Insights
- Natural deodorants may not work for everyone due to individual skin sensitivities; waiting for the adjustment period isn't always viable for all users
- High price point creates higher expectations; expensive products like the Dyson Airwrap have disproportionately high return rates when results don't match the cost
- Reframing jealousy into motivation and prayer for others' success can transform competitive feelings into genuine support within friendships
- Quality over quantity in wardrobe and home goods provides better long-term value and satisfaction than fast fashion alternatives
- Potty training success depends more on child readiness than parental pressure; positive reinforcement and patience reduce trauma-related issues

You see those plates where the girl stand and just go... What? And you just do it while you're brushing your teeth. It's vibrates and shakes your whole body. This is a sunscreen you can't mess up for your face. That's cool. I love this because I need to reapply face sunscreen, but if I... I got a map. I have to disagree on Oreos. When I eat them, the other sleeve is gone. That's the one you chose to disagree on. If it's not double stuff, get out. Oh, we brought a show and tell. Is that a pot of gold? That was such a dumb joke. We're never gonna finish this. We're never gonna finish this. Welcome back to Always Here. We're your hosts, Abby Howard and Abby Howard. It's good to be back. Oh, baby. It feels like it's been a long time. A lot has happened. A lot has happened. We both had kind of busy weeks. Yeah. As always, I feel like. Yeah. You had a very busy week. You and Matt, little jet setters, little Hollywood. Celebrity. I literally told Matt at the end of that day, I was like, okay, so we went to, I guess I'll explain. Yeah. It was so fun. We went to the I Heart Radio Music Awards. So cool. In LA and we were brought out by Fox, which was really cool. So we got to do a lot tour of where they filmed the sound of music. I thought that was filmed in Austria. Was it not? Maybe some scenes were, but a lot of the iconic scenes were in the Fox lot. And I mean, they were currently filming the new Baywatch and we got to see all the sets for, which was really cool. And we got to talk to their casting directors. It was a really cool experience because they don't actually do a lot tours at Fox. They do them at Universal Studios and some of the other major production places. Oh, I know what it's like. It was cool to just kind of see behind the scenes things. And then to go to the event was really cool, but in preparation, funny story. I already told you this on Sunday, but I got a spray tan to go to the event and I you watched two in a row. Wow. And a couple of weeks. Right. She's going now I'm gone again. But I had to take the boys. I remember telling them, OK, well, like now the boys have to go with me. And so I set them up on the chair in there. And I wanted them to be in the same room because I was like, I don't know this space. Like they can't just be in the lobby. Right. Like there was other people out there. But I was like, no, they can't be with me. And so I set them up in a chair like to the side. Like so they're like 180 degrees from me. And I had I had a show on for them and they each had their own bag of veggie straws. As soon as that machine turns on, actually, as soon as I started taking off my clothes, I was like, just bottleneck, cranes or completely turned. And they were just silent and they're eating veggie straws, watching me. It was like a full on show. And then they didn't say anything. I put my clothes back on. It's quick. Like it was like 10 minutes max that were in there. Get back in the car. They're just like kind of quiet. And then which I'm not like they see me like go to the bathroom and they see me like these things. But it just felt like a new experience. I mean, I felt vulnerable. I feel like they're like naked in his room. This is weird. You're right. What is this loud machine? Right. Why is she turning brown? And Griffin literally said to me in the car after like a prolonged silence, he goes, Hey, mom, what color is your blood? It's honestly an appropriate question. I was like, right now it's brown. I think that he was probably actually so confused. How are you changing colors? Mom, I was like, you know, this is one of those things where when they bring it up, we'll talk about it. But I think at this point, I was like, it's right. Right now it's probably brown. Yeah. He's like, OK, OK. That's me in a couple of hours after I start. It was really funny. That's so funny. I got to get all dressed up, which was fun. And it's so beautiful. Thank you. Beautiful. Did you do your own hair and makeup? Yeah, I did. I felt like my hair looked kind of. Oh, I thought you looked beautiful. Thank you. Thanks, guys. I did my own hair and makeup because I don't know. I don't know that special. But I I don't actually I didn't even do get my makeup done for my wedding. I did myself. I remember that. Yeah. I remember I came back to the room and you guys were all getting ready. And it was so sweet. I actually did my mom's makeup and my grandma's makeup and my friend's makeup my wedding day. Yeah. Well, you're good at makeup. Thank you. I doesn't take me long. I don't know how to do anything fancy. So I was like, I'll just do it really quick. I honestly think if you're you're good at makeup, I mean, you're a dancer. And I think dancers, you and Addy both you learn how to do makeup. And then you just you get used to it. And hair. It's like, yeah. So you guys have skills. Thank you. I didn't do anything super special, but it was really fun. They put us in a really nice hotel and which was great for the fact that it was like a solo trip on public rest. I go so that was good for that. Terrible. You just lay in there and just got my candle out. I guess we go to bed. We order room service and everything was so sad. Anyway, it was really sweet. Then we went made a quick trip to Utah for a really special conversation on unplanned that I have been looking forward to for such a long time. I can't wait to hear it. It was with Elizabeth Smart. So I don't know when it's coming out in relation to this episode, but it's actually going to be out before this episode. So maybe you guys go listen to it. That was a whirlwind travel experience. Get back home and you're back to reality. Bedtime bath or bath bedtime. Get up the next morning, you know, that's honestly the beauty of motherhood. You know, it like right back into. Yeah, right back into it. I kind of like it. It's like, it's great. I don't know. Like you come back, you're rested and then you're like, oh, the kids are just it's like you're jumping back in. What am I trying to say? You never skip a beat. You never skip a beat. It never stopped. Like, you know what I mean? Kids are just consistent. They are consistent. And it's so sweet. It is sweet. How was your week? It was good. We went to an MLB game last night, the Diamondbacks first Tigers. We have a friend that plays on the Tigers. So our whole like Bible study group went to they sent us tickets and we all went, which is really fun. You know what? It was a little irresponsible to bring such a small baby. Why? Like outside. No, I don't regret it at all, but it was really loud. It was really loud. And the headphones. You could have brought it. No, I didn't even think about it. Oh, I wouldn't have thought about it either. I know when she was two and a half weeks old. Well, how where'd you sit? We were in, we were in the upper deck section. Okay. So it was a quiet. There's no point. Because we took CJ, my sister and my brother-in-law took CJ when he was like 18 months old and we were up. So it wasn't that loud. So I just didn't think about it and our seats were low. Like we were down. It was really loud. It was so super loud. I hadn't thought about that. And she was okay with it, but I just felt like bad. Um, but it was super fun. And we were up really late last night. We didn't get home until after 10, but it was good. Yes. He, he got to go in the field after and see our friend. Yeah. So CJ got to go out there and he thought it was awesome. Oh, yeah. It was really fun. So that was great. I just, and I don't remember the weekend. I feel like CJ is going to be a baseball guy. I could see him being a baseball guy. I think so too. Both of our great, like both of his grandparents love baseball. Caleb loves baseball. So I just feel like it's kind of ingrained in. Cute. Yeah. I mean, it's kind of the same for your boys too. Your dad loves baseball. Yeah, maybe they will. Yeah. I can't picture it right now. I honestly can't picture anything. I can't picture right now. I'm like, what's, CJ's still going to grow up and just love trains. I'm just terrified at the thought of putting a bat in there. No, literally. That was so scary. I'm like, no, we're not going to. You can't be trusted. No. And just flying baseballs around the house. I'm like, I don't know about that. I asked Blake what's the work way there? To play. He said soccer. Yeah. He said, I wouldn't have thought of that one. A little girl, he's playing soccer is the cutest thing ever. Me too. Me too. Cute. Actually, when I was walking out of the grocery store one evening last week, this guy was like super nice to our kids in the grocery store. And he was just a sweet guy. He was a grandpa. And then he's like, come with me to my car. And I was like, OK, we're not supposed to do that. Now is that a town? And then I was like, this is this is bad. My mom was with me. So I was like, this is fine. Yeah. And he had in his trunk a bunch of like game balls that I don't know what he he has some position with baseball. And he gave each of my kids full on heavy baseball, which they love. That's so sweet. But I'm also like, someone's going to get a black guy. Don't follow people to their cars. It's one of those moments where you're in it and you're like, this could have been a bad idea. I had questions that I just kind of looked to my mom and she was like, oh, your mom was with you. Yeah, she was. Oh, OK, your power numbers. It was dark. So that's why I fell a little bit more honest. Watch out for this story. Yeah. He was a stupid guy. He was going. He kept talking to us all throughout the grocery store and was like, sweet, but great. Everything turned out great. And they have free baseball. Beware, be rude, stay alive. That's right. Um, but my hope that this is great that it was a busy week. My hope is that I have high energy recently. Good. Yeah. To the turn. My energy feels like really high. Honestly, I'm like, I get up in the morning like, yeah, I will go to 530 this morning. What? Well, how you really do? To go on my walks. Yeah, I was so the opposite. I couldn't leave the house today. I told you. I had a lot going on. I know. I was just one of those days where I looked at my children and I looked at myself with my eyes like, we're not leaving the house today. There's just no way. Yeah, there's no way. And I felt deep shame about it. Don't. That's what you're not supposed to do. And there's Bible study. It's like, don't feel shame. And like, I feel shame. It's good. It's good. No, we could just make sure. You were safe. Yeah, I know. You're usually late. So I told everyone not to be concerned. Don't be concerned. She always gets your 30 minutes late. I'm always late and then you're always later than me. I know. You have a baby. And so she's not that young anymore. I'm like out of the range. I'm like the newborn. It's like girl. Kail, as long as you're nursing, I told Kail, but I always miss burn workouts. Like are the I always miss the world. But he goes, how have you not made an adjustment? Like, I was like, I don't actually know. I'm just accepted. And he's like, you should adjust. But every day, every day, 10 minutes late to the same things. It's like, how are you living your life like that? It's actually such a great thing to think about. Yeah. He's like, how have you just not made a change? Okay. Ouch. I'm like, you know, he said it like lighthearted and then it kind of stuck with me. I'm like, you're like, that's not the day. That's such an interesting thing to like you guys both work out to a burn. I leave the house at 8 15 every single day. Like that is the time I leave the house. And I get there plenty of time