So hopefully you all enjoy your day today and have a nice weekend coming up with some fun plans. But we got a lot to get into today. We're going to talk more about what Howie and Nick had to say at the Combine, some kind of like second tier takeaways that are not AJ, Mannion, Jalen related, you know, more like the second group of questions there. And then we're going to continue our free agency preview with a look at the cornerbacks that they could sign. I got 14 names to go over with you. They need a cornerback too, which we'll talk about in a little bit here based off what Howie said. So we got a lot to get into. And speaking of Howie talking, Dave Dombrowski was on the WIP Morning Show on Wednesday. Great interview by them. Good questions as always. And I've said it a few times on this pod, but in a year where Howie didn't have a great year, right? Like not a lot of great free agency signings. A draft class looks only okay. They didn't win a playoff game. His stock just continues to rise whenever any GM does anything else. And Dave Dombrowski on the morning show, his willingness to just make excuse after excuse and throw people under the bus was wild to me. It's hard. I don't want to constantly be hyping Howie up, but just the way he handles things compared to other GMs is crazy. Howie's The way he talks about AJ, all he's done is hype him up. Great guy, great player. You don't get worse by subtracting players, right? Tanner McKee, trade questions about him. Hey, we love Tanner. We have a ton of faith in him. People will make offers, but it doesn't mean we're going to... The way he handles things and the way he doesn't throw people under the bus, even if he knows what the truth is. Like what Dave Dombrowski said, like what he said about Bryce, right? When he said Bryce wasn't... We'll see if he can be a lead again. Super messed up to say. a hundred percent and the fact he said it was wow but then he's on the morning show on Wednesday and it's like well you know in the playoffs our hitters haven't had big hits our pitchers haven't made pitches at the big moments uh he talked about the loss to the Mets and how they had two all-star relievers come in and they and they blew that um he talked about Stott and Marsh have not developed into all-star players like they kind of thought talked about how you know they didn't have the money to sign Kyle Tucker but he knows Kyle Tucker's a better player than Adoles Garcia which can all be true but the fact that he is again speaking to the media and like putting down his own players is crazy to me so look how he's not always going to make the right draft picks he's not always going to make the right trades and there's going to be years where the team's not that good but the way he handles media it's just crazy how much better he is at it than Dombrowski And then obviously Maury's had a rough year as well with the Sixers. So, man, I just, you listen to Dombrowski, the way he's like, you know, he was talking about, you know, I'm not just going to make change, you know, people that just want to make change to make change. It's like, yeah, man, that's what we want. We have seen the Phillies struggle the last three postseasons, not get out of the first round. Like, yes, what we want to see is a change because the team has not been good enough. I just, I thought it was a very off-putting interview. Not to get on a Phillies rant, but it's been on my mind, and I wanted to talk about it. But let's get into the thing you care about. I mean, you care about the Phillies too, but you should be listening. I hope high hopes for the Phillies. We all know that. Let's get into the topics of the day. And wanted to start with an area we haven't ever probably led the Daily Pod with, and that's the kicker. That's Jake Elliott. So Howie Roseman was asked at the Combine about Jake Elliott and about his confidence in him. And as you might imagine, as any good GM does, and I'll play this audio for you. Here is Howie talking about Jake Elliott. You know, I think that Jake has been a tremendous kicker for us since we got him off practice squad in Cincinnati in 2017. Tremendously clutch. Have a lot of confidence in him as a player, as a kicker, as a person, a captain on our team, and continue to believe in him as our place kicker. So again, not to stick on the Dombrowski thing, but just look at the difference there. Jake Elliott is coming off of a disastrous year to some degree, right? Didn't kick well, missed a kick in the playoffs. And look at the way he hypes him up. What would Dombrowski have said there? Dombrowski would have been like, yeah, Jake missed a bunch of kicks this year. We'll see if he can be a great kicker again. Who knows? But yeah, he missed a bunch of kicks. So how he says that about Jake Elliott. But the takeaway here is they do have a decision to make about Jake Elliott. So let's talk about the year he had, what their options are moving forward, and what I think is going to happen there. So Jake Elliott had maybe the worst year of his career in 2025. He made 74% of his kicks. It was the second lowest in his career. In 2020, he made 73% of his kicks. But that was for a team that didn't win many games. So I think the missed kicks this year probably were more impactful. um in he's been in the 70s each of the last uh uh two seasons so I should say actually it's the third lowest of his career um over you know so he's gone basically let me pull this up because now I'm butchering it I just I just talk so much about how um Dombrowski's not good at talking and look see this is what I get so Jake Elliott last year made uh 74 percent of his kicks 2024 he was 77%. So 2020 was the second worst. 