Hi my brilliant friends! And I'm your sparkly business princess, Destiny here. Before we start, let's do a quick check-in. Take a breath in. How are you feeling today? Happy? Tired? Or excited? All of it is okay here friends. That's right, and we are so glad you're here. Today's episode is about something super important and super brave. That's right, this is such a good conversation Daniel. Today we're talking about something that happens all the time. Imagine this, what if everyone around you is eating something not healthy? Well that's happened to me before. Has it happened to you, Destiny? Yep, and here's the thing, you don't want to eat something unhealthy. Exactly, but you don't want to. So here's the situation. What if someone says, why are you eating that? Or that's weird. Well Daniel, just because everyone else eats it doesn't mean you have to. Being healthy is nothing to be embarrassed about. It's something to be proud of. God gave you one body, one mind, one heart. The Bible tells us that our bodies are like temples. Special blessings that are meant to be cared for with love. Oh Destiny, that is so powerful, so good. Never be ashamed of eating healthy. Eat healthy, eat proud. Protecting your body isn't about being perfect, it's about being thankful. We are grateful to have this amazing life. Yes, that's right Daniel. And here's something really cool about our bodies friends. God designed us to need fuel. Just like a race car, or an airplane. Some foods help our brains think clearly. Some foods help our muscles grow strong. And some foods even help us have energy. Enjoy! And that's why leaders learn early about protein to help our muscles grow. Healthy fats to help our brain think and focus. Real food friends, food that looks exactly or close to how God made it. Not fruit, candies or gummies, a whole rainbow of fruits and vegetables. And some foods don't help our bodies very much at all. They might taste fine, but don't help our brains hurt and energy. They're actually quite the opposite, especially when they're mixed with chemicals and unnatural ingredients. Those are the things that can hurt our bodies and help. That's why choosing healthier food isn't being difficult, it's being wise. I want to live a long, healthy life. That's right, so we can fulfill our God-given purpose. Leaders don't follow the crowd. Raiders listen to wisdom. Even when it's quiet. Sometimes bravery looks like little changes that are so fun. Choosing refreshing water instead of soda. Eating weird food instead of junk that makes you feel sick. And being brave to say no thank you. This is actually what works for me. Here's a kind of experiment I did without even wanting to do the experiment. I went to a party a while back and I ate some stuff that I didn't usually eat. I felt really sick after and I don't usually feel like that when I eat. And the next day, I ate the foods that I didn't usually eat. I felt calm, I had good energy, and my body felt happy. So guys, that was the experiment I did without even realizing I did it. That's funny, I had similar experiences. And it's always a good lesson, isn't it, Destiny? Yep, bidi-da, bidi-dup-dup-dup. Hehehehehe. Okay friends, so what did we learn today? I'll go first if you don't mind. Ladies first, take it away, Destiny. We learned that when we make the right choices with food, it will help us grow healthy, strong, and have a long purposeful life. We also learned that sometimes people may not make the same decisions as us when it comes to food. But we can choose to stay brave in the choices that we make to nourish our body, no matter what anyone says. Yes, Daniel, that was so good. We can all do that. I'm feeling inspired. Let's get fired up and eat healthy.