to leave before that. But do you you don't leave it like that exact time every day? No, usually, Augusta's pants right around that time. That happens every day. I'm like, OK, loading up blowout. I changed diapers in my own garage. OK, because I'm like now is the time you're just staying in there with your arms crossed is waiting. Yeah, I'm like, we're not going. I can tell, you know, I'm on those. Yeah, they have. I was like, are you doing it right now? I said, no. Get on your back. Of course you are because you have somewhere to be. Right. Exactly. No, I'm like, of course you are because we were on time. Anyway, I feel like I have high energy. What was your hope? My hope is that. Sometimes it's like that. No, I have a lot of hope. I just try to I honestly can't think past this hour. Your hair, your hair is different. Oh, my God. Thank you. You look gorgeous. You know, this is funny. I chopped a lot off. Thank you for saying I look good. This is a goofy episode so far. Sorry, I'm out of hand. I haven't talked to people. I'm in. You haven't talked to an adult yet. I mean, my mom is here, but I wasn't really talking to you. Talking to me and I was like, yeah. I need to apologize. OK, I don't know what came over me when I went in to get my haircut. I was like, I want to cut it short. And she's like, how short are we talking? And then she kind of, you know, put her hands where and I said, shorter. And then there and she was like, I was like, shorter. And she was OK, well, maybe let's just do like a quick, you know, a rough chop and then we'll go back and see and fix it up. And I don't know what came over me. I was just very daring and I just kept telling I was like challenging her, like, shorter, shorter, shorter to the point where she was like, hey, it's not going to look good. Like, your hair is so thick and I need a texture and thinker for that advice because I'm trying to style it myself. I was like, go above the shoulder. I feel like that's where you thought. Go to the chin. I was like getting crazy. She goes, hey, you know what? That's not going to look good on you. And I was like, I appreciate that. Thank you. You had to shut it down. But it just came over for me. I just kept challenging her. I love that about hairdressers, though. I feel like they are honest. Like they are very. They have to be. Yeah, because it's a pretty long term thing. And if we don't like it, we go back to them and they fix it for free. You know, so it's like they don't really want that. They're like, I don't want to see you again. Yeah, I don't want to see you again. Please never come by for a long time. No, it looks great. Thank the mom chop. Yeah, it was time. How much did you get cut up? I think if my hair was like to my nips. Yep. OK, great. Yeah. I don't know what I'm not going to comment on that. Seven inches, six inches. My hard, I guess, I don't know. I feel like I cycle through this one all the time, probably like every four to six weeks where I just feel like I'm not productive. And I'm just like every day, I'm just like, didn't get done what I wanted to do. And then I just beat myself up and then I'm like, OK, well, yeah. Try again tomorrow. Yeah, yeah, literally. That's just one of those things. I would say my heart is the same. Just like, yeah. And I'm like, I exhausted myself today. What do I have to show for it? I know I looked at my floors. This is one of the things that was really bothering me today. I just felt like our house was such a wreck. I looked around and I was like, if the food falls on the ground, it's not getting near anyone's mouth. Like normally, our house is clean enough to where if something falls on the floor, I don't blink an eye. Our floors were so gross. There was no chance. Like I wasn't going to sit on the floor. It was just so gross. Like our house was dirty. And I just was like, this is not. No, I feel sick to my son. I can't live like this. You can't live like this. No, I just I feel like I had one too many days or I felt like I was just like hitting roadblocks. Like so I couldn't check something off of my list. And I was spinning my wheels. Yeah. That's hard. Well, you know what? Today is a new day. Today is a new day. On the other side, I'd say, I feel like you've done everything. Everything I've asked of you, you've done for me. Really? Yeah. So I feel like every time I'm like, and then I just started, I'm like a frustrated with myself. Then I'm like, I just got to go get Matt at Matt right now. Matt, give us a. I just need some of the blame. I have to apologize. I was like, I feel like I've just been pointing out a lot of your flaws because I'm I am feeling. Cating myself right now. Right. Right. He goes, thank you for apologizing. Yesterday, I killed people. You're like, no, you're just. Sponsors. Because it feels like it feels like shaky ground. Like when I'm like going to put myself out there because I could lash back really quick. Yes. Because I'm feeling like I'm doing this. Yeah. I'm doing this. But then if he doesn't respond right, it's really dangerous. So he's like, he was like, he was like quiet for a second. He goes, hey, thanks for saying that. That's a good response. You're welcome. Yesterday, I was feeling so. I had a great day. Like in the morning went to the gym. My mom and I went shopping. Like it was just a really fun morning. Went to Barry Devine, got us eyeballs. And then the last like four hours of the day, Kailb, I said, come home at five so we can leave for the game. And then it was just a crazy four hours and Kailb got home 30 minutes late from work. And I was like, called him. I said, where are you? And he's like, I'm so sorry I'm coming. And then when he got home, I was just feeling irritated. And that's like, he goes, I'm so sorry. And then I looked at him. And I was just like, I, there's no reason that I should be irritated. I went shopping today. I went to the gym. I had a fun girls morning. And just one hour of my day was stressful. And I'm like, taking it out on you. Today was a terrible. I actually don't want you to apologize. I was like, this is a pride thing. To Davis and Ralph. I actually had a really easy day. Blake did that. What you were saying to me the other day, because I'm very volatile sometimes. Sometimes I forget to throw diapers away. They just end up where they end up. Like very, very kindly came up and said, thank you, you've done so much today. Like doing the dishes and cleaning up the house. Like I really noticed that. Just like, can we be better about throwing the diapers away? It was because would your dogs eat them? No, they don't eat them anymore. He was just, he just stuck. Oh, he was just got a problem. He just hates them. He just hates them out. I see no problem. I exploded on him. He's like, every time and then we debrief afterwards. And he's like, how was I supposed to present that any nicer? I'm like, you just don't present it. You just don't say anything. I honestly, there's some validity to that. I feel like money. He knows what he's like. I'm like, just don't say anything. If you knew, maybe you should have. If you knew it might be an issue. He's like, got it. So can't say anything. I'm like, so remember those other 15 diapers I did throw away? Like this is one. I know. I fall onto that territory. That's real life. That's real. Disgusting. Well, that was good. Hopefully we can all relate to that. Everyone can relate. Everybody, exciting news. It's already gone live, the live event. I don't actually know if by the time you're hearing this, if there are any slots available, but if there are, check that link and snag your spot because they are limited. And I mean, I don't want to to our own horns, but I'm expecting it's full at this point. Might as well give it a shot. It was full last time. That's why I thought we could. And we're excited to see you if you're signed up. So excited. This will be really fun. We're doing a little workout, little hangout afterwards. And it's gonna be really fun. So fun. I cannot wait. It's gonna be, it's tomorrow. Yeah, it's tomorrow. Oh heck heck. Are you gonna get your trainer, my phone on the ground? I can't work out. So what am I gonna do? You just walk around the room. I'll just start doing my laps with my headphones on. You're actually doing building laps. You guys, I keep seeing the same neighbors every time because I also do like two laps. I'm like, hello, it's me again. Again. You never know when you're gonna find me. I got rained on this morning on my walk. Oh, I love that. I should expect that. That sounds really nice. It was dark though. Oh my gosh, Abby. 5.30 in the morning. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Gotta do what you gotta do. It takes a long time and I can't take my kids with me. It's true. So, whoops, a good idea. I'm excited for today's episode. I'm very excited. I was actually getting like a lot of these things that I'm brought up. I'm like passionate about it. I'm like, oh, I could talk forever about this. Oh my gosh, I can't wait. But that's actually, let's wrap it up. This idea was one of our original ideas. We're doing an Abby's Favorites episode. Think of us as Oprah. Think of us as Oprah. Think of us as YouTubers. Yes. Yes. Remember when YouTubers used to do like monthly favorite videos? Yes. I loved that. That's actually my most YouTube era. I went back with this episode just to kind of like look at, I just went through some of the thumbnails of the ones I watched. Yeah. And I was like, oh my gosh, all these videos are like nine to 12 years ago. Yes. I used to watch them every month. Yes. Some of those OG beauty guru creators, Jacqueline Hill, I lived off her videos. When everyone was talking about the naked palettes. I still have the naked palettes. I still have my naked palettes. But everyone's got it. It surely expired. I have the naked too. I never got the two. It was cool tones, so. Oh, I didn't know my tones at all. I just got what I got. Thank you, Quince, for sponsoring today's episode. I have been doing a little wardrobe reset recently. Quince is always a go-to for me. I really love focusing on quality products. That is something that I can speak to Quince for. Their pieces are just really well made, versatile. I specifically love their fleece shorts. I talk about them a lot. They're just super comfortable. They're the perfect mom short, I feel like. And they can fit over my bump. And I anticipate I'll also be able to wear them after pregnancy as well. I'm the same. I love quality pieces over quantity. They do a really good job of having really high quality fabrics. So we're talking 100% silk. That's washable, cashmere blended sweaters. It's just nice knowing that the fabrics that you're putting on your body are well made. They're good for you. They're good for the planet. They use premium materials like 100% European linen, organic cotton, and super soft denim with styles starting around $50. Their spring pieces are lightweight, breathable, and effortless. The kind of things you can throw on and instantly look put together. That same focus on materials carries over into their accessories like their leather bags, which are made from 100% hand woven Italian leather. Honestly, they look way more expensive than they are. And how Quince does it is they work directly with the ethical factories to cut out the middleman to provide you with affordable prices with such high quality materials and fabrics. Instead of going straight into our favorites, we're gonna talk about some of the, in our opinion, overhyped, over praised, maybe over priced products. Just ones that were kind of flops, let us down. And we actually pulled you guys on the Always Hear podcast Instagram, which if you're not following us, please follow us there because it's really fun. We usually try to engage with you guys on their like every week for these episodes. So it's fun when this is kind of like a mutual thing. We give you some, you give us some. It's just fun this way. So you wanna start naming some of these? Okay, you're not gonna agree with this first one. No, I don't, I already don't. She said chomps, this is Ashlyn. Chomps, you love chomps. I mean, yeah, I think it's a great snack. I've actually never had a chomp. What? You've never taken one from Abby's house? I've never had a chomp. I get these turkey sticks from Sam's and to be honest, the