Summary
Hour 2 of The Dan Patrick Show features Mike Golic Sr. discussing Super Bowl 60, where Seattle's defense dominated New England. The show covers post-Super Bowl analysis, NBA expansion plans for Vegas and Charlotte, and Valentine's Day scheduling conflicts with next year's Super Bowl.
Insights
- Defensive excellence and ball control (not flashy plays) are the true determinants of Super Bowl success, as evidenced by Seattle's dominant performance
- The 2024 QB draft class (Drake May, Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels) would likely redraft similarly despite early-season struggles, suggesting evaluation timelines need extending beyond Year 1
- NFL halftime shows serve as international marketing tools for league expansion, not stadium entertainment, explaining the Bad Bunny selection despite domestic unfamiliarity
- Franchise relocation identity issues (keeping team names/history when moving cities) create fan alienation and historical confusion that expansion teams should avoid
- Running back committee usage in Super Bowl was underutilized despite two-headed monster availability, indicating potential game-planning inefficiencies
Trends
NFL expansion strategy focusing on Vegas and Charlotte as primary markets with infrastructure investment already underwayPost-Super Bowl quarterback performance regression becoming predictable pattern (CJ Stroud, Drake May comparisons)Defense-first playoff football gaining validation as passing-heavy offenses struggle in high-pressure situationsSports entertainment scheduling conflicts with cultural holidays creating relationship/fandom tension for fansFranchise history preservation becoming fan expectation when teams relocate or expand (Sonics/Thunder, Oilers/Texans precedent)International sports marketing through halftime entertainment as league globalization strategyRookie offensive lineman performance under playoff pressure exposing draft evaluation gapsRun game abandonment in close games despite statistical evidence of effectiveness in clock control

Apparently a small number of medals have been breaking and they're investigating the matter. They are also saying to athletes don't jump in them. So in other words, don't celebrate because these medals are very fragile. One athlete said that his metal fell in the snow and broken too. The Winter Olympics organizing committee told CBS news. It was taking the issue seriously, fully recognizing the significance these medals hold for the athletes. Wouldn't that be the top priority when you're making these medals, making sure these medals stay together? Yeah, Paulie. Aren't all the medals already produced and on the property, what can they do to fix this? I don't think you can do anything. I don't know what plan B would be. Yes, Todd. I heard glue and Scotch. I'm out of skyrocket like 450% in the area. That would be funny if somebody put out, you know, Scotch tape around their metal, put it out on social media. We need some glue. Who needs tape? You got glue. You got glue. Seaton, pull question from hour one. And what are we going to go with an hour to? What will you remember this Super Bowl for? Sam Darnold, Kenneth Walker, Jr. The third Patriots offense or bad bunny right now bad bunny is winning with 33% of that vote. All the other options are pretty closely tied though. Sam Darnold and Kenneth Walker, Jr. The third went to Disneyland and there was a, I don't know, video or photo of Sam Darnold in one of those little T cups. And he's with Walker. They're spilling out of it. I don't know what he gets paid to go to Disneyland, but I think in the moment, if I would say to Sam Darnold, you want to give the money back and just go home. He probably would have said yes. But you know, that's where you prior to the game, they talked to certain players on the teams. And hey, if you win, we want to get you together or, you know, if it's the quarterback, then he wasn't the MVP. So Kenneth Walker, now you get Sam Darnold and then there's a video where they're going to Disneyland, but he's just so, I mean, Kenneth Walker, this is great for him. He's a free agent and probably could use, you know, as much cash as he's going to get. Sam Darnold makes, you know, $33 million, but he's there in his little T cup. And, well, wasn't it Nancy Carrigan when she went to Disney World and they had a microphone on her and then she said something disparaging. It's so lame. I mean, Sam Darnold's only 28. So he's not out of the, you know, the age bracket there. He just doesn't have any kids. Yeah, Pauling. Can you guys guess who the first athlete was who said, I'm going to Disneyland after winning the Super Bowl and how much they got paid. I'll give you a hint. It was in the late 80s. Late 80s. Try Eggman. New York Giants quarterback Phil Sims. Oh, after beating the Broncos, sorry, Toddler, he was paid $50,000 to say it and go to Disney World. Yes, Marvin. Phil Sims was my guess. Yeah, mine too. I'm going to say Doug Williams. Yeah, I was going to say Phil Sims too. I'm going to say Phil Sims. They're looking, they estimate that these two guys maybe made a couple of things. They estimate that these two guys maybe made a couple hundred grand to say it and spend the day