Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the underexplored pockets of F1, including the astrology of the current grid, the story of the sport's most consequential driver's strike, and plenty of other mishaps, scandals, and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent gumster fire for more than 75 years. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? Everything has been made to fit. The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed. What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe? Oh my God, I think she might be innocent. Listen to Doubt, The Case of Lucy Letby on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And you can see Bruno Mars May at Ford Field. Text RAIN to 95500. We'll get one quick last dirty in. We've got a couple good topics coming up here next. What's going on, Shannon? Well, I want to start off with the Nancy Guthrie case. I feel like we haven really talked much about it in the past day or two Unfortunately I think that this story is going to die down and then it pretty much I mean it been well over a month at this point It probably should. I hate to say it. If that was my mother, I would hope it never went away. Yeah. But I don't know how they can't, they don't have more evidence on this. Yeah. We can actually start off with the Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nianios, and he was commenting on the current status, which is, there's not much going on. I think the investigators are definitely closer. We got a lot of intel, a lot of leads. But now it's time to just go to work. Do you think that's true? I feel like they got someone on the inside. He said now it's time to go to work. It's been a month. 29 days in. I do want to mention this, too. There was a blind item just posted by a gossip blog that we all follow on X. And it reads this. This is in relation to the Nancy Guthrie case. It says this married true crime content creator is sleeping with a female true crime content creator as they compete for clicks in the Nancy Guthrie case. They are even sharing a hotel room and do their videos from the same hotel room. Who is that? I don't know. I like it, though. If you think you know who it is and you're following this case, please text us. I've had five zero zero. Did you see like I can't even think of any like normally I'm pretty good at going. Oh, I know who this is. Did you see the clip I sent you guys yesterday in our group text about the, speaking of content creators, the streamer that was taking her modeling photo shots in front of Nancy Guthrie's house yesterday? So this woman who's all over, I guess, Instagram's got 100,000 plus followers. And she was doing these shots. They had a professional photography set in front of the house. Why? Now, I get crap for just driving by the house. I would hope that the same people that are upset with me just literally driving by the house were upset with this lady that was doing this. It worked. Selena Gomez says Taylor Swift did write the song Dorothea about her, which finally confirms a fan theory that's been going around since the song dropped on Taylor's album Evermore. Well, Dorothea is about me, one of her songs. And I feel like a lot of moments, huge moments that were self-defining from relationships to family to love to hate, all of it in between. We were figuring it out because I was 15 and she was 18. And we didn really know like what was going on And so we never seen each other any differently Yeah she also said Taylor wrote another song about there were a few but one of them is unreleased. It's called Family, which was written about 10 years ago, also inspired by their friendship and their dreams, their early dreams of becoming successful in music and acting. While we're talking about Selena, we got to talk about her husband, Benny Blanco's Dirty Feet. So during that podcast, which you can also watch on video, the podcast is called Friends Keep Secrets. So he, Benny Blanco, puts his feet up on a table and you can tell they're not clean. And Selena leans over and starts kissing his toes in front of the camera. My mom said I was very, they like that. Oh, don't make it a bowman. Oh, no, I wasn't. I liked it. Fans went wild. They're still so disgusted by his feet. I'm shocked he put his feet back up there after the first time he did. She doesn't care. He doesn't care. Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show turned into a massive global hit, racking up more than 4.1 billion views in its first 24 hours. That number is according to the show's co-producer, Roc Nation. The number combines U.S. and international TV broadcasts along with views on YouTube, social media, and other digital platforms. and Roc Nation says it is the most watched Super Bowl halftime show performance ever in history. Which initially they were saying the opposite of that. So I wonder they just had to wait for all the numbers to come through, huh? Yeah. Well, it's also kind of unfair to say that it was the most watched in history because, you know, back in the day, we didn't have YouTube or social media or digital platforms to watch on. I want to go back and just start watching some of the older ones that are out there, I like the mic because they, yeah, that was the first one that really popped off. Michael Jackson, Prince. Yeah. It's not raining when Prince did it too. That was fire. Well, and you guys remember the best, I still think the best national anthem that was ever done was the Whitney Houston. It was. That was the best. Yeah. And lastly, a new study says overly personalized ads that we all see when we're scrolling or visiting certain websites can actually drive customers away instead of attracting them. So have you ever been on like Instagram, for example, and or like this happens to me when I'm on Daily Mail and I see something that I'm like, how do they even know that I was looking for that specifically? So researchers are finding that when ads feel too personal, people start to feel really creeped out because it seems like companies are watching their behavior online, which they are. But that uncomfortable feeling can make people less likely to trust the brand or buy the product. so the reaction usually happens in two steps people are first very confused about how however XYZ company knows so much about them Then they start to feel like wait a second this feels like surveillance or spying which creates that strong, creepy reaction. So a lot of people are saying, I'm not going to buy this product. I'm no longer going to support this company. And I'm going to install ad blockers so that I don't get these ads anymore. I've felt that way before. It like backfires. Look what's out for delivery. It says arrives today. It's in Romulus, Michigan, Shannon. Oh, you're extra. You get to try it today. But that's not creepy. That was me. You know, that was content. Your vacuum sucker? The vacuum travel pack, which, by the way, thank you to Shannon. I got a deal on it, but thank you to Shannon. Now every ad that pops up on my thing is for travel stuff. For real? Yeah. You got some travel coming up? No. Actually, honestly, these things aren't even. I was away and I had that bag that I couldn't fit all the clothes in. Might have to go get your wife in Cancun. That's right. Well, who knows?
