girl perform. Come to tears, bro. I respect the art, the craft. You feel me? Like, it's something for you to go on. Like, you'll make a great actor, bro. You're going in my fucking pot, you know, cause the biggest room in the house is the room for improvement, you feel me? That's the one they always working on. That's a good one. That's a good one. That's a good one. That's a good one. That was a nice one. That was a good one. That was a good one. That was a good one. That was a good one. That's your girl, that's your girl. That was hard. Yeah, I mean, once you, once you. One other shot? Yeah, take that shot. Once you tap into that. Look at that, look at that. Look at this. Chee Chee, get the eight, girl. Once you tap into that, man, two. But we gotta do another one. Ah. Oh, that was hard dude. Wait a minute, that was the shot there, man. That was the last shot you shot. That was the mix. That was the mix, man. That was a good one. It's just so full for me. Bigger than Best Model Lickers. Blue Dot, Bigger Dot, Best Model Lickers. They got five locations. They shouldn't make that one for me. Incredible hook, Dot. So you show that it ain't your baby? Yeah, I'm. You put your glasses back on. I know that. For a couple years before him, before now I'm brown. I had a really good tear use of shit. Like you'd be like, real drunk. Hey, man, ate the booty and everything on the first night. I feel like you fucked in the ass. No, no, what? Oh my. I just felt like I'm sorry. And you're mumbling. You were pondering that. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I heard you like it. I don't know. I don't know what you're saying. I'm sorry. It's no time to be like, I'm sorry. What the fuck are you thinking about? What the fuck are you thinking about? What the fuck are you thinking about? Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. That one on my head. I was like, you know what I'm going to do today. Salute. Come on, you ready? You got your yo-yo. You decent with your shot. Yeah. I got my shot. I ain't looking. You ain't listening. Let's go. Let's think of it trying to salute you the whole show. You're a shit on the Haitian gone. Salute, baby. Salute. Salute. Mmm. I don't know how to do that. That's very not smooth. But smooth. Damn. Yeah, this shit here piss you off. This shit here sets you free. But it's going to piss your ass off. You know we got one shot of tiger bone. You got to take it. What? You know what I'm talking about? We got one of the trigger? Yeah, because I can't. I don't know. Listen, listen, dude. You know what tiger bone is? Look at the table. I do not cross-stretch my liquor. If you could see tiger bone. I know tiger bone. Like tiger paw tag. What they call it? Crouching tiger. Hitting dragon. Look at that. He knows shit. He knows it. This is penis harder. He knows, he knows. He knows. He knows. He knows. He knows. He knows exactly what it is. You got it. Let's open it up. Let's open it up. Tell me it's a root in the right chin. Chin, chin in the right. Chin, chin in the right. Chin, chin in the right. He knows what it is. So y'all try to y'all tell me you got Viagra liquor. Yeah, yeah. It's too hard in here. We had Tia on last week. Yeah, we had Tia on. Yeah, I just made my brother just together. Actually, we're working on the best thing smoking to the album. Which I really, really, really. Best thing smoking to the album. Are we making this announcement right here? It's already in the world. Yeah, it's the first place. No. Oh shit, we put this out tomorrow. That was nice. I need y'all to work with me for a second. Work through with it. We'll just go. Whatever you need. That person was a monster in my lifetime, you feel me? I don't know if I can go back and get that guy. But I promise you I'll be better than him. You feel me? But you might be looking for that guy. You feel me? And I can't tell you the substance is not going to be in the crack, you people. No, no, no, no. It's going to be substance in there. Yo, let me just tell you something. Your fans grow with you. When you build a fan base like how people like us did, your fans grow with you. So even though they were selling crack, when you first came out, and now they're a UPS driver, they don't give a fuck. They don't listen to it in the UPS truck. And that's what, when you build a real audience, that's what people have to start to realize is that they grow with you. They're your family. Wait, wait, wait. No, no, no. Stop. Okay. Now, the fairytale is over with. Right. If you change something about yourself, that I know that you should keep the same, you could lose me. I saw, now, I'm not going to say what the name, because I don't want to. But I got disagree with you because people