there. That's a good dough. You know, it's not unlike all those dudes that got paid to do the Captain Morgan celebration a few years back. Yeah. Remember if you go all of a sudden, touch down and they'd stand like Captain Morgan in the end zone. And then you realize after like week three or four of they are like, wait a minute, they're getting paid to do that. Oh, it was pretty good product placement. Oh, it was great. Somebody thought of that. They should get a raise. Could Disney have a sense of humor and let the guy say, I have to go to Disneyland. That would be a lot more fun. To be honest, none of them want to go. They're not going to give it that. I doubt that Disney world would want them to say that. I think, you know why? I think people would appreciate that. That they're willing to be self-deprecating. I've got to go to Disneyland. That would make me possibly want to go to Disney more. Oh, really? I'd stand in the line and then 95 degrees and I'd wait my turn to go on the right. Why are you buzzkill? I think it would be hilarious. And that they'd do it. I'd have to go to Disneyland. I would go, if I went by myself, didn't have to take the kids. Yeah, I'll go to Disneyland. Fast pass? Yeah. Oh, the fast pass. Yeah. Boy, people stare daggers all right into your back. Right into your chest when you do the fast pass. You don't have to wait in line. I think you're so crazy. Who are you? One of those guys who would walk around with a turkey leg, you know, you see some of those guys annoying on a turkey leg going up and down the lanes there. No. You wouldn't do that. They do have people who do that. I've been there a number of times. How do you think you're doing so far? I think I'm doing okay. I think you're trying not to give me a little up. I think Focci was better than you gave me credit for. No, I wasn't good. I mean, you had a great week last week. It all bounces out. See what happens? I'm going to go quiet for the next hour if I didn't even know I thought you left. I didn't know you was still here. Yes, Paul. I'm looking and this is a good investment for Sam Dardle. He had to get up early and get on the jet to go there. But he gets a lifetime pass to Disney for him and his family going forward. I like that. So when he has kids someday, he's all set. I like that. Yeah. It's a great experience. The problem is depending on how old your children are. You go in July or August, you're just... That's probably when most people go, but it is death. Because you're dragging around toddlers and they're melting right. If you're only as happy as you're unhappy as child, and you learn that in Disney world because you can have three. They're happy in one. It's just a mess. You're there for the full day. Yeah, Paul. Okay. I'm ready to take his kid to Disney. The kid is just turn three. Oh, man. We're right on the cut. I think that's a year early. I would say no. I would say no. If it's a boy, gotta make sure he's potty train too. It sounds like experience. It is. My son was a late developer there. I do. You're three and a half. Come on. You're nothing in the T-Cup ride. I spend the money if they're not even old enough to remember it. Yep. What's the point? I would say four is the cutoff. Maybe. Maybe. That's even still a little aggressive. But if you pick out three or four things, that would be great. It'll all just blend together and then, you know, they won't be mission accomplished. You gotta make that kid want it a little bit. It can't just be like, I'm four now. You gotta report card again. Have you started school yet? Are you doing what? Make that kid work for it a little bit. Be like, all right, this year, Skippy, you're seven, you're eight now. You finally earned it. Yeah, we're going to Disney World. Skippy. Or you could do what we did. We just went to Disneyland. We just didn't go into Disneyland. Is that like Wally World? Yeah, you got to the gate. That was it. But it was pretty good. Disney Land look really a lot of fun. But kids, look at all the fun they're having in there. Grab a Polaroid. Yeah, he has Todd. But the other way could be weird too. Like, have a 19 year old that's way too enthusiastic about going to Disney. Really? Like a sophomore in college, really? Oh, no, but there are grownups who are, they want to work there. They love that the Magic Kingdom that much. You know, a lot of, just love that feeling when they're there. Yeah, Paul. What is the age when kids will not go to Disney? It's 14, 15, 16, where if the parents suggested they'd be like, ugh, I roll. Oh, no. Really? No, there's rides for all ages. Yeah, I thought maybe that middle teen window. Didn't affect my kids. Like even now. Like they're grown. And they're like, we should go to Disney World. Yeah, I see. I think my senior class trip. Oh, okay. Maybe. Yeah. Junior senior year, I think it was my senior year was to Disney World in Orlando. And it was awesome. Even though I got crazy sunburn the first day. Crazy sunburn. Everyone's like, hey man, you should put some lotion on. I'm like, nah, I'm good. And I spent the whole rest the next five days covered in blisters is terrible. But it was awesome. Yeah, it was more of it. My son doesn't pay for anything. You don't pay for