This is an I Heart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. Welcome to Meet Eaters 12 and 26 presented by Moltremobile and OnXMaps. 12 of Meet Eaters biggest and baddest hunts from the last year released throughout 2026. These are long form episodes so you get more of what you love. The first one up is my Bated Bear Hunt in Manitoba. If you've ever wondered what a Bated Bear Hunt is like, you'll love this episode. My favorite part was watching a younger bear spend an hour trying to figure out how to get a creatively hung beaver carcass down from a tree. Check it out now on Meet Eaters YouTube channel and be on the lookout for more 12 and 26 in the coming months. Welcome to Meet Eaters trivia. The only game show where conservation always wins. I'm your host Spencer Newarth and today we're joined by Janice Brody Randall, Marge, Alex, Roman and Corey. This is a 10 round quiz show with questions from Meet Eaters 4 verticals which are hunting, fishing, conservation and cooking and there is a prize. I'm going to give you $100 to the conservation organization of the winners choosing. Spencer, what's up? Do you have everyone on your t-shirt? What do you got going on here? I like it. Oh, thank you. My wife got it for me at Goodwill. Rob Van Dam was my favorite rassler of all time when I was a kid. He was from Battle Creek, Michigan, Yani. I know that I tell. Not far from where I go. RVD is finishing move. It was the five star frog splash. It's slightly younger than me. So RVD sure. Nobody can see it on camera. Excuse your imagination. It's got like the skeleton of a dragon with a big peace sign. That's a bad ass, dude. Yanyang sign. There you go. For the stat of the week this week, we're looking at Yani's shocking overtime resume. 47% of his victories have happened in overtime, which is by the highest among the crew. The next closest is Steve with 29% of his victories happening in overtime. Yannis, you're just the cardiac kid going to overtime all the time to earn those victories. Yeah, I don't think it's not like a real plus stat. No. If a coach and an opposing team was looking at that, he's not like, I need that guy. Wait, though. You love shooting animals in overtime, like going. What does that mean? A week through all the buzzer at the buzzer. At the buzzer. You just mean like you're on a five day hunt. You kill him on day seven. What's his winning percentage, though, in like does he? He's good. He's good in overtime as well, but he has to go to overtime a lot. Yeah. You're earning those victories on the 11th question. I'm just happy. I don't win as much as Brody, because I feel like my wins are, I celebrate them. Everybody else celebrates them. Brody wins. Everybody's like, hmm, we forget. How do you think I feel about that? I know. Are you even celebrating them anymore? You're just like, I'm going to get back to the computer. Another episode. Shades Drawn Door Clothes, bro. We have an IFAQ. If you have an IFAQ, for us, send it to trivia at the meateater.com with the subject line IFAQ. This one is an FAQ. We had a lot of feedback on the episode this week that's only like five hours old from Adam Schroeder. Genuinely curious, why the disgust for the outdoor boys from Brody and Yannis. I feel he has a wide reach and inspires outdoor interest. People thought you were too dismissive of Luke and I. Yannis and I weren't caught. I'm not going to speak for Yannis. I was commenting on the outdoor boys at all from what little I've seen of that guy. I think he's great. I was commenting on the fact that I knew something about social media that I wish I had no exposure to. It was a commentary on social media. The IFAQ is a commentary on Brody. I just stained for. I was rolling commenting on the fact that I felt like you put a media question under. Are you new here, Yannis? No. I do that off. Just forgetful. I guess I always thought that when you had a movie question you're like this is under the media. No, I should. For what I've seen about that guy he's great. He goes outside, does cool shit, spends time with his kids. It wasn't that. Listers and comments will be happy. It's dominating the YouTube comments really now. Probably five or six emails. I'm going to have to issue a public apology how they just did. Sorry to the outdoor boys fans out there from Brody and Yannis. They really mean it. We have some housekeeping. A big announcement. The fourth annual Mediter Trivia tournament is almost here. There will be a three episode series starting February 11 and featuring all the trivia heavy hitters. Heavy hitters like Steve Brody and Randall just like last year will use 30 questions to crown our Mediter Trivia champion. So just a few weeks away. Well, that will be the champion for 20. We're don't worry about the year that's going to get weird. It's just our fourth annual. For you honest, I went in an overtime victory. We had Brody win one. We've had Randall win one. Yeah, I think I'm still the reigning champion. If I remember correctly. Who's the Gibroni that's going again? Well, we'll have a few