will see you on love and hip hop, and I believe people will love you more. But that's something that they didn't see before prior to this. Right. So I got to disagree with that statement, not with you, period. No, okay. I was touching. Because you know what it is? It's a person like Charlemagne de Gaulle, that Charlemagne de Gaulle. He has the ability to look at certain people and be like, ah, this nigga's hip hop, but he should be in another genre. And that's exactly what you, like, love and hip hop is just perfect for you. You got to get a check. I know you're getting a check. I know you're buying it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. Listen, when I tell you this is really loving hip hop when I'm kicking, we got to check first, because you know she'd start first, which is an idea with us being broke and come up with something we get paid. It starts off from somewhere. And the love of it is where this stands. You know what I'm saying? The love of this situation stands on the love of hip hop, and really you feel me, the love for another person. And I saw how you drop hits nigga, every six months. I fucked you like niggas ain't doing that. Like nigga, you relevant right now. I done seen niggas in your league and you like, what you stand beside you fall off. It's like three of y'all left. It was a hundred of y'all. You feel me? I saw a hundred of y'all niggas. You still right here, you still making me, I want to fuck with you. I'm like, damn, shut up. How you doing, y'all? I shot that big guy like, pop, pop. Sign the contract. So, they came with the contract. Shot the bitches. I shot that Mona, I was like, pop. So a lot of people get shot. Did Mona get shot? Nah, I just shot. I shot. Around her. Yeah, nah. So innocent. I was like, shot's fire. I was like, shot's fire, Mona's shot's fire. Pop, pop. So, they'll shot went out. I like, fuck that. But you know what though, new people call me by shape, bro. You see what I'm saying? I don't think, I ain't not, I'm gonna be honest with you. Now you wanted the best personalities in hip-hop. You deserve a check. That's what I'm trying to say. And to check that they thought that I deserved, I move on those, like, you feel me? I really just do my thing. You know what I'm saying? Cause you got an $1800 shoes. I'm not gonna lie. Am I on display? What do you say about it? They might be, these actually, they just came in a box with my girl, do this every morning. Oh, you do got a girl. I'm not bad. I didn't know that. My girl, she cares only. She know you a dog like a motherfucker. I miss, I already know that too. I miss, I already come through, I already got like six degrees. I already got like one degree away from a doctor. You did what I said, like, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I Reflecting on like 15 16 Keep mixing you up I believe you I'm sorry Who did that? Slime man? Let's go scoop them This is what real shit This is the reason why hip hop I'm trying to preserve the culture That's why And when you look at these bottles Everything is hip hop about these bottles From Bacardi to Sarawak To Rose To Trombe I don't know where Jim Bean came from But that's okay That's not hip hop But Jim Bean Jim Bean will get you drunk And bars And this is devil's cut And I'm an angel But young dude We want you to tell you We celebrate our moments We celebrate our legends In case you never thought you was a legend In case you thought you was going to come here And just you know whatever You ain't finished your time yet But in case We keep making you up In case you didn't know that This is what dream champs do We big up our legends We make sure our legends give the flowers When they can smell them And the trees And the trees And this is what we do here I don't know I like your chain Come over here It's like the pimp shit you got I'm talking to you I'm talking to you I'm talking to you I'm talking to you I'm talking to you Yo what's up I'm talking to you I'm talking to you I'm talking to you So let me ask you something Does Perkisac make your dick not come? That's crazy cause it doesn't sound like an ellens That was like racism No He started it I did it It's not racist I'm sorry A lot of New York music started sounding like the south Straight up You can tell So it came out Cause you spoke a different language than I spoke I was able to dial My dialing That's the problem right there I can tell you where you're from I'm from America I'm not able to be seasoned To go to Cali Go to the Midwest Hear that We take They burr and turn it to a burr It's a lot of cultures here So you have to be able to detect What can be hot about So the minute you heard it I'm a fanatic on new things I like new shit I'm kind of like