Summary

Jacob Latimore discusses his journey from Milwaukee to becoming a multi-talented entertainer, balancing music and acting careers while reflecting on the importance of protecting his brand, building genuine relationships, and understanding the business side of entertainment at age 29.

Insights
  • Major label backing remains essential for superstar-level success despite independent music accessibility; relationships and infrastructure built over decades cannot be replicated independently
  • Protecting personal brand and selective association is critical for long-term career sustainability, especially when fame creates visibility that affects all surrounding relationships
  • The shift from hit-driven metrics to algorithm-driven discovery means artists must focus on authentic fan connection rather than chart performance to build sustainable careers
  • Multi-platform talent (acting, music, dancing) requires strategic prioritization; financial stability from one platform enables creative freedom in others
  • Mentorship and environmental immersion matter more than raw talent; being around excellence in dance, music, and performance creates competitive growth that formal training cannot replicate
Trends
Independent artists face financial ceiling without major label infrastructure despite streaming accessibilityGenerational shift in hit record definition: younger audiences define hits by personal preference and social sharing, not chart positionMulti-hyphenate entertainment careers (acting + music + dancing) becoming standard for sustainable income and creative expressionMentorship and community-based skill development outperforming formal training in entertainment industriesArtist brand protection and selective association becoming business-critical as social media amplifies personal associationsStreaming revenue insufficient for touring-level artists; film/TV income now primary revenue driver for music artistsRelationship-based industry access (DSP connections, radio programmers, label infrastructure) creating widening gap between independent and major-label artistsArena touring and theatrical releases becoming primary success metrics over streaming numbers for established artists

Well, you know, cuz, cuz yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm talking to them but I'm really talking to myself. I'm talking to myself. I'm a bad motherfucker. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. You're a bad motherfucker. Cuz when she told me to come out I had them to sweatsuit. And it was like you want to come out on stage I was like, bro I got on the police I got to sweatsuit. I got to tire footed. I got to tire footed. And he said, I can see you ain't gonna do them to take you shirt off anyway I said. You know what? So I go in the back saying, you ain't gonna do number take your damn shirt off anyway. I was like, that's how you're right. You're right. You're right. It went crazy. So it was like it's elevators. And I'm like, okay, it's elevator is again. Yeah. I was like, okay, cool, cool, cool. And then I'm like, okay, well, let me just, let me just get some pushups going. You'll see Kenny Burns. I'm like, Burns, should I give him the, he said, yeah, yeah. In the middle of your song, just pull it off real the extra. I said, yeah, I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna do that. Right. As I'm waiting, as I'm just kind of, you know, just flexing the chest trying to get some blood in it. Oh my God. Luda and Jermaine DePrikoa. And the place goes crazy. I'm like, well, what the fuck is this? Yeah. Yeah. Well, but they put them first. That's not fair to them. Just one of me. That's what you know what? I got something for y'all. Yeah, come on. I know what I got to. I know what I got to. I really, I know what I got to. I'll be. I got to. I got to. I got to. I got to. I got to. Two. Two. Just sectional. Just. And at first, when the elevator was going up, I was just facing forward. And I was like, I was like, no, no, I'm injured. No way. I'm injured. Look over the shoulder with the. With the lat. It was real the actual. With the lat. I got 30 y'all cracking. I'm going to throw a rub like he going crazy. I didn't expect the reaction to be like. Hey, they wouldn't us. And Atlanta's my city. I love Atlanta, but they they they showed me. They showed me. I love. Yeah. Great concert too, by the way. Absolutely. Back back to you, brother. Thank you, man. We've seen you as a as a baby. Yeah. And when you drop, when I saw you perform, I was like, he's one of the co-ists. Yep. Thank you. Thank you. It was the first time. It was the first time. It was the first time. I was the first time. Wait, I'm trying to figure out. I came to your first video shoot. Was it like a mall which one? I don't know. It's the other one. Maybe, but you go. Yeah, we're filming in a warehouse. In a warehouse. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, wow. We had we had my nephew with me. That was like early on pride. Yeah. Wait before I got the sign. Yeah. Jordan was with me and we came by. Yeah. We went by the video shoot at a warehouse. I think they had to be like a mall then. We dig you there. Yep. That was like a mall. Yeah. I saw that. That's it. Because that's the thing too. Like when you go places and you get the BTS. Yeah. There's a lot of you preparing for the shot. And I'm watching. I'm like, Oh, he called. Thank you man. Simple. All right. He's dialed in. Super cool. Thank you man. Where is the where is the dancing come from because that right there in itself. I don't think people understand the people who know no. Yeah. People who know no the dancers and the artists. Everybody knows they know he's a guy. Yeah. But where do you get that from? I don't really. You know, my dad always had great rhythm. You know, he wasn't much of a dancer but he always had great rhythm. but he always had great rhythm, played the drums and stuff. And my mom was dancing a little bit. But like, for me, I think watching TV, watching Mike, B2K, watching these artists usher, and then later Chris, to just watch that. And I'm like, that's the type of performer I want to be. Like I want to be able to move on stage. And I want to be able to move people with movement. You know what I mean? Watching old, you know what I mean? And going to get role-road, I'm going to get the choreographers that's working with the big dogs. Like, you know what I'm saying? And so it was just about me. Like, I remember Dave Scott resting piece. He was my first dance class. No way. Yeah, Dave Scott was. Dave Scott, yeah. Wow. I drove from a walk in my mom, drove me to Chicago. He had a class, a master class down there. Like in something like warehouse, like dance studio, like it was dope. And I remember being like, dang, it's like this is artists. Like this is the choreographer that would be to KM. You guys are like this hard. Like this is what I be watching. So I just really started to be around it. You know, I feel like anything I'm around, I'm going to just absorb. And I'm going to get it. You know what I mean? And just developed over time. And you know, so I still try to get down there now, then. Cut it out. I still try to. I think when you never really lose it, but you know, you got to be around it. It's a muscle. Yeah. To be great. Because it's always like, you know, me being a dance as well. It's always here we go. It's all there's always new nuances that are added in the dance space that are like the it thing that everybody does. What was it today, Tech? What was the new thing today since your day? I mean, footwork is a real big thing right now. Okay. Footwork always. Footwork you are. Yeah, yeah. Cause a lot of footwork that Chris Brown does. Like you taught him. I didn't teach him. But you showed me. I did a lot of footwork around him. Which, you know, just, you know, there's influences. You know what I'm saying? You know, I'm sure you should ask Michael for him. Is that for him? And then there's tank. Then there's just tanks. You know what I'm saying? So the footwork is