Gibronis there. But our Gibroni champion right now, I think was was a you court. You won the Gibroni championship last year. He'll be in the tournament. He'll be there. But our last Gibroni episode was won by Sarah. Team Coyle. You're going to have to fight her for the next title. The shall be indexed for today is a four. So our winners should get eight correct answers. And with that, we're on to the game of trivia. Play the drop, Phil. Look, I need to know what I stay in the wind. Everything. How's that? Just tend to win everything. Game on, suckers! Question one, the topic is fishing. This first great question is via John Mertz. And as always, it will be multiple choice. So I know John. Do you? Tell me about John Mertz. I think John Mertz is going to make a Pike Spirin D. Oh, well, that's a fitting question he has here. He's connected to the Latvian community of Minneapolis, Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to Montana and Minnesota, this is the recommended minimum amount of ice for a person to ice fish. Is it two inches, four inches, six inches, or eight inches? What a relevant question. John, is he on the while I tour or not the while I tour the for hat? No. John Mertz, the Minneapolis Latvian. According to Montana and Minnesota, this is the recommended minimum amount of ice for a person to ice fish. Slow year for Pike Spirin around these parts this year. Oh, 60 degrees outside. Two inches, four inches, six inches, or eight inches. I feel like you know this. He didn't even need the choices. Actually, I turn around and I was like, oh, the number I would have picked is not there. Okay. Hmm. First one number. Interesting. According to Montana and Minnesota, this is the recommended minimum amount of ice for a person to ice fish. Two inches, four inches, six inches, or eight inches. Is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. John, as it says, four. Roman, six. Corey, four. Randall, six. Alex, four. Marge, four. Brody, four. The correct answer is four. No. Think about half of our room. Got that one right. They say four inches of clear ice is enough to hold you and your gear. It's five to seven inches for a snowmobile. Seven to eight inches for a UTV or ATV. Nine to twelve inches for a car. Twelve to seventeen inches for a truck. And twenty plus inches for a truck plus a permanent ice shack. What were you going to say, Brody? Three inches? That's what I'd heard too. Three inches would probably do you okay. Montana and Minnesota say wait for four. It's better to be safe. Yeah, I think they're giving you a little question. They're so they don't get their cover in there. You know what? Question two, the topic is conservation. This tool, which is named after the man who invented it in 1911, detects and measures radiation. Cory and Randall quick to answer Brody joining them. Cory changing his. This is such a Randall question. This tool, which is named after the man who invented it in 1911. Detects and measures learning. Yeah, well, you're the only one in the room. Spelling is spelling won't matter unless it's so far off that, you know, it becomes something else. I don't think I'll be able to spell this. This tool, which is named after the man who invented it in 1911, detects and measures radiation. Yani, do you like your answer? No way. What's the category here? Conservation. I guess you're going to explain that. Sure. What was the Shelby index? Four on this one. Hmm. I think so. I should probably keep thinking it through. I just kind of wrote down the first thing that came to mind, but Brody, do you have this one right? Measures, radiation, and so on. Cory, do you have this one right? No. Margin Roman have blank white. Was his last name radiologist? This tool, which is named after the man who invented it in 1911, detects and measures radiation. Brody. Yes. Way to go, Janice. It's in the depths of my brain somewhere. It is weird. It's not going to come. It's everybody ready. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Janice says Geiger counter. Roman without an answer, Cory, without an answer, Randall says Geiger counter. Alex, Rockin, Marge, without an answer, Brody says Geiger. The correct answer is Geiger counter. What was that? Yeah. Hans Geiger invented the Geiger counter at the University of Manchester. The most radioactive place in America is the Hanford nuclear site in Eastern Washington where plutonium was created for atomic bombs. The site was chosen for its remote location that wasn't too close to people, highways, or railroads. It's home to America's single largest environmental cleanup that's been going on since 1989. It's Hanford. Hanford. Hanford. Okay. Hanford. H-A-N-F-O-R-D. I think I saw they have like 10,000 employees dedicated to cleaning that up. Big one. Wow. Question three, the topic is Woodsmanship. This next great question is via Sean Vitruba. Despite its name, the tick-borne illness, Rocky Mountain Blank Blank is most common in the South. Our room has the confidence back. Everyone quick to answer this one. You need to fill in those last