This is a Fox News alert. Splash down in just minutes. I'm Lee Cilicera, Artemis-Jew astronauts on their way home after nine days in space. The Orion spacecraft will land in the Pacific near San Diego. They're coming in at roughly 25,000 miles an hour. Compare that to missions coming back from the International Space Station in low Earth orbit. They come in at 17,500 miles an hour. So a lot more velocity, a lot more energy as they hit the Earth's upper atmosphere. And that is going to create a lot of friction, putting almost 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit on the heat shield. Fox says Jonathan Sarri at Johnson Space Center in Houston. The recovery ship, the USS John Murthay, is awaiting the crew's arrival, along with a squander and military planes and helicopters. President Trump now at a fundraiser in Virginia before he left. He was asked about the negotiations taking place this weekend in Pakistan to end the fighting with Iran and the passage of tankers through the Strait of Hormuz. We will have that open fairly soon. Vice President JD Vance is leading the U.S. delegation separately. Israel and Lebanon are set to meet in the U.S. next week in an effort to work on a way to remove heads from the country and normalize relations. The U.S. economy feeling the effect of the rising tensions in the Middle East. Inflation grew nearly 1% in March. That's on par with one economist predicted tripling from February. It's the largest increase since June 2022. Fox Business says Connor Hanson at the White House. The White House says this is only a temporary spike, pointing to price drops in products like eggs, beef and dairy. A federal judge has temporarily barred the state of Arizona from enforcing its gambling laws against predictive market operators in a lawsuit filed by the Trump administration after state prosecutors filed criminal charges that claimed Calchi is running an illegal gambling operation there. America's listening to Fox News. The arrest of an illegal immigrant accused in a deadly hammer attack in Florida could lead to his deportation. Robert Joaquin was caught on video beating a woman to death with a hammer. Acting ICE field office director in Miami, Kelly Walker said a state and federal effort led to his arrest. Mr. Joaquin is being held at the Lee County Jail in charges of homicide and property damage. He was illegally smuggled into the U.S. from Haiti in 2022, arrested and given a deportation order. A temporary protected status for Haitians let him stay. Walker said Joaquin will go through the courts, but if a judge orders him to leave, ICE will take him. He will make sure that he never gets to the streets of the United States and gets back to his home country. The Trump administration moved to end the protected status, but that action was blocked by a federal judge in February. Gernal Scott, Fox News. Former Vice President Kamala Harris says she's actively considering another presidential bitch. She made the comments during the National Action Network's annual convention as possible Democratic candidates look to make inroads with black voters. Animal activists are calling for people to join them at a Beagle breeding facility in Wisconsin. Rijland Farms in Dane County, Wisconsin is under a court order to re-home about 2,000 Beagles and surrender its breeding license by July. They made a deal with a prosecutor in order to avoid animal cruelty charges, but the company is accused of slow walking the process, so volunteers with the coalition to save the Rijland Beagles are planning to remove the dogs April 19th. The company has Congressman Mark Pocan for protection. I've been doing this now in my 14th year. I've never had a company ask for security protection from Congress. He says Rijland Farms needs to focus on that court order. Why are they playing games? I think is the real question. Rijland issued a statement saying they're concerned about the safety of their community. Fox for Jill Nato, I'm Lisa Lissera. This is Fox News.