kind of kind of my thing. Ah, I see that. You know what I'm saying? And the acrobatics within the dance. So I won my eighth grade. I see the guy seen the move like. Yeah. Cause I don't want to do that. I don't want to do that. I don't want to do it. Cause I won my eighth grade dance competition by doing the running man into a backflip. You know what I'm saying? So it was like, I was always so it was running man. Back to the back to the. Back to the. Yeah. That's how, you know, that's how I won. So I was already hot back then. So I don't want to take that to show him from you. Like in these dance, like, like a lot of people notice or they have ever been to a dance like class or things like that. Sometimes you get noticed and then you get put in, you know, the groups of the high level groups. Okay, let me see you, you, you, you, and you. What group were you in? Man, you know what? When you're doing to the Dave Scott. Man, I feel like I was definitely, I was definitely trying to shine. I think choreography was class was a bit harder for me coming up because you had to learn fast. You have to learn in 30 minutes of teaching. You know, as an artist, we got two weeks of rehearsal. You know what I mean? So as an artist, I always felt like maybe that first day, I ain't really getting it like that, but it marinates the next day. And I get, and I'm like, okay, so the more rehearsal time I felt like I had the sharper I was. But I think class is, that's where real dancers is just really good. That's when you can bring dancers, like, oh, I'm about to do a tour tomorrow. I need to teach y'all five, six songs in a week. And they go crazy. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So that was, I picking up choreography was hard for me. You know what I mean? I'm like, what? And I'm like, okay, okay, okay. I feel like after class, I got it way better. Gotcha. You know what I'm saying? So I had my moments where it depended on like how consistent I was in class. But man, I definitely shine. Like I remember early on, they used to do these dance invasions in Atlanta when I moved to the A. And like, I used to see my brother, Shemek Moore was in there. And it was like a bunch of other than my boy Dylan Cheek and all these like choreographers we see today, Cody Wiggins, like Jeremy Strong, he choreographer for Jason D'Rula. Gotcha. Yeah. He was holding down this like dance invasion sort of like freestyle battle environment. And you know, I was a part of that. Like I won some, I lost some, but it was always, you was always around. That's where you cut it. You know what I'm saying? No cameras is around. Like you win, you lose and you come back stronger. Right. So it was just that environment, man. It was, you know, like, and that's why I just love to be in LA too. Like I'm like, I got to get around my dance people because sometimes being on set, like I'm a real actor. So I'm going to be a better actor. You know what I mean? After that. But when you come around and be like, nah, like come to the studio, come to the, come to the millennium. Like we about to get down, we about to just have a session real quick. Yeah. Like that's when you can get down and they like challenging you and you challenge them back and you getting that competitive space and you like, oh, I'm only going to get better from here because these, I'm working with the great. So I guess artists, we learn from these dancers that stay in it all day long. You know what I mean? Why we doing our entrepreneur stuff. You know what I'm saying? Who do you think is the best dancer as an artist right now? C.B. Easy. Easy. Far. Easy. Easy. I mean, like, what does he do that's impressive to you as a dancer? I think he's big. He moves like nothing small about his movement. Energy. I mean, he's floor. He's air. Like he's like, he's an Avenger up there. Like he's a, I told him, I'm like, bro, you like, this is a big, big, big, big, big, big, it's like Olympics up there. That's it. That's it. Like he preps and does the boom. And he looks in the air and then flies. Like, I'm like, bro, this is, this next level. So you can't help but be inspired by a movement like that. And you could just tell he'd been mastering it for just, you know, early on. I remember when I got, when I got signed the job, like Chris was in the building. Usher was in the building. Yeah. Justin Timberlake and you know what I mean? So I got signed to job at 13, you know? So I'm like, I feel like I'm in the building with, like, did they see you as that at 13? Did they see you in that same way? Yeah. When I was, when I was doing the showcase, it was between, I was, I did a showcase for Epic as well, but I just wanted to go to job because all my favorite artists are that job. I'm like, bro, usher and job. Like I feel like, I feel like I'm like, I feel like recruitment for you. Like when the kid goes to look at a college and they're like, oh, such and such one here. Yeah. It felt like a community, you know, I mean, even though I didn't see them every day, I felt like I'm in the same building. I'm in the same place. It was amazing. Yeah. And it was that point of just like, nah, like I'm in, I feel like in the meeting, they were just like, this is what we do. This is exactly what we do. How did that go for you, right? Coming from Milwaukee. Yeah. Going back and forth Chicago eventually moving to Atlanta. Yeah. How did it go for you as far as just the process of getting to job and getting to these labels and being in front of these executives that would ultimately sign you? Yeah. So after we really like worked in Milwaukee, I mean, we worked in Milwaukee. I worked in my own school. I was wearing my own t-shirts. Like this is my song best friend. I'm like, this is my new single. How you doing? And after a while I started buzzing in my own city. And Milwaukee's small. You know what I'm saying? So I'm at high schools. I'm at shout out to sincere. Since here was an artist in Milwaukee that was coming up and he was like, he was like crunk, brain little Jake. You know what I'm saying? I was performing for them and then my dad was writing records for me. I was printing my own t-shirts. So we had writing records. You know what I'm saying? Right. And we took that same formula. Shout out to Rico Love. He introduced me to a searchy who was my stepfather today. And he invested into me. You know what I'm saying? Early on. Early on. It was like, I was about 11. Okay. You know, we stayed in Camp Creek. I want to say during that time. Sojourn. Camp Creek. I was in the neighborhood, trace songs in the neighborhood. Like it was like, I'm like, okay, Atlanta going crazy. I remember seeing all these young artists coming up. Jocqueous. I saw Chloe and Halley, Lotto. You know, I'm seeing these. I'm like, this is the first time I'm like, I'm seeing other artists with it. See yourself. Yeah. I'm like doing that thing as well. And it was a, it was just, I just started to work at Atlanta like that. You know what I mean? And just really just start like getting in that building. And then after a while, we just start going to LA and New York, SOBs. You know what I'm saying? And then you're what, 12? I'm about 12. 13? Yeah. We going to New York and working different offices and just kind of just shopping. Shopping, shopping what we did independently. You know what I mean? And you're rolling up on them singing original music. Yeah. Yeah. That's tough. Original music. Like I'm in there like in offices just dancing. Like little small room. They like move the chairs back. You know what I'm saying? And this was early early on and we end up going to Jive Wayne Williams. Simon. Yeah. Yeah. And that's how we, that's how we did it man. We was busing out F.Y.E. stores. F.Y.E. stores was dragging. Yeah. We was doing signings. I'm in the mall. I'm passing out my own flyers. Like I really did the groundwork. You know what I mean? That most artists don't even think about it. You know what I'm saying? So it's just that. They don't really exist anymore. No. Right. They're sure because I'm sure there's still kids that want to school with you. Yeah. That remember that T-shirt. Remember you from recess. Yeah. And that's going to, I'm sure they're watching you on shows, watching movies, listening to your new music and they're like, you know, that was Jacob that you know what I'm saying. And having those moments, I always felt like that means something. Yeah. I always felt like that means something more than, oh yeah. Here goes a DM of my new record. My new record. That's available. