You know that glow that you see on people just seem to radiate health. It's not just great lighting. It's what's happening inside their body. And one of the best-kept savers to looking and feeling amazing is collagen. You see, as we age, our bodies naturally produce less collagen, which can lead to wrinkles, thinning hair, brittle nails, and just feeling less flexible than we used to. But the good news is that you can support your body naturally. With high-quality collagen from Natapath, you're giving your body the building blocks it needs to support smoother looking skin, stronger nails, and shinier hair. And some studies also suggest collagen supplements may help support bone health too. You see, it's not about turning back time. I know we want to do that, but we just can't. It's about feeling your best at any age. And right now, as a Kim Commando listener, you can get Native Path Collagen for just a fraction of the retail price, plus free shipping and a free gift bundle. Just go to getnativepath.com slash Kim. So, is your car tracking your location, your phone data, and your driving habits without your explicit permission? When we come back, I'm walking Lauren through the connectivity settings and the app features she needs to flip to take back her privacy. And stick around, because I'm also sharing a story that's going to make you want to go out to your driveway and look under your dashboard. I bought a used car and found a live cellular tracker tucked away in the port that was still talking to the previous owner. I'll tell you exactly what I found and where to look for your own digital hitchhiker right after this break. Every business owner I talk to asks the same question. How do I make AI work for me? And in the upper right-hand corner, there's a link that says Ask Kim. Lauren in Washington, D.C. Hi, Lauren. Welcome aboard. Hi there, Kim. Thanks for taking the call. I wanted to pick your brain about something. Okay. You're a smart lady, and I bought a new car. What did you buy? It's a Ford Explorer 2025. I traded in my 10-year-old 200,000-mile Explorer. Oh, wow. I hung on to it for a long time. But this one's really different, and I'm concerned. It almost drives itself. I'm concerned that it's collecting lots of information about me and my driving habits and maybe other things that my phone connects to without explicit permission, And I'm wondering how I can opt out of whatever I can. Yeah, that's always the big question because you're right. Cars are roving computers right now. Yes. And think of all the electronics that you see. Boy, what a difference. Ten years, I bet, right? Yes. Yeah, it's like going into a spaceship. What is the one thing that has shocked you? It just about drives itself. Is that it? If I let it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and sometimes I get in my car and I feel like that too, because it automatically puts you back in the lane and it slows down and gives you warnings and all the other stuff. Yeah. Am I really that bad a driver As you start looking at this roving computer that you have in the Ford Explorer it also has an app right A lot of the magic happens in the app. And so if you go into on the sync screen, go to settings, then get connectivity and connected vehicle features. That's where you can switch the data to be off. now you can you can also go into the ford owner portal for the same thing and you can review some subscriptions there um and you know you can ask the dealer to kind of walk you through this yourself um i had i had to i had to do that with the car i bought a used car and um it was still tied to the previous owner and and i so i couldn't access the phones i couldn't access the app i couldn't access the phone's feature but here let me tell you something else this was really wild So I bought this used car, right? And as the dealer was going through all the features and getting rid of the old guy and putting me on, is that he found a tracker in the OBD port, a cellular tracker that goes down to the foot. And I'm like, wow, isn't that wild? So now I'm like, every advice I'm telling people, buy a used car, I'm like, check for a tracker, folks. Okay, I mean, really wild. So, but congratulations on the purchase. Look inside the app. Thank you. And again, it's going to be under share vehicle data under connectivity. Wow. From 200,000 miles, 10 years to a brand new car. That's pretty wild. If you want more tips like this, join nearly a million smart readers who get my newsletter every day. It's called The Current and you can sign up now for free over at getkim.com.