two blanks. Despite its name, the tick-borne illness, Rocky Mountain Blank Blank is most common in the South. Turkey season, whenever I got one and things crawling on me, I'm like, is this the one? Yeah. Okay. And then there's like, when we were kids, there used to be like one thing you might end up right now. You're like, well, could get this, this, this, or this. Well, we're fortunate to be like in a part of the country that has the least of the tick diseases. You're right. If you're in New England or the South or great lakes, that'd be really worried. Spooky. Despite its name, the tick-borne illness, Rocky Mountain Blank Blank is most common in the South. Does everyone have this one? Right. You got it where are the Numa base layers? There you go. Corey, was that bear, that bear you shot last year? Was that thing covered in tick? No, no. I mean, there might have been something that I couldn't find, but where bear I killed a couple of years before that, killed them and then hours later, you could just watch his hide and watch his ticks just crawl out. That's gross. Yeah. Different part of the state though. Yeah. Does everybody ready? Yeah. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Janice says spotted fever. Roman, without an answer, Corey and Randall say spotted fever. Alex says Lyme disease. Marge. Spotted fever. Brody spotted fever. The correct answer is spotted fever. The three states with the most cases of Rocky Mountain spotted fever are North Carolina, Oklahoma and Tennessee. It is transmitted by dog ticks and wood ticks and does not spread from person to person. The symptoms include a non-itchy rash fever, headaches, sore throat and sensitivity to light. You don't explain why it's Rocky Mountain. I don't know, but I assume it's found in the Rocky. And the infectious disease laboratory in Hamilton, Montana, the Irr and Valley. Oh, yeah. They have like that whole lab is dedicated to that disease, right? A lot of, I think there's a lot of different diseases that they study. It's quite common work there, I think. Four. The topic is hunting. This animal has been featured on Winchester's logo since 1919. Brody quick to answer. He is quick, but only one. That's what popped into my head. This is question four and the topic is hunting. This animal has been featured on Winchester's logo since 1919. I don't know. How specific. Do you need this answer? I think you can just say. He's a spillo. That's gonna be a Spencer. If you thought it was a channel catfish, you could just say catfish. That was going to be my answer. Same exact example. No, no, no, no. I was going to use the dog that we always use. Despite its name, the tick-borne illness. Oh, I'm sorry. Ron, this next one. This animal has been featured on Winchester's logo since 1919. Yani, do you have this one right? I believe so. Randall, do you have this one right? Randall, I was just talking about Winchester Model 70s. Randall slightly slower to answer than I expected. Yeah. It got guru. I know. I know. Is it okay for me to put out there that I'm selling a special Model 70 out there? And if you're interested, you can. What if I said no? Shoot me to the end. Well, then I wouldn't mention what I'm selling. Alex, do you have this one right? I went down to Jack O'Connor Rabbit Hole yesterday. Okay. Oh, that's interesting because I was talking about Jack O'Connor. Were we talking about Jack O'Connor? On Trip, yeah. Last week, you had a first edition of Jack O'Connor book. But then yesterday I was talking to a fellow whose dad at the right page of like 78 is going. She puttin in the Northwest Territories this year and I was like, dude, he might go with him. I said, you and your dad should read some Jack O'Connor. I read some Duncan Galkress, read some Tony Russ. I feel like it's another great doll. She just get really comfortable taking wild shots. The stories I used to love that O'Connor right was on him and his old lady which is a drive down into old Mexico to sheep on. Yeah. Like, go. Cooz dear, huh? Yeah. Yani Wilcalibre Winchester you selling. It's a 6555 Sweden. Yeah. I just, you know, as much as I like that gun, I love that caliber. You know, it's one of Chuck Hawks' favorite calibers. I love how popular it is in Europe and all that good stuff. It's just been sittin' in my gun cabinet and it hasn't been hunted with for quite some time. And it's just another thing and I like to get rid of things that I'm not using. Why don't you just give it to one of your girls? Because they have sick horses to shoot. You know, they should work up to that. Could you give a discount to Randall if he wanted that thing? Possibly. Okay. It's not powerful enough for Randall. I reached out to my gun broker contacts. I feel like we have a pretty decent idea of the market right now. Oh. I'm not really in that market. Okay. Again, we're a question for. This animal has been featured on Winchester's logo since 1919. Is everybody ready? Yeah. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Yannis says horse. Oh. Roman says wild turkey. Cory says deer. Randall says deer. Alex Feasant, Marge. Horse, Brody, horse. That's where the correct answer is horse. Oh my goodness. Randall. I was still thinking about that. Well, what I was doing is I was picturing boxes of ammo. And in my mind, I'm like, am I picturing Winchester's logo or am I picturing the Winchester XP deer season? A lot of ammo. I couldn't decide because that does have antlers. I see it now. Love it. The tricky thing I feel about the Winchester is there's a rider, right? There's a man. There wasn't any. There was the art. So if I said a homo sapiens, we're not going to give it to you if you said human. Bill is going to show us that painting. The Winchester logo is called the horse and rider featuring a man cradling a Winchester rifle atop a galloping horse. He was painted by Philip Goodwin, who was commissioned to make the logo after the end of World War I. Now, in that painting, it has some like sagebrush and a bison skull, but the bison skull didn't make it into the logo. The logo only shows the man and the horse. So bison, not correct, despite it being in Philip's original painting. That's what Yarnis used to look like when he's hunting with a six by a sweet. I wouldn't like to have one of those rifles that he's packing. I'd keep if I saw it if I had a like a what is that an eight and nine or yeah, Randall 1894. I got one in mind, but it's that for a little what Randall know this. They were all side ejects, you know, but then for a few years, they made a top ejection. That's the one I have. People hated it. That's cool. Right. So when your scope mount had to be off to the side. So you look really tactical with your offset optics. My task. My task. Oh, is it like fully off to the side? Oh, yeah, just like kind of opposite. They're the amount of it like 10 or 11 o'clock. Mm-hmm. Super weird. Bill is showing us that painting right now. You can see it over on our YouTube channel. I'll be honest, the horse didn't even cross my mind. Wow. What would have been after deer if you had to choose another something? I don't know. It was lost. Pretty iconic logo. It's been around for over a hundred years. Starring with the animals and trying to figure it out from there. It's the wrong way to do it. Question five, the topic is cooking. This is our listener question of the week, which was won by Will Britt for sending this great question. Will is going to get a board game signed by the crew. If you want a chance to win the listener question of the week, then send your question to trivia at the Mediter.com. The topic is cooking. This 12 letter word is defined as, quote, to restore a dehydrated food to its original consistency or texture by adding a liquid such as water. 12 letters. 12 letter word. I'm going to recount just to make sure I have that. Still 12 letters. This 12 letter word is defined as, to restore a dehydrated food to its original consistency or texture by adding a liquid such as water. I'm going to count the letters and I count the 12 letters. I count the letters and I count the 12 letters. They're the only two players with their white boards down. 12 letter words defined as, to restore a dehydrated food to its original consistency or texture by adding a liquid. How many letters does rehydrate have? I don't know. I'm not going to go with that. Rehydration? It's closer. Much closer. It is. This question five, between listener question of the week, what was the right number of letters? It doesn't use your imagination. We'll get a scoreboard update from Phil the engineer after this. If you spell it rehydration with an S H H U N, the I H H N, two N's, 12 letter word. To restore a dehydrated food to its original consistency or texture by adding a liquid such as water. I was fine with the ice, missing out on the ice answer, but this game is not liking it now that I got the gun question wrong. But you think you have this one correct? Pretty sure. But we'll guess we'll find out. It's everybody ready. This is going to make me mad. As soon as Alex is done writing, we're going to flip over the whiteboards. I might show the tear. How many letters have got Alex? I don't know how I got it. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Janis says reconstitute. Roman without an answer, Cory without an answer, Randall reconstitute, Alex, liquefocation, March without an answer, Brody without an answer, Randall and Yani got it. It's reconstitute. Things that you might reconstitute include dehydrated fruits and veggies, freeze dried meals and instant coffee. Danielle Pruitt says dried mushrooms should be a pantry staple because they're so easy to reconstitute and because you're left with a mushroom broth afterwards. All right, Phil. We're halfway through the game of trivia. Let's see the scoreboard. Oh, half a question. Perfect. Five. We've got Roman with zero points. Alex Plakta has one. Cory has two Randall and Maggie are tied up with three points. Bernie Henderson has four and will he go to overtime today? We'll find out. It's Janis Patel's first place with five points in a perfect game. Trying to