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. I mean, I've been in somebody pulling up on you and really like singing or you know, performing for you and doing that whole thing. And the crazy part, man, is what you come from. Like your lineage and the music business. You know. The Wildest part is that tank and eye. Wild. Work with your father and your uncles. But when you told me that, I was just, I did not know that. When you told me. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. And you know, my uncles be like, man, they know what? I'm like, oh. They be saying it. They be saying it. They be saying it. They be saying it. You know what I'm saying. So it's dope. Because I remember just to take it back again. Like in Milwaukee, I remember these limos pulling up in the hood. And I'm like, what are they going? They put their uniforms on their jackets on their jersey having new jackets and they take off. And all the hood it be just right there watching them. And I would see music videos. I would see album covers. I would ride with them in the limo sometimes. And I would see fans and I was like, what's this? What's this? How do you at this point? I'm like six at this point. So they coming out to LA to work with you. I'm in Milwaukee, hibernating, getting ready. Like I'm like, I'm not like I'm in the living room. Like my grandfather like, what you doing? I put all the dancing stuff. And then he tell me to this day, he like, man, you all that dancing and singing and acting you've been doing. Since she was a baby turned into a whole career. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And just to be inspired just by my family, because we grew up in a house where it was three generations. It was my grandfather, all my dad and uncles, all my cousins. That's the Milwaukee house. You know what I'm saying? It's so crazy you explaining that to me. Straight up. Those are the conversations that he has with me about him growing up in Milwaukee. So we were, it was always lit in the house. Almost. Ain't never not it. Cause I'm, I grew up in Big Mama house. Yeah. So Big Mama raised everybody. Yep. Everybody. So everybody showed me at some point during the week. Yep. And especially on Sunday. Yeah. To Big Mama house. That's how I be, bro. That's how I be. But so is Jersey average? Is that a street in Milwaukee? Well, you know, what they called Jersey? My dad and my uncles are originally from Indianapolis. I did know that because my brothers had our time in Indianapolis. I actually had that conversation with my father. They said, okay, okay. And then they moved to Milwaukee at a young age and then, you know, him and my mom met and like, hit it off and then it was like, Jake, you know, Jake arrived. You know, I'm saying I was a junior. My dad is a senior. I'm a junior. And yeah, man, it's just, ever since then we just been, we've just been growing and growing and growing and the music was just like a way out. You know, a music was a way out for me to express myself and come into Atlanta was just like a big blessing because, man, your environment is everything. Your environment is everything. I went high, shaped you like always say like, if I were to have my teenage years in Milwaukee, I definitely think I would have succeeded, but it just would have been different. Way different. It just been different. In person, my mentality would have been different, you know what I mean? And just my character would have been different, I think. And, you know, just coming out to the A-man, it was just a real blessing. So shout out to Cersei, man, he was really investing and just making sure shout out to corner boys. Come on out, don't do that. Don't say that. Shout out to corner boys. Shout out to my guys. You know what I'm saying? Shout out to Rico, Rico Love, just like really, you know, coming in and really just, you know, building records for me. And seeing me and believing me because, you know, we was, not that I looked back, man, there was a lot of adults just around me like spending the last to make sure I was good, you know, making sure I was straight and making sure I was, I had records and I was, I was going to get this record deal, you know what I'm saying? And that's what we did that man. And like I'm all written by TC, shout out to TC, nothing on me, written by Eric Belinger. Shout out to Eric B, you come first, Chris Jackson and then, you know, and then Harbord Kurt around the world, John T. Austin, you know what I'm saying? I'm using with the Yaris. Teddy Riley, like I'm all remixed. Your process is not normal. And do you possibly attribute some of that to pops being in it and and having kind of paved the way for you to be able to like, because I think, I think struggling is a thing, right? It is a thing where it's next step on the floor, I was homeless, sitting in the truck. That is a thing, right? But that's not the only way. That doesn't mean that you aren't going to get what you need to get in terms of whatever your process is. And you had a very cool process where when you got into it, I mean, you used to say in John T. Austin and Teddy Riley and Eric, but you're like, you're saying guys off the top who are, who are those guys at the time they don't fire. And you're walking in there getting music from these 14 years old. Did it hit you? I don't think like at that time, I was just, I felt like I hadn't made it. You know what I mean? I was kind of, I still had the mentality like, we still got to get out of this. We still got to, we still got to, I ain't going platinum yet. I ain't so don't ring it. I ain't so without a ring as yet. You know, like yeah, I'm not where I was, but we can't, we can't stop here. So I think now that I look back, I see more of the blessings in it now because I don't think I was present enough as a teenager. It was just like, you never are. That's at that age, right? You weren't present enough. You just working. And like you said, you're trying to get to certain goals. And until you get there. And then ultimately when you get there for whatever those goals are for yourself, you're usually pushing toward whatever the next one is as artists. And I think that's important that you mention that of being present, right? Because I, even at, what they say, my big age now, like I try to have my moments where I'm present. I try to be like, then that was actually pretty cool. Yeah, man. It's important. And I think that's what kind of year has been for me. Just the longest break we've had from filming each season. We usually film right after a season airs with the shot, but we had a whole year off. And I've just been able to just like look at old, old YouTube videos and you know, dropping my jail album this year and just kind of like, dang, like, I didn't did a lot. He's able to walk through the mall and fill it. Yeah. That was his whole goal in life. But walking the mall. I ain't going to lie. I don't touch that model. Why? I used to walk through the mall. I was in the mall yesterday. No, no, no, no. And this is actually the first time this has happened to me, right? Where, you know, we always talk about the airport being like the, the gauge of if you, if some say, airport is cracking. If the TSA, if the TSA says something, you crazy because they see everybody. They see everybody. So if they say something to you, you're like, ah. My shit work. What's your name? No, yesterday, bro, I'm in the mall and a young lady literally drops to her knees. Yeah. And starts doing this like, bowing. Wow. I don't know how to receive that because I'm like, I'm just going to spill your beverages. Right. And I had to come in to America moment. I'm starting looking at other people. I'm like, I'm like, it's okay. It's, it's, it's all right. It's just like, you guys are such an inspiration. She's like, I watch every single show. Wow. I'm so inspired by what you guys are doing. And I'm like, damn, this shit is really important. Yep. We never really know like what we're doing until we see the reaction for real. Bro, it tripped me out. So shout out to that young lady. Yeah. I asked her what her name was, but she couldn't even really like. Get the night, bro. Yeah. It's really nice to meet you. And I'm like, yo, this is wild. Yeah. Yeah. No, bro. It's like we, it's, it's, it's just how we are. Like we, we so locked in, we just feel like it's a normal thing, but it's normal to us. It's not normal. It's not normal. It's not normal. It's a, it's a huge blessing. Yeah. Absolutely. To be able to sit down like this. And now I'm tapped in. I've watched a lot of episodes. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, to be able to sit down, I'm like, I'm like, yeah, I'm coming today. I'm like, I'm flying from the A. Yeah. And then I'm like, you know, I'm saying, I'm in and out. You know, so it's like, I'm like, yeah, I'm pulling up. So this is, this is huge, bro. Yeah. This is huge. And I think y'all are for having me for my own. Of course, bro. So much of your question. This is our B-B-B. Let me ask you a tough question. Okay. How do you feel like music in terms of what you envisioned it to be, what you wanted to be? How do you feel that worked out for you? I don't feel like I even arrived musically. I agree. I don't feel like I arrived. No, I think based on the number that you answer it. Yeah. Based on what I know that you are capable of. Yeah. And based on what I see that's out here, and I don't, I'm not mad at nobody for getting off the shelf, getting in the game and having a good run and being successful. I appreciate that whole heartily. But seeing you and knowing what you're made of. Yeah. I think he hasn't even scratched the surface. Nope. Not even scratched the surface. Yeah. Yeah. I think after I want to say, heartbreak heard around the world was the last record I had released to a RCA. I was like 17. And yeah, just coming out of that record deal. It was like, I was still doing a lot of film. My first film, filming music really kind of happened same time. You know, like I was doing black and activity, but I was still on tour. I was still, I did maize runner, but I was still on tour. You know what I mean? So I was like, I was still doing both, but I think at that point, financially, I was like, man, musically, it just, I don't know if I'm like, it ain't, it wouldn't have, maybe I was impatient, you know, as a team too. It's that money just. It was just, it was less overhead. It's the best. Right. You know, it was like, it's less conflict, conflict. You ain't chasing a promoter for the back. Yeah. Showing a best shot. That's drama. That's drama, man. So it's like, I was like, I just started leaning on acting and I was just like, man, if I wanted to do music, I'm just, I still got the internet, you know, so I'm still just throw it out and invest it in if I can. But, you know, I'm not against going to another major situation or whatever situation that's best for me to be who I need to be musically. You know what I mean? Do you feel like when you were on a major label, you were able to be you? I don't, I, I think you never, you never are. I don't think. I think the everybody is trying to figure out, okay, how can we get this artist to blow up? Right. Period. You know what I mean? And I really, looking back, man, I really appreciate like the, the building for just prioritizing me and just like one of the, we never put out of album. They were always like, we got to get a top 10 single. We got to get a number one before we even think about album. You know what I mean? So I never really dropped the project until I went independent. But I do realize now is that we were coming out of real hard record sales and streaming was slowly coming in. That face. You know what I'm saying? I was like, I was a my space kid, you know what I'm saying? And then it's YouTube and then Twitter came in and then streaming just came over and just really, it was hard for radio to even want to play a kid at that time. You know, but touring was like the only thing that I was able to prove myself and shout out to Michael Maude and for the screen tour, man, like I really don't think there's in a space for artists like that anymore. You know what I'm saying? Like it's like screen tour was just a blessing for me. It was a way for me to build my fan base. Like from YouTube to like, oh, we can see what he do on stage. They like, oh, like he ain't got the hit record yet, but it made a great. He's a hit artist. You know what I'm saying? Put the kids like kids really don't care about hit records. Like now I'm, how do you have that conversation with your kids? Yeah. What's your name? The what is a hit record? You know what? You got to have that. I don't even, I don't even think my daughter, I'm just explaining to you. I don't even think they, you know, process it the way we process it. Not at all. It's not a chart thing. Not at all. For them. Yeah. It's, it's what they like and what they share. Yep. Man, doose, argue me down about some records. Dad, that's a hit. I said, doose. It's the sound. Right? It's the hit, right? What I understood what he was saying because for us back in the day, what he, what we, what we called is kind of a regional record, right? Especially me being from the Bay Area. We had so many regional hits that you can't tell me nothing about you, you experienced it. You know, I thought that's true. Yes, sir. Right. And I think now with the kids, their region is their circles. Yes. Yep. Yep. I think this record is cracking. That's it. It's a hit. It's a hit. Yep. And I had to understand that. Like, oh, I think that's what changed about the, with the internet and streaming like now, I'm a discovering artist that's selling out shows. Yes. Oh, never. Never listen, never listen to the album. Never been to a show, but fans is lined up. I'm lined up. You know what I mean? I know. So I think that is a, that's, that's what I do like about to do. The new age, like, it ain't so, you could be popping over there and providing for your family and doing your thing. And we ain't never got a go to the show. Right. Is there anything you don't like? Don't like, nah, I really, maybe I'm not tapped in enough, but I ain't really like, not, not, I'm saying like an artist. I'm saying, what's in the industry? Just about the industry. Within the industry and where we are now in music, right? Because even off camera, we were having conversations about AI and different, you know, just different things about that. Like, is there anything for you that you're like, I don't fuck with that. I think I'm definitely starting to see like, what's pay for? Okay. It was. Okay. You know, like, you could be talented. You could be extremely talented. You could have a hit record. You feel like you could have a hit record. But if you ain't got the funds to really take it to the top, it's just going to be living online. As they say, it's take money to make money. It's take money to make money. So it's just, I think that's the only thing as I get closer to the industry. I'm like, you really got to invest in my own out. You know what I'm saying? I'm like, yeah, budget closed. Once you get to that space, where is out of your pocket? Yeah. Like budget closed conversations are different. Yeah. I remember having a conversation with E-40 who's been independent since independent began. Yeah. And he's like, how is that? We don't want one single in one video. And we selling the whole project off that. Yep. I ain't shooting a whole bunch of videos. Yeah. Because it's coming out of his pocket. Yep. Right on line. It's different. It's different. You feel it different. But when we were in the lab, we like, you know, I need five videos, six videos, six videos. I need 10 dances. I need 10 dances. We need to wear 20 dances. I need pyro blow the building up. No, I broke it up. Can I pop up from underneath the stage? Bro, look at me in front of the car. You know, he blew up the building. Yeah. I'm good. What is it slowly? Yeah. I was blowing up the building. To a ballet. Oh, I did see that. I had the matrix trucks on a wirework. Oh, you going crazy. I was blowing the bag. I think I was about four million in debt. What project? Even trust. You like, I am ledger. It was fire breathing over me. I had a baby on my high. What was that, what was that, buddy? My first video was like 500, 500K, and then slowly was 700K. That's crazy now, bro. What do you think about that? Mind you, I shot maybe I deserved a video twice. That's right. So that went out to maybe six or so. So freaky was like 500. Maybe I deserved was like about six or something. Slowly was about seven. Whoa. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. And they got me on the road doing promo shows for like everybody. And I did like 50, 60 free promo shows. Somebody was getting that money. But that's how I'd be feeling to like somebody getting paid. Somebody getting paid. But that's what it was. Like we had, they had unlimited funds to break an artist. Yeah. It's over now. I mean, it ain't really. I don't think it's over now. You just got to do it yourself and then pull up. Who's got to be strategic about what that money goes? It's a conversation that you and I had. I mean, when you came to see me. Yeah. And it was random. And it was like, you know, you're like, you're like, you're like, you're like, you're like, shit, come on. And then the conversation that we had that night about my belief personally of who and what you are in this industry and what you mean to it. And listen, I'm from the Bay Area where independence is king. We've been, you know, we live on the island up there. And we've been pushing independent music for a long time. I personally, and I've said this and maybe some people don't agree with me. I don't believe that you can have independent superstars. Nope. You can't. Because it costs so much money to make a superstar. Yeah. And in my opinion, you're a superstar. And I told you that that night, I really, I really honestly believe that. And anybody that knows me knows that I don't tell people that I think that because I don't think that we have a lot of them. Yeah. You know what I mean with it? What you cover. Yeah. You can bring to entertainment, not just music, right? And what you're doing with your acting side. You know, you're there. You know what I'm saying? Now the next step is you doing some, you know, what a blockbuster, most in picture. Yep. Right? And then you've run that gamut. But to me, being an independent artist is a hobby. Yeah. In my opinion, it is. No, I feel like for someone like yourself. You definitely get siloed. So like, if I'm going to sit in a master's check, come in. You know what I'm saying? Like while I'm on set, like, oh, it's my little music check. All right. You know what I mean? My little music. You know what I mean? Because I mean, that's what you really don't compare. I mean, it doesn't compare. It doesn't really, it don't compare because it's like, we know, we know the DSPs can pay a little more. Oh, they can pay a little more. Yeah. I mean, you know what I mean? I ain't trying to. No, they have. I'm trying to burn no bridges. No, no, no, listen. Okay. They're making a lot of money. They're making a lot of money. A lot of money. The, the owners and labels are making a lot of money. Yeah. Part of it up and streaming. And the distribution is a, it's. It's a lot of money. Yeah. It's a lot of money. So, you know, we just keep having these conversations. Yeah. And I think that's probably the only thing I do like about independence, even though I do agree, like what you said, because I feel like any arena artist, they would imagine. You got to be with them. Like you got to know. You got to be tied in with that. And I think the only thing I like about independence is that you get something coming in monthly. Right. And like, I feel like if we can get to that in a space with music where I don't have to travel to nine countries to make some money. You know what I'm saying? Like, I think that's, I think that's powerful. You know what I mean? If I'm on set, folk, folk months out the year. And I got these checks coming in once a month from my master's. I'm like, okay, I could put that in my boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, I ain't got to touch that. I can pilot, pilot, pilot, pilot, pilot. While I'm on set doing this, doing this, doing this, right? But it's like, it's not really enough to, if I didn't have film, I couldn't, I couldn't live off that, you know. Right. That wouldn't, wouldn't fund my lifestyle. But I think timing is a thing too, right? Yeah. Because I don't think now that you have so much in, we're going to get into the acting. We can't gloss over that by any means. Thank you, man. But you have that strong foundation and, you know, honestly, financial backing as an actor. I feel like a season of you doing the music, doing the touring. Yeah. It's happening. And the right way is going to now be beneficial because now you bring, however many millions of people are already watching you to these venues. Right. You bring them now. Yeah. And so that guarantee, it just, it just smells different. It starts to make sense. It's definitely like, it's definitely like, it's definitely like, yeah, let's see what everybody talking about. Anybody got some deals on the dance. I just believe that you are a part of that conversation. Thank you, bro. That him and I have a lot of, okay, who can really do all the things? Who can sing for real? No, y'all can perform for real. Yeah. Who can, you know what I'm saying? Like who can dance or who can play or who can, like even us watching right now watching the Leon Thomas. Yeah. Shout out to Leon. We did enjoy it together, man. I'm sure like seeing that happen, seeing that, seeing that become a reality for him has been, even though I'm not even attached to it, just a proud moment of me feeling like, okay, I'll be right about some shit. Because to see a kid like that are grown up, but a kid in this shit where it's like you finally getting your shot. To see that happen and for him to really start to receive the fruits of his labor from the music side now. Yeah. And he comes from the film and television side. He is so talented. Extremely. It has to happen that way, right? And people can say what they want, but him also being signed to a major record label has helped. It's helped. Those are real steroids. Yep. You know what I'm saying? So when we see our little brother, we like, that's all he needs. Yeah. Obviously you got, you know, put the music with it. Now yeah, that's fine. But you can put great music on an independent level and it starts to hit its head. You put it on a major level, major label level and it starts to break that glass ceiling. I still can't outstream heartbreakers around the world. The resources are just unlimited. Yeah. And the relationships. The relationships have been curated for the last 50, 60 years. Yep. So there's a difference in the independent radio person you have working in the Juliet Jones. Talk about it. It is. Talk about it. Or the Kevin holidays on the Browns Stewart. You know what I mean? And you start talking about the people that are in labels that have been at labels for years. You know what I mean? The step Johnson's back. Back in the States. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. That's different. Yeah. It really is. And they have different relationships with program directors. Now who are people at DSPs? Or presidents. Or presidents. Yeah. Or you start talking about guys like Larry Jackson, who helps start Apple Music and it's like, oh yeah, we're going to run it through this program. Yeah. Yeah. And everybody looks at that as like this whole, you know, she we ain't connected to none of us. We can speak freely. This whole payola thing. Sometimes it's a relationship thing. Yeah. Absolutely. More than that than anything. And him calling is a different thing than such and such calling from St. Louis that they don't know. And this person from St. Louis could have all the greatest ideas. But don't have the relationship and they spent the time with these people that can help push you through. No, yeah. And I agree with you saying because I've been going to concerts probably to pass since we stopped filming season seven. Like I want to say, I went to Brazil. Oh, yeah, you told me you put up on CB. Yeah, I was like, I got to see this. And I just remember being like, it's crazy. You can't do this by yourself. No. Can't do this by yourself. You know what I'm saying? It's just the reality. Yeah. And some people don't like to live in reality. Yeah. I know we live in the future guys. I know. Yeah. I know it. But there is a thing called reality where there are certain checks and balances. Yeah. And you have to decide who you want to be in at what level. Yeah. Yeah. I want to be at that level. Some people got to eat too. Yeah. I love it. What they say in the Godfather. That's right. God let us wear our big. He got it. Oh, listen, you hold on to judges. Hey, man, I'm a politician to your head. I'm going to have some insight. I watch every Godfather. You better believe it. At least once or twice a year. Yes, sir. Every single one. Yeah. Because that is the key to business. Yeah. Yes, it's gangster shit and all of yeah, all that everybody love to talk about. Watch the business up. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The business of the Godfather will tell you everything you need to know about the world. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like, okay, that relates to. Yeah. I'll lean over. Tell me to watch Godfather too. Bro, oh, please. Yeah. Every time you come, I'll just stop. Yeah. Stop. I'm just stopping. I'm just stopping. No, I definitely, I'm definitely, you know, we definitely talk. We know we all talk. We don't get there. We don't get there. And I do agree. I feel like time and right now is definitely in 2026. I definitely want to. I definitely want to partner. You know what I'm saying? Bro, my kids don't know who everybody is. Yeah. They know who you are. I told you flat out and you made my son today. Wow. He binge watches. Yeah. And that's what I've been seeing at these shows. Like, even just the, this indie shows I did this summer. And just some of the club runs like, there's a young and old showing up. I know you got him. I'm like, TV and show these girls. Yeah, like, you know, I didn't hit the road in a while. It's different. And you know, sometimes when you just on set and you're cubicle in your trailer, you running your lines and your episodes are airing and you're not really out. So you lost it. Yeah, you just, and when I showed up to these clubs and I showed up to these venues, I kind of like, I was like, I forgot. I forgot. Yeah, nice. I am him. I am. I forgot. Yeah, it's straight up. Yeah. It's really like that. Oh, like, okay. And then you got, you got the OG Jacob lot of more fans. You got the shy fans who just never knew I did music. And that's not an age. Yeah. It's not a, like, they can do to all the analytics they want. Yeah. It's whoever understands English at this point, latch on to a show. Like, let's, let's let's let's discovery, like discovery starts at, at this point, my son is 10. Yeah. He understands all of it. Yeah. Yeah. So that's where it starts for you. You're in it. Yeah. A lot of the world. Bro, like, you Jacob does. Yeah. But a lot of the world, oh, Emmett. Yeah. I'm sure people are calling you Emmett. I'm all that. Just on the street. On the street. Can you see? Can you see? Like, there you go. There go Emmett. There go Emmett. I'm in here. I'm in here. I'm in here. I'm in here. Let's get into the show. Let's get into that, no? Let's get into that. Let's get into that. Let's get into that. Let's get into that. Let's get into that. Okay, I'm going to start LA. I came out to LA. I did this movie called Maze Runner. Shout out to Mark. We lost past Maze Runner. We was number five on Netflix. I watched Maze Runner at least 72 times. Thank you, Saga. For that residual video. Yeah, yeah, let's pick it up. Go ahead. I met my brother Dexter Darden. And I was like, he was the first person to walk up on me in the Maze Runner set. And he was like, man, what's up bro? You know, like, you doing this movie? What is that? Yeah, I'm coming to movie. And I had a small role and it was just like a really dope community. But Dexter had an apartment out here in LA. And he was like, bro, if you want to come out to LA and get some auditions in, like, and I got a room, you just go hat for me on the ring. Oh, wow. And I was like, bet. You know, this is like, I got a little roommate, good positive energy, meeting good people. You know what I mean? And I was just driving Uber's like, back in 4th of Santa Monica, the Warner Brothers studio, like doing all these auditions, you know. And then I wanted to say, that year I didn't get much and nothing. I think the only film I did was this film called Slight. And it was like, Slight, we shot it in like 2 and a half weeks. So the rest of the year just felt dry. You know what I mean? So I just like, man, like, I think I keep saying I'm a star. But they're not picking me for the movies. I don't understand this. So I'm building relationships. And what's your adult? What I didn't realize at the time. But the next year, Collateral Beauty. Detroit. I did an indie with William H. Macy. Then the next year, I go back out to LA again. Like, I'm gonna go audition again. You know what I mean? I ain't even staying that late at long. I'm booked the shot. And season one, we go out to Chicago. We film this pilot. And I'm just like, man, I'm like, God, like, this is just gonna be one and done. Like, this is gonna be like a, it's gonna be a season thing. It's gonna be back to back to back. And I want to say by the time I booked that, I was like, Dex. I'm moving to Chicago, bro. Like, we picked up, we picked up for the whole season. We got a season one. Like, they rock with it. And he's like, bad man, that's fire. So I'm in Chicago, like, this praying, like, man, this season one need to hit. You know what I mean? Season one just went crazy. Did you feel it as you were filming? Like, this feels like something? No, you just said it. I was like, man, at that point, I was just so used to doing one film, going to the next one film, going to the next one. So I wasn't really promising myself too much. You know, because sometimes you can just disappoint yourself. You know what I mean? So I was always ready to pivot. And then it just went crazy that year. It went crazy that year. And then I want to say we start hitting essence fest. And we start hitting the ground. I'm like, oh, I want to say the first person that recognized me at a high level was Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant was like, bro, you're looking for a shot, right? I was like, what? I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was good. You know what I mean? And shot took a lot of looney. He was from Milwaukee playing for a lot of looney from Milwaukee. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I know that. Shot out the war, managed him as well. And so I was there. I was filming a movie in Cleveland at the time like a, like a rom-com. And the only thing I was cool to do was just go to the games. Like the subrimes last time in Cleveland. Yeah. Like if you're not taking the candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy candy Like I've, thank God I got this experience before with black nativity being like, you know, number one on the car sheet. Like it didn't, I didn't feel too much pressure and it's an ensemble as well. So I'm already kind of like, it ain't just me on this show. Like everybody working, you know what I mean? And everybody's great and I'mma just set the tone on just, just talk about, just quickly. Talk about being a, a number one being the anchor, being the leader and your process of going about galvanizing the troops, you know what I mean? And the camaraderie and all these things. They're like, y'all rock with each other. Yeah, we do. Like it's, it's not just, we move around together. It's like y'all are, y'all are together. Yeah, y'all are together. Yeah, y'all are together. Yeah, I love that. Yeah. Just talk about that process and putting that together. You know, I just think it probably goes back to how we grew up, you know what I mean? We grew up just family and just making sure everybody was good and just having that big heart. So for me, like wanting this, wanting this to succeed and just been in the game long enough to kinda, I didn't really start, I guess I started finding my voice and I'm like, oh, I've been in the game a while. Like I guess these are some young guys coming up on this show. And I wanna be able to show them more than I could tell them, you know what I mean? And I think it was just about like, all right, I need to be more on time. I need to arrive early to set. I need to be off book most of the time. You know what I mean? I need to be bringing good energy to the workplace. You know what I mean? Making people just feel welcome and comfortable. We got guests coming in saying hello, like, and just watching that and that's what I learned from Will Smith. I learned that when I went out. She started out there. Just like, I know Will probably, like man, he mentioned me in every interview, but. I'm like, but. Get your own name and you do what you supposed to do. And then you just say your name for the most part and instead of mine. Yeah, you know? But I learned so much from him. I think it was just that leadership of just like, what it means to come to work as an actor. And that's why I just wanted to show on set. You know what I mean? Leaning with send him scripture, our call, cast members, as rehearsed these lines, it's face time, we're quick. Let's link up at the, let's have dinner. Yeah. Let's run these lines. Let's not forget where we at. On some team. You know what I mean? Because even when they say cut, when we go out to dinner, we still that work. Yeah. You know what I mean? We not, we not on set, but we in Chicago, we're in their dime. You know what I'm saying? They pan for these trailers. They pan for these drivers to come pick us up or early in the day. You're still representing. You're still representing. You are an employee of the paramount, the showtime. You know what I'm saying? So you gotta know that. You gotta know that when you move in, and you know when you're young and you get money, and it's like, and you end you in your city? You know, most of my cast is from Chicago. So you end your city? Pop it? And it's like, I'm like, you could go there. We shouldn't go there. Tony Dara. And we shouldn't go to this party tonight. We should stay here. We should go to this little restaurant, like low, speak easy, duck off. Just us. Keep it low. There you go. You know what I'm saying? Because we gotta start moving different. Because when things happen, they're gonna say our names. Mm-hmm. They're gonna say Jacob Lattimore's name. I'm sure. You know, when things go left. And I think it was just important for me to recognize that. Cause it was, it's just a lot of times, man. I just found myself like, I ain't supposed to be in this environment right now. You know what I'm saying? Like my career is just different. My brand is different at this point. You know, and they don't, it ain't no shade or anything like that. It was just like, man, I gotta get home, bro. You have to understand the elements. Yeah. And everybody doesn't. Yeah. And that's unfortunate. But the cool thing about what you just said though is that you've been able to identify it, but then also identify it for your team. Yeah. More than just yourself. Cause you know, there are people who just be like, yeah, I'm out. Yep. Other than being like, you know what guys, we're out. Yep. Cause Jail leaves and not say nothing. Well, Jail just a disafraid. You being around. Embracing. Hey, but it comes to that point though. Like, and you ain't hear me the first time. I'm going because it's probably a place we're not supposed to be. Yeah. But I'm having such a great time. Hey, and you get this all like, I'm like, Jail, another thousand for once. Where's that? Where'd Jail go? Yeah. Straight up. Magic. Peach is you up in there. She's probably told me he doesn't want to leave. Now that's how I be too. I'm just saying to him, oh man, like the likes to come on. No, I don't like the likes to come on. I'm like, he's still doing that. No, I'm looking like who about to get into a scrap, you know, and he's doing it. They all love me, man. They love me. Take us never met a stranger. That's how I be though. You like man, like let's. You're right. You're 100%. They love the clothes. Very minute. Because you understand, it means something to you. Yeah. Yeah. All of this work, all these blood sweat and tears, the opportunity, the people who believe in you, the people who depend on you, all of that means something to you and your conscious of it. And at 29, I'm going to take it back some years. I'm going to say maybe 25, 24. I wasn't thinking like that. Did that age. Absolutely not. It was, it was Patron. Man. Where are they, where are they selling Patron? Because wherever they sell the Patron. That's crazy. That's where I want to be. That's where I'll be. That's where I'll be. I'll be there. 24, Long Island Ice TV. Man. Yeah, bring me back. Wow. Hey, to go back, we were promoting the Black Nativity Fund. We was going to different churches. And some of the churches, I was like, these churches, it's a little different. But it was one pastor in particular. I wish I remember his name because I really wasn't present. Like that at the time. I was really like, right, I was ready to go. But my dad was with me and his pastor was just telling me, he was like, you're going to have to protect your temple on your journey. You're going to have to protect your, you ain't going to be able to do it everybody else do. Yum. And I didn't really understand what he was saying. I was like, why? I want to do it everybody. You know what I mean? And then as I go on my journey, I think that's coming, I fully understand that now more than anything. You know what I mean? Like, my brand is fragile, my life is fragile. Like everything around me got to be, you can't ride with me. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's real. Everybody got to be on the same. Everybody got to be on the same wavelength. Or else it's just, I'm on mute. I'm on mute to you. And it ain't me acting funny. It's me just being serious about the gift that's been placed. Good story. You know what I mean? Yeah. Because we spoke about that earlier too. Right? You know, before you got here, we were talking about how the blessing, it isn't bestowed on everyone. Not as artists, right? Everybody has their different blessings. Who are we talking about as artists in the arts? Music, film, television, sports, entertainment. And how there are so many of us that have so much talent and so many gifts, but can't make a living wage. There it is. Being that. Man, it's tough. Yeah. It's not easy. Yeah. And we make it look easy. Man, we try to. Yeah. We try to, right? And, you know, we also spoke about the mental health of that. Yeah. Of, you know, it doesn't always happen for you. Yeah. And sometimes you have to pivot. Sometimes you have to do other things. Sometimes, you know what I mean? We kind of make light of it at times where we're just like, you can't, you can't sail the same demo over and over and over. Right? That's our way of putting it in a place. But I think like what you're saying, those decisions that you've made ultimately sacrifices even. Yeah. Of saying, like, listen, if you own that, you can't ride. You're with me. That's crazy. Okay. That age. And