Drink Champs hosts Run the Jewels (Killer Mike and El-P) to discuss their #1 album, the formation of the group, hip-hop culture, political engagement, and community economic empowerment through banking and business ownership.
Insights
- Run the Jewels emerged organically from a producer-artist collaboration rather than a strategic label decision, demonstrating the power of creative chemistry over corporate planning
- Hip-hop artists have untapped political and economic influence comparable to Asian-American communities, but lack coordinated capital deployment toward candidates and local institutions
- Generational gatekeeping in hip-hop (dismissing new artists as 'not real hip-hop') mirrors the same gatekeeping older genres faced, limiting cultural growth and unity
- Community banking and business support (black banks, local institutions) can be scaled through coordinated consumer behavior without requiring individual wealth
- Legendary artists maintaining relevance requires continuous reinvention and discipline, not nostalgia or ageism acceptance
Trends
Hip-hop as a unifying cultural identity transcending race, geography, and age demographicsShift toward artist-controlled independent distribution models over traditional label dealsPolitical mobilization of hip-hop artists and audiences as an emerging power blocCommunity economic development through coordinated support of black-owned and local financial institutionsCross-regional collaboration (Brooklyn/Atlanta) as a model for breaking geographic silos in hip-hopTestimonial authenticity in rap (blues-influenced storytelling) gaining cultural legitimacy over aspirational fantasy narrativesArtist-led media ownership and direct-to-audience communication bypassing traditional gatekeepersMentorship and legacy preservation as competitive advantage for established artists

This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed human. He's a legendary Queens rapper. Hey, Hank, thank you. This is your boy Hatton OI. He's a Miami hip hop pioneer. What up is DJ EFN together? They drink it up with some of the biggest players in music and sports. You know what I mean? The most professional, unprofessional podcast and your number one source for drunk facts. This is drinks, championship, where every day is New Year's Eve. Let's go. Hey, gang, Sam Green, hope you're safe here. It's your boy, Enix OEI. Well, that was your boy DJ EFN. I don't know what the fuck is. Was that your attempt at Spanish? It was my attempt at Spanish. I fell visibly. But... Hey, can you see that? Who are you? This is your chance for the fucking podcast. Make some noise! And right now, I am honored to say that we are introducing our guests that are not only hip hop legends, not only people that's on the road for... I looked at these tour schedules, they got 900 dates. It's only 365 days in a year. They touring like rock stars. They out here continue to do their thing, living like legends. And not only that, they also have the number one album in the motherfucking country. That should be a week. The motherfucking juice is in the belly of my son, man! Now, this is your second album? This is your third album. The one that's in the first three. Third album, but this is your first number one? Yeah. Let's make some noise again for that goddamn album. Now, Killer Mike, me and you kind of have like a same story, not only with the Santiago's, but this is like your resurgence. Yeah, yeah. Like a lot of people, you've been down with OutKast, been down with the Dungeon family, been down doing it, but this is like you coming back out party. Well, actually, it's kind of like my coming out because I never really came out as me. I was always an interpretation of what a major label thought I was supposed to be. And that didn't work out. And then I left and just went independent and kind of found a cool little lane for myself. And I have a friend and L Sheldon, Mr. Friend, too, his name is Jason DeMarco. He was like, he got some rank over Cartoon Network, became a vice president and they had a William Street Records. And he was like, yo, I've always pictured you kind of like a Southern version, like of an ice cube, like of an ice cube meets GZ. I was like, oh, I feel that's a compliment. And he was like, so what if I just gave you the money to make your own America's most wanted? And I was like, so you know what I'm gonna say without the fuck I want to say? He was like, no, no, it's exactly what I want. So at that point, I was trying to pivot, do the Mike bigger thing, you know, which is the AKA and shit. And I was like, so maybe I need to put in a, he was like, no, no, no, no, I want Killer Mike. I want you saying everything that you were ever told, not to say. And I was like, worry, let's do this shit. And he, me and L got in studio first. He put me and L together. That's what I was very curious about how this collaboration. Jason DeMarco was the brainchild. Same friend. Yeah. Same friend. We were both doing shit with him and. So you ever do a big separately? Yeah. So basically with Cartoon Network, you know, I did, I own a record label for like 10 years. That judge, we did like a couple of free records. Company flow through their website. They would use it in the cartoons. They would use my beats in the cartoons. So we were friends. I was doing voiceover. We were talking about Cartoon Network. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was doing like some. And yeah, that's basically it, man. We got in the room. And instantly I'm like. So yeah, they didn't know each other prior to. We know of each other in the studio. Because you're from Atlanta. Exactly. And you're from? I'm from Brooklyn. Goddamn, it makes a noise from Brooklyn. It's always a Brooklyn nigga somewhere. Damn, I tell you. So what's his name again? Jason DeMarco. So Jason DeMarco says, I want you to make this album. But it wasn't originally what you got. No, no, it was supposed to be me and a bunch of other producers. And making my America's most wanted. I got in the studio with Elle the first day. I called Jason that night and said he got to produce the whole album. And Elle was like, no, no. And then I aggravated the shit out of him for the next year. It's just calling. I was like, for two months. Him and Jay, him and Jay just hitting me. And I was like, look, I like Mike. I actually really like Mike. He was like, but I'm making my own solo album. I was like, I'm doing my record. And I was like, I'm sorry, guys. I'm sorry. I can't. All right, all right. Maybe a couple beats. It was supposed to be like two beats. And we went out there. We did like three jams in the day in the like the first couple of days. And they were crazy. And I went on to my wife. I was like, your life in a change. I was hoping to see your wife. Where's she's at? She here. It's a month. She brought her mom to South Beach. So now she out on the beach. Make some noise for your mom. Yeah. So now was the first album on Massapil as well. No, the first album is Cartoon Network. Because it was rap music. It was my solo record. He produced the whole album. All right. And then he had a mixtape to turn in. He was like, I turned mixtape. I got to go. This after came off tour. He was like, I just six. We tore it together. Yeah. I dropped my record a week after he dropped it. Yeah. So we went out on tour together. Kids loved it when we came on stage together. And then he was like, you know, at that time it took L a little longer to write. He was like, I got to go focus on the mixtape. I was like, yo, I come up there to do the mixtape with him. He was like, where? He's like, no money. I stole your fuck. I just like rapping with you. I was like, so I'm going to come up and we're going to do the mixtape. So we went up there. We did like five joints. Got them bitches out. And we sent them to Jason DeMarco. And we sent them to our man, Taco, a little Shalomar. And both of them hit us back like, if y'all niggas don't make a record, you fuck on nuts. If y'all don't make this an album and a group. So the first album was an homage to groups that we respected. So we said we're going to be a real rap group. And if you're going to be a real group, I got you. And we're going to be a real group. We got to be, we got to have four classic albums like EPMD. We got to have chemistry like Rob D. Tell me about it. That was something that y'all actually said. The first date, yes. Four classic albums. Like EPMD, you got to have chemistry like Rob D. That's the bare minimum. That's the bare minimum. Yeah, yeah. We got to go to my thing. I want to know, Chevy, MG, A-Ballet, MJG, and I want to be as out-rated as OutKast. Not in the literal, but I wanted us to be a true group. And she's more like a born and a real. Exactly. You can do that. I'll with that. But we want to be a real group, man. Like you guys, like great groups. We were determined not to try to play the solo artist in the first record. May such a splash after we got on tour. Like we went on tour opening for ourselves. Let me tell you something, man. I had, he was with me actually. He had been. We were in LA. Right. We were in LA. We were in LA. We were in LA. It was a festival, I believe. With MERS. With MERS. Big up MERS. Who I think should be the first rapper, book and agent. Shots out at MERS. Real stuff. I feel like, I told him, I told him he did such a great job. I said, why don't you just be the rapper, book and agent? He said, I don't have enough time. I said, well, maybe you should make enough time because I feel like we should have our own, book and our own. I put in his record. Because I feel like rap is a race. Not white, black. I feel like rap. Right. I feel like next time I go fill out the application, I just write rap. But I was on tour. No, we went to LA. Hang out with Alchemist. Yep. And y'all was right. Y'all came on right after me. I had Brunner on it. Stay still. And we was recording in Al's studio at the time. Oh, yeah? Yeah. Well, I see two brothers go on stage and I stood there. When was this? What show? It was a solo show. Me, you can't remember. It jumped up. We got a picture from it with Mike and Vlad was a rapper. I wasn't aware of running the Jews at that time. I was just a real killer, killer Mike. And when I see two brothers and he brung you out like he said. And when I see what was going on, I was like, this is something different. A black and a white brother that has the same cause. For right now, you brothers' cause might be the most important. In the industry period because of race relations and everything that we're dealing with. And again, like I said, I had heard about running the Jews, but I had never seen you guys present until that very moment. And when I stood back, cause that's what I do. I stood back and everybody don't think I walk. Cause I act drunk. I always do. But I sat back and I was like, damn, this is so important. I didn't know how important it would be to write this moment. Like I understand, you know, God's having a number one album, but this is something that should be celebrated because you can't get blacker than killer Mike. And I strut it. And I strut it. I have to be white. And to have you... America's first. No, listen. I pulled out Camel Cross. I said, I'm so white cigarette. He said, no, you don't know. No, you don't know. No, you don't know. And he pulled out America's first. And I said, you are correct. I am not that white. There's always a level whiter. I'm trying to be white like that. There's always a level whiter. So, so now you guys being approached to do this album because obviously LP is a person who stands on his own. Killer Mike is a person that stands on his own. So what was that moment like where they was like, let's launch your guys to be a group? No, that wasn't that. We decided to be the group. Jason decided we should make my solo album together. Yeah, this was just... Out of that came the opportunity to do a mixtape together. We had just grown to be friends. Honestly, and just to clarify, it was just me wanting to do a project. I just wanted to do like an EP. But we were already friends. It's got to be you, right James? I can't fuck with an EP. I can't fuck with an EP. Okay, all right, let's go. Yeah, that came for you guys. Yeah. The black guy drinks whiskey in this group. I used to drink it. I had to quit. I had to quit. You're with Ali at least. 