anything. Uh, Adam and Michigan. A scrub. Telling your son a scrub. Well, I used to call him a freeloader. Oh, it's only begun. He's only 11. I found out last week. Yeah, you're going to be, he's on scholarship, man. A big dog. You are expensive. Uh, Adam and Michigan. Hi, Adam. What's on your mind today? Oh, yeah. You guys just reminded me of the old Jack candy quotes from SNL. Where I took my kid to Disneyland and there was a sign that said Disneyland left. And I turned around and they cried the whole way home. But, uh, I got two things. One for Marvin, bite of the face. Arizona, Yukon, who goes further. Oh, yeah, he's got a couple of these beds, don't you? I do, yes. Okay. Yeah, he'll take you up on that, Adam. Uh, Dave and Cincinnati. Good morning, Dave. Hey, good morning, Dan. I'm going to take you to my call. Yeah, I just couldn't stay out of it. Stay in idly by and let you get a patch for this whole curling thing. Maybe they shouldn't be so sensitive before they get the name of their sport right. What is curling? That's a weight room activity. Uh, should be sliding or pushing or sweeping or something. But, uh, curling, where's the curling? I don't understand that at all. Once again, that's Dave from Cincinnati saying that to the curling community. I'm not saying that. I'm, you know, stay in my lane now when it comes to green day and when it comes to curling. Yeah, well, little do you know, okay, curling the sport predates people lifting weights. So, I... John and Florida, hi, John. Hey, Dan. Excuse me. I wanted to chime in on the whole John thing. Wanted to send you out a little bit of love. I don't want you to lose faith in John's work for 13 years from actually another John from Illinois. Very nice guy. Loves you too. Um, and I wanted to chime in also on Marvin. When Marvin was answering the phone back in the day, he was the most polite person I've ever spoken to on the phone. And I'm 65 years old. So, I thought I had the perfect, uh, the perfect thing you were doing. The worst two words in sports. And I said compound fracture. And I thought, oh, I've got a perfect one. I had forgotten. I was listening to the podcast while I was driving when I was working. Marvin very politely said, oh, we're doing best in worst of the weakest. Well, thank you, John. Yes, Marvin is, uh, well-mannered. He was taught correctly by his mother, who was in the military. Yeah, no games were being played in my house. Marvin, what? You said, yes, yes, yes. You didn't say what? There's no way. No. Where to my house? Yeah, Bridget is not putting up the games. No games. Uh, we're going to see Rollin in Boise. Hey, Rollin. Hi, how are you doing, gentlemen? First time, long time, six two, and a white chocolate mocha, two, fifteen. And, uh, like Seaton, there is a senior night in big air, uh, Walt Disney, or land. Uh, it is a lot of shenanigans with a lot of seniors. I'm surprised they're still doing that these days. But, um, I watch Curly and All Weekend with the family, and it's a great sport. So, thanks for keeping the love, and I don't know why you're getting food on that. And, um, also, we've not a lot of talk about since football's over, but I'd love to get your take on Cooper Flag and what he is doing and what he's bringing to the game right now. He is taking it to a new level, to be that age, to be the go to guy on the team. And he just turned nineteen. And we did an interview with him. He was still in high school because when I went up to Maine and Cooper is from there, and I met some people who, their children played on the basketball team with him. And they said, you've got, you better jump on the Cooper Flag ban wagon here because he's going to be the best player in the sport. And I thought, okay, best player in college. And, uh, they, they had big projections for him. And I'm thinking, okay, great players in the history of Maine, probably not a long list of great players. But then all of a sudden, you see him and he's playing in, you know, in Mount Birdie. And that's, that's a college team right there. And he was standing out there. Then when he went and played against the Olympic team. And, you know, you see clips, but I talked to somebody who was there who worked on the staff. And I said, all right, give me the for real. And he said, for real. I go like, like for real for real. And he goes for real for real for real. I went, God, he's eighteen. And he said, he's not afraid of anybody out here. I said, well, I just saw some of the video. He said, at times, he was the best player on the floor. I said, oh, man. So we've been well versed in Cooper Flag for quite some time. All right, we'll take a break. Mike Goldick Sr. will join us. And I'll ask him the question. 