2020 was the worst year of his career. Last year was the second worst year of his career. So I was correct. But he's been in the 70s each of the last two seasons after only doing it once in his first seven seasons. So his 74% last year was well below the league average. The league average was 85%. So he's 10, you know, 11% below that. He was 35th overall in kick and kick percentage among kickers. And among the kickers that attempted at least 20 kicks, only five of them were below 80%. So no matter what stat you look at, it was not a good year for him kicking. He missed a bunch of his kicks. He missed more than most kickers. And among the kickers with a high volume of kicks, he was one of the worst there too. And to make things even more concerning, he is really struggling from deep. So in 24 and 25 combined, he is five of 15 from 50 plus. Now the good news is last year he was four of eight, right? The year before, I think he was one for seven. So he definitely had a better year last year, but over a two year span, he has made only five of 15. And I know you can say, well, it's 50 plus, you're not going to make a high percentage. In 23, he was seven of eight. In 22, he was five of six. And in 2021, he was three for three. So he had been making a really high percentage of kicks from 50 plus prior to 24 and 25. So he's missing more of his kicks and he's missing more from deep. And the thing that really killed him last year was that extra point he missed versus San Francisco. You know, we talk about that game so much. The AJ drops, the Devontae drop at the end, you know, Jalen maybe not playing his best, the defense giving up a touchdown on the opening drive and then the game winning drive. despite all that if Jake Elliott makes his extra point the Eagles probably tie the game at the end of the game and then who knows what happens in overtime so Jake Elliott really hurt them in that playoff loss and he was definitely a net negative last year so they are going to have to decide what to do now part of the issue with this is he has a huge contract for a kicker um Jake Elliott has a million cap hit next year And if they were to cut him prior to June 1st it would cost million in cap space Now it not a ton of money but that is still a dead cap hit of million for your kicker Like that's not ideal if they were to cut him. Now, post-June 1st, it's $2 million in cap savings and $7 million in dead cap. So a little bit less. I think just emotionally, we can all look at 10 and say seven feels like way less, although it's really not. Bottom line is if Jake Elliott's not on the roster next year, they're going to have a decent sized dead cap hit for him. So, but if you look at it, I think the chances are they're going to bring him into camp and see how he does. There's really no point in cutting him before June 1st, unless you have a great option out there and you're definitely going to go with that option. And you just want to be kind to Jake Elliott to have him find a home. Outside of that, they're probably going to bring him to camp. Now, the tough thing is bringing him to camp and cutting Jake Elliott is like a tough, that's a tough thing to do, right? He's won two Super Bowls for you. You know, he's popular in the locker room, like for a kicker, right? I would say he gets along with guys and fans like him. Now, fans have obviously soured on him a little because he hasn't kicked as well, but he is probably the best kicker in the history of the franchise, him or David Akers. So cutting him in camp won't be easy. Now, what they could do is they could sign somebody for competition, right? Sign a lower-ish level kicker that can just come in and compete. They could, in theory, draft somebody. And I've not studied the kickers in the draft yet. Now, if you were to use a fifth-round pick on a kicker, then he's gone. You're not keeping two kickers on the roster and you're not cutting your fifth-round pick. So I think that there could be a chance they make a move prior to June 1st that makes it painfully obvious they're getting rid of Jake Elliott. But I think more than likely, what they're going to do is bring him into camp and see what happens and see how he kicks. So it's an interesting decision that they have to make, and it's an important one. They're a team that obviously can be good, but every team plays in close games and having a kicker where you have to manage around him to an extent or coach around him to an extent is tough. So I don't think they could trade him. I mean, they might be able to get something for him, but I don't think you're going to trade