2077. I was like, you quit drinking Leesnick. No, I didn't drink it. Jameson in 2007, I used to drink whiskey. I'm out of shit. Let me big y'all up for having the weirdest liquor ever. They're writers. They're writers. They're writers. They're writers. They're writers. Mascow? Mascow. Jameson. There's multiple liquors in this. Yeah, it was different. Moe, I liked it there. Yeah, Moe. That's what I drink. You're gonna pop that one? How do you slice? Wait, I'm a white star. Give me your coat. No, you fuck with a white star and you're old school age. Yeah, exactly. I drink what rich drug dealers I looked up to. I drink lifestyle life, though. So, so you guys make the group. Now, what the fuck? We make the group, but we go on tour opening for ourselves. So you got a killer mic set, an LP set, and then a runner jewel set. All right, so we play here. Because we didn't know if running jewels was possible. Yeah. It's up. Are you sure this stuff is open up? Yeah, open it up for yourself. Yeah, open it up. I never heard of it. Open it up for running jewels. Drop it out on the board, please. So, now we do it. But tell the cops, we know it's open up. I'm gonna ask you that one. We ain't sure it's gonna pop. So we say we gotta give them a little each. We do 30, 30, and then 30 or 45. 30, 30, I think 45. But the crazy shit is we play with 300 to 500 people rooms at that time. So we play in small rooms. And it'll be a group of killer mic fans there. Oh, man, shit, we haven't seen killer mic. We ain't seen each other, I don't know. Oh, man, okay, so LP, I'll count the fuck with this guy. The LP fans there. Oh, kill the mic. I never really fucked. Open up, fuck with it. Oh, okay, there. Oh, and then it's just be a group of kids just standing there like, oh. Okay. Like, I brought him together. Yeah, like, all this stuff. But the kids who were just standing there, it was young. So I'm like, what the fuck is these young kids doing here one? Literally, we come out. I started to see like the new fans. Yeah, but I'm like, wow. So we would come out as, as, we would open for ourselves, walk off stage, come out in the same fucking clothing as Run the Jewels. And all of a sudden this whole party just... It just went crazy. It was like, who knew about the fuck? And like, they didn't even realize it was us. And we were like, fuck the Jewels. After the tour, I remember my management saying, so yo, what we gonna do about a solo album? I said, what the fuck solo album? I'm like, I ain't no solo album. I'm in a group. Cancel that shit. Y'all are management t-ers. I feel like the whole thing is better. Yeah. But now both of you guys, as being solo artists, was it difficult to make that conversion, or you just roll with it? Yo, it was so easy. That's why we did it. Like, we just did the, we did the music. What? We did the music for fun. And what part of Brooklyn you from? I was raised in downtown Brooklyn for most of my life. Right outside of Fort Maw. Oh, shit. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. I was born in Brooklyn. one though. Don't let me do any more than one. We're not responsible for what I said. There, you right there. I'll put me a shot. We'll shoot him up. I mean, I'm gonna simp this, actually. I'll do that. You can't simp a shot, Gary. You gotta take that shot. When it has ice, don't call it a shot, man. You can simp it. I fucked up. So, as you guys, I listened to you guys' music, and I can tell that it's about real hip-hop. At the end of the day, I see you guys' shows. I'll come. I'll watch it. I'll watch it online. I'll watch the live streams. So, is it... When you hear new school hip-hop, is it like... Or is it like... Whatever. Like these young brothers do the same thing. I'm like, this shit jammed. Right. What a hoaxer. Yeah. Like, I'm from the south, so... Like, I was telling my partner today, I was riding around my partner, James, man, from luxury lifestyle. Transportation. He was like, man, you know what you think about the new guys that ain't serious as much as y'all. I say, man, I grew up in Atlanta, so half my day was Luke, the dog's two-live crew on Al. The other half my day was Outcast, Goodie, Ma, Wu-Tang, Kapon, Nurega, Nah. So, for me, I'm comfortable in this space, because I get to get fucked up, listen to all the shit that's real hip-hop and all the shit that's variations of it. I ain't bothered by none of them. I'm encouraged by all of them. I never understood that shit. I never understood... I mean, you know, I just don't... What you understood? I don't understand how people can't find... Something good in the new... ...in the new music that's happening now. I agree with you. I mean, but it's not like I'm judging it. I'm just like, my perspective is, you know, the 808 is so heavy right now, how can you not be happy without it? My father was one of the greatest people I've ever met in my life, right? KJ ain't no more pops, you know. This is the guy I really grew up with. I called you KJ, I said, so sorry. What's your name? Khalil. Khalil. Me and my child are friends. So Khalil, but my father told me, you always see what you like in a person first. Right. Because if you see what you like in a person, if they fuck up, you gave them all the chance in the world to like them first. So that's what I do with new hip-hop, and I don't feel myself disappointed. Like to me, my bitch is bad and bougie. Um, Mr. God? Amigo. But I know Amigo's. Donald Glover, shout out. Donald Glover. But if you look on my timeline, three weeks before that, I went on like timeline and said that is the hottest record out. And if you're an old nigga, you don't like it, you're just a hater. Right, Rob. Yeah, Rob. And I said this. Stop it, I'm kidding. I said this could be because... I'm a bitch here, da-da. How can you not like that shit? How about, and not only that. My girl is a real crappie. Who? You hear like that, so let me play. How did you not like that? We played this shit on our two of us. Like he played Future's Last Take, played the fuck out of that shit. Right. Ray Sherman, we both love him. I'm a huge Migos fan. Like, we play all the shit, man. And that's, you know what I think? I think that the more legends embrace the new guys, it's gonna make the culture broader. If we don't, we do. Because if you don't, we do. Because you know what, you know what, one time I remember somebody saying to me, damn, I don't know how I'm just Burt Risky. I don't even think Risky. What? Burt Risky does not. I'm sorry. But somebody said to me, they said, listen to that shit. That's not real hip hop. That's not what it is. And you know what I told them? They said, they said, so why would you do that? I said, because that's the same exact thing they told me about me. They told me I wasn't real hip hop. A lot of niggas just say that just saying, what do you say? They don't push either. Like, let's be frank. Every niggas who say that just is a non-pussy-gathered. They don't even say that shit. Because you can't be with no hoes. You can't be god-blessed women, ladies. Whatever the fuck you, you cannot be with them and not hear the jam. You just can't. And a lot of them like jams that's real or not real or how you see it. But man, if you've ever been in Atlanta Club and the motherfucking Migos came on, and you was half a baller, half a blunder, anything, you walk out of there and understand. You know, you know, you know, that's the thing, Mike. That's the thing, Mike. Everybody, everybody, everybody made it. Yeah, relax. Yes, sir, Captain. Everybody don't understand. That's how you understand the record. I don't give a fuck if the niggas phone Oklahoma. I don't give a fuck if he's phone Utah. I don't give a fuck if he's phone. Now, I'm just passing. If you go to that town and you understand that town, you understand why this record is a hit record. Now, for me, you can look at my career since 97. I've always embraced down south people because I'm going to my family. I thought Superdug was like down south. Superdug was. I felt like that. It came to us. It was a new record on a south beat. But so I always embraced the south because I was at family. You was down south. Like we just said, Mike ever sold. Where's your mom's family's must be from the south? No, this was South Carolina. I still got property in South Carolina. My wife probably. Columbia and Charleston. My wife is how. Hilton here. So the thing is, I always, I guess I always knew the south was going to take over, but I always knew the south was bigger than the east and the west. Because when you think about it, you got four properties on the east. You got four properties on the west and then anything else south. The worst thing the south could ever do is start to self identify too much with all cities and states. What you mean by that? We used to have to identify as a region because it was just like if you talked with an access, shit on you, you're from the south. So it wasn't, it was like Miami and Houston set it off. Atlanta and Tennessee Memphis came as a tier and then you started getting other cities. But when we start to overly identify our particular city, we back. We ain't got all the way off, but when we do that is never good for us. When we go all fuck with other niggas because they from Houston, I'm from Atlanta. I don't fuck with niggas, they can lose that. But that's the one thing I was expecting about the south. That's when it fucking up. You guys always said the south. You got to. You can't see LP. I bet you LP ain't never say the east. I bet you I never said the east. When we're spoiled, we're from New York. We're from New York. You say Brooklyn. I say Queens. Yeah. But listen, listen, LP, we got to start this. Me and you, we starting on the move right now. We're wrapping the east. Hold that on. The niggas in Virginia. The niggas in Virginia. The niggas in Virginia. They didn't kind of do that though for a little while. The niggas in Virginia ain't down south. Your niggas in Baltimore. The morning is quick. Your niggas with us are based. You guys ain't got any state northeast. There was a small period of time though when the east west thing. People said. I ain't gonna front the east as never. Like right now I've seen a west coast dude become a down south dude. And the first thing the west coast dude would say, west coast. And I said to myself, hmm, that's something that east coast guy can't say. Because ain't nobody from the east coast going to have your back when you say east coast. You got to say Philly. You got to say New York. You got to say DC. You just can't say east coast. Anybody east coast? This ain't right. One of the funniest things. I don't know the exact coast so don't call me exactly. I love, I love man. I literally love listening to east coast radio. You gonna hear crazy shit. But I heard one of my favorite DJs, old school dude. Say yo, for real, the east is New York. And I think he said maybe Connecticut, Philly or Jersey. He gave love to one other place. Absolutely. He said all the rest of y'all niggas is south. It was a land. Because I know he was halfway breaking our balls. Because he honestly is one of the most embracing DJs. But it was funny as fuck. Because he was going to be my cousins from New York. That's how they work for real. Like man, y'all ain't. But you know, but that's our problem. And you know what? Not only that, not only that. I'm going to tell you something. That is a way to divide us, period. Absolutely. Because we're all human at the end of the day. And then we're all black. And then we're all hip hop. Or we're all whatever. So you know what I'm trying to say. What I'm trying to say is, it's a divided, conquered thing. But the crazy shit is the west coast had that above the south. And they had that above the east