casings on these beef sticks are a little freaky, but I- Your turkey sticks are a weird color. Yeah, they are. They're really thick and long. I just think it's a good option to eat the protein. It is a good protein. It's a good protein, yes. Okay, this one says Stanley Cups. You know, I would agree only because I love the 40 ounce traveler. I don't think that's over-hyped, but the lid, right. Spilling. There's just better options now. Gracie said baby swaddles. That moral reflex, what are you doing? What are you talking about? Yeah. Are your kids just chill? Your kids don't squirm in the night. Rebecca said, honestly, smartphones over-hyped and addictive. Addictive for sure. Totally. Over-hyped. If I had to switch to one of those, what do they call those block foams? I thought about it. What do you call block foams? So you can put block on a smartphone. Oh, that's not what I'm talking about. Oh, that's what you're talking about, brick. I'm thinking of brick, maybe block is a thing. I don't know. They have these basic phones. And I was like, for a while, that sounded good. But I was like, I would have to really adjust. Do I get a map at that point? Like, I do. I get a physical map. How do I find phone numbers for anything? Right. It just feels like it would be way more complicated to get rid of it now. I do, too. Yeah, Apple's done a wonderful job of keeping it in the ecosystem. I think it needs the hype. Jaylin, oh, I'm sorry. I'm reading them all. No, I like it. You read it. Where are we at? OK. Crumble cookies. Some of these I have in here because I'm like, I know you guys will disagree. Crumble cookies. I can agree that, yeah. Some of them are. I enjoy them. Yeah. They're very sweet. I'm never going to be upset when they're presented to me. I got to be honest. I watch a review of their cookies every week still. People just need to be mean about crumble, if I'm going to be honest. Yeah. They're like, it's not baked properly. I'm like, oh, are you a baker? Yeah, I'm sorry, professional. You want a cookie for being so smart at cookies? What? What are we doing? Not a crumble cookie. I really want to try this week's lineup, but it doesn't look like I'm going to make my way there. I mean, I can see that. I mean, there's a lot of hype. I love a cookie, though. Vibration plates. I'm sorry, this is a scam. This is just a scam. You've seen those plates where the girls stand, and they just go, this is this is this is this. What? You know what I'm talking about? You know, yeah. Yeah, and they're like, it's like lymphatic drainage, and it's like doing 50 squats. This might have been the most submitted thing, was the vibration plate. I don't think I even know there. This is a big thing right now. This is on the same, this is on part of me of the red light therapy masks. I'm sorry, ladies. Where are these? Wait, what as a vibration plate? Like you stand on this plate at your house? It looks like a scale, like a weight scale. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you would just do it while you're brushing your teeth, and it's vibrates and shakes your whole body. And people are like, it's really good for your circulation. I'm like, just stretch. You know what I mean? Circulation? Yeah, I don't know what the benefits of it are. I don't know. I'm just assuming some of these claims, but I agree, Kenby. Yeah, that doesn't sound right. OK, this next one, oh, she's kind of, she put a list. Claw clips, Oreos, dry shampoo. I have to disagree on Oreos. Oreos, I never buy or eat, buy them, but when I eat them, yeah, the sleeve is gone. They're so good. That's the one you chose to disagree on. I will say with Oreos, you can't get a knockoff Oreo. It does not taste the same. And I did not. Double stuff, get out. I've been buying Oreos. Oh my God. Matt was eating a golden ore. Golden? I wanted a golden one. And he walks over and starts talking to Abby. She goes, can you see the golden Oreo? I can smell it on it. That was a Michael. No, I had a genius, genius pregnancy craving idea. I was like, golden Oreos in a vanilla milkshake with malt powder. It was delicious. That does not really good. But I don't think anything with a cookie blended in is bad. OK, wait. Claw clips and dry shampoo. No, those are pretty great. These are great. Katie says, clean, simple eats, clear protein. Girl, I love their regular protein powder, but I can't go with the clear. Really? Strongly disagree. Some flavors do taste more stevia than others. So I think it depends. I think it's flavor dependent. So I don't fully disagree. I mean, have you tried the sour watermelon? The sour watermelon's so good. I just got the pink starburst one. It's great. That one's the second best. They need to make a fruit punch one. I love fruit punch. Wait, I didn't like their sodas, the clear protein. Yeah, those are different. Those are not. Those have a, I mean, I like them, but they definitely don't have a different flavor. Different aftertaste. Yeah, but the powder is amazing. Oh, I disagree, Jordan. This next one is the Duna car seat slash stroller. That thing is the love of my life. I don't know how to have a baby without it. I mean, what do you think? You just, you're carrying a pumpkin around. No pumpkins. You always got wheels in the back of your trunk. How does that work? No, no, no. I don't know about that. I don't know about that. Are there people, I have a Duna too, yeah. So I'm like, I don't, I don't know. I don't know how you live without it, but also, are these people who are saying it's overrated? Have they had one? True. Or do they have the Nuna? The people are like, the Duna is expensive and done, but the Nuna is like double the price. No, it's very expensive. The Nuna doesn't do the same thing that a Duna does. No, you gotta carry the pumpkin and transport it. I do understand it is heavy, but what you do, you just take it out of it whenever you need it. You just have to get stronger as your baby gets bigger. Exactly. You don't look at Abby's video from a really long time ago when you were like, this is why I, this is why I work out. This is why I work out. Literally. You gotta tote my 18 month old huge baby in a Duna. He wasn't that Duna a long time. Really long time. People are like, oh, I gotta get rid of the Duna, they grew out of it. I'm like, they did not grow out of it. That's what she said. It's like, how's it they did not grow out of that? This guy said, bottle warmers and baby specific long to detergent. I would agree with this. I've never had a bottle warmer, but. I don't understand not having a bottle warmer. I don't get it. I bottle warm every. You guys are interested in warming bottles. Yeah, I don't have one, but I'm not like opposed. Do you just take cold milk out of the fridge if you're giving them a bottle? No, I just take the bag and I run under smoking hot water in the sink. I don't want to sit there. I want to put it in the bottle warmer and walk away. It really doesn't take long. Why do you have to sit? Why do you have to sit there? It takes longer to do the bottle warmer, if I'm totally honest with you. And also, one time I saw you guys, I think Blake had it in like boil water on the stove this day in a pot. Well, it's because we pack it in a bottle. That's why we do it like that. It is harder if it's in a bottle. When it's in a bag, it's not as hard. We always pack it in a bottle. Like if you were running a bottle under the sink, that would never work probably. But the bag, it warms up really quick. Quicker than a bottle warmer. I would agree. Maybe we'll try that next time. But no, I was going to say, I do want to get a bottle warmer next time. It's, I think it's. You guys sold the water on the stove because it's in a bottle. Do you use glass bottles? No. But he does it. We don't have a bottle warmer here. Right. So at home, we do have a bottle. And we have a portable bottle warmer now. I was always confused why you guys had the boiling pot. But that makes sense because it's in the bottle. Blake left the pot of water on my stove so many times. And also one of the time running. Like he left the pot. He just was boiling. No, he left the stove on all day. I've done that before. Yeah, I've done that before. But we've gasped. It's a little concerning. Maybe specific laundry detergent though. I would agree with that. Yeah, you just get a clean. Just get a scent for your own clear. She doesn't have any reaction to me. So I'm like, if she's on my, you know what I mean. Like your baby's not having a reaction to your clothes being near you. Our kids did actually. That's kind of a good point, Addy. It's like you're washing your kids' clothes and things, but you're holding your kids when you've got detergent. That's not true. I don't even think DREFT is good for the famous brand DREFT. It's not even probably good. It's very fragrance. Yeah, I love it because I have it. Once I run out, I'm not buying it. Yeah, I like it because it reminds me of a baby. Yeah. I don't think I'm like doing something special for them. Teeth whitening at home literally leaves my teeth sensitive. I did today, actually. But I use the Lumina ones. They don't leave me sensitive or the Eno Pro. But apparently Dentist said those don't work. So I did ads for them. I thought they worked. I have fake teeth, so I can't know. Yeah, OK. Buying a house. Everything is always breaking. And we, my husband, have to fix it. That's OK. Honestly, I'm sure my husband. 25 steps skincare routines. Absolutely. Your skin can only take so much. Yeah, I don't know. That's not all soaking in. Layers four through 25 are breaking the barrier. Yeah, your barrier is broken. Dyson Airwrap. I don't have one, so I can't say. I don't have one. I actually wrote this as one of my personal flops. Oh, interesting. I borrowed one. I borrowed them, actually, I could say like two to three times. It's actually one of the most returned products. Interesting. I mean, it's really expensive, so. It's difficult to use. It's hard to use. There's a lot of curves. But even when you do use it, it takes a while, for me at least. And your hair just falls right out. It does. OK, so I have the T3 micro version, and I like it. But I had to lower my expectations about what my curls are going to look like. It's like a blowout look. It was just like movement. But I'm like, that's a lot of work for a light curl. Just curl the ends of your hair. I know. Totally. Heatless curls. I agree. I agree. I did it twice, and I was like, I'm out on this. I don't want a headache, and I want to sleep good, and I want to be comfortable. And I don't care what my hair looks like. Cybertruck. I don't have an opinion. I feel like it's a good billboard when your company do it. I think they're hideous. I mean, yeah, they're stupid. Here's what I think about them. I appreciate the innovation. I agree. I like that it's different. My sons think they're cool. Right. I'm like, you know, I like that it doesn't look like a normal car, but that's as far as my husband thinks they're cool. And there will be a Cybertruck in our driveway. And she won. Did you worry? Matt Howard did. What about your mom car? I'm getting a mom car. Still. But Abby, you're the spender. I'm the spender. I'm like, you have freaking Kia Carnival. Yeah, baby. He's like, he's like not the minivan, but the Cybertruck. I was like, that feels like a dad car. Matt's getting a truck. He drove a truck in high school, and he just misses that. Oh, I thought that was Caleb's truck. Did they share it? The black one? I feel like Caleb's taking a couple of minutes. Probably. Yeah, he probably did. OK, mentioned already on the pod, but red light therapy. Love from Ireland, Maria. Maria, we are one. I'm asked, why are we wearing them to our workouts? I feel like they are worn. You're supposed to wear them for like 10 minutes. Like, why are they worn for hours? I don't know. It's performative. Like, I haven't worn them because it kind of feels like it's going to over-stimulate me, like the sticker on my face. I actually really like them. Really? And I used the ones. They were just from Amazon. It was Teres and Honor was the brand. And I wore them every morning for a month. And I noticed a huge difference in my under-ice. Yeah. So and those weren't that expensive. But yeah, you only wear them for 15 minutes. Maybe just for the extended wear. I saw a video of her