him. You're either going to bring him into camp and then see if he can win the job, or you're going to make a move prior. But the cap situation for it is really not good. And it's a decision they have to make this offseason for sure. The other thing that Howie said that got a little bit of buzz was that he was going to meet with Dallas Goddard's agent this week at the Combine. I understand why that got buzz when you hear about Howie meeting with an agent. It's exciting, especially if you want the player back, which I would imagine a lot of fans listen to this podcast too. But Howie meeting with agents is pretty common. He'll meet with agents all the time at the combine. And this will be an important few days for Goddard. He'll find out what his market is from other teams. It's a tough tight end class to go into if you're a tight end. I mean, you look at some of the players, Kyle Pitts, I know, got the franchise tag, Isaiah Likely, David Njoku, Chris Okonkwo from Tennessee, Kate Otten from Tampa Bay. There's a lot of good tight end options out there. So Goddard, coming off a year where he did have a great year, and I do think Goddard is a great tight end, it's just a tough free agency market to go into. So it's possible that Goddard's agent will talk to other teams as all agents do. And I know it's technically tampering, but it happens. He'll find out what his market is and maybe the Eagles and him decide, let's make something happen. Cause I'm sure Dallas would like to be back. I know he loves the area. He loves the team. But the question is like, this is also his last chance at a big payday. So I would not blame him at all for going whatever team pays him the most money. So it'll be interesting to see what comes out of that meeting. Howie has said, he did it last week when he talked to reporters, that they probably need to change a little bit what they're looking for in tight ends. But I don't really think that applies to Goddard. Goddard can block. He can catch. He's a veteran. He's a good locker room guy. I think they'd be perfectly fine having Goddard back. And really, Goddard, if you can get him back at, I don't know, $7 million a year, something like that. I think maybe like that would be a good signing because then you could draft a tight end in the first round if you wanted to, or in the second round, Goddard could be someone to help him kind of get brought along, you know, similar to hopefully how Zach Ertz did for Dallas Goddard and how Brent Selick did for Zach Ertz. And they're going to be playing two tight ends a lot regardless. So I think Goddard just makes sense to, to raise the floor of that room. If you draft a tight end in the first round, you can hope that he'll be great, but you don't really know. If you sign a free agent tight end, you can say he's been a great player elsewhere. You never know truly how that will work until he is in your system, in your city, in your franchise. So I think that raising the floor is a good move in bringing back Goddard, but we will see ultimately what ends up happening, and Goddard will get a good idea of his market over these next few days at the Combine. And And speaking of player that's going to get a good read on his market, I'd imagine it's a fun week to be Jalen Phillips agent. Jalen Phillips made it through the year healthy, had a good year, had a ton of hurries, had a ton of impactful hurries, played well for the Eagles, and he enters a free agency class that's not super strong. I mean, Jalen Phillips, I think almost any list you look at has him as a top five free agent in the class. And then you look at some of the other edges that are available, like Khalil Mack, but he's 35. um hasan reddick is a name we all know but he's not been outstanding the last two two years uh kate uh kalavon chase on from uh the patriots of course whose name i'm butchering like he's a good player i mean we've talked about this bradley chubbs out there uh kingsley and uh and nag and nagbare um so there's like decent guys out there but jalen phillips is probably the top edge on the market in fact definitely the top edge on the market and the top edge on the market is going to get paid. So I'd imagine the phone and the schedule for Jalen Phillips' agent is busy this week. So the Eagles will have a really good read on where Phillips is at the end of this week. I think they're going to try to re-sign Phillips. In fact, it wouldn't shock me if this time next week there's a deal done because I do think that they'll get the number. They'll decide if they want to do it and you can get that done before free agency. Now Jalen Phillips has every right to test free agency, but players are essentially testing free agency now. So I think they want to bring Jalen Phillips back. I do think he will probably be back. But there's always that worry that one team that has a ton of money can look at this free agency class and go, yeah, we'll just overpay for Jalen Phillips. So that would be a concern. But I do think that they are going to resign him. That would be my guess. And if you're someone that wants Jalen Phillips back, I think you'll end up being pretty happy