coast. Is that they can say west coast. And everybody from the west, from Golden State, which... From Washington down to... Sacramento, niggas in Texas would be like west coast. And you're like, what the... You need to relax. But that was something that they had over us. And now the south is actually applying back. People are saying we're from the south. I never thought I'd see the day where east coast MCs emulated southern MCs. It's a blessing. Because it's all style. Like on the old Kung Fu principles, how they used to compare hip hop and Kung Fu. We had young dro here. That's the show. And I asked young dro. Niggas got south of dro man. I asked young dro. When you heard Panda, did you know that that wasn't for my mamma? And he said immediately. He said the same shit. He said the same shit. Okay. I was wrong. I thought you were... Alright, alright. Break that down. I mean you can just... His vernacular? It ain't shallow. You know, it's like... It ain't shallow. L.S.A. L.S.A. Like my grandmother forced me to speak a certain way. Like this is where I pay for education. It's how you do it. Tell them about that. When I'm with a group of my friends, it's like you shit. Probably me and your Spanish friends. Like L.S.A. No, I understand. Shit, you saved me with a bunch of shit. So it's like... Now I do. Yeah, but with designer, he does a great emulation of future. He'd be lying if he's saying it's not future. That's not even a challenge to him. But just style influences. It's gonna be like me saying, I say, yo, I never listen to Q. Get the fuck out of here. It's not even your time. You hear me, you dog. This little kid grew up on Ice Cube. So with that, I just... I knew it wasn't future. Yeah, I was the champion. But I knew future had become the most powerful force in rap. The time I heard that record, I was just like, oh, it's out of here. He the one. And you knew from the minute you heard it that that wasn't from my... Yeah, I knew that one, Charlotte. It wasn't from your... It wasn't Charlotte. It ain't Charlotte. It ain't Charlotte. It ain't Charlotte. It ain't got that willpower. But why? Now, but I remember because we were talking about... Wasn't a vernacular? It was funny to me because basically... You don't even see me bigging me up. You don't see how I'm pulling this shit. You fucked up the first one. You fucked up the first one. What, what? That's cause... That's cause Kelly Micah's drunk already. He didn't tell his glass. Look at that. Who got it? Oh, look, that was my fault. That was my fault. What do you call that? What do you call that? This is Pissing. Pissing? You gotta do it like this. Pissing. This is how they do it in France. Yeah, it's way... Yeah. And it's a towel. That's what I'm missing. And I knew it when Charlotte was not in the bad way. I just knew it was like... At best, I figured somebody from Atlanta had swags. You know what I mean? Like, I was like, okay, Charlotte, you know, he probably... And I thought somebody... He got some decided somebody to really fuck with me. But I knew it wasn't him. He got flavor, man. I'm gonna tell you, he got soul. Future has soul that other... Not that designer doesn't have. Future is... But future, you listen to the shit he's saying. It's damn like a blues record. He's a... A version... Our generation Teddy Pinnagrat. Yeah. He's wrong. He's like, I'm dead. Like, I'm not gonna lie because a lot of people don't really listen to futures words or futures or... You know, it's harmonies or whatever. But when you listen to that man, that man is preaching some shit. Yeah, man. And if he don't really drink lean like that, he's really ill. Because he got a whole community... That's just real. He got a whole community following him. Like this... He made junk... Junk... Junkies. You lost me on that one. He did. No, what'd you say? Alright. Right now, in the hood, there are people in the hood that say, I'm a drunkie. I'm a chunky. Because they drink lean all day. But that's what future... Like, he preached. He preached to be fucked up every day. Well, he testified. He didn't preach. If you listen to his music, he's not saying you should do. And that's what I mean about blues. He said this is what I do. Or what I've done. And to me, that's what's always separated. Southern hip hop. You know what I'm saying? What you're hearing is, it's gospel-y a testimonial because you're claiming it. You ain't even saying a plaid to nobody else. And really, if you want to look at lean culture, you've got to give it to Houston. But not even on some just tip-by-like, screw, live, the lifestyle. You know what I'm saying? When you hear Paul Wall talk about it, he's talking about a lifestyle, he's lived. I went down there, when I first went independent, we stayed for a couple months, man. I came out there, bitch, on the other side of Jake. Myself, because that shit feels, this is an opiate. Don't nothing feel better than heroin. That's what I do. I know what I'm out here. You know what I mean? So, he's doing it. Testimonialism. Oh, you didn't know about my lean story? I know for it, buddy. Tell us. Coast to coast, what do you think is that? I was on Coast to Coast talk. All right? Coast to coast. When Houston. Who? They bring me to the lean house, nigga. And my mind is a lean house. I don't know why. Take a franchise. I walked there. What do you know, sir? I said, I ain't doing that shit. They said, well, you be fucking, your homeboy's in the fucked up shit. I said, I didn't know it was fucked up lean. But they gave me a double cup of some shit, and I kid you not. I was talking the whole time, my mouth just didn't move. Exactly. Exactly. That's why I want to do that. I'm like that. I'm like do the whole time. I want to do the whole time. I'm talking about the same shit. I had shoulder surgery. First bun called me about the lean. Bun just called me out of nowhere. They like, hey, what came to rescue me? He was like, hey, I want to talk to you about something. I was like, what? He say about that drink. He gave me a fucking 15 minute lecture, and I ain't never fuck with that. I was like, I'm cool on that shit, because I respect my old shit. I didn't want that. But you know what I'm talking about, lean? I'm talking about the lean. I'm talking about the lean. I'm talking about the lean. I'm talking about the lean. I'm talking about the lean. But you know what I'm talking about, lean? You can't actually control it. The thing about lean is I can actually say, I don't want to be hiding them anymore. Yeah, exactly. But it's something like, oh, it's leading it. Like you're telling me it's fucking heroin. It's leading you to heroin, my nigga. Like don't make no mistakes in the middle of it. I had shoulder surgery. Like a year and a half. I've got to do shoulder surgery right now. I had glutes on fuck them. I'm in a sling. First day painkillers. Feel a rush like, ooh, second day. Little sick, little constipation and shit. Cause that's what they do to you. Two of them have a stomach. Next day, like they have a pop of the end. Third day, my wife fly me to Miami. She said too many people bothered me. She fly me here to stay. We in the fucking, we out on the balcony. I do want them in so much pain. I talked to my wife for 30 to 45 minutes. Have a full conversation with her in her face. Afterwards, she said, you didn't say a word to each other. That's when I knew I'm not taking these painkillers. I suffered the rest of that month through. I'm sorry. The only thing that puts me in this is too good. And I like drugs. But it's that step too. It makes a lot of drugs. It's sweet. I'll even toast to them. Let's go. Yo, but y'all got the number one album in the motherfucking country. Woo! Come on. It's your next week. Number one. Number one. Number one rapper. Him, him, him, him, him. Him, him, him, him, him. Just say it. Whatever we were saying. I don't give a fuck if you're out there. I'm saying it. I'm saying it. And the story. Yeah, I know my mama telling her stories like she's. That's right. You know what? And y'all, real hip hop LP, I want you to understand and acknowledge how much we appreciate you. I want you to understand and acknowledge it. And so Michael, how much we appreciate you. I want to understand and acknowledge that when you was running around with Bernie Sanders, I couldn't have been more proud of you. That's the only part of the time I didn't use your number. Like I was watching you on the campaign trail and I wanted to call you, but I said, I know I'm a felon. Just in case his phone is his tap. I'm not going to call at this moment. Definitely tap. We want to have a tap. I was definitely rooting for you like this. Thank you. I was excited. Like just getting on criminal. Yeah. I was very. I'm trying to get your rights back. I want my rights back. I want you to have them back. Please. Voting, gunship, all that. You deserve all that back. I'll never leave you gone. Absolutely. Absolutely either. But you doing the campaign. What's Bernie supposed to run as a third party? Ultimately, I think his purpose was to transform the Democratic party. And I think that's starting to happen. Because he had a better chance. Yeah, no. How do we get picked? Well, we know how she got picked according to the emails in my name. She didn't get any. You know, it looks like from what has been proven to be factual that members of the Democratic National Committee that they conspired against Bernie Sanders to such extremes as giving her questions in advance and prompting their media agents to downplay Bernie to the tune of Trump getting 80% more viewership because they pushed him in Cruz early because they thought they were the ridiculous vote. So I would just say Americans, if you're going to be angry about something, make sure you're angry about everything. You know, don't be, don't just be angry that your child stole, be angry your child lied to you stole and is a thief. You know, I'm called Trump speeches. Yeah. I'm with it. He was talking about that. You know, Trump is doing Trump facts now. He's doing Trump facts. Yeah. It's about to be an interesting place. Yeah, man, you know, Zamora is in here, right? No, you can't smoke cigarettes. Can't smoke cigarettes. Let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, because we know why there's no more album in the country. My god. My god. My god. My god. My god. My god. Tyga Monty? Tyga Monty? What's the funny thing? I mean, I mean. What is it? Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. We should have New York. We can't get nothing over him. What is it? This is Tyga Mon. This is gone. All right. This is my last week. I know about this shit from your show. I don't know about that. All right. Yeah, it's terrible. Yeah. This is nothing to brag about. Why don't you want to do this? You, the person that called and told me how to juice this shit. Why would you do this to me? No, this is herbs. Hold on. Don't take it. Don't take it. Listen, if you actually on a diet and you like trying to do shit, this is actually the only alcohol that won't affect you. The new one will smell it. Don't smell it. This shit smell like Casper. It's going to take your whole life to smell it. All right. This is for your number one album in the world. This is how you do it. Listen. Take a big laugh. A-da. A-da. A-da. A-da. A-da. Oh. Oh my god. Let it, let it. Let it settle. Let it settle. You see my friend? This shit tastes like a Cumberland, man. Look at you, wrist nipples out. This shit tastes like a little... Come on, bring it. We are reminiscing for... Oh, shit. Hold up. We're gonna do... I still taste an impressive shit. Oh, yeah. I just taste it. That shit tastes like a... It's like a taste of your chest. Wait till you take a shit. What the fuck is that? What the fuck is that? What is that flavor? What is that? It's chewed. It's like a fireball. Yeah. It's a whole chain of humans. Nigga, you drink it. Shoo, nigga. This is the bottom of a Timberland loaf. You know what I mean? After walking the grip of a tiny... Y'all know the Timberland loafers, we were in Florida and Georgia. I never seen New York Niggas here. Like, this is the bottom of what I do. This is the drink when you get... When you got the number one album in the country, you got that. Make some noise! I'm starting to regret. Girl, the last time I saw you, we were at Roscoe's, across the street, smoking dope and drinking champagne in the open. I'm across the street from Roscoe's. Which is why I love you. We were so discreet. Yeah, straight. You were there? You were there? I was there. You were at the hotel, though. After you bastards who want to know who see me suffering under Josh Spice in the gym every fucking morning, Nory is the dude that hit me up. Like, yo, your fat, this is how you're going to lose some weight, eat vegetables, juice, and run and walk. That's right. And Nory is Nory. I fuck with you for that. My wife loves you for it. I definitely love your wife as well. Yeah, and them niggas really all like Pop. That's him in my bag. You know what it is? We have to continue to sustain our legends. We got to be here. In our category. And now, again, this is not nothing racial. I think hip hop should be a race. I feel you. Like 100% honesty. Because it unifies. Because it can be a person who maybe don't like black people or maybe don't like white people. But guess what? He like hip hop. Absolutely. So that makes him in my fraternity. Absolutely. I look at it like it is a fraternity. You know what I'm saying? I look at it as my fraternity. And if you look at it, if you always see a drug dealer from the hood, they'll say, well, my lawyer know the judge. Yeah. Because you know why they wouldn't in the same fraternity. Absolutely. But why we can't have our same fraternity? Absolutely. Why you can't be 65 years old and say, you know what? Oh, yeah, yeah. That's my mother. Absolutely. My grandchildren play with your grandchildren. Absolutely. Because the thing is, if we don't sustain this culture, and it's not a race thing, it's the biggest part about it. It's not a race thing. It's a cultural thing. Absolutely. And we all believe in the same culture. If you all love hip hop, that's why I think it should be a hip hop flag. I think it should be hip hop insurance. I think it should be. Definitely. Hip hop benefits. Absolutely. Like a sag for hip hop. I mean, I thought about it real long and hard. And the only other business that don't have this type of insurance, don't have this, is boxing. Those beautiful sport and life. This is a sport where you go in and you can die. Like hip hop. Like hip hop. Yeah, that's it. But you go in and literally die. Yeah, disposable, real quick. And you're not protected. Absolutely. Why can't we, as smart individuals, individual lives, I mean, excuse me, unified. Absolutely. David Banner. Okay, David Banner. You in charge of the funds. Absolutely. You in charge, all right, kill a mic. You know, boom, boom, boom. Okay, LP, EFN. And we all, all right, cool. Everybody making $50,000 a month. Yeah. We don't want you $50,000 a month. Take $1,500 of that. Put it to the side. So when a person, like a random person, just name an artist, Cassidy. Cassidy. Cassidy gets in a car crash. I got you. We got to, we handled that. His mama don't got to worry about that. Yeah. Am I about you? Nah, I think, I think it's possible. All really you're saying is alternative streams of revenue and business. So when he says... Alternative facts. No, no, no, I don't turn this. It's clear. I'm from Atlanta, Georgia, right? Big or Lant. Straight up. A guy named Alonzo Herndon, who started a barbershop with All Black Eyes Cutting, who would only serve as white men, white businessmen in Atlanta. He learned some shit listening in the barbershop. Then he learned that white people got buried by insurance. And you pay it into an insurance at the time you die. You know, you'd have a few thousand dollars a burial or whatnot, because you at least want your person to go on respectfully and shit. And he's like, well, damn, you know, the black community don't have that. So he went to one of the white companies, of course, and got bonded, like, hey, you know, I want to bring you this much business, what? Underroated. And he became the largest minority insurer in the south. They had an Atlanta life building on Auburn Avenue. He was a very big reason Atlanta is such a business capital now, and black people in Atlanta had. So absolutely hip hop. We can do the same thing. I started last year, and I want you all to check me out. You know, I ain't smoking a blanch. Last year I did the bank, bank black, bank small, bank local. So of course, because America's assholes and everybody just want to argue about race, everybody either heard. Tell us the Cuban banks in Atlanta be, I mean, Miami be. I don't know the Cuban banks, but I know it's a goddamn lot of them. This is the blue bank over there. Every time I come here, all right. One united. One united is one. I'm making the pot. Thank you. The reason I said bank black, bank small, bank local, for black people, you need to be able to bank with the institution as directly reflective of your community, right? Right? So you can back with a place. Give it up for that political staff. This makes it hard. Wait for this all day. Let's go. This beyond politics, though. This is like our Asian brothers and sisters. Hopefully, it's to anybody, yet they have a higher political influence than anybody in this room because they put their money behind candidates and causes. So you look like you got one united in Miami. You got citizens trust in Atlanta. You got industrial bank up in DC. These are black banks. Yeah, but these are black banks, right? So you get your community to shift the money, not all of it. Just take a couple hundred dollars, couple thousand dollars, put into the bank, started savings, a credit line, and buy some stock in that bank. So if you got a couple grand, right? Now, last year, it was just put some money in the bank because what I wanted us to learn how to do was use our money. So put some money in the bank, get a debit card, get a credit card, learn how to build your credit, learn how to save money. Save one dollar on every ten dollars you make. You make a dollar and I'll save a hundred, right? You know how to do that. So citizens trust actually started another card to help people with a smudge on their credit repair it all. So bank, black bank, small bank, local. So even if you black and ain't no black banks, get the community to go to one bank, one small bank. They said, we're going to only bank with you, but we're going to bank with you at lower cost, at lower ATMP, shit like that. So the reason you do that is first of all... You can't associate that? Absolutely can't. If you go as a group, if you go by your goddamn self, they're going to have to go out the door. So you do that, that happens. You get a little stronger individually. Individually, you got to get strong first. If I don't get my fat ass in the gym, I can't jump right on stage and inspire nobody else. So get yourself in shape individually with your money. Then you get the community around it. So whether it's a black bank or a small bank, you do that banking there. Then you start to challenge for small business laws directly for it. So this little store could be a coffee shop. If you did this store could be something else. Why do we have to always go to Starbucks or something? You don't have to. If you get the loan, and if you're in church, tell your church we want to see two business plans come of our congregation, or we're not tithing for this year. But how do we make black banks pop? I'm going to tell you. I believe that's the biggest need to move money to black banks in the immediate. Citizens Trust has a 95 year great record. Does killer Mike and Nori need to shoot videos in Citizens Trust? I think we need to rap it in our raps. You know what I'm saying? I used to say, I sold up and I got a million. That's the citizens trust. Citizens Trust. You said they're fine here Miami? No, they're in there. There's a one United in Miami. There's a Citizens Trust in Miami. I know that the dudes that did our bank, the IPV, they're banking with a... Yeah, industrial, mechanics and farmers. Or small and local, even if you can't go black. If you go small, go local, get with one of the smaller banks. Eleanor also do our accounting with a small bank. They waive our fees. We don't get the same fees on people. But it's because our accounting firm takes all their business there. So, you know, I'm just simply saying, you know, hip hop can do anything we want to do if we focus on us. If we say, I like Givenchy, I like Louis, I like all that shit. I'm not talking about any purposes, but I miss the days of Maurice Malone, Clark or not, Fubu. You know, I'm just saying, give a homie up the block who's praying t-shirts, give them a shot. What we do Fubu, did it. Yeah, because we gonna hire, you know, you gonna hire people that you're not afraid of. You know what I mean? Willie Esko is like a homie in the middle. Hip hop actually invest in politics. And what I mean by that? Yes, yes, like I feel like killer might should be... No. No fucking no. I feel like killer might should be mayor of Atlanta. Thank you. Exactly. I'm telling you that shit. T.I. should be governor of Atlanta. Uh, cool tip would make such a great deal. He shut me down. I had a tip on the show with Tixxess. Tixxess, such a great deal. Luke's jumping into politics. Hold up, the second that he becomes mayor though is the day that I moved to Atlanta. Yeah, this is a real estate developer. And the movie is so big. It seems like we have 20 minutes. L.P., hit me out L.P. right? How much can we complain if we're in a position like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like you watching a porn on flick right? And if you watch a porn on flick you just gotta watch it because you're watching on tape. But if you're watching a porn on flick happen and you're like he's not doing it right. I could do it better. And you could actually jump in. That's real shit. So why not? Why? Why? You can actually jump in if you know what? Relax homie. I got it, come here. I got it. You can jump in. And the thing about it is, that's how hip hop is right now. We're watching a porn on flick and we can actually say relax. We got it. Our turn. We're gonna throw some hot sauce in the jar. I think we got hip hop in politics. I think we need to put some hip hop money behind it. You think Obama's like to be there? Direct product of hip hop? Let's not talk about it. We need to kill him like to be mayor. Former President Obama yet. I want to say, not yet. I want to say you have people like Senator Nina Turner who was who's a representative. She was out of Ohio. I don't think, actually I don't think she holds office anymore. But she was surrogate for Sanders. She is one of the more powerful women I've seen in politics in Shirley Chisholm. You know what I mean? She is absolutely powerful. She's young. She gets it. She's young enough to understand, old enough to really get it. We should be sending her money for her next campaign already. You know, if you are not happy with Cory Booker right now, you're looking for a black Democrat to support. Nina Turner should be that person. So what hip hop should be doing is like they did in the 90s supporting politicians who support us. Barbara George, Maxine Waters. We should be supporting those politicians because that is hip hop. If you look at Mayor Bowser up in DC. That woman, Mayor of DC met with me in LP last week just to talk for an hour with LP and I about how to attract the music industry to DC. And not just money, the culture. She wants you open the studios. Yeah, talk to Elle. I mean, it's weird. It's cool. It's interesting. It's different. But you understand the power. The mayor is asking to meet with us and just to talk about the arts and to talk about how to attract arts into the city and to grow the economy. We should be supporting her. Like hip hop should be putting their money. Some of our bottle money should go to local politics. Now I'm not saying send your money to the big politics, but if your kid goes to public school and you bought a bottle in the last year, yet you've not went to any PTA meeting or donated or picked a candidate you like, you're slipping, cuz. All y'all see me shame be ourselves. You're making fun of me. You're shitting everybody else. Yeah, just like that. We sit over here fucking up too. That's for us. That's for us. Yeah. Come on. One of my kids teachers is going to show him. Hey man, look at that. Get out of the door. Yeah. No, no, that's a beautiful thing. Yeah. We're just saying. You know why? We celebrate. We give our legends flowers when they can smell them. My grandma say give them flowers. I ask you to give them trees when they can. Let me say lighter. Oh, lighter. Yeah. If you want another shot, take a bone. I feel like you want it. Yeah, no, we're ready for another shot. Let's go. Yeah, Frank, congratulations, brother. Thank you, man. I don't know what you congratulate me for. I don't know. Hey man, as a Capone and Nori fan, man, thank you, man. Like for forever. For keeping hip hop alive? Absolutely. For keeping hip hop alive. You know what? For keeping truth in hip hop. Because I think when we say real hip hop, all we really say is some true shit. I like the fantasy shit. That's cool and shit. I like the fantasy shit. But man, there's something about the truth. Because I really like getting my business bad and bullshit. I love it. I'm gonna cope with the old shit. I love it. But before I go, I'm gonna go to the old shit. I love it. I'm gonna cope with the old shit. But before you know you're rolling with some rough and dusty. You know she ain't musty. You know, you just try to get some money, man. Salute. Your LP. Salute. Salute, brother. Salute. Yeah, exactly. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. Salute. I love how he's... It's bad because he called it... He called it... He called it... He's like 30 suckers. He's like 30 suckers. I love how everybody has a different description of Taiga Bowl. I feel like I've been sexually assaulted by the Z-tags. I adore. Taiga Bowl is definitely... Yeah, it's definitely... So now, hip hop. This shit is the fucked up thing is that it gets worse as it goes on after you do it. Oh yeah, it's horrible. Hip hop. No. Right now, do you ever realize... That y'all might be the new version of Outcast. That's a big... I don't... I don't... That's a lot of people... That's a lot of people... I ain't taking my shirt off in no picture. Yeah, we gotta work... We gotta do a few more conscious... That's a big... It's the new version. Yeah, that's amazing. This version has a belly. That's the best compliment I've ever received. I mean... Real shit though. Real shit we look up to that... Listen. Let me... Hold up. Let me give it to you. Thank you. A lot of times when something that's so great, we look at it and then we say, that shit is great. Then we say, we want the new version of it. But the new version of it be the total opposite of it. We can never accept it. Just like designer just might be the answer to future. But we can't see that now. But what I'm trying to tell you is, we've been looking at searching for the new Outcast. Because Outcast set such a stand on the game. You being a direct Dungeon Family member. Direct beefy. And all that. Oh yeah, that shit was great. And then turn that into something else. But it then turned around and I don't think that you realize that you're the 2017 version of Outcast. Man, that's such a humbling compliment. Thank you man. If we could get there, if we could meet as much as they meant to us to somebody, then that would be amazing. What'd you do? That's the most amazing. And for us it's basically like, to me, Outcast is always going to be the only Outcast. I'm not saying it's your Outcast. Exactly. I know what you're saying. And we strive for that. We look at them like an example of something that you can do with a group. Absolutely. And I think that they hit the apex of music really. And John Depp often said when he was here, he said it was disruptive. Yeah. No, no. What's it? Well that's what they use it in technology. I said, what did you say? What did you feel about Big? And he said, Big was so disruptive. Was that the word? I don't know. It's a word like that. In technology they use it a lot. It was disruptive. It's disruptive. And that's what you guys are. The thing about it is I'm not dressed funny. Yeah, absolutely. You guys look funny. That's a compliment. That's what they're saying. And the most compliment you can ever get. It's like, when I look at you guys, there's no way I can say you guys are radical. Like y'all that? Right. Like. I literally am biggest security. You look big and rock. Yeah. We got the memes that go around. People do that at people's weeks. What the fuck are you laughing at? Relax. But what I'm trying to tell you is that's what Outcast was. Outcast was the most disruptive thing. Like when I found out that Pop Daddy directed the inversion video. Oh yeah, that's it. We didn't know that. I was like, what the fuck? It don't work. It doesn't work. It don't work. But yet and still, it worked. The first video you ever seen, Outcast and Pop Daddy. Puff called Run the Jewels. What? Wait, explain this please. Some people who follow Killer Mike may remember me running around with Puff for like a year. Me and Beat Boy were trying to broker a deal where essentially Purple Ribbon would have gave me to Bad Boy and I would have been a bad boy. When I went in, Puff played like eight records. He had the records or the aspirational records where I can rap. I can rap like pretty much anything that's out. Like I rap. I can rap. I got a few different styles. You know you can rap. Half of it was. Half of it. Half of it is whatever was going on in rap. Great records or whatever was going on. Good records. And the other half were records that from an aspirational standpoint sounded like what me and Elle ended up pointing. Not the perfect version, not the right version, but they were already in a ballpark of what company flow was doing. What an early Wu-Tang sounded like. That bomb squadish type shit. It was that. Puff said, yo, he said, it's two different yous, man. Both of them. Dope. I mean, I could do something with both. And he heard his record. It was either Bad Day, Worst Day or like it was one of the records I released during the play series. It was like Burn or something. He said, but this record, he said, you give me this. He said, man, I make you motherfucking. And he just started naming these revolutionary type raps in it. And when I finally got in the room and her Elle's beats, it hit me what I was supposed to be. You know, it's a lot of different in New York. You're not the same person. Yeah, I'm seven different. Yeah, you your father, husband, you know what I mean? Relax. Puff called it. He was like, this is this is what you should be doing. And it just took me that long to find the perfect producer and partner to be doing it with. But that's why I've never doubted his genius. And he shitted on me the next three years, not in the bad way, just like every time. Like, yo, he's full of fucking signs. Finally, I just had Linux, his spaz, like, what the fuck, man? I couldn't make me sign a nigga, big boy, when signed the Pakers, man. He was like, hi, baby, it's all good. I see why he is him. No, he really knows it. And that nigga gave me one of the most crazy ass speeches. It scared me. I thought he was a devil for like five minutes. Oh, man, this nigga, right? This nigga said, this nigga said, yo, man, you got to get your boy big. He was walking, he said, you got to get this nigga signed the contract, man. This nigga doing, they say, man, this nigga walked a couple of hundred thousand. He said, we're going to make that bag, baby. He said, he said, I can see that. He said, look, we get the leather jackets. We get the leather jackets. We start, we start vibing. He said, I see this shit. He said, now we say, he said, we jumping out of cars. We jumping out of trucks and jumping off planes. He said, he said, I ain't never did this shit, but I know y'all south-lingers. We go get the bad boy James. Looks like shit that I got the froze face and the nigga looked me dead in my head. Yeah, you like that, don't you? Hey, look, I kept the face nigga with him on my mind all night. Yeah. Hey, man, I tell you, man, if you start with pump for or you get mad later, you can't say you're one about it. It was about choice not for us, man, because he don't twist your arm, man. That dude could sell a goddamn water to a whale, man. That's a fact. They wouldn't even say about puff. They say, if you work for puff and you survive, they get your job anywhere. Yeah, he's an amazing human being. I fucked with him. Like, you've never met a more motivated motherfucker than that. I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna be honest with you. The other day, real shit, we dropped the episode, the puff episode. And we tried in TV world, but that's cool. I wanted to try what we tried then. Yeah, fuck it. Fuck it. I said that nigga, I said, man, we ain't number one right now. And he said, no, this is the other episode was number one. Just relax. But I said, this is probably the episode. You're supposed to be trying number one. And he said, you nervous? I said, you forgot what it feels like. Maybe I didn't say that. Guys, fantasy, drug facts like that. But that's how I'm running strong. Look, I'm so competitive that that's how much I want to stay. That's what New York, man. That's why y'all are so good for the game. That's why I have become such a better rapper. Well, like I always been a dope ass rapper. But the discipline is, I ain't a guy ain't shagging me, I mean. I mean, don't be shagging. I'm telling you, man, for real, I ain't even never meet no bitch. I dated, said I disappointed her. So have some nuts about your shit. I'm a country nigga, you know what I mean? But I love it, man, because his, his want to shit on motherfuckers and show them I got the discipline. Y'all are special. I used to wake up in the morning just to beat my son to the bathroom. But now I just bought a dog. Where's Mike at? Where's Mike at? What kind of dog I got, Mike? I got a Yorkie now. How do you got the drug deal with Spanish dog? So wake up at 5.30 in the morning. I'm so competitive that I want to wake up a month. The dog? I'm disrespectful. The cat woke up before me. Listen, I always woke up before my whole house. Not a dog kind of wake up at 5. You're a fucking wretch. Yo, you gotta get up. Like, hold up, you up. Get up. I beat you today. You don't get jealous of the dog? No, it's three days. I'm a bitch. Already, because he woke up before me. When I get some, I just want to keep working at it. I want to kill, I want to drill it. I don't ever want to celebrate it. Celebrate my success. I want to live my success. Does that make sense? I make a lot of sense. Because I have success 17 times. So it's not that. But the thing is, I understand that things go away. Like drink, chat, spark, head, all my friends, all my friends. Who is my real friends in hip hop? I tell them, hurry up and come do drink chat. The reason why I tell them hurry up and drink, do drink chat. Not because I don't think we're going to be as talented. We'll be as talented because we're unscripted. We'll be as talented for the rest of our life. But at some point, somebody's going to say fuck it. Fuck these names. That's what the New Yorker understands, though, man. Y'all get it. I want all my friends. I want to embrace all my friends. I want to embrace real hip hop. I want to embrace people and say, you know what? Give you flowers. Even though I'm not giving you real flowers, I'm going to give you a shot. And I want to continue to salute our people because why don't we salute our people? We are the only culture. And I'm not saying race. I'm saying, I'm saying, I even see Frankie and Beverly and Mays and all these people, they touring. And all this crazy shit. Why