15 years from now, we will remember Super Bowl 64. What? Or whom? Back after this. I was talking about Clint Kubiak and I came in the next morning with these guys. I said, Brady is going to hire the offensive coordinator for Seattle. And he's like, how do you know that? I said, he kept calling. He said, my guy. And I go, oh my God, he's right in front of us. He's going to be the head coach of the Raiders and they officially swore him in. He is my Goliq Senior. He is co-hosted. He's a Goliq and Goliq on Fandule Sports Network. And you can listen to him every single day. Imparting wisdom, right Mike? Yeah, that's it. Yeah, we'll go with that. Okay, 15 years from now, when I say, what do you remember about Super Bowl 60? You will say what? Defense. Just like I say about when Tampa Bay, one years ago, Baltimore, one at year, one at year ago, the Bears in 85, even though they had Walter Payton and Jim McMahon, those teams were led by defense. This one was led by defense. I'm going to remember as bad bunny. Ha! Ha! So, I watched that. I was out there for the week. Obviously with my son, Michael, I do the show with. And he's 36. I'm 63, so we obviously have different tastes in music. And as I said, this is not going to make me become a bad bunny fan. I'm not going to download his music. It's nothing I've ever listened to. But I thought it was entertaining. You know, we watched it. We were at the stadium pregame and then we went back to the hotel for the game. Half times it is a made for TV event. It's not for the people in the stadium. I thought even though I didn't understand any of the words, I thought it was a good show. Again, that's the most I'll ever listen to bad bunny, but I thought it was produced well. Yeah, but I wonder when people say, well, I didn't understand it. It's singing in Spanish. And if Pavarotti would have been the half-time guest, would people say, hey, can you sing in English there? Well, that's what I had said. I'm going to go to opera all the time. They don't understand the language, even some of the songs that are in English. We don't understand the words. We know the chorus to them, but we don't understand the words. So I listen, we know this all got politicized. I watch it for the show value. I get it from the NFL side. You've conquered the United States. You know, here you have somebody who's one of the biggest entertainers in the world and you're trying to go international with your sport. I get it. And without getting into the political side of anything, I just looked at it for the share entertainment and the reasons the NFL brought them in. Yeah, I agree. And I'm not really familiar with who he is, not his music. No. But he's selling out wherever he goes to large stadium crowds. So I have great respect for that. You know, the Drake May fallout using after the Super Bowl. You know, one of the two teams seems to have a little bit of a drop the following season. I'm looking at the Patriots schedule. They got a first place schedule now. They're going to be on the road. So nobody's going to say they backed in if they make it back to the playoffs and or the Super Bowl. But what concerns would you have with what we saw with sort of Drake May, CJ Stroud kind of, wait a minute, where did this come from? You know, concerns going into next season. Well, I mean, listen, Drake May, you have to see what the next day, and you're right to bring up CJ Stroud, you know, because we saw him have such an excellent rookie year and then struggle for the next couple of years. I still think Drake May will be fine. He's got to hold on to the ball better for sure. Offensive line. The first one member, he had two rookies at left guard and left tackle. And when Campbell came back from injury, he just wasn't the same guy. They have an excellent defense. The defense played well in the Super Bowl with a question. And I think there's a reason. I think New England, you know, how they do the two early prediction for and the odds for next year's Super Bowl. I think New England was like tenth. the other was first la was second the rams were second and i think i think new england was ten and i think a lot of that is they're gonna have a much harder schedule this year but i was trying to understand what josh mcdanniel's was doing or not doing if i know the left side of my line mic is you know porous why don't i have somebody over there just helping out if i'm going to throw let me give drake may time to throw listen i i i agree i i i absolutely great and quite honestly the biggest issue i have with the game plan is they didn't run the ball more you have a two-headed monster on a monday stevensson and traviant henderson they combined ran at thirteen times and this was a nine nothing game at half time it's not like knowing that was out of this game i'm surprised they abandoned the run you keep hammer the run hammer the run you may gain a yard two yard three then you pop one for fifteen then you gain a couple then you pop one for twenty i was somewhat amazed that they gave up on that when they did knowing you're going to pass more and then putting your your you know your left side of the line the rookies uh... on an island both jared wilson and uh... will Campbell i thought new england could steal this when it was only nine to nothing and it should have been twenty one to nothing just the way c out of his playing and i thought just just gets something get some momentum and they never got any rhythm whatsoever now all of a sudden when you think about it drake may have the most passing yards in one quarter in the history of the super bowl and had a bad game oh yeah i mean listen at that point c out of was giving them everything they could underneath and they were