with how this works out. Now, another position that they definitely need to make a move at, and they will based off what Howie said, is cornerback too. Howie kind of acknowledged, in my opinion, that they're going to have to add somebody there. He said Adorey did a good job for him, but I think they're going to end up adding either someone in the draft that they feel can play right away, or they'll go and sign a veteran corner. So who are some of those veteran corners they could sign? Well, we'll get into that on the other side and take a look at the Eagles cornerback position overall, but the 14 free agent corners that I think they could go out and add. So that'll be on the other side. But first, a word from our sponsors. Hey, this is Richard Deitch, the host of the Sports Media Podcast. If you're interested in what's happening with all the places where you consume sports, the Sports Media Podcast has you covered. I've been turning down interviews all week. Hoda Kopi reached out, Oprah, George Stephanopoulos. So I said, no, I was booked on the Deitch podcast before the Taylor Swift phenomenon. I must live up to my responsibility. Listen wherever you get your podcasts. Okay, so let's continue our free agency preview and take a look at a position where one of the few positions really where they could sign a starter. Like we've talked about the edge group, but realistically, either Jalex Hunt and Jalen Phillips will start or it'll be Nolan Smith and Jalex Hunt next year. Like the starter at Edge is probably on the roster already. The starter at linebacker probably on the roster, or definitely on the roster already. The starter at offensive line, receiver, quarterback, like they're all on the roster. CB2 is a spot where they could realistically sign someone that's going to play a ton for them next year because you look at the current cornerback position. Obviously, they have Quinone on one side, one of the best corners if not the best corner in the league You feel awesome about that spot Cooper DeGene how he talked about him at the Combine Vic has talked about him Cooper has talked about it I think it sounds like he going to stay at nickel And I think they still going to pay him a ton of money regardless of him not being an outside corner. But he is going to be the nickel next year. Like that sounds like it's their plan. That leaves them with cornerback two. Now they do have some players on the roster that maybe you could potentially see developing into a starter. Keely Ringo, I think at this point, it's pretty clear he's not going to be a starter. Ja'Korian Bennett, maybe. I mean, his one year with the team didn't go great, but they did trade for him. He's under contract. Maybe he develops into something. Mac McWilliams, he had a good camp. He worked his way up the depth chart. He's someone to keep an eye out for sure in trading camp and OTAs that could move up. And then outside of that, Tariq Castro-Fields, Ambry Thomas, they have some guys there that are interesting, but not really anybody that you go into next year and say, I feel awesome about him at CB2. Like, Ja'Korian Bennett could play well. Mack McWilliams could play well. But they've not been proven starters in the NFL. So, Quinion and Cooper, you feel really good about that. And then after that, they do need a second corner. Now, they could bring Adoree Jackson back. It's possible. Although, to be completely honest, the way Vic Fangio has talked about him in the past, you wonder if that's something even Vic would want to sign up for. So, let's just say they don't bring Adoree back. At that point, there's some options, right? There's trade targets, all those things. But free agency is where you can go out and you can add somebody. And what I think is interesting too, quickly, is we've done a little bit of the mock drafts and who people think they might draft. And you've seen corner in the first round for this team. I'm just going to say this flat out. I would rather spend money in free agency on a corner than use a first round pick on a corner. And, you know, if someone drops, if he's like so clearly your top guy over other guys, I get it. Take them. But I think using a first round pick on a corner when you already have Quinion and Cooper is just not the best use of a resource. And I would rather spend $10 million a year on a good veteran corner than use a first round pick on a corner. So I do think that they should avoid corner in the first round. And I think adding a corner, you know, maybe in the third round. But again, that's a rookie you don't know for sure. I think adding a corner in free agency is where they can go. Now, the question is, how much can they spend? We've talked a lot on this pod over the past few days about the cash that they're going to need. They're going to need to pay Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, potentially Mauro Jomo, maybe Nolan Smith, Jalen Phillips, who we talked about earlier in this pod. All of them are going to require cash. Now, if they trade AJ Brown, they save $29 million in cash, so that would be a big influx of cash. But I do think you could go out and spend