creator wearing them. And she started in the morning and then went and got her hair done. And she had them on the entire, like, hair coloring, everything, like the whole thing. They become the new pimple patches. They are the pimple patches. But they don't even, why? They don't last that long. Unless you're like replacing them, maybe. She's replacing them. No. Mrs. Kami's tear has a controversial look. Spicy, Miss Kami? She said condoms. She said, I mean, when you are married, they are just the most horrible thing. I agree. I'm team, team that. I'm team condom. Listen, I'm not trying to have a baby. And I'm not doing the other stuff. So KILPS. There's other ways. Hocus. What? No, we love our hocus. That's on my list. I love the color and feel, but they were not durable. And barely lasted me three months. Oh, you know what? Mine lasts about, I would say if I wear mine a lot, they last like six to eight months. They're not like a full year long shoe. Yeah, but that's like any running shoe you're doing. They're also meant for running only. Like you're not supposed to wear them all the time. So if you're a nurse or something, I feel like if you're like, you're putting your pound on the pavement on those, I could see you running through them quickly. But what else are you going to wear? No, I'm saying they should. But I could see them not lasting as long if you're using them that often. Like I only wear mine on walks and runs. This next one actually creates a reaction to me. Kindles? Mary. I'm sorry, we're disagreeing on all of that. Do you have one? I did. I was like, I'm going to take ones that I think they're going to have. Did you take ones that had me? Addie's rage-baiting us. Why are you rage-baiting me? I love Kindles. Right, I said Dr. Pepper's low-key gross. Add love, Dr. Pepper. Do you talk to Pepper Zero every day? So funny. I don't like Dr. Pepper personally, but. I don't like Coke. And I used to always, my maiden name is pronounced Coke. And I was like, I should like Coke. Like I literally took that person. I was like, I should be liking it. I found some things you were stuck on. I should never be a Coke. That's why I was meant to be a Bizzle. Addie, I never said your last name for a long time. Because I was like, is it Koch? People said it a lot. K-O-C-H spelled Coke. Blake tells me it's pronounced Coke. I'm like, that is not how my, I still tell you how my last name is pronounced. He's like, you're actually wrong. Deanie said e-bikes. Maybe. Maybe. I kind of agree. I was like, I want my kids to pedal their own bike, but then I realized it'd be left behind. I know. I would say that all the time. Like, poor student is going to be left in the dust by these kids. Little lemon leggings, 100% disagree. Right. Next. I kind of agree that. I'd say private on that one. Well, I'll talk about this later. Abby drank the potion because she worked there. Don't steal one of my stories for later, ladies. OK. All right, now let's go into our personal flops. You already said my first one, which was the air app. I can't say. Oh, that was on your list. I used it. Yeah. I used it a couple of times with friends because I was seriously going to buy one. This was in the time where you couldn't even buy one because they were being bought all the time, but turns out most of those ended up returned. I, there was like a crazy high return rate. I don't know what it was, but I think it's because it is a disappointing product. And I don't think people would have been as disappointed by the results if it wasn't like $500. Yeah. It's very expensive. Yes. I understand. That's a price point for a, that's a premium price. Premium price for a, whatever price. Not a great return. OK. My first one is, sorry, happy. Well, it's natural deodorant, but it's specifically, well, it's all of them. OK. I've tried all of them. I've tried them all. I tried them. You have weird pits. I know. That's why every single one I get an allergic reaction to. And this is a bad story. You ready for this one? I did an ad for Wild Deodorant. Come clean. What'd you say? I'm coming clean. I love Wild. But I actually stand by it because I emailed them. And I said, hey, I actually have a lot of allergic reactions to natural deodorant. So I'm probably going to pass. And I go, we have a sensitive line. So they sent me the sensitive line. I used it and I did not break out. So I put the free fill in. I was using it. I did my ad. It was great. I ran through the sensitive one and I put in the next sensitive one. Yeah. Immediately my armpits blew up and you need to figure your allergies. I know whatever. Since then I haven't been able to use their deodorant, but it was there. Primarily pure, Tom's, love beauty planet. I've tried at least saying. I feel like you're not alone. I feel like a lot of people dislike natural deodorants, but here's my argument. I feel like yours is different because you're having allergic reactions. You can't really say. I don't know what it is. But your armpits do need an adjustment period. If you're used to antiperspirants, for example, you have to like... You're going to sweat. You're going to sweat for a while. Your body will regulate. And then same with odor. There's a period of time, but then I feel like your body will adjust and I think it's kind of worth it. Yeah. I just can't tolerate it. You just can't tolerate it. Dang it. Well, you're not alone on that one. Yep. I do love wild deodorant. Okay. I have to preface this one by saying I love Super Goop sunscreen. I have it in my purse right now. I love it. I love it. What I'm not sold on and was actually kind of disappointed by it was their tinted sunscreens. Oh, interesting. Yeah. They don't... You rub it in and it disappears. It doesn't do anything for... The tinting aspect doesn't do anything. So don't buy it for that reason if you're hoping to have like a little coverage, a little color. It doesn't do it. Can I actually say I don't understand tinted sunscreens at all? I have some and I'm like, what do you mean I'm going to put this tinted sunscreen on and then put makeup on top of it and then do I reapply my tinted sunscreen? No, I think the point is to... No. What? Right. I'm confused. No, I think the point is just if you're not going to wear makeup, you could wear that. Like if you're not wearing makeup, like at the pool and you want like a little glow. Oh, okay. I was misunderstood. I don't think you're supposed to put makeup on top of it. Okay. So yeah, I was doing it wrong. Okay, I'm going to try. You put sunscreen on and then makeup and then sunscreen on. I was like a tinted like it's like a cream for my face. Like a foundation. Yeah. So you're not supposed to put makeup on top of it. Okay. So you know what? It's supposed to be your makeup. Okay. But then my hands were tinted and then I'm like, you're just telling me you're going to the pool and you're wearing... You've got like tinted hands. Wash your hands. It's not supposed to stain your hands. So you're all excited at the pool. No, put it on the morning. I just don't get it. Put it on. Like put it on in the morning. You're goofy. I just don't get it. That one, don't put it in your bag. Put that one in your kitchen. Put it on your bathroom counter. The tinted one. I'm just not going to use it. Don't do it. Don't use it, Abby. It's not for you. Okay. My next one. I have the Wally phone case. Let me show you. Wait. Don't say you don't like that. You don't know what I love. My Wally phone case. I got the magnetic case because I was like, oh, I have this, which I actually like because I take it off. I could put this on my stuff. Like my tripod. Yeah. I used to have the... It's not the Oli pop. What's it called? The stick to the back of your phone. Octobuddy. The Octobuddy. Okay. So I love my... Oli pop. People are clicking off. They're like, this girl should not have a microphone. I'm not going to use it. I'm not going to use it. I'm not going to use it. I'm not going to use it. I'm not going to use it. I'm not going to use it. I'm not going to use it. I'm not going to use it. This girl should not have a microphone. Okay. The octobuddy is amazing. And so I got the Wally pop, which is their magnetic version. Free. Free. Yeah, that was the longest squeeze I've ever... You definitely did. The more pregnant I get, the more I'm going to weave. You gotta take a breath. You're not my son! I'm not your son! I just don't need an explanation. Anyway, the Wally Pop sticks to nothing. It sticks to nothing! Okay, don't buy the Wally Pop. The Wally Pop? You're getting so neat! I know, no one's fine. No one's fine. Let's fix up the... No one's bought the Wally Pop! All these names are so similar! Oh, oh, yes! Oh, I'm sorry! Oh my gosh! I'm not okay. This is the issue, right? I didn't know that's what this was called. That's why I keep calling it an Wally Pop on accident. I didn't know what, I didn't know what, now I get it. Oh, I'm so sorry. Oh, sorry everybody. We can just give this one a dump. Just don't buy the Wally Pop. I'm not gonna stick to anything. Just get the regular phone case. Oh, God! That's all I have for flops. I couldn't think of anything else. I feel like I'm generally pleased with my products. Yeah, okay, my other one was the dime. I love dime as a whole general, but their skincare doesn't work for my face. So that's all. Okay, let's go on to our personal favorites. I feel like naturally let's stick with the beauty category. We'll do beauty and style. Mine is... Oh, we brought a show and tell. For the people that didn't see. What? Was that a pop gold? That's so dumb. That was such a dumb joke. We're never gonna get through this. I don't think we can recover from this. Okay. Josh, dang it. All right, here we go. My favorite beauty product is the first serum concealer. If you have very dry under eyes, this is not going nowhere. It's not like a cakey, but it's very light. It doesn't get into my creases. And it's really good. Next. I don't want to get any. It's a target. Okay, skincare. Do you have any show and tell things? For your skincare? Good old basic serrive. Oh, that's classic. But this kind. Don't get the hydrating one. Get the oil control one. This one is recommended by dermatologists. Everyone, this doesn't clog your pores. It actually gets your skin clean. Wow. And I have used this since I was in college. Wow. But I also have another one. This one's a new favorite. Vacation. I literally spray it on top. I'll do it right now. That's cool. I love this because I need to reapply face sunscreen. But if I... I got it on my mouth. It smells really good. But SPF 50. If I have my face all done, then I don't want to rub in more sunscreen on my face. But this, you just spray on top. That's a genius product. And in your hairline. Oh, that's smart. I always get burned on my scalp. And it's literally just like white cream in my hair. That'd be perfect for that. I love this stuff. And your ears and stuff that are hard to get. Wow. Okay, I might have to get that. You really should. You can get it at CVS. Okay. Clutch. My skincare product is... Actually, everything in anything merits skincare is unbelievable. I love their instant glow serum. I love their moisturizer. I repurchase those probably four times myself. But this is a new product that blew me away. It's the Great Skin Double Clean Face Wash. I love this thing. Look how much I've used. It's a foaming face wash. Ooh, I love a foaming one. It's so good. I've actually never had a face wash. So I actually took my makeup off in one go. I do this over my sink. It's really foamy. It's really light. It gets everything off. I use white towels after. No marks for my makeup. I've never had that. Like it's fully off my face. My skin is clean. Wow. Actually, I learned something from watching your videos. I'm going to use my eyes with my cleanser. Because in the Neutrogena commercials growing up with the celebrities, they would always go around their eyes. Oh. So I would always have to take my eye makeup off separately with Vaseline. Yeah, I start using it on my eyes. It helps a lot actually. Wait, my videos? What? No, the Neutrogena ads. Do you remember those? Oh yeah, your videos. When you like take your makeup off with your balm and you put over your eyes. Oh. I was like, you could put cleanser on your eyes. Oh yeah, I'm an old lady that likes cold cream. So what makes it double cleansing? It has an oil in it. Oh, but you still wash it. You have to shake it before it separates. And you have to shake it up before. No, you use it once. Shake well. Apply three to four pumps. I don't know what it is to be honest. But it has, it separates. That's all I can say about it. And you have to mix it up. So it has a, whatever. It has a whatever. Next category, fragrance. For this one, I actually ran out of mine because I love it so much. And it was really sad to part with. But this is kind of niche. I don't feel like people talk about this one, but the molecule O2 fragrance. Oh, I don't know. I'm going to buy another one. You guys can all smell it, but it is a fragrance that I would love to one day try to find a way to recreate because. And like with a slightly more feminine version, it is such a clean kind of musky scent. And it just, I like, I, it's so hard to find this smell. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. It looks so Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl Zahl I feel like that's like a, like, it's kind of like, you don't hear a lot of rose scented things anymore either. Kind of feel like an old lady for liking it. But. Yeah, I like rose. Yeah, I love that. My fragrance, I do have it for sure until looking for my pot of gold. You have pants in there and that pot. I brought everything. Okay, you can see I need to re-stock it. It's the Dime Seven Summers perfume. Oh, I have that one. I know you do. I actually got it. I came here for Griffin's Gender Reveal and you had the Dime perfume. It brings me back to that time of our, I've used it since then, since 2022. And I just keep repurchasing it. I love that it's clean so that when I'm spraying it, I don't like CJ or Vivian aren't gonna have reactions to it. It's light. I love this smell specifically. I love vanilla and it's like really warm and just, it's just a good classic smell that I think smells good on everybody. And yeah, I just will never not buy this. I love it. And it's like $37 or something. It's really affordable. It's really expensive and I actually have kind of learned why. What goes into them is very expensive. I believe it. Yeah. I know. This one you do have to reapply often. It's not like the most long lasting scent, I will say. But it smells like it. Oh, the molecule lasts even through a wash, you guys. Wow. Now, I don't think it's clean. No. But it lasts through a wash. That's not the Merit perfume, the retrospect. I love it. But it's like one spritz. It could be too much. I love that. But it's long lasting. Oh, that's good. It's really good. For fashion, I actually ordered another one and it was on my front door. So I'm just unboxing it on the box. Wow, I love that. Let's be real, I'm not very fashionable right now. I feel like I'm just comfy, what's easy. And I've been really loving the comfort matching sets. They're so good. Guess who I got on these as well? Me. OK, you and host. Who else? Who else? Val. Oh. Val's gotten a couple too. But like, oh, these. That pink is cute. You might show my undies. Oh. No biggie. No biggie, honestly. You have a carrot. I got the pink one. I have the green one. But I'm telling you, if you're pregnant or postpartum and you want to just be able to still wear them, you want to feel put together. OK, here's the truth about it. You can wear pajamas if they're completely matching and you put on a pair of shoes. Yeah, and some makeup. Yeah, maybe do something. Do your hair or your makeup. I do one of them. I don't know if this is actually, maybe might be marketed as a pajama set. Oh, really? I didn't know that. I don't know. I don't think it looks like one. I don't care. I'm wearing it out. I wear it to the zoo. I wear it everywhere. No, I love those. Super comfortable. They have so many colors. Yeah. And patterns as well. I love it. You got me the pants set for Christmas and I love it. Oh, I also have a more dressy option. Oh, I know. I have a more dressy option. From Quince, they have these cotton cashmere. So it must be like a blend. Yeah. Ribbed dresses. And I just got the, I think it's like a cocoa, like a dark brown one. The tank top I wore on last episode. That same color. Yes. You can get these dresses. And so if you're pregnant, it will definitely stretch. They're so comfortable, very high quality. And how often do you see cashmere for under $100? I know. And it would be great for all seasons. You could wear it for fall, dress it up, like with a sweater or a jacket on top or now. Like I'm going to wear it all summer. Heck yeah, baby. I think that is a great wardrobe staple. Yeah, I would agree. OK, my, well, let me button them. Abby's drawers are out. Hold on a moment. Let me zip them. Wait, let's do a little ASMR special. OK, these are the Abercrombie Curve Loves loose shorts. I actually think these are the dad shorts. But I think there might be discontinuing the dad short and transferred it to the loose. I could be wrong. But both of them, I have the loose and I have the dad. And I'm obsessed. I need the curve love because I do have a small waist and big hips, like a big booty. Oh, poor you. And they're the only ones that really do they don't gap in the back. So they're really comfortable. They're the perfect length. I feel like they're fun to dress up or dress down. And it's the perfect. This is the medium wash. I have them in medium and black. I just feel like you can dress them up or down really easily. Just a good classic. It's the first pair of denim jeans I've had. That's what I was going to say. I was 14 years old. The first pair you've had? Because I've just never liked the length on me. They're so hard to find. And I love the length because it goes past the wide part of my thigh, which I don't want them to be so short that it I don't know, just feels too short if it's past that. Do you know what I mean? It's the perfect length. I know. I love it. I love them. I love them. That's a really good find because I feel like denim shorts are just. I know. And they're on sale all the time. They're so good. I love Abercrombie. Yeah. For accessories, I did my Truly Bless Jewels necklace stack because I actually don't feel like I want to spend my time accessorizing. It's just not on my list of priorities on the day to day. But I love that these are permanent. And they're an awesome local business. Well, they're in Scottsdale. And I just think that they have really high quality materials that you can personalize. And so I have all my kids' little charms on this one. I love this little pearl one. That's the Kaia Pearl Choker. And this one has all my kids' birthstones and Matt's birthstone. Oh, which one? My top one. It seemed to have gotten a little tangled. But I love that you don't have to think about it. So it has Matt, Griffin, and Augie's birthstones. Cute. So pretty. Yeah, I really can't recommend them enough. I think that's an amazing, honestly, with May coming up, amazing Mother's Day treat for your mom, for your husband to give you. It's just quality, simple, beautiful pieces that will last. Obsessed. And they're a small business. So I love that. Yeah, I love my chain bracelets. Or matching ones that Addy cut off for her cruise. I cut off for my cruise so I can go on the water side. Treason. We're going to just have to go get a new one. It's for the memory, though. It was for the memory. My favorite accessory, this is a little bit of a pricey one. But it truly is my favorite right now. It's my new bag. It's the Arian Coach shoulder bag. It's the perfect size. I have this thing stuffed because it's currently in my diaper bag. But it has three pockets. Maybe we'll do it once in my bag in a few episodes. But it has two magnetic pockets on the outside and then a zipper pocket in the middle. And it's a shoulder strap bag. So I like that things feel secure. I have a Vivi pocket, a mommy pocket, and a CJ pocket. Yeah, I love it. Actually, it all kind of bleeds into mine. But it's OK. Order. It's such a beautiful bag. And for it to be leather, I think it's around 250, which is a good. I mean, that's expensive. Oh, I thought you were going to say I was way more because those designer bags get crazy. I know. It's from the outlet store. They still have it. It's the Arian shoulder bag. It's the perfect bag. I like the color too. Thanks. I know I wanted a brown. OK, moving on to our next category. It's home and lifestyle. What's your favorite home item? OK, this is going to sound really bougie of me. I will say I got sent these items in our house. But I feel like every time I look at them, I'm like, those are so beautiful and so perfect. It's our curtains. They're all from two pages. They're the custom curtains. They're just pleated. They're press-pleat. They stay in place. They're really thick, heavy-duty, beautiful fabric. And I just like our house is small. So the touches that we can make that feel special and custom make a big impact in our house. And I just look at them in the rooms. I'm like, wow, those are so special. So if you can budget and save for them and get custom curtains, I go room by room. It transforms your space. And we got them from two pages. And I love them. I purchase them on my own dime. I know. And I have the curtains in mind. And would you say it's worth it? They're worth it for me in the fact that they were very user-friendly to order from. Yes, they are. Because I'm like, I don't know the first thing about blinds. So I needed a lot of help. And so, yes, I would definitely say that. OK, this one is also kind of frivolous. But I said our Roborock. It's an electric vacuum mop. And I hate cleaning floors. Like, I just hate it so much. And so we just run this thing every night. It is so smart, this little robot. It goes around our dog. Like, it's literally like a dog turn around. Like, it mops our heart. It gets up on rugs and will then switch gears and then clean the, like, vacuum the rug. Whoa, that's cool. Yeah, it's pretty high-tech. How often do you have to empty it? It empties itself. It goes back to its little dog. At what? That's sick. It goes back to its little dog. It's like refueling. And it, like, does its like, going home. And then it goes back. So it does it all throughout the night. Oh. And to be honest, I don't know about, like, changing the water, because that's a matte job. Sure. I can't even know. That's all right. It's a blue job. And it doesn't seem to be too time consuming, because I don't really ever notice them doing it. Yeah. OK, well, that's exciting. The RoboRug Vacuum. They have several. But that's the brand that we have. They have, like, different varying degrees. OK, very cool. My favorite kitchen gadget is the silicone KitchenAid bowl enter that you gave me, that your mom got you for Christmas. She got me three. So I had an extra. I had you give me one. I love this thing. I'm so glad. Let me take my items out of it. That's what that is? That's what this is. It goes in your stand mixer. Yes. And it's like a cover. So if I make cookie dough, because a lot of times I'll try chicken, and then I'll be like, oh, I have to clean my bowl, and then go make my cookie dough. It's just an extra step. So this thing, you can just pop out. And or I'll make my cookie dough in it, and then I pull this out, store my cookie dough. I've never heard of that in my entire life. It has a lid. I have a third one. You want it? The red one? I would love it. It's so nice. And you could put it in the dishwasher. And yeah, I don't ever, like, I can keep my cookie dough in the bowl and still have my stand mixer. And it comes with a lid. It has a lid. Yeah, I love it. I use it all the time. When you gave it to me, I was like, I don't know if I'll use that. I use it weekly. I'm so glad to hear that. Yeah, great. Thank you, Laurie. Thank you, Laurie, for your find. My kitchen gadget is in my hard boiled egg maker. I mean, I can't stop on top of that thing. I use it every single morning. I'm eating three hard boiled eggs. Did it today? Did it yesterday? I'm doing it tomorrow. I have to think that this thing was made in Korea. Doesn't this feel? They do soft boiled eggs in a raw minute. I know. I just feel like they have the gadgets that are just so high tech and smart and cute. Yeah, they do it all. It's my little dash egg maker. I love it. It might be time to replace it. It is breaking, but it still works. I don't think I could tell you the last time I had a hard boiled egg. It's only $20. It's literally $19.99, I believe. Was that under your best purchase? No, I had a different one for that. But let me tell you, I love it. So I guess if you don't care about hard boiled eggs, then forget about this one. Sure. OK, I will forget about it. Thank you. How do you write scramble? Yeah, I do. That's normal. I don't know why I'm like this. OK, this one is my go-to. I need to feel like myself again, routine. I kept it light. My favorite Bondi sans tanning mousse. That'll really lift your spirits. That's good. If you need to just be shocked back into reality, nothing will make me feel hotter. It doesn't even matter if I apply it, right? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if it's the right color. It just matters that it's on. Totally. It just matters that I did it. Just get it on your body. And that makes me feel. And it's from Amazon. It's actually a lesser. There's so many different self-tanners on the market. They're kind of expensive. So the tanning's for. This one is not expensive. The Bondi boost one? It's under $30. Bondi sans. Bondi sans? You can also get a Targeted booth. OK, well, we need an Aussie to chime in if it's Bondi or Bondi. It's $33. $33? OK, yeah. With a mitt. Oh, with a mitt. I don't even buy it with a mitt. So. With a mitt, it's $29. $29. Oh, OK. Great deal. It lasts a while too. Yeah, you get a couple tans out of it. OK, then I would say. I get about $30 tans out of it. Like, it lasts a while. Oh, why did I think a bottle only got with one tan? Did it used to be like that? No. No, you get like $20 to $30. I have been poorly mistaken my entire life. How much are you using? No, I've never used it. Why are all these people self-tanning? Yeah, I've never used self-tanning. I was like, man, that's an expensive bought. A $30 for one tan is like a little. At that point, get a spray tan from an artist. That's why I've been confused my last 15 years. Let me clarify. Probably everyone knew this, but me. I've just never self-tanned, so I just. Yeah, well, you're tan. Well, I tan my face. I'll say that. But you guys don't like the Isle of Paradise drops. I love them. I don't dislike them. I just like using my mousse because it matches my body. Your body. Better. OK, perfect. Our favorite date night activity. Recently, when I say recently, I mean around Thanksgiving. Caleb, we have not been going on dates. We've been on a date a while. We went to the movies. And a good old fashioned movie date night is the best. We do that all the time, yeah. It's just so fun. We went to tell Wicked 2. And Caleb was really excited to see Wicked 2, which was kind of sweet. It just is so memorable. We went to dinner before, saw a movie, and it was just classic. Get back to the classics. That's why. I'm texting Blake. We should go on a movie night. Well, we've been trying to see Project Hail Mary. I want to. I think Caleb would love that movie. I want to see it so bad, but it's just so hard to get it on the calendar and make it happen. I've heard such good reviews on that movie. I read the whole book for the purpose of watching this movie. And the book was a lot for me to get through. So it was educational, honestly. I'm not really talking about it with the voice. I would watch it, but I just don't think that's my style of movie, even though it's very well done. It seems like a guy movie. But maybe that's why we go for a date. Yeah, exactly. I'll bring you these ones. I like guy movies better, actually. Quote unquote, guy movies. Just one of the guys. Not at all. I just don't like necessarily romance. Totally. I mean, is this even a question? Cheesecake Factory, our favorite day night. And bonus points if we go to Barnes and Noble afterwards, which we started that tradition. And Matt will take me to Barnes and Noble afterwards and pick out a book for me to read, which a lot of people wouldn't like. I love being. I love assigned reading. And I do read every single one. The one he's get like that I'm reading right now. He gave me and I'm like, Matt, crushed every time he goes, I just ask the employees what's good. Oh, my God. That's sweet. So we just go and browse and I pick out a book. That's sweet. It's really a fun time. That is a fun time. And most cheesecake factories are by a Barnes and Noble. It's fun. I feel like they are like that's why it works out. Yeah, that's a really fun little date. Go to gift for anyone. You have one for this? Need to be said. A Hydra guy. No one's going to be sad about this. Guys, girls, everyone wants a new cup. Mm hmm. That's a good answer. Put a little swig gift card in there. We're actually doing that for a friend. For her birthday. I know you cared about swig. No, I don't. My friend does. OK, that's yeah. Yeah. So we got her a cup and then a little gift card. Sweet. Yeah. So like if you want to do a little combo thing and you can go with it. You can never have enough as much as people want to tell you it's over consumption. It is. You've got to wash them. What do you drink out of? When they're in the washing machine, dishwasher. You could rotate them suckers. You have to do them suckers. I learned the hard way. Mold. Mold. OK, my go-to gift for anyone is the Volcano candle from Anthropology. Oh, good one. And if even if people don't like to burn candles, they have so many beautiful jars. Yeah. And their candle structures gorgeous and they have different sizes, so different price points. But that is a gift that everyone loves. Literally, we got one from our real estate agent. Real estate agent. Realtor. Realtor. Realtor. And we will never burn it because I'm like, this is very special. It's set aside. It is such a special candle. It's such a good gift. OK. Now we're moving on to food and drink category, which is very exciting because I've been eating a lot of food, drinking a lot of drinks. Coffee order. I'm so sorry. This is so basic, but it's just what I like. OK, every single morning I wake up excited about my double shot of espresso. Half-calf. What's a half-calf? It's literally like they put half the beans of a caffeinated decaf. Cool. I've never had that. Well, because I like two shots, but I don't want to have that much caffeine. Right. You need the depth and your cup of coffee. I need the volume. Right. We need the volume. Not the depth. Sugar-free vanilla syrup. Splash of milk. Splash of vanilla creamer. Recently I've been doing way less milk and creamer. I just really wanted to taste like coffee and lots of ice, obscene amount of ice. It's just been so good. Good. See, I'm kind of similar, but I'm a hot coffee girl. And every morning I wake up and I have two shots of espresso. Lungo. So the long shot. Yeah, the long shot. Is that what it means? I just thought it was longo. Oh, no, I think it's long shot. Yeah. OK. Lungo. Sorry. And then whole milk. And that's it. And sometimes I like a latte and sometimes I like a cappuccino. You have no flavor in there. No flavors. Wow. Yeah. I just love the taste of coffee. Sorry, Gen Z. I like it a little bit of flavor. I know they don't like the taste of coffee. They just love the milk. Do you notice that when you watch people make their coffees, I'm like, that's a lot. You're just having a glass of milk. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And some caramel in there. And some caramel. Well, OK. My first coffee of the day, I like it to have some flavor. My second coffee, if I have one, I'll just have it. Give it to me straight. This is business. It's not pleasure, right? No, it's pleasure. I know. I love the taste. I love the taste of coffee. This one, next category is hyperfixation meal. Recently, it's just been anything my husband can grill. I don't want to, I don't want the mess in the house. I'm like, Matt, you just go take that to the grill. I'll prep it and make a couple sides. It just makes my night so much easier. Yeah. We love that. We need the ease. When I was pregnant, I didn't want to touch any meat. So if there was meat in the meal, Caleb had to make it. So I get that. Chicken, salmon, steak. I honestly have brought up the idea of pork chops a couple of times. He doesn't seem excited about it, but I would love a pork chop. I'm not thrilled about a pork chop. Have you had a good pork chop? I have, yeah. I have. Just personal preference. I like pork chops. You know what burnt me out on pork was hella fresh. I was like, stop sending me pork. Oh, you could probably request that, not there. I know. I didn't know I could change it. Oh, dang it. OK, my hyperfixation meal is this is a breakfast that I've been really into. It's from Trader Joe's specifically. They're Trader Joe's brand Greek yogurt with honey. It's like the creamiest texture, almost like ice cream. It's so good. And it's so with honey. And then they have this trail mix. It's the almond, cashews, and chocolate trail mix. And they come in the individual pack. So it's like already pre-portioned. You just dump it in there. They're so good. And you top with some strawberries. This is a very sweet, sweet breakfast. And that's how I like it. Great. And I'm full for a long time. Good. Very satiating. Good. It's so good. Breakfast is the easiest meal to get hyperfixated on. That was a really good point. Is it needed just to be easy? Yeah. You just get your re-hargled. They're really like 10 years. Every morning protein pancakes. Right now it's two eggs and two pieces of chicken sausage. Great. Growing up from sixth grade to senior year of high school, I had two cinnamon and egg waffles just slightly, just slightly toasted. Floppy. Yeah, I needed a floppy. So I didn't make a mess on the bus. Wrapped in a paper towel out the door. Yes, wrapped in a paper towel. Yeah, out the door. Comfort food that never fails, soft pretzels. Oh, you're right. They're so comforting. They're so good. What's that Abby makes? I can make them again. Please make them again. I make them on Sunday. I think we ask every podcast episode like, please leave it. For Easter? Yeah, sure. Appetizer. Yes. With the cheese dip. You write every single episode, we're like, please make a spoon. Please make the pretzels. I love them. They never fail. They never fail. She does. Every time we ask, you make them. I'll make them. Such a giver. I love it when people, that's my highest form of love is people requesting specific foods that they know that I make. Yeah. It's very niche, but it really makes me feel loved. Oh, OK. I'll keep saying it then. Please place all requests here. It makes me feel so known. Your talent. My comfort food is pot roast, which you know I love when you go to time. I love pot roast. Can't get better than that. Pot roast or short rib? Bring it on. You make short ribs? No, never have, but I buy it at the store, like restaurants. If I go out, there's a short rib on the menu. That's what I'm wondering. I made them one time and it really overwhelmed me. I was like, I can't mess this up. This was so expensive. Yeah, no, I've never made them myself. So much bones. Oh, really? I mean, it's ribs. Sure. I've never actually thought about what it is. It's ribs. OK. There's a bone in every one. Well, I'm still going to eat it. Yeah, they're good. Yeah, they're so good. Sweet treat. How are you going to say anything other than Trader Joe's ice cream sandwiches? The sublime. Sublime. Sublime. The sublime variety is so good. Delicious. I can't explain it. If you don't live next to Trader Joe's, I know you're paying for 23 years of my life. I didn't live next to Trader Joe's. And it's a burden that you just have to carry. But the rest of us can enjoy the sublime. My burden is that they're not on Instacurt. That is so annoying. But honestly, it is a fun experience going to Trader Joe's. It is such an experience. I enjoy it. And every time I go, I have to get like five boxes of these because I don't know when I'm going to be back and I go through them so fast. I know. Only four in a box is criminal. But it keeps us coming back. My sweet treat is a Rice Krispie. And you know what I was thinking about this? Since high school, when I started to realize that I had free will, I would buy two of the large Rice Krispie treats every day at lunch. And I'd put one in my backpack for later and one I'd eat at lunch. I was addicted. I loved your eating habit. Wow. I