buck the trend, Phil. Okay. Just going to win it in regulation. And March pointed out she is tied with Randall. First time ever. That's great. First time ever. Yeah. Wow. You're doing great. Thanks. Yeah. And Randall is tortured. I'm fine. I just, it's not really fun anymore. I'm fine. I just hope to get a couple more good jokes in. If I can get Janis to have four more times as an episode, I'll be happy. It's anybody's game. Anybody's game. Welcome to Meet Eaters 12 and 26 presented by Maltreem Mobile and on X Maps. 12 of Meet Eaters biggest and baddest hunts from the last year released throughout 2026. As the queen, queen of social media is about time for my ASGM all series. So I'm recording this on my phone and then I'm going to use Kanva to edit and upload it. Oh, sorry babes. Oh, make that whisper when I edit it. Anyways, Kanva makes social media edits so easy. I'll upload this in a minute. Kanva, make everything. I got it. How do I stop recording, Darren? Question six. The topic is wildlife. Name two of the three states with the highest population of alligators. Alligators. How about two states that don't have it? Two of the three. Two of the three states with the highest population of alligators. Go with what you know. Still pointed out this is our 200th episode of trivia. It took us 200 episodes to have question about alligator populations. So we can only put two. Just put two of me put a third one, you get it wrong. Name two of the three states with the highest population of gators. Y'all is still thinking this might ruin his perfect game. Spencer, does it feel like you've written over 2000 trivia questions? It does. It does feel like that. But thankfully our listeners are great about sending examples. So the show is going to go forever. Name two of the three states with the highest population of alligators. Y'all need still thinking. How many states do you have down, Y'all? I have three. Hmm. Wow. Randall is going to make a joke to make you laugh. No. I was just going to reiterate the point that you made earlier that if you put down three, you get it wrong. Mm-hmm. You didn't want to remind me. Yeah, I was actually going to be considerate. You're headed the right direction, Mars. Name two of the three states with the highest population of alligators. Hmm. Y'all need to. Yeah. Do you have your two picked out? No, you wait not waiting on you. Brody, I think. You all need to. I think I know this because you shot an alligator. Didn't we eat it? Somebody ate it. Somebody did. I brought it to, but I'm not ready. Somebody brought some to the old office and we ate like fried alligator. Hmm. I'm like, making a... Oh, my buddy shot one of my brothers. One of your buddies. Okay. That memory on Mars. That's why she's tied with Randall. It's everybody ready. Very chicken-like. Yeah. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Y'all know this? It says Louisiana. Florida. You crossed out Mrs. Cippy. Roman says Florida. Louisiana. Florida. Florida, Georgia. I forgot about Louisiana. Florida, Georgia. Florida, Louisiana. Alex, Florida, Louisiana. Marge, Florida, Louisiana. She crossed out Texas and Georgia. Brody says Florida, Louisiana. The three states are Louisiana, Florida and Texas. Yeah. Nice. Oh, wonderful. That's a long coast. That's a long coast. Yeah. Florida is not up there. Louisiana has the most gators in America with an estimated population north of two million. Who's that? That's followed by Florida at 1.3 million. Texas at 400,000. Georgia at 200,000. South Carolina at 100,000. Alabama at 70,000. And Mississippi at 32,000. Phil has a picture here of their population density by states. And then he gets his stragglers that have made it up into North Carolina, Arkansas, and Oklahoma with 100. Oh, my goodness. Oh, Oklahoma. Louisiana, Florida and Texas. Question seven, the topic is cooking. This type of clam, which Sirius Eats says is, quote, tender and beefy, is named after its sharp shell that can slice hands and feet. This is question seven. Topic is cooking. Brody has his answer. Yannis has his answer. This type of clam, which Sirius Eats says is, tender and beefy, is named after its sharp shell that can slice hands and feet. Randall, do you have this one right? I do. Roman, do you have this one right? I do. I think I'm telling you Roman. Have you ever caught one of these, Roman? I had some in Baja two years ago for some local fishermen and they stuck with me. That's why. I feel better about this answer. This type of clam. You mean they poisoned you? I was going to say, which Sirius Eats excited to try it in their first time in a fight. Sirius Eats says, our tender and beefy is named after the sharp shell that can slice hands and feet. They're got poison by oysters and Baja ones. Ooh. I got poison by oysters. Close to the death I've ever been. In Seattle. Really? Really? What do you think the problem were, the time that you guys got poisoned? Were they like the toxic season, a table full of people like this. Eating oysters and I got the bad one. Just like this. Look at the draw man. This was at an event where they had like a big thing of ice and guys just shucking oysters and I ate like 200. I'd be like, if you'd like to stack 30 beers. I've never been sicker in my life. Must have had a bad beer last night. Yeah. No, it was bad. This type of clam, which Sirius Eats says is tender and beefy. It's named after its sharp shell that can slice hands and feet. Is everybody ready? Wow. Jesus Christ. Good to wait on Cory. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Yannis says razor Roman razor. Cory without an answer. Randall razor. Alex says tender beefy clam. March without an answer. Brody says razor. The correct answer is razor clam. It's always the simplest answer. There are Pacific razor clams and Atlantic razor clams, which are found up and down the coast of North America. Pacific razors are best served steamed, fried or in chowder or ceviche while Atlantic razors are best served steamed, grilled or seared. Sirius Eats says they taste like quote kissing a mermaid. Question eight, the topic is fishing. This next great question is via Sam Blumenfeld. Huck and Jim catch a catfish quote as big as a man while floating this river in adventures of Huckleberry F. Oh no. Really? Yes Randall. Do you still have your perfect game, Yannis? Yeah. Okay. Question eight may ruin it with a literary question. Huck and Jim catch a catfish as big as a man while floating this river in adventures of Huckleberry F. I've read the book. Oh, I was thinking the same thing as Randall. I just wasn't going to say it. It's practically a main character. Yeah. I don't think I'm giving much away. No, you're not. You're not. You're not. The catfish is a main character. The river. Huck Finn was way better than the Tom Sawyer book. I might open him. Yeah, but nobody wrote a good song called Huck Finn. I'm not even very familiar with it. It was better than Stride. I'm fixing to read the book James this year in Percival Everett, which won a bunch of awards and it's supposed to be the same story but written from Jim's perspective instead of Huck's perspective. Huck and Jim catch a catfish as big as a man while floating this river in adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Yannis, do you like your answer? Yeah. This is question eight. Shouldn't you think he keeps a perfect game going. What should it be? I don't know. But based on Yannis earlier protests about the outdoor boys, thought he'd make a fuss about this. I've seen Russian concert three times, Randall. Really? Oh, yeah. Great show. The only two bands I've seen in concert three times are Pearl Jam and Poison. Poison? Yeah. A bit of group of guys in high school. We just went to all kinds of Poison shows. Yeah. The roadie, do you have this one right? No, no. There are other people that want to weigh more than that. Sure. Poison? In light of me, what is kind of music is Poison? Bad medicine, you don't remember that. Bad air rock. I saw him open for kiss. Okay. River Bend. Maybe I heard it. I don't think I can tell you. Is it cherry pie? Is that Poison? No, that's not. That's a world. Bad medicine. Bad medicine. That was at the rock never stopped. That's what I was saying. You only think I know about Brett Michaels. You're like bad medicine. It's Poison. Every rose has. It's the worst. I need a poison. Okay. I've talked to her. I've never heard it before. Birdon, baby, birdon, baby. Just needed a. No. Every rose has its thorns. Just the past. Oh, yeah. Of course. I've made his career. Definitely a furry voice. There he is. There he is. There's a lot of that you love rock and blood. Oh, yeah. Oh, no. No. I can't get on the whole reality thing. I can't get into bravo stuff. It's just not made. Yeah, but it was like 20 years ago. No, not 20 years ago. Probably 15 years ago. So it's just different. You know, when VH1 is making a dating show with Brett Michaels, how do you not watch that? Do you know MTV played their last video ever the other day? Shuddered it. Wow. MTV is gone. I didn't use that. All right. You mean like music video? We're just like they're like they ended it. I think they're the last thing they played. I mean, music. Wow. Like it was irrelevant by the time I was of age to watch MTV. Then it was just like the jackass channel. And I remember. He spent a lot of time. It's a 120 minutes in college. It's a good show. It's everybody ready. Again, Huck and Jim catch a catfish as big as a man while floating this river in adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Yana says Mississippi, Roman Mississippi, Corey and Randall and Alex. The whole room says Mississippi. Everybody got it. Correct. It's the Mississippi. The duo is using a skinned rabbit as bait. And they catch a giant catfish. They say it measured six feet, two inches long and weighed over 200 pounds. That would make it 57 pounds heavier than the current world record blue cat inside the belly of the cat. They find a brass button, spool and other garbage. Huck says they eat it and that quote his meats as white as snow and makes for a good fry. Hmm. Bill, let's