that can mean so many different things. So many different things. Yeah. Well, so many different things when that car gets pulled up. Hello. Hey. That's happening. Yeah. I know. That's happening. Yeah. You know what I mean? Where it was. It was a time. Officer looked at me. He said, I know who you is. And he looked at me like, you ain't even supposed to be in the car with this. And he gave me a pass, man. It was like, I'm like, man, I was like, and it wasn't mine. It was just, I'm like, come on, man. You were in the vicinity. And I'm like, bro, you can't, come on, man. Like, what's up? I can't ride like that, but I can only just take accountability for me. It's you. It's me. It's you. It's like, you should have got your own car. You don't ride with nobody. You know who these people are. I can't ride with them. And sometimes it could be family, too. Man, sometimes you want to just be family. You just want to be the friend. You just want to be the friend. You just want to know how nice, cool, because you don't want to put yourself above anything or anybody. But it's like you said, it's not about being above. It's just about being responsible. Because think about that same family who may need you at some point. Yep. Right? And they're not responsible enough to identify how to protect you. So you have to protect you in order to protect them. Exactly. Yeah. Yep. So, I mean, I just, I'm just still stuck on your 29. On his eighth season. On his eighth season. Well, I'm the shy one more time. One more time. I'm just like, that's race. I also want to know though. I mean, because listen, I don't know if you've gotten a script or not. Or if you, you know, you don't have to tell us. What's going on? What you got? Hey, man, they're going to kill you. How does this thing, man? Like, I'm going to I read that script because they shot you ass. They shot you ass. I was a little nervous with my job. I was like, Lena, we good. We good. Right? I'm cool. No, my, it's funny. It's not funny. But my son is, he was like, Dad, they shot him in. They shot him in. Yo, when I seen my, that, that gave him a obituary online on Facebook with wings. Man, I was like, the hood, the hood, the hood. The hood. I'm going to put it in the shirt. I'm going to see you all, man. I'm going to put it in the shirt. No, when I seen that this year, I'm like, oh, man, this character. This one, I think I was like, oh, this character means so much to everybody. You know what I'm saying? And I was like, I think it's just a reminder again for me. It's like, man, what you're doing ain't like, you know, like every hood has an image. Yeah. Yeah. You had too many kids, too early. Too early. But he really a good dude. Good dude, making it work. But he going to have to make bad decisions. That's just to survive. Yeah, he's going to lose it. He's going to crash out. Yeah. You didn't tell me, man. They're going to smoke you, man. I'm still shouting. I'm trying to get seen. It's funny, man. It's inside, man. I don't want to know. Don't tell me. It's the shot. You never know. Don't tell me. I don't tell me nothing. I don't tell me nothing. No, man. The shot been a blessing, bro. I definitely, I can't wait to do his last season, man. I think we're going to close the chapter right. Yeah. I think it's nice to be able to know when we're closing. So, you know, I'm sure Lena and they're just going crazy with the writing and closing it the right way and closing it in a way where the fans have had closed your two. Because they've been rocking with us for a while. Yeah. And then the episodes is that. What will be seasons? How many episodes are there? I forget total. I think we may have reached maybe 80 after this one. I don't know if that number is correct exactly. But I know for season six, we had 16 episodes. And then the rest has been like 10. And then season seven was 12 episodes. And then this last would be a incredible. I believe 10. 10 episodes. So. Thank you, man. Thank you. It's watching your journey has been incredible, bro. And you just, as they say, you love to see the good guys win. Thank you, bro. And you wanted a good guys, bro. Like yourself, Trevor Jackson. Yes, my daughter. Yeah, I'm tired. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah. Like, if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys if you guys this week and Ron Flynn and Trevor Jackson and Kate Camp and we were all like this. I got to find the picture because I want to post it. We were all at one table and we were just all just like, man, we just, we just giving each other our flowers. You know what I'm saying? Like, we, we proud of everybody. You know what I mean? And we seeing everybody like, I turn on my TV. I might see one of my guys like like getting it. You know, you know, it's hard. It's hard, bro. And it's just the beginning. Yeah. That's the crazy part. It's just like you think you think, I think you're right. You think you know right now. It's 29. No. Imagine that there are still more levels. Imagine that. Yeah. How crazy that is. No, I feel good, bro. I'm like, I'm excited for that. I'm excited for that. I'm excited for that, bro. I'm here for all of it. In your mind, in your mind, what is, let's just pick one. What is the one thing you want to accomplish? Just one thing. If you could just, it's as I'm sure it's an array of things. But the one thing you want to do, just like this, just like in a rival moment for you. In my career, I don't care where to be acting. I don't care if it's singing. I don't care where it is. I don't care if it's owning a bit. Whatever it is, it's one that I've always wanted to do this one thing. Of all the things I want to do, pick one. Oh, man, that's tough. That's tough. I mean, as a, it's like, you see that it's got to be either selling out an arena tour. It's got to be a JL arena tour. I got to get, I don't know. I'm gonna get it, you know what I mean? And then it's got, I got to do, I got to have a number one movie at box office. I got to get people out of the house to come see me in theaters. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. However that goes, even if it's an, if a Netflix number one to be crazy too, you know, I mean, a Netflix number one is, you want to get to people outside. But I want to get people outside the house because I think I love, I love, yeah, I love it. I'm a AMC member. Yeah. No, no. I really go to the movies. I go by myself. Gotcha. I'm sitting there by popcorn and raising nets and get to it. Yeah. Come on, man, don't just say popcorn and raising nets. Come on. You're a glizzy guy, man. You're a glizzy guy. Tell it to, tell it to, tell it to, tell it to, bro, don't lie to the people, bro. I'm, I don't omit. Okay? Come on, man. Hey, you know what? We got you. Got him there. Yeah. I went to the movie theater. It was your, Lulu went to the movie theater. And I'm, you know, and then, and then was rolling. It was, it was, it was, it was glistening. I said, man, you got any, any of those hot dogs ready? Lulu walked away. Lulu walked away from me. So the lady, I guess they roll it. I guess they roll it. And they're hot. And they roll. And they roll. And they roll. They roll. And they roll. And, and I guess she was, she was, she was, I think she was carrying being and she was like, she's like, she's like, oh, let, let me check for you. She looked, she's like, she's like, I don't think the glizzies are ready. Let me check. I said, oh, shut up. I said, you can't do that. What's she doing in New York? She said, no, I'm not, I'm not trying to be anyway. You just, you're ordering a glizzy and I want to make sure you have what you're doing. I said, you can't, you can't do that to me. You're going to cut it out. So when he's raising that in five quarters, there. Listen, man, listen, movie glizzies, game glizzies. This is powerful. Of course, get out of there. All right. Let's go somewhere. Box office. Box office. You want box office number one. And an arena tour. I listen, I share your dream. Yeah. To like matching like brothers, I share your dream. I share it.