getting some yards at the catch and that really padded drake may stat because neither neither quarterback was great this game i mean sam dara completed fifty percent of his passes at some point in this game dan the new england offense had to be on the sideline in between series going okay this Seattle team is is showing us things that they hadn't shown devon with her spoon blitz more times in this game that he didn't any game all season as as new england was trying to figure out not to get too far into the we just send a guy in motion or a back in motion or receiver motion to try and figure out is the defense planes owner playing man if a guy follows a guy it's a lot of times it's man blah blah blah blah well Seattle would follow a guy make it look like man and then play zone i mean they they just did a great job mic mcdonald did a great great job in disguising defenses bringing blitzers i think devon with us when should have been the MVP again i'm not pounding the table that walker wanted he had an excellent game so i i it's not like i'm losing my mind on it but i think i would have gone with the defensive player but new england just had to be sitting on the sidelines going a they're just better than us right now we need to figure something out and they never figured anything out talking about golic senior co-host a goalie congolic on fandals sports network give me the fan base that had to be thinking we should be there oh boy probably the rams uh... even though it was Seattle beat him i'm sure buffalo fans thought this was our chance right this is our chance to get here with no can't a city but doesn't come down to zack charbonne with that two point conversion that gave them home field advantage like if if they lose that game to the rams siales then on the road i believe for three consecutive games so that memory just picks up the ball and yeah and yes so i mean that might be the biggest play of the entire season it is amazing and kind of a kind of a fluke play because there is the the bill parcells that's why you run all them sprints and lift all them waits for certain plays to have an effect on the year and that play did right it makes you go from being on the road to being at home now not saying that Seattle couldn't a one on the road they did very well on the road this year extremely well on the road so they they could have done it as well but i i think everybody believes the next team up or and really that and if she championship game was really kind of the super bowl and that had the best two teams it i would love to watch the game with john shalein yeah yeah i mean you know there there run defense just wasn't good enough this year that that that is a glaring glaring weakness when you're talking about in the playoffs when you can run the ball and play really good defense well they couldn't stop the run very well and that that's going to hurt you that's going to get the ball controlled on you uh... but i i think though you asked about a fan base i think that fan base was like man this was our chance and we blew it yeah and i it always goes back to and i feel like i i'm on repeat when we get to the super bowl after the super bowl you play great defense run the football and don't turn turn the ball over right i mean that's that's it you i'll take my chances everybody talks about you know we're going to throw the ball and you got to have these big splash plays and i go if i can control the clock keep your defense on the field my defense going to put pressure on you and we don't have turnovers and it's exactly what happened they held the ball for over seven minutes more than new England defense played great and sam donald had fourteen interceptions and six lost fumbles i believe in the regular season twenty turnovers and had a goose egg in the postseason zero turnover so that plays right into the perfect formula i'll leave you with this if we redrafted that quarterback class which rake may Caleb jaden daniel's twenty twenty four i i don't think it would be much different because member jaden daniel's had an excellent rookie year and he had an injury filled second year Caleb Williams i mean had a rough first year but look what he's done his second year helped drop the sacks by getting rid of the ball making hella plays outside of the of the pocket i i i don't really think it would have changed much well both honest both nicks would have gone ahead of panics and McCarthy oh yeah yeah yes without question McCarthy and panics would have been would have would have dropped out we would have dropped lower in the first round if the first round at all especially i had my son and i we definitely had question marks about j j macarthe coming in from michigan but just bonix absolutely would have been the fourth quarterback taken good to talk to you as always have a good off season if there isn't off season i we know there isn't thank you my you got it then michael ex-senior co-host of golly congolic with michigan your on fandal sports network uh david o'hioe hey dav what's on your mind today hey dan you got me yeah you're uh stopping ground mason o'hioe uh five nine a bit soft uh one eighty nine soft the reason i was calling then i know you're all about love