have so many I could talk about. Now talk about the hot dog one right now. When I was in middle school, I went through a crazy growth spurt. I ate seven hot dogs with a bun at my friend's pool party. And her parents were stunned. And so I ate seven hot dogs. Were you like trying to set a record? No, I was just starving. And I was like, yeah, I'll eat more than the guys. I ate seven hot dogs with buns. And every time I'd go to her house after that, her parents would buy me my own pack. And I was like, I'm probably not going to eat that many again. I'm done growing. I'm done. I'm just going to have one plate. Just one plate. I'm so delirious. I'm so delirious. I'm skinny. I'm skinny seven. Seven hot dogs. Seven hot dogs. Seven buns. Now that is something. No condiments. No condiments. Just dog and bun. That is absolutely crazy. I thought they were surprised. Like, I've ever been like, wow, we didn't buy enough. You know what I mean? Like, they're probably freaking out. Yeah, you ate everyone's hot dogs. I ate all the dogs. I ate all the dogs. I just ate so much. Abby's coming. Hurry. Damn, please. Now. Abby, you're going last. No, honestly. Honestly, that just makes my love for you even deeper. That's so sweet. OK, we are now rolling into whoever's still here. We still have a lot more. Should we cut this? Kids and family category. How are you going to say anything other than magnet tiles for kids' products? Magnet tiles, that's what I put. Perfect. Enough said. Enough said. You got to have them. Let's go deep with the magnet tiles. I agree. Baby product. Newton Baby Breatheable Mattress. Yeah, that's given me the most peace of mind as a mom. Both my babies are like face fully in the mattress sleepers, and they can breathe. That's great. I said the Dream Land Sleep Sack. Those are great, too. In fact, I had a couple conversations with Augie. Augie is approaching three, and I'm like, hey, what do you think about not going with a sleep sack tonight? What about a blanket? No, sleep sack. He loves it. He just feels so safe in it. Yeah, they should make a transition product, like a blanket or something for older kids. Yeah. He loves it so much. Yeah, that's a good idea. Time buying taller activity. Mine's kind of weird. What is it? I think the Amazon kid's knives. Oh, the kid's knives. Yeah, the kid's knives. Any fruit or vegetable that you're going to be using, anything you need to cut in your recipe that you can safely give to a kid to try to cut with those knives while you're cooking or say, for instance, I just keep some celery in my fridge. For every time I'm like, I really need to cook, but I can't really give any of these tasks to them because it involves heat or sharp things. I literally just let them sit there and cut celery. They will do it for so long, so diligently cutting celery. And I think it's great for their motor skills. And that knife set is so cheap and we get so much use out of it. And it could really, my kids don't color, but they will cut with knives. They will cut. They also like scissors. Those like kid scissors. So I think that was a good activity. That's a great one. Mine is CJ loves going in the backyard with the hose and washing his cars. That's a good idea. He loves it. And like our backyard safe, so I could just open up the windows and it's all baby proof back there, turn the hose on. And I don't care if he gets wet. He usually comes back not with his clothes on. He's taking him out. He's getting some sun. He's outside getting fresh air. And he's washing all his toys. My kids aren't usually in clothes. Yeah. He needs clothes. I did look up because I was curious about the Dreamland baby. They have one that's for walkers. So you put their feet in it. So like, Augie still has one that's like fully over. He's full of the bag. Trust me, he walks in it. All right, yeah. But this one has like actual feet. Mide up because he can't even fully extend his legs in it. And I'm like, hey buddy, let's get rid of it. He's like, no, he literally just curls up in it like a little baby. That's sweet. I'm going to get the Walker one. That's genius. OK. There's size 23. Dreamland did an April Fool's Day joke last year that I fully fell for. The adult ones? Genius marketing, except they weren't actually selling it probably, but it got a lot of attention. They said they were making adult Dreamlands. And everyone was so excited, including your girl. And then they didn't get them. They didn't make them. They were like, April Fool's. Oh, and you're like, wait. Wait a minute. I'm actually, I know today's the day. Stay off Instagram, please. I came with all these companies making jokes. Oh, companies are doing it today? I mean, they're always like, we're cl- I remember when we were closing bolt. This is sad. It was all the, you know, I was like, oh my gosh, all these small businesses are also closing with this again. It was, I felt validating for a second. I'm like, the market's hard. And then it was like April Fool's. We're crushing it. I had to stay offline. Dang it. Good for you. Entertainment, media, slash music, what you got? What do you got? Guess. Justin Bieber. Oh, baby, you went on. I'm not a woman that switches up for music. Listen, Justin Bieber's been the soundtrack to my life. I was thinking about this. I remember where I was the first time I heard One Time. I was at a volleyball tournament. I mean, it's how you want to. Lobby of Incarnate Word High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Changed my life that day. I remember where I was when I first heard Baby. Where were you? I'm sorry, not Baby. Sorry, I wrote this down. My world came out when I was eighth grade freshman year. Soundtracked of my young adult, my young child life. My world, first concert, big concert that I remember going to. When I listened to the Believe album, Baby. No, I was Baby. I was in my kitchen, sitting on my parents' stools. And Sophie and I were laughing because she kept saying, swag, swag, swag on you. And then I'd be loved to the song. Purpose came out my freshman year of college. Should I keep going? Changes came out right after we got married. Swag, I was pregnant with Vivian. You know, it's the soundtrack of my life. And I'm never going to stop. That is so. Did you have to look back at when those came out, or that was just at the top of your brain? No, I did look back to confirm what was at the top of my brain. OK. So both. Yes, and? Wow. Yeah, it's all right. I'm taking a hard right. Because this category was entertainment, media, music. OK. What? I just said audible. Like the audio books. You're like a bug. Mine was audible. And so audible is, I've been going on a lot of walks. I'm on public rest, so I can't work out. So I just go on walks. And I feel like I prefer to read a book, but listening to books, I have started to transition. And I like it. You like it? Yeah, I do like it. I've read two books on audio. Every time I tried to listen to a book, I haven't like the voice. Really? The same lady does like basically pretty much all of them. I don't know how she's got the time. She just paid probably good amount. Well, that's great, Abby. Sorry, I don't listen to music. No, that was a good one. No, that was a good one. OK. So I'm going to read a book slash movie. The Nightingale. Oh, yeah. I read that recently. My friend Curly gave it to me. Yeah, that's a gut-wrenching book, but it's an incredible read. My friend Curly recommended it, and I love it. It's a good one. I just did a recent favorite, which was Broken Country, because I haven't talked about it on this podcast yet. But a lot of people were talking about it, Broken Country. It's like a deeply emotional book. A lot happens. It's not a very long book, but so much happens. And it's one of those I'm like, I will remember this. And it was a good one. What do you have for a movie? I didn't put a movie. Oh, OK. I thought it was a book slash movie. What's your movie? She's the man. Of course. That's where it is. I watched that with you for the first time. You did? Yeah, I think I was post-partum with Griffin. Oh my gosh. That's a good movie. Such a good movie. When I was pregnant with CJ Giving Birth, I kept changing in my head during labor. Who's going to bring that blood and pain? I couldn't remember where it came from. And then I watched. She's the man. And it's their chant and their soccer huddle. I was like, why am I chanting? She's the man. Our brain's pushing. Our brain's pushing. She's so different. It's so stupid I did that. Who is your comfort creator, Abby? OK, I have two. One for YouTube is Caroline Winkler. I love her YouTube videos. She does a lot of interior design. And she just bought her fiance. She just got a really old school, really beautiful apartment. And she's been decorating it. And it's so fun to watch. She's hilarious. And I just love her videos. She's very creative, very funny, very entertaining. And then on Instagram, Maddie Nelson. I followed her for such a long time. And her family's so sweet. They're in Texas. She has a all-including boutique. I just love following her. So the only thing I really like, try to scroll on is YouTube. And this is kind of niche, you guys. But she deserves a shout out because I literally go to YouTube shorts every day to catch up on her shorts because she posts like three a day. Her name's Gloria. She does not maybe want all this attention. She just has such a tight and protective of this community. Oh, what is this? What is this? No, she's just has a special ed teacher. Oh, cool. But she also makes content of her making her coffee in the morning. And she makes sweet treats. And she's just so cute. I think her personality is so cute. Yeah, her name's Gloria. Her tag is like Glow Yo-Yo. I always show them at her videos. And I'm like, when I say think of a comfort creator, it's this sweet girl. She actually has a ton of, she has a lot of subscribers. How many? She's 53k subscribers. Oh, yeah, she's good. She makes shorts. She only does shorts. Yeah, fun. Anyway, she makes her coffee and she makes sweet treats. But mostly, I just love her personality. Sometimes she'll record what she brings for lunch to school where she teaches. And she's on spring break with her mom right now. Like, they went to Denver. I know. She's just really cute. And I just think her personality is just so joyful. And she loves sumo oranges and espresso. She likes her espresso to match the color of her hair. And it's really dark, so she likes it dark. She loves tiramisu. I just love her content. And she's cute. And she has two dogs. Cute. I've never heard of her. I wanted to follow her. Gloria. OK. Shopping favorites slash rapid fire. OK, I feel like my brain just stopped for a second. I skipped a lot of these. This is probably my most passionate one. OK, do it. I can do it. This whole category. OK. Favorite find under $20? Favorite find under $20. Go. It's this light. It's the Alexra light. Oh, yeah. This thing is really good. I need to get that. It just clips onto the back of your phone. And it gets really bright. I'm not going to turn it on. But I keep it in my purse. And even if you're just, I feel like when I was in college, I would have loved this. Because you're always out at night with your friends. And you want to get pictures taken. And the lighting is always terrible. And no offense, but the iPhone cameras nowadays are trash. They're really bad. I feel like they've only gotten better, Abby. I just don't like it. I don't like it. And so also, my light sensors are broken. That's probably why. OK. But I love this light. That's a good one. Yeah. It's like it ranges from $12 to $30 on Amazon. Mine is the Unbrush. I almost brought mine. You influenced me. I should have cleaned that out. But that brush will really detangle your hair. Yeah. It won't tug on it. You can use it when your hair is wet. Love that thing. It's really good. You influenced me. And I did get that. Thank you. I got it from my favorite things party two years ago. My eye buy this over and over item. Got to be Ilya Skintent. It's so good. I have probably purchased 50 of these. I've used it exclusively. I don't really wear a foundation. I just use this because I think it has amazing coverage. It has SPF 40 in it. And it goes on supernatural on the skin. You don't really have to match your skin color that good. It will