get a scoreboard update with two questions to go. Wow. Roman and Alex and Corey all have three points. Maggie has five. Randall has six. Brody has seven. The honest has eight and he is in first place with a perfect game still the pressure mounts. Have you had a perfect game before? I don't know. If he can get. It doesn't mean that pressure to expensive. You can get 10 right. Mediter will double the donation to a thousand dollars. I think I would remember. Maybe one. But I'm not sure. Question nine, the topic is haunting. This next great question is via Ann Kettenmeyer. Besides Antarctica, what is the only continent without a native deer species? Besides Antarctica, what is the only continent without a native deer species? I'm just going to see if I can be Randall now. I'm cheering for you, Marge. Yeah. You pointed out so many times that we were tied. You haven't emphasized now that I'm beating her. That's less fun. Question nine, the time is haunting. Got one. Besides Antarctica, what is the only continent without a native deer species? This one is tricky. Oh yeah, it's a good question. Perfect game on the line for Janice. How many continents are there? Nine. Use your imagination. I can't tell. Oh seven. Yeah. There are seven continents. Continence, continents. You know that song? I don't know that song. Keep going. I'm pretty sure that's a song. Can you look that up? Yeah, sure. There are seven continents. There is a Randall seven continents. You should make a song. Does that song teach you other things? Or just I think there's some way that you can squeeze all the names into that melody. And it's. You get a film you play it. Should I play it? Yeah. Oh, one way. Is it? No, it's coming. That's just the intro. This isn't the one I'm thinking of, but I'm just going to let it fly. We make it flagged some sort of copy. I think I'm not going to keep playing. I've taken over your show Spencer. What is it? The Wiggles? Is that it wasn't the Wiggles. I was some other random. Yeah. It's like Mary had a little lamb. There are seven continents. Besides Antarctica, what is the only continent without a native deer species? I don't have any answer. Yeah. I don't have any answer. Yeah. Oh, we're waiting on you and Roman. Johnny. It's a tough question. I know I kind of feel bad. No. I hope he gets it right. What do you feel bad about? Just like if Johnny blew his perfect game. Now I'm kind of cheering for him at this point. Oh, thanks. I'm out of it. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Janice says Africa, Roman South America, Cori, Australia, Randall, South America, Alex, Australia, Marge, Australia, Brody, Australia. The correct answer is Australia. Yeah. Janice has lost his perfect game. I heard you get a fast, Australian fellow. That's all we're one of their natives. Besides of its, because of its isolation from other land masses, Australia has no native deer, monkeys, cats, or bears. And their only native canine, the dingo, was brought there 3,000 years ago by humans. Australia does have six established species of non-native deer that live there today, though. The fellow is among them. All right. Here's the correct answer. Review so far. One is four inches of ice. Two. Geiger counter. Three. Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Four. Horse. Five. reconstitute. Six. Louisiana. Florida. Texas. Seven. Razor claim. Eight. Mississippi River. Nine. Australia. Bill, let's get one more scoreboard update before we go. Well, it's like, Janice might be headed to OT one more time. Oh, right. Coming up to me. Brody, and Janice, they have eight points of peace. Hold out. We should point out that Randall and Maggie are talking. Yeah. Same with Corey and Alex. Type of third. The road is on an island. Australia, they call it question 10. The topic is wildlife. This is the official bird of Maryland, which has the state's biggest city in its name. This is the official bird of Maryland, which has the state's biggest city in its name. Oh. Janice and Brody are currently tied with eight points of peace. Misspelled this like crazy, I think. Hmm. And they both now have an answer. Brody, do you have this one right? Boy, if I don't. I'm going to get made fun of, I feel like. Janie, do you have this one right? I believe so. Randall, do you have this one right? Oh, yes. Okay. Oh, yes. Like you will have defeated Marge. I know. Why was we going to point that out? Marge. You know this. Hmm. Yeah, don't you do. You're watching Brody hands too at the same time. This is the official bird of Maryland, which has the state's biggest city in its name. Is everybody ready? Oh, big city in its name. That's right. Yeah. The name of the bird is wrong. Yeah. I'm going to tell you that. You just got to not a bird. I'm glad you're coming. What is it? A mammal? A lizard? That's a reptile. I actually had no idea what it was. I was just going off of a college football name. It is. It's the right association though. Yeah. It's the official bird of Maryland, which has the state's biggest city in its name. Go with what you