an old I have an old soul I have an old way I love new shit As soon as you heard it I knew that one Cause the most America thought it was from Atlanta When it came out I was like where is it from Cause I had no culture in Atlanta I'm a part of it Did you know where I was from though? When he said credit cards I knew he was from North Cause we don't do the credit card thing We're owners Like Strip mall owners Because It comes with a thousand dollars to get this piece of land I might put a strip mall Or a community right here I'm an owner of something I actually buy land And open up clubs I got a club over here A club over there Because it's cheap down here So they scam me and do different things We're a different part Pipping down here is slow It's bountiful As I did down here What did you say bountiful? I'm gonna go to the party. I'm gonna go to the party. I'm gonna go to the party. I'm gonna go to the party. I'm gonna go to the party. I'm gonna go to the party. Young drill. Did y'all time the drinks? Like, did y'all measure them? No, we know. We know too. Yeah, we said like this. This much. This much. Clearly, this much. But young drill. It takes this much, like, you gotta do five shots after five shots. That's enough. But young drill. The human would start to depreciate. I got you two pieces of ice. One, I need you to stay out of jail. You're a great guy. We need you out here. You need to sign your podcast, Dreamtap Network. And going to jail and making the decisions that I made to end up in there, it kind of allowed me to grow as a human being and in person. And you know, seriously, when you see things that you're not aware of and God allows you to see them first hand, you have to take heat to that. And so I wouldn't mind taking the hell that I took in order to know what I know now. To grow. To know what I know now. You wouldn't even be able to get by me. That's right. But young drill, we need you to stay out of jail. Because I know you kind of justified it, you staff. Got awkward for me. Because you justified it in a crazy way. I learned my lesson. But you gotta listen. And then your partner, your partner told on you, right? I mean. What did your partner do? That was a... He told on you. It was an unfamiliar event for me. In my life, I was very unfamiliar with that side of a person, you know what I'm saying? And I'm not here to belittle him anymore than what he has done for himself. I would like to shed light on just me moving on as a person and taking that as a loss. And you know, something, it's not a loss that I took. It was a lesson that I learned. I can't tell you that I would take that back because I needed to see that person. And in order for you to make a move on, you have to forgive that. And I have, and I'm willing to get on with my career. That was hard. Let's make some noise for that. Yeah! Let's go, guys. Let's go, guys. Let's go. Young drill, once again, we wanna thank you for hanging out with the drink champs. Amen. We need some more marijuana. Because that's what we do. That's what we do over here. I got home safe. Hey, look. I'm burning my ball man. You look like Eddie Murphy. You look like Eddie Murphy. You don't fight like that. Like, even with your car, like, Eddie Murphy. What are Dawson niggas like when you love the pants? These ain't love the pants. This is the material, it's called mesh. Mesh ball man. All Dawson niggas. Mesh ball man. Now look. It's Eddie Murphy. You talking about legends, bro. Come on. You know, Jason was lemon. No, it was not. It was not? No. We had it in lemon. Ha ha ha. Let's make some noise for the ambulance. Hey! Young drill. All right, so look. So no more tiger bone shots, right? Because that was terrible, right? How did you feel about tiger bone before you leave? Tiger bone was, you know, the tiger was a drink. It cheated on me. It was based on your life. I think the tiger was, it owes me. And apology because I thought that it was something that it wasn't, I wouldn't have married a true tiger. It was a cheater. Ha ha ha. It was a cheater man. Young drill, drink champs, thank you. And all our EGJ EFN, thank you for hanging out and bugging out with us. We were tarded. Yeah, we were tarded. And you got retarded with us the same way. Yeah. And I ain't gonna lie. You still got fellas in your book bag and I'll respect it. That was hair, bro. Rich, you talk right over there by the bottom. One more shot. One more shot. Come on, that's it. That's it. That's it. Everybody do it for us. The last shot. Which one do you want? You know, I don't think I'm sure. We just beat you with a shot. No, we got to. What you said? What you said? What you said? What you said? What you said? What you said? What you said? What you said?