and we need your and the dan ed's help i've just come to find out that next year's super bowl fall long valentines day yep and the question i have married 41 years if my packers are in the super bowl what should i do go to the super bowl okay and the impact on my relationship or any advice for uh your other listeners out there on what to do well if she loves you then she'll love that you love your packers i mean it this isn't i think we feel like valentines day is only for the women i get for us too right if you say so it is it is yeah it is it should be should be yes and is is you can split that heart right down the middle our birthdays aren't even for us anymore what are you talking about yes Todd it's also a contrived holiday that gives restaurants a chance to do their price fixed menus and all kinds of things are insanely uh priced at the different place where you would go out to eat and chocolates and everything else you got to go see your team in the super bowl you could celebrate valentines day the day before the weekend after whatever it is if she loves you then you know show and you know you've got a set of free is staying one saying what was what were the lyrics then if you love somebody set them free yeah yeah set them free to go to LA for the super bowl yeah absolutely uh chat and salt lake i chat what's on your mind well first my wedding anniversary is February 13th and it starts by being smart and marrying smart my wife is a diehard sportsman she's already planning the trip to the super bowl i like that i like that your coverage boys outtake your coverage thank you Chad and if you come to Los Angeles hopefully you'll stop by the show yes Paul i think it was Vince Lamberti that said years ago love come second did he say that i think it was him again yeah a lot of uh you know great lines there love comes yeah love yeah it's a shared holiday and if your wife knows that you love the packer you go to the super bowl i mean bring her with you yes marina and valentine's day is every year the packer's going to the super bowl is not every year that's true that's true yeah i think we need to take back valentine's day just a little bit here being quietly quietly your first quietly yeah let me know how it goes yeah yeah go report back to us why did say to my wife i said what are you getting me for valentine's day and then uh she said i hadn't thought about it yet i said why i hadn't thought about you either even though i have but i just wanted to let her know i returned serve and i'm like okay yeah i said feel yes time you also don't need all the valentine's decorations the suit as the ball goes down it's already a month and a half we're already doing all the hearts and all that garbage not garbage garbage what do you i don't like a month and a half of valentine's things all over the pharmacies and the supermarkets and everywhere you go the doctor's office it's like Todd you'll use anything for love on any day especially a holiday that is fair you'll be the cheesiest guy out there get it where you can go if it has to be only on February 14th it's so weird you're very transparent with your endgame here i am you are yeah i'll get the chocolates and the flowers and the joy i i'm like everybody else you do that thing and then you keep your fingers crossed to see how the night ends and just make sure that you don't put your son and daughter on your text mail yes i did have that faux pas in during super bowl week something that was just meant for my wife was on the pain next thankfully it wasn't that inappropriate but it was it's something no no it was it get it hinted thankfully mario showed me how quickly how did the least i wouldn't have no i want you send her to the top there forever no you can delete it you can take it back as a oh when fritzy goes oh i can't believe what i did and you know when he says that i'm rarely surprised but this one i was surprised because he sent a sexy message text to his wife that included his son in dollar it was no advise it was the kind of thing that i would not want to have like it's on that note for any reason at all yes mario sex you just inappropriate but you were there with him i was we were in the car and then he gets a call and it was his wife didn't go great yeah i know you're showing off to your friends there in the car but like that why did you send that why did you i shouldn't i was in a playful mood with the guest book we were at the san Jose sharks and i was just feeling myself and i wasn't really thinking clearly and i was just in a silly mood how about we take a break more phone calls coming up update the poll results reggie miller will join us next hour the nba's talking about expansion and no surprise they're talking about vagus and cia don't i'll talk to reggie about that we're back after this dan patrick show fox sports radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation catch all of our shows at fox sports radio dot com and within the i hard radio app search fsr to listen live update the poll results more phone calls nba expansion on the horizon hopefully it's cia and loss vagus now when we were in vagus for formula one i had somebody who is local and an influential person in vagus and