don't we stick together the older we get? Like everybody wanted Jay-Z to be out of here. Every time Jay-Z do a new deal, I text this nigga and I'm like, congratulations. Thank you for continuing to do what you do. And he's 47 or whatever age he is. I'm 39. We're 40 yet. But they told me I was old five years ago. Five years ago they said it was over for me. But you knew it wasn't. It's the only culture. But you knew it wasn't. I know, I know. But I love my haters. It's a difference. A lot of people, I love my haters. I invite my haters to coffee. To coffee. Even though I don't take crossfit. To crossfit. But what if one says? I'm different. My haters got my phone number. Come on, let's all work out together. Burpee still there. Everybody's different. Yeah, man. Oh, fuck, y'all. It's a funny way to be. But what is our culture? The first people to kick our people out. And I'm not saying race. This guy's not gonna do a race. I think there's change in them. There's definitely change. I believe me and my partner with the title of Running To A Turtle. He's very tight. He's got an old pack of. Do you know he had the brief difference when he walked in? He was like, yeah. Like, usually he got it on better. He can't do that. He feels great. Thank you. He has a brief difference. It's gonna be tight and may as well feel good, you know? Very tight. But why in our society, our culture? And I mean, even in the hood. That's changing. If you think about it, if you think about it, even in the hood, the old Gs still got a smack in there. They're gonna be old Gs. I was watching Carlitos while you're thinking about that. Yeah, Carlitos. And they did not shout. They did not shout. They weren't keeping their up. He didn't do the things. Let me get light. I got that one. I think hip hop though has just got to the point where we get legacies. We get it. You know, we didn't get it. You know, like boxing, man, you're just trying to make it out of somewhere. Hip hop and get out of the garage like real hip hop. Nah, it's hip hop. It's all hip hop. It's all hip hop. It's style. Like if you look at martial arts, you can practice jiu jitsu. You can practice nijitsu. You can practice taquito. You can practice, I mean, a keto. You can practice all these things, but it's all from the same place of wanting to improve yourself. Like this is my look. I'm not trying to be right. My trainer is actually a teacher. He's like an instructor. So it's like our styles are different, but it's a yen and a yang. They balance each other so well. I feel they made the perfect rap group. I think that on some hip hop shit, we just got to the point where we accept styles. So Kendrick Lamar's first record, to me, stylistically embodied outcasts of Quimini. You saw the heavy influence. Big Boy does not get his credit, but let me say today, if you love Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar, you love Big Boy Wine Patterns. I don't give a fuck what she's saying. What are you saying? What are you saying? If you love Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne's Wine Patterns, when they go into this weird, freaky double time, that is directly out of the first two outcasts. And it's such a beautiful influence. If you listen to the killer mic, stylistically, you're listening to influences of ice cubes, scar face, you know what I'm saying? Storytelling abilities, slick, rick, gnaws. And I think that we've just gotten to the point where my son's 22. I used to have a child when I was a child, but I used to ride around him in a fucking 95 and Paula. Beating Capone in the re-a-ga. Beating AZ. Sing it that verse. Beating this shit too. I said, what you want for your 22nd birthday? I just want the AZ door to die out. Yeah, because it's just a style of him. He doesn't see the East versus South. He doesn't see that AZ had to be contrasted against a Southern group. So he likes all that shit. As he starts to fucking rap and produce shit, it all influences him. So for me, I'm happy that we're in an age now where style, because now what I hope to see in my lifetime is a young act doing a huge stadium world tour and the act that they look up to opening for them. Much like the Rolling Stones did, Muddy Waters. We introduced Muddy Waters to the world. Yo, thank you so much. Let's make some money. This is what I'm saying with hip hop. That's the thing is, in hip hop, when you were hip-forward, I'm 39 years old. I'll be 40 this year. Let me say a lot of your hands are bastard. Thanks so much. I'm gonna be 40 this year. In hip hop, when you get to a certain age, they want to kick you out. They want to say, but why in rock and roll these guys? That's what they supposed to want to do. Even in the hood, it's like... That's what they supposed to want to do. You got to blame the old niggas for not doing hip hop no more. No, the old niggas for getting old and uncoordinated. Yeah, I still buy music. That's what I'm saying. I don't own any cool. Yeah, so you got to buy music. My thing is, man, when you come to the juice show, you see kids as young as 18, niggas as old as 50. But listen, y'all embody, I don't believe in this ageism shit. Nah. Because y'all embody that. What y'all doing right now, like what you said when you went... No, no, no, no. Y'all will be separate, separate sets, and then run the juice, you have the young crowd or whoever. That to me, I don't give a fuck about ageism. Whatever it be, in art, you recreate yourself, you put yourself out, and it's gonna make sense to somebody. Yeah, but it's still not something that has been done that much in hip hop music. No, hip hop is lacking that. That's what I'm saying, so... We're young, man. I agree, but I think... We're growing old. We're only 43 years old. Here's what I think about that. What I think is that there's... I think that there's better and better music being made by people who are closer to their 40s, and in their 40s now. Because you got more experience. You have more... I mean, look, you have one task. When the task is you don't want to become boring, you don't want to not relate to people who are listening to your music, and if you stay sharp, you're not gonna do that. But also, there's an experience that comes. The one thing that's cool about getting older is that you just... Y'all love LP. Every two passes, he takes one. Yeah, I'm gonna say that about... If I take it back, and then I pass it to him, he'll be like, nah. And then I smoke it for like two drinks. He must have a science. He has a... He's a science. I'll improve my career. I'll get to you. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. You're a strong adversary. No, I don't know what the fuck I'm saying. I'm just saying that there is something to be said if you're a little bit older. That's it. This is where I'll say it. And I don't think... There's something there. At an older age, we don't have to subscribe. We don't have to be into... The problem is just getting your kids. You're getting your kids. Motherfucker, don't be like... I'm saying, do you? Do you? Stop looking at me. I don't remember when. Nigga, did you buy a face last album? Exactly. It was jammed like a motherfucker. And the same man who works on Kanye's records. Worshipped from his face. You know what I'm saying? So if you like my idea, you stupid fuck. Go buy the music and shut the fuck up. Stop tricking all your money at the Young People Club and put that shit in your car and ride around and smoke some dope. You and your young broad. That's what the real needs... I know who's still to pull up on you. What's the name of that album that's number one right now? This is still got up. Runnin' Jules III. Runnin' Jules III got down. Yo, you fucked up my ear yesterday. I got headphones on. You should've put it on the microphone. Runnin' Jules III, number one in the motherfucker country. Four weeks. How? Migos came out of there. We go there. We go there. We go there. You want to help? This week is 300 weeks. Yeah. Because you know why this is a Migos too. I love it. Because I am what I like to call hip hop. What I mean by that is you could throw me in Atlanta, Magic City. You might think I got perm minutes. Perm minutes? Gauze. Gauze. I'm gonna throw my timber rubies on. But they gonna look like perm minutes. Let me hand you over. Because I got coke. I don't mind. Throw me in Brooklyn. I might catch a body in East New York. I might. You're not. But I got that every coke. And hip hop is something that we should be celebrated like. I'm not gonna lie. Every year I get mad when a person say, these people shit in the bin on their hip hop. Hip hop, excuse me, the rock and roll whole of fame. And the rock and roll. And I sit back and I spit. I mean, I love it. But at the same time I be like, what the fuck are we worried about being the rock and roll. Where is the hip hop? Whoop hop. All of fame. You got to support your guys on the top. So it happened. It's gonna happen. And with that said, we made rock and roll. So we supposed to be there too. Like don't get it fucked up. I get that. Like straight up. I don't shit it. I remember Aryan with a t-shirt and a fucking A-grade NWA was going. Like till I die, it's fucked you. I knew that seven, eight grade. What happened? It's like my fucking NW. I was that motherfucking kid who, Eleanor 1975. So hip hop officially was 72, 73 they say. Please stay with your dog please. We got twin in the building. He's a gift for you guys. Thank you so much. Yo listen, if you guys been following Dream Champs, you knew from the beginning that twin. I don't know, there might be reverse though. Sorry. Yeah, you take that home. But listen. Oh yeah, this is my dog. Thank y'all. Thank you man. No problem, this is what we do. We offense slips his album in there. Well he's in it. He's on it. He's on it. He's on it. We know that. So listen, if you been following Dream Champs from the beginning, you understand that you know that twin has been a part of the show. You understand that twin has had an accident very soon. And you understand that Dream Champs is going to stand by twin. Absolutely. And we're going to hold his ass down. Absolutely. And we're going to make sure he walks, stands, rolls, whatever, again. Absolutely. Because we love this guy and he is here. This is the second show he's been back. Give him your mic, guys. Let's hear it for Dream Champs. What's up Dream Champs family man? I'm so happy to be here man. It's my happiness, you know what I'm saying? Yes. So I feel happy as well. My spirit gets lifted man. Yes. It's my motivation man. I said it man, when I was on the floor, shot, man, about to pass out, I swear to God all I thought about was my family and Dream Champs man. I can't. It's too much and shit. It's a year, this is a show I feel like it's going to go on for a year. That's right. It's a year, but we got too much to lose. And I was going to go down and it wasn't my time and I'm here. That's right. I'm blessed. And then we're going to get you back on your feet and get your dick working. Absolutely. It works. I'm supposed to do that twice. You smashed your real ass twice. You're going to get your dick working man. Yes. I can't beat it though. And we're going to get you... We're going to get you to eat the ass too really later. But that's bad funny too. He's been laughing too. Don't worry, we're going to get your dick working. Don't worry, he's going to help you. If he smashed, he'd go. Listen, at the end of the day, you know from the beginning of Dream Champs, Twin has been in the very first episode until, so you know, when the fans think that he wasn't around for a certain time, I see how many fans are just answering. And that's my little man, regardless of where he come around or not. But just to see his influence on the fans, people, so we said from Dream Champs policy, we're paying for the first year of UB, Villebille, what is it called? Villebille Militation. Absolutely. I mean good. Whatever I was trying to say, I mean good. So we're paying for the first year. Absolutely. And we got you, and if you need more, we're going to do it. But you only need fucking three weeks because you a Dream Champ. Absolutely. You're going to be there. You're going to be there. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But we don't want no props for that. We don't want, all we want you to do is keep getting healthy and good because we want to rank on you. That's right. And we can't rank on you right there. I know the fans are cursing me out. Yeah, we can't. This is our guy. This is our guy. This is our guy. This is our relax guy. I'm not really from relax, twin. My dick is on our feet. Relax. Relax. But we're going to get you right, twin, because we love you. I want to shout out to your family, your moms, your pops, every time we go to the hospital, they always there. And you know, we're going to get you right, twin. I don't know if we don't give a fuck what we got to do, but you know, that's what the fuck we is. We, you know, we seem to go fund me. That's not what Drink Chance is about. Drink Chance is what we got. We got you. We don't need no contract for a fund. We fund you. We go, yeah. We fund you. Go ahead, you got mad, portable lines lately. Stick with that mad, portable line. But we, that's why Drink Chance, we got your motherfucking back. And we love you, twin. I ain't gonna lie. Yesterday you almost made me cry. You ain't gonna make me cry today. That'd be amazing. No, don't do it. Don't do it. Because I love you, twin. And you know what? When I say I love you, we speak for the whole Drink Chance. Because everybody, we came around, we sat around, and we ain't gonna let you sit down at all. We gonna get you right, and then we gonna fuck you up again. We gonna get you right just to fuck you up. Because you went there in Vegas with $80 and came back with $20. Let's make this goddamn... And that's what we do here is kill a mic and LP. You know, me and this nigga right here, this nigga is one of the most stubborn people I ever met in my life. Come on up to it, B. In a good way. Relax. Relax. When Vino went out of style, he hated it. Because he loved Vino. He's a real hip hop guy. Gotcha. He didn't like that these guys were getting over on these computers. Just playing records with the... Making my life story? Relax. It sounds dope. Just roll with it. Go for it. Just roll with it. But it's true. That's how I hit pop here, guys. And I said, you took a shot at a pole, and is this one calling on? It's twin taking the chance. Relax, twin. And this guy is so hip hop. And we came together and we said, we've been had aspirations and all the things and ideas, but look at Charles Barkley. Charles Barkley, the best journalist. You never know a dream. Charles Barkley, the best journalist. Kenny Adams, Kenny Smith, the best journalist. I'm not killing any of the best journalists, but they're people who played the game. You said journalist? Yeah, technically they're supposed to be journalists. Because they work on television. They're people who play... He's not an OP, he's not a sports guy. But if you play the game and they run on the high grass, sports, conversations, you know why? Because they played the game. Where is that? What's that fucked up for telling Chuck though, you don't know nothing about back to back? Oh, you talking about the Drake record? Nah, whatever they was talking about though, Chuck, was implying something about championships. And Jack told them, you don't know nothing about back to back. He never won a championship. That was the scene. Let's go. No, no, hold up. Why are we having... We got to hold him. How do you say stop in Spanish, man? El Sate, man. Hold on, El Sate, San Diego, the whole world. San Tiano, El Sate, El Pazzo. I'm telling you, what? Yo, did she know where she made it? You got married and you did not invite her to this one. Oh, shit. I owe you these guys a record, man. It was not a record. First of all, it's... Yo, here, you guys drink this shit. No, no, no, just drink it. I can't drink it. Relax, fucking relax. Where's your socks? I don't know. Man, this shit will make you fuck a wild sock. You can't drink that. You can't... Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Oh, shit. What is this? What is this? Salud. Salud. Salud. Salud. We got the number one album in the country. What the hell? The number one podcast in the country. Let's go. Number one. How does that taste, right? Give us the play-by-play action of what it tastes like. Ah, shit. It tastes like what he said about Timberlin Boo, but I'm going to throw a little bit of soy sauce in there. Oh, my God. It tastes like grandma's soy sauce. It's a love song. She's been saving that soy sauce for a ton of years. There's a grandma something. No, there's a grandma saving something. Or like an addict. Under inner purse. It's definitely an addict's flavor in there. Cobwebs. It's just ancient, just mold. Ancient Chinese secret cobwebs where the scrolls are. This shit might not even be really Chinese. This might be just the shit that's left. This is Puerto Rican. They just do a Chinese label like, fuck it, white people, I'm anything ancient. That makes Puerto Rican sense right there. Why you racist? Why you keep going Puerto Rican? Why you keep going Puerto Rican? Listen. You know why we had the Bacardi people here yesterday? You said you hate them. And then Bacardi originated in Cuba. Cuba, don't um, um, Cuba. And then they was like, yeah, but we got it in Puerto Rico now. He just didn't like it. So now it's from Puerto Rico, it's from Cuba. I know they robbed you. Yo, how is this going to go? You've been since it opened back up. What? You've been since it opened back up. What? I did a documentary before it opened. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to see the cars. It's amazing. I had my fight booked and then I had to cancel it. Go, go now. Go before Taco Bell opens up in the fucking van. Yeah, my home girl, my wife's like, wait, wait, wait. Fuck that shit, dude. I hear it's going to be delicious. I'm like, I do like, I do like the nice shit. If they ain't got a W old town man, I ain't going to. Yeah, if people talk shit, when I do like the nice shit, I do. I hate all y'all. I don't fuck with R, B and V. I don't fuck with nothing. I need something nice. I want a small lady coming to my room to make my bed every day. Make my bed. I can tip her 100 the other day. Yeah, I want that. This is how I know I made it some place. My son goes to the cuba, right? He went to cuba. He's got a cuba wife, by the way. I got a cuba wife, he's cuba. So my son calls me. The one time he could use space time. He said, dad. I can tell he's kind of hiding. Dad. I said, what's up? He said, there's no W in the cuba. I was so happy. I was like, oh. Dad, listen. He was braised on the beach. And you know what? I'm going to keep his ass on the beach. Off that bullshit. He don't understand. He didn't understand. He says, auntie house. And then my wife told me, they said, it's this black family. They don't stay in their house. Yo, it took me years for my wife's family. It's from the rural south. Or like, smaller city. Are you telling these black folks do that too? What? Let me just tell you, people want to hear me and something. Y'all was just the first stop. Same niggas ended up in Georgia. Florida. Everybody just didn't get the fuck Indians. They come out life's getting way better. But we do the same shit culturally. Like, the first time we went to Hill to Head and her aunt was like, you stand with us. And I was like, this lady air conditioned. They came on. I'm just like, I'm just like, and I'm going to fuck my wife. My wife won them. My wife won them country women. Like her auntie in the next room. So I stopped. I was like, I'm going to bust them into the air. So I had to get them acclimated to the fact. Nah, nah, V, we doing this hotel. Now I'm going to probably get cussed the fuck out for saying that. Life is real. That's so y'all do that. No, I didn't even go. He didn't go. So your kids were like me when I used to get sent to Tuskegee. They were just down there with their auntie hot as fuck. No, my son. No, the thing is, my son is Hollywood. Only he wanted it? Only he wanted it. No, because my other kids was in New York at the time. Unfortunately, half Cuban. No, no, he listened to me. Every time he got Wafah, he said, dad, you didn't give me the W. You didn't give me the W. I was like, I'm not going to get cussed. You didn't give me the W. Reservations. It made me so proud. He doesn't know he's Hollywood. But he doesn't know he's Hollywood. And I was like, I'm doing a great job. Horrible. I'm gonna put his hands. A lot of people don't know that that's culture. That's culture. That's culture. You gotta embrace culture. He didn't know that. And who was I to tell him I gotta embrace culture, son. But he didn't know I was saying that. But that is a beautiful thing. Let's make some noise for your hip hop. I don't know about what I mean to you. But just, just, sure. You've been doing that a lot. You gotta relax. Because your shirt, I feel like your name is Javi's. Hip hop Javi. You look like I'm going to change your name. I'm going to change your name. You look like I'm going to change your name to Javi. What you doing? Stretching. Can we take a second break? 10 minutes. 10 minutes. What happened? No. One more just to see your reaction. We didn't get that shot. Nah. I'm on the edge. That's beautiful. Could we celebrate you tonight? Let's celebrate. We're not going to talk about you. You want to take a second shot? I'll take a second shot of water. I got you. We ain't got that. I'll take a second shot. I'll do whiskey. Whiskey? I'm going to do the whiskey. I'm a man. I'm a man. I'm a man. I'm a man. I'm going to do the whiskey. I'm a man. I want to shot of water. Where's that shit? It's right here. James the black one. You don't want me to do a shot of whiskey? Yeah. I'm definitely going to say no to this whiskey. Don't make it too big. We doing half glass. I got drys here. You don't wait. That is not what I want to take. It's a baby shot. The way you bought it. That's not a baby shot. Me and you are splitting that. Let's split it. Don't mind your tea. Everybody doesn't know that 35 is close. That's a good shot. We're celebrating. Thank you guys. We appreciate it. That is terrible. What's that? What's that? I'm going to drink that. Everything goes to fuck. You're drinking fucking death. Death? You're talking about the secret. When you're drinking out there, let's rack Chinese herb murder. You're playing as grandmother. That's outrageous. That shit look like bad maple syrup. You're playing as a Chinese grandmother. So how did run the Jews wind up on Massapil? Well, not anymore. We're not anymore. We did food ghost one. Massapil second. We're run the Jews on run the Jews. How did you get on Massapil? Let's talk about that. Do you know? We all say that when anyone will like it. It's not as label, but also... I'm taking it away from you. What's that? No whore. Okay, thank you. No problem. We're the people there from that label though. That label used to be Decon. They used to put a bunch of shit out. They worked with Alchemists. They put a bunch of shit out. Decon, no. Before Massapil. A lot of the guys from Decon went and merged with Massapil and partner with NAH. So we knew them from previous shit because we had deaf jokes. We worked with them in different stuff and we were peers to some degree. And so that's how we knew them. That was run the Jews too. We kind of felt like... Every label that we worked with was just right at the time. We always kept the commitment incredibly minimal. And we just moved on. So one album deals. One album deals. And we still partnered with them on some film stuff. Yeah, we're doing different shit. Massapil is the same thing. We moved on and we moved it to just basically... There is no label. It's just our management and a group of people that we hired to do what a label could do. But it's a smaller version of it. But it's really directly independent. And I want to say, we really still fuck with like Peter and