a decent amount of money on a corner. And we have a few options here that are going to be expensive, but I think could be good players right away for them. So let's get right into it and look at 14 corners, I think could make some sense in free agency. So the top guy, probably Tariq Woolen from Seattle. He's someone Eagles fans wanted them to trade for at the deadline last year. He's not played as much for them recently, but someone that has played a lot and has played at a high level at times. So he's 26. He'll be 27 when the season starts. Six foot four, 210 pounds, long arms, long body, like definitely would bring size to the Eagles secondary. He's been in Seattle for four years, pro bowler in 2022, has been healthy, has played on 15 plus games each of the last, each year of his career. He had six interceptions as a rookie, now only six the next three, but regardless, that's a decent amount of interceptions in four years. Ton of pass deflections with 53. He's around the football a lot. He's played both sides at corner. So you could move him from, from right to left. He's not played nickel, but we know Cooper is going to be inside at nickel. Now Tariq will, and again, checks all the boxes, right? Like young, I think upside, um, has shown a ton of potential. Didn't have a great year last year. So maybe you're getting him at a decent time, but I also think he's clearly going to, going to get paid, right? He's going to maybe be the top corner available on the market. So he would be an expensive signing. Spotrak, who I'll use for all of these here, has him around $8 million a year. Seems a little low to me, but at $8 million a year, I would sign Tariq Wollin and give him a chance. And again, when you're playing with Quinion Cooper, you are going to get a lot of targets your way, but you are also playing on a good defense with a good defensive coordinator. So Tariq Wollin would probably be the top option available at corner. Next, another Seattle Seahawk, another player that Eagles fans will recognize, Josh Jobe. Remember covering Josh Jobe. Didn't have the best career with the Eagles. Never got a chance to play consistently. But has gone to Seattle and has played. He'll be 28 when the season begins. A bit undersized at 5'11". Two career interceptions. One each of the last two years. 19 pass deflections. He's only played on the outside. The Eagles only played him on the outside. Now that wasn't with Vic Fangio. So who knows? Maybe Fangio would view him differently. At his size, you would think he might be better suited on the inside. but he's someone that's going to get paid as well and you know not that it's a big deal it didn't work out in philly but you do wonder if he would want to come back after he went to seattle and his career really took off so i think seattle probably resigns one of those corners i'm not super familiar with their depth chart but you would think either josh job or uh tariq woolen will be back in seattle and then if that's the case then the other one probably hits a free agency market in the Eagles could make a move there. But yeah, Josh Jobe gets the money emoji, the baby emoji. Actually, I'm going to take the baby emoji away. 28 when the season begins is not super young. The upside emoji. So money and upside. And then Tariq Wollin got the star emoji, one of my favorite ones. Upside, the baby emoji, only 27. Pushing it a little bit there, but only four years in the NFL. And the money bag emoji. Now, after those two, I do think the free agency class takes a bit of a dip. And these are in no particular order from here on out. But a veteran guy, James Pierre from the Steelers, gets the old man emoji. He'll be 30 in September. Gets the cheap emoji. Not going to cost a lot of money. But he's 6'2", so good size. Has played six years in Pittsburgh. So has played a lot of football. Two interceptions in the last six years. And he really has started to play more these past few years. But 14 plus games every year in his career, which is encouraging. Just hasn't played a ton never more than 38 of the snaps on defense like I said these past few years he's played more now I do like that he plays a lot of special team snaps um now if he's a starting corner two you're not gonna be playing special teams ideally but he can play it if needed um only plays on the outside so uh just a veteran guy that's played you know in a good good defense in Pittsburgh good veteran backup I don't know if you feel great about him being your CB2 though but a name as a potential like high-end backup that could give you more than Keeley might as a backup all right another name Eagles fans will recognize here Asante Samuel Jr. obviously duh of Asante Samuel the great corner with the Patriots and the Eagles and a player Eagles fans have talked about now obviously last year had a medical concern gets the ambulance emoji for the medical concern there. He had a spinal fusion surgery to correct a lifelong condition that impacted his neck and shoulders. So hopefully he's feeling better now. Good to go to resume his NFL career. Didn't play a ton in Pittsburgh last year. It was, well, I take that