Good day, Legacy, leaders. And it's your business buddy, Daniel. Welcome back to the entrepreneurial kids Legacy Show! And greetings from me, beautiful friends! I'm your kindness and positivity coach, Destiny here. This is the podcast where Faith, Family and big dreams come together. Well together we become the leaders of tomorrow. So, Destiny, what if I told you there was once a man who could catch lightning and used it to bring light to the whole world? Wait, I beg your pardon? A man who could catch lightning? That sounds like a superhero. It does, but this gentleman wasn't wearing a cape. His superpower came from curiosity, faith and a dream that never quit. Before we start our adventure friends, let's pause for a heart check. How's your light shining today? Are you still believing in your dream? Even when it feels far away, remember, God doesn't flat dreams by accident. He gives them on purpose. And sometimes the quiet seasons, when he's building your strength. That's right, every big change in history began with a spark. And one person brave enough to believe it mattered. And today's story is about that kind of bravery. So Daniel, is it story time? Absolutely, we'll intuitively. You know what that means friends, Destiny. Start up the time machine that's time to rewind the clock. Turning down. Three, two, one. Whoa! Once upon a time, in a small village called Smiljan, in what is now Croatia, a sweet baby boy was born during a storm. So powerful. Lightning lit up the sky like day. It was remarkable, absolutely incredible. It was the night of July 10th, 1856. And as thunder cracked outside, the midwife whispered, who'd be a child of light. His father, Milliden Tesla, was a Serbian priest, who loved words of wisdom. And his mother, Duke Amandeech, was an inventor who made tools. She also made household gadgets by hand. All this, even though she had never gone to school. Ooh, so his mom was creative. And his dad was full of faith. That's such a power for mix. It really was, a little Nikola. He grew up surrounded by faith, imagination, and the sound of thunderstorms. Someday, Mama, I'll understand lightning, so it won't be scary anymore. He wanted people to feel safe in the storm. Exactly. Even as a little boy, he had an imagination so vivid, he could build inventions in his mind, and spin them like movie pictures. He believed every idea was a spark from God, and that it was his job to use those sparks to make the world better. So curiosity was its gift, but love was its reason. Perfectly said, Destiny. That's what real inventors do. They see problems through the eyes of compassion when he grew up. He left his homeland with almost nothing. Just a notebook full of dreams and deep faith that God had a plan for him. He arrived in America full of excitement, but not everyone believed in his ideas. He worked for another famous inventor who laughed at his dreams. He actually said they would never work. Ah, that must have felt so discouraging. It did, but he didn't stop. He once said, the gift of mental power comes from God. And if we concentrate our mind on the truth, we draw this power from him. Wow, so he saw his creativity as something holy, not just small. Yes, Destiny, he believed that imagination was part of faith. Seen that it doesn't exist yet, and trusting that it can. But if people didn't believe him, how did it keep his dream alive? That's what every entrepreneur faces a big test, Destiny. You have to learn to share your vision so others can see what you see. Oh, like when you have a great idea, but you gotta explain it. So people believe in it too. Exactly, an idea stays invisible until you communicate it with clarity and courage. That's what makes it real for others. Great entrepreneurs, don't just build. They tell stories that spark belief. So he learned that faith was the dream. But communal, place it, things it to life. Perfectly said, communication does bring it to life. And once he learned to share his vision, everything changed. He found a partner named George Westinghouse. George believed in him, and together they lit up the 1893 World Fair in Chicago. They used his invention called alternating current, electricity that could travel long distances. Thousands of bulbs glowed out once. The dark night became brighter than day. People gasped. Children cheered. The world had never seen anything like it. That must have felt like magic. What a blessing. It did, but it was a magic. It was faith, curiosity, clear communication, and hard work. For thousands of years, the world went dark at night. Lit only by flickering candles and lanterns. That was the limit of human light. Then came the light bulb. But it was Nicola Tesla, who unlocked the power behind it. A system so bright that electricity could travel across cities, across countries, across generations. That night humanity took its first step into a brighter future. Even today, nearly every home in the world runs on Tesla's alternating current. His invention didn't fade with time. It still powers our lives every single day. He must have been so famous after that. You'd think so. But Tesla wasn't focused on fame. He cared about purpose. He wanted the world to use energy wisely and for the good of all people. So he was successful, but he also had integrity. Exactly. He believed that true success isn't what you keep. It's what you give. He even shared some of his inventions freely. He did this because he wanted to bless humanity. Not just build wealth. Wow, that's incredible. He really lived. What we call legacy little step. Yes, using your gifts, not just a shine. But to help others see the light too. Wow, that was such a powerful story. Wasn't it friends? It sure was. So dear friends, what did we learn today? May I go first? Of course, ladies first. We learned that curiosity and faith walk together to unlock mere cause. That's so good. And that real entrepreneurs solve problems because they care. That perseverance turns no into not yet. Oh, that's a good one. And that cute communication helps idols believe in your dream. That's right. Clear communication is important. And if I may add, integrity lasts longer than a applause. Oh, that's good, Daniel. And that one, God, puts a light in your heart. Don't mend the spirit. Not hide it. Just like Matthew, chapter five, verse 14 says, You are a light of the world. So sign little leotles cause the world needs your light. All right, legacy leotles. Do you know what time it is? It's time for the legacy. Lightning fun fact. I'm fast found! Da da da da da! Da da da da da da! Da da da da da! Alright, great leaders!
