Welcome to Cake Bites, where we go rapid fire with this week's Rule Breaker. Fast questions, real answers, zero corporate polish. I'm your host, Elizabeth Bieniek. Let's dig in. All right, we're here for Cake Bites with Sherman Moore. Sherman, are you ready? I'm ready. All right, let's do this. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I don't have a question. A pilot. Didn't have the vision or the math, but I've never lost my fascination and still go to air shows and still fly radio-controlled airplanes. So, big part of my life. What is a piece of advice you would give your younger self? Just to chill. I was so wound up and things were going to be okay. That would be my advice. Just relax, enjoy the ride a little bit. It's going to be all right. Those are words I think we can all live by. What is one daily habit that you think has contributed to your success? We do a morning mini workout. The instant I get up, slide the push-ups, stretches, ankle rotations, before I even have a topic. And it sets the tone for the whole. Awesome. I think that makes a lot of sense. Make it mini so you can keep it consistent. That's fantastic. Do you have a favorite quote or mantra? It varies from season to season in life. But for a long time now, my mantra is, I remember my future And it keeps me focused on the life I want to look back on when I 95 or 100 years old How do you pay wisdom forward Well, primarily by feeding into my kids. I have two daughters, a granddaughter, grandson on the way. So the best way I know how to pay wisdom forward is to take care of my girls and not be an idiot around them, to show them some wisdom so they can then convey it to somebody else. All right. And this is Cake on Tuesday. So I have to ask, what is your favorite kind of cake? One of those rare people that can identify a cake mix, by the way. So my favorite cake, unequivocally, since childhood, has been the Duncan Hines chocolate cake. and the milk chocolate icing. So my mom makes one for me every time I go see her. It's there waiting. That's awesome. Thank you, Sherman, so much for joining us for Cake Bites. Thank you, Elizabeth. It's been a pleasure. Thanks for joining another Cake on Tuesday celebration of beautiful disruption. Please share it, review it, and find more innovative stories at podcast.cakeontuesday.com. I'm Elizabeth Bieniek. Be bold. Stay curious. Now go have some cake.