back. He played, he was in six games and he played 232 snaps out wide. So he didn't play in like a thousand snaps, but after recovering, he got out there, he played and you know, the Steelers played them, which I think is encouraging midway through the year. Obviously, Darius Slay got cut there, so I guess they thought Samuel was better than Slay was. Surprisingly, he's only played out wide most of his career. He's only 5'10". You would think he'd be able to go in and play in the slot, but he has played out wide, and like his dad, creates turnovers. Two interceptions in each of the first three seasons of his career, obviously since then dealing with health concerns, but he is somebody that can play on the outside. with his dad having been a former Eagle. I'm sure the Eagles would love and someone that's shown a knack for the football. Only 26 years old. So I think he still has upside. So I would like an Asante Samuel Jr. signing. Gets the upside emoji, the baby emoji, the ambulance emoji, but the star emoji too because he is one of my favorite options in the free agency class. All right, this next one, Cordell Flott. So Eagles fans already remember him because he picked off Jalen Hurts last year Only 24 and he be 25 in August but certainly on the younger side Third round pick in 2022 6 175 pounds has been with the Giants his whole career has one interception each of the last three years. Now what I like about him is he's played the slot and the outside. He played outside last year, but he has experience playing in the slot. So he gets the versatility emoji. You could sign him, and if you wanted to get creative with Cooper, you could move Flott to the inside. but you could also feel good about him starting on the outside now he'll make money he's young he plays multiple positions he's created turnovers uh but he's someone that you could build with with quinion and cooper for the next year for the next few years because of because of his age um all right elante taylor from the saints so 27 years old just turned 27 second round pick in 2022 17 games each of the last three seasons so he has played a lot of football 44 starts over the last three years. So he would come in knowing what it's like to be a starting corner week in, week out. Four interceptions in four years is not amazing, but he has created turnovers. 52 pass deflections in four years. That's a good number. You like to see that. And then seven sacks in four years too. So he can be effective going at the quarterback. What I like about him is he's just played a lot. He is a younger kind of a dory in the way that he is a veteran that has just played a lot in the NFL. hell. He's played outside. He's played inside. So he gets the versatility emoji. But then whenever I'm explaining a player that sounds awesome, of course, he gets the money bag emoji. It's expected he will get paid in free agency. All right. Another option here, and this is something we've talked about a lot because Eagles have played the Packers quite a bit over the past few years, Eric Stokes. And they played the Raiders last year. So they have seen a lot of Eric Stokes. will turn 27 on march 1st so basically already 27 6-1 first round pick in 2021 so he has draft pedigree 48 starts in five years 16 starts last year for the raiders his only year with the raiders um doesn't create a ton of turnovers only one interception in five years struggled with health concerns uh you know injuries in 22 and 23 but was healthy in 24 and 25 so you like to see him bounce back play a lot of football he's somebody i think you could get a good value right i think he would have the upside emoji, you know, former first round pick only five years into his career, which is not a super short amount of time, but it's not like it's eight, nine years either. And especially after dealing with health concerns, maybe he could bounce back with the Eagles. So this would be an intriguing signing and I don't think it would really cost much money. All right, another upside signing, Darion Kendrick from the Rams. Only 25 years old. He'll turn 26 in August, played a lot of football uh three years of experience um has dealt with some injuries now the the concerning thing is he tore his acl and missed all of 2024 so he he has played a lot for for his age but he does have a year missed with a torn acl now he did bounce back last year uh in play he was cut by the rams in camp claimed by seattle then cut went back to the rams two interceptions last year though that's impressive i think for moving around as much as he did in terms of bouncing from team to team. 19 pass deflections in three years. He plays exclusively outside, has lined up in the slot a little bit, but I think he's someone that first two years of his career, upside was there, suffers an injury, bounces back last year, and with health being a concern, obviously, you can maybe get him, not a concern, but he is coming off a year off tearing his ACL, you can maybe get him at a bit of a cheaper rate. So, and also like the Rams have had good, good, good secondary guys. So it's not like he's been on a bad secondary, not playing. He's been on a