know. The biggest city of Maryland is in the name of the bird. It's in there, man. It's a fun question. Thank you. Cory, do you have this one right? No, I don't know Maryland. Like, I don't know. Razor clams. Okay. Maryland. Maryland. Sounds like a start with the biggest city in Maryland. You know the biggest city in Maryland. Sounds like a theme park. And then associate a bird with it. I think I know the capital of Maryland. I can't even name a city in Maryland. Yes, you can. What do they do in Maryland? No, but you're on the right. Nobody knows. You're on the right. You're on the right. You're on the right. Very happy. What else? No, there's a lot of water. Randall is trying to nudge Alex and the right to write. Like, he likes to tie. Spend three. Even for third place. I don't know about that. Is everybody ready? No. Yeah, let's do this. I'm not going to hold anybody up. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Yannis says the Baltimore Orioles. Oh, my God. Roman says Washington Cardinal. You know, every other mascot associated with the state of Maryland. Randall says Baltimore Oriole. Alex says Raven. And before that, he must have had Tarapin. Is that what he had? Yeah. Yeah. Marge without an answer. Brody says Baltimore Oriole. The correct answer is the Baltimore Oriole. Do you know that bird? Yes. Maggie. Yes, I do. The Baltimore Oriole is named after its black and orange plumage, which matches the colors of the on the coat of arms of Lord Baltimore, who this city is named after. Of course, the most famous Baltimore Orioles of all time are Cal Rip, Canjoon, Yarius, and Brooks Robinson. They like eating orange slices. If you live where you are, put the color mostly. All right, we're headed to overtime with Brody and Yannis, who have nine correct answers. Classic Yannis. Time right there. Yeah. Boy, this would be poetic. The overtime topic is fishing. I mean, before you're shadowing the world record Burbit way. Oh, holy cow. That's a tough question. What did the world record Burbit way? Go to one decimal point before your answer. But if you're closest to the nearest whole number, we're going to add that extra $100 donation today. What does a big old Burbit way? What did the world record Burbit way? Wait, what are we doing? Point something. I just got an invitation to go Burbit fishing. We're at with my old Burbit fishing partner in the Great White North. Okay. Great North white North of Minnesota. They have ice up there. Little little limb lining. What did the world record Burbit way? We're down to Brody and Yannis, and the whole room is going to play a long Roman because if somebody can get it closest to the nearest whole number, we're going to add an extra $100 donation today. Are you going to go, Randall? I'd love to. I just need to figure out a way to make this company pay for it. I already did it, Burbit, showing Alaska. It's going to be a tough sell, Randall. I bet we I bet the way we do. It's way more exciting. Bring a can out record Burbit way. Jets. Yannis has his answer. Brody has his answer. It's the rest of the room. We can out. I want you to read some. Jay Seaman's size fishing program. I was very entertained by where he went around Lake of the Woods trying to catch eight species. I feel like. Oh, wow. One of them was the Burbit. Although there they call him pout. They didn't even drop in the eel. They have the eel pout festival in Marge's great home state. Is everybody ready? They do. Go ahead and reveal your answers. Roman says 28.5. Corey says 26.3. And says 9.1. Alex says 67. Marge says 61.8. Are two players remaining? We have Yannis saying 20.1. And Brody saying 23.6. Oh, right on the other side. The correct answer is 25. No! No! No! Making Brody a good one. He was two pounds off of the correct answer. Corey was one pound off. The correct answer 25.13. It was caught in Lake Defenbaker in Saskatchewan in 2010. The angler, Sean Conrad, was using a whole hearing. Sean and his twin brother hold 10 IGFA records, including the world record for Rainbow Trout. That was caught in the same lake in 2009. Go listen to episode 792 of Media to Radio for an interview with Sean. Oh, right. Which I think you were on that episode. Yeah, I remember that big Rainbow Trout, I think. Oh, I wasn't paying attention. I was saying about something else. Brody defeated him in a way. Brody, where's the $500 going today? Our buddy, Cal, was in DC yesterday in the hallowed halls of Congress fighting for us. So we'll donate to BHA. BHA getting $500 from Mediter and Brody. Brody on kind of a heater going into the Mediter tournament. Randle, you nervous. That's not where I want to be. No, I want to go into the tournament at a low point. That's sort of how I've been thinking about our Randles just going to blend in. I might have to throw a few games between now and then. Okay. So we'll be the number one. I'll leave those questions. Coming up soon in a few weeks. Join us next week for more Mediter trivia, the only game show. We're conservation of his wins. Yeah, Spencer himself Dakota. He's the host.