blend. And it has skin care in it. It's just it won't clog your pores. It's clean. It's just. Mine's the same. OK. Ilya Skintent. And I think we actually wear the same color. Number seven Diaz. Which is messed up. No, I wear a bomb bomb. Oh, OK. One time you got Diaz and I was like too dark for me. It was a bomb bomb. OK. Then I'll keep using Diaz. I'm forever bomb bomb bomb. Bomb bomb. Bomb bomb. Oh my gosh. Next I cheated on this one. It's my favorite thing I bought this year. I bought it last year. But you know what? I cautious my favorite last year and this year. My espresso maker. It was a splurge purchase. I have a Jura espresso maker. And I'm telling you when I wake up excited every morning, I'm not kidding. I'm so excited. And I'm so excited to make coffee for other people too. It's just I'm like, you want a coffee? Please. Please. No seriously. Let me. Allow me to make you a coffee. And I said when I got that I was like, I'm not going to get coffee out. And I don't ever even feel tempted because I actually enjoy my coffee from home. Love it. I love it. My favorite thing that I bought this year, linen shorts I bought for Caleb. I'm sorry. But the demand's wearing shorts from 2012. So is that. It was time. And underwear. I mean. Yeah. All the things Caleb still wears as Cardinals World Series shirt from 2009. It's in great condition. Hang dry. Hang dry. Thank you. Your favorite thing is a thing you bought for your husband? Listen, I'm going off the spot right now. Linen shorts from where? I bought them yesterday from Old Navy. Yesterday. That was so weird. I can't remember. This was one that stumped me because I just started getting back into purchasing things. And there are a lot of things that tickle me because it just feels good to buy things. This tickling to buy your husband linen shorts? I got it from Old Navy. I actually bought them Abercrombie ones twice. It's a whole thing. I'm not going to get into it. I love the Abercrombie ones, but I just said they're on the Old Navy ones. They're pretty short. You got to be careful. No, it's not. It's a whole thing. OK. And my, I'll ask you off camera. Yeah. My, if I care to know. You know, you can know it. It just, it doesn't. They don't care. The people don't care. My go to athletic brand, Hokas. Hokas are great. I love Hokas. I also love Hokas. Did I mess up by doing shoes? No, that's great. OK. Mine's Lula Lemon. I worked there. I got bought in and I'll never, I'll never buy out. The quality is unbelievable. I still wear my stuff from high school. You just got to hang dry it. Classic quality. It can't be beat. And I always ask for gift cards and things on like my birthday and holidays. And it's just like the big, I just love it. I love it. I love it. So many competitors out there. I know. And they don't compare. For miscellaneous, I said my AirPods Max, which this is one of those things where I was like, this cannot be worth it, which I actually do feel like you could probably find some good dupes, but it was a gift for Christmas. That way you got like partially from my mother, my in-laws, partially from my grandma, and we also chipped in. So it was a sweet, it was a pot. And I got these headphones and I wear them on my walks. I wear them when I'm doing chores and I actually really like them. But I also have very particular ears. I don't like earbuds, but these are for sure the best headphones. I really do think that. I've heard good things. I really like them. I wish I didn't. I do think you could find a dupes, but gosh, it's a special gift. Yeah, that's a good one. They get a lot of wear out of. My miscellaneous tech is the Wall-E case. It's a great phone case. Wall-E, great. Yeah, put your ID in there, driver's license, one credit card, and you're out the door. It's perfect. Wow, are you guys sick of hearing from us? Let's hear from you. Moving on to voicemail. Yay. Ask, ask, ask Abby. Hey, Abby. It's Paulina. I have a two and a half year old, and we just started potty training her. And I was wondering if you have any tips or tricks on potty training your boys. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys. Bye. OK, Abby, take it away. I have the worst advice, but I think it's the best advice. Let's hear it. Just wait until they are literally ready. And I know that people think this is a big scheme by the diaper companies. But literally, our experience, maybe we just got lucky. I will say that. Was so seamless with my oldest. I literally was one day like, hey, do you want to wear underwear and go to the bathroom on the toilet instead? He was like, yeah. So we did. I will say going like a day, if you stay home with them, go a day where they're just naked. Because sometimes they're just so used to just doing it whenever they have to go. They need to feel like, oh, they can start and then be like, oh, no, this isn't the same. And then literally, he just started using the toilet. But I also waited until he was three. And I do think that the thought of doing it with my two and a half year old, he's getting close. But I'm still like, he just needs to wait till he's three. But every kid is different. I don't think it needs to be this big stressful thing, is all I'm saying. I'm like, you can wait. Diabers are great and work fine. And then just start the conversation a lot. Like even with Augie now, when I change the diaper all the time, I'm like, you know, one day we're going to get rid of these diapers and we're underwear. Pick out really fun underwear for them. We talk about what kind of underwear he'd want to wear, what he wants on them. And we just talk about it a lot. And then, yeah, just wait. Just push it off. But that's also just maybe if you have a special reason, preschools, they do require that in certain daycares. Yeah, I would just say stay home for like, plan to stay home for like three days and just leave him naked every time. And also, be very kind when there's an accident. I feel like this goes without saying, but there's a whole category of trauma related to body training for people. And specifically, like bedwetting. But every time someone has an accident, now that I've been peeing my pants, I bring it up all the time with the kids. And they're like, everyone makes mistakes. We're still learning. We say that all the time, like with if we have an accident. Or like, everyone makes mistakes. We're still learning. And so just like be very great. Like to get mad at your kid for that seems really crazy. But just talk about it in a really positive way. Positive, calm way, no big deal. Love that. It's great advice. Hi, my name is Emily. And I absolutely love your podcast. I listen to it every week. And just look forward to some awesome girl time with lots of laughs. My question for you guys is, how do you deal with comparison or envy when it comes to your friendship with other women? Thanks so much. It's a great question. Thanks for listening, Emily. It's really sweet. I actually feel like my biggest issue with comparison is I could listen to myself, which is kind of like a look back at pictures in the past. And it makes me sad. Like, oh, I look so. You know, so many things are going on then. Like how fun we were having. I have like myself to myself, sometimes harder. I remember distinctly when I had my clothing business, there was one girl in particular that we had started at the same time. I just felt like I was in competition with her because we were around the same time, so a lot of the same things. And I remember feeling really bitter sometimes about her success, because I know she had really great months that she would talk about. And I'd be struggling at different times. And I remember just really feeling like, hey, I have to pray for that girl. Like, instead of being jealous and feeling that, I started to pray for her success. And that was kind of like a switch in my heart that I needed of like, it's not actually, we're not in competition. I actually can hope for her best. And that's good. Like, there's enough room for all of us. And I feel like it kind of took the attention away from the feelings of bitterness and jealousy and envy. And I didn't switch to like, I actually want the best for her. So. That's good advice. Yeah, that's all I got, honestly. I think she was also mentioning specifically in friendships. Oh, I guess the mindset, I think we could look at our friendship and be like, we're in similar fields of work in different levels of success. And I would say I've never felt like jealous or anything. I think I've always just been really proud of you. So with your friends, I think it's taken the mindset of like, oh, look how much they have or what they've done. I don't have that. I think it's more so just being like, wow, that's amazing that you've accomplished that. And use that more of, try to reframe your mind and turn that into motivation and like, excitement for your friend. Then maybe like, oh, I'm not good enough or, you know, instead of turning it into a negative for yourself, you can just be happy for your other people. Yeah, I think that's great. Hi girls, a fellow Midwester here, calling just to ask about how have you, girls, I know you have some in-laws or close family members who live outside of the state. How do you guys have your kids keep up with them? What are some fun ways that you include in-laws or parents that might live out the state just in your kids' life, whether that be, you know, FaceTime's or other creative ways to include them just in your kids' life? Thanks so much, bye. That's a good one. I think FaceTime is obviously great. It's easy to fall out of that routine. I feel like sometimes having a set time for that is probably the best way to do it. That's kind of a basic one. I think there's a lot of really cute ways that we, we for them, give them the digital picture frames. And I feel like they just get sent straight to their frame so they can see videos and pictures of the kids in real time, sending pictures a lot. Also, we should do this. There's books where you can record the grandparent reading a book. So then every night, you could just play the audio book. They can push the button and it's them reading that page. And I think that's a great way to include them. You can also do like Yodo characters, like Yodo cards of the grandparents reading one. But also, they're just including them in everyday conversations. Like we talk all the time about them, like, Grandma and Papa. And like at night, we always say what we're grateful for. And we just bring them up a lot, like our whole family. And so it's just like a part of our conversation all the time. And that's something you as the parent can do a lot with the kids. So then when they see them, it's like they're picking right back up. We talk about things that we've done together. Remember that time that we went and we just explained things. Like, Grandma and Papa's house and talk about it a lot. Yeah, it's really good. Totally. I have definitely to add. I feel like that's great. Awesome. Well, that was fun. If you also would like to call in, which also we're so grateful when you do call in. And we love hearing from you. And it's such an honor. The number is 602-456-9690. We'll also put it in the show notes. Recipes we can link. Do we still want to do this? Yeah, I can say a quick one. Mine's the Jennifer Aniston salad. It doesn't have meat in it, so it keeps really good. You can add like rotisserie chicken. It's a quinoa salad. It has veggies. It takes no time to prepare. And it's just a really good like lunch or side option. My friend Kendall got me onto it and I've had it a lot in the last three years. It's just a go-to. Do it chips. It's good. I forgot what my recipe is now. I remember it. This is specific if you have a bread maker, but I have a like honey wheat bread recipe. You literally throw all the ingredients in order. It's very important that you put them in order in your bread maker. And then you literally just set the bread maker on it. It'll mix, need, let it rise and bake it all in there. And it's this honey meat bread and it's delicious. And I've made it since Matt and I got before we got married. So I remember you making that in your first apartment. It's filling bread and put some peanut butter on it. Oh gosh, glass of milk. It's delicious. Yum. Well, amazing. You guys, thank you so much for listening.