good secondary for the most part and certainly in Seattle and couldn't get on the field, but I think he could potentially compete in Philly. All right. Another guy that I just don't think is that good, but it is an interesting option. Benjamin St. Juiced from the Chargers. And of course, from Washington, a six to 200 pounds turns 29 in September, third round pick in 2021 was with Washington for the beginning of his career, signed with the Chargers last year, has been healthy, has played wide corner the last two years, but also a ton of experience in nickel. So he gets the versatility emoji. And I don't think he's going to get a ton of money either. He didn't get a ton of money last year. So I had the cheap emoji as well. I'm going to give him the old man emoji. I mean, 29, that's, that's up there for an NFL player. Well, he'll be 29 in September. Maybe a little harsh on the old man emoji. All right. This is an interesting option because this guy has a connection to a new coach Eagles hired in the secondary from the Patriots and the Bills spent last year with the Bills. And that is Mike Pellegrino, someone that they that they now have on the staff. And he spent last year with him in Buffalo. And that's Tredavious White. So Tredavious White to me would be, again, like in a Dory type signing. Tredavious Wade has played at a higher level, I think, than Adore has. Just turned 31 in January, 5'11", plays outside, was with Buffalo for most of his career, then left, went to the Rams and the Ravens in 24, back to the Bills in 25, dealt with injuries in 22 and 23, but has since been healthy 16 games in 2025. And I like his tie to Mike Pellegrino. Mike Pellegrino is not the defensive coordinator. He's not the lead secondary coach guy. but I think it'd be good to have a guy he's familiar with and you can maybe get the best out of him here and I don't think you're assigning him to like a three-year deal like this is obviously not Tariq Woolen or a younger guy but as a one-year stopgap I like his playoff experience I like his experience overall and look I think he could probably teach Quinian some stuff he's been in the league a long time I think there'd be that veteran experience that would be good all right a few more here cam lewis from buffalo bills again a connection to mike pellegrino uh 28 turns 29 in april only 5-9 been with the bills his whole career only 14 starts so definitely like a unproven upside type of guy only one interception in six years plays the slot so could be a good backup slot option and again knows mike pellegrino so there's that connection um monteric brown from the Jags. Going to be expensive, I think. 26 turns 27 in August. Six foot. Seventh round pick, so props to him for getting picked late and turning out a good career. 22 starts the last two years after only seven his first two years, so he has gotten on the field more and more. Three interceptions over the past two years. Not like a crazy number, but noteworthy after having zero his first two years. 20 pass deflections. He's around the football, but 700 plus snaps at outside corner the last two years. He's worked to get on the field. And again, at his age, I think there's some upside there and just not going to cost a lot. So kind of a good in-between between somebody that is pure upside and somebody that has played. He doesn't have five years of experience, but he's been out on the field week after week the past two years. Dee Alford from the Falcons, going to get paid, is a nickel corner. So unlikely they bring him in, But if you're in a world where you do decide you want to move Cooper to the outside, which I don't think they will, maybe he could be someone that could then start at nickel for you. And then finally, Chidobe Awuze, who played for the Ravens last year. Obviously, we all remember him from his time in Dallas. Turns 31 in May, gets the old man emoji. Not going to get a ton of money, so gets the cheap emoji. He's had sporadic playing time in terms of starts, but 70% of snaps from 2018 to 2024, only 59% last year. But he plays out wide. He would be probably an uninspiring signing as your starting corner opposite Quinion. But if he doesn't get a big market, if he's cheap, if you don't give him much guarantee, not the worst guy in the world to bring into camp. So of the guys we talked to, I like Kendrick from the Rams, Asante Samuel Jr., obviously, Tariq Wolin. I like Josh Joe would be an interesting one. I don't think it's realistic, so I'm not going to give him a star emoji, but yeah, I mean, they got decisions to make at outside corner. They're going to need to sign somebody. I think even if you draft someone in the first round, like I guess you would have to start them, but you just never know how good he would actually be. So I think free agency is, they will dip into the cornerback pool in free agency. And I think some of those those are some of the guys that they could bring in. All right. Go out. Enjoy your day. Me and James are recording a pod today, so that'll be in your feed later. And look forward to talking to you guys later. So until then, he's Elliot. I'm James. Talk to you guys later.