we were driving and he said do you want to see where the new arena is for basketball i said sure and he drove me over to this area of where they're planning to have their nba arena and i go okay seems like a four-gun conclusion they're going to be in vagus and then they're going to go back to c outl this is i always hated when a team left a city and took the name the identity to another city like the new orland jazz belonged in new orlands you ta come up with your own name uh o'clomac city thunder they should be the o'clomac city thunder not remnants of the supersonic so your record books your history shouldn't include cia don't cia don't hopefully they get the team and they can be the supersonics again but when you take the nickname with you i mean even the miniapolis lakers you go to los angeles you should have had another name now you can say okay the brookland dodgers going to la do you change the name yes new york giants go to the san francisco giants have your own start with that team have your own history your own nickname mascot whatever it is team colors all of those things but cia don't is the supersonics but if you go to okc and you look at all their records i mean kevin de rand played one year in cia don't yeah yeah one of the greatest players in the cia don't supersonic history yes marvin yeah you feel bad for guys like gary paton and shan camp they've never officially had their numbers were tired by the supersonics because they don't have a team anymore and they can't get their numbers retired down in ok city they never played there i know yeah poly the sonics left cia after the oh eight season they were twenty and sixty two three years later they got fifty five wins are in the western conference finals and they went on that great run yeah and that's that's hurts yes he and i hate seeing their throwback uniforms all different city like i hate it gets me like it changes my mood it gets me so when the titans when the titans go houston oiler throwbacks and i'm like no no that that should be you should be fine for dual that those are uniforms that belong in houston with the the oil rigs there not in nashville and then not for nothing but it like it kind of like well who the hell of the Texans where the oilers that's who we wanted yeah yeah poly so you would be in favor of taking the oilers history and reattaching it to the houston Texans more so than letting the titans take it right you left town you don't get let the Texans be the oilers right yeah that's what should have happened yeah we got a team back let's make him the oilers again and then in the history wikipedia there's a gap of a few years and say are no team there yes more that's what the Cleveland Browns did so an art modell moved yeah Cleveland to Baltimore Cleveland said you cannot be the Browns turned into the Ravens you're an expansion franchise and they kept all those records so ray Lewis and Jonathan ognon they're not former Browns that are now Ravens well even the Baltimore cults they went to the Indianapolis Indianapolis cults if I'm Baltimore I'd say no no no no you can take the team you're not taking our identity here yeah pulling I'm looking at profile reference dot com the bible and the Baltimore Ravens are just the Ravens they don't have any of the other cults lineage yeah yeah CJ and Denver high cj what's on your mind today oh hey Dan um first time last uh first time uh long time uh want to thank you for the telegram um on five seven two hundred uh BP um I so I don't make a skeptical myself on my first phone call with you always wanted to uh call you but I I never do because I'm usually working and or sleeping during this time and wanted to reach out to you before you went up to the big uh microphone up in the sky I have a question for Paulie in a request for fritzy how about we speed it up a little bit CJ yeah sure the uh question for uh Paulie is uh is that the itane because he only has uh one good eye and then I request for fritzy would be I wonder if you could give us what if doctor Phil was Mike Tyson's therapist thank you all right thank you CJ when I go to the big microphone in the sky that little depressing yeah sure yeah you're just retiring until you look it'll still be with us uh doctor Phil analyzing Mike Tyson Todd well you got this big painting on your face you're going around doing all kinds of things you think you're a movie star now and then I'm making no boxer you gotta move off from that but for over 40 years tire rack has been helping you find the right tires for how and what and where your driveship fast and free back by free road hazard protection convenient been watching game film they had gone and watched the Olympics and we're like we know how to do this and I was like I just thought this looks easy it is not easy as you said earlier when uh they instructor asked who wanted to go first my boyfriend volunteered me immediately which I don't mind embarrassing myself because if I fall everybody else is gonna have fun after then soar for about two weeks after but it's well worth it so highly recommended for a first date well thank you monica I don't know if I'd recommended for a first date especially if you're drinking because uh it's hard to