NAH. They ran A-1 shit with us. And I appreciate it. Because a lot of times when you see people deal with a label, not deal with a label, there's feelings and issues. But it's not. I still talk to both of them on a regular. We're still doing things together and shit. I've actually befriended NAH and Peter. It's crazy because doing business in the way that we've done business on a smaller scale, more independent scale, has given me faith in the music industry again. Where I had lost it. Because it kind of became like it felt like a game of everybody trying to finesse everyone versus people just doing square business. You know what I mean? So I want to thank Peter and NAH because they did such square business, it never felt fucked up. And I love it for that. I'm fine. Yo, y'all hate to be... We gotta relax. You hate to too, right? Apparently we're doing another stuff. I can tell you. Yeah, I can't. Just to celebrate Runa Jules. There's no pause in here. We're gonna celebrate Runa Jules in the last one. That's it. That's it. Hey man, I have to say, please stop. Runa Jules, no more country. Come on, we gotta stay on. There you go. Cheers. A-ra. You're right. You're right. You're scary, bro. Cheechy, gotta get him. That was not good. At all. Who killed somebody for this? There's nothing good about it. Who raised him? Even by the fourth one, it's still... That's a good discussion. For supplying the tiger bone. You know what I mean. I'll leave you to life, but nobody's big enough. That's tiger bone. The same shit that... No. That's tiger bone. I'm about to say you're drinking shit old dudes. Put on shit's asses and get them hot. What the fuck? I'm about to say you're New Yorker, brother fuckers. Strange bunch, man. Spanish shit is wild. What happened? Why you put on the Spanish guy? It's your Spanish ass serving it. And you not gonna put a keto. Grande. Juan Rico. This shit that went little Mexico in it. Damn. Shit. We used to be always one is nori really black or Spanish. Like you definitely are motherfucking insane. He's blind and shit. I don't know a nigga to drink this shit five straight. Shit. This ain't got none of those Spanish people. This is like a high up big fucker. You gotta be tough though. You gotta be a special kind of tough man. Viva la Raza. If you can fuck it. Man, please don't give him his props. No, no. Kid Frost deserves his props. Oh, we're back to the hip hop. Kid Frost. MC 8. I see Lil Man more fucking... King T. I see him really soft. Exactly. It's rich and wild. Please man. I just thank y'all for some hip hop shit. You know why? That's what we do. Kilomite is we are actually... Everybody want to interview. We got nothing but love and respect for the new generation. Absolutely. But the thing is they have the radio stations for the new generation. They have now. I want to salute our legends. I want to salute people that have been here 20 years. True. 10 years. I want to salute them. That's what this is. But I ain't taking a mother fucking smidgen from my bitch's bag bougie. From nobody who's doing it. And... And... That girl is a little... Man, if I mess you turn me on I'm gonna fuck it. Fuck you, y'all. I'm not gonna strip club right now. I'm not gonna strip club. Take one, it's down the street. Y'all don't go together though. Shit, hold my mic. I see all that. You're close at all the time. My girl cannot do strip club. The next time I pass it you go on the same girl. Pay for this stripper. Bam! She Spanish. I said, what's she do? She was next to you. Every perfect situation got this killin' you. So run the jewels. Y'all guys are on tour right now. That's the only reason why y'all came in. Because y'all busy like shit. Thank you, college though. No, no, y'all family. LP, killer mic. I want y'all to both know that this is the first time that rapper slash DJ was actually running the media. Actually never have to go to scope-saving. We're the Eric B. & Rock Him a podcast. We got media people busy with stuff every week. So the thing is, you actually don't gotta go to online or gotta go to a Ricky smiley show or whatever. You come to your own and present whatever information it is. But so with that being said, I say that to say this, talk about this tour. Tell us about this tour. Every show sold out so far. We got, I mean, it's crazy. It's bigger than we've ever done. We've got 2 to 3,000. They killed it in Miami today. It's a 5,000. We're doing 5,000 in LA. We're doing 5,000 in Chicago. We're doing four nights in a row, Terminal 5 in New York City. So it's crazy. We've never seen it like this. We saw Bladesman. It's incredible. We're... Exactly. And I'm gonna try and sneak out before you offer me the next one. No, I'm going to offer you very soon. He might make you smoke and he'll put it in your mouth. Real shit though. It's been amazing to witness, like, for us, you know, seeing this tour blow up like this has been incredible and we're just giving everything we have. I mean, we're literally doing... We're just back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back shows. This is the first couple of days we've had off the whole tour. And that came to see us. And we came to see you. Let's make some noise so you don't come to see us. Because, listen, from here on out, I want to be... This is to be the first announcement with you guys. Anytime you got something you want to announce, you want to propose, you want to bring to the world. Get out of your chest. Why would you do it with people who's not a rapper, not a DJ, not, you know, come bring it to us. We'll bring it to you. And we're going to explore that shit. It don't matter where the fuck we at. We're coming to Atlanta. We're coming to Brooklyn. We're coming to fucking... everywhere. Afghanistan. I was thinking of another cool place. I'm sad. We'll go there, too. Wherever you at. You want to go to the moon? Yeah. You'll never escape us. Crazy drug experience. Why wouldn't you? Now, let's just say... let's just say... Now, I'll call you out tomorrow. And say... I want to be a part of the Running Jules 7. 7? Damn. Yeah. I mean, I'd probably just be like, alright, yeah. Hi. Why would you announce that with anybody else? What us? No, if that happens, you're the first people. Oh, no, no, no. You said, sorry to god, it's just done. Trust me. I will get out of... You will give you that scoop. No, wait, it looks good. I've never worn a shirt for an artist that was here. This is my first time. That's a rare one, too. That's the Metal Gear one. You know, we're characters on the video game. Metal Gear. That's what. I got that shit. That's the special Xbox. Yeah. So me and Mike are downloadable characters that you can play in the game. I think I've never played a video game in this life. I just... Oh, man. You're very trying to do that. Hell yeah, and I played their characters. And I didn't play it after that one time. I played my character... One time? What are you talking about? You fucking guy. You're horrible. You played it? Yeah. I love the joint. You got the rainbow jittle. This is my friend's band, Auto Lux. Go ahead and forget it's on my jacket. Shout out to Auto Lux. Shout out to Karlo. We respect them. Let's make them the gay people. Got that. We got love. We got love for everybody. Wait, let it go. I don't know why you keep doing that to me. Stop, Max. Relax. I'm battling your relax right now. It's killing me. But we salute hip-hop. You guys have came here. You guys have hanged out. And you want one more shot, Tiger? No, definitely not. Can't be pussies. We gotta do it. Angry men. No, no, no. You can't do it. No, no, no. He can't do it. I'll do your shot for you. I'm sick. We're all sick. I've been sick for nine years. I do my part in the shot. Don't mess with me. He's your real partner. He's a real boy. I don't want to be the guy that's pushing on me. Do you understand where Brooklyn is? What is Brooklyn? When a person say Brooklyn. I don't even know if he's a shot. No, no, I fucked you up. That's too big. This is fake, bro. You didn't take your only shot? No, bro. I just poured that. I'm watching. I'm watching you, though. You're acting crazy right now. Relax. Because you know why? We're at the Jules. It's the motherfucking number one album in the country. And you know what we're going to do? Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam Zam I ain't gonna make the nigga, ain't sayin' shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's like an all-niggas rock. He's not the rap, or is he at? Yeah, he was around. He might have skated out of here with Son of Spanish, but he's a dope. Cuz, last year, he got a single called Pots and Pans. I rapped on it with him, and that motherfucker Fatt, we just shot the video. Are you satisfied with what you did in the industry, or you still want more? I'm doing, so I can't be satisfied with what I did. I'm gonna tell you the purpose. Everyone in the Jules record has gotten better, because we remain unsatisfied. Every record we gotta top ourselves. As long as I keep that mentality, we here. Like, I want, we have a fuckin' Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant mentality when it comes to motherfuckin' rapping. Like, I be goddamn if you say the motherfucker's one dope. You can shout on fuck with it, you can shout on fuck with them, but fuck you motherfucker. You gon' know if I get on the track, or he get on the track with your favorite rapper, we're going to try to wipe the motherfuckers down. Every time. That's what I like to hear. You know what I mean? Like, that's what it is. That's what it is. So hip-hop is never died. It can't die. Never died, brother. Tell them. How can it? Like, motherfuckin' like, you listen to a Scarface album. Woo! All you motherfuckers, I wanna rap. I wanna be a rapper. I wanna go listen to a Scarface record. I was listening to him in the seventh grade. So I had a fuck on the rest of my lords. It's just that simple for me. It's Gucci Man and new Scarface. For him? Look right there. This is cuz. This is cuz, man. Look over here. Is that saying you gotta go? Goop. Goop. You definitely have to go. You know what, man? Goop can rap, but Goop is already the greatest AR in the gang. I think he the new puffy. He's picked more fucking stars out of Atlanta than any ANR ever. He has made. He's an incredible motherfucking rapper. He's an incredible entertainer. I salute some love for him and his wife. But that motherfucker knows how to pick a star, man. He picked me, though. He's picked yours. He picked. To me, he's picked the last five years of Atlanta. And not even picked on the big homie. Just genuine like he fucked with it. That's what's pure about him. Like he fucked with you. Like he fucked with you. He gonna fuck. Like I remember pledge two walking in the studio saying, Hey, Goop, I got a fucking verse. Now you'll jump on it for me. And 30 minutes later, I had his verse on album. Just after like Mike, I feel like when he came to me, like, hey man, I want to put you on black t-shirt remix. Boom. So he's never not been the same human being, man. I applaud that motherfucker every time it's a loop. Big up Gucci, man. Absolutely, man. This is the biggest Gucci bag I've got there. Gucci man, I'm gonna go about it one time. I call Gucci man. Cause like you. You gonna continue it. Sorry. LP. Chill out Mike. Drake sounds familiar. We gotta do a lot of things before we go to sleep. Stretching. We gotta get out of here sooner. No, no, we don't. Very important. Alright, come on, let's do a picture and then we'll have a... Alright, let's do a final mix of noise motherfucker shit. I apologize. Didn't you just do that? No, we didn't really do that. Relax. So let's just thank them for coming. Let's just talk about that verse. Yo, motherfucker, we gotta run the jewels in the motherfucker house. Make some noise! Make some noise! Alright, come on, let's do a picture and then we'll have a... Alright, let's do a final mix of noise motherfucker shit. You're better, you're right. Alright. Alright. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll be back.
