Dawn has come to Neo-Ed effects. Not that anyone in the undercity can see the sunrise. As you see the result of the brutal battle, you realize that all of your lives are far more complicated than they were several hours earlier. Looking around you, you are in the quiet of the Starlight Lounge, blood soaking into the floor and pooling around your feet. A small girl barely alive amidst the rubble. Your lives have changed no matter which way you shake it. What was that? A little girl! And I am going to try to get up off my feet and I am not worried about how much I got blasted back by this. Now you are in processing. I am going to go run to grab her, to check on her, to make sure that if she is amidst rubble or the corpse of this Zorbrac, get her away and see which blood is any of the blood hers besides the soldiers' blood and all that. Go ahead and make a medicine check. Medicine check? Let me make a medicine check real quick. With my Quabdai, because it rolls very well for me. Well, that's how it goes. That's how it goes. Okay, totally fine. You can all be winners. A nine! With a nine, even with a nine, you are able to get a little bit of information. The situation in front of you isn't shrouded in mystery. You are easily able to see that the blood is coming from her nose, her eyes, and her ears. Though there is blood caked onto her clothes very clearly from the man that had been holding her that exploded behind her. She is covered in viscera. But you are able to see that not all of the blood is from the person that had been standing behind her, but that which is around her face is hers. And though you can't, right now she is unconscious, I would say with a nine, it's hard to tell how dire the situation is, but you can see the shallow rise and fall of her chest as she is breathing. I am going to lean in and say, she has a smile and it seems to me. I am going to go to humming. I am going to spend a first level spell slot and cure wounds. Oh, shit. You are going to hear me hum a little bit and sing a little song. I do that and I will say, Grammy, I think she needs some medicine. You got anything for this? Maybe this isn't my specialty in medicine. Soon enough, I can try. Is she okay? I mean, how is she looking? Yes, is she all right? She is alive. I don't know if she could get me in danger. I just did something I think to help her. I don't know. You begin to notice that her chest rises and falls a little more, with a little more strength. Then after a bit of time, you see her eyelashes flutter as she looks up at you. She begins to recoil for a second before her eyes very clearly adjust and she realizes that it's you. She reaches up a small hand and she touches your cheek. Oh, as soon as I see that she's conscious, I'm going to back up a little bit. I remember that she told, she said not to back up. Nervous, yeah. You're okay, little one. You helped me. We got you. The bad men that was looking for you. Where did he go? The one that had me. He's gone. You're not going to hurt you no more. Nobody's going to hurt you no more, little girl. What happened? You don't have to worry about nothing. Don't you worry about that now. You're safe and the men are gone. I'm dirty, I'm covered in gross. It stinks. The moment that I see that they're having this conversation with this girl and that I've gotten to my feet and I'm okay. I realize I'm in one piece. Silently, I get to work and I start walking around the starlight, collecting the bodies that we've now littered all over the place and essentially lining them up on the floor next to each other, but leaving the one obviously that the little girl is next to until they've kind of checked her over and pulled her away. I'm also collecting their weaponry and anything that they have and just organizing it and laying it out and just surveying what has happened because I know that they have the center control and I don't want too many cooks in the kitchen. I will be running to the bar and I will grab a bottle of seltzer and some of the clean towels and rags that we use for any task. I will immediately race back to Grico. Here, here, here. Oh, you know, my best mate Frosty, he gets headaches too and he's okay. He's a very well-to-do gentleman. Maybe he might be able to help you out with that. I love the headache. And so you know that there are a handful of these. You think of one that you know to be incredibly comfortable. I either wait for the next, for Grico to get the nuggets or I get them myself. And then she'll just quickly eat.
